- Abstract
This paper presents the prospects for a precise measurement of the branching fraction of the leptonic B c + → τ
+ ντ decay at the Future Circular Collider (FCC-ee) running at the Z -pole. A detailed description of the simulation and analysis framework is provided. To select signal candidates, two Boosted Decision Tree algorithms are employed and optimised. The first stage suppresses inclusive b b ¯ , c c ¯ , and q q ¯ backgrounds using event-based topological information. A second stage utilises the properties of the hadronic τ+ → π+ π+ π− ν ¯τ decay to further suppress these backgrounds, and is also found to achieve high rejection for the B+ → τ+ ντ background. The number of B c + → τ+ ντ candidates is estimated for various Tera-Z scenarios, and the potential precision of signal yield and branching fraction measurements evaluated. The phenomenological impact of such measurements on various New Physics scenarios is also explored. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]- Published

ANGULAR distribution (Nuclear physics) ,PROTON-proton interactions ,BARYONS ,HADRON-hadron scattering - Abstract
This paper presents an analysis of the Λ b 0 → J/ψΛ angular distribution and the transverse production polarisation of Λ b 0 baryons in proton-proton collisions at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8 and 13 TeV. The measurements are performed using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.9 fb
−1 , collected with the LHCb experiment. The polarisation is determined in a fiducial region of Λ b 0 transverse momentum and pseudorapidity of 1 < pT < 20 GeV/c and 2 < η < 5, respectively. The data are consistent with Λ b 0 baryons being produced unpolarised in this region. The parity-violating asymmetry parameter of the Λ → pπ− decay is also determined from the data and its value is found to be consistent with a recent measurement by the BES III collaboration. STANDARD model (Nuclear physics) ,ANGULAR measurements ,FLAVOR ,PHYSICS - Abstract
Semileptonic decays of b- to c-hadrons provide an exciting environment to probe new physics and currently present some of the most compelling anomalies in the field of flavor physics. Measurements of the lepton flavor universality ratios R (D *) , comparing branching fractions with τ and μ leptons, show a discrepancy of over 3σ with respect to the Standard Model, and suggest that the coupling to τ leptons is stronger than predicted. Measurements of angular distributions as well as polarization in b- to c-hadron decays provide additional sensitivity to new physics. This review article offers an overview of the theory of semileptonic b- to c-hadron decays, presents the experiments and experimental techniques used to perform measurements of these decays, and summarizes the latest experimental results with their implications. Since its discovery in the 1960s, the violation of CP symmetry has intrigued scientists and stimulated the advancement of knowledge in particle physics. Numerous experiments were designed and built to study it in increasingly deeper detail. Nowadays, the phenomenon is well framed within the Standard Model of Particle Physics. Nevertheless, new results are being produced by modern experiments at colliders that challenge the current understanding of the model. In this article, the current status of CP violation studies and the role of CP violation in the search for effects beyond the Standard Model are described together with the prospects for ongoing and future experiments. In this paper we revisit the idea of measuring the magnetic dipole moments of the charm baryons and, in particular, of Λ by studying the spin precession induced by the strong effective magnetic field inside the channels of a bent crystal. We present a detailed sensitivity study showing the feasibility of such an experiment at the LHC in the coming years. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

