Leading executives of the gas industry agree that passage of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's Order 636 will significantly change the way they purchase fuel. Order 636 puts the responsibility for managing the timing of shipments, anticipating shortages and supplier relations firmly on the gas industry.
