BACKGROUND: Heart rate variability (HRV) has been found reduced in patients with schizophrenia and depression. However, there is a lack of knowledge on how demographic, lifestyle, and pharmacological factors contribute to the reduction in HRV in these patients. METHODS: We recruited 37 patients with schizophrenia, 43 patients with unipolar depression, and 64 healthy controls. A combined chest-worn HRV and accelerometer device was used in an ambulatory measurement. Age, sex, anticholinergic burden of medication, nicotine use, body mass index, and ongoing physical activity were assessed in multiple regression models regarding their influence on HRV, measured as the standard deviation of all the RR intervals (SDNN). RESULTS: In the fully adjusted model, schizophrenia (β = -0.23, P = 0.019), depression (β = -0.18, P = 0.028), age (β = -0.34, P < 0.000), ongoing physical activity (β = -0.23, P = 0.001), and anticholinergic burden (β = -0.19, P = 0.025) influenced SDNN negatively. Sex, nicotine use, and BMI had negligible effects on SDNN. CONCLUSIONS: We show for the first time that a quantified score of anticholinergic burden of medication has a negative relationship to HRV in patients with schizophrenia or depression, but that the diagnoses themselves still exhibit an effect on HRV.

Tal i bråkform anses som ett arbetsområde som både lärare anser är svårt att lära ut och eleveratt lära, särskilt när det är i kombination med en tallinje. Forskning visar att mycket avmatematiken framförs via envägskommunikation, oftast genom lärare till elev. Samtidigt visarforskningen även att flervägskommunikation är en väsentlig del i matematiken för att nå enhögre kunskapsnivå. Syftet för denna studie är att utveckla kunskaper om hur resonemang kanbidra till elevers lärande om tallinjen i en årskurs 3. Följande frågeställningar är: Vilka typerav resonemang kan identifieras i 33 elevers diskussioner om tallinjen? På vilka sätt bidrarresonemang till lärande i grupp? 33 elever deltog i studien och klassens mångkulturellavariation kan anses som låg. Bakgrunden förklarar centrala begrepp och tidigare forskningsom går i linje med studiens ämne. Detta är en kumulativ studie, som innebär att dennastudies resultat har som grund pålitlig tidigare forskning (Cronehed, 2009: 52). Resultatetvisade att arbete i grupp och användandet av resonemang hade tendenser till att utöka eleversförmåga att resonera, samt utveckla matematiska kunskaper om tal i bråkform i samband medtallinjen. Kreativt matematiskt resonemang visade större tendenser för utvecklad kunskap ände övriga resonemangen. Studiens resultat visade även att den med viss sannolikhet går attanvända inom hela matematiken som skolämne, både enskilt och i grupp. I rubriken”didaktiska implikationer” anges vad verksamma pedagoger kan ha för nytta av det resultatet idenna studie givit. Pedagoger kan använda sig av resonemang för att gynna elevers lärande igrupp. I synnerhet kreativt matematiskt resonemang, då det visade störst tendens till lärande.Pedagogerna bör även se värdet av att arbeta i grupp och vilka möjligheter det kan medföra.

Vissa elever anser matematik är svårt och tråkigt. Elever både i yngre och högre åldrar visar otillräckliga kunskaper vid inlärningen av tal i bråkform, vilket är ett mönster som fortsätter i skolorna. Syftet med studien var att ta reda på vad forskning säger om elevers svårigheter med och missuppfattningar av tal i bråkform, användningen av del av helhet och antal och hur tal i bråkform representeras. Resultaten visar att elever har svårigheter med vissa delar inom tal i bråk och uppfattningen av del av helhet. Den visar också att det finns olika representationer som gynnar eleverna. För vidare studier inom detta område föreslås djupare inriktning på vad det är som påverkar elevernas brister, vad som kan göras i tidig ålder samt hitta nya metoder, modeller och representationer som gynnar elever lärande inom matematik.

