In this paper, we look for signatures of quantum revivals in two-dimensional conformal field theories (2d CFTs) on a spatially compact manifold by using operator entanglement. It is believed that thermalization does not occur on spatially compact manifolds as the quantum state returns to its initial state which is a phenomenon known as quantum revival. We find that in CFTs such as the free fermion CFT, the operator mutual information exhibits quantum revival in accordance with the relativistic propagation of quasiparticles while in holographic CFTs, the operator mutual information does not exhibit this revival and the quasiparticle picture breaks down. Furthermore, by computing the tripartite operator mutual information, we find that the information scrambling ability of holographic CFTs can be weakened by the finite size effect. We propose a modification of an effective model known as the line tension picture to explain the entanglement dynamics due to the strong scrambling effect and find a close relationship between this model and the wormhole (Einstein-Rosen Bridge) in the holographic bulk dual. Recently, Li and Yamazaki proposed a new class of infinite-dimensional algebras, quiver Yangian, which generalizes the affine Yangian gl 1. The characteristic feature of the algebra is the action on BPS states for non-compact toric Calabi-Yau threefolds, which are in one-to-one correspondence with the crystal melting models. These algebras can be bootstrapped from the action on the crystals and have various truncations. In this paper, we propose a q-deformed version of the quiver Yangian, referred to as the quiver quantum toroidal algebra (QQTA). We examine some of the consistency conditions of the algebra. In particular, we show that QQTA is a Hopf superalgebra with a formal super coproduct, like known quantum toroidal algebras. QQTA contains an extra central charge C. When it is trivial (C = 1), QQTA has a representation acting on the three-dimensional crystals, like Li-Yamazaki’s quiver Yangian. While we focus on the toric Calabi-Yau threefolds without compact 4-cycles, our analysis can likely be generalized to all toric Calabi-Yau threefolds. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

We continue to develop Bootstrability — a method merging Integrability and Conformal Bootstrap to extract CFT data in integrable conformal gauge theories such as N = 4 SYM. In this paper, we consider the 1D defect CFT defined on a 1 2 -BPS Wilson line in the theory, whose non-perturbative spectrum is governed by the Quantum Spectral Curve (QSC). In addition, we use that the deformed setup of a cusped Wilson line is also controlled by the QSC. In terms of the defect CFT, this translates into two nontrivial relations connecting integrated 4-point correlators to cusp spectral data, such as the Bremsstrahlung and Curvature functions — known analytically from the QSC. Combining these new constraints and the spectrum of the 10 lowest-lying states with the Numerical Conformal Bootstrap, we obtain very sharp rigorous numerical bounds for the structure constant of the first non-protected state, giving this observable with seven digits precision for the 't Hooft coupling in the intermediate coupling region λ 4 π ~ 1 , with the error decreasing quickly at large 't Hooft coupling. Furthermore, for the same structure constant we obtain a 4-loop analytic result at weak coupling. We also present results for excited states. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Higher genus modular invariance of two-dimensional conformal field theories (CFTs) is a largely unexplored area. In this paper, we derive explicit expressions for the higher genus partition functions of a specific class of CFTs: code CFTs, which are constructed using classical error-correcting codes. In this setting, the Sp(2g, ℤ) modular transformations of genus g Riemann surfaces can be recast as a simple set of linear maps acting on 2g polynomial variables, which comprise an object called the code enumerator polynomial. The CFT partition function is directly related to the enumerator polynomial, meaning that solutions of the linear constraints from modular invariance immediately give a set of seemingly consistent partition functions at a given genus. We then find that higher genus constraints, plus consistency under degeneration limits of the Riemann surface, greatly reduces the number of possible code CFTs. In this paper we study in detail the deformations introduced in [1] of the integrable structures of the AdS2,3 integrable models. We do this by embedding the corresponding scattering matrices into the most general solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation. We show that there are several non-trivial embeddings and corresponding deformations. We work out crossing symmetry for these models and study their symmetry algebras and representations. In particular, we identify a new elliptic deformation of the AdS3× S3× M4 string sigma model. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Irrelevant operators in a CFT modify the usual Weyl transformation of the metric. A metric beta-function turns on, which modifies the Weyl anomalies as well. In this paper, we study the relation between bulk diffeomorphisms and Weyl transformation at the boundary when a massive scalar field, which sources irrelevant operators at the boundary, is coupled to the bulk metric. Considering the effect of the backreaction generated by the scalar field, we provide a holographic description of the boundary metric beta-function and anomalies. In this first of two papers, we explain in detail the simplest example of a broader set of relations between apparently very different theories. Our example relates su 2 N = 4 super Yang-Mills (SYM) to a theory we call "(3, 2)". This latter theory is an exactly marginal diagonal SU(2) gauging of three D3(SU(2)) Argyres-Douglas (AD) theories. We begin by observing that the Schur indices of these two theories are related by an algebraic transformation that is surprisingly reminiscent of index transformations describing spontaneous symmetry breaking on the Higgs branch. However, this transformation breaks half the supersymmetry of the SYM theory as well as its full N = 2 SU(2)F flavor symmetry. Moreover, it does so in an interesting way when viewed through the lens of the corresponding 2D vertex operator algebras (VOAs): affine currents of the small N = 4 super-Virasoro algebra at c = −9 get mapped to the A 6 stress tensor and some of its conformal descendants, while the extra supersymmetry currents on the N = 4 side get mapped to higher-dimensional fermionic currents and their descendants on the A 6 side. We prove these relations are facets of an exact graded vector space isomorphism (GVSI) between these two VOAs. This GVSI respects the U(1)r charge of the parent 4D theories. We briefly sketch how more general su N N = 4 SYM theories are related to an infinite class of AD theories via generalizations of our example. In this paper we revisit the construction of supersymmetric Schwarzians using nonlinear realizations. We show that N = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 supersymmetric Schwarzians can be systematically obtained as certain projections of Maurer-Cartan forms of superconformal groups after imposing simple conditions on them. We also present the supersymmetric Schwarzian actions defined as the integrals of products of Cartan forms. In contrast with the previous attempts to obtain the super-Schwarzians within nonlinear realizations technique, our set of constraints does not impose any restriction on the super-Schwarzians. In this paper, we study the fine structure of entanglement in holographic two-dimensional boundary conformal field theories (BCFT) in terms of the spatially resolved quasilocal extension of entanglement entropy — entanglement contour. We find that the boundary induces discontinuities in the contour revealing hidden localization-delocalization patterns of the entanglement degrees of freedom. Moreover, we observe the formation of “islands” where the entanglement contour vanishes identically implying that these regions do not contribute to the entanglement at all. We argue that these phenomena are the manifestation of the entanglement islands recently discussed in the literature. We apply the entanglement contour proposal to the recently discussed BCFT black hole models reproducing the Page curve — moving mirror model and the pair of BCFT in the thermofield double state. From the viewpoint of entanglement contour, the Page curve also carries the imprint of strong delocalization caused by dynamical entanglement islands. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Conformal field theory (CFT) dispersion relations reconstruct correlators in terms of their double discontinuity. When applied to the crossing equation, such dispersive transforms lead to sum rules that suppress the double-twist sector of the spectrum and enjoy positivity properties at large twist. In this paper, we construct dispersive CFT functionals for correlators of unequal scalar operators in position- and Mellin-space. We then evaluate these functionals in the Regge limit to construct mixed correlator holographic CFT functionals which probe scalar particle scattering in Anti-de Sitter spacetime. Finally, we test properties of these dispersive sum rules when applied to the 3D Ising model, and we use truncated sum rules to find approximate solutions to the crossing equation. Quantum corrections to holographic entanglement entropy require knowledge of the bulk quantum state. In this paper, we derive a novel dual prescription for the generalized entropy that allows us to interpret the leading quantum corrections in a geometric way with minimal input from the bulk state. The equivalence is proven using tools borrowed from convex optimization. The new prescription does not involve bulk surfaces but instead uses a generalized notion of a flow, which allows for possible sources or sinks in the bulk geometry. In its discrete version, our prescription can alternatively be interpreted in terms of a set of Planck-thickness bit threads, which can be either classical or quantum. This interpretation uncovers an aspect of the generalized entropy that admits a neat information-theoretic description, namely, the fact that the quantum corrections can be cast in terms of entanglement distillation of the bulk state. We also prove some general properties of our prescription, including nesting and a quantum version of the max multiflow theorem. These properties are used to verify that our proposal respects known inequalities that a von Neumann entropy must satisfy, including subadditivity and strong subadditivity, as well as to investigate the fate of the holographic monogamy. Finally, using the Iyer-Wald formalism we show that for cases with a local modular Hamiltonian there is always a canonical solution to the program that exploits the property of bulk locality. Combining with previous results by Swingle and Van Raamsdonk, we show that the con- sistency of this special solution requires the semi-classical Einstein's equations to hold for any consistent perturbative bulk quantum state. Crossing symmetry (CS) is the main tool in the bootstrap program applied to CFT. This consists in an equality which imposes restrictions on the CFT data of a model, i.e., the OPE coefficients and