This article presents a study on the development in the theory and application of the Z-numbers, since its inception in 2011. The review covers: a) formalization of Z-number based mathematical operators, b) role of Z-numbers in Computing With Words, decision-making and trust modeling, c) application of Znumbers in real-world problems like multisensor data fusion, dynamic controller design, safety analytics and natural language understanding, d) brief comparison with conceptually similar paradigms, and e) some potential areas of future investigation. The paradigm currently has at least four extensions to its definition multidimensional Z-numbers, parametric Z-numbers, hesitant-uncertain linguistic Z-numbers and Z*-numbers. The Z-numbers have also been used in conjunction with rough sets and granular computing for enhanced uncertainty handling. While, this decade has seen a plethora of theoretical initiatives towards its growth, there remains major work-scope in the direction of practical realization of the paradigm. Some challenges yet unresolved are: a) automated translation of (imprecise, sarcastic, and metaphorical) linguistic expressions to their Z-number forms, b) discernment of probability-possibility distributions to map realworld situations under consideration, c) analysis of linguistic equivalents of Z-operator results to intuitive human responses, d) the endogenous arousal of belief in intelligent agents, and e) analysis of biases embedded in expert-belief values that are primary inputs to Z-number based expert systems. After a decade of the Z-numbers, the paradigm has proved to be of use in expertinput based decision-making systems and initial value problems. Its applicability in high-risk, high-precision areas like deep sea exploration and space science, remains unexplored. have also been used in conjunction with rough sets and granular computing for enhanced uncertainty handling. The great success of deep learning poses urgent challenges for understanding its working mechanism and rationality. The depth, structure, and massive size of the data are recognized to be three key ingredients for deep learning. Most of the recent theoretical studies for deep learning focus on the necessity and advantages of depth and structures of neural networks. In this paper, we aim at rigorous verification of the importance of massive data in embodying the out-performance of deep learning. To approximate and learn spatially sparse and smooth functions, we establish a novel sampling theorem in learning theory to show the necessity of massive data. We then prove that implementing the classical empirical risk minimization on some deep nets facilitates in realization of the optimal learning rates derived in the sampling theorem. Creative leadership has been studied in different collaborative contexts that can be summarized as facilitating employees' creativity, directing the realization of the creative vision of a leader and integrating different and diverse creative contributions. In this paper, we present the findings from a qualitative meta-analysis of literature-based accounts of chefs' creative leadership practices from the context of haute cuisine. We bring together both the leader-chefs' and academic authors' understandings of practices available in scholarly papers to achieve a credible picture of creative leadership practices in haute cuisine. We present our findings as a meta-vignette introducing nine prototypical characters representing patterns of practices that leader-chefs perform as they are fostering creativity. We further demonstrate when and how leader-chefs employ practices that are more typical of facilitating and integrating contexts. The nine characters afford an immediate intuitive understanding of the creative leadership practices in haute cuisine, helping scholars to look for and analyse creative leadership and support creative leaders to understand better and be more mindful of their practices.

Our brain can be recognized as a network of largely hierarchically organized neural circuits that operate to control specific functions, but when acting in parallel, enable the performance of complex and simultaneous behaviors. Indeed, many of our daily actions require concurrent information processing in sensorimotor, associative, and limbic circuits that are dynamically and hierarchically modulated by sensory information and previous learning. This organization of information processing in biological organisms has served as a major inspiration for artificial intelligence and has helped to create in silico systems capable of matching or even outperforming humans in several specific tasks, including visual recognition and strategy-based games. However, the development of human-like robots that are able to move as quickly as humans and respond flexibly in various situations remains a major challenge and indicates an area where further use of parallel and hierarchical architectures may hold promise. In this article we review several important neural and behavioral mechanisms organizing hierarchical and predictive processing for the acquisition and realization of flexible behavioral control. Then, inspired by the organizational features of brain circuits, we introduce a multi-timescale parallel and hierarchical learning framework for the realization of versatile and agile movement in humanoid robots.

In recent years, music teaching in higher education has developed quickly, and attracted more and more attention. However, there is not yet a mature method to evaluate the education and teaching (ET) effect of music teaching in colleges. To solve the problem, this paper combines modern information technology and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation (FCE) to design and realize a FCE system for assessing the ET effect of music teaching in higher education. Firstly, the functional and non-functional requirements of the system were analyzed in detail. On this basis, the overall architecture and functional modules of the system were designed and realized. Application results show that the proposed system operated stably, and met the needs of ET effect evaluation. The research results are of theoretical and practical significance to the promotion of information-based teaching evaluation, the enhancement of management efficiency and quality, and the improvement of ET effect of music teaching in colleges.

The development of information technology has led to the rapid development of modern book packaging design. Book packaging design is different from painting. It is a kind of design process that combines artistry and practicality and has double characteristics. With the continuous progress of society, people’s requirements for book packaging design have become higher and higher, and modern book packaging design has become an important topic in the field of art design. To this end, this paper introduces the machine learning algorithms used in this paper, including the AdaBoost algorithm and the SVR algorithm. Specifically, it includes the principles and specific implementation steps for AdaBoost classification algorithm and SVR regression algorithm, as well as evaluation indexes of AdaBoost classification and SVR regression analysis. Realization of physical books reflects artistry, creativity, professionalism, popularity, and vitality of books in the packaging and design of books in the electronic information era. The stimulation effect of this paper starts from packaging design, inspection mechanism, and brand psychology to get the superior design in modern book packaging design.