Det är åtta procent högre än för 2016 och hela 32 procent högre än 2015, då elpriset var väldigt lågt. 2017 års elpris är det högsta sedan 2013. Fortsättningsvis spår Bixia låga elpriser de kommande åren vilket beror på utbyggnaden av förnybar energi och att kärnkraftverket Olkilouto 3 i Finland tas i drift. Bixia räknar med att den nordiska elmarknaden kommer att ha en förstärkt energibalans fram till 2019. Efter år 2019 kommer energibalansen att försvagas, beroende på stängningen av Ringhals 1 och 2 och ökad export av el ut från Norden, säger Martina Rosenberg på Bixia. En försvagad energibalans innebär en högre prisnivå. Projektet syftar till att kartlägga omfattningen av energiförluster, i ett privat hushåll, till följd av transmission och därefter göra en bedömning om energibesparingsåtgärder, i form av tilläggsisolering och fönsterbyte, skulle vara en ekonomisk lönsam investering. Genom minskad energianvändning ger dessa investeringar ett positivt tillskott i energibalansen och kan även bidra till en bättre inomhusmiljö. Projektet följer en metod där kvalitativa experiment har utförts genom mätningar på klimatskärmen. Denna mätning har gjorts med hjälp av en termografikamera där bilder har detekterat otätheter i klimatskärmen, så kallade köldbryggor. Energiförluster, till följd av transmission, har sedan beräknats med handberäkningsmetoder och utförts för en rad olika storheter, exempelvis värmeledningsmotstånd och värmegenomgångskoefficienter. Utöver detta har den specifika klimatskärmen delats upp i flera sektioner respektive skikt för att strukturerade beräkningar skulle kunna utföras enligt den beräkningsgång detta projekt efterföljt. Undersökningen visar att åtgärderna bidrar till omkring 4 gånger mindre energiförluster gällande energifönster och 2 gånger mindre för väggen jämfört med värdena före åtgärder. Återbetalningstiden är dock betydligt längre för energifönstren då detta är en betydligt mer kostsam investering. För PVC-fönster landar återbetalningstiden på ca 27 år och för aluminiumbeklädda träfönster är återbetalningstiden i detta fall över 40 år mot ca 20 år för tilläggsisoleringen. It is eight percent higher than in 2016 and 32 percent higher than in 2015, when the price for the electricity was much lower. The 2017 electricity price is the highest since 2013. Continuingly, Bixia's low electricity prices predict the next few years, which is due to the expansion of renewable energy and that the Olkilouto 3 nuclear power plant are put into use in Finland. Bixia expects the Nordic electricity market to have a strengthened energy balance until 2019. After 2019, energy balance will weaken due to the closure of Ringhals 1 and 2 and increased exports of electricity from the Nordic countries, says Martina Rosenberg from Bixia. A weakened energy balance means a higher price level. The project intention is to mapping the extent of energy losses, in a private household, due to transmission and subsequently assessing energy saving measures, in the form of additional insulation and exchange of windows, would be a profitable investment. Through reduced energy consumption, these investments provide a positive boost to the energy balance and can also contribute to a better indoor environment. The project follows a method where qualitative experiments have been carried out through measurements on the climate screen. This measurement has been done by using a thermographic camera where images have detected thermal unevennesses in the climate screen that is called cold bridges. Energy losses due to transmission have then been calculated by hand calculation methods and performed for a variety of quantities, such as heat conductivity resistors and thermal coefficients. In addition, the specific climate screen has been divided into several sections and layers, so that structured calculations could be performed according to the calculation process followed by this project. The survey shows that the measures contribute to is about 4 times less energy losses on energy windows and 2 times less for the wall than the pre-measure values. However, the repayment time is significantly longer for the energy windows, as this is a significantly more costly investment. For PVC windows, the repayment period is approximately 27 years. For aluminum clad wood windows, the repayment period in this case is over 40 years to about 20 years for the additional insulation.

