[EN] We present the archaeological data on La Serreta, an open-air prehistoric settlement in the Catalan precoastal plain of Penedès (Barcelona). The site is comprised of structures such as silos, tombs, ditches, and possible huts. In two successive campaigns, 89 negative structures were documented, which belong to chronologies ranging from the Early Neolithic to the Bronze Age. Data on the structures, material culture, and available radiocarbon dating are presented. At the same time, the data is contextualized within the framework of the pre-coastal plains of the northeastern Iberian Peninsula., [ES] En este trabajo se presentan los datos sobre La Serreta, un asentamiento prehistórico al aire libre en el llano prelitoral catalán del Penedès (Barcelona). El yacimiento está formado por estructuras como silos, tumbas, fosos y posibles cabañas. En dos campañas sucesivas se documentaron 89 estructuras negativas, que pertenecen a cronologías entre el Neolítico antiguo y la edad del Bronce. Se presentan los datos sobre las estructuras, la cultura material y sobre las dataciones radiocarbónicas disponibles. Al mismo tiempo se contextualizan los datos en el marco de los llanos prelitorales del noreste peninsular.

This research assignment discusses the evolution of smart road technologies and the role they play in the future transportation infrastructure. At a time when the world is in an electric transformation, the way roads are constructed needs to keep up with the development. This study provides a comprehensive technology forecast on emerging smart road systems. Central to this rapport is the study of different variants of Electrical Road Systems (ERS), including overhead conductive charging, bottom-attached conductive charging, and inductive charging technologies. The technology is explained and projects using the technologies are presented. The conductive projects treated are Siemens' eHighway which uses overhead conductive charging, eRoadArlanda and Elonroad with a bottom-attached conductive charging solution and Heliox Oppcharge, which is a pantograph that connects to bus roofs. The most dominant technology today is a conductive solution called Combined Charging System, CCS, which also is presented in the theory. Furthermore the paper presents five inductive R&Ds, with two projects adopting inductive charging in two different ways. For instance does the Detroit’s Electric Road System use inductive charging with a dynamic application, and the Taxi Fleet project uses the same technology but with a static configuration, both with the inductive charging system embedded in the road. The case studies practice the theories behind the ERS technologies in practical application which highlights the challenges and opportunities with implementing the systems. To obtain the most promising electric road solution for the next decade technological forecasting methods are applied. Fusion technology is one of the future energy sources that scientists and the public are hoping to help solve the future energy crises. Scientist have been researching and experimenting with the fusion energy over more than 50 years. Every time scientist and researchers achieve a breakthrough in their research, the discussion in the media increases on how fusion energy is not so far away from reality. This raises the question about how far away the fusion technology actually are from being applied as a commercially available energy source. In this research report a technology forecasting is conducted on the fusion technology. The aim with the technology forecasting is to estimate when fusion energy will be commercially avail- able. the conclusion will be based on information collected from a variety of fusion projects around the world and expert opinions from the field of fusion energy. The theory behind the concept of fusion energy is presented, to give some insight and understanding of the critical pa- rameters that need to be achieved to implement commercial fusion. The different performances and technologies are highlighted in a table that summarises all projects. This includes all in- formation that can be relevant in determine the progression in development of nuclear fusion, from capital invested, companies/institutes contributing to performance in fusion gain. To an- alyze the performance of fusion reactors over time, the performance and the time line for the achieved performance is plotted. This visualises how different type of fusion reactors performs compared to each other and conclusions are made on why there are differences in performance and over time. En este proyecto se quiere centrar principalmente en buscar que los procesos industriales de la empresa Alpro sean eficientes y productivos para justificar el estudio hacia la identificación de un punto de mejora en la cadena de suministro de la empresa. Se pretende utilizar las herramientas aportadas por Lean Management para lograr conocer el recorrido del producto dentro del proceso de distribución, desde que es recibido de las plantas ubicadas en el extranjero hasta que es comprado por clientes finales en el mercado español. Uno de los objetivos es mostrar el diagrama de flujo de la empresa con sus respectivos tiempos de ejecución de las operaciones llevadas a cabo para un posterior análisis cuyo resultado sea en una mejora del flujo del producto dentro de sus varias fases. El principal objectiu és trobar situacions que es van repetint al llarg del temps en els incidents a les carreteres i els que es donen de forma comú a accidents greus o mortals. In this article we report for the