We evaluate the potential of the DUNE near detector (DUNEND) for establishing bounds for heavy neutral leptons (HNLs). This is achieved by studying how the presence of HNLs affects the production rates of active neutrinos, therefore creating a deficit in the neutrino charged current (CC) events at the LArTPC of the DUNEND. The estimated bounds on HNLs are calculated for masses between 1 eV and 500 MeV. We consider 10 years of operation (five in neutrino and antineutrino modes) and obtain limits of |υ
μ4 |2 < 9 χ 10-3 (4 χ 10-2 ) and \Ue4 \2 < 7 χ 10-3 (3 χ 10-2 ) for masses below 10 MeV and a 5% (20%) overall normalization uncertainty in the neutrino charged current event rate prediction. These limits, within the region of masses below 2 (10) MeV, are better than those that can be achieved by DUNE direct searches for the case of a 5% (20%) uncertainty. When a conservative 20% uncertainty is present, our limits can only improve current constraints on |Ue4 12 by up to a factor of 3 in a small region of approximately 5 eV and set limits on |υμ4 |2 in a mass region free of constraints (40 eV-1 MeV). Despite the obvious progress made by the Feynman, Ravndal, and Kislinger relativistic model in describing the internal motion of a system with confinement of quarks in a nucleon, it turned out to be insufficiently realistic for a number of reasons. In particular, the model does not take into account some cornerstone properties of QCD, namely, gluon exchange between quarks, the influence of the resulting quark sea on valence quarks, and the self-interaction of colored gluons. It is these phenomena that spontaneously break the chiral symmetry of the quark system and form the bulk of the nucleon. To eliminate the above shortcomings of the model, the problem of self-organization of a three-quark dynamical system immersed in a colored quark–antiquark sea is considered within the framework of complex probabilistic processes that satisfy the stochastic differential equation of the Langevin–Kline–Gordon–Fock type. Taking into account the hidden symmetry of the internal motion of a dynamical system, a mathematically closed nonperturbative approach was developed, which makes it possible to construct the mathematical expectation of the wave function and other parameters of the nucleon in the form of multiple integral representations. It is shown that additional subspaces arising in a representation characterized by a noncommutative geometry with topological features participate in the formation of an effective interaction between valence quarks against the background of harmonic interaction between them. This article reviews the most recent measurements of B (s) 0 → μ
+ μ− decay properties at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) which are the most precise to date. The measurements of the branching fraction and effective lifetime of the B s 0 → μ+ μ− decay by the ATLAS, CMS, and LHCb collaborations, as well as the search for B 0 → μ+ μ− decays, are summarized with a focus on the experimental challenges. Furthermore, prospects are given for these measurements and new observables that become accessible with the foreseen amounts of data by the end of the LHC. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]- Published

The rare decay Bs→μ+μ− provides an important constraint on possible deviations from the Standard Model in b-s-ℓ-ℓ interactions. The present weighted average of its branching ratio measurements amounts to (3.34±0.27)×10−9, which remains in good agreement with the theoretical prediction of (3.64±0.12)×10−9 within the Standard Model. In the present paper, we review calculations that have contributed to this prediction and discuss the associated uncertainties.

Behind succeeding measurements of anomalies in semileptonic decays at LHCb and several collider experiments hinting at the possible violation of lepton flavor universality, we undertake a concise review of theoretical foundations of the tree- and loop-level b-hadron decays, b → c l ν l and b → s l + l − along with experimental environments. We revisit the world averages for R D (D *) , R K (K *) , R J / ψ , and R η c , for the semileptonic transitions and provide results within the framework of the relativistic independent quark model in addition to the results from model-independent studies. If the ongoing evaluation of the data of LHC Run 2 confirms the measurements of Run 1, then the statistical significance of the effect in each decay channel is likely to reach 5 σ. A confirmation of these measurements would soon turn out to be the first remarkable observation of physics beyond the Standard Model, providing a wider outlook on the understanding of new physics. Abstract This paper presents the prospects for a precise measurement of the branching fraction of the leptonic B c + $$ {B}_c^{+} $$ → τ + ν τ decay at the Future Circular Collider (FCC-ee) running at the Z -pole. A detailed description of the simulation and analysis framework is provided. To select signal candidates, two Boosted Decision Tree algorithms are employed and optimised. The first stage suppresses inclusive b b ¯ $$ b\overline{b} $$ , c c ¯ $$ c\overline{c} $$ , and q q ¯ $$ q\overline{q} $$ backgrounds using event-based topological information. A second stage utilises the properties of the hadronic τ + → π + π + π − ν ¯ $$ \overline{\nu} $$ τ decay to further suppress these backgrounds, and is also found to achieve high rejection for the B + → τ + ν τ background. The number of B c + $$ {B}_c^{+} $$ → τ + ν τ candidates is estimated for various Tera-Z scenarios, and the potential precision of signal yield and branching fraction measurements evaluated. The phenomenological impact of such measurements on various New Physics scenarios is also explored.