This qualitative study encompasses a study of pupils' perceptions about the subject of music as well as the importance and everyday importance of the subject of music for pupils outside of school. The study has a phenomenological approach based on describing the breadth and variety of perceptions of the subject of music. Qualitative semistructured interviews form an empirical basis for analysis. The result is based on concepts such as meanings, perceptions of music as a school subject and everyday life. Variations appear that a student is stimulated at school to start musicing more outside of school and that the interviewed pupils have different views about the music as a subject in school. The result also shows how the students who play any instrument during their spare time, also have parents who play music in any form. On the other hand, the results show that those who do not play any instrument in their spare time have parents who do not. Finally, the result showed that all interviewed students in some form use music in any social context, musicing with the family or just listening to music together with friends. Denna kvalitativa studie omfattar en undersökning rörande elevers uppfattningar om ämnet musik samt vilken betydelse och vardagsanknytning ämnet musik har för eleverna utanför skolan. Studien har en fenomenografisk ansats med utgångspunkt i att beskriva bredd och variation av uppfattningar om ämnet musik. Kvalitativa, semistrukturerade intervjuer utgör empiriskt underlag för analys. Resultatet redovisas utifrån begrepp som betydelser, musik som skolämne och vardag. Variationer framträder såsom att en elev stimuleras i skolan till att börja musicera mer utanför skolan och att de intervjuade eleverna har olika uppfattningar om ämnet musik. Det resultatet också visar är hur de elever som spelar något instrument på sin fritid, även har föräldrar som musicerar i någon form. Däremot så visar resultat att de elever som inte musicerar på fritiden har föräldrar som inte heller gör det. Slutligen visade resultatet att alla intervjuade eleverna i någon form använder musik i något socialt sammanhang. Det kan handla om att musicera tillsammans med familjen eller bara lyssna på musik tillsammans med kompisar.

UPPAAL is a tool for modeling, simulation and verification of real-time systems, developed jointly by BRICS at Aalborg University and the Department of Computer Systems at Uppsala University. The tool is appropriate for systems that can be modeled as a collection of non-deterministic processes with finite control structure and real-valued clocks, communicating through channels or shared variables. Typical application areas include real-time controllers and communication protocols, in particular those where timing aspects are critical. This paper reports on the currently available version and summarizes developments during the last two years. We report on new directions that extends UPPAAL with cost-optimal exploration, parametric modeling, stop-watches, probablistic modeling, hierachical modeling, executable timed automata, and a hybrid automata animator. We also report on recent work to improve the efficiency of the tool. In particular, we outline Clock Difference Diagrams (CDDs), new compact representations of states, a distributed version of the tool, and application of dynamic partitioning. UPPAAL has been applied in a number of academic and industrial case studies. We describe a selection of the recent case studies.

Today’s competitive global market has placed companies under great pressure and the focus on production systems has been more prominent. Although there are several claimed benefits with using frameworks in the development of production systems, companies are reluctant to use these. Consequently, a relevant question formulation is: Are frameworks in the development of production systems usable? The purpose with this thesis work was therefore to evaluate the usability of production system development frameworks (PSDFs) in practice. In order to achieve this purpose, two research questions were established: RQ1. How can usability of frameworks be evaluated? RQ2. How does the use of a framework contribute to the development of a new production system? In order to answer the posed research questions, Bellgran and Säfsten’s PSDF was used in the production system development (PSD) process of a new production system at Xylem. Based on the PSD process, a meta-study was performed to evaluate the practical usability of the PSDF. Usability was defined and evaluated based on the five usability terms learnability, memorability, efficiency, effectiveness, and satisfaction. The result showed that all the five usability terms contribute to the usability evaluation of PSDFs. However, memorability was considered difficult to use on only one study since the user has to think a step further and make a qualified guess to answer if it is possible to memorize a framework. Therefore, it was considered memorability is only appropriate to use in a multiple study. The results also showed that Bellgran and Säfsten’s PSDF contributed most in the beginning of the PSD process by putting emphasis on the planning phase and providing a structure to follow. Due to the nature of a framework (i.e., to serve as a guide for structures to follow), this was not unexpected. However, the contributions from a structure or plan are hard to exactly distinguish. Since companies most often want tangible and accurate evidences, frameworks’ vague contributions are considered to be a major reason to why companies do not use frameworks more frequently.

