Face recognition is widely used in daily life such as shopping,security check,travel,payment and work attendance.Face recognition systems need strong computing power and large storage space,so face images that need to be recognized are usually transmitted to the cloud platform through the network.Due to the problems of network coverage,congestion and delay,face re-cognition systems are difficult to meet the needs of actual application,and the user experience is poor.Aiming at the problems in face recognition,a face recognition method based on edge-cloud collaboration is proposed.This method combines the processing ability of cloud computing and the real-time performance of edge computing,so that face recognition systems are not constrained by the network status,and its application is more extensive and the user experience is better.In the cloud,the LResNet feature extraction method is proposed to improve the ResNet34 network structure,and the ArcFace face loss function is used to supervise the training process,so that the network can learn more face angle features.At the edge,due to the limited computing resources and storage resources,a SResNet feature extraction method is proposed.Deep separable convolution is used to lighten the LResNet network structure,and it has greatly reduced network parameters and computation.The face recognition experiment on edge-cloud collaboration shows that the system can recognize faces in real time with a high accuracy rate under any network status.

High-precision height acquisition needs to correct the interferometric parameters errors by interferometric calibration for Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) system with many Ground Control Points (GCPs). For the situation that some areas probably only have little GCPs or even no GCPs, a new high-precision calibration method for airborne InSAR based on bundle adjustment is needed, in which the Control Points (CP) selection method is a major point which has a crucial influence on the precision of InSAR calibration. A model-based CP selection method for calibration of airborne InSAR with sparse GCPs is proposed in this paper, which adopts the polynomial model fit method to choose CP based on the sensitivity characteristic of inSAR interferometric parameters. A joint calibration is made with the real InSAR data and the results confirm the validity and rationality of the proposed method.

The antenna pattern uncertainty is the main error of SAR system. The technique for inflight antenna pattern measurement of spaceborne SAR is one of the most important technique of SAR calibration. This paper discusses the development courses of the inflight antenna pattern measurement of spaceborne SAR, analyses its development trend and compares the main inflight antenna pattern measurement techniques. This paper will be an important reference for designing a project of inflight antenna pattern measurement of spaceborne SAR.