A very likely New Physics in plain sight, but that the community does not see, is a second Higgs doublet that has a second set of Yukawa couplings. The extra tt and tc couplings can each drive baryogenesis, with O(1) Higgs quartic couplings providing a first order electroweak phase transition. A natural cancellation mechanism can tame electron EDM, if extra ee, tt couplings "know" the known fermion mass and mixing hierarchies. Colliding c with g produces tH/A, bH + via extra tc coupling, and together with extra tt coupling give ttc(bar), ttt(bar), and btb(bar) signatures at the LHC. Extra tu coupling can also be probed, but more definitive would be the B to μ ν and τ ν decay rate ratio. Myriad extra Yukawa couplings can make an impact on flavor physics and CP violation, including on muon g-2. The opening to the prelude of a new physics Higgs and flavor era may unfold before us. Electroweak baryogenesis can be driven by the top quark in a general two Higgs doublet model with extra Yukawa couplings. Higgs quartics provide the first order phase transition, while extra top Yukawa coupling ρ t t can fuel the cosmic baryon asymmetry through the λ t Im ρ t t product, with flavor-changing ρ t c coupling as backup. The impressive ACME 2018 bound on the electron electric dipole moment calls for an extra electron coupling ρ e e for exquisite cancellation among dangerous diagrams, broadening the baryogenesis solution space. The mechanism suggests that extra Yukawa couplings echo the hierarchical structure of standard Yukawa couplings. Phenomenological consequences in the Higgs search and flavor physics are discussed, with μ and τ EDM touched upon. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract This paper presents an analysis of the Λ b 0 $$ {\Lambda}_b^0 $$ → J/ψΛ angular distribution and the transverse production polarisation of Λ b 0 $$ {\Lambda}_b^0 $$ baryons in proton-proton collisions at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8 and 13 TeV. The measurements are performed using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.9 fb −1, collected with the LHCb experiment. The polarisation is determined in a fiducial region of Λ b 0 $$ {\Lambda}_b^0 $$ transverse momentum and pseudorapidity of 1 < p T < 20 GeV/c and 2 < η < 5, respectively. The data are consistent with Λ b 0 $$ {\Lambda}_b^0 $$ baryons being produced unpolarised in this region. The parity-violating asymmetry parameter of the Λ → pπ − decay is also determined from the data and its value is found to be consistent with a recent measurement by the BES III collaboration.

- Abstract
A search for the doubly charmed baryon Ξ cc + is performed in the Ξ c + π − π + invariant-mass spectrum, where the Ξ c + baryon is reconstructed in the pK
− π+ final state. The study uses proton-proton collision data collected with the LHCb detector at a centre- of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 5.4 fb−1 . No significant signal is observed in the invariant-mass range of 3.4–3.8 GeV/c2 . Upper limits are set on the ratio of branching fractions multiplied by the production cross-section with respect to the Ξ cc + + → ( Ξ c + → pK− π+ )π+ decay for different Ξ cc + mass and lifetime hypotheses in the rapidity range from 2.0 to 4.5 and the transverse momentum range from 2.5 to 25 GeV/c. The results from this search are combined with a previously published search for the Ξ cc + → Λ c + K− π+ decay mode, yielding a maximum local significance of 4.0 standard deviations around the mass of 3620 MeV/c2 , including systematic uncertainties. Taking into account the look-elsewhere effect in the 3.5–3.7 GeV/c2 mass window, the combined global significance is 2.9 standard deviations including systematic uncertainties. An angular analysis of the rare decay B s 0 → ϕμ
+ μ− is presented, using proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8 and 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 8.4 fb−1 . The observables describing the angular distributions of the decay B s 0 → ϕμ+ μ− are determined in regions of q2 , the square of the dimuon invariant mass. The results are consistent with Standard Model predictions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]- Published

This paper describes the work pursued in the years 2008–2013 on improving the Standard Model prediction of selected flavor-physics observables. The latter includes: (1) [Formula: see text], that quantifies indirect CP violation in the [Formula: see text] system and (2) the very rare decay [Formula: see text], recently measured at the LHC. Concerning point (1), the paper describes our reappraisal of the long-distance contributions to [Formula: see text],[Formula: see text] that have permitted to unveil a potential tension between CP violation in the [Formula: see text]- and [Formula: see text]-system. Concerning point (2), the paper gives a detailed account of various systematic effects pointed out in Ref. 4 and affecting the Standard Model [Formula: see text] decay rate at the level of 10% — hence large enough to be potentially misinterpreted as nonstandard physics, if not properly included. The paper further describes the multifaceted importance of the [Formula: see text] decays as new physics probes, for instance how they compare with [Formula: see text]-peak observables at LEP, following the effective-theory approach of Ref. 5. Both cases (1) and (2) offer clear examples in which the pursuit of precision in Standard Model predictions offered potential avenues to discovery. Finally, this paper describes the impact of the above results on the literature, and what is the further progress to be expected on these and related observables.

