We experimentally investigate Andreev transport through the interface between an indium superconductor and the edge of the InAs/GaSb bilayer. To cover all possible regimes of InAs/GaSb spectrum, we study samples with 10 nm, 12 nm, and 14 nm thick InAs quantum wells. For the trivial case of a direct band insulator in 10~nm samples, differential resistance demonstrates standard Andreev reflection. For InAs/GaSb structures with band inversion (12~nm and 14 nm samples), we observe distinct low-energy structures, which we regard as direct evidence for the proximity-induced superconductivity within the current-carrying edge state. For 14~nm InAs well samples, we additionally observe mesoscopic-like resistance fluctuations, which are subjected to threshold suppression in low magnetic fields., Comment: final version

Several Koml\'os like properties in Banach lattices are investigated. We prove that $C(K)$ fails the $oo$-pre-Koml\'os property, assuming that the compact Hausdorff space $K$ has a nonempty separable open subset $U$ without isolated points such that every $u\in U$ has countable neighborhood base. We prove also that for any infinite dimensional Banach lattice $E$ there is an unbounded convex $uo$-pre-Koml\'os set $C\subseteq E_+$ which is not $uo$-Koml\'os., Comment: 8 pages

Let $\mathcal{M}=\{m_\lambda\}_{\lambda\in\Lambda}$ be a separating family of lattice seminorms on a vector lattice $X$, then $(X,\mathcal{M})$ is called a multi-normed vector lattice (or MNVL). We write $x_\alpha \xrightarrow{\mathrm{m}} x$ if $m_\lambda(x_\alpha-x)\to 0$ for all $\lambda\in\Lambda$. A net $x_\alpha$ in an MNVL $X=(X,\mathcal{M})$ is said to be unbounded $m$-convergent (or $um$-convergent) to $x$ if $\lvert x_\alpha-x \rvert\wedge u \xrightarrow{\mathrm{m}} 0$ for all $u\in X_+$. $um$-Convergence generalizes $un$-convergence \cite{DOT,KMT} and $uaw$-convergence \cite{Zab}, and specializes $up$-convergence \cite{AEEM1} and $u\tau$-convergence \cite{DEM2}. $um$-Convergence is always topological, whose corresponding topology is called unbounded $m$-topology (or $um$-topology). We show that, for an $m$-complete metrizable MNVL $(X,\mathcal{M})$, the $um$-topology is metrizable iff $X$ has a countable topological orthogonal system. In terms of $um$-completeness, we present a characterization of MNVLs possessing both Lebesgue's and Levi's properties. Then, we characterize MNVLs possessing simultaneously the $\sigma$-Lebesgue and $\sigma$-Levi properties in terms of sequential $um$-completeness. Finally, we prove that any $m$-bounded and $um$-closed set is $um$-compact iff the space is atomic and has Lebesgue's and Levi's properties.

Let $x_\alpha$ be a net in a locally solid vector lattice $(X,\tau)$; we say that $x_\alpha$ is unbounded $\tau$-convergent to a vector $x\in X$ if $\lvert x_\alpha-x \rvert\wedge w \xrightarrow{\tau} 0$ for all $w\in X_+$. In this paper, we study general properties of unbounded $\tau$-convergence (shortly, $u\tau$-convergence). $u\tau$-Convergence generalizes unbounded norm convergence and unbounded absolute weak convergence in normed lattices that have been investigated recently. Besides, we introduce $u\tau$-topology and study briefly metrizabililty and completeness of this topology.

A linear operator $T$ between two lattice-normed spaces is said to be $p$-compact if, for any $p$-bounded net $x_\alpha$, the net $Tx_\alpha$ has a $p$-convergent subnet. $p$-Compact operators generalize several known classes of operators such as compact, weakly compact, order weakly compact, $AM$-compact operators, etc. Similar to $M$-weakly and $L$-weakly compact operators, we define $p$-$M$-weakly and $p$-$L$-weakly compact operators and study some of their properties. We also study $up$-continuous and $up$-compact operators between lattice-normed vector lattices.

We investigate charge transport through the junction between a niobium superconductor and the edge of a two-dimensional electron-hole bilayer, realized in an InAs/GaSb double quantum well. For the transparent interface with a superconductor, we demonstrate that the junction resistance is determined by the interlayer charge transfer near the interface. From an analysis of experimental $I-V$ curves we conclude that the proximity induced superconductivity efficiently couples electron and hole layers at low currents. The critical current demonstrates periodic dependence on the in-plane magnetic field, while it is monotonous for the field which is normal to the bilayer plane., Comment: 5 pages