first time the human occupations of the Late Mesolithic period at the Balma del Barranc de la Fontanella site (Vilafranca, Castelló). Based on the analysis of the lithic industry, the fauna, the ornament and the sedimentology, the characteristics of this site are analyzed and contextualized both locally (Maestrat/Maestrazgo region) and within Mediterranean Iberia. In addition, comparing dates of this site with those from other Mediterranean sites we deepen in the debates over the time span of each of the phases and their relationship with both the Early Mesolithic and the arrival of the Neolithic in this high mountain area. From the data obtained, it can be concluded that La Fontanella was occupied in both phases of the Late Mesolithic and that it possibly functioned as a secondary settlement devoted to hunting, and that a part of game (the deer) would be transported to another place., En este artículo damos a conocer por primera vez las ocupaciones humanas del Mesolítico reciente del yacimiento de la Balma del Barranc de la Fontanella (Vilafranca, Castelló). A partir del análisis de la industria lítica, la fauna, el adorno y la sedimentología se realiza un análisis de las características de este yacimiento y se contextualiza tanto a nivel local (Comarca del Maestrat/Maestrazgo) como del Mediterráneo Ibérico. Además, la comparación de las dataciones de este conjunto con el resto de los yacimientos mediterráneos permite profundizar en los debates sobre la duración de cada una de las fases y sus relaciones tanto con el Mesolítico antiguo como con la llegada del Neolítico a esta zona montañosa. Los datos obtenidos permiten concluir que La Fontanella estuvo ocupada en las dos fases del Mesolítico reciente, que posiblemente funcionó como un asentamiento secundario orientado a la caza y que una parte de la misma (los ciervos) seria transportada a otro lugar.

There is an agreement regarding the importance of communication in the promotion processes of all types of technical or entrepreneurial initiatives. Communication skills have to make it possible to obtain the maximum interaction with the agents involved and facilitate the commitment of these agents to a project. In this context, communicators’ erroneous perception of their own abilities and of how they are transmitting the information is a significant drawback that calls for improvement. Video-recording someone when speaking creates an impact on them given that the possibility of seeing themselves implies a significant change in the learning process. This technique has been applied as part of the teaching activities in the energy engineering master at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and InnoEnergy. In the experience developed, the students follow a first block in which they analyse a technological opportunity and subsequently detail a proposal to develop this opportunity. They prepare an oral presentation to deliver their proposal. This presentation is video-recorded and is the starting point of a second block of the course. In this block, some concepts and guidelines on communication are presented. Finally, a new proposal presentation based on the analysis and improvement of the previous presentation carried out is delivered. In most countries, a government agency or collaborating organization gathers information on occupational accidents. Comparisons based on a single factor such as autonomous community, activity sector or others, often leads to contradictory conclusions. The use of this information for comparison is not immediate because the different characteristics considered give place to different possible comparisons. The elaboration of a single baseline for each set of characteristics is addressed. The method proposed comes from the data available in Spain but could be applied to other cases. The method consists of: (1) selecting factors–those selected are age, sex, autonomous community and activity; (2) the generation of a synthetic population based on data from a survey and general proportions by applying the Optimal Representative Sample Weighting (rsw); and (3) the prediction of the accidents ratio for each set of characteristic by using a XGBoost decision trees ensemble. Diseño de un programa de colaboración entre startups del sector de la movilidad y los socios industriales de CARNET (Future Mobility Research HUB), división de la fundación CIT UPC, con el objetivo de fomentar la innovación colaborativa y monetizar el ecosistema existente. En los últimos años, el creciente sector de la movilidad ha experimentado una trans- formación, con el auge de nuevas tecnologías y modelos de negocio innovadores que per- turban los modelos tradicionales de transporte. Esto ha creado nuevas oportunidades de innovación y crecimiento económico para las startups, que están a la vanguardia de esta transformación, para desarrollar tecnologías y productos de última generación que pue- den cambiar la forma en que viajamos. Las startups desempeñan pues un papel clave en esta transformación, aprovechando su innovación y agilidad para lanzar nuevos productos y servicios al mercado. Sin embargo, a pesar del potencial de estas startups, a menudo se enfrentan a retos a la hora de escalar sus negocios y comercializar sus productos y/o servicios debido a la falta de recursos, experiencia y acceso a socios industriales. Para abordar estos retos, esta tesis propone el diseño de un programa de colaboración entre startups del sector de la movilidad y los socios industriales de CARNET- Future Mobility Research HUB, con el objetivo de fomentar la innovación