In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in the study of research abstracts and its rhetorical structure. While the number of studies in rhetorical moves of RA abstracts are growing, there is still little attention given to thesis and dissertation abstracts especially in relation to the link between genre knowledge and its rhetorical realization. The present study aims to identify the variations of rhetorical move manifestation in abstracts of master’s theses and dissertations written by local and international graduate lecturers and explore the relationship between the manifestations and the author’s genre knowledge development. This study employed a qualitative approach with Hyland’s (2000) five-move analysis model as the main framework of the study. The findings revealed that there were similarities in the rhetorical structure of abstracts by the local and international graduates. The study also found that educational level and supportive academic environment play an important role in author’s genre knowledge trajectories. The findings discovered in the study provide a clearer picture to help in the development of a universal guideline for abstract writing in final papers for higher education.

An allegorical thought experiment occurring in a pseudo Huxleyean world in the future is conducted, in which "Euclidean" geometry has been forgotten and can only be retrieved by traversing backward in time, physically and virtually by two protagonists, Alpha and Beta, inspired by the challenge issued by their teacher Aleph 1. In the year 136 A.H (After Huxley, or late twenty-first century of the Common Era), all instruction occurs virtually. Mathematics is the exclusive purview of 0.01% of society (the alphas). The thought experiment leads to the discovery and realization from the two protagonists that Euclidean geometry is possible using sensorimotor functions with tools called a straight edge and compass or simply a rope with knots. As an ode to Aldous Huxley (1894-1963) this article is deliberately in the form of a satirical provocation that examines the interaction of technology with the learning of mathematics in a dystopian future. A prolog explaining the context of the thought experiment along with a coda with implications for the immediate future in the learning of mathematics is made. A glossary with terms unfamiliar to the reader is also provided.

In this study, a novel design of smartphone endoscope adapter is introduced. The different parts of the proposed adapter are firstly designed in consideration of the use of flashlight smartphones as the light source in order to securely fit the endoscope with the smartphone. The entire system combining Smartphone and endoscope via this adapter is then designed in 3D. As a result, Simulation shows strong results in terms of fitting this system. The prototype of the proposed adapter is printed by the 3D printer and is then tested by combining Karl Storz endoscope of 0°, 4mm, 50mm, and iPhone 6s. The inner hand can be considered as dark interior as similar of the nose, ear, etc., is chosen to make this test, in which the significant photo with acceptable color and resolution is obtained. It can be concluded that this system provides a good benefit of its use in continuous development countries (LMICs) and in difficult times such as COVID-19 so that the health care providers can easily share these photos between specialists themselves or and with the patient through the internet especially for the accuracy treatment. © 2021 Seventh Sense Research Group®.

To respond to the needs of digital transformation, universities must continue to play their role as proving ground for educating the future generation and innovation. The article is devoted to overview, discussion, and investigation of application in higher education of two modern information technologies: big data and internet of things. The article identifies the role of analytics, based on big data, in improvement of education process and outlines the challenges, related with big data mining, storage, and security. Proposed statements are based on practical experience of the authors; architecture of program and methodological solution are the focus of the article. The article contributes to theory by the new approach to combination of big data and internet of things technologies in educational resources and, at the same time, includes implications for practice, presenting examples of the approach's realization and sharing the authors' experiences of such realization.

