Background Malnutrition and systemic inflammatory response have been confirmed to be important risk factors for various cancers. Objective To compare pretreatment prognostic nutrition index (PNI) among patients with laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), laryngeal precancerous lesion (LPL) and laryngeal benign lesion (LBL). Methods A total of 253 male patients with laryngeal lesions were divided into LBL, LPL with low risk (LPL (l)), LPL with high risk (LPL(h)), LSCC (i), LSCC (ii) and LSCC (iii) groups according to their histopathological findings and the TNM staging system. PNI and other clinical parameters were calculated. Kruskal-Wallis, Mann-Whitney U or Chi-square or Fisher's exact test were used for comparison of different parameters among groups. Logistic regression was performed to estimate the odds ratios (OR) and the corresponding 95% confidence intervals (CI). Results The PNI in the LSCC group was significantly lower than those of the LBL and LPL groups (p = .013 and p = .004, respectively), and decreased from LPL(l) to LSCC (iii) (from 53.97 ± 3.69 to 50.02 ± 4.75). LPL patients with lower PNI values had a higher risk of LSCC, the OR was 0.91 (95% CI: 0.84, 0.97) for a one-unit decrease. Conclusions PNI could be a simple and reproducible marker for predicting the severity of laryngeal diseases.

In this paper, the reliability allocation and index of overall cost of rotary ultrasonic vibration-assisted EDM machine tool were studied. The failure rate of each module of the rotary ultrasonic vibration-assisted EDM machine tool can be accurately predicted by the maximum entropy ordered weighted average algorithm so that the corrected maintenance cost can be predicted. And effective control of preventive maintenance costs can be achieved by selecting the best maintenance times under the premise of reliability. The cost of corrective maintenance can be reduced by improving modules with a high failure rate, so as to realize the purpose of cost optimization under the premise of determining the maintenance time and reliability. The reliability function of the rotary ultrasonic vibration-assisted EDM machine tool is established according to the series-parallel relationship of each module. The results showed that the reliability of rotary ultrasonic vibration-assisted EDM machine tool is stabler at the non-fixed maintenance period according to the comparison between the non-fixed and the fixed maintenance period.

With the development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), the construction of the smart city came into being. Compared with the traditional city, a smart city can reduce resource consumption, improve energy efficiency, reduce environmental pollution, reduce traffic congestion, reduce potential safety hazards, improve the quality of life of citizens, etc. In order to collect a large amount of data to provide accurate decision-making recommendations for the management of smart cities, a large-scale Internet of Things (IoT) system needs to be built as the basis. For most applications in smart cities, it is very important to obtain the physical location information of the data during the data collection. However, it is a challenging issue for most sensor devices in the IoT system, because sensor devices are hard to equip positioning equipment as limited by cost. To tackle this, a Low-Cost Physical Locations Discovery (LCPLD) Scheme is proposed in this paper. In LCPLD scheme, mobile vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are used for physical location discovery on the wireless sensor networks which are the important component of the IoT system in a smart city. In order to further reduce cost, we propose a task application mechanism to reduce the cost of vehicle broadcasting and the Adaptive UAV Flight Path Planning (AUPPP) algorithm to reduce UAV flight cost. In order to reduce localization error, the Large Error Rejection (LER) algorithm and the UAV Same Position Broadcast Repeat (USPBR) algorithm are proposed in this paper. After simulation experiments based on real vehicle driving data, the experimental results prove the effectiveness of the proposed scheme: Compared with the comparison scheme, the LCPLD scheme proposed has a cost reduction of 16.58% ∼ 19.88%, an average reduction of 78.80% in positioning error, and an average reduction of 99.88% in the variance of positioning error.

Based on panel data from 30 provinces in China from 2008 to 2017, this paper constructs a quantile regression econometric model to analyze whether China’s environmental regulation has an impact on export trade and to verify whether the Porter hypothesis has been valid in China in recent years. The results show that in the short term, environmental regulations have a restraining effect on export trade, while in the long run, due to the existence of innovation efficiency, environmental regulations will change from having a restraining effect to a promoting effect on export trade. Strict environmental regulations will reduce the production cost of Chinese products, further improve the export competitiveness of Chinese enterprises, and promote export trade. The empirical results verify the conclusion that the Porter hypothesis is confirmed in China. The following three suggestions are proposed for China’s exports to promote the win–win of China’s green development and export trade: promote the realization of international and domestic double circulation, avoid becoming “pollution shelters” and support technological innovation in environmental protection industries.

