The E-CLSC (E-closed-loop supply chain) game model dominated by manufacturer is set, and information value about asymmetry fairness concern of E-platform (E-commerce platform) is calculated for manufacturer, recycler, and E-platform. By signaling model under various signal costs, the authors study the condition for E-platform to transmit real information about fairness concern so as to reduce profit loss for all parties in E-CLSC. The authors prove that E-platform has the motivation to disguise or exaggerate fairness concerns in order to obtain more profit, and manufacturers must try to identify the E-platform's real fairness concern to avoid profit loss. Besides, only when different types of E-platforms need significantly different signaling cost, both of them would like to send real fairness-concern signal, and thus manufacturer can effectively identify E-platform's real information about fairness concern so as to improve recycling rate and optimize the whole E-CLSC operation.

This study investigates the effect of social preference on the recycling decision and coordination in an E-closed-loop supply chain (E-CLSC). Firstly, we set the dynamic E-CLSC game model including a manufacturer, an E-commerce platform (E-platform) and a recycler, where the manufacturer dominates the supply chain and both the E-platform and the recycler are followers. Secondly, we propose an E-CLSC information structure to depict four symmetry and asymmetry cases about the E-platform’s fairness concern and the manufacturer’s altruistic reciprocity, and the backward induction method is adopted to solve the equilibrium in each case. By comparative analysis, we propose a revenue-sharing and cost-sharing contract to optimize recycling decisions, coordinate the E-CLSC and Pareto-improve all parties’ profits. We show that whether information is symmetrical or not, only the wholesale price contract cannot coordinate the E-CLSC, whereas the revenue-sharing and cost-sharing contract can always achieve optimal recycling decisions, coordinate the supply chain and Pareto-improve all parties’ profits with a constant cost sharing ratio. In addition, the E-platform’s fairness concern can widen the range of the revenue sharing ratio and make it easier to coordinate the E-CLSC, but the manufacturer’s altruistic reciprocity may narrow the range of the revenue sharing ratio and make it harder to coordinate the E-CLSC.

Isobaric heat capacity is one of the key thermophysical properties for working fluids in thermal systems and plays an important role in the development of equation of state. Due to the lack of experimental data for promising hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs), we carried out theoretical predictions for condensed liquid phase with three different methods: traditional cubic equation of state (CEOS), fundamental equations of state (FEOS) explicit in Helmholtz free energy and a corresponding state equation (CSE). Both CEOS and CSE are generalized models that only need several characteristic parameters to conduct calculation, while FEOS are specific models in which the structure and parameters are regressed from experimental data of one certain fluid. Liquid heat capacity data of 9 HFOs were calculated, including well-known R1234yf, R1234ze(E), and latest prospective R1123, R1216, R1243zf, R1234ze(Z), R1336mzz(Z), R1141, and R1125zc. A critical comparison was carried out between different calculation methods. The comparison showed that both CSE and FEOS predicted available experimental data well with AADs % less than the reported experimental uncertainties. For refrigerants without experimental heat capacity, CSE and FEOS showed good agreements with AADs % less than 3.6 %. The selected CEOS always provided relatively larger predictions than experiments or the other two methods. Despite that, calculated data of CEOS showed a strong linear relation with the other two methods, which suggested that there might be a potential linear modification or correlation for CEOS in improving its heat capacity calculations. Furthermore, when there were no experimental data available, CSE used in this study could be a useful preliminary evaluation tool for the liquid heat capacity of hydrofluoroolefins, considering its accuracy and easy application characteristics.