Det blir allt viktigare för verksamheter att följa trender och förändringar på den marknad som de verkar på. På den svenska bankmarknaden finns det många aspekter som aktörerna måste ta hänsyn till för att kunna nå uppsatta mål och visioner. Ett viktigt mål för en bank är att kunna skapa kundnöjdhet. Banker måste arbeta med att vårda kundrelationer för att behålla befintliga kunder samt för att skapa nya relationer. Samtidigt är banker verksamheter som måste vara lönsamma vilket leder till att banken tar strategiska beslut som inte alltid är till fördel för alla kunder. Dock måste en bank sträva efter att möta kunders behov och förväntningar för att kunna utföra ett arbete som genererar i en lönsam organisation. Hur skiljer sig bankers kundarbete med kunders bankupplevelse? Uppsatsens syfte är att beskriva hur kunder upplever sin bank med utgångspunkt i hur banker arbetar med sina kundrelationer. Uppsatsens resultat tyder på att kunders bankupplevelser till viss del stämmer överens med det bankerna vill förmedla till sina kunder. Bankerna lyckas inom vissa områden förmedla det de avser att förmedla till sina kunder. Samtidigt har banken ett problem inom andra områden med att få kundernas bankupplevelser att stämma överens med hur de vill att kunderna ska uppfatta deras arbete.

Lean Production is used by many manufacturing companies. Companies in process industries do not use Lean Production to the same extent today. This is part of the report's issue to explore how Lean Production can be applied to a company in the process industries. The investigated company is a processing company that manufactures various types of foil. The company wishes to streamline its production and has therefore asked the authors to examine if Lean Production can offer the company improvements in their production. Lean Production value stream mapping tool has been selected to identify and analyze the current state of two of its products in production. From the survey cost estimates was carried out on the basis of proposals for improving production. There were also theoretical frameworks used to examine the benefits that Lean Production can give a company in the process industries. From the results it is clear that the company in the current situation does not achieve any economic benefit of reducing their inventory costs. This is because the startup costs are greater than inventory costs. However, the authors found that a company in the process industry has much to gain from the Lean Production philosophy. The authors found some of the tools used in Lean Production difficult to implement, but the philosophy and thinking were considered to have a lot to contribute to a company in the process industry.

