Doktora Tezi, Bu araştırmanın amacı, Filistin'de öğrenim gören ilkokul 4. sınıf Arapça dersi öğretim programının PIRLS standartlarını ne düzeyde karşıladığını incelemektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2021-2022 eğitim-öğretim yılında Filistin'de yer alan Gazze Şeridi valiliklerindeki devlet okullarındaki dördüncü sınıflarda derse giren Arapça öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemi ise bu öğretmenler arasından rastgele seçilen 248 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Betimsel tarama modelinin kullanıldığı araştırmada öğretmenlerin görüşlerini belirlemek için PIRLS standartları doğrultusunda ölçek hazırlanmıştır. Arapça ders kitabının içeriğine PIRLS standartlarının ne ölçüde dahil edildiği konusunda öğretmenlerin bakış açısını tespit edebilmek için PIRLS standartlarına dayalı bir ölçek hazırlanmıştır. Ölçek maddeleri, PIRLS Arapça Dil İçeriği Standart Listesi maddelerinden alınmıştır. Ölçeğin hazırlanmasında program geliştirme uzmanlarından ve alan uzmanlarından yardım alınmıştır. Araştırmacı, uzmanlara danıştıktan sonra dört ana başlık altında sınıflandırılan 64 PIRLS standardı olduğu sonucuna varmıştır. Bunlar; açık bir şekilde ifade edilmiş bilgi ve fikirlerin üzerinde durma ve çıkarımlar yapma, doğrudan çıkarımlar yapma, fikir ve bilgileri birleştirme ve yorumlama ve metnin ögelerini, içeriğini ve dilini inceleme ve değerlendirme başlıklarından oluşmaktadır. Dört boyuttan oluşan bu ölçek öğretmenlere uygulanmadan önce bakanlıktan gerekli izinler alınmış ve ölçek öğretmenlere elektronik bir ortam aracılığıyla gönderilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler istatistiksel analiz paket programıyla analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizi için Pearson korelasyon katsayısı, Spearman-Brown korelasyon katsayısı ve Cronbach's Alpha korelasyon katsayısından yararlanılmıştır. Verilerin analiziyle elde edilen bulgulara bakıldığında; dördüncü sınıf düzeyinde okutulan Arapça dil kitabının PIRLS standartlarına uygunluğunun öğretmenlerce yüksek düzeyde bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Alan bazında bakıldığında ise; dördüncü alanın (metnin ögelerini, içeriğini ve dilini inceleme ve değerlendirme) PIRLS 2021 standartlarına göre yüksek düzeyde, birinci alanın (açık bir şekilde ifade edilmiş bilgi ve fikirlerin üzerinde durma ve çıkarımlar yapma) ise IEA tarafından belirlenen yüzdeye yakın olduğu saptanmıştır. İkinci alanın (doğrudan çıkarımlar yapma) ve üçüncü alanın (fikir ve bilgileri birleştirme ve yorumlama) ise belirlenen standarttan düşük olduğu belirlenmiştir. Dördüncü sınıf Arapça dersine giren öğretmenlerin bakış açılarından ise; öğretmenlerin dördüncü sınıf Arapça ders programını birinci ve ikinci boyutlarda PIRLS standartlarına göre orta düzeyde yeterli gördükleri, üçüncü ve dördüncü boyutlarda ise yetersiz gördükleri söylenebilir. Alanyazın ışığında tartışılan sonuçların ardından son olarak araştırmacı diğer araştırmacılara ve politika yapıcılara yönelik öneriler sunmuştur. Çalışmanın daha sonra yapılacak çalışmalara yol göstereceğine inanılmaktadır., The study aims to find out the extent to which the Arabic language curriculum for the fourth grade of primary school in Palestine has PIRLS standards. The study population consists of Arabic language teachers for the fourth grade at schools in the governorates of the Gaza Strip in Palestine in the scholastic year 2021-2022. The study sample consisted of 248 teachers who were randomly selected. The researcher used the descriptive method. Two tools were prepared for the first measurement to analyze the Arabic language curriculum for the fourth grade in terms of the PIRLS standards. The second tool is by