A net $x_\alpha$ in a lattice-normed vector lattice $(X,p,E)$ is unbounded $p$-convergent to $x\in X$ if $p(|x_\alpha-x|\wedge u)\xrightarrow{o} 0$ for every $u\in X_+$. This convergence has been investigated recently for $(X,p,E)=(X,\lvert\cdot \rvert,X)$ under the name of $uo$-convergence, for $(X,p,E)=(X,\lVert\cdot\rVert,{\mathbb R})$ under the name of $un$-convergence, and also for $(X,p,{\mathbb R}^{X^*})$, where $p(x)[f]:=|f|(|x|)$, under the name $uaw$-convergence. We experimentally investigate transport through the side junction between a niobium superconductor and the mesa edge of a two-dimensional system, realized in an InAs/GaSb double quantum well with band inversion. We demonstrate, that different transport regimes can be achieved by variation of the mesa step. We observe anomalous behavior of Andreev reflection within a finite low-bias interval, which is invariant for both transport regimes. We connect this behavior with the transition from retro- (at low biases) to specular (at high ones) Andreev reflection channels in an InAs/GaSb double quantum well with band inversion., Comment: As accepted to JETP Letters, vol. 104, issue 1

- Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of periodization of universal history in the work "A Short Course in Economic Science" written by Alexander Bogdanov. It analyzes the changes in the periodization of the historical process in various editions of the work, identifies the intellectual sources of those changes and establishes a connection between the evolution of Bogdanov’s historical concept and the development of historical science in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The main direction in the evolution of Bogdanov’s historical views was the transition from a linear progressive scheme of world history to a description of history as a complex non-linear process in which periods of development are combined with periods of decline and stagnation. Abandoning the idea of steady linear progress, Bogdanov also abandoned the strict correspondence between a specific economic form and a certain historical era and concluded that various economic forms could coexist. The changes in Bogdanov’s approaches to the question of the role of economic forms in the periodization of world historical process testify to his search for special features specifying various eras in the history of mankind and reflect a general interest in the substantial characteristics of time characteristic of the European intellectual space of the first third of the 20th century. © 2020, Perm State University. Arsenic concentration in marine areas are higher than in terrestrial environment, because most of its compounds are water soluble, and water bodies serve as a sink for this element. Arsenic compounds, though naturally present in the sediments, are considered a threat to the environment, due to possible transformation to its toxic species – As3+ and As5+. Natural background concentration of arsenic compounds is highly variable, as it differs both with the type of sediments, presence of ferromanganese nodules, iron sulphides or proximity to sources. In the Baltic Sea, majority of As originates from river runoff, while additional source of arsenic compounds in some areas of the Baltic are arsenic containing chemical warfare agents dumped into the sea after second world war.

on the occas'ion of hi,s 65th anniuersary Various convergences in vector lattices were historicalll' a subject of deep investigation v'hich stems from the begining of the 20th century in works of Riesz, Kantorovich, Nakano, !'ulikh, Zanen, a',d marl)/ other mathematicians. The stud,v of the unbounded order convergence had been initiated b5' Nakano in late 40th in connection with Birkhoff's ergodic theorem. The idea of Nakano $-as to define the almost everywhere convergence in terms of lattice operations without the direct use of measure theory. Many years later it was recognised that the unbounded order convergence is also rathe useful in probability theory. Since then. the idea of investigating of convergences by using their unbounded versions, have been exploited in several papers. For instance, unbounded convergences in vector lattices have attracted attention of many researchers in order to find nes' approaches to r,-arious problems of functional analysis, operator theorl', variational caicuius, theory of risk measures in mathematical finance, stochastic processes, etc. Some of those unbounded convergences, like unbounded norm convergence. unbounded multi-norm convergence. unbounded r-convergence are topological. Others are not topological in general, for example: the unbounded order convergence, the unbounded relative uniform convergence) various unbounded convergences in lattice-normed lattices, etc. Topological convergences are. as usual, more flexible for an investigation due to the compactness arguments, etc. The non-topological convergences axe more complicated in genelal, as it can be seen on an example of the a.e-convergence. In the present paper we present recent developments in convergence vector lattices with emphasis on reiated unbounded convergences. Special attention is paid to the case of con\rergence in lattice multi pseudo normed vector lattices that generalizes most of cases which were discussed in the literature in the last 5 vears.

