Communication is a skill that people have used since ancient times. Although communication differs in terms of its features in the process, it can be basically defined as the ability to understand and explain. The concept of "writing" has a special place in the skill of telling. Because the development of civilizations has generally been thanks to written culture. Knowledge and culture have been transferred to future generations through writings and have preserved their importance until today. The aim of this study is to examine the 6th grade students' ability to express their feelings, thoughts, dreams and impressions in writing, considering the importance of writing skills, in terms of various variables. In this direction, the case study design, one of the qualitative research methods, was preferred in the study. The research group of the study consists of 75 students at the 6th grade level in a state secondary school located in the southeast of Turkey and 5 Turkish teachers working in the same institution. In the data collection process of the study, firstly, a text with a free theme was written to the students. The data obtained from these texts were analyzed with the writing skill level determination rubric prepared by Bahşi (2018). In addition, student writings were evaluated in accordance with the scoring directive by using the attitude scale developed by Can and Ünal (2017) to determine the students' attitudes towards writing. Then, semi-structured interviews were conducted with Turkish teachers. In these interviews, teachers' opinions were taken on the variables that affect the students' writing skill levels. When the findings obtained from the study were interpreted, it was seen that the students' writing skill levels were not sufficient, but their attitudes towards writing were positive. In addition, this situation was affected by teacher, student, program and environment variables as a whole. However, it is seen that the environment variable negatively affects the level of writing skill in a dominant way.

Grammar is a discipline of study that investigates language in terms of sound, form, and sentence structure and establishes rules for these. Grammar instruction comprises exercises that help students comprehend a language's sounds, forms, and sentence patterns to utilize it efficiently and correctly. As a result, grammar instruction may be viewed as an area that assists pupils in developing good comprehension and expression abilities. According to European Language Portfolio, grammar is a collection of principles that assist fundamental abilities such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Grammar education's goal in this respect is not to make individuals memorize rules but to help them grasp and apply them to their comprehension and expression abilities. Texts have a crucial role in teaching grammar through implication in this scenario. The text has been regarded as a communication unit due to contemporary linguistics. Language structures are text-creation tools. As a result, language instruction should take this into account. The aim of this study is to investigate the extent to which reading texts used in teaching Turkish to foreigners convey grammar functions. In this study, the reading texts of the New Istanbul Turkish Textbook for International Students (B1-B2) and the New Hitit Turkish Textbook for Foreigners (B1-B2) have been comparatively examined to determine the extent to which they reflect the taught grammar functions. This research aims to investigate the tendencies of the studies conducted on anxiety in Turkish language teaching. The object of investigation of the research, which is confined only to four basic language skills, consists of graduate dissertations and articles published between 2010-2019. The document review method is applied in the study. According to the findings, it was found that most studies on anxiety were prepared as research articles; a significant increase has been in research in the last five years and the studies are mostly based on writing and speaking rather than basic language skills. As for the models used in the studies, it was determined that survey-model studies are predominant, and secondary school students, undergraduate students and foreign students are the most preferred sample groups. It was observed that the number range between 1-100 was the most preferred number of students samples. In the studies conducted on the effects of various variables on anxiety, it was determined that the gender and grade level variables were examined more than other variables. Bu çalışmanın amacı, üst düzey düşünme becerilerinden biri olan analitik düşünmenin Türkçe eğitiminin temel dil becerileriyle ilişkisini ortaya koymak ve bu konuda teorik bir çerçeve oluşturmaktır. Türkçe öğretiminde üst düzey düşünme becerilerinin kazandırılmasında yaşanan problemler, alanyazındaki çalışmalar ve PISA sınavlarındaki üst düzey düşünebilen başarılı öğrenci oranının azlığı ile açıkça görülebilmektedir. Bu doğrultuda, derleme makale formatında hazırlanan bu çalışmada, nitel araştırma desenlerinden temel nitel araştırma deseni kullanılmıştır. Analiz birimi olarak yenilenmiş Bloom taksonomisinin analiz basamağının alt boyutları olan ayırt etme, organize etme ve ilişkilendirme / dayandırma boyutları kullanılmış ve buna göre temel dil becerileri ile analitik düşünme becerileri ilişkilendirilmiştir. Ardından bu üç başlığa yönelik etkinlik örnek olarak hazırlanan etkinlik ya da sorular yine aynı doğrultuda ele alınmıştır. Sonuç olarak analitik düşünme becerisinin eğitim yoluyla geliştirilebileceği, sentez ve değerlendirme gibi daha üst basamaklarındaki düşünme becerilerinin geliştirilmesi için ön hazırlığı teşkil ettiği ortaya koyularak bu konuda yapılabilecek yeni araştırmalar için öneriler sunulmuştur.