knowing the opinions of Arabic language teachers about the extent to which the Arabic language textbook include the PIRLS standards. The sub-indicators for the main areas of the PIRLS standards were built by looking at relevant research and taking the opinions of experts in curriculum development, education supervisors, university professors, and teachers of the required stage. After consulting the experts, the researcher concluded that there are 64 PIRLS standards classified under four main headings. These consist of retrieving information, drawing direct conclusions in the text, interpreting and integrating ideas and information, and evaluating and criticizing text elements and content. Before applying this scale, which consists of four dimensions, upon teachers. The necessary permits were obtained from the Ministry and the scale was sent to teachers via e-mail by the Ministry of Education. The obtained data were analyzed using spss software. Pearson's correlation coefficient, Spearman-Brown correlation coefficient and Cronbach's alpha correlation coefficient were used to analyze the data. The following results were obtained; The Arabic textbook taught in Grade 4 has been met with PIRLS standards at a high level by teachers. The fourth domain (examination and evaluation of elements, content and language of the text) got a high level according to PIRLS 2021 standards, and the first domain (focus on information and its retrieval process) was close to the percentage set by the International Agency (IEA). It was decided that the second domain (reaching direct conclusions in the text) and the third domain (interpreting and integrating ideas and information) got less than the specified standard. From the point of view of teachers of the Arabic language for the fourth basic grade; It can be said that teachers consider the fourth-grade Arabic curriculum in Dimensions 1 and 2 as moderate and appropriate according to PIRLS standards and insufficient in Dimensions 3 and 4. Finally, after discussing the results, the present researcher recommended a set of suggestions to researchers and curriculum designers. The study is expected to be a pathway to other related studies.

In this study, the perceptions of international students who were learning Turkish through distance education regarding Turkish language course and language skills were examined. The research was designed in accordance with the phenomenology pattern. The study group of the research consisted of 27 international students who received Turkish preparatory education at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University. To collect the data of the study, the students were asked to create a metaphor for the Turkish language course and language skills and to write the reason for this metaphor. The data of the research were collected electronically. The form created for this purpose was transferred to electronic media via Google Forms and sent to the e-mail addresses of the students. As the result of the study, it was seen that the metaphors created by international students about Turkish language course were gathered in six categories. Two of these categories consisted of positive and four of them were negative metaphors. When the students' metaphors for language skills were examined; three of the five categories created for reading skill were positive and two were negative; three of the four categories for writing skill were positive and one was negative; three of the four categories for listening skill were positive and one was negative. It was also determined that four of the five categories created for speaking skill consisted of positive metaphors and one of them consisted of negative metaphors.