This paper presents a novel triple heat sources-driven absorption heat pump system. The exhaust gas is used as the heat source for a high-pressure generator. The superheated refrigerant vapor generated by the high-pressure generator is used for heating the solution in the low-pressure generator 1 by releasing the latent and sensible heat. The low-temperature solar thermal energy serves as the heat source of the low-pressure generator 2. The geothermal energy supplies heat to the evaporator. Heat discharged from the condenser and the absorber is supplied to the air conditioner heat medium water. The high- and low-pressure generators are coupled to each other through an ejector. The introduction of the ejector reduces the pressure of the low pressure generator 2 below the condensing pressure so that the lower temperature solar thermal energy can be utilized. An experimental setup for this heat pump cycle is built, and an experimental investigation is carried out. The influences of the independent variables on the key internal operating parameters and heating performance have been investigated. Experimental studies show that when the hot air temperature is 213 °C and the temperature of the hot water is 43.5 °C, a heating capacity of 26.6 kW can be achieved with a heating performance coefficient greater than 1.7. In this way, an efficient and full use of waste heat is realized, and the results can provide an important basis for the design and wide application of low-temperature solar thermal and geothermal energy.

Embedding knowledge graphs (KGs) into continuous vector space is an essential problem in knowledge extraction. Current models continue to improve embedding by focusing on discriminating relation-specific information from entities with increasingly complex feature engineering. We noted that they ignored the inherent relevance between relations and tried to learn unique discriminate parameter set for each relation. Thus, these models potentially suffer from high time complexity and large parameters, preventing them from efficiently applying on real-world KGs. In this paper, we follow the thought of parameter sharing to simultaneously learn more expressive features, reduce parameters and avoid complex feature engineering. Based on gate structure from LSTM, we propose a novel model TransGate and develop shared discriminate mechanism, resulting in almost same space complexity as indiscriminate models. Furthermore, to develop a more effective and scalable model, we reconstruct the gate with weight vectors making our method has comparative time complexity against indiscriminate model. We conduct extensive experiments on link prediction and triplets classification. Experiments show that TransGate not only outperforms state-of-art baselines, but also reduces parameters greatly. For example, TransGate outperforms ConvE and RGCN with 6x and 17x fewer parameters, respectively. These results indicate that parameter sharing is a superior way to further optimize embedding and TransGate finds a better trade-off between complexity and expressivity.

Exclusive rare Higgs decays into lepton pair plus one light hadron, such as $h\to \rho^0(\omega)\ell\bar{\ell}$, $h\to \pi^0\ell\bar{\ell}$, $h\to \pi^+ (K^+)\ell^-\bar{\nu}_\ell$, and $h\to \rho^+(K^{*+})\ell^-\bar{\nu}_\ell$, have been explored in the standard model. Decay amplitudes are dominantly from the Higgs couplings to gauge bosons and to charged leptons, and their branching ratios are predicted in the range of $10^{-8}\sim 10^{-5}$. We have also analyzed the differential dilepton invariant mass and angular distributions of $h\to \rho^0 \ell^+\ell^-$ decays. It will be challenging to search for these rare processes. Nevertheless, experimental studies of them, in particular, $h\to \rho^0\ell^+\ell^-$ with $\ell=e,\mu$, might be interesting both to help deepen our understanding of the standard model and to probe new physics beyond the standard model in the future high-precision experiments., Comment: 12 pages, 4 figures

In this paper, the prospect of low-GWP refrigerants used in solar-driven ejector-compression hybrid refrigeration system was analyzed and evaluated based on the solar radiation data in summer of Beijing and Guangzhou. Prominent environmental friendly alternative refrigerants, including HCFO-1233zd(E), HFO-1336mzz(Z), HFO-1234ze(Z), HCFO-1224yd(Z) and HC-600 were chosen as the working fluids to address the environmental concerns, while HFC-245fa was used as the baseline refrigerant. The hybrid refrigeration system composed of an ejector refrigeration system as the upper stage and a vapor compression system as the bottom stage, respectively. The results indicated that the system with HFO-1234ze(Z) showed the highest COP. HFO-1234ze(Z) was followed by HCFO-1233zd(E) and HC-600, and all of them showed higher COP than that of HFC-245fa. The system with HC-600 needed more electric energy than any other systems, while HFO-1336mzz(Z) consumed the lowest electric power. Meanwhile, the performances of HFO-1234ze(Z) and HFC-245fa systems were further compared. It was found that for both working fluids, the heat load of the condenser (Qe,c), total electric energy consumption (We) and electric energy of compressor (Wcom) in August were the highest in Beijing, while in Guangzhou, the highest of them was achieved in September. It was also suggested that the solar radiation had no influence on the relative magnitude of the Qe,c, We and Wcom between HFO-1234ze(Z) and HFC-245fa systems. The Qe,c, We and Wcom of the system with HFO-1234ze(Z) were higher than those of HFC-245fa by 0.8%, 4.44%, and 3.55%, respectively.