In this paper, a more computationally convenient singularity condition of the enveloped surface is proposed using the theory of linear algebra. Its preconditions are only the tangential vector of the enveloping surface, the relative velocity vector, and the total differential of the meshing function. It avoids calculating the curvature parameters of the enveloping surface. It is proved that the singularity conditions of enveloped surface from different references are equivalent to each other and the relational equations among them are obtained. The curvature interference theory for the involute worm drive is established using the proposed singularity condition. The equation for the singularity trajectory is obtained. The calculation method for the singularity trajectory is proposed and its numerical result is obtained. The influence of the design parameters on the singularity trajectory is studied using the proposed curvature interference theory. The study results show that the risk of curvature interference is high when the transmission ratio is too small, especially in the case of the single-threaded worm and large modulus. The proposed singularity condition can also be applied to study the curvature interference mechanism in other types of the worm drive and to study the undercutting mechanism when machining the worm drive.

The risk of cascading failure in power grid can be integrated the possibility and severity of cascading failure severity. The possibility in traditional risk assessment only considered the line failure rate, but the line overload outage is one of the important reasons lead to cascading failure too. In order to consider the complex uncertainty in actual power system, according to the line protection actions, environmental and weather factors and human errors caused by the line fault and line overload to get the line outage probability, further set up cascading failure risk assessment model of power grid considering line outage rate .The simulation of the WSCC-9 buses system proved that the proposed method is with correctness and objectivity, provided with engineering value.

기계번역과 AI번역으로 대표되는 번역기의 발달은 최근 우리 사회의 화두가 되고있다. 특히 최근 몇 년 사이에 번역기는 NMT라는 인공신경망기술로 인해 정확도와 유창성이 높아지면서 주요한 관심의 대상이 되었다. 그리고 그동안 기술적인 문제로 인해 번역기는 일부의 전문 번역가의 전유물로만 생각되었던 시대에서 이제는 일상생활 안에서 쉽게 접할 수 있는 대상이 되었다. 본 연구는 중한 기계번역에서 중국어권 학습자의 접근이 용이한 한국의 대표적인 온라인 기업인 네이버의 파파고, 그리고 중국에서 잘 알려져 있는 바이두 번역기의 기계번역 실현양상을 분석하기로 하였다. 그리고 세계적으로 알려진 구글 번역기가 중한 번역의 정확성이 어떠한지를 살피기 위해 한·중의 대표적인 번역기와 함께 실험을 진행하고자 한다. 번역기를 통해 생산된 번역물은 10인의 번역가를 통해서 그 정확도를 평가하였다. 평가의 대상은 언어적인 표현에 대한 것이지만 번역과 통역이라는 상황을 감안하여, 표현에 대한 사용 맥락을 파악할 수 있도록 문화소가 포함된 전체 문장을 실험자에게 제시하여 그 번역을 평가하도록 하였다. 그리고 번역에 대한 평가 점수와 함께 평가 항목과 평가 기준을 분석하도록 하여 그 결과를 살펴보았다.

Carbonized traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is a kind of distinctive traditional drug which has been widely used in various bleeding syndromes for over two thousand years, and most of them are still in clinical use. Although they share similar processing method: stir-frying, there are no specific quality standards and few quality control researches carried out on carbonized TCM up until now. Carbonized Typhae Pollen (CTP) is a typical carbonized TCM with efficacy of eliminating blood stasis and stanching bleeding. In this study, a novel process quality control model coupled with near infrared spectroscopy was established, called Gradient-based Discriminant Analysis method (GDA). Compared with conventional modeling methods (Convolutional Neural Network, Linear Discriminant Analysis, Standard Normal Variate-LDA), GDA model applied in fiber optic probe acquisition mode exhibited highest test accuracy (0.961), satisfactory correct identification (internal validation, 100%; external validation, 97.1%) and excellent model stability. This method provided a perfect guideline for process quality control of Carbonized TCM as well as ensured their clinical efficacy.