the conformal dimensions. Reflection positivity (RP) has also played a role in this program, since this condition is what leads to the unitary bound and reality of the OPE coefficients. In this paper, we show that RP can still reveal more information, explaining how RP itself can capture an important part of the restrictions imposed by the full CS equality. In order to do that, we use a connection used by us in a previous work between RP and positive definiteness of a function of a single variable. This allows us to write constraints on the OPE coefficients in a concise way. These constraints are encoded in the conditions that certain functions of the cross-ratio will be positive defined and in particular completely monotonic. We will consider how the bounding of scalar conformal dimensions and OPE coefficients arise in this RP based approach. We will illustrate the conceptual and practical value of this view trough examples of general CFT models in d-dimensions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper we derive Ward-Takahashi identities from the path integral of supersymmetric five-dimensional field theories with an SU(1, 3) spacetime symmetry in the presence of instantons. We explicitly show how SU(1, 3) is enhanced to SU(1, 3) × U(1) where the additional U(1) acts non-perturbatively. Solutions to such Ward-Takahashi identities were previously obtained from correlators of six-dimensional Lorentzian conformal field theories but where the instanton number was replaced by the momentum along a null direction. Here we study the reverse procedure whereby we construct correlation functions out of towers of five-dimensional operators which satisfy the Ward-Takahashi identities of a six-dimensional conformal field theory. This paves the way to computing observables in six dimensions using five-dimensional path integral techniques. We also argue that, once the instanton sector is included into the path integral, the coupling of the five-dimensional Lagrangian must be quantised, leaving no free continuous parameters. We analyze the commutation relations of light-ray operators in conformal field theories. We first establish the algebra of light-ray operators built out of higher spin currents in free CFTs and find explicit expressions for the corresponding structure constants. The resulting algebras are remarkably similar to the generalized Zamolodchikov's W∞ algebra in a two-dimensional conformal field theory. We then compute the commutator of generalized energy flow operators in a generic, interacting CFTs in d > 2. We show that it receives contribution from the energy flow operator itself, as well as from the light-ray operators built out of scalar primary operators of dimension ∆ ≤ d − 2, that are present in the OPE of two stress-energy tensors. Commutators of light-ray operators considered in the present paper lead to CFT sum rules which generalize the superconvergence relations and naturally connect to the dispersive sum rules, both of which have been studied recently. In this paper, we consider the computation of charged moments of the reduced density matrix of two disjoint intervals in the 1+1 dimensional free compactified boson conformal field theory (CFT) by studying the four-point function of the fluxed twist fields. We obtained the exact scaling function of this four-point function and discussed its decompactification limit. This scaling function was used to obtain the charged moments of the partial transpose which we refer as charged Rényi negativity. These charged moments and the charged moments of the partial transpose are essential for the problem of symmetry decomposition of the corresponding entanglement measures. We test our analytic formula against exact numerical computation in the complex harmonic chain, finding perfect agreements. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper, we introduce a new set of modular-invariant phase factors for orbifolds with trivially-acting subgroups, analogous to discrete torsion and generalizing quantum symmetries. After describing their basic properties, we generalize decomposition to include orbifolds with these new phase factors, making a precise proposal for how such orbifolds are equivalent to disjoint unions of other orbifolds without trivially-acting subgroups or one-form symmetries, which we check in numerous examples. Consistency with position space OPE limit requires three-point momentum space CFT correlators to have only total energy singularity. We show that this requirement gives a simple proof of the known result that in three dimensions the parity-odd structure cannot exist for three-point correlators of exactly conserved currents with spins si, sj, sk, when triangle inequality si ≤ sj + sk is violated. We also show that even for parity even correlation functions the properties are different inside and outside the triangle. It was previously shown that if we allow for weakly broken higher spin symmetry, parity-odd correlators can exist even when triangle inequality is violated. In this paper we establish a relation between non-conservation Ward-Takahashi (WT) identities for weakly broken currents at large N and the WT identities for exactly conserved currents with the help of a few examples. This allows us to calculate the parity violating results outside the triangle using parity-even free bosonic and free fermionic results. In general, there is one parity-odd structure and two parity-even structures for three-point functions. It can be shown that the coefficient of one of the parity-even and odd parts can be combined into a complex parameter c when correlators are expressed in spinor-helicity variables. When this complex parameter takes real