This work proposed a corresponding state equation for the prediction of isobaric heat capacity of liquid hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) and hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) refrigerants. The equation was derived from classic corresponding state principle and rigorous data analysis. With known acentric factor, critical point and ideal gas isobaric heat capacity, the equation could provide predictions for isobaric heat capacity of liquid refrigerants at a wide state range with satisfactory accuracy. By means of testing available experimental data, the overall prediction accuracy of the equation was confirmed to be 1.78%, which was much better than other prediction methods.

The vapour-liquid equilibrium (VLE) data of four ternary solutions HCOOK + [Emim]Ac /[Emim]Br / [Emim]Cl / [Emim]NO3 + H2O were measured using the boiling method at the temperatures from 305.78 K to 387.08 K, at solute (HCOOK + IL) mass fractions (w) between 0.2 and 0.5. A total of 234 data points (w = 0 included) were obtained and correlated with empirical Antoine-type equations. The absolute average relative deviations (AARD %) between calculated and measured vapour pressures were 0.58%, 0.50%, 0.49%, 0.63%, respectively, which showed good agreement. The comparison of the experimental and standard data and combined uncertainties of the experimental data confirmed good reliability of the experimental method and apparatus. The four ternary solutions with ILs as additives have lower vapour pressure compared to the corresponding binary solutions without ILs. The results showed that the four ternary solutions of HCOOK + [Emim]Ac / [Emim]Br / [Emim]Cl / [Emim]NO3 + H2O can be the alternatives for traditional dehumidification and absorption media. [Emim]Cl has the best ability to reduce the vapour pressure of HCOOK + H2O at the solute (HCOOK + IL) mass fraction of 0.4 and 0.5. The [Emim]Ac has the most effect reducing the vapour pressure of HCOOK + H2O at the solute (HCOOK + IL) mass fraction of 0.3.

Users’ real demographic attributes is impressively useful for intelligent marketing, automatic advertising and human-computer interaction. Traditional method on attribute prediction make great effort on the study of social network data, but ignore massive volumes of disparate, dynamic, and temporal data derived from ubiquitous mobile and sensor devices. For example, daily walking step counts produced by pedometer. Multiple demographic prediction on temporal data have two problems. First one is that differential effectiveness of different time period data for prediction is unclear. And another one is how to effectively learn the complementary correlations between different attributes. To address the above problem, we propose a novel model named Correlation-Aware Neural Embedding with Attention (CANEA), which first directly separates different attribute oriented feature using separated embedding layer, and use attention mechanism to assign a higher weight to dominant time point. Then it captures informative correlations using correlation learning layer. Finally we obtain the refined task-specific representations with optimal correlation information for predicting certain attributes. Experimental results show the effectiveness of our method.

We study the long-distance contribution to ${B}_{s}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\mu}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\mu}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ decay, which is generated by the two-photon intermediate state via the ${B}_{s}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\gamma}}^{*}{\ensuremath{\gamma}}^{*}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\mu}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\mu}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ transition. It is found that the dispersive two-photon amplitude can interfere with the dominant short-distance amplitude, which gives rise to new theoretical uncertainty in the branching ratio of ${B}_{s}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\mu}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\mu}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$. Our analysis shows that, by taking into account present experimental constraints, this uncertainty could be up to the same order of magnitude as some theoretical uncertainties of $\mathcal{B}({B}_{s}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\mu}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\mu}}^{\ensuremath{-}})$ given in the past literature. Future precise studies of the double radiative ${B}_{s}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\gamma}\ensuremath{\gamma}$ decay, both experimentally and theoretically, may help to reduce the uncertainty. This novel effect has never been examined in ${B}_{s}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\mu}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\mu}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ decay.