Araştırmanın amacı, ortaokul Türkçe ders kitaplarında metin türü olarak kullanılan çizgi romanları tema, karakter nitelikleri, hangi metin türünün çizgi romana dönüştürüldüğü ve etkinlikler gibi değişkenler açısından incelemek ve çizgi romanlara ait etkinliklerin hangi dil becerilerini geliştirdiğini tespit etmektir. Çalışma, doküman analizi kullanılarak desenlenmiş, araştırmacılar tarafından incelenecek Türkçe ders kitaplarının hâlihazırda kullanılıyor olmasına dikkat edilmiş ve incelenen ders kitaplarının sınıf ayrımı yapılmaksızın tamamında çizgi roman türüne rastlanmıştır. Çizgi romanların büyük çoğunluğunun “Millî Kültürümüz” ile “Bilim ve Teknoloji” temalarında bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Çizgi romanlarda bulunan kahramanların ise aydın ve ideal olarak betimlendiği saptanmıştır. Okuma metni olarak yer alan çizgi romanlara yönelik etkinliklerde geliştirilmesi en fazla hedeflenen becerinin okuma becerisi olduğu saptanmıştır. Çizgi romanların etkinlikleri incelendiğinde dinleme becerisine ait etkinliğin olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Konuşma becerisinin yanı sıra anlatmaya dayanan bir dil becerisi olan yazma becerisinin de özellikle 6. sınıflarda geliştirilmesi hedeflenmektedir. Sonuç olarak yapılan araştırmada, Türkçe ders kitaplarında yer alan çizgi romanların büyük çoğunluğunun iki temada yer aldığı ve bahsi geçen çizgi romanların etkinliklerinin geçiş sıklığı açısından sırasıyla okuma, konuşma ve yazma becerilerini geliştirmeye yönelik tasarlandığı görülmektedir. Araştırma kapsamında elde edilen bulgulardan yola çıkılarak Türkçe derslerinde eğitici ve nitelikli çizgi romanlara, tüm dil becerilerinin geliştirilmesi sürecinde bir metin türü olarak yer verilmesi, bunun için de bir öğretim materyali olarak uzmanlarca hazırlanmış nitelikli çizgi romanların kullanılması gerekmektedir., The aim of the research is to examine the comics used as a text type in secondary school Turkish textbooks in terms of variables such as themes, character qualities, transformed genres and activities, and to determine which basic language skills the activities of comics develop. The study was designed using document analysis, attention was paid to the fact that the Turkish textbooks to be examined by the researchers were already being used, and comics were found in all of the textbooks examined, regardless of class. It was determined that the majority of the comics are on the themes of "Our National Culture" and "Science and Technology". It has been determined that the heroes in the comics are depicted as intellectuals and ideals. It was seen that the heroes in the comics are depicted as intellectuals and ideals. In addition, it has been observed that almost all of the examined comics are reading texts. It has been determined that the skill that is aimed to be developed the most in the activities for the comics, which are included as reading texts, is the reading skill. When the activities of the comics were examined, it was determined that there was no activity related to the listening skill. In addition to speaking skill, it is aimed to develop writing skill, which is a language skill based on narrative, especially in 6th grades. As a result, in the research conducted, it is seen that the majority of the comics in Turkish textbooks take place in two themes and the activities of the mentioned comics are designed to improve reading, speaking and writing skills, respectively, in terms of frequency of transition. Based on the findings obtained within the scope of the research, it is necessary to include educational and qualified comics in Turkish lessons as a type of text in the development of all language skills, and for this, qualified comics prepared by experts should be used as a teaching material.

Bu araştırma Iğdır ili sınırları içerisinde öğrenim gören ve ana dili Türkçe olmayan iki dili ortaokul öğrencilerinin Türkiye öğrenimlerinin dört temel dil becerisi ve dil bilgisi bağlamında öğrenci görüşlerinden yola çık olarak incelenmesi ve değerlendirilmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden tarama modeli ile yapılmıştır. Verileri toplamak için uzman görüşü alınarak hazırlanan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler içerik analizi yöntemi ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma yapılabilmesi için Nevşehir Hacıbektaş Veli Üniversitesi Etik Kurulundan ve Iğdır İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğünden gerekli izinler alınmıştır. Iğdır ili içerisindeki üç farklı okulda eğitim- öğretime