The aim of this study is to investigate the factors influencing the financial well-being of Bank Jatim employees in Indonesia. These factors encompass financial knowledge, financial socialization, internal locus of control, lifestyle, and current financial stress. Additionally, the study delves into the role of financial behavior as a mediator in this model of financial well-being. The respondents in this study are permanent employees of Bank Jatim, Indonesia, selected through purposive sampling. The findings reveal that financial knowledge, financial socialization, and current financial stress directly impact financial well-being. Internal locus of control affects financial well-being both directly and indirectly, mediated by financial behavior. However, financial behavior doesn't serve as a mediator for the influence of lifestyle on the financial well-being of bank employees. Furthermore, the results do not provide sufficient evidence for financial behavior mediating the effects of other determinant variables. For the company, this implies that enhancing the financial well-being of bank employees should involve efforts to augment their financial knowledge, promote financial socialization, and encourage a composed approach to managing their financial situations. As for bank employees, achieving financial well-being necessitates maintaining an internal locus of control and exhibiting prudent financial management behaviors.

The release of documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein case provided some new insights into his lifestyle and the people associated with him. The unredacted information included the names of two former presidents, a member of the UK royal family, and celebrities, although this information was largely known to those familiar with the scandal. The documents revealed details about Epstein's victims' encounters with magician David Copperfield, pop star Michael Jackson, and Prince Andrew. They also shed light on former President Bill Clinton's connection to Epstein, with one victim mentioning having dinner with Clinton at Epstein's villa. Hedge fund manager Glenn Dubin and his wife, Eva Andersson-Dubin, who were friends with Epstein, denied any knowledge of his crimes. The documents also provided information about Ghislaine Maxwell's involvement in recruiting Epstein's victims and her efforts to distance herself from him. Taylor Swift's Eras tour in Australia is expected to provide a temporary boost to the economy, with the potential to generate A$1.2 billion in economic value in Melbourne alone. However, economists warn that the spending on concert-related expenses could come at the expense of other sectors, especially given the country's low savings rate and cost-of-living concerns. The influx of fans has led to increased costs for flights and accommodation, and the impact on the economy is estimated to vary. Despite the financial strain, fans like Genevieve Mylne are willing to spend significant amounts of money to attend the concert, considering it a worthwhile experience. [Extracted from the article]

CONSUMPTION (Economics) - Abstract
Malaysia's economy grew at a slightly slower rate than expected last year due to weak global demand and a decline in exports and manufacturing activity. Gross domestic product (GDP) expanded by 3.7% in 2023, below the initial estimate of 3.8%. The economy grew by 3% in the fourth quarter, lower than the projected 3.4%. The slowdown in China, Malaysia's largest trading partner, has also affected its exports. Despite the challenges, the central bank expects the economy to improve in the future due to resilient domestic spending and a potential recovery in external demand. However, there are risks, such as the impact of limiting fuel subsidies and potential changes to domestic policy on inflation. [Extracted from the article]

Sydney is a vibrant city with a diverse food scene, contrary to the misconception that it lacks culinary options. The city offers a range of restaurants and pubs that cater to different cultural cuisines. The Opera Bar, located outside the Sydney Opera House, is a must-visit attraction where one can enjoy wine, oysters, and the sunset over the harbor. Commuting in Sydney can be easy, with options like driving or taking the ferry. For breakfast, locals recommend Piccolina in Hunters Hill or Freshwater Beach for a swim and a meal. Taronga Zoo and Manly are popular destinations for visitors, especially those with kids or family. Aria, Mr. Wong, and Felix are recommended for working lunches, while Mimi's in Coogee and The Newport offer special dining experiences. The Sporting Club of Sydney and the cliff walks from Bondi to Tamarama are great options for workouts. Tipping is not expected in restaurants, but a tip of 5% to 10% can be given for excellent service. Sydney's outdoor lifestyle is best experienced by visiting the various beaches along the shoreline. Public transport, including the ferry service, is convenient for getting around the city. Business attire in Sydney has become more casual, with ties no longer expected for men. Women also dress in business casual attire. [Extracted from the article]

