Review on Tungsten Trioxide Used as Photocatalytic Materials.

With the rapid development of economy and the acceleration of urbanization, the discharge of pollutants is increasing, especially water pollution, which seriously threatens people's health. In recent years, a large number of photocatalysts have been developed and used for wastewater treatment. Tungsten trioxide (WO₃) is a kind of photocatalytic materials that can respond to visible light. The preparation methods, morphology, size, photocatalytic properties and modification of WO₃ photocatalyst were reviewed with domestic and foreign literature, and the research and development trend of WO₃ based photocatalyst materials were prospected.