devam eden 150 öğrenci ile görüşme yapılmıştır. Öğrenciler 15 sorudan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formundaki sorulara cevap vermişlerdir. Elde edilen görüşlerin ardından tema ve bölümler belirlenmiştir. Veriler yazıya geçirilirken öğrencilerin görüşlerinden doğrudan alıntılar yapılmıştır. Görüş bildiren öğrencilerin her birine ''Ö'' kodu verilmiş. Öğrenciler ''Ö1, Ö2,Ö3,Ö4...'' şeklinde sıralanmıştır. Bulgular tablolaştırılıp yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin birçoğunun iki dilli olduğu ve bu iki dilin birbiriyle her konuda iç içe geçmiş halde olduğu görülmüştür. Evlerinde Kürtçe ve Türkçenin beraber konuşulduğunu söyleyen öğrenciler fazladır. Ana dilleri Kürtçe olan öğrencilerin hemen hemen hepsinin çoğunlukla Türkçe konuştukları görülmüştür. Toplumsal hayatta Türkçenin hâkim dil olması, öğrencilerin sıklıkla Türkçe konuşmalarının hem nedeni hem sonucudur. Kürtçenin genellikle ev ve aile dili, Türkçenin ise bir okul ve kamusal alan dili olduğu görülmüştür. Öğrencilerin iki dillilerin yaptığı gibi çeşitli dil yanlışları, kod değiştirmeleri, olumlu ve olumsuz aktarımlar yaptıkları tespit edilmiştir. This research was carried out in order to examine and evaluate the Turkish Language Learning of secondary school students whose mother tongue is not Turkish and who study in the province of Iğdır, based on student opinions in the context of four basic language skills and grammar. The research was conducted with the scanning model, one of the qualitative research methods. A semi-structured interview form prepared by taking expert opinion was used to collect the data.The obtained data were analyzed by content analysis method. Necessary permissions were obtained from Nevşehir Hacıbektaş Veli University Ethics Committee and Iğdır Provincial Directorate of National Education in order to conduct the research. Interviews were conducted with 150 students who currently study in three different secondary schools in the province of Iğdır. The students answered the questions in the semi-structured interview form consisting of 15 questions. After the opinions obtained, themes and sections were determined. While the data was being written down, direct quotations were made from the students' opinions. Each of the students who expressed their opinions was given the "Ö" code. Students are listed as "Ö1, Ö2, Ö3, Ö4...". The findings were put into the related charts and then interpreted. As a result of the research, it was seen that most of the students were bilingual and these two languages were intertwined with each other in every subject. There are many students who say that Kurdish and Turkish are spoken simultaneously at home. It has been observed that almost all of the students whose mother tongue is Kurdish mostly speak Turkish.Moreover,it has been seen that Kurdish is the language generally spoken at home and among family members, while Turkish is mainly spoken at school and in public. The fact that Turkish is the dominant language in social life is both a cause and a result derieving students' using Turkish most. and pu. It was determined that the students made various language errors, code switchings, positive and negative transfers, as bilinguals do.

This study aims to examine the role of the Flipped Classroom Model (FCM) in the development of the basic language skills of 4th grade students in Turkish language lesson. In this respect, in the 4th grade Turkish language lesson in which the FCM was used, the views of fourth-grade students, their teachers, and parents related to the circumstances and process occurred during the implementation of the FCM in improving the basic language skills of students were investigated. The study was designed in the action research. The study was conducted with thirteen activities in the fourth grade Turkish language lesson and lasted nine weeks and 45 course hours. Data were collected from observations, interviews, documents, action plans, learning materials and validation committee meeting decisions. According to results the activities carried out during the implementation contributed to the development of language skills of the students. It was also seemed that students’ various cognitive, affective, psychomotor and social skills developed, that improvements happened in terms of classroom management, and that behavioral problems which affect the implementation process decreased. In addition, students, their teachers and parents were observed to have positive opinions regarding the FCM and the implementation process.