value c = ±1 it corresponds to either the free boson or free fermion theory. When c is a pure phase, it corresponds to Chern-Simons matter theories. Furthermore, re-expressing known results for conformal collider bounds we see that |c| ≤ 1 for generic 3d CFTs and |c| ≤ f(∆gap) for holographic CFTs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper, we analyze the constraints imposed by unitarity and crossing symmetry on conformal theories in large dimensions. In particular, we show that in a unitary conformal theory in large dimension D, the four-point function of identical scalar operators ϕ with scaling dimension ∆ϕ such that ∆ϕ/D < 3/4, is necessarily that of the generalized free field theory. This result follows only from crossing symmetry and unitarity. In particular, we do not impose the existence of a conserved spin two operator (stress tensor). We also present an argument to extend the applicability of this result to a larger range of conformal dimensions, namely to ∆ϕ/D < 1. This extension requires some reasonable assumptions about the spectrum of light operators. Together, these results suggest that if there is a non-trivial conformal theory in large dimensions, not necessarily having a stress tensor, then its relevant operators must be exponentially weakly coupled with the rest. Recently, the reflected entropy is proposed in holographic approach to describe the entanglement of a bipartite quantum system in a mixed state, which is identified as the area of the reflected minimal surface inside the entanglement wedge. In this paper, we study the reflected entropy in the doubly holographic setup, which contains the degrees of freedom of quantum matter in the bulk. In this context, we propose a notion of quantum entanglement wedge cross-section, which may describe the reflected entropy with higher-order quantum corrections. We numerically compute the reflected entropy in pure AdS background and black hole background in four dimensions, respectively. In general, the reflected entropy contains the contribution from the geometry on the brane and the contribution from the CFT. We compute their proportion for different Newton constants and find that their behaviors are in agreement with the results based on the semi-classical gravity and the correlation of CFT coupled to the bath CFT. The eigenvalues of the Laplace-Beltrami operator and the integrals of products of eigenfunctions must satisfy certain consistency conditions on compact Riemannian manifolds. These consistency conditions are derived by using spectral decompositions to write quadruple overlap integrals in terms of products of triple overlap integrals in multiple ways. In this paper, we show how these consistency conditions imply bounds on the Laplacian eigenvalues and triple overlap integrals of closed hyperbolic manifolds, in analogy to the conformal bootstrap bounds on conformal field theories. We find an upper bound on the gap between two consecutive nonzero eigenvalues of the Laplace-Beltrami operator in terms of the smaller eigenvalue, an upper bound on the smallest eigenvalue of the rough Laplacian on symmetric, transverse-traceless, rank-2 tensors, and bounds on integrals of products of eigenfunctions and eigentensors. Our strongest bounds involve numerically solving semidefinite programs and are presented as exclusion plots. We also prove the analytic bound λi+1 ≤ 1/2 + 3λi + λ i 2 + 2 λ i + 1 / 4 for consecutive nonzero eigenvalues of the Laplace-Beltrami operator on closed orientable hyperbolic surfaces. We give examples of genus-2 surfaces that nearly saturate some of these bounds. We introduce a new class of operators in any theory with a 't Hooft large-N limit that we call colour-twist operators. They are defined by twisting the colour-trace with a global symmetry transformation and are continuously linked to standard, untwisted single-trace operators. In particular, correlation functions between operators that are twisted by an R-symmetry of N = 4 SYM extend those in the γ-deformed theory. The most general deformation also breaks the Lorentz symmetry but preserves integrability in the examples we consider. In this paper, we focus on colour-twist operators in the fishnet model. We exemplify our approach for the simplest colour-twist operators with one and two scalar fields, which we study non-perturbatively using field-theoretical as well as integrability methods, finding a perfect match. We also propose the quantisation condition for the Baxter equation appearing in the integrability calculation in the fishnet model. The results of this paper constitute a crucial step towards building the separation of variable construction for the correlation functions by means of the Quantum Spectral Curve approach. The "bootstrap determination" of the geometrical correlation functions in the two-dimensional Potts model proposed in a paper by Picco et al. [1] was later shown in [2] to be incorrect, the actual spectrum of the model being considerably more complex than initially conjectured. We provide in this paper a geometrical interpretation of the four- point functions built in [1], and explain why the results obtained by these authors, albeit incorrect, appeared so close to those of their numerical simulations of the Potts model. Our strategy is based on a cluster expansion of correlation functions in RSOS minimal models, and a subsequent numerical and algebraic analysis of the corresponding s-channel spectrum, in full analogy with our early work on the Potts model [2]. Remarkable properties of the lattice amplitudes are uncovered, which explain in particular the truncation of the spectrum of [2] to the much simpler one of the RSOS models, and which will be