Denna rapport är en konsumentundersökning rörande skivförpackningar. Syftet med undersökning är att ta reda på vad konsumenter har för attityd, tankar och känslor kring olika slags skivförpackningar. Förändringar i människors köpbeteende och den ökad miljömedvetenhet i samhället gör det intressant att undersöka om detta även påverkar konsumenters syn på skivförpackningar.Undersökningen genomfördes genom att tre olika fokusgrupper träffades för att diskutera fyra olika skivförpackningar. I en öppen diskussion fick respondenterna redogöra för sina attityder, tankar och känslor kring skivförpackningar, därefter fick deltagarna svara på mer styrda frågor kring förpackningar och förpackningars miljöpåverkan. I forskningsresultaten framgår det att de flesta respondenter har en positiv attityd till Digipack, som enligt dem har de bästa produktattributen. Jewel box har kritiserats för att den inte är hållbar. Respondenterna uttrycker sig både starkt positivt och negativt om Jakebox, som upplevs som onödigt komplicerad eller kul och sexig. I grupperna ger man uttryck för en miljömedvetenhet, men att förpackning är miljövänlig tas inte upp som ett viktigt produktattribut. Hållbarhet, utseende och användarvänlighet betraktas som viktiga egenskaper hos en skivförpackning. I grupperna är man beredd att betala ett högre pris för att få skivor levererade i sina favoritförpackningar. This report is a consumer market research study about cd packaging. The purpose was to examine people’s attitudes, thoughts and feelings regarding different cd packaging solutions. The recent change in society regarding environmental awareness and the change in people’s buying behaviour makes getting consumer’s view on cd packaging relevant. The study was performed with three focus groups that discussed four different types of cd packaging solutions. The respondents expressed their attitudes, feelings and thoughts in an open discussion regarding different packaging solutions. The participants also answered more direct questions regarding cd packaging and the environmental impact of packaging. Many of the respondents expressed a positive attitude towards Digipack, which in their opinion possessed the most attractive product attributes. Jewel box was criticized for its lack of durability. Respondents expressed both a strong positive and negative attitude towards Jakebox, which some experienced as to complicated whereas others thought of it as funny and sexy. The groups expressed environmental concern but environmental impact was almost never suggested as an important product attribute. Durability, appearance and usability were regarded as the most important qualities in cd packaging. The respondents expressed a willingness to pay a higher price to get cd´s in there packaging of choice.

Vilken betydelse har Celebrity Endorsement för företagens marknadsföringsstrategi? Problemformuleringen leder fram till syftet med uppsatsen. Vi kommer nedan att dela upp syftet i tre punkter och dessa är följande, analysera hur användningen av Celebrity Endorsement fungerar i verkligheten, jämföra denna med den tidigare teori som finns inom ämnet, dra slutsatser om teorin skiljer sig från hur användandet går till i praktiken.. Genom kvalitativa intervjuer har vi samlat in primärdata om hur företag använder sig av kändisar i marknadsföringen. Sekundärdata är hämtad främst ifrån artiklar samt litteratur. Vi har sedan jämfört empirin med den teoretiska referensram vi satt upp och efter detta dragit slutsatser. Uppsatsens teoretiska underlag utgörs av den varumärkesuppbyggande processen samt teorier tagna från vetenskapliga artiklar i ämnet Celebrity Endorsement och detta för att få teori som stödjer vår problemformulering och vårt syfte. De slutsatser vi kom fram till av studien var att betydelsen av Celebrity Endorsement är väldigt stor för företagen och att kändisen måste motsvara företagens ideal. En annan slutsats vi kom fram till var att företagen inte har någon handlingsplan som minimerar riskerna med att använda sig av Celebrity Endorsement. Vi kom även fram till att företagen arbetar, till synes, omedvetet i förhållande till teorin.