Bu araştırmada, Moğol öğrencilerin Türkçe öğrenme başarıları ile dil becerilerine ilişkin algıları arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Araştırma olgu bilim (fenomenoloji) desenine uygun olarak tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcıları Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal Üniversitesi Türkçe Öğretimi Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezinde (TÖMER) Türkçe öğrenen B2 seviyesindeki 5 Moğol öğrencidir. Araştırmaya veri toplamak amacıyla öğrencilerden Türkçe, Türkiye ve dil becerilerine yönelik yazılı olarak metafor üretmeleri ve bu metaforun gerekçesini yazmaları istenmiştir. Araştırma verilerinin toplanması konusunda ayrıca kur sonunda öğrencilerin dil becerilerinden aldıkları puanlar kullanılmıştır. Böylelikle Moğol öğrencilerin Türkiye, Türkçe, dil bilgisi ve dört temel dil becerisi ile ilgili algıları belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin algıları Türkçe öğrenme başarılarıyla birlikte yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin Türkiye’yi “tabiat, yiyecek ve tatlı, kitap ve güneş, müze ve saat, çok kültürlülük, sığınak”; Türkçe öğrenme sürecini “fidan ve gül yetiştirmek, merdiven çıkmak, nazik konuşma, sanat türü, su, önemli bir köprü, zengin sözlük, önceden okuduğum kitap, bisiklet”; okuma becerisini “oyuncak, yürümek, bilgi kaynağı, müzik”; yazma becerisini “trafik kuralı, kadın ve resim”; dinleme becerisini “film, müzik ve başarı anahtarı”; konuşma becerisini “su, internet, pencere, deniz feneri ve güçlü bir silah”; dil bilgisini ise “çiçek” metaforlarıyla olumlu olarak ifade ettikleri belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin Türkiye ve konuşma becerisi ile ilgili ürettikleri olumsuz metafor yoktur. Fakat Türkçe öğrenmenin zorluklarını “rubik küp, matematik teorisi, labirent, lego, karışık bir roman”; okuma becerisini “savaş”; yazma becerisini “büyük bir ağaç ve satranç oyunu”; dinleme becerisini “deprem ve gürültü”; dil bilgisini ise “otobüs, kalabalık ülke, okyanus ve saç” metaforlarıyla olumsuz şekilde ifade ettikleri görülmüştür. Öğrencilerin ürettikleri metaforlar ile kur sonunda aldıkları puanlar karşılaştırıldığında ise olumsuz metaforlara rağmen öğrencilerin puanlarının yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. This study examined the relationship between Mongol students' Turkish learning achievement and their language skill perceptions. The research was designed in accordance with the phenomenology pattern. Participants of the study are B2 level 5 Mongolian students (3 females-2 males) who learn Turkish at TOMER of BAIBU. The age of the participants ranges from 18-21 and they all study Turkish for their undergraduate studies. To collect data, an interview form is used designed by the researchers. By the help of this form, the researchers aimed to determine the participants’ perceptions regarding Turkey, Turkish, four language skills and grammar. For data collection, exit scores of students at the end of the courses were considered. Thus, Mongolian students’ perceptions about Turkey, Turkish, grammar and 4 basic language skills were determined. Students’ perceptions were interpreted with their Turkish learning. As a result of the study, it was found that students produced positive metaphors about Turkey like nature, book and sun. Growing rose and sapling, water and bicycle are the positive metaphors produced about learning Turkish. The metaphors produced about the difficulties of learning Turkish were Rubik’s cube, toy block. They produced such positive metaphors about reading skill as toy and war was the negative metaphor about this skill. Positive metaphors like traffic rule, woman, picture and negative ones such as a huge tree and a game of chess were produced about writing skill. As for listening skill, movie, music were positive and earthquake, noise were negative metaphors. While they produce positive metaphors such as water and lighthouse about speaking skill, they didn’t produce any negative metaphors. There was only one positive metaphor about grammar – flower. When students’ metaphors and exit scores were compared, it was determined that students’ scores were high despite negative metaphors.