used in a forthcoming paper to finally determine the geometrical four-point functions of the Potts model itself. Quenched disorder is very important but notoriously hard. In 1979, Parisi and Sourlas proposed an interesting and powerful conjecture about the infrared fixed points with random field type of disorder: such fixed points should possess an unusual supersymmetry, by which they reduce in two less spatial dimensions to usual non-supersymmetric non- disordered fixed points. This conjecture however is known to fail in some simple cases, but there is no consensus on why this happens. In this paper we give new non-perturbative arguments for dimensional reduction. We recast the problem in the language of Conformal Field Theory (CFT). We then exhibit a map of operators and correlation functions from Parisi-Sourlas supersymmetric CFT in d dimensions to a (d − 2)-dimensional ordinary CFT. The reduced theory is local, i.e. it has a local conserved stress tensor operator. As required by reduction, we show a perfect match between superconformal blocks and the usual conformal blocks in two dimensions lower. This also leads to a new relation between conformal blocks across dimensions. This paper concerns the second half of the Parisi-Sourlas conjecture, while the first half (existence of a supersymmetric fixed point) will be examined in a companion work. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this follow up paper, we calculate higher point tree level graviton Witten diagrams in AdS4 via bulk perturbation theory. We show that by rearranging the bulk to bulk graviton propagators, the calculations effectively reduce to the computation of a scalar factor. Analogous to the amplitudes for vector boson interactions we computed in the previous paper, scalar factors for the graviton exchange diagrams also become relatively simple when written in momentum space. We explicitly calculate higher point correlators and discuss how this momentum space formalism makes flat space and collinear limits simpler. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

We continue the analysis of modular invariant functions, subject to inhomogeneous Laplace eigenvalue equations, that were determined in terms of Poincaré series in a companion paper. The source term of the Laplace equation is a product of (derivatives of) two non-holomorphic Eisenstein series whence the modular invariants are assigned depth two. These modular invariant functions can sometimes be expressed in terms of single-valued iterated integrals of holomorphic Eisenstein series as they appear in generating series of modular graph forms. We show that the set of iterated integrals of Eisenstein series has to be extended to include also iterated integrals of holomorphic cusp forms to find expressions for all modular invariant functions of depth two. The coefficients of these cusp forms are identified as ratios of their L-values inside and outside the critical strip. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

We derive new Poincaré-series representations for infinite families of non-holomorphic modular invariant functions that include modular graph forms as they appear in the low-energy expansion of closed-string scattering amplitudes at genus one. The Poincaré series are constructed from iterated integrals over single holomorphic Eisenstein series and their complex conjugates, decorated by suitable combinations of zeta values. We evaluate the Poincaré sums over these iterated Eisenstein integrals of depth one and deduce new representations for all modular graph forms built from iterated Eisenstein integrals at depth two. In a companion paper, some of the Poincaré sums over depth-one integrals going beyond modular graph forms will be described in terms of iterated integrals over holomorphic cusp forms and their L-values. Asymptotic symmetry plays an important role in determining physical observables of a theory. Recently, in the context of four dimensional asymptotically flat pure gravity and N = 1 supergravity, it has been proposed that OPEs of appropriate celestial amplitudes can be used to find their asymptotic symmetries. In this paper we find the asymptotic symmetry algebras of four dimensional Einstein-Yang-Mills and Einstein-Maxwell theories using this alternative approach, namely using the OPEs of their respective celestial amplitudes. The boundary correlation functions for a Quantum Field Theory (QFT) in an Anti-de Sitter (AdS) background can stay conformally covariant even if the bulk theory undergoes a renormalization group (RG) flow. Studying such correlation functions with the numerical conformal bootstrap leads to non-perturbative constraints that must hold along the entire flow. In this paper we carry out this analysis for the sine-Gordon RG flows in AdS2, which start with a free (compact) scalar in the UV and end with well-known massive integrable theories that saturate many S-matrix bootstrap bounds. We numerically analyze the correlation functions of both breathers and kinks and provide a detailed comparison with perturbation theory near the UV fixed point. Our bounds are often saturated to one or two orders in perturbation theory, as well as in the flat-space limit, but not necessarily in between. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper we relate the parity-odd part of two and three point correlation functions in theories with exactly conserved or weakly broken higher spin symmetries to the parity-even part which can be computed from free theories. We also comment on higher point functions. The well known connection of CFT correlation functions with de-Sitter amplitudes in one higher dimension implies a relation between parity-even and parity-odd amplitudes calculated using non-minimal interactions such as W 3 and W 2 W ˜ . The goal of this paper is to characterize a class of almost Kenmotsu manifolds admitting *-conformal Ricci solitons. It is shown that if a (2n + 1)-dimensional (k, µ)'- almost Kenmotsu manifold M admits *-conformal Ricci soliton, then the manifold M is *-Ricci flat and locally isometric to Hn+1(-4) × Rn. The goal of this paper is to study conformal Yamabe soliton and *-Yamabe soliton, whose potential vector field is torse forming. Here, we have characterized conformal Yamabe soliton admitting potential vector field as torse forming with respect to Riemannian connection, semi-symmetric metric connection and projective semi-symmetric connection on Riemannian manifold. We have also shown the nature of *-Yamabe soliton with torse forming vector field on Riemannian manifold admitting Riemannian connection. In this paper we consider a conformal invariant chain of L sites in the unitary irreducible representations of the group SO(1, 5). The k-th site of the chain is defined by a scaling dimension ∆k and spin numbers ℓ k 2 , ℓ k 2 The model with open and fixed boundaries is shown to be integrable at the quantum level and its spectrum and eigenfunctions are obtained by separation of variables. The transfer matrices of the chain are graph-builder operators for the spinning and inhomogeneous generalization of squared-lattice “fishnet” integrals on the disk. As such, their eigenfunctions are used to diagonalize the mirror channel of the Feynman diagrams of Fishnet conformal field theories. The separated variables are interpreted as momentum and bound-state index of the mirror excitations of the lattice: particles with SO(4) internal symmetry that scatter according to an integrable factorized S -matrix in (1 + 1) dimensions [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In the modular linear differential equation (MLDE) approach to classifying rational conformal field theories (RCFTs) both the MLDE and the RCFT are identified by a pair of non-negative integers [n,l]. n is the number of characters of the RCFT as well as the order of the MLDE that the characters solve and l, the Wronskian index, is associated to the structure of the zeroes of the Wronskian of the characters. In this paper, we study [3,0] and [3,2] MLDEs in order to classify the corresponding CFTs. We reduce the problem to a “finite” problem: to classify CFTs with central charge 0 < c ≤ 96, we need to perform 6, 720 computations for the former and 20, 160 for the latter. Each computation involves (i) first finding a simultaneous solution to a pair of Diophantine equations and (ii) computing Fourier coefficients to a high order and checking for positivity. In the [3,0] case, for 0 < c ≤ 96, we obtain many character-like solutions: two infinite classes and a discrete set of 303. After accounting for various categories of known solutions, including Virasoro minimal models, WZW CFTs, Franc-Mason vertex operator algebras and Gaberdiel-Hampapura-Mukhi novel coset CFTs, we seem to have seven hitherto unknown character-like solutions which could potentially give new CFTs. We also classify [3,2] CFTs for 0 < c ≤ 96: each CFT in this case is obtained by adjoining a constant character to a [2,0] CFT, whose classification was achieved by Mathur-Mukhi-Sen three decades ago. In a recent paper, here referred to as part I, we considered the celestial four-gluon amplitude with one gluon represented by the shadow transform of the corresponding primary field operator. This correlator is ill-defined because it contains branch points related to the presence of conformal blocks with complex spin. In this work, we adopt a procedure similar to minimal models and construct a single-valued completion of the shadow correlator, in the limit when the shadow is “soft.” By following the approach of Dotsenko and Fateev, we obtain an integral representation of such a single-valued correlator. This allows inverting the shadow transform and constructing a single-valued celestial four-gluon amplitude. This amplitude is drastically different from the original Mellin amplitude. It is defined over the entire complex plane and has correct crossing symmetry, OPE and bootstrap properties. It agrees with all known OPEs of celestial gluon operators. The conformal block spectrum consists of primary fields with dimensions ∆ = m + iλ, with integer m ≥ 1 and various, but always integer spin, in all group representations contained in the product of two adjoint representations. It is known that the (a, c) central charges in four-dimensional CFTs are linear combinations of the three independent OPE coefficients of the stress-tensor three-point function. In this paper, we adopt the holographic approach using AdS gravity as an effect field theory and consider higher-order corrections up to and including the cubic Riemann tensor invariants. We derive the holographic central charges and OPE coefficients and show that they are invariant under the metric field redefinition. We further discover a hidden relation among the OPE coefficients that two of them can be expressed in terms of the third using differential operators, which are the unit radial vector and the Laplacian of a four-dimensional hyperbolic space whose radial variable is an appropriate length parameter that is invariant under the field redefinition. Furthermore, we prove that the consequential relation c = 1/3ℓeff∂a/∂ℓeff and its higher-dimensional generalization are valid for massless AdS gravity constructed from the most general Riemann tensor invariants. Given the recent geometrical classification of 6d (1, 0) SCFTs, a major question is how to compute for this large