Background: One of the main challenges for extrusion 3D bioprinting is the identification of non-synthetic bioinks with suitable rheological properties and biocompatibility. Our aim was to optimise and compare the printability of crystal, fibril and blend formulations of novel pulp derived nanocellulose bioinks and assess biocompatibility with human nasoseptal chondrocytes for cartilage bioprinting. Methods: The printability of crystalline, fibrillated and blend formulations of nanocellulose was determined by assessing resolution (grid-line assay), post-printing shape fidelity and rheology (elasticity, viscosity and shear thinning characteristics) and compared these to pure alginate bioinks. The optimised nanocellulose-alginate bioink was bioprinted with human nasoseptal chondrocytes to determine cytotoxicity, metabolic activity and bioprinted construct topography. Results: All nanocellulose-alginate bioink combinations demonstrated a high degree of shear thinning with reversible stress softening behaviour which contributed to post-printing shape fidelity. The unique blend of crystal and fibril nanocellulose bioink exhibited nano- as well as micro-roughness for cellular survival and differentiation, as well as maintaining the most stable construct volume in culture. Human nasoseptal chondrocytes demonstrated high metabolic activity post printing and adopted a rounded chondrogenic phenotype after prolonged culture. Conclusions: This study highlights the favourable rheological, swelling and biocompatibility properties of nanocellulose-alginate bioinks for extrusion-based bioprinting.

Isobaric heat capacities of compressed liquid 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane (R245fa) and 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoropropane (R236fa) were measured by scanning calorimetry. The experimental system basically consists of a calvet calorimeter (Setaram C80) and a pressure balance unit. A total of 55 data points for liquid R245fa and 52 data points for liquid R236fa were obtained at temperatures from (315 to 365) K and pressures up to 5.5 MPa. The uncertainties for the heat capacity of R245fa and R236fa were estimated to be (1.8 and 1.6)%, respectively. The experimental data was correlated to an empirical equation, the form of which was decided by stepwise fit method. The average absolute percentage deviations between the data points and the equation were (0.23 and 0.10)% for R245fa and R236fa.

Public key infrastructures (PKIs) are proposed to provide various security services. Some security services such as confidentiality require key escrow in certain scenarios, whereas some others such as non-repudiation and authentication usually prohibit key escrow. Moreover, these two conflicting requirements can coexist for one PKI user. The popular solution in which each user has two different certificates and an escrow authority backs up all escrowed private keys faces the problems of efficiency and scalability. In this study, a novel key management infrastructure called RIKE+ is proposed to integrate the ‘inherent key escrow’ of identity-based encryption (IBE) into PKIs. In RIKE+ , (the hash value of) a user's PKI certificate also serves as a ‘revocable identity’ to derive the user's IBE public key, and the revocation of this IBE key pair is achieved by the certificate revocation of PKIs. Therefore the certificate binds the user with two key pairs, one of which is escrowed inherently and the other is not. Furthermore, RIKE+ employs chameleon hash to flexibly control the relationship between the certificate and the IBE key pair. In the case of certificate renewal and revocation, chameleon hash enables RIKE+ to manipulate the hash value of the new certificate, so the user's IBE key pair is not unconditionally changed unless it is necessary. RIKE+ is an effective certificate-based solution compatible with traditional PKIs and can be built on existing X.509 PKIs.