Background HIIT has recently been widely used for health promotion in healthy people and patients with chronic diseases. Exercise can help SUD reduce drug cravings, enhance mental health and return to normal life. However, whether HIIT can bring better physical rehabilitation benefits to individuals with SUD than MICT is unclear. The study aimed to compare the effects of HIIT versus MICT on the physical fitness of individuals with SUD. Methods One hundred twenty individuals with amphetamine-type stimulant dependence voluntarily participated in this study. They were randomly assigned to the HIIT group and MICT group. Both groups received training three times a week. The intervention lasted from January 2019 to December 2019. Physical fitness was assessed at the baseline, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and 12 months, including blood pressure (BP), vital capacity(VC), hand grip, push-up, sit-and-reach, one-leg standing with eyes closed and choice reaction time. The craving level was assessed using the Visual Analog Scale at baseline, 6 months and 12 months to see any change along with the improvement in physical fitness. Two-way repeated measures ANOVA was applied to analyse the differences in change by group (HIIT and MICT) and time (baseline, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and 12 months). Results The within-group factor displayed significant changes in the HIIT and MICT groups in terms of systolic BP (F (4,336) = 12.799, P (4,336) = 9.495, P (4,336) = 18.121, P (4,336) = 34.815, P (4,336) = 13.871, P (4,336) = 28.805, P (4,336) = 14.495, P (4,336) = 20.603, P (2,168) = 11.25, P Conclusions After 12 months of intervention, physical fitness improved while craving level decreased in the two groups. These findings suggest that both HIIT and MICT have positive effects on individuals with SUD in terms of physical fitness. In today's society with highly developed transportation, automobile transportation accounts for a large proportion, which has promoted the vigorous development of automobile manufacturing. The fuel tank level of an automobile is an important measured parameter in the driving process of the car, and the fuel quantity sensor is an indispensable part of the quantity measurement system. The importance of the quality inspection process at the factory is self-evident. At present, most of the vehicle oil quantity sensors use reed switch liquid level sensors, and most of the current factory detection of the sensors is manual way, which not only requires a lot of labor costs, but also have high missed detection rate. This article designs a low-cost automotive oil level sensor detection device, which uses MCU and constant current source circuit instead of the traditional manual instrument detection. It also has on-site display function and threshold storage function. At the same time, the device can automatically identify the sensor model and execute different detection procedure without manual settings when the sensor is connected. The test results show that this device greatly improves the detection efficiency and accuracy, and reduces the cost of testing.

In this paper, the internal flow field of the equalizing flow regulating valve under the specified working conditions is simulated by CFD method, and its hydraulic and noise characteristics are studied. The results show that the full opening flow rate of the regulating valve reaches 120t/h under the pressure difference of 0.1MPa; when the mass flow rate of the outlet reaches 120t/h and 90t/h respectively under the pressure difference of 1.8MPa and 1.2MPa, the VDMA formula is adopted. The maximum sound pressure level is 86.83dB.

Sema4C, the target of many miRNAs, is involved in EMT-mediated chemotherapeutic resistance of many malignant tumors. However, the underlying upstream regulatory mechanisms of Sema4C-induced EMT and Sema4C-mediated drug resistance are still unclear. The aim of this study was to explore the potential role of miR-31-3p/Sema4C in regulating EMT in cisplatin-resistant (CR) cervical cancer cells. High expression levels of Sema4C were more frequently found in cervical cancer tissues and were associated with poor prognosis, whereas miR-31-3p was significantly downregulated in cervical cancer tissues, which was associated with shorter disease-free and overall survival. Overexpression of miR-31-3p inhibited malignant behaviors and EMT of cervical cancer cells in vitro. Furthermore, miR-31-3p was identified to directly target Sema4C, and upregulation of miR-31-3p reversed EMT-mediated biological functions, including cisplatin resistance of Sema4C in cervical cancer cells. These results suggest that Sema4C promoted EMT-mediated cisplatin resistance in cervical cancer cells and that this effect was inhibited by overexpression of miR-31-3p. Thus, silencing Sema4C or overexpression of miR-31-3p could be a novel approach to treat drug resistance to chemotherapy in cervical cancers.

In wireless sensor network, how to quickly match the real-time changing network and reduce the energy consumption in the topology discovery process has been a hot research topic, especially in the network with a large amount of mobile nodes. This paper proposes an improved mobile agents topology discovery (IMATD) protocol for software-defined wireless sensor network (SDWSN). This protocol uses mobile agents (MA) to quickly and efficiently go through each node in the network and collect their topology-related information so that each node can obtain the entire network's topology information. And the mobile agents report and update collected topology information to the controller periodically, so the controller can achieve efficient network management. The simulation results show that the proposed protocol can effectively reduce topology discovery convergence time, reduce topology discovery energy consumption, and balance node energy distribution of the entire network.

