Purpose: Alcohol is implicated in epileptogenesis and seizures attack. An increasing number of studies about alcohol and epilepsy have been published. We aimed to assess research trends and hot spots in the field of alcohol and epilepsy. Patients and Methods: Literature concerning alcohol and epilepsy was systemically searched through the Web of Science database. Collaborative maps were quantitatively analyzed by using the VOSviewer and CiteSpace tools. Results: A total of 1578 papers about the field of alcohol and epilepsy were taken into analysis, which was written by 6840 authors from 2153 institutions in 85 countries, published in 676 journals, and cited 79 667 references from 10 750 journals. The United States was the leading country and had close ties with others. The University of Toronto was the most productive institution. Alcoholism‐clinical and experimental research was the fastest‐growing journal. Richard J. Bodnar was the author contributing the most literature. Analysis of keywords showed epilepsy, alcohol, seizures, alcohol withdrawal, and management were common themes. Conclusion: The presented study conducted the first bibliometric analysis of the field of alcohol and epilepsy, which will provide insights into the latest progress, evolution paths, frontier research hot spots, and future research trends in the field. BACKGROUND: With the continuous improvement and progress of the magnetically controlled growing rod technology in the field of the treatment of spinal deformities, numerous studies have been put into this field, but the main research status, hot spots, and development trends are not clear enough. OBJECTIVE: Based on bibliometrics, this paper discusses the quality and quantity of articles in the field of using magnetically controlled growing rods to treat spinal deformities from different countries, aiming to clarify the global development trend of magnetically controlled growing rods and evaluate the research productivity, research trends, and research hotspots in the world. METHODS: The articles published from 1998 to 2023 were retrieved mainly based on the Web of Science database. CiteSpace 5.8 and VOSviewer 1.6.19 software were used to analyze the data and generate a visual knowledge map. The following parameters were evaluated for all studies: the total number of published papers, centrality, h index, the contribution of countries, authors, and journals, and the trend and hot spots were explored through the analysis of co-citation, highly cited literature, and literature keyword explosion. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: (1) Finally, 138 articles were included. From 2009 to 2020, the number of published articles in this field gradually increased. The United States has the largest number of articles (53, 37.32%), and the United States has the highest h index and centrality of articles. (2) The results of keyword analysis showed that: the top ten keywords, such as early-onset scoliosis, surgery, complications, and so on, objectively and truly reflected the current situation and hot spots of magnetically controlled growing rod in the field of spinal deformity treatment. In recent years, the research focus in this field is the treatment failure caused by risk factors such as the pull-out of the magnetically controlled growing rod, implantation failure, and rod fracture, the accurate use of the corresponding medical classification, the monitoring and treatment of complications such as quality of life and cerebral palsy. (3) The co-citation results showed that: combined with the innovative and effective research of the magnetically controlled growing rod technology, the classification application of spinal deformity and the monitoring and treatment of related complications may be the research trend in this field. (4) Many highly cited articles further emphasized the therapeutic effect of magnetically controlled growing rod technology, providing an effective new idea and technical support for the field of spinal deformity correction. (5) The results of literature keyword explosion analysis demonstrate that the risk factors, medical classification, quality of life, and cerebral palsy of the application of magnetically controlled growing rods may become the research frontier in this field. (6) It can be seen that the application of magnetically controlled growing rod technology in the classification of spinal deformities and the in-depth study of related complications are the development trend in this field, but to further understand the effectiveness and safety of magnetically controlled growing rod technology in the treatment of spinal deformities, we still need long-term follow-up evidence. The overall research level of this field has steadily improved in recent years, but there are also problems such as the small number of high-quality articles and the unbalanced development of research in various regions. This paper aims to develop some specific theoretical themes, which could be useful for HR personnel in adopting and implementing blockchain technology in the HR department. Total 126 published documents during the time interval 2016–2021 from the Scopus and Web of Science databases were explored to classify the relevant 25 records using the PRISMA flow diagram. Complete bibliometric information has been synthesised concerning titles, abstracts, and keywords of each of those 25 publications. VOSviewer was used to generate term co-occurrence network maps based on assembled bibliometric information. Four thematic clusters were evolved from the network maps and based on the thematic clusters; two theoretical themes were developed through associations. Two theoretical themes, i.e., Employee-Systems Interaction (ESI) and Blockchain Framework (BcF) for HR, were identified to become the prime movers for adopting and implementing blockchain in the domain of HRM. Later, for justifying the two theoretical themes and testing the robustness of the results, we reported the key terms thoroughly and critically going through the 25 publications. ESI and BcF for HR will add tremendous theoretical contributions to the existing body of knowledge in the fields of blockchain and strategic HRM. Directions for future research have been mentioned. Botulinum toxin type-A (BoNT-A) has emerged as a key therapeutic agent for the management of spasticity. This paper presents a comprehensive bibliometric and visual analysis of research concerning BoNT-A treatment of spasticity to elucidate current trends and future directions in this research area. A search was conducted in the Web of Science database for articles focused on the use of BoNT-A in spasticity published between 2000 and 2022. We extracted various metrics, including counts of publications and contributions from different countries, institutions, authors, and journals. Analytical methods in CiteSpace were employed for the examination of co-citations, collaborations, and the co-occurrence of keywords. Our search yielded 1489 publications. Analysis revealed a consistent annual increase in research output. The United States, United Kingdom, and