Den svenska arbetsmarknaden är under förändring och blir mer individualiserad och flexibel. Lagen om anställningsskydd blir mer ifrågasatt och det finns diskussioner om att förändra denna lag. Uppsatsen behandlar vilka strategier Handelsanställdas förbund Avd 3 har för att möta individualisering och flexibilitet.Syftet med föreliggande uppsats är att med utgångspunkt i aktuella teorier om individualisering och flexibilitet, det vill säga förändringsprocesser, i arbetslivet undersöka dels hur en fackförening (Handels) upplever nämnda förändringsprocesser samt dels om och hur fackföreningens agerande påverkas av förändringsprocesserna.De teorier som ligger till grund för denna uppsats behandlar individualisering, flexibilitet samt arbetsrätt.Vi har gjort 4 stycken semistrukturerade intervjuer med fackligt aktiva medlemmar inom Handelsanställdas förbund Avd 3 i Halmstad.Resultatet är uppdelat i fyra olika teman: Facklig verksamhet, individualisering, flexibilitet samt arbetsrätt. Strategier som Handels använder sig av för att möta individualisering, går ut på att träffa ungdomar tidigt.Om ungdomar är mer individualiserade i dagens samhälle än gårdagens samhälle innebär det att Handels på sikt kan få problem. Med problemet menas att de ungdomar som väljer bort ett medlemskap utifrån ett individuellt val, kan leda till att Handels förlorar medlemsantal och därmed deras förhandlingsstyrka på arbetsmarknaden. The Swedish labour market is changing and becoming more individualized and flexible. The law on employment protection will be further challenged and there are discussions about changing this law. This essay deals with which strategies Handelsanställdas förbund Avd 3 has to accommodate individualization and flexibility.The purpose of this essay is based on current theories of individualization and flexibility, meaning, changing processes in work life and examine how a trade union (Handels) experience changes, and whether the union's behavior is affected by processes of change.The theories and previous research underlying this essay deals with theories of individualization, flexibility and labour law.We have made four semi-structured interviews with trade union officials in Halmstad.The result is divided into four themes: trade union activities, individualization, flexibility, and labour law. Handels is working on issues such as work environment, salary and work hours. Strategies Handels are using to accommodate individualization, is to communicate with young people in an early stage.If young people are more individualized in today's society than yesterday's society, Handels may in the long term have a problem. With the problem, it means that if young people will not be members on the basis of an individual choice, this may lead to Handels losing members and thus their negotiation strength in the labor market.

In this paper we present the reminiscence process in a prototype memory support tool for persons with mild dementia. The purpose is to promote autonomy for persons with mild dementia by supporting actualization and maintenance of episodic memories, and real-time access to a context-annotated life log. The main research challenges are defined with a user scenario, Suitable reminiscence methods and memory entitities to reperesent life logs are described, and a preliminary architecture is presented. Finally an early design of a concrete ReviewClient is shown, to solicit feedback on the reminiscence methods, entitites chosen, architecture and the usability of the proposed interface. There is no debate over the importance of IT security. Equally important is the research on security assessment; methods for evaluating the security of IT systems. The Swedish Defense Research Agency has for the last couple of years been conducting research on the area of security assessment. To verify the correctness of these methods, tools are implemented. This thesis presents the design and implementation of an environment to support and aid future implementations and evaluations of security assessment methods. The aim of this environment, known as the New Tool Environment, NTE, is to assist the developer by facilitating the more time consuming parts of the implementation. A large part of this thesis is devoted to the development of a database solution, which results in an object/relational data access layer.

Objective: To develop a successful user-validated cognitive prosthetic device with associated services to help persons with mild dementia.Setting: The ICT solution will be developed by a consortium of eleven institutes in eight countries in Europe. It will be tested and evaluated by users (persons with dementia and their carers) in 3 European cities - Amsterdam, Belfast and Luleå.Methods: To identify and analyse the needs of persons with dementia, workshops and interviews were conducted with Alzheimer patients suffering from mild dementia, and their carers in three European cities. A literature search was also performed to identify existing proven effective ICT solutions for persons with dementia.Results: The most important needs and the most preferred ICT solutions identified by participants were (i) Activity reminders e.g. for eating meals; (ii) Item locators; (iii) Picture dialling to keep in contact with family and friends; (iv) Support for pleasure activities; (v) Enhancement of feelings of safety. Conclusion: Based on the needs identified, a prototype solution will be built, tested and modified as an iterative process. Context. This thesis takes an opportunity perspective. Radio Frequency Identification technology (RFID) has showed potential in enhancing and optimizing supply chains. For Pan Nordic Logistics (PNL), this represents an interesting opportunity and a possibility to enhance goods flow, increase quality, and gain competitive advantage. The study. This study has looked at how RFID could benefit PNL. A number of opportunities have been identified. Of these opportunities, the ‘Hub’ in Jönköping has been analyzed in further detail. The current logistics process has been mapped out in order to determine where in the logistics process the technology could have the optimal impact. Since it is not possible to perform a full financial evaluation without benchmarking and measuring the effects of RFID, a framework have been provided for future measurement, evaluation, and implementation. Findings and recommendations. This study concludes that an RFID implementation at the ‘Hub’ in Jönköping is ‘most likely’ to be financially feasible. RFID is a promising technology that should be taken to the next level. A small-scale implementation is recommended in order to ‘try out’ the technology and to fully evaluate how it could be adapted to fit existing solutions of PNL such as computer systems. If implemented, this trial should serve to map out the financial side of the technology using the provided framework. It is currently neither possible, nor feasible to fully understand the financial impact of the technology. Such a forecast would be imprecise and possible misleading.