The global pandemic of COVID-19 has affected the lives of millions around the globe. We learn new facts about this corona virus every day. A contribution to this knowledge is described in the paper and it is related to employment of memristor neural networks and algorithms that help us analyze patients’ data and determine what patients are at increased risk for developing severe medical conditions once infected with the COVID-19. An efficient separation of potential patients in ill and healthy sub-groups is conducted using software and hardware neural networks, machine learning and unsupervised clustering. In the recent years, many works are related to reducing of neural chips area for the hardware realization of neural networks. For this purpose, a partial replacement of CMOS transistors in neural networks by memristors is made. Some of the main memristor advantages are its lower power consumption, nano-scale sizes, sound memory effect and a good compatibility to CMOS technology. In this reason, the main purpose of this paper is application of a memristor-based neural network with tantalum oxide memristor synapses for COVID-19 analysis. Additional experiments with data clustering are conducted. Experiments show that in fact patients with specific underlying health conditions and indicators are more predisposed to develop severe COVID-19 illness. This paper presents the topical issue of the role of aggressive domestic and foreign policy of the German rulers of the XIII century. According to the plot of the epic poem «Kudrun», at the heart of the aggressive domestic and foreign policy of the German rulers is a global conflict involving man and the world, people and their religious worldview, the hierarchy of relations of the individual, wildlife and descendants of the «elite», king, queen and the authority of the church, upbringing and education, the beauty of a young woman and the hostility of a man, the jealousy of a brave old king-father and the cruelty of an elderly woman-queen-mother, and so on. Oppositions are also found in the categories of «one’s own» and «foreign», good and evil, old and new, earthly and unearthly, material and ideal, perfect and imperfect, living and inanimate, free from slavery and enslaved, bodily, mental and spiritual, mind and emotions. There is a bifurcation of the whole objective world into its physical existence and meaning. At the same time, the ideal behavior of knights is transformed – the support of German kings. There are relationships – «knight – thief, robber», «knight – barbarian», «knight – animal». Aggressive human behavior as a social being has a moral character. In the question of immorality, the medial man is influenced by ancient psychology, paganism and Christianity. The aim of the article is to identify German language units with the meaning of aggression in the Middle Ages. The study used deductive, structural-semantic, logical-semantic, contextual analysis, the method of linguistic description and analysis of dictionary definitions. The results of the study include clarification of the concept of «aggression», tracing its semantic content in time, highlighting the system of language units such as word, proper name, phrase (free and permanent), sentence (simple, complex, complex, combined, supra-phrase unity) and elucidation of the peculiarities of the formation of the phenomenon. It has been proven that aggression can be natural or artificial. Natural aggression is characteristic of the element of water, wild animals and man as a biological being, artificial – man as a social being and supernatural beings who embody evil.Aggression correlates with gender, age and culture: a man is aggressive at any age and in any culture, a woman – only in old age, being in the status of a mother who wishes her child a happy fate and being a foreigner. We conclude that the concept of aggression in medieval Germany is associated primarily with extralinguistic factors (religion, domestic and foreign policy, social, economic and cultural-historical development), refracted verbally by the author of the epic poem «Kudrun».Key words: the Middle ages, aggression, man, animal, element, word, proper name, phrase, sentence. Згідно з фабулою епічної поеми «Кудруна», в підвалинах агресивної внутрішньої і зовнішньої політики германських можновладців лежить глобальний конфлікт, що включає в себе людину і навколишній світ, людей і їхній релігійний світогляд, ієрархію стосунків індивідуума, диких тварин і нащадків «еліти», авторитет короля, королеви й авторитет церкви, виховання й освіту, красу молодої жінки й ворожість чоло-віка, ревнощі сміливого літнього короля-батька й жорстокість літньої жінки-королеви-матері тощо. Опозиції виявляємо і в категоріях «свого» й «чужого», добра й зла, старого й нового, земного й неземного, матеріального й ідеального, досконалого й недосконалого, живого й неживого, вільного від рабства й поневоленого, тілесного, душевного й духовного, розуму й емоцій. Відбувається роздвоєння цілісного предметного світу на його фізичне буття і значення. Разом з цим трансформується ідеальна поведінка лицарів – опори германських королів. Виникають нові співвідношення – «лицар – злодій, розбійник», «лицар – варвар», «лицар – тварина». Агресивна поведінка людини як соціальної істоти має моральний характер. У питанні про аморальність медіальна людина перебуває під впливом античної психології, язичництва та християнства. Метою статті є виявлення німецьких мовних одиниць зі значенням агресивності в середні віки. В ході дослідження було використано дедуктивний, структурно-семантичний, логіко-семантичний, контекстуальний аналізи, метод лінгвістичного опису та аналіз словникових дефініцій. Результати дослідження охоплюють уточнення поняття «агресивність», простеження його смислового наповнення на часовому зрізі, виокремлення системи мовних одиниць як-от слово, власна назва, словосполучення (вільне й стале), речення (просте, складне, ускладнене, комбіноване, надфразова єдність) та з’ясування особливостей формування феномену. Доведено, що агресивність може бути природною та штучною. Природна агресивність характерна стихії води, диким тваринам і людині як біологічній істоті, штучна – людині як соціальній істоті та надприродним істотам, що втілюють у собі зло. Агресивність корелює зі статтю, віком і культурою: чоловік – агресивний у будь-якому віці та в будь-якій культурі, жінка – лише в літньому віці, перебуваючи в статусі матері, яка бажає своїй дитині щасливої долі та будучи іноземкою. Висновуємо, що поняття агресивності в середньовічній Німеччині пов’язане насамперед з позамовними чинни-ками (релігія, внутрішня і зовнішня політика, соціальний, економічний і культурно-історичний розвиток), заломленими автором епічної поеми «Кудруна» вербально.Ключові слова: середні віки, агресивність, людина, тварина, стихія, слово, власна назва, словосполучення, речення.

Novelty detection aims to identify novel instances in the test data that differ in some respect from the normal instances in the training data. Novel instances may be defined and interpreted in different ways. We consider a specific interpretation where novel instances are instances from unknown classes which are not seen during the training phase. This is also sometimes referred to as open world classification or open set recognition. A key challenge in this scenario is to design approaches that effectively classify normal instances and reject the classification of novel instances. Three-way decisions may be realized as a useful strategy to deal with this challenge. It provides provision for deferring the decisions of classifying objects whenever the available evidence is not enough. The deferred cases may be realized as novel or unknown since their classification results are not known and not available. Three-way clustering is an important three-way decision model which can be used for the classification of objects by considering classes as clusters in the data. In this paper, we introduce a three-way clustering based algorithm called reduction and elevation based three-way clustering for open world classification or RE3OWC. A three-way cluster consists of a pair of core and support sets. The RE3OWC uses the operations of reduction and elevation to define the core and support of a three-way cluster. The two sets lead to the three regions of inside, partial and outside corresponding to a cluster. The three regions provide the realization of three-way decisions and are used to identify instances from the unknown classes. Experimental results on datasets of 20 Newsgroups and Amazon reviews suggest improvements in commonly and widely used F1 measure by up to 2.3% and 6.5%, respectively, in comparisons to some of the best known available approaches of DOC, cbsSVM, openMax and others, for identifying instances from unknown classes.

Widespread research is being conducted on computational materials. The challenge for the realization of computational materials is how to weave computers into everyday objects consisting of various shapes and form factors. One idea to achieve this vision is to build physical computational particles that can cooperatively communicate among others and, thereby, change the whole shape like clay. Wireless communication and power transfer are keys to making such computing particles happen. Thus, we introduce an approach to embody these particles using multiple tiny IC chips, which wirelessly cooperate with each other. This article shows the current state-of-the-art wireless communication and power transfer technologies integrated into IC chips to achieve fine-grained shape deformation of computers. Moreover, this article also presents recent trends and future directions in shape-changing human–computer interfaces research.

As a result of the exploration of various studies, and concepts involved, in this review article, it is intended to manifest the theme referred to around self-efficacy and digital competence in university students, circumscribing the study in one of the most outstanding scenarios of the last century, concluding that the binomial self-efficacy and digital competence made possible the development and realization of educational practice in these last two semesters in Peruvian higher education.

When using information technologies, it is necessary to strive for the realization of all the potentials of the individual - cognitive, moral, creative, communicative and aesthetic. Recently, teachers create and implement author's pedagogical software tools that reflect a certain subject area, to some extent implement the technology of its study, and provide conditions for the implementation of various types of educational activities. In order for these potentials to be realized at a sufficiently high level, it is necessary to have pedagogical competence in the field of information and educational technologies.

