Abstract

Abstract This rapid high resolution melting (HRM) assay allows distinguishing between Streptococcus suis serotype pairs 2 and 1/2 as well as 1 and 14, respectively, based on a single‐nucleotide polymorphism within capsular polysaccharide synthesis gene cluster K. This assay is easy to implement and identifies potential zoonotic serotypes.

Abstract

This rapid high resolution melting (HRM) assay allows distinguishing between Streptococcus suis serotype pairs 2 and 1/2 as well as 1 and 14, respectively, based on a single‐nucleotide polymorphism within capsular polysaccharide synthesis gene cluster K. This assay is easy to implement and identifies potential zoonotic serotypes., The designed high resolution melting assay allows to correctly differentiate Streptococcus suis serotype pair 2 and 1/2 or 1 and 14, respectively. The assay is based on a single‐nucleotide polymorphism within the capsular polysaccharide synthesis gene cluster K and enables a rapid identification of potential zoonotic serotypes.

Abstract

In [5], Maheshwari et al. introduced and studied some new separation axioms, namely, quasi semi Ti axioms where i ϵ {0, 1, 2}, the quasi semi T½ axiom was then introduced and investigated by Gyu-Ihn et al. in [2]. In the present paper we introduce and study quasi Ti axioms, i ϵ {0, ½, 1, 2#x007D; as a special variety of quasi semi Ti axioms, the class of quasi T½ (respectively, quasi T1) bitopological spaces is placed between quasi T0 (respectively, quasi T½) bitopological spaces and quasi T1 (respectively, quasi T2) bitopological spaces. Among several counter examples we introduce an example of a bitopological space which is quasi T0 that fails to be quasi semi T½ thus answering a question raised in [2]. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

This paper introduces the concept of an operation on tau_g. Using this operation, we define the concept of g-gamma-open sets, and study some of their related notions. Also, we introduce the concept of g gamma-generalized closed sets and then investigate some of its properties. Furthermore, we introduce and investigate g-gamma-T_i spaces (i in {0,1/2, 1, 2) and g-(gamma,beta)-continuous functions by utilizing the operation gamma on tau_g. Finally, some basic properties of functions with g-beta-closed graphs have been obtained.