colaborativa y mone- tizar el ecosistema existente. Road traffic accidents are a major public health concern that continues to threaten the safety of individuals worldwide. These incidents result in many injuries, disabilities, and fatalities, which not only cause immense pain and suffering to victims and their loved ones but also sig- nificantly impact society as a whole. Consequently, it could be useful to identify patterns that can help define and implement effective preventive measures. In this context, this project aims to study traffic accidents in Barcelona between 2021 and 2022, using available data from Open Data BCN. The project will apply clustering, a powerful technique that can identify patterns in data. Specif- ically, various experiments will be conducted to detect the main characteristics of the studied accidents and obtain relevant profiles. These profiles will be analyzed to prevent similar incidents in the future. The programming language used in this thesis is Python to achieve these clusters and conduct the analysis. It offers a rich set of data processing, analysis, and visualization tools, making it a highly suitable choice for the proposed project. El mètode de l'agricultura vertical (agricultura 4.0) es troba en un procés d'evolució constant. A causa de la gran inversió que s'està fent en el sector, aquest avança amb passes de gegant. En aquest projecte s'han estudiat diferents empreses del sector, nacionals i internacionals, per a aconseguir tenir una visió del sector de manera realista. A més, s'ha aconseguit establir una unió amb algunes d'aquestes empreses. Amb aquesta immersió en el sector, s'ha aconseguit entendre com ha evolucionat el sector durant la seva curta història, i s'ha descobert en quin punt es troben ara els avanços tecnològics, així com les empreses del sector. L'objectiu principal d'aquest projecte és la creació d'un Pla de Negoci unit a una posterior anàlisi d'aquest. Per a això s'han analitzat els models de les empreses i s'ha realitzat una última proposta. Per a la proposta de l'anàlisi del Pla de Negoci s'han estudiat els marges que s'obtenen amb els diferents productes, per a així entendre que productes podrien donar més benefici en funció de si aquests es venguessin a majoristes, a través d'una marca blanca o a través d'una marca pròpia. A més, s'han considerat en compte les grandàries dels mercats de cada producte. Perquè, com més gran sigui el mercat més fàcil serà aconseguir vendre el producte a través d'una marca pròpia. Finalment, s'ha tingut en compte el lloc de producció i la seva posterior venda. Aquesta informació permet calcular el preu real de venda. L'estudi permet concloure que realitzar una venda de maduixes a Dinamarca, mitjançant el mètode hidropònic, és la manera més segura i la que proporciona major benefici, a causa de l'alt preu de venda i del gran consum de maduixes al país i als voltants en els quals es pot arribar a vendre, El método de la agricultura vertical (agricultura 4.0) se encuentra en un proceso de evolución constante. Debido a la gran inversión que se está haciendo en el sector, este avanza a pasos agigantados. En este proyecto se han estudiado diferentes empresas del sector, nacionales e internacionales, para conseguir tener una visión del sector de manera realista. Además, se ha logrado establecer una unión con algunas de estas empresas. Con esta inmersión en el sector, se ha conseguido entender cómo ha evolucionado el sector durante su corta historia, y se ha descubierto en qué punto se encuentran ahora los avances tecnológicos, así como las empresas del sector. El objetivo principal de este proyecto es la creación de un Plan de Negocio unido a un posterior análisis de este. Para ello se han analizado los modelos de las empresas y se ha realizado una última propuesta. Para la propuesta del análisis del Plan de Negocio se han estudiado los márgenes que se obtienen con los diferentes productos, para así entender que productos podrían dar más beneficio en función de si estos se vendieran a mayoristas, a través de una marca blanca o a través de una marca propia. Además, se ha tenido en cuenta los tamaños de los mercados de cada producto. Pues, cuanto mayor sea el mercado más fácil será conseguir vender el producto a través de una marca propia. Por último, se ha tenido en cuenta el lugar de producción y su posterior venta. Esta información permite calcular el precio real de venta. El estudio permite concluir que realizar una venta de fresas en Dinamarca, mediante el método hidropónico, es la manera más segura y la que proporciona mayor beneficio, debido al alto precio de venta y el gran consumo de fresas en el país y en los alrededores en los que se puede llegar a vender, The vertical farming method (agriculture 4.0) is in a process of constant evolution. In addition, the size of the market for each product has been considered. The larger the market, the easier it will be to sell the product through a private label. Finally, the place of production and subsequent sale has been taken into account. This information makes it possible to calculate the real selling price. The study leads to the conclusion that selling strawberries in Denmark, using the hydroponic method, is the reliable and most profitable way, due to the high selling price and the large consumption of strawberries in the country and the surrounding area where they can be sold