In the article the way of using information technology in the natural education is activated, such as computer modeling of chemical, physical or biological phenomenon processes, introduction into the educational process of the virtual laboratory works. The relevance of the introduction of virtual laboratories in educational practice is due, firstly, to the information challenges of the time, and secondly, the regulatory requirements for the organization of the educational process of general secondary and higher education. It is mentioned that the use of virtual laboratories in the educational process allows students to conduct experiments with equipment and materials that he is able to use due to lack of a real laboratory or its lack of technical content, get practical skills of conducting experiments of integrated natural direction initiating computer models and the process of operation of unique equipment of chemical, physical, biological laboratory, to study dangerous in the real situation processes and phenomena of natural origin, without fear of possible consequences. The article reveals the advantages and disadvantages of using a virtual laboratory workshop during the study of natural sciences. Possibilities of modern virtual laboratories of a natural direction which allow to model objects and processes of the surrounding world and also to organize computer access to the real laboratory equipment. The possibility of realization of a virtual laboratory workshop on chemical disciplines of the natural cycle in the environment of a virtual simulator of the laboratory IrYdiumChemistryLab is shown. This virtual laboratory involves the formulation of specific tasks or the formation of its own strategy for planning the experiment,the resource immediately differs in the ability to intervene in the program and design your own virtual experiment Created on the basis of IrYdiumChemistryLab virtual laboratory works allow to prepare diluent of various concentrations, to calculate and measure concentrations of ions in solutions of strong and weak electrolytes, to titrate, etc. Virtual laboratories must be present in the practice of teaching natural sciences (chemistry, physics, biology). The need to use a virtual laboratory workshop during distance learning is especially relevant.

The article deals with the implementation of communicative exercises in foreign language classes to improve the foreign language speaking competence of prospective teachers. The relevance of the article is determined by the need to consider the outlined problem for increasing the level of English language proficiency in order to personal and career prospects of prospective teachers. The purpose of the article is a theoretical and practical justification for the use of communicative exercises in the study of English in foreign language classes for prospective teachers in higher education. To achieve this goal it is necessary to solve the following tasks: 1)to analyze the efficiency of using communicative tasks to improve students’ foreign language speaking competence; 2)to offer exercises for communication, which provide for the creation of life situations of foreign language communication; 3)to substantiate the efficiency of using these exercises to improve foreign language speaking competence of future teachers. To achieve this purpose the following research methods are used in the scientific article: generalization, analysis and synthesis, descriptive method, which allow to consider in detail the proposed problem and come to important conclusions. It is determined that the specificity of learning a foreign language is to create an artificial language environment, which is absent in practice in most cases. Foreign language space is extremely important for the realization of one of the factors influencing the acquisition of a foreign language – the speed of establishing associative language connections. It is found out that in the communicative environment both the conscious training of vocabulary and grammar, and the necessary language tools accumulate during communicative activities intuitively. The speed of appropriate language reactions, a sense of language are developed in this activity (phonetic, lexical, grammatical aspects). The permanent search for new teaching aids, the development of more effective methods of work are of practical importance for increasing the student’s motivation to learn a foreign language and automate the experience of its using. The proposed types of communication exercises create the most adequate conditions for the formation of language skills, stimulate the mechanisms of involuntary memorization, as well as provide for the solution of certain methodological, linguistic and psychological problems., Статтю присвячено проблемі імплементації комунікативних вправ на заняттях з іноземної мови для вдосконалення іншомовної мовленнєвої компетентності майбутніх педагогів. Визначено, що актуальність розвідки детерміновано затребуваністю розгляду окресленої проблеми для підвищення рівня оволодіння англійською мовою з метою особистісних і кар’єрних перспектив майбутніх педагогів. Мета статті – теоретико-практичне обґрунтування використання комунікативних вправ під час вивчення англійської мови на заняттях з іншомовної підготовки майбутніх педагогів у закладах вищої освіти. У статті проаналізовано доцільність застосування комунікативних завдань для вдосконалення іншомовної мовленнєвої компетентності студентів; запропоновано вправи на комунікацію, що передбачають створення життєвих ситуацій іншомовного спілкування; обґрунтовано ефективність використання цих вправ для вдосконалення іншомовної мовленнєвої компетентності майбутніх педагогів. Для реалізації окресленої мети в науковій статті використано такі методи дослідження: узагальнення, аналіз і синтез, описовий метод, що дозволили детально розглянути запропоновану проблему та дійти обґрунтованих висновків щодо специфіки вивчення іноземної мови через систему комунікативних вправ. З’ясовано, що постійний пошук нових засобів викладання, розробка більш ефективних прийомів роботи мають практичне значення в підвищенні мотивації до вивчення іноземної мови та автоматизації досвіду її вживання. Запропоновані види комунікативних вправ створюють найбільш сприятливі умови для формування мовних навичок, стимулюють механізми мимовільного запам’ятовування, а також передбачають одночасне вирішення певних методичних, лінгвістичних і психологічних завдань.

Critical scholars of Corporate Responsibility (CR) argue that one way to make CR good for society would be to demand its full realization in subversive interventions, in line with the critical performativity objective of subversion of managerial discourses and practices. This paper studies CR-oriented performative documentary films, in which the main protagonists problematize business impacts on society through various interventions aimed to have effects on: (1) themselves; (2) the corporations they target; (3) the surrounding society; and (4) the viewers of the films. 23 documentary films that target corporate responsibilities through a range of interventions are studied, and eight different kinds of effects they have are analyzed. The documentaries are found to be enactments of critical performativity that resignify CR, through subversive interventions involving: (1) staged embodiments of subject positions; (2) the staging of felicitous conditions; (3) effective roles, genres and tropes; and (4) the use of ‘enlightened failed performatives’.