In this study, the use of Turkish language course based on tabletpc is aimed to develop a valid and reliable attitude scale whichdetermines the impact of language skills, In the process of creation anddevelopment of the draft scale, item pool was created and consultedexperts with scaning. In 5-point Likert- type scale which has thenumber of questions the premise of the draft 20 item, the use of tabletpc basic language skills in Turkish language course (reading, listening,speaking and writing) contains substances to determine whether thereis an effect. Substances, were obtained by transforming the pattern oflanguage skills achievements into question that were determined inTurkish curriculum. Draft scale was applied to 114 students studyingat year 5 of Uşak City Center of Yaşar Akar and Bingol City CenterIMKB Fatih Elementary School of which were selected as pilot area ofFatih Project. Content validity of the scale were based on expert opinion.As a result of factor analysis to determine the validity of the structureconsisting of 16 items, factor loadings .50 - .84 between the threedimensions of explaining covering 56% of the total variance wereobtained from a scale. 9 of the scale items were positive, 7 of themcontains negative expression. Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin value of the scale was.85, .00 and the Bartlett test of significance value of the Cronbach'salpha internal consistency coefficient was found to be .90. As a result ofthe review of the literature to determine the impact of language skills inTurkish language course based on the use of tablet pc in the sense ofbeing seen as a lack of scale, lack of validity and reliability of this scaleprovided is thought to contribute to the field. Bu çalışmada, Türkçe dersinde tablet pc kullanımının temel dil becerilerine etkisini belirlemeye yarayan, geçerli ve güvenilir bir tutum ölçeği geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Taslak ölçek oluşturma ve geliştirme sürecinde alan taraması yapılarak madde havuzu oluşturulmuş ve uzman görüşlerine başvurulmuştur. Öncül soru sayısı 20 maddeden oluşan 5’li likert tipi taslak ölçekte, Türkçe dersinde tablet pc kullanımının temel dil becerilerine (okuma, dinleme, konuşma ve yazma) etkisinin olup olmadığını belirlemeye yarayan maddeler yer almaktadır. Maddeler, Türkçe dersi öğretim programında belirlenen dil becerileri kazanımlarının soru kalıbına dönüştürülmesi ile elde edilmiştir. Taslak ölçek, Fatih Projesi kapsamında pilot bölge olarak seçilen Uşak İl Merkezi Yaşar Akar İlköğretim Okulu ile Bingöl İl Merkezi İMKB Fatih İlköğretim Okulu I. kademe 5. sınıfta öğretim gören 114 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Ölçeğin kapsam geçerliliği uzman görüşleri alınarak sağlanmıştır. Yapı geçerliliğini belirlemek için yapılan faktör analizi sonucunda 16 maddeden oluşan, faktör yükleri .50-.84 arasında, toplam varyansın % 56’sını açıklayan üç alt boyutu kapsayan bir ölçek elde edilmiştir. Ölçek maddelerinin 9’u olumlu, 7 tanesi olumsuz ifade içermektedir. Ölçeğin Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin değeri .85, Bartlett testi anlamlılık değeri .00 ve Cronbach-alpha iç tutarlılık” katsayısının ise .90 olduğu bulunmuştur. Yapılan literatür taraması sonucunda Türkçe dersinde tablet pc kullanımının temel dil becerilerine etkisini belirleme anlamında bir ölçeğin bulunmaması bir eksiklik olarak görüldüğünden, geçerlilik ve güvenirliği sağlanan bu ölçeğin alana katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.