The purpose of the study is to research AM’s future prospects. Some of the most commonly used AM technologies will be assessed based on how their being used and what benefits they bring when compared to traditional manufacturing techniques. Further, the technology will be assessed based on its current state and internal/external factors which impacts AM’s developments. Plausible future applications within the automotive industry will also be determined. That is, what it might be able to achieve production-wise and the potential it implies for automotive actors. This study investigates the reasoning in selection and implementation of software maintenance methods and tools and identifies potential barriers for successful adoption. This is done through qualitative interviews with practitioners of software maintenance in industry and in accordance with the existing literature. One main reason was found why a certain maintenance tool was chosen, the usability of the tool. However, the popularity of the tool was also a contributing factor for tool selection. Furthermore, three key issues were identified for successful implementation and adoption of the tools: limited awareness of the tool's availability, confusion about its intended usage, and lack of understanding on how to properly utilize it. It is left to the practitioners and stakeholders to weigh and evaluate the significance of the individual reasons. The blockchain is an emerging technology which has recently been generalized to many areas with huge potential. Its operating mode fits perfectly in the supply chains, regardless their sector. Normally, they comprise all the procedures and activities from the picking of the raw material to the final delivery of the product. Some of the worries are the traceability of products, inventory management, quality control and deadline fulfillment. The solution to many of the problems in these areas can be found in the use of the blockchain technology, as it permits not only improving the velocity of the products delivery to the client, but also assure the traceability, to ensure an excellent quality control, a good data transference and information security. This research assignment focuses in the study and knowledge of the functions and potentialities of the blockchain technology and shows which business procedures can enjoy the potential underlying the technology. To answer the questions suggested in this paper, it was analysed study cases by sectors, business procedures and the potential of the application of the blockchain technology in the management of the supply chain. In the evaluation of this potential, it was used the SCOR model to understand the existing procedures and, later, it was made an individual study to the categories and their procedures to analyse the difficulties and necessities. After that, the difficulties and necessities of each processes category were studied. Thus, it was possible to qualify the importance and carry out a matching between the difficulties and/ or necessities of each process and the potential of using the blockchain technology. Collaborative robots play an increasingly important role in the automation process, allowing humans to share their workspace and payload. With the application of co-bots, humans can operate together in tasks that require direct interaction and coordination, as well as helping them in monotonous and repetitive tasks, which are too often dangerous and unhealthy for humans to perform. Co-bots are flexible machines that help improve efficiency and quality, having a high level of accuracy and being able to be easily programmed by any operator. One of the main concerns with the utilization of collaborative robots in the present is the safety of the human collaborator, although co-bots are equipped with safety features meant to avoid collisions and other accidents. This research assignment focuses on understanding the impact of co-bots in different industries, and what should be expected from them in the near future. The methods used are the analysis of expert’s opinions on what technologies will soon be available, as well as the examination of projects being developed to support their expectations. The research shows that co-bots will become more popular in the future, especially in the manufacturing and healthcare industries. Experts agree that robots will become more human-like, acquiring skills and competences like machine vision, human-like learning processes and memorization of the operators’ preferences, while still being mindful of the human’s safety

[EN] Les Guixeres was excavated discontinuously between 1974 and 1984 and the Works have been rebooted since 2015. In total, more than 200 m2 have been worked on a total area of approximately 2500 m2. This communication will present the new data o fan archaeological complex with 4 different stratified occupations (Cardial Neolithic, Epicardial Neolithic, Postcardial Neolithic and Late Neolithic) where, in addition to archaeological levels, dozens of negative structures associated with all the documented phases: silos, combustion structures, post holes, container pits, etc., [ES] El poblado de Les Guixeres fue excavado de manera discontinua entre 1974 y 1984 y los trabajos han sido retomados desde el año 2015. En total, se ha intervenido en más de 200 m2 sobre una superficie total aproximada de 2500 m2. En esta comunicación se presentarán los nuevos datos de un complejo arqueológico con 4 ocupaciones estratificas difertentes (Neolítico Cardial, Neolítico Epicardial, Neolítico Postcardial y Neolítico Final) donde, además de niveles arqueológicos, se documentan decenas de estructuras negativas asociadas a todas las fases: silos, estructuras de combustión, agujeros de poste, fosas-contenedor, etc.