A search for the invisible decays of $\omega$ and $\phi$ mesons in $J/\psi\to \omega (\phi)\eta$ transitions has been performed by the BESIII Collaboration very recently. Inspired by this experimental study, we compute the lowest order contribution to branching ratios of ${\cal B}(V\to\bar{\nu}\nu)$ with $V$ denoting $\rho,\;\omega,\;\phi$, as the standard model background to these invisible decays. Our predictions are far below the upper bounds given by the BESIII experiment. We also analyze the $J/\psi\to \eta(\eta^\prime)\bar{\nu}\nu$ processes, and estimate their decay rates. Furthermore, the invisible decays of light pseudoscalar mesons $P$ including $\pi^0$, $\eta$, and $\eta^\prime$ are reexamined in the present note. It is shown that, due to the helicity suppression of the two-neutrino final state, the standard model contributions to $P\to{\rm invisible}$ decays are dominated by $P\to\bar{\nu}\nu \bar{\nu}\nu$ processes., Comment: 8 pages, 4 figures, minor changes and references added. Rare weak decays of ${\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}K\ensuremath{\pi}$ have been investigated in the framework of the $U(3)$ chiral perturbation theory at the leading order. Our study shows that the branching ratio $\mathcal{B}({\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}K\ensuremath{\pi})$ is of the order of ${10}^{\ensuremath{-}11}$, which is far below the present experimental upper bound given by the BESIII Collaboration. By further analysis of ${\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ and ${\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}^{0}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$, the ratio of isospin amplitudes is found, $|{A}_{1/2}/{A}_{3/2}|\ensuremath{\simeq}35$, which supports that the $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Delta}}I=1/2$ transition enhancement, namely, the $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Delta}}I=1/2$ rule, could be functional in ${\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ weak decays.

Android Application Framework is an integral and foundational part of the Android system. Each of the 1.4 billion Android devices relies on the system services of Android Framework to manage applications and system resources. Given its critical role, a vulnerability in the framework can be exploited to launch large-scale cyber attacks and cause severe harms to user security and privacy. Recently, many vulnerabilities in Android Framework were exposed, showing that it is vulnerable and exploitable. However, most of the existing research has been limited to analyzing Android applications, while there are very few techniques and tools developed for analyzing Android Framework. In particular, to our knowledge, there is no previous work that analyzes the framework through symbolic execution, an approach that has proven to be very powerful for vulnerability discovery and exploit generation. We design and build the first system, Centaur, that enables symbolic execution of Android Framework. Due to some unique characteristics of the framework, such as its middleware nature and extraordinary complexity, many new challenges arise and are tackled in Centaur. In addition, we demonstrate how the system can be applied to discovering new vulnerability instances, which can be exploited by several recently uncovered attacks against the framework, and to generating PoC exploits.

Summary Background Commercially available tissue engineered skin remains elusive despite extensive research because the multi-stratified anisotropic structure is difficult to replicate in vitro using traditional tissue engineering techniques. Bioprinting, involving computer-controlled deposition of cells and scaffolds into spatially controlled patterns, is able to control not only the macro but also micro and nanoarchitecture and could offer the potential to more faithfully replicate native skin. Methods We conducted a literature review using PubMed, EMBASE and Web of Science for studies on skin 3D bioprinting between 2009 and 2016, evaluating the bioprinting technique, cell source, scaffold type and in vitro and in vivo outcomes. Results We outline the evolution of biological skin replacements, principles of bioprinting and how they apply to the skin tissue engineering field, potential clinical applications as well the current limitations and future avenues for research. Of the studies analysed, the most common types of bioinks consisted of keratinocytes and fibroblasts combined with collagen, although stem cells are gaining increasing recognition. Laser assisted deposition was the most common printing modality, although ink-jet and pneumatic extrusion have also been tested. Bioprinted skin promoted accelerated wound healing, was able to mimic stratified epidermis but not the thick, elastic, vascular dermis. Conclusions Although 3D bioprinting shows promise in engineering skin, evidenced by large collective investments from the cosmetic industry, the research is still in its infancy. The resolution, vascularity, optimal cell and scaffold combinations and cost of bioprinted skin are hurdles that need to be overcome before the clinical applicability can be realised. Small scale 3D skin tissue models for cosmetics, drug and toxicity testing as well as tumour modelling are likely to be translated first before we see this technology used in reconstructive surgery patients.