The environment in underground mine is very complicated, high levels of toxic gases pose a threat to the safety and health of workers. But the existing single-parameter gas detecting device has the disadvantages of high cost, large volume, and poor versatility. This paper designs a mine environment comprehensive monitoring and analysis instrument, which integrates various sensors to monitor carbon dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, oxygen, carbon monoxide, as well as particle matter, ambient temperature, humidity. At the same time, the instrument has variety of communication interfaces, enabling real-time data upload, local storage, and on-site display. The software design and hardware integration were completed, the actual test results were good and achieved the expected requirements.

In recent years, deep learning object detectors including Fast/Faster R-CNN, SSD, R-FCN and Mask R-CNN have shown significant performance for general object detection except for pedestrians. The Region Proposal Network (RPN) in Faster R-CNN works well yet lacks of adaptability. Therefore, we propose an adaptive real-time pedestrian detection and attribute identification scheme based on Caffe. The first contribution is the adaptive threshold adjustment (ATA) algorithm for intelligent monitoring, utilizing the pedestrian movement information to adjust the threshold. Moreover, to overcome the time-consuming defect, we analyze the influences of the number of layers, the size of convolution kernels and the number of feature maps to reduce redundant computation while maintaining satisfactory performance. By optimizing the neutral network structure, choosing model parameters and data augmentation, a stable and well-performed model with fast detection rate and high accuracy is obtained. Besides, pedestrian information can also be identified in our program, offering better service in security monitoring, intelligent robots and other fields. Extensive experimental results demonstrate that even in complex and athletic scenarios, our method can make an improvement in quality and speed over state-of-the-art.

Powerful terahertz (THz) radiation sources are crucial to the development of THz science. High-energy strong-field THz pulses have many significant applications such as in the ultrafast control of matter and the THz-driven electron acceleration. In recent years, ultraintense laser-plasma interactions have been proposed as a novel approach to strong-field THz generation. In this paper, the experimental results are presented about the generation of THz radiation from a solid foil irradiated by a 10-TW femtosecond laser pulse. The THz energy as a function of laser energy and defocusing amount is studied. It is found that both the THz energy and the laser-to-THz conversion efficiency increase nonlinearly with the laser energy increasing. At maximum laser energy ~270 mJ, the measured THz pulse energy is 458 μJ, corresponding to a laser-to-THz energy conversion efficiency of 0.17%. No indication of saturation is observed in the experiment, implying that a stronger THz radiation could be achieved with higher laser energy. By simultaneously monitoring the backward scattered laser light spectrum, it is qualitatively understood that the observed THz radiation as a function of laser energy and laser defocusing distance is closely related to the electron heating mechanisms at different laser intensities. The THz spectrum and polarization are characterized by using different band-pass filers and a wire-grid polarizer, respectively. The THz radiation covers an ultrabroad band ranging from 0.2 THz to 30 THz, and shows a radially polarized distribution. By fitting the measured THz spectrum with the theory of coherent transition radiation, the THz pulse duration is inferred to be about 30 fs. At the THz focal spot of ~1 mm in size, the THz field strength is evaluated to be 3.68 GV/m. Such a strong-field THz source will enable the study of extreme THz-matter interactions.

The high morbidity and mortality of cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) seriously affects the quality of human life. How to asses cardiac function, assist in the diagnosis and treatment of clinical CVDs and evaluate prognosis is a problem to be solved urgently. In response to this issue, based on previous work of Cardiac Cine Magnetic Resonance (CCMR) image segmentation of the left myocardium (LVM), a robust and accurate LVM motion tracking method (DispFlow_UNet_Flow) with using the displacement flow UNet (DispFlow_UNet) and biomechanics-informed variational autoencoder (VAE) is proposed in this paper. The following are the main research contents: (1) building a compressed excitation residual U-net network to accurately segment LVM, calculating the ventricular volume and myocardial mass according to the segmentation results, and then evaluating the overall cardiac function; (2) reconstructing the dense displacement field (DDF) based on the proposed motion tracking method, and obtaining the LVM dense displacement field by combining the LVM segmentation mask; (3) contrasting and evaluating the motion tracking results by using the true displacement vector field of simulated data and clinical data sets. All the results show that the tracking algorithm proposed in this paper has high precision and generalization capability.

