This study explores the prognostic value of immune escape-related genes in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients. Using TARGET_AML and GSE37642 datasets, we identified CEP55, DNAJC13, and EMC2 as significant prognostic indicators, with high transcript abundance correlating with poor outcomes. Consensus clustering divided patients into two groups, with Cluster 1 showing worse prognosis. A prognostic signature based on these genes stratified patients into high- and low-risk groups, with the high-risk group experiencing worse outcomes. The risk score was an independent prognostic factor. Functional analysis revealed that high-risk genes could promote cell cycle progression. The selected genes were strongly associated with immune cells, particularly mast cells and CD8+ T cells. The purpose of this research was to examine the relationship between the hemoglobin-to-red blood cell distribution width ratio (HRR) and cardiovascular disease (CVD)-related mortality in people who have diabetes.Data derived from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), between the years 1999 to 2018, were meticulously analyzed. Mortality data, encompassing events until December 31, 2019, were systematically collected. A comprehensive group comprising of 8,732 participants were subjected to scrutiny, and subsequently, classified into four distinct groups predicated upon quartiles of baseline HRR levels: Q1 (n = 2,183), Q2 (n = 2,181), Q3 (n = 2,185), and Q4 (n = 2,183). The correlation between HRR and CVD-related mortality was examined through the use of survival curves and Cox proportional hazard regression models, the latter incorporating weights as advised by NHANES.Among the 8,732 participants in the study cohort, CVD-related mortality was identified in 710 cases. The Kaplan-Meier analysis demonstrated a significant association, indicating that a decreased HRR was correlated with a reduction in survival in cases with CVD. Both univariate and multivariable Cox proportional hazard regression analyses consistently indicated that patients exhibiting a lower HRR exhibited a markedly elevated risk of CVD-related mortality in comparison to those with higher HRR. Notably, the correlation between HRR and decreasing CVD-related mortality was discerned to be non-linear.In patients with diabetes, a decreased HRR was associated with an increased risk of CVD-related mortality. WO3 with different morphologies and structures was prepared via a simple hydrothermal process. The synthesized samples were characterized via different techniques. The effect of the amount of glacial acetic acid added to the precursor solution on the morphology and structure of WO3 samples was investigated. The amount of glacial acetic acid added was confirmed to be a key parameter in regulating the morphology and microstructure of WO3. The photocatalytic activities of the samples have been examined by the degradation of the model pollutant. The WO3 samples (WO3-20) with {001} facet orientation prepared in the presence of 20 mL glacial acetic acid showed a degradation rate of 96.16% for Rhodamine-B (RhB) within 40 min. The excellent performance should be attributed to its low band gap, high light absorption, excellent electron–hole separation efficiency, preferred orientation growth, and unique morphology. The results of quenching and capture experiments showed that the contribution order of different active species in the photocatalytic process is: ·O2− > ·OH > h+. Due to their distinctive flavors, edible mushrooms have gained attention in flavor-related research, and the quality of their flavors determines their consumption. The odor is a vital element of food flavor that significantly impacts consumers' perceptions and purchase decisions. The volatile organic compounds (VOCs) of the odorant ingredient is the primary factors affecting scent characteristics. VOCs analysis and identification require technical assistance. The production and use of edible mushrooms can be aided by a broader examination of their volatile constituents. This review discusses the composition of VOCs in edible mushrooms and how they affect flavors. The principles, advantages, and disadvantages of various methods for extraction, isolation, and characterization of the VOCs of edible mushrooms are also highlighted. The numerous VOCs found in edible mushrooms such as primarily C-8 compounds, organic sulfur compounds, aldehydes, ketones, alcohols, and esters are summarized along with their effects on the various characteristics of scent. Combining multiple extraction, isolation, identification, and quantification technologies will facilitate rapid and accurate analysis of VOCs in edible mushrooms as proof of sensory attributes and quality. A key factor in the photoelectrochemical (PEC) performance of photoelectrodes is the efficient separation and transfer of photogenerated charges. Herein, a novel photoanode comprising three‐dimensional (3D) WO3 nanoplate@ZnO nanosheet hierarchical type‐II heterojunction arrays (3D WO3@ZnO HHAs) is designed and constructed via modification of the WO3 nanoplate arrays with ZnO nanosheets. The synthesized materials are characterized viaX‐ray diffraction (XRD), ultraviolet and visible spectrophotometry (UV–vis), scanning electon microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analyses. Photoelectrochemical (PEC) test results reveal that the synthesized 3D WO3@ZnO HHAs photoanode exhibits reduced charge transfer resistance, improved electron‐hole pair life, and enhanced photocurrent density (≈4.5 times increase in comparison to that of the bare WO3). The increased light capture and high surface area in contact with the electrolyte as well as the enhanced charge transfer through the synergy between morphology and band structures may be responsible for the improved PEC characteristics. The Co3O4@TiO2 photoelectrode was prepared in two steps on the F-doped SnO2 conductive glass (FTO). The appearance and internal structure of the samples were tested by XRD and SEM, The photoelectric properties of the electrodes were tested by an electrochemical workstation. Photoelectrochemical (PEC) test results shows that the photocurrent density of Co3O4@TiO2 photoelectric electrode is 0.8mA ▪ cm-2.

Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a malignant blood cancer with a poor prognosis and complex pathogenesis. Recently, the critical role of circular RNAs (circRNAs) has been demonstrated in the malignant progression of AML. This study aimed to investigate the functional role and underlying mechanism of circ_0001602 in AML development. Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) assay was conducted for detecting the expression of circ_0001602, CCND3, microRNA-192-5p (miR-192-5p), and Zinc Finger and BTB Domain-Containing Protein 20 (ZBTB20) mRNA. RNase R assay and Actinomycin D assay were implemented to determine the characteristics of circ_0001602. Cell counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) assay was performed to evaluate cell proliferation. Flow cytometry was employed for assessing cell cycle distribution and apoptosis. Dual-luciferase reporter assay and RIP assay were utilized for confirming the interactions between miR-192-5p and circ_0001602 or ZBTB20. Circ_0001602 and ZBTB20 were upregulated and miR-192-5p level was reduced in AML tissues and cells. Depletion of circ_0001602 repressed cell proliferation and induced cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in AML cells. Functionally, circ_0001602 was identified to be the sponge of miR-192-5p, and miR-192-5p silence restored the suppressive effects of circ_0001602 knockdown on AML cell progression. Furthermore, ZBTB20 was a target of miR-192-5p, and ZBTB20 overexpression neutralized the miR-192-5p-mediated inhibiting actions on the malignant phenotypes of AML cells. Besides, circ_0001602 could sponge miR-192-5p to positively regulate ZBTB20 expression. A simple template-free solvothermal method was employed to prepare ZnSnO3 cubic structures loaded with BiOI nanosheets. The composition, morphology, microstructure, and physicochemical properties were characterized using XRD, SEM, and UV–vis spectroscopy. The effect of the solvents, reaction times, temperature, and the molar ratio of Bi to Sn on the morphology, structure, and performance of the samples was systematically investigated. With the increase in the molar ratio of Bi to Sn, the band gap of the composite decreases from 3.24 to 1.95 eV and then increases to 1.97 eV. The photocatalytic properties of the as-obtained samples were studied in detail. The photocatalytic activity of the typical sample (B3Z7) was about 7.64 times higher than that of the pure ZnSnO3 sample, which should be attributed to their enhanced light absorption, small band gap, and distinctive morphology and structure. The electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and photocurrent density test show that the heterostructure can promote the charge transfer and separation efficiency of the photogenerated carriers in the as-synthesized composite sample. Nitrogen content is one of the essential elements in citrus leaves (CL), and many studies have been conducted to determine the nutrient content in CL using hyperspectral technology. To address the key problem that the conventional spectral data-denoising algorithms directly discard high-frequency signals, resulting in missing effective signals, this study proposes a denoising preprocessing algorithm, complete ensemble empirical mode decomposition with adaptive noise joint sparse representation (CEEMDAN–SR), for CL hyperspectral data. For this purpose, 225 sets of fresh CL were collected at the Institute of Fruit Tree Research of the Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, to measure their elemental nitrogen content and the corresponding hyperspectral data. First, the spectral data were preprocessed using CEEMDAN–SR, Stein's unbiased risk estimate and the linear expansion of thresholds (SURE–LET), sparse representation (SR), Savitzky–Golay (SG), and the first derivative (FD). Second, feature extraction was carried out using principal component analysis (PCA), uninformative variables elimination (UVE), and the competitive adaptive re-weighted sampling (CARS) algorithm. Finally, partial least squares regression (PLSR), support vector regression (SVR), random forest (RF), and Gaussian process regression (GPR) were used to construct a CL nitrogen prediction model. The results showed that most of the prediction models preprocessed using the CEEMDAN–SR algorithm had better accuracy and robustness. The prediction models based on CEEMDAN–SR preprocessing, PCA feature extraction, and GPR modeling had an R 2 of 0.944, N R M S E of 0.057, and R P D of 4.219. The study showed that the CEEMDAN–SR algorithm can be effectively used to denoise CL hyperspectral data and reduce the loss of effective information. The prediction model using the CEEMDAN–SR+PCA+GPR algorithm could accurately obtain the nitrogen content of CL and provide a reference for the accurate fertilization of citrus trees. Pigment is an important food additive that plays a major role in the sensory impact of food. And natural sources, healthy and non-toxic edible pigments are receiving a lot of attention. Algae is an