2,3,3,3-Tetrafluoropropene (R1234yf) is an environmentally friendly promising alternative to 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (R134a) in air conditioning applications. The heat capacity of R1234yf in liquid phase was investigated in this study. The measurements were carried out with a modified heat conduction calorimeter. A total of 74 data points were obtained among 305–355 K and 1.5–5 MPa. The uncertainty of the heat capacity measurements was estimated to be less than 1.7%. An empirical equation was correlated to reproduce the experimental result with its terms chosen by a stepwise method. The maximum deviation between the correlating equation and the experimental data was 1.5%. Furthermore, saturated liquid heat capacity of R1234yf was obtained by extrapolating the correlation to saturated pressures. Finally, a comparison was done between the present data and literature experimental data and calculations from a fundamental equation of state.

Three kinds of lithium chloride desiccants were selected, which are considered to be potential and interesting working fluids for a desiccant/dehumidification or absorption refrigeration system, and their isobaric specific heat capacities were determined in this context. Experiments were conducted at a high accuracy twin-cell scanning calorimeter. The temperature accuracy and heat flux resolution of the calorimeter are ±0.05 K and 0.1 μW respectively. The data of lithium chloride + water and lithium chloride + triethylene glycol (TEG)/propylene glycol (PG) + water systems were achieved at temperatures from 308.15 K to 343.15 K and atmospheric pressure. The mass fraction of LiCl ranged from 15% to 45% in the LiCl + H2O system, and the mass fraction of LiCl and glycol ranged from 10% to 23.3% and 20% to 46.7% in the ternary systems respectively. Based on the experimental heat capacity data, a universal empirical formula was correlated as a function of temperature and solute mass fraction. In the experimental mass fractions and temperatures range, the average absolute deviation (AAD) between experiment results and calculated values is no more than 0.15%, and maximum absolute deviation (MAD) is within 0.38%. These thermodynamic data of lithium chloride solutions can be effectively used for analysis and design of desiccant/dehumidification systems and absorption refrigeration systems in both refrigeration and chemical industry.

Motivated by some new experimental data, we carry out a phenomenological analysis of D→KπD→Kπ decays including both Cabibbo favored and doubly Cabibbo suppressed modes. Two asymmetries, R(D0)R(D0) and R(D+)R(D+), which are generated through interference between Cabibbo favored and doubly Cabibbo suppressed D→KπD→Kπ transitions, are predicted. The relative strong phase, δKπδKπ, between D0→K−π+D0→K−π+ and D0→K+π−D0→K+π− decays, is estimated. The theoretical results agree well with the current measurements.

To avoid cell cycle arrest or apoptosis, rapidly proliferating cancer cells have to promote DNA double strand break (DSB) repair to fix replication stress induced DSBs. Therefore, developing drugs blocking homologous recombination (HR) and nonhomologous end joining (NHEJ) - 2 major DSB repair pathways - holds great potential for cancer therapy. Over the last few decades, much attention has been paid to explore drugs targeting DSB repair pathways for cancer therapy. Here, using 2 well-established reporters for analyzing HR and NHEJ efficiency, we found that both HR and NHEJ are elevated in hepatoma cell lines Hep3B and HuH7 compared with normal liver cell lines Chang liver and QSG-7701. Our further study found that Harmine, a natural compound, negatively regulates HR but not NHEJ by interfering Rad51 recruitment, resulting in severe cytotoxicity in hepatoma cells. Furthermore, NHEJ inhibitor Nu7441 markedly sensitizes Hep3B cells to the anti-proliferative effects of Harmine. Taken together, our study suggested that Harmine holds great promise as an oncologic drug and combination of Harmine with a NHEJ inhibitor might be an effective strategy for anti-cancer treatment.