Italy were the leading contributors. The top institution in this research was Assistance Publique Hopitaux, Paris. The journal containing the highest number of relevant publications was Toxins. Key frequently occurring keywords were 'stroke', 'cerebral palsy', 'adult spasticity', and 'upper extremity'. This study identified 12 clusters of keywords and 15 clusters of co-cited references, indicating the main focus areas and emerging themes in this field. Though currently considered a 'black box,' machine learning (ML) has a promising future to ameliorate the health-care burden of stroke which is the second leading cause of mortality worldwide. Through this study, we sought to review the most influential articles on the applications of ML in stroke. Web of Sciences database was searched, and a list of the top 50 most cited articles, assessing the application of ML in stroke, was prepared by 2 authors, independently. Subsequently, a detailed analysis was performed to characterize the most impactful studies. The total number of citations to the top 50 articles were 2959 (range 35–243 citations) with a median of 47 citations. Highest number of articles were published in the journal Stroke and the United States was the major contributing country. The majority of the studies focused on the utilization of ML to improve stroke risk prediction, diagnosis, and outcome prediction. Statistical analysis revealed an insignificant association between the total and mean number of citations and the impact factor of the journal (P = 0.516 and 0.987, respectively). Recent years have witnessed a surge in the application of ML in stroke, with an enhancement in interest and funding over the years. This article presents a bibliometric analysis of the scientific production around the epistemic injustice construct in the period 1998–2023. The data to perform the analysis was retrieved from the Scopus and Web of Science databases, and its analysis tool was used to obtain the bibliometric indicators. As part of the analysis, the most relevant authors, the journals with the greatest impact, the countries with the greatest scientific production, and the areas where the subject has had a broader development are presented. In addition, a review of the articles with the greatest impact on scientific production under this theme is included. This study contributes to the unconsolidated cryptocurrency literature, with a systematic literature review focused on cryptocurrency market microstructure. We searched Web of Science database and focused only on journals listed on 2021 ABS list. Our final sample comprises 138 research papers. We employed a quantitative and an integrative analysis, and revealed complex network associations, and a detailed research trending analysis. Our study provides a robust and systematic contribution to cryptocurrency literature by making use of a powerful and accurate methodology—the bibliographic coupling, also by only considering ABS academic journals, using a wider keyword scope, and not enforcing any restrictions regarding areas of knowledge, thus enhancing the contribution of extant literature by allowing the insights of more high-quality peripheral studies on the subject. The conclusions of this study are of extreme importance for researchers, investors, regulators, and the academic community in general. Our study provides high structured networking and clear information for research outlets and literature strands, for future studies on cryptocurrency investment, it also presents valuable insights to better understand the cryptocurrency market microstructure and deliver helpful information for regulators to effectively regulate cryptocurrencies. Background: Relapsing polychondritis (RP) is an inflammatory disease with significant individual heterogeneity that involves systemic cartilage tissues. This study aimed to perform a bibliometric analysis of RP-related publications to quantitatively assess the scholarly productivity in the field. Methods: We extracted the RP-related original research articles and reviews published during 1960–2023 from the Web of Science database by using the keyword "relapsing polychondritis." By using R, CiteSpace, VOSviewer, and SCImago Graphica, the bibliometric analysis was performed on the retrieved publications. Results: A total of 1096 articles, consisting of 909 original research articles and 187 reviews, were identified. A mean annual growth rate of 6.71% was found in the number of RP-related publications during 1960–2022. The United States accounted for the highest number of publications (21.9%), exhibited the highest mean citation number per publication (40.7), and engaged in the most frequent academic collaboration. Three clusters of RP-related journals were identified: 1) otology, rhinology, and laryngology; 2) respiratory and radiology medicine; and 3) rheumatology. Journals with a focus on rheumatology issued the most publications, and most of the RP-related publications were from The Journal of Rheumatology (n = 27). Most of these publications were co-authored by Dr. Jean-Charles Piette (n = 19), who also had the highest H-index (13) among all the authors. The co-citation network analysis revealed 11 highly connected clusters of RP research and indicated the "VEXAS Syndrome" as a hotspot. Conclusion: This overview of the RP research field comprehensively describes the progress in the field. The number of publications on RP has progressively increased but remains insufficient. The United States and European countries are at the forefront of RP-related research, and the journals related to rheumatology have covered the majority of publications. Additionally, several key topics for future investigations, such as "VEXAS Syndrome," have been identified. Purpose: Tuberculosis is one of the oldest diseases in human history, and spinal tuberculosis (STB) is the most common form of extrapulmonary tuberculosis. A large number of research has been conducted in this field. However, there has been no bibliometric analysis performed in recent years in STB. The aim of this study was to analyze trends and hotspots in research on STB. Methods: Publications regarding STB between 1980 and 2022 were extracted from the Web of Science database. CiteSpace (V5.7.R2) and VOSviewer (1.6.10) were used to perform global analyses of the number of publications, countries, institutions, authors, journals, keywords, and cited references. Results: A total of 1262 articles were published between 1980 and 2022. We observed rapid growth in the number of publications since 2010. Spine had the highest number of publications (47, 3.7%). Zhang HQ and Wang XY were key researchers. The Central South University published the most papers (90, 7.1%). China was the leading contributor in this field with 459 publications and 29 H-index. National partnerships are dominated by the USA, and there is a lack of active cooperation between other countries and authors. Conclusion: research on STB has achieved great progress, with an increasing number of publications since 2010. Surgical treatment and debridement are current