Abstract
- This article discusses findings from a report by the Brain Tumour Charity on the experiences of treatment and care in the UK of more than 1,000 people with low and high-grade tumours. The report highlights the positive effects of access to clinical nurse specialists on symptom management, mental health and wellbeing. However, it notes that patients with low-grade tumours do not receive equity of access. The survey recommends that the government and health bodies review the number of nurses specialising in the care of patients with brain tumours. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