With the increasingly fierce market competition, manufacturing enterprises have to continuously improve their competitiveness through their collaboration and labor division with each other, i.e. forming manufacturing enterprise collaborative network (MECN) through their collaboration and labor division is an effective guarantee for obtaining competitive advantages. To explore the topology and evolutionary process of MECN, in this paper we investigate an empirical MECN from the viewpoint of complex network theory, and construct an evolutionary model to reproduce the topological properties found in the empirical network. Firstly, large-size empirical data related to the automotive industry are collected to construct an MECN. Topological analysis indicates that the MECN is not a scale-free network, but a small-world network with disassortativity. Small-world property indicates that the enterprises can respond quickly to the market, but disassortativity shows the risk spreading is fast and the coordinated operation is difficult. Then, an evolutionary model based on fitness preferential attachment and entropy-TOPSIS is proposed to capture the features of MECN. Besides, the evolutionary model is compared with a degree-based model in which only node degree is taken into consideration. The simulation results show the proposed evolutionary model can reproduce a number of critical topological properties of empirical MECN, while the degree-based model does not, which validates the effectiveness of the proposed evolutionary model. Skeletal muscle growth and development are highly orchestrated processes involving significant changes in gene expressions. Differences in the location-specific and breed-specific genes and pathways involved have important implications for meat productions and meat quality. Here, RNA-Seq was performed to identify differences in the muscle deposition between two muscle locations and two duck breeds for functional genomics studies. To achieve those goals, skeletal muscle samples were collected from the leg muscle (LM) and the pectoral muscle (PM) of two genetically different duck breeds, Heiwu duck (H) and Peking duck (P), at embryonic 15 days. Functional genomics studies were performed in two experiments: Experiment 1 directly compared the location-specific genes between PM and LM, and Experiment 2 compared the two breeds (H and P) at the same developmental stage (embryonic 15 days). Almost 13 million clean reads were generated using Illumina technology (Novogene, Beijing, China) on each library, and more than 70% of the reads mapped to the Peking duck (Anas platyrhynchos) genome. A total of 168 genes were differentially expressed between the two locations analyzed in Experiment 1, whereas only 8 genes were differentially expressed when comparing the same location between two breeds in Experiment 2. Gene Ontology (GO) and the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathways (KEGG) were used to functionally annotate DEGs (differentially expression genes). The DEGs identified in Experiment 1 were mainly involved in focal adhesion, the PI3K-Akt signaling pathway and ECM-receptor interaction pathways (corrected P-value<0.05). In Experiment 2, the DEGs were associated with only the ribosome signaling pathway (corrected P-value<0.05). In addition, quantitative real-time PCR was used to confirm 15 of the differentially expressed genes originally detected by RNA-Seq. A comparative transcript analysis of the leg and pectoral muscles of two duck breeds not only improves our understanding of the location-specific and breed-specific genes and pathways but also provides some candidate molecular targets for increasing muscle products and meat quality by genetic control. CYP11A1 encodes the first enzyme of steroid biosynthesis, cytochrome P450scc. The expression of CYP11A1 in the nervous system allows neurosteroids to be synthesized de novo. In the classic steroidogenic tissues, adrenals and gonads, the key regulator controlling CYP11A1 expression is steroidogenic factor-1 (SF-1), but the transcriptional regulation of CYP11A1 in the brain is unclear. We recently used the 4.4-kb regulatory region of the human CYP11A1 gene to drive Cre recombinase expression in the diencephalon and midbrain. In this study, we characterized the regional-specific expression of Cre reporter in the SCC-Cre transgenic brain using a transient Cre/ROSA26R transgenic system. Mutation of either the upstream or proximal SF-1 binding site did not affect brain CYP11A1 promoter activity. The upstream SF-1 binding site, however, is required for CYP11A1 promoter function in the embryonic adrenals. The 3.8-kb promoter, like the 4.4-kb length promoter, directed Cre expression in the diencephalon, midbrain and olfactory epithelium, whereas Cre expression controlled by the 2.7-kb promoter was only observed in the caudal part of midbrain. This suggests that the 5′-flanking region between 3.8 and 2.7 kb contains a crucial element for activation of CYP11A1 promoter in the diencephalon, olfactory epithelium and the anterior part of midbrain. pNO40/PS1D, a novel nucleolar protein, has been characterized as a core protein of eukaryotic 60 S ribosome and at least two splicing forms of pNO40 mRNAs with alternative starting sites have been identified. Through production of knockout (ko) mice with either exon 2 (△E2), exon 4 (△E4) or △E2+E4 targeted disruption we identified a cryptic splicing product occurring in the ko tissues examined which in general cannot be observed in regular RT-PCR detection of wild-type (wt) animals. Among ko animals, △E4 null embryos exhibited prominent senescence-associated β-galactosidase (SA-β-gal) staining, a marker for senescent cells, in notochord, forelimbs and heart while bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) from △E4 null mice developed accelerated aging and osteogenic differentiation defects compared to those from wt and other isoform mutant mice. Examination of the causal relationship between pNO40 deficiency and MSC-accelerated aging revealed △E4 null disruption in MSCs elicits high levels of ROS and elevated expression levels of p16 and Rb but not p53. Further analysis with iTraq identified CYP1B1, a component of the cytochrome p450 system, as a potential molecule mediating ROS generation in pNO40 deficient MSCs. We herein established a mouse model of MSC aging through pNO40-targeted depletion and demonstrated the effects of loss of pNO40 on bone homeostasis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A novel method was developed for Heck reaction of olefins and arylboronic acids using a ligand-free PdCl2 catalyst to afford the coupling products with excellent regio- and stereoselectivity. We reported a novel method to fabricate both spherical and nonspherical PDMS (Polydimethylsiloxane) particles of amphiphilic property. PDMS particles were first obtained using microfluidic devices. A layer of PAA (poly (acrylic acid)) polymer was then selectively grafted on a section of particle surface. After modification, PDMS particles exhibited an amphiphilic property. We demonstrated the assembly of spherical particles at the water/oil interface as well as the deformation of cuboidal particles which possessed a bowl-shaped structure after deformation.