class their elliptic genera. The latter encode the refined BPS spectrum of the SCFTs, which determines geometric invariants of the associated elliptic non-compact Calabi-Yau threefolds. In this paper we establish for all 6d (1, 0) SCFTs in the atomic classification blowup equations that fix these elliptic genera to large extent. The latter fall into two types: the unity and the vanishing blowup equations. For almost all rank one theories, we find unity blowup equations which determine the elliptic genera completely. We develop several techniques to compute elliptic genera and BPS invariants from the blowup equations, including a recursion formula with respect to the number of strings, a Weyl orbit expansion, a refined BPS expansion and an ϵ1, ϵ2 expansion. For higher-rank theories, we propose a gluing rule to obtain all their blowup equations based on those of rank one theories. For example, we explicitly give the elliptic blowup equations for the three higher-rank non-Higgsable clusters, ADE chain of −2 curves and conformal matter theories. We also give the toric construction for many elliptic non-compact Calabi- Yau threefolds which engineer 6d (1, 0) SCFTs with various matter representations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper we consider systems of quantum particles in the 4d Euclidean space which enjoy conformal symmetry. The algebraic relations for conformal-invariant combinations of positions and momenta are used to construct a solution of the Yang-Baxter equation in the unitary irreducibile representations of the principal series ∆ = 2 + iν for any left/right spins ℓ, ℓ ̇ of the particles. Such relations are interpreted in the language of Feynman diagrams as integral star-triangle identites between propagators of a conformal field theory. We prove the quantum integrability of a spin chain whose k-th site hosts a particle in the representation (∆k, ℓk, ℓ ̇ k) of the conformal group, realizing a spinning and inhomogeneous version of the quantum magnet used to describe the spectrum of the bi-scalar Fishnet theories [1]. For the special choice of particles in the scalar (1, 0, 0) and fermionic (3/2, 1, 0) representation the transfer matrices of the model are Bethe-Salpeter kernels for the double-scaling limit of specific two-point correlators in the γ-deformed N = 4 and N = 2 supersymmetric theories. We construct a three-parameter family of non-extremal microstate geometries, or "microstrata", that are dual to states and deformations of the D1-D5 CFT. These families are non-extremal analogues of superstrata. We find these microstrata by using a Q-ball-inspired Ansatz that reduces the equations of motion to solving for eleven functions of one variable. We then solve this system both perturbatively and numerically and the results match extremely well. We find that the solutions have normal mode frequencies that depend upon the amplitudes of the excitations. We also show that, at higher order in perturbations, some of the solutions, having started with normalizable modes, develop a "non-normalizable" part, suggesting that the microstrata represent states in a perturbed form of the D1-D5 CFT. This paper is intended as a "Proof of Concept" for the Q-ball-inspired approach, and we will describe how it opens the way to many interesting follow-up calculations both in supergravity and in the dual holographic field theory. We study some aspects of a class of non-AdS holography where the 3D bulk gravity is given by generalized minimal massive gravity (GMMG). We consider the spacelike warped A d S 3 ( W A d S 3 ) black hole solution of this model where the 2d dual boundary theory is the warped conformal field theory (WFCT). The charge algebra of the isometries in the bulk and the charge algebra of the vacuum symmetries at the boundary are compatible and this is an evidence for the duality conjecture. Further evidence for this duality is the equality of entanglement entropy and modular Hamiltonian on both sides of the duality. So we consider the modular Hamiltonian for the single interval at the boundary in associated to the modular flow generators of the vacuum. We calculate the gravitational charge in associated to the asymptotic Killing vectors that preserve the metric boundary conditions. Assuming the first law of the entanglement entropy to be true, we introduce the matching conditions between the variables in two side of the duality and we find equality of the modular Hamiltonian variations and the gravitational charge variations in two sides of the duality. According to the results of the present paper we can say with more sure that the dual theory of the warped AdS3 black hole solution of GMMG is a Warped CFT. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

We study SU(2) Chern-Simons theories at level k coupled to a scalar on T2 × ℝ at large baryon number. We find a homogeneous but anisotropic ground state configuration for any values of k on the IR fixed-point of those models. This classical analysis is valid as long as we take the baryon number large. As a corollary, by comparing the symmetry breaking pattern at large chemical potential, we find that the theory does not reduce to the singlet sector of the O(4) Wilson-Fisher fixed-point at large-k, as expected from general grounds. This paper will be one primitive step towards quantitative analysis of Chern-Simons-matter dualities using the large charge expansion. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