Pirmoje straipsnio dalyje pateikiamos informacinių ir komunikacinių technologijų (IKT) naudojimo suaugusiųjų švietimo procese teorinės įžvalgos. Analizuojama IKT taikymo švietimo procese reikšmingumas, švietimo portalų, mokomųjų programų, „Google“ paieškos sistemos naudojimo funkcinės galimybės, pristatomas IKT realizavimo suaugusiųjų švietime teorinis modelis. Antroji straipsnio dalis skirta empiriniam tyrimui, siekiant pristatyti besimokančių suaugusiųjų požiūrį į naudojimąsi „Google“ sistema, kaip paskiro IKT taikymo suaugusiųjų švietime vieneto funkcines galimybes. The first paragraph is dedicated to theoretical insights into the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in in the process of adult education. It analyzes the significance of ICT application in educational process, functional capabilities of the use of educational portals, educational programs, Google service system in educational process and presents the theoretical model of the realization of ICT in adult education. The second part of the paragraph is devoted to empirical research in order to present the approach of adult learners to the use of Google service system as the possibility of functional application of a separate ICT unit in adult education. The article conceptualizes the realization vista of ICT in adult education. The investigation reveals the aspects of services of Google system as ICT, its usage and realization.

The introduction of attribute-based encryption (ABE) targets to achieve the implementation of single-to-numerous encryption; however, the sole authority challenge and the issue of distributed management of attributes are bottlenecks to its realization. Multi-authority attribute-based encryption (MA-ABE) where various attribute authorities (which may be independent of each other) control different attribute universe and are involved in the administration of attribute keys for decryption provides the necessary platform to undertake the implementation of fine-grained access regulation over shared data while achieving single-to-numerous encryption. In recent years, research into MA-ABE has seen rapid advancement, and we believe that it is a suitable solution to thwarting the key escrow problem as well as the problem of distributed management of attributes. This paper offers a thorough survey and examines the state-of-the-art of some traditional ABE as well as multi-authority attribute-based encryption schemes over the past decade. Furthermore, the survey gives detailed insights on some essential techniques as well as some classic concretely constructed algorithms. Moreover, we discuss an extension (the different directions) of MA-ABE and its progress since its inception. We also provide design principles of MA-ABE and also show comparisons between existing works on areas as security, performance, and functionality. This paper also discusses several interesting open problems. As far as we can tell, no comparable survey on MA-ABE exists in literature so far.

The relationship between syntactic structure and prosodic structure has received increased theoretical attention in recent years. Richards (2010) proposes that Japanese allows wh-elements to stay in situ because of a certain aspect of its prosodic system. Specifically, in contrast to some other languages like English, Japanese can prosodically group wh-elements together with their licensers. This prosodic grouping is phonetically signaled by eradication or reduction of the lexical pitch accents of intervening words. In this theory, a question still remains as to whether each syntactic derivation is checked against its phonetic realization, or what allows Japanese wh-elements to stay in situ is more abstract phonological prosodic structure, whose phonetic manifestations can potentially be variable. This paper reports an experiment which addressed this question, by testing whether there is eradication or reduction of lexical pitch accents based on the detailed analysis of F0 contours. Our analysis makes use of a computational toolkit that allows us to assess the presence of tonal targets on a token-by-token basis. The results demonstrate that almost all speakers produce some wh-sentences which show reduction or eradication of the lexical pitch accents, as well as some that do not. Those tokens that show reduction or eradication directly support the prediction of Richards’ (2010) theory. The variability observed in the results suggests that the property of Japanese that allows their wh-elements to stay in situ must be abstract, phonological prosodic structure, whose phonetic realizations can vary within and across speakers. We discuss several possible mechanisms through which such phonetic variation can arise.

The article examines innovative aspects of distance learning of a foreign language using ICT in current epidemiological realities. The authors have analysed advantages of the introduction of ICT in distance learning of foreign languages as an effective technical visual and auditory tool and a mean of educational and cognitive activity of students, which helps to increase the motivation and desire of students to learn a foreign language. Means of increasing interactive and communicative activity in the process of learning foreign languages have been researched. The use of ICT in the educational process (foreign language teaching) makes it possible to bring something new to the usual forms of work of a teacher of higher education institution and a teacher of general secondary education, which contributes to discovering more interesting, more comprehensive and more complete innovative potential of distance learning. In this context, the use of ICT contributes to a clearer presentation of even complex learning material and thus allows to reduce learning time for successful mastering of topics. With the implementation of ICT (Zoom, Skype, Teams, etc.) in the process of distance learning of a foreign language, you can not only create an artificial foreign language environment, but also bring it closer to the natural, through the organization of communication with native speakers. Thanks to ICT in the process of distance learning it is possible to solve problems of learning foreign languages in cooperation, as well as individualization and differentiation of learning considering various factors: level of foreign language proficiency, speed of learning, time limits, learning style, personal educational needs and learning pathways etc.

This paper analyzes the relationship between the campus architectural environment and modern quality education, hoping to give some inspiration to the campus architectural environment design.

The realization of the Internet-of-Things (IoT) is a concept that is increasingly discussed as the result of networking a variety of “smart” electronic systems together to achieve high levels of automation and performance. Thus, the IoT is envisioned to enable everything from automated toast buttering for breakfast to fleets of autonomous vehicles co-existing on roads with human piloted vehicles and cooperating with their drivers. However, as more and more systems are linked together to form directed, acknowledged, collaborative, and virtual Systems-of-Systems (SoS), the exercise of control becomes problematic. Emergent properties, hostile agents, evolutionary and adaptive development, and other characteristics of systems will enable complex behaviors in SoS that are not part of the constituent systems. If information theory and cybernetics laws are not considered in the construction of SoS as part of the IoT, then the behaviors that will emerge can have destabilizing outcomes.

