Kepler-90 system has a set of eight planets in a hierarchical structure. In this work, we used frequency analysis to study several Kepler-90 analogues to analyse in detail how the values of the eccentricity of each planet can alter the stability of the system. The system was formed by the star and eight planets for three different intervals of eccentricity (⁠|$e$|⁠). Our results show that for the first and second intervals, all the systems are stable. However, no set of Kepler-90 systems with large values of |$e$| survived up to |$10^5$| orbits of Kepler-90h. In the low-eccentricity interval, planets Kepler-90b and Kepler-90c were found to be in a 5:4 mean motion resonance, and the pair Kepler-90g and Kepler-90h in a 3:2 mean motion resonance, although these two pairs are in resonance in different Kepler-90 analogues. In the medium-eccentricity interval, only the pair Kepler-90g and Kepler-90h is in resonance. Kepler-90b and Kepler-90c are in quasi-resonance 5:4; the critical angle circulates and librates intermittently in different periods of time. The results statistically indicate that these resonances directly affect the most of them. The influence covers a wide range of possibilities: (i) a strong resonant mean motion coupling added to a coupling of the longitude of the pericentres; (ii) just a single resonant argument librating; (iii) intermittent behaviour, interleaving libration, and circulation of the resonant arguments; and (iv) the quasi-resonant influence due to the near commensurability. Fast radio bursts (FRBs) are extraordinary astrophysical phenomena characterized by short radio pulses that last only a few milliseconds, yet their power can surpass that of 500 million suns. To date, most detected FRBs originate from beyond our galaxy. However, if an FRB were to originate within the Milky Way, it could be detected using small antennas. In this paper, we propose a compact and ad-hoc antenna array designed for the efficient detection and localization of FRBs within the Milky Way. The antenna operates within the 1200–1800 MHz range and consists of three sub-arrays placed in an L-shape for source localization, occupying a total volume of 8 0 × 2 5 × 6 cm 3 . Each sub-array consists of 4 miniaturized, dual-polarized, half-space radiation antenna elements, forming a one-dimensional array that allows shaping the radiation pattern to match the form of the Milky Way without exhibiting grating lobes. A prototype was constructed and characterized to validate the design. The measured results exhibit good agreement with the simulations. In addition to having a custom elongated radiation pattern, the array has attractive merits, such as low reflections at the input ports, high radiation efficiency, and a distribution that inhibits the existence of phase ambiguities, thus facilitating source localization. Introducción: La gravedad, las implicancias neurológicas y el alto costo del tratamiento de la fractura cervical, hacen de esta lesión un tema de suma importancia. Esta injuria provoca graves limitaciones e invalidez a los afectados, en su mayoría en plena actividad laboral, impactando en lo médico, social y económico. Objetivos: Describir los pacientes tratados quirúrgicamente de fractura cervical traumática en el Hospital Regional Rancagua, por el equipo de Neurocirugía dentro de un periodo de 4 años. Materiales y Métodos: Se evaluó-24 pacientes con antecedente de fractura cervical el mecanismo del trauma, el tiempo transcurrido desde el ingreso hospitalario hasta la cirugía, nivel y compromiso de la lesión medular, tipo de abordaje quirúrgico, complicaciones médicas, quirúrgicas y seguimiento post-operatorio, entre otros. Resultados: 5 mujeres y 19 hombres, edad promedio 39 años (rango de edad 14 a 75 años), principales mecanismos de trauma fueron los accidentes automovilísticos-atropello (58%). El nivel medular más frecuentemente lesionado fue C4-C5 (25%). En el 50% de los pacientes se clasificó de entrada como Frankel A, por lo que un 50% de todos los pacientes ingresaron tetrapléjicos, y de estos, un 33% egresó tetraparéticos. Del ingreso a-cirugía hubo un tiempo de espera promedio 5 días. Dentro de las complicaciones médicas la causa respiratoria (46%) fue la más frecuente, necesitando 64% de estos pacientes ventilación mecánica. Se registró 1 infección de herida operatoria donde el abordaje fue posterior. El Índice de Barthel promedio de 14 pacientes fue de 49 puntos. De 6 pacientes con puntaje Cero, 85% de estos ingresaron como Frankel A y 50 % egresaron tetrapléjicos. Los pacientes se rehabilitaron en promedio de 2.5 meses. Discusión: Logramos objetivar nuestra realidad. La técnica quirúrgica fue prácticamente uniforme entre los pacientes, sin complicaciones quirúrgicas post operatorias graves. Sin embargo, existen grandes falencias en la demora de la estabilización quirúrgica como también en rehabilitación neurológica y apoyo bio-psico-social del paciente al alta. Pareciera existir cierta relación entre el bajo puntaje obtenido por el Índice de Barthel y el mal pronostico neurológico, siendo necesario proponer a futuro un estudio prospectivo dirigido directamente a evaluar dicha eventual correlación. Interesa por último, estudiar el impacto GES ejercido desde el 2007 hasta la fecha, relativo a la resolutividad de esta patología. Objectives: To describe patients surgically treated for traumatic cervical fracture at the Rancagua Regional Hospital, by the team of Neurosurgery Department, within a period of 4 years. Materials and Methods: We evaluated 24 patients with an history of cervical fracture mechanism of trauma, the time from hospital admission to surgery, and commitment level of spinal cord injury, type of surgery, medical and surgical complications and follow-up post -operation, among others. Results: 5 women and 19 men, average age 39 years (ranging age from 14 to 75 years), major trauma mechanisms were motor vehicle accidents (58%). The most frequently injured spinal level was C4-C5 (25%). 