IWG Plc CEO Mark Dixon has pledged 93% of his shares in the company as collateral for a loan from Deutsche Bank. The pledged stake is valued at approximately $667 million. This transaction highlights how wealthy individuals can leverage their assets for liquidity. Pledging shares is not uncommon among the ultra-rich, with examples including Elon Musk, Larry Ellison, and Adam Neumann. Dixon, who founded IWG in 1989, has offloaded over $300 million of IWG stock in the past decade but has increased his stake during the pandemic. Despite pledging the majority of his shares, Dixon still has a fortune of over $500 million. [Extracted from the article]

This research sought to identify the relationship between lifestyle, leisure life and happiness with an emphasis on motorcyclists as excursionists. An availability sampling technique was used for this research. A social media campaign was launched on a motorcycle owners’ group after permission was obtained from the site administrators. Participation was through a self-administrated online questionnaire, which was completed anonymously by 151 (N) respondents which were then captured and analysed using Mplus. The mediation analyses indicate that leisure negative affect latent variable is a bigger predictor towards Show goers and Bars & Betters and happiness in general and that excursions as part of a leisure activity are important to those motorcyclists’ lifestyles. Each group experiences more positive affect in their leisure life, which results in their overall happiness. The results provide a better understanding of the motorcycle market for tourism stakeholders. A broader marketing approach is required for motorcycle excursionists based on their psychographic profiles. Destination marketers should focus on motorcyclists lifestyle (psychographic segmentation), e.g. Bars & Betters, Outdoors, Show goers and Sport lovers who travel as excursionists. This research provides a holistic view of South African motorcyclist market, thereby contributing to the literature on motorcycle, tourism, leisure life and happiness.

Urban and rural life have traditionally been interpreted in opposition to each other. This perspective is based on the fact that urban and rural areas are home to different types of people who lead a different way of life, and in general, the characteristics of their lives show significant differences. Consequently, it can be clearly seen that the classical urban-rural division has become fundamentally obsolete nowadays, the functions are mixed, it is becoming less and less possible to meet a purely urban or purely rural way of life. With the appearance of new social classes, services for the needs of the middle class or the upper middle class will also be introduced in these settlements. In practice, this means that, regardless of the size and location of the settlement, different services can be provided if there is a realistic solvent demand for them in a given community. This also well predicts the development potential of rural settlements, as it turns out that the composition, needs and financial opportunities of inhabitants also have an impact. However, the effect outlined above is bidirectional, i.e. it also works in the opposite direction to that outlined. The fact that urban areas typically have better economic, labor market and public service situation than villages can definitely be characterised as an advantage of urban life. Companies capable of producing high added value typically settle in cities, which is partly explained by the fact that these settlements have a complex, multi-level education system that is able to serve the needs of employers more efficiently and effectively. The presence of better jobs generally also allows for the availability of higher average incomes, which acts as a strong motivator for initiating both external and internal migration. The disadvantages of cities are crowdedness, alienation and poor air quality. In the case of rural settlements and villages, several advantageous features can be mentioned, including the much more reasonable settlement size, community cohesion, and generally better environmental conditions. Greater personal space can also be tempting for many. The negative characteristics, however, are the weak local economy, the lack of jobs and, in general, the lack of opportunities.