Here, we describe a novel mechanism of SIRT1-induced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) metastasis. SIRT1 overexpression was frequently detected in human HCC specimens and was associated with microvascular invasion ( P = 0.0039), advanced tumor node metastasis (TNM) stages ( P = 0.0016), HCC recurrence ( P = 0.021) and poor outcomes ( P = 0.039). Lentivirus-mediated knockdown of SIRT1 in MHCC97H cells reduced invasion and metastasis in vitro and in vivo . SIRT1 depletion attenuated mitochondrial biogenesis and adenosine triphosphate (ATP) production but did not affect epithelial-mesenchymal transition. Elevated SIRT1 expression strongly correlated with the upregulation of PGC-1α in HCC specimens, and ectopic expression of SIRT1 increased PGC-1α levels. In cell assays and an orthotopic transplantation model, PGC-1α overexpression reversed the inhibitory effects of SIRT1 depletion on invasion and metastasis by enhancing mitochondrial biogenesis. These findings reveal the involvement of SIRT1 in HCC metastasis and provide a rationale for exploring therapeutic targets against the SIRT1/PGC-1α axis.

A new photon-in/photon-out endstation at beamline 02B02 of the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility for studying the electronic structure of energy materials has been constructed and fully opened to users. The endstation has the capability to perform soft x-ray absorption spectroscopy in total electron yield and total fluorescence yield modes simultaneously. The photon energy ranges from 40 eV to 2000 eV covering the K-edge of most low Z-elements and the L-edge of 3d transition-metals. The new self-designed channeltron detector allows us to achieve good fluorescence signals at the low photon flux. In addition, we synchronously collect the signals of a standard reference sample and a gold mesh on the upstream to calibrate the photon energy and monitor the beam fluctuation, respectively. In order to cross the pressure gap, in situ gas and liquid cells for soft x-ray absorption spectroscopy are developed to study the samples under realistic working conditions.

As more knowledge discovery functions or sensing units for event detection are added to sensor devices in the Internet of Things (IoT), devices acquire big data that is bigger than they are able to deliver using their radios in a given time window. As a result, energy consumption for big data acquisition and transmission and real-time data processing are great challenges. In this paper, we introduce BigReduce, a low-cost IoT framework for event detection that reduces a big amount of data at the time of data acquisition and before the data transmission across the network. BigReduce works on the analysis of the frequency content of signals as they are acquired and efficiently adapts the frequency rate based on the sensitivity to a respective event, such as fire event. Instead of transmitting the entire set of acquired data, BigReduce transmits only the signals that have a high event-sensitivity. We provide a detailed algorithm for fire event sensitivity indication based on the frequency consents. Results achieved through a lab testbed show that BigReduce is able to reduce energy consumption by at least 78% and data volume by 82% in comparison to other frameworks.

The acid component in high-sulfur gas (HSG) is as high as 5%-15%, which will causes great security risk and has strong corrosive effect to the sweetening equipment. Therefore, productive process monitoring has important significance to ensure the system normal work and safety. However, due to the time lag shift of the operating parameters, static methods seem powerless. Thus, in this paper, we proposed a dynamic subspace model for HSG sweetening process monitoring. Specifically, we first introduce the operating parameters and time series as input candidate features, and get the dynamic expansion matrix by time-lag order analysis. Then we combined the matrix with static PCA model to achieve the process monitoring. The experiments on the actual data of a HSG sweetening plant show that, the false alarm rate (FAR) and missing alarm rate (MAR) of Hotelling T2 and Q statistic (SPE) in DPCA are much lower than those of PCA. In particular, compared to PCA, the SPE MAR in DPCA reduced by 13.42%, and the T2 MAR in DPCA is 4 times lower than that of PCA. Therefore, the proposed monitoring method for HSG sweetening process is efficient and feasible.

In order to support the TiO2 based photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants at night or in non-transparent wastewater, we successfully synthesized a novel ultraviolet emitting long lasting phosphor (Zn2SiO4:Ga3+, Bi3+) using a solid state method. The long lasting phosphorescence spectra were adjusted by changing the Bi3+ co-doping concentrations and the 22-63.18% of the spectral areas can well match the absorption band of TiO2. The long lasting phosphorescence of the optimal Zn2SiO4:Ga3+, Bi3+ sample was detected for more than 4 h. Therefore, the Zn2SiO4:Ga3+, Bi3+ a valuable ultraviolet long lasting phosphor that may be used as an extra light source for promoting TiO2 photocatalysis. (C) 2014 Elsevier B.V. Specialist predation is believed to play a crucial role in maintaining biodiversity of ecosystems, whereas its underlying mechanism is still unclear. Here we analyzed a general model of a tritrophic system containing specialist predators. A new graphical approach based on the balance of resource recruitment and consumption was used. The analyses show that specialist predation can promote coexistence of producer species by increasing resource availability, which waken the exploitive competition between producers. TheR* rule, the dominant rule in traditional resource competition theory, is still dominant in infertile environment. In rich environment, the occurrence of specialist predator increases the equilibrium resource concentration and thus leads to the coexistence of the weak competitor. In high resource productivity environment all the species can coexist.