- Abstract
This paper presents reconstructions of ice sheet boundaries, lacustrine and marine paleobasins, as well as the connections of the Barents and Baltic seas with the North Atlantic from the Last Glacial Maximum to the Holocene. The reconstructions are based on original and published data obtained from the northern and western parts of the Barents Sea and Baltic depressions with account for the available regional schematic maps of deglaciation. The early deglaciation of the Scandinavian–Barents ice sheet culminated with the Bølling-Allerød interstadial (14.5–12.9 cal ka BP), which was characterized by a more vigorous Atlantic meridional overturning circulation (AMOC) and a corresponding increase in surface Atlantic water inflow into the Barents Sea through deep troughs. The Baltic Ice Lake (BIL) remained a dammed-up isolated basin during deglaciation from 16.0 to 11.7 cal ka BP. In the Younger Dryas (YD), the lake drained into the North Sea and was replaced by a brackish Yoldia Sea (YS) at the beginning of the Holocene (Preboreal, 11.7–10.7 cal ka BP), due to a limited connection between two basins through the Närke Strait. In the Barents Sea, the next increase in the Atlantic water influx into the deep basins corresponded to terminal YD and Preboreal events with a culmination in the Early Holocene. The Yoldia Sea became a lake again during the next stage, the Ancylus (~10.7–8.8 cal ka BP). Atlantic water inflow both into the Barents and Baltic seas varied during the Holocene, with a maximum contribution in the Early Holocene, when the Littorina Sea (LS, 8–4 cal ka BP) connection with the North Sea via the Danish Straits was formed to replace the Ancylus Lake. The recent, post-Littorina stage (PS, the last 4 cal ka) of the Baltic Sea evolution began in the Late Holocene.

The research is devoted to a so-called epoch of the Slavic renaissance which covered first the Austrian empire’s Slavic areas in the turn of the XVIII-XIX centuries. The Slavic studies scholar and diplomat Alexander Fyodorovich Gilferding (1831–1872) belonged to the younger generation of the Slavophiles showing in Russia the greatest interest to the national movements in Slavic lands. A number of articles in which the question on the Slavic people status in the Austrian empire was touched upon was written by him. The views on the Slavic question of the well-known historian and ethnographer A. F. Gilferding are reconstructed on the basis of his essays. The historical context of formation of these views is revealed and their interrelation with a religious and philosophical component of the Slavophile doctrine is analyzed. It is proved that Gilferding relied, on the one hand, on ideas of the Slavophile, and on the other hand on ideas of the Pan-Slavism. In the articles he emphasized that the Pan-Slavism consists not only in rapprochement of the Slavic peoples, but also in development of the national Slavic principles in each Slavic land, which are best of all remained in Russia. Gilferding’s views were well accepted by Russian Slavic studies scholars, however they did not find support among the Austrian Slavs

The article studies the views of Ivan Aksakov and Nikolay Kostomarov on the national question in the Western Krai basing on their letters to each other and analyzes the historical context of their correspondence. It is shown how the letters under study reflected the competition between the Russian and Ukrainian national projects outlined by Aksakov and Kostomarov respectively. The author also covers the views of the both correspondents on the Polish national project which was opposed to the abovementioned conceptions of the nation building

- Abstract
The investigation on the geology of the Sierra Leone Rise contains seismic, petrographic and sedimentological data from the Soviet expedition of R/V »Professor Shtokman«. New results on bottom relief and structure of the Sierra Leone Rise (SLR) are documented in Figs. 1–7. Detailled descriptions of dredge samples of trachyandesites, trachytes, trachyte tuffs, trachybasalts and their tuffs and their chemical composition (Tab. 2) together with the seismic structure of the SLR allow some assumptions on the age and origin of the Rise. The SLR is part of the equatorial Atlantic oceanic crust, that formed in the initial phase of break-up of Gondwana (110–80×106y). During the period 80–90×106 years, when volcanic eruptions were highly intensified in the area, major parts of the SLR have been formed. Some of the volcanic seamounts appeared as islands above sea-level in the Late Cretaceous/Paleocene: the magmatic rocks are more similar to ocean island basalt than to normal oceanic crust. Cenozoic sediments of the SLR reveal continuous sedimentation, which was controlled by surface water productivity, carbonate dissolution and terrigenous matter supply. The Eocene chert sedimentation phase was followed by a period of cyclic carbonate sedimentation. In the Neogene tectonic activity lead to vertical displacements. On several peaked seamounts coral reefs grew. The reef phase was followed by a sinking of the area. At the end of the Neogene the SLR became aseismic. The Late Quaternary sediment cover is studied by means of grab samples and sediment cores from various water depths. The main finding is varying CaCO3 content with depth and with time, controlled mainly by dissolution.

- Abstract
New tectonic and bathymetric charts of the Mediterranean Sea, some results of seismic investigations, tectonic charts of Europe and Eurasia, data on volcanism, earthquakes and gravimetry are used in this paper. The different geological history is clearly expressed in the bottom topography of the Western and Eastern basins of the Mediterranean Sea. Accumulative plains occupy large areas in the Algiers-Provence and Tyrrhenian basins. Abyssal areas and two systems of deep-sea depressions are found. The thickness of the sediments vary between the eastern and western part of the Mediterranean Sea. There is no granitic layer in the deep sea parts of certain sections. The Mediterranean Sea is considered as a basin of transition type of the earth's crust. Side by side with the stabilized areas there are also some areas of uncompleted Alpine cycle with signs of transformation of the continental crust into the oceanic type.