Hikâyeler, hem katılımı destekleyen hem de günlük hayatın yansıması olmasından dolayı yüzyıllardır dil öğretiminde önemli birer materyal olmuşlardır. Gelişen iletişim teknolojileri ile sözlü ve yazılı kültür ürünlerinden olan hikâyeler dijital dünyaya taşınmışlardır. Bu gelişen teknoloji ile birlikte bir hikâyenin, ses ve görsel öğelerle desteklenerek dijital ortama aktarılmasıyla oluşan en fazla üç dakikalık “Dijital Hikâyeler” varlığını göstermiştir. Araştırmanın amacı, İlköğretim Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı ve Kılavuzu (6., 7., 8. Sınıflar) (MEB:2006)’nda yer alan temel dil becerilerine ait amaç ve kazanımların öğretiminde etkili olan dijital hikaye anlatımlarının, ana dili eğitimi derslerinde kullanılmak üzere tanıtılmasıdır. Kuramsal bir temele dayanan çalışmada veri toplama tekniği olarak doküman analizi kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde ise betimsel analiz tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmada, dijital hikâye anlatımlarının, temel dil becerilerinin aktarılmasında etkili olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

The aim of study is to determine teacher candidates' ideas about basic language skills. In this study, it was used phenomenology from qualitative research methods. A hundred eleven teacher candidates who study departments of Turkish Education, Classroom Teaching and Preschool Teaching in the Faculty of Kazım Karabekir at the University of Atatürk have participated. The data were collected by "The Form of Teacher Candidates' Opinions in Basic Language Skills" which has been developed by researchers. Form consists of open - ended questions. For Validity of the form, expert opinion was taken. Technique of content analysis was used to analyze of the data. Results of the analyze were visualized by percent and frequency tables. Teacher candidates have poitnted to problems of basic language skills that we have known them previously. This state shows that they have an awereness to problems related to basic language skills. This study has been carried out in order to evaluate the effects of child literature upon the existence and the development the of vocabulary. The concept of vocabulary and the its related elements were discussed and outlined in this study. How does a child internalize oral literature since the acquisition of mother tongue and the the effects of this on child development has been evaluated with examples. The distribution of main language abilities and their relationships with child literature has been demonstrated on the scheme and explained in a detailed way. The interaction among the elements of acquired vocabulary in connection with depth, weight, width and associations has been set an example and the relationship between literary genres and vocabulary has been evaluated by giving examples from the previous studies in detail. Grammar can be briefly defined as a discipline that studies a language in terms of phonetics, form and sentence structures; and determines the rules concerning these. As for grammar teaching, it is a process of enabling students to sense the phonetics, form and sentence structures of a language by making use of particular methods; and carrying out activities which help them use language effectively, accurately and smoothly. Therefore, grammar teaching can be seen as an assistant and supportive field, which helps students to acquire the skills of comprehension and expression in an effective way. As a matter of fact, it is stated in the Curriculum and Guidebook of Primary School Turkish Course (6th - 8th grade) that, grammar is "a body of rules supporting the basic skills of a language such as listening/watching, speaking, reading and writing". In