Nowadays, basic language skills are tought within the curriculumof teaching Turkish as a part of the formal education programmes.Whereas, it was tought through the use of literary texts in the pasttimes, when there was not any school presenting mother tongueeducation. The basic language skills of listening, reading, speaking andwriting were mostly learned by the way of cultural socialisation with theuse of literary texts.In this work, the basic language skills in Mantıku’t-tayr whichwas written in old Anatolian Turkish of 14th century have been detectedand revealed the correspondance level of these skills with the functionsin Turkish Language Teaching Programme (6th, 7th and 8th grades).This work is based on document analysis, all the 4440 couplets inMantıku’t – Tayr have been scanned and through this scanning 1070couplets related to basic language skills have been detected whichinclude 878 couplets of speaking, 38 couplets of writing, 76 couplets oflistening and 79 couplets of reading and the irrelevant couplets haven’tbeen evaluated. It’s been seen that the listening skill in this work hasbeen used mostly through hearing / auditory (49 couplets). It’s beenemphasized that the spoken words in the listening activities must belistened very carefully. Once again it’s been stated that good listening isthe basis of good understanding. The couplets related to speaking skillshave been detected the most. The importance of elocution, answeringthe questions properly and on time, solving the problems by talking andevaluation of self-speech have been emphasized. The importance ofreading various works has been dwelt on. The writing skill has beenprocessed mostly through the writing species and writing materials. Thecouplets involving the basic language skills have been examined and it’sbeen seen that the skills in this work are corresponded with thefunctions of today’s Turkish Lesson Teaching Programme. Henceforth, itis thought necessary and fruitful to utilise this kind of sources in thedesign and execution of the relevant curricula. Günümüzde, temel dil becerileri örgün eğitim kurumlarında Türkçe öğretimi programı içerisinde verilirken; geçmişte, ana dili öğretimi yapan okulların henüz var olmadığı dönemlerde, edebî metinlerde örtük olarak yer almıştır. Anlama becerilerinden dinleme ve okuma ile anlatma becerilerinden konuşma ve yazma becerileri kültür aktarımı yoluyla edebî metinlerden okuyucusuna ulaşmayı başarmıştır.Bu çalışmada XIV. yüzyıl Eski Anadolu Türkçesi eserlerinden olan Mantıku’t-tayr’daki temel dil becerileri tespit edilmiş ve tespit edilen becerilerin Türkçe Dersi (6, 7, 8. sınıflar) Öğretim Programı’ndaki kazanımlarla örtüşme düzeyi ortaya konmuştur. Çalışma doküman incelemesine dayalı olarak yapılmış, eserdeki 4440 beytin tamamı taranmış, bu tarama sonucunda temel dil becerileriyle ilgili 878’i konuşma, 38’i yazma, 76’sı dinleme ve 79’u okuma olmak üzere toplam 1070 beyit tespit edilmiş, ilgili olmayan beyitler değerlendirmeye alınmamıştır. Eserde dinleme becerisinin daha çok işitme/duyma (49 beyit) yönüyle kullanıldığı görülmüştür. Dinleme sırasında söylenen sözlerin dikkate alınması ve dikkatle dinlenmesi gerektiği vurgulanmıştır. Yine iyi dinlemenin, söyleneni anlamanın temeli olduğu belirtilmiştir. Eserde en çok, konuşma becerisiyle ilgili beyit tespit edilmiştir. Söz söylerken güzel konuşmanın önemi, sorulara düzgün ve vaktinde cevap verme, sorunlara konuşarak çözüm arama, kendi konuşmasını değerlendirme vurgulanmıştır. Okuma sırasında sadece aynı eseri okumak yerine bu eseri destekleyecek başka eserleri de okumanın önemi üzerinde durulmuştur. Yazma becerisi daha çok yazı türleri ve yazı materyallerinden bahsedilerek işlenmiştir. Eserde yer alan temel dil becerileriyle ilgili beyitler incelendiğinde, bu becerilerin Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı’ndaki kazanımlarla örtüştüğü görülmektedir. O halde bu tür eserlerin eğitim-öğretim programlarında yer almasının faydalı olacağı düşünülmektedir.