[EN] We present the morphometric and osteopathological analysis of three small-sized (32-38 cm) robust dogs with deformations in the diaphyses and epiphyses (chondrodystrophy) and in the foramen magnum. They come from different sites in the north-east of the Iberian Peninsula. The oldest was found in a silo at the Ibero-Roman site, Serrat dels Espinyers (Isona, Lleida), dated to the end of the 3rd century and the first half of the 2nd century BC. Two more modern ones were documented at Roman sites: one at the CR Empúries necropolis (L’Escala, Girona), dated to the second half of the 2nd century AD and another at the Can Verboom site (Premià de Dalt, Barcelona), dated to the end of the 4th century AD. These cases significantly increase the number of individuals diagnosed so far for this period in this geographical area. Their morphological characteristics allow us to classify them among the most robust and heavy dwarf dogs documented in European canine variability from the Roman colonization onwards. Their exceptional nature is due to the scarce current information on this type of dog in the peninsular territory. At the same time, this work evaluates their possible uses, as well as making some preliminary approaches to their genetic characterization. III y la primera mitad del s. II a.C. Dos más modernos se documentaron en yacimientos romanos: uno en la necrópolis CR Empúries (L’Escala, Girona), fechada en la segunda mitad del s. Estos casos incrementan de forma importante los individuos diagnosticados hasta ahora para este período en esta área geográfica. Sus características morfológicas permiten clasificarlos entre los perros enanos más robustos y pesados que se documentan dentro de la variabilidad canina europea a partir de la colonización romana. Su excepcionalidad se debe a la escasa información actual sobre este tipo de perro en el territorio peninsular. A su vez, este trabajo evalúa sus posibles usos, y se presentan unas aproximaciones preliminares a su caracterización genética. La posible consanguinidad de estas poblaciones puede explicar la permanencia de alguna patología genética vinculada al enanismo: la condrodisplasia.