Objective Identifying organizational lifestyle is very important for all organizational stakeholders because it enables them to plan their interactions with the organization accordingly. Organizational strategists, on the other hand, are looking for models beyond marketing and competition, especially in markets where companies’ products and services do not have a significant advantage over each other and the components of integrated marketing are very similar. This is to understand the difference between the competitive advantage of brands and their competitive position in the market. Therefore, the present study seeks to design a comprehensive model and framework in the form of lifestyle for the organizations to use to strengthen their ability to determine the decisions and organizational behaviors for the stakeholders. The first question of the research is: "What are the indicators of determining the lifestyle of the organization?". After determining the indicators, in the second stage, the research seeks to evaluate the identified indicators in the pipe and polymer fittings industry in Isfahan province so that the lifestyle of the active companies in this industry can be identified. Therefore, the second question of the study is "What is the diversity of the lifestyle of companies active in the polymer pipe and fittings industry?" Methodology The present study is developmental in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of method that has been done within three stages. In the first stage, the research population includes a sample of 15 management experts in Isfahan province who were selected based on their target method so as to identify the lifestyle variables of the organization; in the second stage, to discover the hidden dimensions of the organizational lifestyle, a sample of 300 industrial and commercial managers in Isfahan was randomly selected; and in the third stage, all the 47 units of companies were selected to determine the lifestyle of polymer pipe and polymer fittings producers in Isfahan province. The content validity index, exploratory factor analysis, and Key-Mines clustering analysis were used in the three stages, respectively, to analyze the data. The questionnaire was used to collect data in all three stages, the validity of which was confirmed using the content validity ratio index and its reliability was confirmed through Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. Findings Regarding the organizational lifestyle indicators, six factors or indicators determining the organizational lifestyle were identified which include the organizations’ interaction with humans, the organization’s interaction with technology, the organization’s interaction with money and capital, the organization’s interaction with the market and industry, the organization’s interaction with the environment, and the organization’s interaction with the future trends. Regarding the diversity of lifestyles in Isfahan polymer pipes and fittings companies, six different lifestyles were identified using the diamond pattern of the organizations’ lifestyle indicators including: undecided, entrepreneurial, self-evident, mediating, pioneering and competitive. Conclusion The undecided group includes companies that do not pay any attention to any of the six indicators of the organizational diamond lifestyle model. These companies do not have any specific program in the six areas of the diamond pattern and there is a kind of uncertainty in all of their interactive areas. The Entrepreneurial group includes companies that show a relatively high level of attention to four factors of the organizational interaction with human, market and industry, future and money and capital among the six indicators of the lifestyle diamond patterns; and pay little attention to other indicators. Entrepreneurial companies are very systematic and humanistic in terms of social structure, innovative and transformational in terms of competitiveness, and risk-taking and forward-looking in terms of finance. Based on the calculated average behavior, the self-reported group has the highest behavioral attention among the indicators of lifestyle diamond pattern to the three factors of market and industry, environment and future trends. From the personality perspective, the behavior of these organizations is very similar to self-reported characters or dramatic characters due to their great attention to the external interactions of the organization and their interest in creating an appropriate image of the organization in a professional and public environment. The largest number of intermediaries belongs to companies that pay special attention to the two indicators of interaction with money and capital and interaction with the market and industry among the six indicators of the diamond model. The pioneering group pays special attention to all the indicators of the organization’s diamond lifestyle. Behavioral characteristics of these companies include comprehensive attention to all internal and external stakeholders of the organization. Competitive group includes companies that pay attention to the three indicators of interaction with humans, interaction with technology and interaction with the market and show only relative attention to other three indicators. Focusing on pioneering behavior, those who challenge market seek to imitate their competitive behaviors by reinforcing human expertise and intra-organizational processes.

Human capital and its development are the key elements of a knowledge-based economy. The basic pillars for this development are the healthy mental and physical development, teaching, and education of youth. A good question to ask is to what extent the young are aware of the important features of lifestyle, which will make it possible for them in the future to become active and valuable participants in the labour market. This investigation started within the framework of the project TAMOP 4.2.2D-15/1/KONV, or ‘Medic-Network.' In the framework of that project, the authors have studied the health-consciousness of Hungarians and Slovakians studying in higher education using quantitative methods and web-based questionnaires. Research results show that, in the examined sample, health-consciousness - the approach to protecting health and the preferences of you from the two countries - is different. The health programs of both countries must be developed to reach a well-prepared Z generation and help build a successful society and economy.