We study how coarse-graining procedure of an underlying UV-complete quantum gravity gives rise to a connected geometry. It has been shown, quantum entanglement plays a key role in the emergence of such a geometric structure, namely a smooth Einstein-Rosen bridge. In this paper, we explore the possibility of the emergence of similar geometric structure from classical correlation, in the AdS/CFT setup. To this end, we consider a setup where we have two decoupled CFT Hilbert spaces, then choose a random typical state in one of the Hilbert spaces and the same state in the other. The total state in the fine-grained picture is of course a tensor product state, but averaging over the states sharing the same random coefficients creates a geometric connection for simple probes. Then, the apparent spatial wormhole causes a factorization puzzle. We argue that there is a spatial analog of half-wormholes, which resolves the puzzle in the similar way as the spacetime half-wormholes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The construction of conformal blocks for the analysis of multipoint correlation functions with N > 4 local field insertions is an important open problem in higher dimensional conformal field theory. This is the first in a series of papers in which we address this challenge, following and extending our short announcement in [1]. According to Dolan and Osborn, conformal blocks can be determined from the set of differential eigenvalue equations that they satisfy. We construct a complete set of commuting differential operators that characterize multipoint conformal blocks for any number N of points in any dimension and for any choice of OPE channel through the relation with Gaudin integrable models we uncovered in [1]. In this paper, we study the general form of three-point functions of conserved current multiplets Sα(k) = S(α1...αk) of arbitrary rank in four-dimensional N = 1 superconformal theory. We find that the correlation function of three such operators S ¯ α ̇ k z 1 S β k + l z 2 S ¯ γ ̇ l z 3 is fixed by the superconformal symmetry up to a single complex coefficient though the precise form of the correlator depends on the values of k and l. In addition, we present the general structure of mixed correlators of the form S ¯ α ̇ k z 1 S α k z 2 L z 3 and S ¯ α ̇ k z 1 S α k z 2 J γ γ ̇ z 3 , where L is the flavour current multiplet and J γ γ ̇ is the supercurrent. We examine a strong/weak duality between a Heisenberg coset of a theory with sl n subregular W -algebra symmetry and a theory with a sl n|1-structure. In a previous work, two of the current authors provided a path integral derivation of correlator correspondences for a series of generalized Fateev-Zamolodchikov-Zamolodchikov (FZZ-)duality. In this paper, we derive correlator correspondences in a similar way but for a different series of generalized duality. This work is a part of the project to realize the duality of corner vertex operator algebras proposed by Gaiotto and Rapčák and partly proven by Linshaw and one of us in terms of two dimensional conformal field theory. We also examine another type of duality involving an additional pair of fermions, which is a natural generalization of the fermionic FZZ-duality. The generalization should be important since a principal W -superalgebra appears as its symmetry and the properties of the superalgebra are less understood than bosonic counterparts. In this paper, we construct a single Lagrangian for both limits of Galilean electrodynamics. The framework relies on a covariant formalism used in describing Galilean geometry. We write down the Galilean conformal algebra and its representation in this formalism. We also show that the Lagrangian is invariant under the Galilean conformal algebra in d = 4 and calculate the energy-momentum tensor. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper, we investigate the partition functions of conformal field theories (CFTs) with the T T ¯ deformation on a torus in terms of the perturbative QFT approach. In Lagrangian path integral formalism, the first- and second-order deformations to the partition functions of 2D free bosons, free Dirac fermions, and free Majorana fermions on a torus are obtained. The corresponding Lagrangian counterterms in these theories are also discussed. The first two orders of the deformed partition functions and the first-order vacuum expectation value (VEV) of the first quantum KdV charge obtained by the perturbative QFT approach are consistent with results obtained by the Hamiltonian formalism in literature. In this paper we use the spinor-helicity formalism to calculate 3-point functions involving scalar operators and spin-s conserved currents in general 3d CFTs. In spinor-helicity variables we notice that the parity-even and the parity-odd parts of a correlator are related. Upon converting spinor-helicity answers to momentum space, we show that correlators involving spin-s currents can be expressed in terms of some simple conformally invariant conserved structures. This in particular allows us to understand and separate out contact terms systematically, especially for the parity-odd case. This paper provides a holographic approach to compute some most-frequently used quantum distances and quasi-distances in strongly coupling systems and conformal field theories. By choosing modular ground state as the reference state, it finds that the trace distance, Fubini-Study distance, Bures distance and Rényi relative entropy, all have gravity duals. Their gravity duals have two equivalent descriptions: one is given by the integration of the area of a cosmic brane, the other one is given by the Euclidian on-shell action of dual theory and the area of the cosmic brane. It then applies these duals into the 2-dimensional conformal field theory as examples and finds the results match with the computations of field theory exactly. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
