В статье рассматриваются средства конструирования медиапамяти в политическом медиадискурсе как разновидности гибридного дискурса. The article deals with the peculiarities of actualizing, conveying, and keeping memories in political media discourse, regarded as a hybrid product of mediatization of political discourse. An attempt is made to reveal the means of constructing media memory, i. e. a digital system of keeping and conveying information about the past, in political media discourse considering its hybrid character.

Moreover, the article establishes the specificity of implicit meanings possessing political and ideological nature. The study is conducted within the framework of discourse analysis that helps establish the relationship between linguistic and extralinguistic phenomena in the texts of political blogs and reality.

В статье рассматриваются метафорические модели и особенности их функционирования в жанре "политическая email-рассылка" в период предвыборных кампаний 2016-2022 гг. в США. The election campaigns of the last decades are known for their massive shifts to the sphere of virtual communication. This tendency leads to the need for searching effective means of establishing contact with each voter under the circumstances of mediated communication to exercise further manipulative, suggestive and persuasive influence on them. The article examines metaphor as one of the main tools of verbal manipulation in the genre of political e-mailing. The theoretical foundation of the study rests on the conceptual metaphor theory. The aim of the research is to identify the metaphorical models and the specificity of their functioning in the genre of political e-mailing.

Due to the fact that metonymy acts as a cognitive mechanism of the human brain, some research on multimodal metonymy has emerged. In the field of linguistics, the study of multimodal metaphor and metonymy is a new topic of discourse analysis, and this research object has also shifted from the area of verbal metaphor and metonymy to multimodal metaphor and metonymy. The scope of research of this paper covers a series of cartoons published in a specialized section of the news portal China Daily. The author discusses the role of multimodal metaphor and metonymy in Chinese anti-pandemic cartoons, and examines the main types of multimodal metaphors in them.

В статье рассматривается роль интернет-мемов в реализации технологии "мягкая сила". Today, the current digital space is a source of information and emotions, a way of communication, a platform for self-expression and performs many other functions. The study of social activity in a virtual environment is becoming an important and urgent task. A significant number of tools for influencing the "right" target audience are being formed and actively used on the Internet. Because of the insufficient formation of critical thinking, young people can easily fall prey to provocations organized by manipulating images and meanings through the use of soft-power technology. The protests observed in many regions of Russia today are caused not so much by active calls for aggressive behavior, as by a soft, unobtrusive, implicit, but consistent influence on the addressee's consciousness. The purpose of this research is to develop the conceptual apparatus necessary to describe the concept of soft power in the aspect of studying the ways of world modeling of young people, as well as to determine the role of Internet memes in the implementation of the soft power technology. It is noted that soft power, initially considered on an international scale, also manifests itself in the intra-national cultural and political space, therefore it can be used to create an idea, consolidating society, as an axial factor of development. In this regard, it becomes clear why young people frequently turn to Internet memes, which have become a popular language of communication among them.

Recently, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China have actively been answering on their online public relations platforms questions of the population members from all circles of the society using social networking services with a large number of users, which facilitates bilateral communication with the society and dissemination of official information about the policy of China. This is associated with the change in the Internet space in the early 21st century: in the modern social media, transmission and reception of information is often carried out in dialogic and interactive mode. Based on the analysis of the activity of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs press service, the author studies the role of social networking sites in political communication, and specifically their role in the creation of the national image of the country. The article analyzes three aspects of Internet communication: content, communication channels and its language strategie.

It presents an attempt of a psycholinguistic description of their meanings on the basis of an associative experiment, in which the participants were asked to define "cyberbullying" and to enumerate their associations with the word "cyberbully".

В статье рассматривается мультимедиальный код как закономерный этап развития человеческой коммуникации в новых технологических условиях. The development of Internet technologies and multimedia makes it possible to create texts incorporating signs of various codes, both verbal and nonverbal, alphabetical and non-alphabetical. This allows posing a hypothesis about the formation of a new multimedia language code in the communicative space of the Internet. This code is considered to be a logical stage in the development of human communication under new technological conditions but not as an anthropological regression.