research hots pots, and diagnosis, drug resistance, and kyphosis are likely research frontiers. Background: Perioperative neurocognitive disorder (PND) is a general term for cognitive impairment that negatively affects multiple domains, including memory, concentration, and physical functioning. Numerous articles have been published on PND; however, only a few quantitative analyses covering this disorder have been published. Methods and Materials: To clarify PND's developmental history, research foci, and future directions, we conducted a bibliometric analysis using the bibliometric tools VOSviewer and CiteSpace. A total of 4704 publications were obtained from the Web of Science database, including annual publications and trends, keywords, institutions, journals, and collaboration between countries/regions and authors. Results: In addition, we found that neuroinflammation is a hotspot in recent studies. Conclusions: This bibliometric analysis provides a broad overview of studies in the field of PND. The subject of "women's political participation" is discussed and researched in the axis of theoretical and practical applications. Women's participation in politics, their absence in politics, and political participation channels and tools find different reflections based on patriarchal systems. This study aims to map the publications on women's political participation in the context of various criteria by using the bibliometric analysis method of the studies selected from the Web of Science database. In the WoS database, which is an effective database in the world, a total of 254 studies published because of the search made on April 12, 2023, by selecting the keywords "women's political participation" were determined. Only the language of studies was restricted among these studies, and 220 studies were included in the analysis. Identified studies were analyzed using the WoS database and VOSviewier software. The study's findings show that studies on women's political participation have decreased since 2020 compared to previous years. In addition, the study determined that Turkey is in the lower ranks among the countries that publish on the relevant subject, as another essential finding that needs to be questioned. This study will provide researchers, politicians, and non-governmental organizations with critical data to identify the deficiencies and riches by knowing all the details, including the theoretical and practical applications of women's political participation. This study conducts a bibliometric analysis of 735 research papers on geomorphological mapping published in English between 2000 and 2021 using the Web of Science database. The analysis focuses on key metrics such as annual publication rates, journal distribution, common keywords, and frequently cited papers. The results demonstrate sustained investment in geomorphological mapping research over the past two decades, driven by advancements in data analysis, GIS technologies, and cross-institutional and cross-country collaboration. While European universities and research centers lead the field, researchers from Latin America and Asia are also making noteworthy contributions. However, research concentration remains largely in Europe, particularly at low altitudes. The study highlights the vital importance of investment in geomorphological mapping research and the benefits of collaboration to advance understanding and knowledge production. Use of varieties bred under organic conditions is essential in order to minimize the yield gap between organic and conventional agriculture. The aim of this study was to analyse research publications related to the topic 'organic plant breeding' from the Web of Science database using bibliometric science mapping and visualization tools. The number of analysed documents in the bibliographic dataset was 204 from the 53 sources. The overall trend in the organic plant breeding literature showed that the number of publications increased during the observed time‐span. We found that in total, 65 countries and 337 institutions are active in the field of organic plant breeding with a high degree of international collaboration. The top five countries according to the number of publications were the United States, Italy, Germany, France, and Canada, while the most active institutions were Wageningen University, Iowa State University, University of Alberta, University of Copenhagen, and University of Hohenheim. All keywords from the organic plant breeding research in the agronomy category were separated into seven clusters for different research topics. Although there is evident progress viewed through the increased trend in the number of publications, organic plant breeding needs further expansion and development. The work analyses and evaluates the results of research work carried out so far in the field of rainwater management in urban areas in Poland. Using the "biblioshiny" tool, a bibliometric analysis was carried out based on queries to the Scopus and Web of Science databases. As a result, information was obtained on selected bibliometric statistics of scientific publications in which the topic of rainwater in Poland was taken up. The probable direction of further research development in the field of the analysed issues was also determined. In addition, after a detailed review of all the articles obtained at the earlier stage of the bibliometric analysis, the main research contexts were indicated and discussed. This study was conducted in order to determine how well the organizational behavior issues adapt to the process in the transformation that has been experienced with industry 4.0. In this context, the levels considering industry 4.0 and organizational behavior issues together in academic studies were evaluated. Regarding scope of the research, the studies in which industry 4.0 and organizational behavior issues were examined together were taken from the Web of Science database. The bibliometric analysis of the data that was obtained was performed through employing the WOSviewer 1.6.18 program. As of 02 May 2023, 21422 studies related to industry 4.0 have been identified in the Web of Science database. Only 546 (2.5%) of these studies were identified as studies examining industry 4.0 and organizational behavior issues together in the field of management. In the literature, it has been concluded that industry 4.0 is mostly studied with technical issues; organizational behavior issues, in other words, the human aspect, are in the background, and there is no parallelism between the speed of development of industry 4.0 and that of the studies regarding organizational behavior issues. Objective: With the development of Wendan decoction (WDD) and more literature on the research of WDD, we aimed to present an insight into WDD research using bibliometric analysis. Methods: We retrieved data from the Web of Science database from 2008 to 2022. Publication trends were examined using data from journals, authors, institutions, international collaborations, citations, and keywords from the online analytical platform Bibliometric (http://bibliometric.com). Results: Over the years, an increase in the use of keywords, including depression, insomnia, Alzheimer's disease, schizophrenia, hippocampus, and insomnia, was observed. The outcomes of the analysis revealed that topics related to WDD have become increasingly prevalent in the last five years, and the internationally recognized application of WDD is mainly neuropsychiatric diseases. Conclusion: We exhibited WDD research progress by identifying and evaluating WDD-focused articles. In recent years, there has been an increasing amount of research on single mothers internationally. This article analyzes 1543 research papers on single mothers from Web of Science database using Cite-Space literature analysis software. The study found that research on single mothers covers 79 countries globally, forming a close and comprehensive cooperative network between them. The North American region, including the United States and Canada, is a core research force in the field of single mothers. The top 15 research institutions produced more than 30 papers each, with the University of California System ranking first with a total of 72 papers. The journal with the most publications was the Journal of Marriage and Family, with a total of 44 papers. There were 8 authors who published more than 10 papers, with Herbst CM having the most with 16 papers. The frequency of citations for research on single mothers has shown a significant increasing trend in recent years, with a total of 36,624 citations, an average of 23.74 citations per paper, and an h-index of 83. Through the analysis of clustering networks and high-frequency keywords, the research hotspot on single mothers mainly focuses on four aspects: the psychological health of single mothers, the economic and employment status of single mothers, the children of single mothers, and the social support of single mothers. Global warming might be mitigated if emissions were interrupted through carbon capture technologies, as there is a significant amount of comprehensive studies on them. An outline of the main gaps and trends of a technology is critical for further development. In this context, this study provides an overview of calcium looping carbon capture processes that have proven their potential and commercial viability. A bibliometric analysis is conducted on both Scopus and Web of Science database by seeking the keywords "calcium looping", "co2 capture", and "fluidized bed" in titles, abstracts, and keywords. Word selection was based on a list of relevant papers on the topic. These items of data have been processed and analyzed based on the number of publications and citations by emphasizing recent publication evolution, journal influence, the use of specific keywords, and co-citation. Results reveal that the European Union (EU) leads the rankings on the topic, followed by Canada. Keyword choice might have affected the number of citations. Recent studies used limestone as a sorbent and a dual fluidized bed reactor with a calciner or resistance depending on its size. Most studies are focused on technology scale-up. Objectives: The aim of this bibliometric analysis was twofold: to identify the 100 most cited research articles on thymoma and to highlight future research opportunities in light of past and current research efforts. Methods: The Web of Science database was queried to identify the 100 most cited articles on thymoma. Imformations relevant to scientific research were extracted and analyzed: first author, journal, impact factor, type of article, year of publication, country, organization and keywords. Results: The publication year of the top 100 most cited articles ranged from 1981 to 2018, and the number of citations ranged from 97 to 1182. Most of the included articles are original (75/100) and are mainly retrospective studies (52/75). The United States has the most published articles and citations, and the Annals of Thoracic Surgery is the most sourced journal (n = 16). Through VOSviewer analysis, high-density keywords mainly come from thymic carcinoma/invasive thymoma management, immune-related diseases, and laboratory research. Conclusions: To our knowledge, this is the first bibliometric study on thymoma. We found most of the top 100 most cited articles are original and retrospective research. The United States has the published and cited works. Presently, the hot keywords for thymoma research has gradually tilted towards immune-related diseases and laboratory research. Granger causality provides a framework that uses predictability to identify causation between time series variables. This is important to policymakers for effective policy management and recommendations. Granger causality is recognized as the primary advance on the causation problem. The objective of this paper is to conduct a bibliometric analysis of Granger causality publications indexed in the Web of Science database. Harzing's Publish or Perish and VOSviewer were used for performance analysis and science mapping. The first paper indexed was published in 1981 and there has been an upward trend in the annual publication of Granger causality studies which are shifting towards the areas of environmental science, energy, and economics. Most of the publications are articles and proceeding papers under the areas of business economics, environmental science ecology, and neurosciences/neurology. China has the highest number of publications while the United States has the highest number of citations. England has the highest citation impact. This paper also constructed country co-authorship, co-analysis of cited references, cited sources, and cited authors, keyword co-occurrence, and keyword overlay visualization maps. Bibliometric analysis allows the analysis and evaluation of scientific studies by different methods. This study aims to present an overview of the "Accounting Standards" literature in the journals indexed on the Web of Science. This subject area is scanned in 1851 publications within the "Business-Finance" category on June 25, 2021. R-Studio program is used in the analysis and this study contributes by applying bibliometric analysis to articles published in these fields since 1970. Purpose: With the continuous development of Internet technology, virtual brand communities (VBCs) have increasingly become essential fronts for enterprises and consumers to carry out professional communication and the leading platform for consumers and other consumers to engage in social and brand discussion. Meanwhile, numerous scholars began to pay attention to VBCs as their research topic. However, there is no systematic understanding of the existing literature on the VBCs research. Therefore, this study aims to provide a comprehensive and systematic review of VBCs research over the past twenty years. Design/methodology/approach: Based on HistCite and CiteSpace software, descriptive statistics and bibliometric analysis were conducted in this study. Specifically, by adopting research cooperation network analysis, co-citation analysis of literature, cluster analysis and co-word analysis, the authors analyzed 