50% of patients were classified as Frankel A at the admission, so that 50% of all patients admitted were quadriplegics, and of these, 33% were discharged as tetraparétic. Admission to the surgery were an average of 5 days. Within cause respiratory medical complications (46%) was the most frequent, requiring 64% of these patients mechanical ventilation. There was only 1 wound infection where the approach was posterior. The average Barthel Index of 14 patients was 49 points. In 6 patients with zero score, 85% were admitted as Frankel A and 50% egressed as tetraplejic. Patients were rehabilitated an average of 2.5 months. Conclusions: We were able to objectify our reality. The surgical technique was nearly uniform among patients without severe postoperative surgical complications. However, there are major misstatments in the delayed surgical stabilization as well as neurological rehabilitation and bio-psycho-social discharged patient's support. Certain relation seemed to exist between the low rating obtained by Barthel's Index and the poor neurological outcome, being necessary to propose to future a market study directed directly to evaluating the above mentioned eventual correlation. Is interessting in studying the GES (Garantías Explicitas en SaludHealth explicit guaranties)-impact exerted from 2007 to date on the resoluteness of this disease. In Arabidopsis, there are 14 TFIIB-like proteins that have been phylogenetically categorized into the TFIIB, BRF, and Rrn7/TAF1B/MEE12 subfamilies. The TFIIB transcription factor (TF) subfamily plays a key role in the regulation of gene expression in eukaryotes. To identify the expression patterns of some members of the TFIIB and BRF subfamilies in A. thaliana, different approaches were carried out to determine the possible functions of some of these transcription factors. Through an in silico analysis, we identified possible cis-acting regulatory elements in the promoter regions that drive the expression of transcription factors, as well as we evaluated their expression by means of real-time qPCR, at different growth stages and under various stress conditions. Cis-acting elements analysis showed that general transcription factors possess stress-responsive elements such as W-Box (TTGACC/T type binding WRKY TFs), ARF1 (auxin response), MYB binding site promoter (auxin response and elicitors), RAV1-A (response to dehydration and salinity), and DRE elements (dehydration response) among others. The experimental results showed differential expression of TFIIB1 and TFIIB. In addition, we demonstrate that in stress conditions a transcript of the TFIIB1 factor is generated as an alternative splicing product by retention of the third intron, where a premature termination codon is found. This is the first report of an alternative splicing event in a general transcription factor related to RNA pol II, which is synthesized when the plant is under abiotic stresses such as heat, dehydration, and salinity. In recent years, a variety of regression models, including zero-inflated and hurdle versions, have been proposed to explain the case of a dependent variable with respect to exogenous covariates. Apart from the classical Poisson, negative binomial and generalised Poisson distributions, many proposals have appeared in the statistical literature, perhaps in response to the new possibilities offered by advanced software that now enables researchers to implement numerous special functions in a relatively simple way. However, we believe that a significant research gap remains, since very little attention has been paid to the quasi-binomial distribution, which was first proposed over fifty years ago. We believe this distribution might constitute a valid alternative to existing regression models, in situations in which the variable has bounded support. Therefore, in this paper we present a zero-inflated regression model based on the quasi-binomial distribution, taking into account the moments and maximum likelihood estimators, and perform a score test to compare the zero-inflated quasi-binomial distribution with the zero-inflated binomial distribution, and the zero-inflated model with the homogeneous model (the model in which covariates are not considered). This analysis is illustrated with two data sets that are well known in the statistical literature and which contain a large number of zeros. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The main goal of this work is to locate stable regions in the Pluto system where objects can be detected. The orbital evolution of large and small particles, under the gravitational effects of the five satellites, is carried out through a sample of numerical simulations. Our results show that for a set composed of large particles, those in retrograde orbits present larger stable regions than the particles in prograde orbits. As the inclination increases the stable regions decrease up to I  = 90° when these regions start increasing again. For those particles with initial I  = 150° the perturbation of Pluto satellites is small. The orbital evolution of small particles (1, 5, and |$10\, \mu$| m in size) is analysed by adding the effects of the solar radiation force. 90 per cent of the initial set of |$10\text{-}\mu$| m-sized particles survived up to 1800 yr when the initial value of I is 150° and 180°.
