This article discusses findings from a report by the Brain Tumour Charity on the experiences of treatment and care in the UK of more than 1,000 people with low and high-grade tumours. The report highlights the positive effects of access to clinical nurse specialists on symptom management, mental health and wellbeing. However, it notes that patients with low-grade tumours do not receive equity of access.