We study the decay K^+ -> pi^+ pi^0 e^+ e^-, currently under analysis by the NA62 Collaboration at CERN. In particular, we provide a detailed analysis of the Dalitz plot for the long-distance, gamma^*-mediated, contributions (Bremsstrahlung, direct emission and its interference). We also examine a set of asymmetries to isolate genuine short-distance effects. While we show that charge asymmetries are not required to test short distances, they provide the best environment for its detection. This constitutes by itself a strong motivation for NA62 to study K^- decays in the future. We therefore provide a detailed study of different charge asymmetries and the corresponding estimated signals. Whenever possible, we make contact with the related processes K^+ -> pi^+ pi^0 gamma and K_L -> pi^+ pi^- e^+ e^- and discuss the advantages of K^+ -> pi^+ pi^0 e^+ e^- over them., Comment: 25 pages, 6 figures

We study the CP-violating asymmetry [Formula: see text], which arises, in η → π+π-e+e-, from the angular correlation of the e+e- and π+ π- planes due to the interference between the magnetic and electric decay amplitudes. With the phenomenologically determined magnetic amplitude and branching ratio as input, the asymmetry, induced by the electric bremsstrahlung amplitude through the CP-violating decay η → π+π-, and by an unconventional tensor type operator, has been estimated respectively. The upper bound of [Formula: see text] from the former is about 10-3, and the asymmetry from the latter might be up to O(10-2). One can therefore expect that this CP asymmetry would be an interesting CP-violating observable for the future precise measurements in the η factories.

A phenomenological analysis of $D\to K\pi$ and $D_s^+\to K K $decays including both Cabibbo-favored and doubly-Cabibbo-suppressed modes have been presented by employing the present experimental data. SU(3) symmetry breaking effects from the decay constants and form factors have been taken into account in the analysis. Three asymmetries, $R(D^0)$, $R(D^+)$, and $R(D_s^+)$, which are generated through interference between Cabbibo-favored and doubly- Cabibbo-suppressed decays, are estimated. Motivated by the experimental study of $J/\psi\to\gamma ~+$ invisible decay by the CLEO Collaboration, we analyze the process $J/\psi\to \gamma \nu\bar{\nu}$, as the standard model background for this invisible decay, at the lowest order. Our investigation shows that Br($J/\psi\to \gamma \nu\bar{\nu}$) is far below the present experimental upper limit on the branching ratio of $J/\psi\to\gamma ~+$ invisible, which indicates that some interesting room for new physics in this channel might be expected. We also present a similar analysis of the $\eta_c\to \gamma \nu\bar{\nu}$ decay.

Rare decays h → Z V with V denoting the narrow c c ¯ or b b ¯ resonances, such as J / Ψ or ϒ states, have been analyzed. Within the standard model, these channels may proceed through the tree-level transition h → Z Z ⁎ with the virtual Z ⁎ → V , and also loop-induced process h → Z γ ⁎ , followed by γ ⁎ → V . Our analysis shows that, for the bottomonium final states, the decay rate of h → Z ϒ from the loop-induced process is small and the former transition gives the dominant contribution; while, for the charmonium final states, Γ ( h → Z J / Ψ ) and Γ ( h → Z Ψ ( 2 S ) ) induced by h → Z γ ⁎ → Z V could be comparable to the contribution given by the tree-level h → Z Z ⁎ → Z V transition.

By employing vector meson dominance to establish the electromagnetic interactions of hadrons, the electromagnetic self-energy of the neutral pions, which receives the contributions from the vector resonances due to chiral anomaly, is evaluated. This part of the electromagentic mass, which can contribute to the mass difference of $\pi^\pm-\pi^0$, is finite and as expected, is smaller than the contributions due to isospin symmetry breaking and electromagnetic chiral logs corrections, however, could be compared with the contribution from the short distance QCD., Comment: Revtex, 8 pages, no figures

Using the Higgs boson mass ${m}_{h}=125\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{GeV}$, the radiative Higgs decays $h\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\gamma}{\ensuremath{\nu}}_{l}{\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}}_{l}$ with ${\ensuremath{\nu}}_{l}={\ensuremath{\nu}}_{e}$, ${\ensuremath{\nu}}_{\ensuremath{\mu}}$, and ${\ensuremath{\nu}}_{\ensuremath{\tau}}$ are analyzed in the standard model. Our calculation shows that the inclusive width of these processes, i.e., the sum of $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Gamma}}(h\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\gamma}{\ensuremath{\nu}}_{l}{\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}}_{l})$ for ${\ensuremath{\nu}}_{l}={\ensuremath{\nu}}_{e}$, ${\ensuremath{\nu}}_{\ensuremath{\mu}}$, ${\ensuremath{\nu}}_{\ensuremath{\tau}}$, is 1.41 keV, which is about 15% of $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Gamma}}(h\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\gamma}\ensuremath{\gamma})$. Therefore, the observation of these channels in future precise experiments may provide some useful information on the Higgs physics in both the standard model and its possible extensions.