In the presence of non-standard neutrino interactions (NSI), a degeneracy exists in neutrino oscillation data, which involves the flipping of the octant of the mixing angle θ
12 and the type of the neutrino mass ordering. In this article, we revisit the status of this degeneracy in the light of recent data on coherent elastic neutrino-nucleus scattering (CEνNS) from the COHERENT experiment. For general relative couplings to up and down quarks, the degeneracy is disfavoured at the 2σ level by the latest data but remains at a higher confidence level. We investigate the requirements of future CEνNS measurements to resolve the degeneracy with high significance. We find that a measurement involving both, electron and muon neutrino flavours and a target with a neutron-to-proton ratio close to 1 is required. We present measurements of the branching fractions for the decays B → Kμ
+ μ− and B → Ke+ e− , and their ratio (RK ), using a data sample of 711 fb−1 that contains 772 × 106 B B ¯ events. The data were collected at the ϒ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+ e− collider. The ratio RK is measured in five bins of dilepton invariant-mass-squared (q2 ): q2 ∈ (0.1, 4.0), (4.00, 8.12), (1.0, 6.0), (10.2, 12.8) and (> 14.18) GeV2 /c4 , along with the whole q2 region. The RK value for q2 ∈ (1.0, 6.0) GeV2 /c4 is 1.03 − 0.24 + 0.28 ± 0.01. The first and second uncertainties listed are statistical and systematic, respectively. All results for RK are consistent with Standard Model predictions. We also measure CP-averaged isospin asymmetries in the same q2 bins. The results are consistent with a null asymmetry, with the largest difference of 2.6 standard deviations occurring for the q2 ∈ (1.0, 6.0) GeV2 /c4 bin in the mode with muon final states. The measured differential branching fractions, d ℬ /dq2 , are consistent with theoretical predictions for charged B decays, while the corresponding values are below the expectations for neutral B decays. We have also searched for lepton-flavor-violating B → Kμ± e∓ decays and set 90% confidence-level upper limits on the branching fraction in the range of 10−8 for B+ → K+ μ± e∓ , and B0 → K0 μ± e∓ modes. The time-dependent CP asymmetries of B
0 → π+ π− and B s 0 → K+ K− decays are measured using a data sample of pp collisions corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.9 fb−1 , collected with the LHCb detector at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. The results are C ππ = − 0.311 ± 0.045 ± 0.015 , S ππ = − 0.706 ± 0.042 ± 0.013 , C KK = 0.123 ± 0.034 ± 0.015 , S KK = 0.164 ± 0.034 ± 0.014 , A KK Δ Γ = − 0.83 ± 0.05 ± 0.09 , where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. The same data sample is used to measure the time-integrated CP asymmetries of B0 → K + π− and B s 0→ K− π+ decays and the results are A CP B 0 = − 0.0824 ± 0.0033 ± 0.0033 , A CP B s 0 = 0.236 ± 0.013 ± 0.011. - Abstract
A measurement of CP-violating observables is performed using the decays B
± → DK± and B± → Dπ± , where the D meson is reconstructed in one of the self-conjugate three-body final states K S 0 π+ π− and K S 0 K+ K− (commonly denoted K S 0 h+ h− ). The decays are analysed in bins of the D-decay phase space, leading to a measurement that is independent of the modelling of the D-decay amplitude. The observables are inter- preted in terms of the CKM angle γ. Using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb−1 collected in proton-proton collisions at centre-of mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV with the LHCb experiment, γ is measured to be 68.7 − 5.1 + 5.2 ° . The hadronic parameters r B DK , r B Dπ , δ B DK , and δ B Dπ , which are the ratios and strong-phase differences of the suppressed and favoured B± decays, are also reported. - Abstract
Models incorporating flavoured dark matter provide an elegant solution to the dark matter problem, evading the tight LHC and direct direction constraints on simple WIMP models. In Dark Minimal Flavour Violation, a simple framework of flavoured dark matter with new sources of flavour violation, the constraints from thermal freeze-out, direct detection experiments, and flavour physics create well-defined benchmark scenarios for these models. We study the LHC phenomenology of four such scenarios, focusing on final states where a single top quark is produced accompanied by no jets, one jet from the fragmentation of light quarks or a b-tagged jet. For each of these signatures we develop a realistic LHC analysis, and we show that the proposed analyses would increase the parameter space coverage for the four benchmarks, compared to existing flavour-conserving LHC analyses. Finally we show the projected discovery potential of the considered signatures for the full LHC statistics at 14 TeV, and for the High Luminosity LHC. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
The shape of the B s 0 → D s ∗ − μ + ν μ differential decay rate is obtained as a function of the hadron recoil parameter using proton-proton collision data at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.7 fb
−1 collected by the LHCb detector. The B s 0 → D s ∗ − μ + ν μ decay is reconstructed through the decays D s ∗ − → D s − γ and D s − → K − K + π − . The differential decay rate is fitted with the Caprini-Lellouch-Neubert (CLN) and Boyd-Grinstein-Lebed (BGL) parametrisations of the form factors, and the relevant quantities for both are extracted. - Abstract
A measurement of four branching-fraction ratios for three-body decays of B mesons involving two open-charm hadrons in the final state is presented. Run 1 and Run 2 pp collision data are used, recorded by the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies 7, 8, and 13 TeV and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb
−1 . The measured branching-fraction ratios are B B + → D ∗ + D − K + B B + → D ¯ 0 D 0 K + = 0.517 ± 0.015 ± 0.013 ± 0.011 , B B + → D ∗ − D + K + B B + → D ¯ 0 D 0 K + = 0.577 ± 0.016 ± 0.013 ± 0.013 , B B 0 → D ∗ − D 0 K + B B 0 → D − D 0 K + = 1.754 ± 0.028 ± 0.016 ± 0.035 , B B + → D ∗ + D − K + B B + → D ∗ − D + K + = 0.907 ± 0.033 ± 0.014 ,where the first of the uncertainties is statistical, the second systematic, and the third is due to the uncertainties on the D-meson branching fractions. These are the most accurate measurements of these ratios to date. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A search is presented for the lepton flavour violating decay B
+ → K+ μ− τ+ using a sample of proton-proton collisions at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV, collected with the LHCb detector and corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fb−1 . The τ leptons are selected inclusively, primarily via decays with a single charged particle. The four-momentum of the τ lepton is determined by using B+ mesons from B s 2 ∗ 0 → B + K − decays. No significant excess is observed, and an upper limit is set on the branching fraction ℬ(B+ → K+ μ− τ+ ) < 3.9 × 10−5 at 90 % confidence level. The obtained limit is comparable to the world-best limit. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]- Published