Mobile Labs (M-Labs) are a mobile enabled version of E-Labs, which is a new way to deliver engineering laboratories based on the advanced Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and rapid development of portable devices. With the M-Remote-Labs, which use the real world physical laboratories and remote control technology along with interfaces in mobile devices, students can conduct experiments using mobile devices at anytime from anywhere in a similar way that they conduct these experiments in physical laboratories. This can bring in great convenience to students and further enhance students' engagement. This paper presents a conceptual design of M-remote-Labs based on a university campus Wi-Fi network. This M-Remote-Lab includes three major parts, (i) the back-end physical experimental systems along with the remote control facilities, (ii) a sub-system for students to conduct engineering experiments remotely using mobile devices based on a hybrid structure, which combines the Browser/Server (B/S) structure and the Client/Server (C/S) structure for students to conduct experiments; (iii) a sub-system for teaching staff to manage the experiments based on a B/S structure. The control of devices and equipment will be realized by a mobile interface. The experimental results will be captured by cameras and transferred to the server and then sent to the mobile interface upon request as video files. An example of using this M-Remote-lab for the course of Bachelor of Engineering Major in Automation in the Beijing Institute of Technology China is described. It can be seen from this example that this M-Remote-Lab can provide great convenience for students to conduct real physical experiments remotely using mobile devices, just like they do the experiments in a real physical laboratory.

The purpose of this paper is to design evaluation index system and analyze the intensive land use of so as to provide reference for economical and intensive land use of industry. The methods used include synthesis evaluation and Delphi method. Results show that the total land use intensity score is 73.26 in eight industry development zones of Qinzhou City which reached the level of pass. Conclusion is that the degree of industrial land intensive use is overall in the level of inefficient use in Qinzhou and the use intensity of industry is not high. Land supply rate, comprehensive volume rate and integrated volume rate of industrial land are major factors to affect industrial of Qinzhou City, which could be pathways to improve the land intensive use level in development zone. Promote the land intensive use in development zone of Qinzhou City through strengthening the land management of new entrant enterprises, strict access mechanism, rational planning and control land structure of development zone.

Mastitis comprises an inflammation of the mammary gland, which is almost always linked with bacterial infection. The treatment of mastitis concerns antimicrobial substances, but not very successful. On the other hand, anti-inflammatory therapy with Chinese traditional medicine becomes an effective way for treating mastitis. Magnolol is a polyphenolic binaphthalene compound extracted from the stem bark of Magnolia sp., which has been shown to exert a potential for anti-inflammatory activity. The purpose of this study was to investigate the protective effects of magnolol on inflammation in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced mastitis mouse model in vivo and the mechanism of this protective effects in LPS-stimulated mouse mammary epithelial cells (MMECs) in vitro. The damage of tissues was determined by histopathology and myeloperoxidase (MPO) assay. The expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines was determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB), inhibitory kappa B (IκBα) protein, p38, extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK), c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK), and Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) were determined by Western blot. The results showed that magnolol significantly inhibit the LPS-induced TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-1β production both in vivo and vitro. Magnolol declined the phosphorylation of IκBα, p65, p38, ERK, and JNK in LPS-stimulated MMECs. Furthermore, magnolol inhibited the expression of TLR4 in LPS-stimulated MMECs. In vivo study, it was also observed that magnolol attenuated the damage of mastitis tissues in the mouse models. These findings demonstrated that magnolol attenuate LPS-stimulated inflammatory response by suppressing TLR4/NF-κB/mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling system. Thereby, magnolol may be a therapeutic agent against mastitis.

In recent years, as network information technology has increasingly advanced, there is a growing trend of people using electronic devices. With the rise of social network services (SNSs), people are using SNSs more frequently, SNSs have gradually replaced many traditional methods of contacting, such as sending e-mails, typing text messages, or chatting on the phone. However, current commercially-available SNSs pair strangers randomly and they are unable to conduct further understandings on particular subjects. In order to solve this problem, this study introduces the small-world phenomenon and the concept of network density to implement "Want You" SNS, this system can calculate on how many people it takes to get to know the stranger one would like to know, and presents the calculated results to the user. Moreover, our questionnaire administered to participants of the study found that Want You is a fairly useful SNS for the public, as it allows users to see the correlations between strangers in social networks and increases the success rate of meeting strangers through correlations to expand interpersonal relationships.