1,157 articles on VBCs in the Web of Science database from 2000 to 2020. Findings: This study summarizes the research of VBCs from three aspects. First, the general characteristics of VBCs literature are analyzed. Second, knowledge bases, research contents, theoretical foundations and theoretical contributions of VBCs are dug and integrated into a knowledge framework. Third, the evolution and trend of VBCs research topics are visualized and analyzed in two phases (from 2005 to 2012 and from 2013 to 2020). Originality/value: This study describes the research status, knowledge structure and famous topics of VBCs research over the past twenty years. Further, the research topics for VBCs have maintained continuity in the last twenty years. Furthermore, the research topics have also been evolving with the development of network technology and changes in the external environment. Coporate volutering has been highlighted in academic and practional business literature. This article prepared a bibliometric analysis related to corporate volunteering in the Web of Science database. Articles from the beginning of the database until 2019 were analyzed and the VOSviewer software was used to determine the areas of emphasis for researchers, the language of publication of this research, the trend in the number of publications from year to year, the most relevant journals for publication and the most cited authors. The study revealed that 97.08% of the articles are in English, with 29.7% being produced in the United States. The research provides guidance for those who wish to produce research on organizational performance, pointing to the most prominent researchers and resources on the subject. The main purpose of this study is to identify the trends in predatory publishing and to compile a core reading list of documents on the topic of 'predatory journals.' The study examined 541 documents on the topic of 'predatory journals' indexed in the Web of Science database published between 2012 and 2021. The data set was analyzed quantitatively (bibliometric study) and qualitatively (document classification). For bibliometric analysis, parameters like year, disciplines, number of citations, countries, document types, and journals were used. The documents were classified into four groups, namely, General (326), Empirical Studies (89), Technical Specifics (71), and Cautionary Texts (55). The results of the analysis and co-relation between quantitative and qualitative parameters reveal that publications in medical sciences (221) form the majority in almost all groups. There is a steady growth in publications in all groups during 2018 and 2019. Research papers and editorial materials are greater in number. The largest number of documents are from the United States (163 documents). A large number of papers have been published in the journals Scientometrics (22) and Learned Publishing (28). The most highly cited (17) papers have been published in Nature. The core reading list of forty documents on predatory journals is the outcome of the study after examining the co-relationship between the two methods. The abundance of research in the field of sustainable marketing management necessitates a comprehensively integrated knowledge about the topic. This study aims to map all scientific publications related to sustainability marketing from a firm perspective as collected from the Web of Science database (1900–2021), and subsequently identify potential future research directions. The bibliometric method, particularly bibliographic coupling, is used to describe the evolution over time of research on the topic. Also, the networks and intellectual structures of sustainability marketing management research are visualized and analyzed by VOS viewer algorithm/software. Based on a final list of 606 selected journal articles extracted from the initial 777,577 retrieved items, the bibliographic coupling analysis reveals six clusters within the research field: "sustainable green marketing and design: system perspective," "sustainability assessment and firm performance," "social sustainability in the dynamic model and mechanism," "strategic CSR, corporate sustainability integration and performance," "impacts of social and environmental sustainability on economic sustainability," and "environmental sustainability and green management for multinational enterprises." This study provides insight into the most substantive up-to-date contributions to the field, herein referred to as state-of-the-art thematic topics in sustainability marketing management, thus stipulating fruitful future research avenues for a more developed research community. The first article was published in 1975; number of articles has increased since 2002. Alzeban A., Barac K., Wood D.A. and Sarens G. are the authors working most intensively on this subject, while, Wood D.A. is the author with the most collaborations. United States holds the highest number of articles, number of citations, and strong links to other country-based publications. However, it is observed that number of publications and impact of the publications are not in the same direction. Purpose: This study aims to identify how the innovation studies literature addresses the topic of capabilities for service innovation and to propose directions for future research in this field. Originality/value: There is a gap in the literature on service innovation of the combination of capabilities that guarantees the success of service companies considering the characteristics of service innovators. Design/methodology/approach: This study comprises a bibliometric analysis of documents retrieved from Scopus and Web of Science databases. The total sample examined consists of 1523 studies published between 1974 and 2020. The data were analyzed with the Bibliometrix R-package, providing many visualization forms. Additional co-citation analysis was carried out using VosViewer software. Findings: Results indicate a growing discussion about service innovation and capabilities in the period under analysis, but it is still a fragmented theoretical body. There is a great variety of theoretical approaches that have been used to describe capabilities for service innovation. This way, this study contributes to the literature by mapping the current state of the art in the field of service innovation and by identifying its main research themes, which enabled us to propose a research agenda for further development. This study aims to evaluate retro and nostalgia marketing studies published by academics bibliometrically. Bibliometric analysis was applied to 204 articles published in the Web of Science databases under the title of retro marketing and nostalgia marketing with document-archive scanning method. The results of the research were filtered in English and under the topic (title, abstract, author keywords, keywords plus). The universe of the research consists of 204 articles published between 1980-2021. The data were analyzed through the R program under five headings: publication information, citation analysis, vocabulary, author information, and