this respect, grammar teaching does not aim to make students memorize a set of rules; but it aims to make them understand those rules so that they are able to utilize them through skills of understanding and expression. In this study, the use of Turkish language course based on tabletpc is aimed to develop a valid and reliable attitude scale whichdetermines the impact of language skills, In the process of creation anddevelopment of the draft scale, item pool was created and consultedexperts with scaning. In 5-point Likert- type scale which has thenumber of questions the premise of the draft 20 item, the use of tabletpc basic language skills in Turkish language course (reading, listening,speaking and writing) contains substances to determine whether thereis an effect. Substances, were obtained by transforming the pattern oflanguage skills achievements into question that were determined inTurkish curriculum. Draft scale was applied to 114 students studyingat year 5 of Uşak City Center of Yaşar Akar and Bingol City CenterIMKB Fatih Elementary School of which were selected as pilot area ofFatih Project. Content validity of the scale were based on expert opinion.As a result of factor analysis to determine the validity of the structureconsisting of 16 items, factor loadings .50 - .84 between the threedimensions of explaining covering 56% of the total variance wereobtained from a scale. 9 of the scale items were positive, 7 of themcontains negative expression. Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin value of the scale was.85, .00 and the Bartlett test of significance value of the Cronbach'salpha internal consistency coefficient was found to be .90. As a result ofthe review of the literature to determine the impact of language skills inTurkish language course based on the use of tablet pc in the sense ofbeing seen as a lack of scale, lack of validity and reliability of this scaleprovided is thought to contribute to the field. Bu çalışmada, Türkçe dersinde tablet pc kullanımının temel dil becerilerine etkisini belirlemeye yarayan, geçerli ve güvenilir bir tutum ölçeği geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Taslak ölçek oluşturma ve geliştirme sürecinde alan taraması yapılarak madde havuzu oluşturulmuş ve uzman görüşlerine başvurulmuştur. Öncül soru sayısı 20 maddeden oluşan 5’li likert tipi taslak ölçekte, Türkçe dersinde tablet pc kullanımının temel dil becerilerine (okuma, dinleme, konuşma ve yazma) etkisinin olup olmadığını belirlemeye yarayan maddeler yer almaktadır. Maddeler, Türkçe dersi öğretim programında belirlenen dil becerileri kazanımlarının soru kalıbına dönüştürülmesi ile elde edilmiştir. Taslak ölçek, Fatih Projesi kapsamında pilot bölge olarak seçilen Uşak İl Merkezi Yaşar Akar İlköğretim Okulu ile Bingöl İl Merkezi İMKB Fatih İlköğretim Okulu I. kademe 5. sınıfta öğretim gören 114 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Ölçeğin kapsam geçerliliği uzman görüşleri alınarak sağlanmıştır. Yapı geçerliliğini belirlemek için yapılan faktör analizi sonucunda 16 maddeden oluşan, faktör yükleri .50-.84 arasında, toplam varyansın % 56’sını açıklayan üç alt boyutu kapsayan bir ölçek elde edilmiştir. Ölçek maddelerinin 9’u olumlu, 7 tanesi olumsuz ifade içermektedir. Ölçeğin Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin değeri .85, Bartlett testi anlamlılık değeri .00 ve Cronbach-alpha iç tutarlılık” katsayısının ise .90 olduğu bulunmuştur. Yapılan literatür taraması sonucunda Türkçe dersinde tablet pc kullanımının temel dil becerilerine etkisini belirleme anlamında bir ölçeğin bulunmaması bir eksiklik olarak görüldüğünden, geçerlilik ve güvenirliği sağlanan bu ölçeğin alana katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.