Recently, many retailers have rapidly increased cashless services. Customer guidance technology by providing advertisements and premiums linked with location information is drawing attention in cashless services using smartphones. While such technology is highly convenient, incidents such as the exploitation of premium points by disguising location information have occurred. It has become a major issue that shakes the reliability of cashless services and, in turn, affects the trust of the advanced information society that involves future financial services. In particular, the point acquisition service by visiting retail stores using smartphones has emerged as a real problem, with reports of cases of exploiting points by falsifying the location information of users who hold smartphones. This research will confirm the current location information spoofing attack method using smartphones for specific services and propose countermeasures.

The issues of application of projects implemented with the help of computer modeling within the framework of STEM-education, which is fundamentally different from traditional teaching, are considered. This system creates conditions for development and improvement of analytical and creative abilities of students, gives them an opportunity to try themselves in teamwork, and develops their independence in acquiring new knowledge. This type of activity contributes to the integration of academic subjects, the formation of students’ skills of using modern technologies and modeling in their activities. Independent creation of models gives students the opportunity to better understand the basic properties of objects, phenomena, processes, their studied components, and the relationship between them. The study of models develops in children the skills of analysis, synthesis, critical thinking, and methodical approach to content realization by means of computer modeling within the framework of project-based activities. The results of the research into the use of computer modeling as a means of implementing project activities in STEM-education are presented. The conception of the research was cross-cutting skills common for all key competencies would be formed among those who receive education after the STEM-projects implementation. Cross-cutting skills are formed in all subjects and are common to the key competencies. In the course of the study we have come to the conclusion that after the implementation of STEM-projects the distribution of cross-curricular skills common to all key competencies of education applicants has changed.

Recent research on the acoustic realization of affixes has revealed differences between phonologically homophonous affixes, e.g. the different kinds of final [s] and [z] in English (Plag, Homann & Kunter 2017, Zimmermann 2016a). Such results are unexpected and unaccounted for in widely accepted post-Bloomfieldian item-and-arrangement models (Hockett 1954), which separate lexical and post-lexical phonology, and in models which interpret phonetic effects as consequences of different prosodic structure. This paper demonstrates that the differences in duration of English final S as a function of the morphological function it expresses (non-morphemic, plural, third person singular, genitive, genitive plural, cliticizedhas, and cliticizedis) can be approximated by considering the support for these morphological functions from the words’ sublexical and collocational properties. We estimated this support using naïve discriminative learning and replicated previous results for English vowels (Tucker, Sims & Baayen 2019), indicating that segment duration is lengthened under higher functional certainty but shortened under functional uncertainty. We discuss the implications of these results, obtained with a wide learning network that eschews representations for morphemes and exponents, for models in theoretical morphology as well as for models of lexical processing.

To make production more competitive, the new factories need to be built according to the guidelines of smart factories. The existing literature describes different approaches how to plan and design the smart factories. Therefore, the paper presents a step-by-step methodology for efficient planning of smart factory from the initial idea to the final realization in the real environment. The methodology includes eight crucial steps, which covers organizing the workshops in the company, explaining terms and definitions commonly used for smart factories, analysing and defining the employee's competences and the technological level of the company, analysing the possibilities of integration of smart I4.0 technologies, developing of digital twins at different levels, designing the visualization and finally building the smart factory in a real environment. The methodology is designed according to the needs of several partners and manufacturers, which are collaborating within the various European projects related to the smart factories.

This research is motivated by the utterances of traders in the Atas market and Bawah markets of Muara Bungo, which have a good politeness value. In this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive approach in which data results were based on existing observations and interpretations. The data studied were the stories of traders recorded in the Atas and Bawah markets of Muara Bungo. After recording the data is transcribed and grouped based on the type of speaker. After that, the data will be analyzed in terms of compliance with and violations of the principles of decency according to Leech theory. The realization of courtesy of the Atas market traders and the Bawah markets in Muara Bungo both have a good politeness value. Through the author's observations, the Atas market traders are more friendly than the Bawah market.

The aim of the present study is to discover the optimal conditions, including organizational and legal conditions, for the introduction of blended learning in the higher education system. To achieve the defined objective, the authors analyze the legal regulations that govern the use of various forms of education in the higher education system in general and distance learning in particular and assess the need for the implementation of hybrid education in the Russian Federation at the present time. Based on the research carried out on normative acts, the authors conclude that distance education presents an educational technology and can, therefore, be used as a means of organizing the educational process in the realization of an educational program through any type of learning including the full form of time in accordance with the local regulations of the educational organization in question. It is demonstrated that the implementation of individual principles and approaches in international practice can contribute to the solution of the specific problems of implementation and use of blended learning.

Text linguistics is closely related to the teaching and theory of text. The shape of both is the same. The theory of the text selects the text from a structural and service side. In structural research, the text draws attention to the main areas. Connectedness is that it is correctly worded, incorrectly worded. What are the elements and what is the nature of the relationship between them? What does it do? it is taken to answer. Among the indicators of personal development of students, it is especially important to distinguish an educational component. He is connected with the tasks of deep development of his national culture and free mastery of his native language. In some cases, misunderstandings between the cultural and linguistic code can have a negative impact on the relationship between people, which is why many scientists are currently engaged in research on the interaction of cultural and linguistic codes. As the national cultural code is most clearly manifested in the literature, the authors of the article refer to the method of its study in a modern school. The leading idea of the article is connected with the identification of the educational potential of literary works for the realization of the tasks of spiritual revival.