This thesis aims at describing the CIO role from the perspective of two interviews and the literature on the subject. Our research questions mainly focus on the actual work of a CIO and are answered by providing a framework on how to view the CIO and the influence of the CIO. Influence meaning both on business and IT strategy. We have answered what the CIO role implies and how it is used in different organizations. To do this we have scanned current literature and also conducted two interviews with CIO’s from completely different organizations and resources. A framework for understanding how the IT strategy and business strategy is linked with the CIO as a resource has been created and our interview findings are presented in this framework. We have also found that the CIO with little involvement in overall business strategy decisions has less influence on the IT strategy. This is ex-plained by the nature of the organization and the view of IT. A CIO’s primary function could be to strategically align IT with business or to make sure that the IT systems runs flawless. These can be viewed as counterpoints but since the role today is changing from being operative to working more with strategic questions it is not a strange finding. The influence a CIO has in business strategy questions ranges from none to a lot, based on how the CIO role is defined by the organization. This is also well in line with the view of IT. When viewing IT as something that has the possibility to gain competitive advantage, IT gain more credibility, hence the CIO gains more influence on business strategy decisions. We also found that the CIO not only has the overall responsibility of IT in the organization, but also that s/he is supposed to work with questions of concern to the business. This forces the CIO to have an understanding of the end-customer, which in itself creates a better understanding for the business strategy. The CIO should work with questions that not only meet the current demand of the organization they support, but also future needs and potential opportunities where IT can be of specific interest.

Begreppet kundlojalitet förknippas oftast med att ett företag har skaffat sig återköpare. En återköpare kan fås på många olika sätt. I uppsatsen behandlas fem kategorier som alla har gemensamt att de leder till just återköp från kunden. Dessa är Bytesbarriärer, Kundlojalitetsprogram, Informationssamlande om kunden, Samarbete med kunden samt Villkorslöst bemötande av kundens krav. Författaren har konstruerat en bild av hur kategorierna teoretiskt påverkar varandra. Utgångspunkten för kundlojalitet är bytesbarriärer som endast definierar återköpare. Därefter menar författaren att kundlojalitet blir en fråga om antingen belöningar för återköp eller att kunden aktivt får vara med och påverka företagens beslut. Frågan som ställs är huruvida denna uppdelning är riktig och, om så är fallet, undersöka vilka kategorier som de undersökta företagen anser leder till kundlojalitet. Empiriinsamlingen skedde genom en kvantitativ enkät som ifylldes på plats av 50 detaljhandelsföretag. Resultatet visar att detaljhandelsföretagen ser Bytesbarriärer, Kundlojalitetsprogram samt Villkorslöst bemötande som de kategorier där återköpare kan bli lojala kunder. Kategorierna Informationssamlande och Samarbete rangordnas lågt och anses därmed inte leda till kundlojalitet. Därmed visar undersökningen att företagen ser samma skillnader som författaren såg. Uppdelningen anses därför relevant. Det framkommer dessutom att detaljhandeln ser lojala kunder som något mer än bara en kund som gör återköp. Tidigare har detta beskrivits enbart med bytesbarriärer men resultatet från uppsatsen innebär att författaren kan förtydliga det till: ”Kundlojalitet innebär att kunden belönas för sina återköp och på grund av detta blir lojal mot företaget”