Measurements of CP observables in B
± → DK± and B± → Dπ± decays are presented, where D represents a superposition of D0 and D ¯ 0 states. The D meson is reconstructed in the three-body final states K S 0 K ± π ∓ and K S 0 K ∓ π ± . The analysis uses samples of B mesons produced in proton-proton collisions, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0, 2.0, and 6.0 fb−1 collected with the LHCb detector at centre-of-mass energies of s = 7, 8, and 13 TeV, respectively. The role of W -exchange diagrams in baryonic B decays is poorly understood, and often taken as insignificant and neglected. We show that charmful two-body baryonic B → B c B ¯ ′ decays provide a good test-bed for the study of the W -exchange topology, whose contribution is found to be non-negligible; here B
c is an anti-triplet or a sextet charmed baryon, and B ¯ ′ an octet charmless (anti-)baryon. In particular, we calculate that ℬ B ¯ 0 → Σ c + p ¯ = 2.9 − 0.9 + 0.8 × 10 − 6 in good agreement with the experimental upper bound. Its cousin B ¯ s 0 mode, B ¯ s 0 → Λ c + p ¯ , is a purely W -exchange decay, hence is naturally suited for the study of the role of the W -exchange topology. We predict ℬ B ¯ s 0 → Λ c + p ¯ = 0.8 ± 0.3 × 10 − 6 , a relatively large branching ratio to be tested with a future measurement by the LHCb collaboration. Other predictions, such as ℬ B ¯ 0 → Ξ c + Σ ¯ − = 1.1 ± 0.4 × 10 − 5 , can be tested with future Belle II measurements. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]- Published