Background: The objective of the present study was to specifically divide the various work performed by dental hygienists in clinical practice for legal amendments regarding problems associated with conflict between job roles and illegal delegation to establish key basic data for legislation and policy utilization for realization of legal scope of dental hygienists.Methods: The study used work reports drafted based on research methods in the “Second Job Analysis Report on Dental Hygienists” researched by the Korean Health Personnel Licensing Examination Institute in 2012 and “Opinions of Dentists on Actual and Legal Work of Dental Hygienists,” a report published by the Korean Dental Hygienists Association. Of these, the study focused on conservation dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and dental implant treatment, which make up some of the fields covered by dental hygiene practice, to investigate and analyzed work performed by clinical experience.Results: Analysis of work actually performed in dental practice showed that for work related to 33 items presented in the study methods, the participants responded that they are currently performing such work or are likely to perform such work in the future, although there were differences by year. Investigation by type of workplace showed that dental hygienists working in university hospitals could perform the work presented if they had ≥5 years of dental hygienist experience, whereas dental hygienists working in dental clinics or hospitals could perform simple duties in their first year and performed more diverse duties with greater degree of difficulty after their second to fourth year.Conclusion: The reality that medical assistance during surgical operations and various procedures that is still being performed is no longer legally protected directly contradicts the needs in dental practice, and thus, there is the need to amend laws that are realistic by clearly recognizing the work of dental hygienists.

A gépi beszéd előállításának egyik új vonulata az artikulációs beszédszintézis, ami a hangképzéshez kapcsolódó vizuális információk feldolgozásán alapszik. A hangképző szervek statikus és dinamikus geometriai paramétereinek pontos ismerete alapvető szerepet játszik a beszédszintézis megvalósításában. Ezen adatok vizuális kinyerésének alkalmas forrásai lehetnek a beszéd közben készült MRI- és UH-felvételek, melyek különböző geometriával jellemezhetők. Az UH-keretek képpontjai egy polárkoordináta-rendszer kijelölésével kezelhetők a legkényelmesebben, míg az MRIkeretek képpontjainak leírásához egy descartes-i koordináta-rendszer adhat megfelelő kiindulópontot. Mivel az UH-felvételeken nem látható a nyelv hátsó része és a nyelvhegy, így az MRI-hez képest csak részleges információt kaphatunk a nyelv mozgásáról. Ennélfogva fontos és egyben nem triviális feladat az MRI- és UH-források geometriájának összehangolása. A publikációban bemutatom a geometriai transzformációk egy lehetséges módját.

The purpose of the research was to study the attitude of students from the National Sports Academy “V. Levski”, Sofia, to foreign language learning in connection with their future profession as sport specialists, and their interest in using interactive learning techniques in the foreign language courses of the Academy. An enquiry was conducted at the end of the winter term of 2019-2020 academic year with students in the undergraduate programs of the Faculty of Pedagogy and the Faculty of Sport of the National Sports Academy. A questionnaire was used with 12 questions related to the evaluation of students’ foreign language learning needs and the most appropriate sources and strategies for language acquisition. The subjects of the study were 65 students, 44 men and 21 women, at the age of 19-20. The statistical methods used for the research were alternative analysis, variance analysis and Pearson’s chi-squared test (x{\displaystyle \chi ^{2}}χ²).The results from the study show that students are mostly interested in the practical application of foreign language learning. They need to develop their productive language skills - oral communicative and writing skills, in order to use the language directly. Computer games and activities in the internet can act as a close to natural environment enhancing language acquisition. Another important conclusion from the survey is that students recognize using foreign languages as an important part of their professional qualification with reference to future career development.

That way, short story literary works in the form of fairy tales are the author's imaginative world that is always related to social life. This study examined the prosodic realization of recurrent multiword combinations (RMC) in Mandarin spontaneous speech production and asked (a) whether speakers produce RMCs differently compared to novel combinations, and (b) how the RMC durational patterns are connected to its distributional properties and constituent structures. RMCs were first defined based on their distributional criteria in a large representative corpus, and a subset of these RMCs used in a phone-aligned spontaneous speech corpus were identified for the analyses of the relationship between their duration on one end and their distributional statistics (RMC frequency and lexical associations in two directions) and constituent structures (projected constituent level and boundary) on the other. The results suggest that Mandarin speakers are sensitive to the multifaceted multiword distributional properties, which are mediated by the constituent structures of RMCs. We discuss how these distinct durational patterns contribute to our understanding of the pragmatic and interactional role of multiword units in language processing and development.

Anne Carson é atualmente uma das mais aclamadas poetas, ensaístas, dramaturgas e tradutoras de língua inglesa, entretanto, a precisão destes termos se torna nebulosa diante da autora que tem como traço fundamental a mescla e desarticulação dos limites literários. Este procedimento marca Carson como alguém que pensa o literário a partir do ato tradutório, entendido por ela como a possibilidade de deixar duas realidades distintas visíveis, criando um ambíguo local que não pode existir, porém que é apresentado e performado a nossa frente. Dentro deste escopo, proponho olhar sua tradução da Antígona de Sófocles, titulada Antigonick, como um artefato de linguagem, uma partitura para realização de um ato de linguagem, para a realização do grito que chamamos de Antígona. Esta será pensada junto à tese de multiplicidade tradutória linguística presente em Borges, Cassin e Ricoeur, em que a tradução pode ser compreendida como um elogio ao múltiplo, como um saber se movimentar entre fronteiras e limites, um mover rumo a diferenças; fato que está presente na tentativa de Carson de traduzir algo distinto – o silêncio – de uma forma distinta – catástrofe –, de pensar outra possibilidade para aquela linguagem que fuja ao discursivo comum, dando voz a uma fúria contra o clichê e tendo como base a ololyga, grito ritual feminino da Grécia antiga, e as concepções da mulher como aquela que rompe limites por excelência, aquela que polui, que desloca e que toca com a voz. Por fim, a partir das concepções de Carson, argumento que a tradução e a performance são modos privilegiados para pensar o mundo, a multiplicidade e as diferenças.