Resonant tunneling transistors have received wide attention because of their ability to reduce the complexity of circuits, and promise to be an efficient candidate in ultra-high speed and ultra-high frequency applications. The chemical compatibility between graphene and graphdiyne implies that they can be combined into various configurations to fulfill ultra-high frequency nanotransistor. In the present paper, two novel resonant tunneling transistors based on graphene/graphdiyne/graphene double-heterojunction are theoretically developed to model two new kinds of bipolar devices with two representative graphdiyne nanoribbons. The electronic structures of two pristine graphdiyne nanoribbons are investigated by performing the first-principles calculations with all-electron relativistic numerical-orbit scheme as implemented in Dmol3 code. The electronic transport properties including quantum conductance (transmission spectrum) and electrical current varying with bias-voltage for each of the designed graphdiyne nanoribbon transistors are calculated in combination with non-equilibrium Green function formalism. The calculated electronic transmission and current-voltage characteristics of these transistors demonstrate that the current is dominantly determined by resonant tunneling transition and can be effectively controlled by gate electric field thereby representing the favorable negative-differential-conductivity, which is the qualified attribute of ultra-high frequency nanotransistor. It follows from the I-Ub variations explained by electronic transmission spectra that quantum resonance tunneling can occur in the proposed star-like graphdiyne (SGDY) and net-like graphdiyne (NGDY) nanoribbon transistors, with the resonance condition limited to a narrow bias-voltage range, leading to a characteristic resonant peak in I-Ub curve, which means the strong negative differential conductivity. Under a gate voltage of 4 V, when the bias-voltage rises up to 0.6 V (0.7 V), the Fermi level of source electrode aligns identically to the quantized level of SGDY (NGDY) nanoribbon channel, causing electron resonance tunneling as illustrated by the considerable transmission peak in bias window; once the source Fermi level deviates from the quantized level of SGDY (NGDY) channels at higher bias-voltage, the resonance tunneling transforms into ordinary electron tunneling, which results in the disappearing of the substantial transmission peak in bias window and the rapid declining of current. The designed SGDY and NGDY nanotransistors will achieve high-level negative differential conductivity with the peak-to-valley current ratio approaching to 4.5 and 6.0 respectively, which can be expected to be applied to quantum transmission nanoelectronic devices.

The component array is a group of components that implement the same functions but provide different qualities. These component implementations can be switched at runtime for satisfying different user requirements and coping with environment changes. However, the design of component arrays is completely performed by hands of developers, which is complex, time-consuming, error-prone, and is poor at keeping up with the actual runtime conditions. This paper presents a scenario-driven state-based approach to modeling component arrays for satisfying requirements of predictable qualities. The automation of four vital steps of this approach is dependent on the interaction based modeling and state-machine based modeling. The approach is illustrated with UML (Unified Modeling Language) and the demonstration and experimentation are implemented on JEE (Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition).

Performance test and fault prediction is the core challenge in building robust cloud computing platform. This paper converted fault prediction problem into a machine learning problem. Based on extracted software feature, software faults were predicted using support vector regression machine. Experimental results show that new method can improve the precision of fault prediction.

With the rapid expansion of negative information in the Internet, the content rating technology is developed. This paper proposed a rating supervision model based on content rating considering trust model. We firstly analyze the behavior and reputation of network entities from the following dimensions: data dimension, time dimension and application dimension, and then applied artificial neural network to construct the trust model referred to the trust relationship in human society network. At last, we proposed the rating supervision model based on the trust model. It is proved that the rating supervision model can not only meet the standard of PICS, but also take the behavior and reputation of network entities into consideration. As a result, the rating supervision model can provide a variety of security services to enhance the credibility of the information by combination of rating label and network entity reputation.

In this paper,the influence of ambient temperature on the performance of the semiconductor laser is systematically investigated in theory. We built the simulation model, and the simulation results indicated that Ambient temperature changes would affect the laser chip temperature, resulting in the laser vital parameters in simulation results.

