Linezolid-resistant enterococci have increased in recent years due to the worldwide spread of acquired resistance genes (cfr , optrA , and poxtA) in clinical, animal, and environmental settings. This study investigated the carriage of optrA -positive enterococci among patients in the anorectal surgery ward in Hangzhou, China, and characterized the genetic context of optrA. A total of 173 wound secretion samples were obtained to screen optrA -positive enterococci. Of the 173 samples, 15 (8.67%) were positive for optrA , including 12 Enterococcus faecalis , two E. faecium , and one E. hirae. Multilocus sequence type analysis revealed that 12 optrA -positive E. faecalis isolates belonged to eight different sequence types (STs), of which ST16 was the main type. Eight optrA variants were identified, whose optrA flanking regions with a fexA gene downstream were bounded by different mobile genetic elements. Furthermore, the optrA gene in 8 out of 15 optrA -positive enterococci could be successfully transferred through conjugation. The findings revealed a high carriage rate of optrA in enterococci from one anorectal surgery ward in China. Essential amino acids (EAA) and microRNAs (miRs) control biological activity of a cell. Whether EAA regulates the activity of miR has never been demonstrated. Here, as proof‐of‐concept, a tryptophan (Trp, an EAA) complex containing Argonaute 2 (Ago2) and miRs including miR‐193a (Trp/Ago2/miR‐193a) is identified. Trp binds miR‐193a‐3p and interacts with Ago2. Trp/Ago2/miR‐193a increases miR‐193a‐3p activity via enhancing Argonaute 2 (Ago2) RNase activity. Other miRs including miR‐103 and miR‐107 in the Trp complex enhance miR‐193a activity by targeting the same genes. Mechanistically, the Trp/Ago2/miR‐193a complex interacts with Trp‐binding pockets of the PIWI domain of Ago2 to enhance Ago2 mediated miR activity. This newly formed Ago2/Trp/miR‐193a‐3p complex is more efficient than miR‐193a‐3p alone in inhibiting the expression of targeted genes and inhibiting colon cancer liver metastasis. The findings show that Trp regulates miR activity through communication with the RNA‐induced silencing complexes (RISC), which provides the basis for tryptophan based miR therapy. With the rapid growth of the economy, people are increasingly reliant on energy sources. However, in recent years, the energy crisis has gradually intensified. As a clean energy source, methane has garnered widespread attention for its development and utilization. This study employed both large-scale computational screening and machine learning to investigate the adsorption and diffusion properties of thousands of metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) in six gas binary mixtures of CH4 (H2/CH4, N2/CH4, O2/CH4, CO2/CH4, H2S/CH4, He/CH4) for methane purification. Firstly, a univariate analysis was conducted to discuss the relationships between the performance indicators of adsorbents and their characteristic descriptors. Subsequently, four machine learning methods were utilized to predict the diffusivity/selectivity of gas, with the light gradient boosting machine (LGBM) algorithm emerging as the optimal one, yielding R2 values of 0.954 for the diffusivity and 0.931 for the selectivity. Furthermore, the LGBM algorithm was combined with the SHapley Additive exPlanation (SHAP) technique to quantitatively analyze the relative importance of each MOF descriptor, revealing that the pore limiting diameter (PLD) was the most critical structural descriptor affecting molecular diffusivity. Finally, for each system of CH4 mixture, three high-performance MOFs were identified, and the commonalities among high-performance MOFs were analyzed, leading to the proposals of three design principles involving changes only to the metal centers, organic linkers, or topological structures. Purpose: To discuss significant computed tomography (CT) findings that differentiate gastric leiomyomas (GLs) from small gastric stromal tumors (GSTs). Methods: One hundred sixty cases with pathologically proven GLs (n = 50) and GSTs (n = 110) with comprehensive CT images were enrolled in this retrospective study. Computed tomography findings (ie, size, location, contour, growth pattern, enhancement degree, necrosis, ulceration, calcification, and lymph nodes) were analyzed through the χ2 or Fisher exact test, independent T test, and multivariate (logistic regression) analysis. Sensitivity and specificity were also calculated. Results: Features of cardia location, endophytic growth, homogeneous gradual enhancement, absent of necrosis, long diameter less than 24 mm, short diameter less than 20 mm, unenhanced CT value larger than 35.2 Hounsfield units (HU), portal venous phase CT value larger than 67.4 HU, and enhancement degree of arterial and venous phase less than 16.2 HU and 32.4 HU were found to be statistically significant between GLs and small GSTs (P <.05). On multivariate analysis, cardia location, endophytic growth, and homogeneous gradual enhancement were independent predictive factors for GLs and small GSTs. Conclusion: These 10 CT criteria are very helpful to differentiate GLs from small GSTs. Background. Altered maternal serum lipid metabolism is associated with hypertensive disorders in pregnancy (HDP). However, its range in pregnancy and characteristic among different subgroups of HDPs are unclear. Methods. Pregnant women with HDP who underwent antenatal care and delivered in Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University during January 2018 to August 2022 were enrolled. The levels of total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDLC), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDLC), apolipoprotein (Apo)-A, B, and E, free fatty acids (FFA), and small and dense low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (sdLDL) were measured during 4–16 weeks and 28–42 weeks of pregnancy. Results. A total of 2648 pregnant women were diagnosed with HDP, 1,880 of whom were enrolled for final analysis, including 983 (52.3%) preeclampsia (PE), 676 (36.0%) gestational hypertension (GH), and 221 (11.7%) chronic hypertension (CH). For all HDPs, serum TC, TG, LDLC, HDLC, Apo-A, Apo-B, Apo-E, and sdLDL increased significantly during pregnancy, while FFA decreased significantly. Notably, the levels of TC, LDLC, Apo-B, and sdLDL in PE group were equal to or lower than those in CH group at 4–16 weeks of pregnancy, but increased greatly during pregnancy (P < 0.05). Conclusions. Maternal serum lipid levels changed through pregnancy among women with HDPs. Women complicated with PE seem to have undergone a more significant serum lipid change compared to those with GH or CH. Higher education is crucial to sustainable development. The construction of a "double first-class" university (the 42 top universities in China) is an important initiative to improve the quality of higher education and promote its sustainable development. The aim of the study discussed here was to explore how graduate training promotes the sustainable development of higher education and the main characteristics of graduate training in China's "double first-class" universities. The research in this paper involved 42 "double first-class" universities' graduate training programs (including training objectives, training process, and training methods) for which coding analysis using NVivo12 plus was carried out. It was found that the main characteristics of China's "double first-class" university graduate training are as follows: (1) clear decomposition of quality and ability structure; (2) taking quality as the core of the connotative development of higher education; and (3) innovation in talent training methods. This study focused on talent training itself, which is of significant importance in the competition for talent around the world. China's double first-class universities can not only provide experience for the graduate education of domestic universities, but also for those in other countries. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