Educational technologies are used as an effective tool in achieving educational objectives. In this research, it is aimed to examine teachers' opinions about the effectiveness level of digital technology in acquiring cognitive objectives. The research was conducted as the sequential explanatory mixed research design. “A questionnaire of technology beliefs for cognitive objectives” and semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers were applied. At the end of the research, it was concluded that teachers' views about the effectiveness of digital technologies in achieving cognitive objectives were generally high. The teachers think that smart boards and Web 2.0 are the most effective tools. Respectively computer, tablet pc, smartphone and Web 1.0 come next in that list. It has been seen that smart board and Web 2.0 technologies play an effective role in the acquisition of cognitive objectives by enabling the development of different parameters.

The features of the modern approach to the organization of working process in creative industries, where the key is the concept of “teal organization” distinctive quality characteristics of which are self-government and self-organization, implying independent implementation of the work processes and projects realization by the employees, have been considered. The rules of creating competent communication with the creative class, people who are the driving force of the creative economy, play an essential role in organizing the management of creative industries in modern society. The functioning of “teal organizations” exclusively within the framework of a creative economy, where the greatest value is the realization of the creative potential of the employee, has been examined in the article.

Recently, the idea of smart cities has made several strides forward in literature. Work has hypothesize that the combination of Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, and High powered computers will make technology more human-centric, even, the idea that smart cities will be able to understand the thought process of a human being seems very much likely today. This paper is along this line of thought. In particular, we try to present a method to model the cognitive state of human interest. This is done to take one more step towards the realization of a smart cognitive city. An approach which is Subjective-Objective in nature is presented to model the computation of activity inspired by interest. Based on activity, human latent state values are indirectly deduced. Inspiration is drawn from Physics and interest is modeled upon the Ornstein–Uhlenbeck (OU) process. Concepts of Adaptive filtering are used to formulate an evolving transformation function that automatically and adaptively models the conversion of interest into activity. Particle filter is employed to provide an elucidation which is computationally feasible. To validate the viability of the method, experimentation is performed with real datasets.

Modern technical innovations are marked by an extremely powerful symbiosis with scientific achievements. Today, there are a number of technologies that can reproduce human thinking and such skills as understanding complex information, drawing independent conclusions, and the ability to engage in meaningful and coherent dialogue. They testify to the possibility of innovative achievements in neuroscience to individually assess the level of concentration and perseverance of students, pace, best time to learn, etc. The robots are not able to inspire despite their computing power, simplicity of interface and ability to store information. They lack empathic abilities. They do not fully promote the realization of social skills. The global pandemic has actualized and intensified the introduction of artificial intelligence in the practice of education. Researchers have expressed a number of concerns that artificial intelligence in exchange for the rapid acquisition and effective use of a variety of information by a person will help to do levelling of the spiritual and emotional sphere of a person, i.e. “human nature in a human being.”

This qualitative study aims to examine the types and realization of the use of Code Switching communication strategies used by junior high school students when communicating in English as a foreign language. The research subjects were 30 students of SMP N IV Surakarta. The research objects were the types and realization of the use of code switching communication strategies used by students when communicating in English. Data were collected through the elicitation technique in which the participants were given the task to describe a cartoon; their speech was recorded and used as the data source. The data were analyzed qualitatively by inductive techniques using Dornyei and Myers-Scotton analysis frameworks. Research findings were interpreted by using relevant theory. The results showed that the learners used three types of code switching, namely: tag code switching, intra sentential code switching, and inter-sentential code switching. And there were three factors that contributed to the use of code switching, namely mastery of bilingual or bilingual, limited mastery of English, and as a compensation strategy. It can be concluded that the use of code switching by English learners as a foreign language is a natural and unavoidable. Because code switching is one of the communication strategies to compensate for the limited mastery of the target language.

Neo4j is a popular graph database that offers two versions: an enterprise edition and a community edition . The enterprise edition offers customizable Role-based Access Control features through custom developed procedures , while the community edition does not offer any access control support. Being a graph database, Neo4j appears to be a natural application for Relationship-Based Access Control (ReBAC), an access control paradigm where authorization decisions are based on relationships between subjects and resources in the system (i.e., an authorization graph). In this article, we present AReBAC, an attribute-supporting ReBAC model for Neo4j that provides finer-grained access control by operating over resources instead of procedures. AReBAC employs Nano-Cypher, a declarative policy language based on Neo4j’s Cypher query language, the result of which allows us to weave database queries with access control policies and evaluate both simultaneously. Evaluating the combined query and policy produces a result that (i) matches the search criteria, and (ii) the requesting subject is authorized to access. AReBAC is accompanied by the algorithms and their implementation required for the realization of the presented ideas, including GP-Eval, a query evaluation algorithm. We also introduce Live-End Backjumping (LBJ), a backtracking scheme that provides a significant performance boost over conflict-directed backjumping for evaluating queries. As demonstrated in our previous work, the original version of GP-Eval already performs significantly faster than the Neo4j’s Cypher evaluation engine. The optimized version of GP-Eval , which employs LBJ, further improves the performance significantly, thereby demonstrating the capabilities of the technique.

We all realize and feel that today the world is moving fast towards the formation of a science-based society, science-based business activities and the realization of a new culture based on science and technology, especially information and communication technology or also known as information and communication technology whose main form is the internet. One form of using internet technology to support the learning process is E-Learning. With this E-Learning, educators or tutors can put learning materials, give assignments, collect assignments, and quizzes for evaluation. In the process of this research, the author uses a methodology that is commonly used by other research, the methodologies used include the method of literature study, observation, interviews with teachers, and literature studies. The purpose of this paper is to create a web-based learning media (e-Learning) that can be used by teachers as a learning tool with various sources for providing learning materials. The results achieved are the authors try to design a web-based learning media or better known as E-Learning. It is hoped that later the school can implement this E-Learning so that it can improve the performance of teachers as teachers and increase the absorption of students in mastering the material. The conclusion of this paper is that with E-Learning teachers and students are given convenience in the teaching and learning process and increase creativity for teachers and students.