cooperation between countries. The research results aim to present a bibliometric report on articles in English in the Web of Science database related to retro and nostalgia marketing between 1980-2021. This study aims to evaluate the development of nationalism academic literature in the world through bibliometric analysis. The absence of a similar study -a bibliometric study on the nationalism literature in Turkey-, which seeks to answer the question of how the development of nationalism is shaped in academic literature, makes this study more meaningful. In this context, contributing to the Turkish political science literature constitutes another goal of this study. This study examines 9175 articles between 1975-2021 on nationalism and related concepts and theories according to the development of the literature in the Web of Science database. There were discussed through co-author analysis on country basis, co-citation analysis on country basis, co-author analysis, co-entity analysis, and bibliometric mapping. According to the results of this study, it has been determined that the concepts of nationalism, racism, ethnicity and modernism have been studied intensively in the nationalism literature, which has a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary nature, today as well as in the past, and that nationalism continues its potential existence as a field of study in the future. Research on overqualification has become a growing area of interest in the last two decades. However, knowledge of the structure and development of overqualification is limited. The main purpose of this research is to visualize the most important topics in the field through scientific maps using subject mapping (co-keyword analysis) and co-citation analysis at the author level, which are bibliometric analysis methods to determine the evolution of perceived overqualification research. In order to determine the intellectual structure of perceived overqualification studies, 56 English-language publications with the word "perceived overqualification" in their titles and scanned in the Web of Science database were analyzed with VOSviewer. Firstly, the most important publications on the subject, the most productive journals, the most influential authors and the distribution of publications by country were summarized with the descriptive analysis method. Then, with the bibliometric analysis method, the most prominent themes in the perceived overqualification research and the interactions between the authors according to the co-citation frequency were determined. According to the results of the current research; perceived overqualification, overqualification, job satisfaction, relative deprivation, job crafting, turnover intention, quantitative, person-job fit and performance are the most commonly used keywords. Two clusters emerged in the co-citation (author level) analysis and the most cited authors are Erdogan, B. and Maynard, D.C. Over the past few decades, more and more articles about platelet-rich plasma (PRP) use in regenerative medicine have been published. The aim of this study was to determine which articles have been most influential in this field by identifying and analyzing the characteristics of the 100 most cited articles. Articles on the use of PRP in regenerative medicine were identified via the Thomson ISI Web of Science database. A majority of the articles originated from the USA (36%). The top journal in terms of number of articles was American Journal of Sports Medicine (12%). Musculoskeletal system and orthopedics (54%) were the most popular fields of applications. Preclinical studies were the most represented study type, from which only 8 from 46 (17.4%) provided a complete numerical description of the injected product. Analysis showed a time-dependent trend of increasing quality of the clinical studies (p = 0.004), although none of them provided a complete biological characterization of the injected PRP. This study demonstrated that the use of PRP in regenerative medicine is a growing and popular area of research, mainly focused on orthopedic applications. Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), as the most widely distributed and widely studied neurotrophic factor in the mammalian brain, plays a key role in depression and the mechanisms of action for antidepressants. Currently, there is a large number of studies on the role of BDNF in the pathogenesis and therapeutic mechanism of depression. The quantity and quality of these studies, however, are unknown. To give beginners a quicker introduction to this research topic, we therefore performed a bibliometric analysis. A total of 5300 publications were included. We obtained the publications on this topic from the Web of Science database, and a variety of bibliographic elements were collected, including annual publications, authors, countries/regions, institutions, journals, and keywords. Moreover, we found that oxidative stress and neuroinflammation are the hotspots in the field in very recent years. Collectively, this study provides a comprehensive summary and analysis on the role of BDNF in depression and its treatment and offers meaningful values for beginners on this topic. Augmented reality technology is one of the current technologies used in many fields such as education, engineering, and industry. The effect of augmented reality on fields attracts the attention of researchers day by day. This research aims to reveal the current situation and trends in the field by examining the articles using augmented reality technologies in the field of maintenance and repair with bibliometric analysis techniques. In the research, 661 documents in the Web of Science database between 1998-2022 were examined. It has been determined that the current trends are towards education, virtual reality, and industry 4.0, the most influential author is Soh Khim Ong, the most influential magazine is Automation in Construction, and the most effective publication is Augmented reality applications in design and manufacturing. As a result of the findings, suggestions about the field (subject, author, journal, article, and collaboration) were presented to the researchers. This study, it is aimed to determine the historical development of the use of humor in organizations in the context of management discipline with the bibliometric analysis method and to guide those who work in this field in the future by creating a conceptual framework. For this purpose, articles published in the Web of Science database and scanned in different indexes on the use of humor in organizations until 2022 were analyzed by the bibliometric method. 306 articles focusing on the field of management were examined in the keywords, abstract, and title areas. To answer the questions created for the research, various productivity indicators were examined and citation analysis, co-citation, and co-word analysis were performed within the scope of bibliometric analysis. It has been found that the interest in the field of management for studies on the use of humor in organizations has increased in the last 15 years. The fact that the number of publications originating from Turkey is 4 can be considered as an indication that the field of humor use in organizations is open to development in our country. Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) is an empirically supported humanistic treatment that considers clients' emotional processes as the path to therapeutic change. The present aim was to develop a bibliometric study of EFT articles published in the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection. Books and chapters were not included in this research. The bibliometric analysis was performed using Hiscite and VosViewer. Results showed 273 publications on EFT in WoS, the first being in 1994. The most relevant areas were depression and anxiety. The most productive author is Greenberg (n = 56; GCS = 2050). The 51.28% of publications corresponds to the last five years (2016–2020), observing a substantial increase in publications comparing with previous years. It is concluded that EFT is a psychotherapeutic orientation in recent scientific growth, with potential interest for further development in next years. The absence of results in WoS prior to 1994 is a limitation, given the origins of EFT in the 1970s. Extension of this study is recommended, including: publications about emotionally focused therapy, publications from other databases different from WoS, together with books and chapters. This study was carried out to analyze the effectiveness and scientific trend of publications in the academic field with content of “edible mushroom” in the Web of Science database. The data obtained in the study were analyzed using bibliometric techniques. In the study, a total of 6250 data were obtained between 1970-2021 on the investigated subject in Web of Science database without year or document limitation. The data were analyzed in terms of various bibliometric indicators such as index type, distribution by years, distribution by country and cooperation network, citation rates, authors, keywords, trending topics. Purpose. The aim of this paper is to present the productivity of the scientific and teaching staff of the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Zagreb in the period from 2006 to 2020 by applying the descriptive bibliometric method in the Web of Science citation database. Approach/methodology/design. The search was conducted in the database Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) and it was limited to the institution and the original scientifi c papers and reviews published by its members in the last 15 years. Microsoft Excel and VOSviewer were used for data analysis. Findings. The total number of analysed papers is 591 with an average number of citations per paper of 6.45. There is a significant increase in the number of published papers, especially in the period from 2016 to 2020. The largest number of papers is signed by three authors, while all papers have an average of four keywords. The total number of citations is 7,706, and the largest number of citations was received in 2020 (1,287 citations). Most papers were published in collaboration with scientists from Serbia and Slovenia, 92 (14.07%) and 79 (13.55%). The comparison of institutional cooperation has shown that most articles were published in cooperation with the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Split and the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Sports, 76 (12.86%) and 56 (9.61%). The largest number of papers was published in Kinesiology: International Journal of Fundamental and Applied Kinesiology, 63 (11.71%). The analysis of the co-occurrence of keywords has shown that research in kinesiology in the last 15 years was focused on exercise, performance, and children. Research limitations/implications. Only papers indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection database were analysed, therefore the potential significant research contributions indexed in other databases might have been overlooked. An additional limitation is the author's decision to use the default parameters of the VOSviewer, if other parameters had been set the results of the bibliometric mapping could have been different and consequently the interpretation of the results, too. This paper contributes to a better understanding of research patterns in the fi eld of kinesiology, through an analysis of the scientific productivity of the leading institution in the region in this field. During the last three years, numerous research papers have been reported which use social media data to explore several issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Bibliometric methods in this work are used to analyze 1427 peer-reviewed documents from the last three years extracted from the Web of Science database. The results of this study show that there was high growth in publications in open access journals with an annual rate reaching 19.3% and they also identify the top cited journals and research papers. The thematic analysis of papers shows that research topics related to social media for surveillance and monitoring of public attitudes and perceptions, mental health, misinformation, and fake news are important and well-developed, whereas topics related to distance-learning education with social media are emerging. This work aims to present an overview of the factors, attributes or behaviour of entrepreneurial leadership research with a comprehensive bibliometric analysis. 1,594 articles, dated from 2000 to December 2020, were taken from the main Web of Science database collection and analysed with a bibliometric study using performance analysis and scientific mapping methods. To evaluate the importance, quality and impact of publications, indicators like productivity, citations or h-index were used to obtain an analysis of trends and advances on the most relevant publications, authors, journals and countries. Research was complemented by scientific mapping obtained through co-citations, bibliographic couplings, co-occurrences and co-authorships. The results show that the trend of publications has considerably increased since 2015, and the highest productivity was recorded in 2020. The USA and England are two of the most influential publishing countries, although the network analysis reveals cooperation with different countries. The most productive journal is Sustainability and the most influential is the Journal of Business Venturing. This systematic mapping of the field helps to illustrate the research evolution over time, identifies areas of current interest for use in theoretical and empirical frameworks, and provides a solid roadmap for future research. A search of the term biostimulants on the most renowned scientific online databases such as Web of Science results in more than one thousand documents. Although some reviews have been previously published, there is no unified and comprehensive bibliometric review of the scientific literature related to biostimulants. This study examines the scientific literature on biostimulants from 2000 to February 2022 by conducting a bibliometric analysis of the literature