Acid phosphatase activity was measured using an acid phosphatase-assay kit. Real-time polymerase chain reaction, Western blotting, and immunofluorescence detection were used to detect the protein and messenger RNA expression of YAP, YAP target genes, CCND1, cleaved PARP, and caspase3, Atg-3 and -5, and the LC3B protein.Results: YAP signaling may regulate cisplatin resistance in ovarian cancer cells by augmenting cellular autophagic flux. After knockdown of YAP-sensitized C13K cells to cisplatin by inducing a decrease in autophagy, YAP led to an increase in autophagy via enhancement of autolysosome degradation.Conclusion: YAP-mediated autophagy may play a protective role in cisplatin-resistant human ovarian cancer cells. Therefore, YAP-mediated autophagy should be explored as a new target for enhancing the efficacy of cisplatin against ovarian cancer and other types of malignancies. The idea of network digital watermarking comes from the audio digital watermarking, which plays an important role in traffic tracking. However, there are many problems in the existing watermarking schemes. For example, the selection of watermark embedding area is not combined very well with the characteristics of the data stream; the interaction between watermarks reduces the detection rate and the concealment. In this paper, we propose a method of using the Discrete Cosine Transform(DCT) domain to locate the watermarks. After the discrete cosine transform, we select the lower energy area for discrete embedding watermarks. This is a novel attempt for the DCT in network watermarking. The experimental results show that the proposed method DCTBWL (Discrete Cosine Transform Based Watermarking Locating) can effectively improve the concealment and robustness of the watermarks in network flow. Introduction With the rapidly development of internet, network security issues have become more and more seriously. Stepping stone[1], anonymous communication system and botnet[3] make it very hard to trace the attacker. In order to better solve the above problems, many scholars have put forward the active network flow watermark(ANFW) technology by drawing on the idea of digital watermarking[2]. Some special information will be hidden through changing some characteristics of the flow generated from the sender. After the network transmission, if the corresponding watermark is detected at the receiver, it is considered that there is an obvious network communication relationship between the sender and the receiver. This is a kind of active network flow shaping and analysis technology. Nowadays the embedding of watermarks always have nothing to do with the content of the packets. According to the different watermark carrier, ANFW technology mainly includes traffic rate[4], packet timing[5] and interval centroid[6~8]. However, the existing methods are not perfect, there are some problems as following: 1), the selection of watermark embedding area is not very well combined with the characteristics of the data stream. For example, the offset in [6] and [7] is only considered the time aspect and the characteristic of the flow is neglected. 2), The watermarks are embedded in a continuous area, when the front of the stream appears to be inserted or lost, all of the watermarks behind will be affected. Which result in the decrease of the watermark detection rate([5~8]). 3), It is easy for attacker to recognize the abnormity when a continuous area of data has been changed. With the low concealment, watermarks are easy to be removed or damaged. Such as the exploration for ICBW and IBW[9,10], or the exploration for DSSS-W[11,12]. Based on the above problems exist in the current watermarking schemes, in this paper, we propose a new method for network watermark location by using the discrete cosine transform(DCT). The experimental results show that this method has more robust and better concealment. The rest of this paper is organized as follows: Section 2 analyzes the feasibility of the application of DCT in network watermarking as well as the process in detail. The experimental results validating the analysis are presented in Section 4. Extracting an feature of network flow as an input signal, and then we could have the distribution of its energy by DCT. Aiming at the problem that traditional Meanshift algorithm can not guarantee tracking accuracy in certain interference or occlusion case and background pixel in object model will induce localization error,a improved targets tracking algorithm based on Meanshift algorithm was proposed.Firstly,the object model is improved by introducing weights which is decided by divisional degree between object and background,and then the weight was used in object model to reduce the localization error of object tracking.Secondly,the target in the tracking window is divided into a number of fragments,the improved Mean Shift algorithm is used in every fragments separately.Finally,the match degree of each fragment is computed and the fragment with the highest match degree is involved to achieve the whole target's coordinates and to avoid the influence of occluded fragments on the object location.Experimental results show that the new method can effectively and accurately track moving target in the cluttering background.

The carrier transport and recombination in light-emitting diodes(LEDs) determine the non-uniform intensity and distribution of the internal heat source.The non-uniform temperature field also influences the carrier transport and recombination in LEDs.Thus the carrier transport and recombination are strongly coupled with temperatures.In this paper,the internal quantum efficiency,spectrum characteristic and photoelectric conversion efficiency of LEDs with substrates of sapphire,Si and SiC are systematically studied by a non-isothermal multi-physics-field coupling model.It is shown that the LED with SiC substrate has the smallest efficiency droop effect and exhibits the highest spectrum intensity and photoelectric conversion efficiency,among the LEDs with substrates of sapphire,Si and SiC.This is because the LED with the substrate of SiC has the best thermal dissipation capability,thus the non-uniform temperature field has the smallest effect on the carrier transport and recombination,leading to the significantly enhanced carrier concentration in the active region and decreased current leakage.