Nowadays, basic language skills are tought within the curriculumof teaching Turkish as a part of the formal education programmes.Whereas, it was tought through the use of literary texts in the pasttimes, when there was not any school presenting mother tongueeducation. The basic language skills of listening, reading, speaking andwriting were mostly learned by the way of cultural socialisation with theuse of literary texts.In this work, the basic language skills in Mantıku’t-tayr whichwas written in old Anatolian Turkish of 14th century have been detectedand revealed the correspondance level of these skills with the functionsin Turkish Language Teaching Programme (6th, 7th and 8th grades).This work is based on document analysis, all the 4440 couplets inMantıku’t – Tayr have been scanned and through this scanning 1070couplets related to basic language skills have been detected whichinclude 878 couplets of speaking, 38 couplets of writing, 76 couplets oflistening and 79 couplets of reading and the irrelevant couplets haven’tbeen evaluated. It’s been seen that the listening skill in this work hasbeen used mostly through hearing / auditory (49 couplets). It’s beenemphasized that the spoken words in the listening activities must belistened very carefully. Once again it’s been stated that good listening isthe basis of good understanding. The couplets related to speaking skillshave been detected the most. The importance of elocution, answeringthe questions properly and on time, solving the problems by talking andevaluation of self-speech have been emphasized. The importance ofreading various works has been dwelt on. The writing skill has beenprocessed mostly through the writing species and writing materials. Thecouplets involving the basic language skills have been examined and it’sbeen seen that the skills in this work are corresponded with thefunctions of today’s Turkish Lesson Teaching Programme. Henceforth, itis thought necessary and fruitful to utilise this kind of sources in thedesign and execution of the relevant curricula. Günümüzde, temel dil becerileri örgün eğitim kurumlarında Türkçe öğretimi programı içerisinde verilirken; geçmişte, ana dili öğretimi yapan okulların henüz var olmadığı dönemlerde, edebî metinlerde örtük olarak yer almıştır. Anlama becerilerinden dinleme ve okuma ile anlatma becerilerinden konuşma ve yazma becerileri kültür aktarımı yoluyla edebî metinlerden okuyucusuna ulaşmayı başarmıştır.Bu çalışmada XIV. yüzyıl Eski Anadolu Türkçesi eserlerinden olan Mantıku’t-tayr’daki temel dil becerileri tespit edilmiş ve tespit edilen becerilerin Türkçe Dersi (6, 7, 8. sınıflar) Öğretim Programı’ndaki kazanımlarla örtüşme düzeyi ortaya konmuştur. Çalışma doküman incelemesine dayalı olarak yapılmış, eserdeki 4440 beytin tamamı taranmış, bu tarama sonucunda temel dil becerileriyle ilgili 878’i konuşma, 38’i yazma, 76’sı dinleme ve 79’u okuma olmak üzere toplam 1070 beyit tespit edilmiş, ilgili olmayan beyitler değerlendirmeye alınmamıştır. Eserde dinleme becerisinin daha çok işitme/duyma (49 beyit) yönüyle kullanıldığı görülmüştür. Dinleme sırasında söylenen sözlerin dikkate alınması ve dikkatle dinlenmesi gerektiği vurgulanmıştır. Yine iyi dinlemenin, söyleneni anlamanın temeli olduğu belirtilmiştir. Eserde en çok, konuşma becerisiyle ilgili beyit tespit edilmiştir. Söz söylerken güzel konuşmanın önemi, sorulara düzgün ve vaktinde cevap verme, sorunlara konuşarak çözüm arama, kendi konuşmasını değerlendirme vurgulanmıştır. Okuma sırasında sadece aynı eseri okumak yerine bu eseri destekleyecek başka eserleri de okumanın önemi üzerinde durulmuştur. Yazma becerisi daha çok yazı türleri ve yazı materyallerinden bahsedilerek işlenmiştir. Eserde yer alan temel dil becerileriyle ilgili beyitler incelendiğinde, bu becerilerin Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı’ndaki kazanımlarla örtüştüğü görülmektedir. O halde bu tür eserlerin eğitim-öğretim programlarında yer almasının faydalı olacağı düşünülmektedir.