published on the Web of Science database to deepen its evolution, trends, and macroareas to represent a quick reference guide for interdisciplinary researchers. We identify the most productive countries and journals, detect the major research streams and perspectives, and trace overall research development over the years. Furthermore, the results highlight aspects that have had little consideration in the current scientific literature, such as economic assessments of the use of biostimulants and more comprehensive explanations of the molecular mechanisms responsible for their positive effects. The purpose of our bibliometric analysis was to explore the disciplinary hotspots and collaborative networks in research on neuropathic pain (NPP) during in the past 20 years. The studies related to NPP were obtained from Web of Science database. Global publications on NPP were analyzed for different factors, including the number of reports, citation rates, authors, institutions, countries and regions, journals, funding, and relevant partnerships and topic hotspots. From 2001 to 2020, 6905 studies related to NPP research were reported worldwide. The number of publications had increased continually during the past 20 years. Pain was the most productive and most frequently co-cited journal. Ralf Baron was the most productive and influential author. The most productive country and institution were the United States and Harvard University, respectively. Investigators and institutions from the United States, Japan, and China were the core research forces. We found broad and close cooperation in the field worldwide. The top authors and top institutions had collaborated relatively closely with others. The research of NPP is a well-developed and prospective field of medical study. The journals Pain, European Journal of Pain, and Molecular Pain showed more interested in this field. The United States, Harvard University, and Ralf Baron were the top country, institution, and author, respectively. Gliomas are the most common primary malignant tumor of the central nervous system. At the present time, radiotherapy (RT) is the cornerstone of therapeutic approaches, but the worldwide research trends in RT for gliomas in the world are unclear. This bibliometric analysis aimed to investigate trends in glioma RT research since 2011. The Web of Science database was searched, and SigmaPlot 14.0 and VOSviewer software were used to analyze and visualize the trends. Bibliometric analysis of 5106 articles was conducted. While the number of publications per year was relatively steady, the number of citations grew exponentially from 356 in 2011 to 21,051 in 2020. Articles originated from 89 countries, with the majority from the United States. Journal of Neuro-Oncology and Texas A&M University were the journal and institution, respectively, with the highest number of publications. The articles mainly involved oncology, neurology, radiology, and surgery. This bibliometric analysis found an increased focus on glioblastoma, survival, and chemotherapy in glioma RT research. Bibliometric analysis is a quantitative method designed to analyze large volumes of scientific output data and to map the intellectual landscape of a specific area of knowledge by describing its scientometric indicators (e.g., number of publications and citations, etc.) and structural relationships (e.g., co-authorship patterns, keyword clustering, etc.) between its different components. In this article, methods of bibliometric analysis are applied to the corpus of publications on eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy research. A total of 1,150 papers found in the Web of Science database and published between 1994 and early 2021 were included in the analysis. Retrieved bibliometric data was analyzed and visualized using VOSViewer software. Temporal distribution of publications (number of publications per year); spatial distribution of publications (author affiliations); top journals; impact of EMDR research as assessed by highly cited publications; author co-citation as a measure of collaboration; literature co-citation as a measure of internal structure; and key terms were analyzed. The results of the study provide the readers with a broad, "one-stop overview" of the current state of research on EMDR therapy, with a focus on the quantitative characteristics of its output and on the key represented topics. The history of academic research on ependymoma is expansive. This review summarizes its history with a bibliometric analysis of the 100 most cited articles on ependymoma. In March 2020, we queried the Web of Science database to identify the most cited articles on ependymoma using the terms "ependymoma" or "ependymal tumors," yielding 3145 publications. Results were arranged by the number of times each article was cited in descending order. The top 100 articles spanned across nearly a century; the oldest article was published in 1924, while the most recent was in 2017. These articles were published in 35 unique journals, including a mix of basic science and clinical journals. The three institutions with the most papers in the top 100 were St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (16%), the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (6%), and the German Cancer Research Center (5%). We analyzed the publications that may be considered the most influential in the understanding and treatment management of ependymoma. Studies focused on the molecular classification of ependymomas were well-represented among the most cited articles, reflecting the field's current area of focus and its future directions. Nano-systems (size range: 1 ~ 1000 nm) have been widely investigated as pulmonary drug delivery carriers, and the safety of inhaled nano-systems has aroused general interests. In this work, bibliometric analysis was performed to describe the current situation of related literature, figure out the revolutionary trends, and eventually forecast the possible future directions. The relevant articles and reviews from 2001 to 2020 were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection. The documents were processed by Clarivate Analytic associated with Web of Science database, Statistical Analysis Toolkit for Informetric, bibliometric online platform and VOSviewer, and the data were visualized. The bibliometric overview of the literature was described, citation analysis was performed, and research hotspots were showcased. The bibliometric analysis of 3362 documents of interest indicated that most of the relevant source titles were in the fields of toxicology, pharmacy, and materials science. The three research hotspots were the biological process of inhalable nano-systems in vivo, the manufacture of inhalable nano-systems, and the impact of nano-systems on human health in the environment. Toxicity and safety have always been the keywords. The USA was the major contributing country, and international collaboration and co-authorship were common phenomena. The general situation and development trend of literature of inhalable nano-systems were summarized.