One of the most sought-after but equally complex and thus challenging areas in financial markets is the forecasting future prices. The complex- ity is due to the stochastic, noisy, and dynamically changing nature of a stock market, as participants constantly engage in competition and profit maximization. Because of the abilities of machine learning models often possesses, in terms of adapting to ever-changing environmental factors and parameters, it has gained popularity for solving this ever-persisting chal- lenge. The aim of this study was to investigate if more complex machine learning models, such as state-of-the-art Transformers, were superior to traditional methods as well as the long-established ARIMA model, by training them on stock data from the S&P 500 index. The four machine learning models compared in this study were a multilayer perceptron, a LSTM model, a LSTM autoencoder and lastly a Transformer with at- tention. This chapter includes a description of how the study was conducted. In order to explore the possibilities for private companies to use open data, an extensive literature review was conducted. Furthermore, this helped to get familiarized with the subject of open data and understand how it is utilized today by public companies. While researching different methods for data analytics that are being used in transportation, it was found that predictive analytics was one of the most prominent methods as it can be used in numerous ways in order to improve predictions and planning within organizations. The use of predictive analytics in transportation includes predicting delays and traffic conditions which were found to be appropriate areas of analytics with regards to the types of open data that are commonly available. Hence, these will be the areas of transport analytics that will be focused on in this study. In order to analyze the full potential of open transport data, both as a means of improving existing businesses as well as to allow for new business opportunities to originate, the methodology had to be considered accordingly. To scope out opportunities for improvement of business activities, research projects were reviewed where a number of types of open transport-related data were used to predict future outcomes of traffic conditions and events in public transportation that could have potential impacts on how daily activities within transportation organizations are performed. The projects were chosen based on the potential accessibility that the data used for the analysis has in Swedish open data sources, in order to make sure that corresponding solutions to the problems are feasible to perform in Sweden. In this document, we use the data of real energy consumptions of 5,567 households gathered in 2013. The case study was held in London and is based on a simulation model which performs an hourly analysis over a period of one year, considering the solar radiation at the target location as well as the techno-economic characteristics of the equipment. International mobility of students is a phenomenon of increasing importance in the higher education scenario. Over the last years, an increase of studies and investigations around this topic has been observed. This article presents the results of an exploratory study whose purpose was to analyze the motivations and decision factors in the process of mobility of Brazilian university students who chose Spain for their higher education. The methodology utilized was quantitative research, a 3-point Likert scale, with 216 students from the Brazilian academic community in Spain, spread across undergraduate, master, and doctoral courses, and the use of statistical data sources. Comparing previous studies in the relevant literature and the results of this study has demonstrated that factors as the institution´s academic level and prestige and forward-looking perspectives are coincidental in both. In fact, these factors are included among the most significant ones in almost all studies on international mobility and have also been highlighted by researchers, confirming the importance of these factors when making the decision of studying abroad. On the other hand, among the factors that come forward as the most relevant in the flow of Brazilian students towards Spain, standing out are the international experience, scholarships, the country´s image and culture, prestige and forward-looking perspectives, and the Spanish language., A mobilidade internacional de estudantes é um fenômeno de crescente importância no cenário da educação superior. Nota-se nos últimos anos um crescimento de estudos na literatura e investigações acerca deste tema. Este artigo apresenta os resultados de um estudo exploratório, cujo objetivo foi analisar as motivações e fatores de decisão no processo de mobilidade dos estudantes universitários brasileiros que elegeram a Espanha para seus estudos superiores. A metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa quantitativa, escala de Likert de 3 pontos, com 216 estudantes membros da comunidade estudantil brasileira na Espanha, distribuídos nos cursos de graduação, mestrado e doutorado, e o uso de fontes de dados estatísticos. A comparação entre os estudos anteriores da literatura e os resultados deste estudo demonstraram que os fatores nível acadêmico do centro e prestígio e perspectivas de futuro são coincidentes em ambos. De fato, esses fatores estão entre os mais significativos em quase todos os estudos de mobilidade internacional e também foram destacados pelos pesquisadores, confirmando a importância desses fatores na decisão de estudar no exterior. Por outro lado, entre os fatores que se apresentaram como mais relevantes no fluxo de estudantes brasileiros à Espanha, destacaram-se a experiência internacional, as bolsas de estudos, a imagem e cultura do país, o prestígio e as perspectivas futuras e o idioma espanhol.

El siguiente informe se origina en base a un problema planteado en la empresa ID Logistics de Castellar del Vallès. Este problema se describe como la necesidad de implementar un sistema de localización de herramientas de trabajo dentro del almacén y para este fin se plantea el siguiente análisis ofreciendo así una solución. El estudio contempla la búsqueda de información sobre alternativas existentes que sean capaces de localizar herramientas en interiores. Dicha búsqueda se realiza en base a una pauta sobre la correcta obtención de información proporcionada por el libro de J. Olivella Nadal. Technology Evaluation For Entrepreneurs. España. Bookboon, 2018. [1]. En base a la obtención de la información deseada, que cuenta con las posibles tecnologías que pueden dar solución al problema planteado, se procede a la definición de criterios que servirán para comparar cuál de las alternativas es la más adecuada según las necesidades de la empresa y el objetivo principal del informe. Dicha comparación se realizará mediante un estudio de toma de decisiones basado en jerarquías y que responde al nombre de AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) planteado por Thomas L. Saaty (1994). Aplicando esta metodología se llega a cumplir con los objetivos establecidos inicialmente que consisten en encontrar una solución que localice mediante coordenadas exactas las herramientas del almacén. El resultado obtenido posteriormente a la aplicación de AHP es satisfactorio porque se ofrece una solución exacta, teniendo mayor peso en los criterios que más importantes son para la empresa y asimismo cumpliendo con los objetivos planteados al inicio. Finalmente el informe obtenido se complementa con un estudio económico y medioambiental en base a la alternativa elegida.