PARTICLE physics ,PARTICLE decays - Abstract
New Physics can manifest itself in kinematic distributions of particle decays. The parameter space defining the shape of such distributions can be large which is chalenging for both theoretical and experimental studies. Using clustering algorithms, the parameter space can however be dissected into subsets (clusters) which correspond to similar kinematic distributions. Clusters can then be represented by benchmark points, which allow for less involved studies and a concise presentation of the results. We demonstrate this concept using the Python package ClusterKinG, an easy to use framework for the clustering of distributions that particularly aims to make these techniques more accessible in a High Energy Physics context. As an example we consider B ¯ → D ∗ τ − ν ¯ τ distributions and discuss various clustering methods and possible implications for future experimental analyses. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
We study the two-body anti-triplet charmed baryon decays based on the diagrammatic approach with SU(3) flavor symmetry. We extract the two W -exchange effects as E
B and E' that contribute to the Λ c + → Ξ 0 K + decay, together with the relative phases, where EB gives the main contribution. Besides, we find that B Λ c + → p π 0 = 0.8 − 0.8 + 0.9 × 10 − 4 ,which is within the experimental upper bound. Particularly, we obtain B Ξ c + → Ξ 0 π + = 9.3 ± 3.6 × 10 − 3 , B Ξ c 0 → Ξ − π + Λ 0 K ¯ 0 = 19.3 ± 2.8 8.3 ± 5.0 × 10 − 2 and B Ξ c 0 → Ξ − K + = 5.6 ± 0.8 × 10 − 4 , which all agree with the data. For the singly Cabibbo suppressed Λ c + decays, we predict that B Λ c + → n π + pη ' Σ + K 0 = 7.7 ± 2.0 7.1 ± 1.4 19.1 ± 4.8 × 10 − 4 , which are accessible to the experiments at BESIII, BELLEII and LHCb. - Abstract
We employ a bottom-up and model-independent technique to search for non-Abelian discrete flavour symmetries capable of predicting viable CKM and PMNS matrices alongside of special patterns of leptoquark couplings. In particular, we analyze patterns de- rived when an ultra-violet flavour theory is assumed to break to global Abelian symmetries in Standard Model fermion masses and new Yukawa-like terms sourced by the leptoquark representation. The phenomenology of different classes of these ‘simplified models’ can be explored without reference to explicit model-building assumptions, e.g. the nature of flavour symmetry breaking or any additional field content associated to it, and are also capable of explaining hints of lepton non-universality in R K ∗ . Assuming experimentally interesting CKM and PMNS matrix elements, our algorithm finds an abundance of predictive non-Abelian flavour groups and therefore provides promising directions for future model building in the flavoured leptoquark space, regardless of whether the anomalous R K ∗ measurements withstand further experimental scrutiny. Abstract In this paper we revisit the idea of measuring the magnetic dipole moments of the charm baryons and, in particular, of Λ c + by studying the spin precession induced by the strong effective magnetic field inside the channels of a bent crystal. We present a detailed sensitivity study showing the feasibility of such an experiment at the LHC in the coming years.

This paper presents the prospects for a precise measurement of the branching fraction of the leptonic B c + $$ {B}_c^{+} $$ → τ + ν τ decay at the Future Circular Collider (FCC-ee) running at the Z -pole.

Using 1.63 fb
-1 of integrated luminosity collected by the KLOE experiment about 7 × 104 KS → π± e∓ ν decays have been reconstructed. The measured value of the charge asymmetry for this decay is AS = (-4.9 ± 5.7stat ± 2.6syst ) × 10-3 , which is almost twice more precise than the previous KLOE result. The combination of these two measurements gives AS = (-3.8 ± 5.0stat ± 2.6syst ) × 10-3 and, together with the asymmetry of the KL semileptonic decay, provides significant tests of the CPT symmetry. The obtained results are in agreement with CPT invariance. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]- Published
