Blue carbon is a term used to describe the carbon stored in coastal and marine ecosystems. Research and conservation of blue carbon sinks like seagrass meadows are important in mitigating global climate change. This research aimed to estimate blue carbon stored in the seagrass meadows ecosystem of Jelenga Bay, West Sumbawa, Indonesia. Carbon stock in the seagrass community was estimated based on correlation analysis of density, biomass, and organic carbon content. Meanwhile, the correlation analysis of dry bulk density and organic carbon content was used to estimate the susbtrate carbon stock. Four seagrass species were found in Jelenga Bay, i.e., Enhalus acoroides, Thalassia hemprichii, Cymodocea rotundata, and Halodule pinifolia. Carbon stock estimation of the seagrass community within 107.1 hectares area showed that aboveground biomass stored 19.1 Mg of carbon (0.18 Mg C/ha), whereas belowground biomass stored 28.4 Mg of carbon (0.26 Mg C/ha). Carbon stock estimation in seagrass meadows substrate (in 1 meter depth) stored 4,590.0 Mg C (42.86 Mg C/ha). The substrate at 70-100 cm depth contributed the highest amount of carbon stock, i.e., 14.9 Mg. However, for the organic carbon content, depth of 1530 cm showed the highest result (0.341 % of Dry Bulk Density).

Western aesthetics and eastern aesthetics have differences in their approaches and concepts towards beauty. Which oneThis Western aesthetic has its roots in Greek culture and is heavily influenced by classical Greek philosophy. Western aesthetics tends to focus on rationality and emphasize the human individual as conqueror of nature. Western aesthetics also emphasizes understanding beauty through rational analysis and criticism of works of art.On the other hand, Eastern Aesthetics is often associated with Buddhist philosophy and its teachings. Eastern aesthetics sees beauty as something abstract and symbolic that is considered a reality. This Eastern aesthetic places more emphasis on harmony between humans and nature and the benefits of philosophy for understanding native culture.Another difference between Western and Eastern Aesthetics is in the approach to art. Western aesthetics tends to appreciate works of art that emphasize uniqueness and individuality, while Eastern aesthetics values harmony and harmony in art. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) suffer persistent decreased kidney function. Previous study of protein hydrolysate of green pea (Pisum sativum) bromelain (PHGPB) has shown promising results as an antifibrotic in glucose-induced renal mesangial culture cells, by decreasing their TGF-β levels. To be effective, protein derived from PHGPB must provide adequate protein intake and reach the target organs. This paper presents a drug delivery system for the formulation of PHGPB using chitosan as polymeric nanoparticles. A PHGPB nano delivery system was synthesized by precipitation with fixed chitosan 0.1 wt.%, followed by a spray drying process at different aerosol flow rates of 1, 3, and 5 L/min. FTIR results showed that the PHGPB was entrapped in the chitosan polymer particles. Homogeneous size and spherical morphology of NDs were obtained for the chitosan-PHGPB with a flow rate of 1 L/min. Our in vivo study showed that the highest entrapment efficiency, solubility, and sustained release were achieved by the delivery system method at 1 L/min. It was concluded that the chitosan-PHGPB delivery system developed in this study improves pharmacokinetics compared to pure PHGPB. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

One of the movements that online preachers continue to campaign for is the mediatization of hadith. This is due to the transformation of da'wah media from conventional to digital. Mediatization of hadith, one of which is displayed in infographics such as Republika.co.id, is an online media that has also colored the new face of hadith reception on Indonesian social media. This paper aims to reveal da'wah's ideological bias or character in the mediatization of hadith. This article falls into the category of qualitative research. Data is collected or sourced from the online media website Republika.co.id, infographic channels, and focus on the religion column. It was revealed that there was a shift in the process of narrating religious texts caused by technological developments, thus presenting a new challenge for the preachers that the habit of the Indonesian people today is to love something instant. This article also finds the infographic content of hadith presented by Republika to be one of the portraits of the mediatization of hadith that was previously written in classical books. Now the infographic content has undergone several changes, including: there is a development of meaning, development of translation, limitation of meaning, and disharmony between the title of the content with the hadith delivered. The infographic content presented by Republika.co.id also has a moderating dimension, namely seeing empirical reality and not justifying understanding to one group. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper examines how energizing the organizational learning process improves embroidery SMEs' performance in Indonesia. Quantitative research was conducted to test the suggested model's relationships. We use covariance-based SEM to analyze the relationship between variables. To achieve the objectives of this study, a survey method was used for 205 SMEs consisting of owners, managers, and managers from a population of 280 embroidery SMEs in Tasikmalaya Regency and City, West Java. This study proposes a conceptual paradigm to energize organizational learning processes to improve the performance of embroidery SMEs in a dynamic environment. The findings show that the energizing organizational learning process positively affects embroidery business performance. The authors also discovered that an energizing corporate learning process moderates the relation between transformative leadership and organizational performance. This research only uses one type of leadership. It is possible to use several other types of leadership to be tested in an empirical model. Additionally, more sample variety should be considered in terms of cross-cultural comparative studies. This study addresses gaps in the literature and practice of transformational leadership, examining the interaction between energizing organizational learning processes and the efficacy of SME teamwork. Covid-19, one of the natural disasters that causes delays in construction projects. The temporary lockdown policy, which was imposed at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia, causes delays in construction project. One of the project experiencing delays is the construction of the Ploso Bridge. Scheduling methods were needed to speed up the construction works. Fast tracking and crashing methods were used in this research to accelerate the preparation and soil work in the critical path of the Ploso Bridge. The result of the research is that by using the fast tracking method the duration is accelerated by 18 days compared to the normal duration. Whereas using the crashing method by adding one and two overtime hours, this reduces the duration of the project by 13 and 23 days respectively. Therefore, the crashing method by adding two overtime hours seem to be the most effective method to accelerate the duration of the project. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

α-mangostin is a xanthone compound isolated from mangosteen pericarp. It is known as an anticancer through induction of apoptotic process by inhibiting fatty acid synthase (FAS) receptor. α-mangostin is a potentially useful ligand for diagnostic purposes in the form of complexes with a radionuclide such as 68Gallium (68Ga). Unfortunately, α-mangostin could not be directly labeled with radionuclides. In order to be labeled, a chelator such as 1,4,7-triazacyclononane-1,4,7-triacetic acid (NOTA), a derivative (NO2At), is required. The aim of this study was to find out the interaction of Fe-NO2At-α-mangostin complex compound against FAS receptor using molecular dynamics software. Both the metals have similar chemical characteristics. The results showed a strong interaction between Fe-NO2At-α-mangostin complex compound and FAS receptor. The molecular dynamic showed the complex compound Fe-NO2At-α-mangostin in FAS-KS which produced a bond-free energy values (ΔG) of − 96.7 kcal/mol, forming hydrogen bonds with amino acid residues Glu 115 and Ser 114. The model of molecular dynamic result could be used as a model for the production of 68Ga-α-mangostin in radiopharmaceutical. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