There exist certain intrinsic relations between the ultraviolet divergent graphs and the convergent ones at the same loop order in renormalizable quantum field theories. Whereupon we may establish a new method, the intrinsic regularization method, to regularize those divergent graphs. In this paper, we apply this method of QCD at the one-loop order, It turns out to be satisfactory: The gauge invariance is preserved manifestly and the results are the same as those derived by means of other regularization methods.

To one-loop order and $O({\ensuremath{\alpha}}_{\mathrm{EM}}),$ the electromagnetic mass splittings of \ensuremath{\pi}, ${a}_{1},$ $K,$ ${K}_{1}(1400),$ and ${K}^{*}(892)$ are calculated in the framework of $\mathrm{U}{(3)}_{L}\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}\mathrm{U}{(3)}_{R}$ chiral field theory. The logarithmic divergences emerging in the Feynman integrations of the mesonic loops are factorized by using an intrinsic parameter $g$ of this theory. No other additional parameters or counterterms are introduced to absorb the mesonic loop divergences. When ${f}_{\ensuremath{\pi}},$ ${m}_{\ensuremath{\rho}},$ and ${m}_{a}$ are taken as inputs, the parameter $g$ will be determined and all the physical results are finite and fixed. Dashen's theorem is satisfied in the chiral SU(3) limit of this theory and a rather large violation of the theorem is revealed at the order of ${m}_{s}$ or ${m}_{K}^{2}.$ Mass ratios of light quarks have been determined. A relation for electromagnetic corrections to masses of axial-vector mesons is obtained. It could be regarded as a generalization of Dashen's theorem. Comparing with data, it is found that the nonelectromagnetic mass difference of ${K}^{*}$ is in agreement with the estimation of Schechter, Subbaraman, and Weigel.

The radiative Higgs decays h → γl + l − with l = e, μ and τ are analyzed in the standard model using m h = 125GeV. Both tree and one-loop diagrams for the processes are evaluated. In addition to their decay rates and dilepton invariant mass distributions, we focus on the forward-back asymmetries in these modes. Our calculation shows that the forward-backward asymmetries in h → γe + e − and h → γμ + μ − could be up to 10−2 while in the τ + τ − final state, these asymmetries are below 1%. Thus the forwardbackward asymmetries in h → γl + l − might be interesting observables in the future precise experiments both to test our understanding of Higgs physics in the standard model and to probe the novel Higgs dynamics in new physics scenarios.

Based on experimental data by the Belle Collaboration, we present a phenomenological analysis of the angular distributions in ${\ensuremath{\tau}}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}_{S}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\nu}}_{\ensuremath{\tau}}$ decay. Our study shows that the angular analysis could lead to some interesting observables, and the future experimental investigation of these observables might be very helpful in revealing the nature of the scalar components of the decay. New physics contributions from the two-Higgs-doublet model to this decay have also been examined.

Current experiments do not support, as ATLAS and CMS collaborations at the Large Hadron Collider reported, that the Higgs-like resonance discovered in July 2012 is a pure CP-odd state. We examine a general $hZZ$ vertex which contains CP-even and CP-odd couplings, by studying the process $h\to ZZ^*\to l_1^+l_1^-l_2^+l_2^-$ with $l_1,\, l_2= e$ or $\mu$, to explore the CP mixed property of the Higgs-like particle. One momentum asymmetry and two angular asymmetries have been analyzed in order to reveal the difference from different CP-couplings.