important source of natural pigments, and contain chlorophyll, phycoerythrin, carotene, and other natural pigments. Besides staining, the pigment also has powerful physiological activities such as antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, anti-obesity, and lipid-lowering. In this paper, three pigments in seaweed were reviewed, and their main structural properties and functions are presented, filling the gap in the review of pigments with seaweed as the main object of introduction. Pompon-like Bi2WO6 hierarchical nanostructures (BWO HNs) were obtained through a simple hydrothermal synthesis method. XRD, SEM, TEM, UV–vis spectroscopy, and N2 adsorption–desorption have been used to measure their microstructure and physicochemical properties. The photocatalytic properties of the products have been tested by photodegradation of norfloxacin (NOR) and difloxacin hydrochloride (DFL). The pompon-like BWO HNs samples exhibited excellent photoactivity in antibiotic removal, and as much as 97.67% of NOR and 93.87% of DFL could be efficiently degraded in 120 min. In addition, the photocatalytic activity of the BWO HNs samples showed slight changes after five consecutive cycles, displaying good stability and good potential application value. The transverse momentum (p T) spectra of charged particles measured in Au + Au collisions from the beam energy scan (BES) program, Cu + Cu collisions at s N N = 62.4 , 200 GeV at the RHIC and Pb + Pb, Xe + Xe collisions at the LHC are investigated in the framework of Tsallis thermodynamics. The theory can describe the experimental data well for all the collision systems, energies and centralities investigated. The collision energy and centrality dependence of the Tsallis distribution parameters, i.e., the temperature T and the nonextensive parameter q, for the A + A collisions are also studied and discussed. With the merits of low cost, simple synthesis procedure, and high affinity for metal ions, deoxyribozyme (DNAzyme) have played important roles in metal ions detection. However, the intracellular applications of DNAzyme are limited because of enzymatic degradation and inefficient cellular uptake. To address these problems, GR-5 as model DNAzyme was encapsulated into zeolitic imidazolate frameworks-8 (ZIF-8) nanoparticles by biomimetic mineralization. The positively charged ZIF-8 with high DNAzyme loading capacity retained their ability to enter cells. Compared with free DNAzyme, the biomimetic mineralization synthesis method has greatly improved the stability of pristine DNAzyme. The as-synthesized DNAzyme@ZIF-8 composite exhibited good stability resisting DNase I, and was used as a sensitive fluorescent nanoprobe for Pb2+ determination and successfully achieved selective and sensitive determination for Pb2+ at λex/λem = 494/522 nm in real samples. The linear range for the determination of Pb2+ is 50 to 500 nM. Moreover, the highly active DNAzyme delivered by ZIF-8 allows noninvasive imaging of Pb2+ measurement in living cells. In high energy physics and nuclear physics experiments, particularly the ones based on a particle accelerator, the data rate from the detector is usually in the order of terabytes per second. These high throughput data from detector front-end electronics (FEEs) need to be transmitted to the back-end computing farm for high-level event selection and building. A data acquisition (DAQ) system with the features of high density, scalable, and easily upgradeable is crucial to simplify the readout architecture of the whole experiment. This article will introduce the design of a generic high bandwidth PCIe card, which can be used as the important input–output card in a scalable DAQ system. It can factorize FEEs from data handling and reduce the amount of custom hardware in favor of scalable detector-independent commercial hardware and software. Besides the 48 channels of bidirectional high-speed fiber optical links with front ends, it also supports to synchronize with the experiment timing system and to fan-out the clock and trigger information with a fixed latency to the FEEs. Urban integration is an increasingly popular phenomenon. It is important to characterize the dynamic processes of urban integration from the perspective of geography. However, previous studies mainly focussed on the overall characteristics of a single entity and failed to consider inter-city influences. Therefore, this study aims to systematically investigate this phenomenon. Firstly, spatial clustering technique and landscape metric were used to analyze the temporal change of spatial layout. Secondly, we built multiple ring buffers of city boundary to reveal the directional differences in urban expansion. Lastly, we compared the observed land use data with the results simulated by cellular automata model. These experiments have shown that the urban expansion characteristics during the urban integration process are rather different from those of a single city, and the above methodology can effectively characterize the urban integration phenomenon.