In a recently created company like Wallbox, noted for being one of the most relevant international startups in recent years and for leading the way towards a new way of managing energy, the speed of growth is vertiginous. It is therefore not surprising that the company's foundations are not yet fully defined, as it is constantly under construction. This is even more marked when we look at the operations department, bearing in mind that the company's exponential growth has led it to reach major milestones such as a five-fold increase in production capacity in just one year. It is in this context, between the desire to maintain the growth that has taken place so far and to consolidate the company's foundations, that the need arose to create the continuous improvement department in the operations area. The aim of this move was to work on the development of these foundations in order to adjust them to the changing needs of an innovative large company like Wallbox. The creation of this new department meant starting to question the functioning of the operations area in order to evaluate it and thus detect possible points for improvement. With the first analyses that were carried out, it became clear that the first point to work on was the definition and implementation of indicators that would allow us to know the daily status of the manufacturing process and therefore define a measurable and achievable target situation. This department is currently fully operational, continuously analysing the different situations that arise in the day-to-day running of the company in order to present and implement different improvement projects. The fact of joining this department has allowed me to discover a series of needs that have yet to be covered in the company, which has led me to propose a new improvement project that I am setting out in this work. Al present treball es realitza un anàlisi dels accidents de trànsit que han succeït a la ciutat de Barcelona durant els anys 2018 i 2019 mitjançant clustering, tècnica de Machine Learning no supervisat. Els objectius es centren en detectar aquelles situacions comuns en el conjunt d’accidents, partint de les dades públiques de que es disposa i caracteritzant-les mitjançant un conjunt de variables relacionades amb els accidents, l’estat del trànsit i la meteorologia. També es crea un precedent de la utilització de les esmentades tècniques en l’estudi i caracterització dels accidents de trànsit a la cuitat de Barcelona. Fent un anàlisi i adequació de les variables recollides, s’aplica els algorismes seleccionats a dos grups de dades diferents i s’analitza els resultats obtinguts, avaluant la seva validesa i rellevància. Aquests grups són el conjunt de tots els accidents i el subgrup d’accidents més greus. Finalment, es conclou que les situacions identificades són rellevants, de gran interès i que el mètode emprat ha aconseguit capturar les característiques dels accidents estudiats.

En aquest treball explicarem de manera breu, planera, però no per això menys rigorosa, els resultats de gairebé cent anys d’investigació de la prehistòria a Montsant, i molt especialment dels darrers treballs i descobertes que dos grups de recerca estem portant a terme en diversos jaciments arqueològics, especialment a les Coves del Fem (Ulldemolins), liderat per un equip procedent de la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, el Consell Superior d’Investigacions Científiques (IMF, Barcelona) i el Museu d’Arqueologia de Catalunya, i a l’Hort de la Boquera (Margalef), en aquest cas dirigit per investigadors de la Universitat de Barcelona. Aquestes recerques són, ara per ara, imprescindibles per a la comprensió d’aquest període a Catalunya i també a tot Europa, fins al punt que en alguns casos, com és el cas de l’Abric del Filador (Margalef), han esdevingut models en la interpretació de les diferents fases cronològiques i culturals de la prehistòria. Altres jaciments han fornit les primeres evidències d’art moble al nord-est de la península Ibèrica, fent de Montsant, juntament amb altres localitzacions pròximes —Falset (Priorat) i Vimbodí (Conca de Barberà)—, una regió única a Catalunya en aquest tipus de manifestacions artístiques.