Değişen ve gelişen dünyanın aksine ülkemizde özellikle yabancı dil öğretimi ve öğrenimi konusunda yaşanan sorunlar ile bu sürece karşı olan algı ve tutumlar değişme göstermemektedir. Bu çalışma yabancı dil olarak İngilizce Öğrenme-Öğretme sürecinde karşılaşılan temel problemleri hem İngilizce öğretmenleri hem de öğrencilerin bakış açısına göre ele almayı amaçlamıştır. Aynı zamanda İngilizce derslerinde kullanılan metot ve uygulamaların ne olduğunu bulmayı da amaçlamıştır. Bu amaçlara ulaşmak için hem nitel hem nicel araştırma metotları kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın nicel bölümü öğrenciler için 36, öğretmenler için 47 madde içeren 2 farklı anketten oluşurken, nitel bölüm ise sadece öğretmenler için hazırlanan 6 açık-uçlu sorudan oluşan yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniğini içermektedir. Bu çalışma Muş'un Malazgirt ilçesindeki Alparslan Ortaokulu'nda yürütülüp 150 5. Sınıf öğrencisi ve 5 İngilizce öğretmeni çalışmaya katılmıştır. Bulgular yabancı dil olarak İngilizce ve temel dil becerilerinin öğrenimi sürecinde gerek öğrenciler gerekse öğretmenler açısından çeşitli konulara dayalı pek çok sorunun olduğunu göstermiştir. Ayrıca, bu çalışma temel dil becerilerinin öğrenimi sürecinde yaş ve cinsiyet kavramları açısından anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığını göstermiştir., Unlike the world changing and developing, the problems experienced about foreign language teaching and learning, attitudes and perceptions toward this process have not shown a progress. In this sense, the scope of this study was to find out the main problems of Learning-Teaching English as a Foreign Language in both English teachers' and learners' point of view. Also, it aimed to find out the practices and methods being performed in English lessons. To attain these objectives, both qualitative and quantitative methods were used. The qualitative part of this study was included in 2 different questionnaires; a questionnaire including 36 questions for students and a questionnaire including 47 questions for English teachers while the quantitative part was included in a follow-up structured 6 open-ended interview questions. This study was conducted with 150 5th grade students and 5 English teachers at Alparslan Secondary School, in Malazgirt, Muş, Turkey. The findings reveal that there are many problems based on different subjects in terms of learning English and basic language skills for both teachers and students. In addition, the findings showed that there is no statistically significant difference for students' age and gender while learning basic language skills.

Tarihsel süreç içinde eğitim ve öğretimde en sık kullanılan materyaller arasında ders kitapları başı çekmektedir. Yabancı dil eğitimi kapsamında da öğrencilerin düzeyi ve dil gelişimi gözetilerek ders kitapları hazırlanmakta ve dil eğitiminde de çok sık kullanılmaktadır.Bu araştırmada da yabancılara Türkçe öğretiminde kullanılan İstanbul Yabancılar İçin Türkçe Öğretim Seti ve Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Türkçe Öğretim Seti B2 düzeyi ders kitapları temel dil becerileri, kültür aktarımı ve ünite değerlendirme ölçütleri kapsamında karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın birinci bölümünde yöntem, teknik, problem durumu vb. durumlar aktarılmıştır. İkinci bölümde literatür taraması yapılarak ilgili araştırmalar hakkında bilgiler verilmiş ve üçüncü bölümde kuramsal bilgiler aktarılmıştır. Doküman analizi yöntemi kullanılan araştırmanın bulgu ve yorumlar kısmında yukarda belirtilen ders kitapları karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmiştir. Dinleme becerisi etkinliklerinin diğer beceri etkinliklerine göre nicel olarak geri planda kaldığı tespit edilmiş; Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Türkçe Öğretim Seti'nin ise daha nitelikli dinleme becerisi etkinlikleri kullandığı gözlemlenmiştir. Konuşma becerisi etkinliklerinin her iki yayın grubunda da günlük hayat iletişimleri gözetilerek şekillendirildiği belirlenmiştir. Okuma becerisi etkinliklerinin her iki yayın grubunda da diğer beceri etkinliklerine göre daha ön plana olduğu ve diğer beceri etkinlikleri ile bütünlük arz ettiği tespit edilmiştir. Yazma becerisi etkinliklerine iki yayın grubunda da oldukça önem verildiği, öğrenci ihtiyaçları gözetilerek alıştırmalarla desteklendiği belirlenmiştir. Kültür aktarımı ilkesi İstanbul Yabancılar İçin Türkçe Öğretim Seti'ne göre Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Türkçe Öğretim Seti'nde oldukça ön planda olduğu, karşılaştırmalarla desteklendiği gözlemlenmiştir. Ünite değerlendirme ölçütleri kapsamında değerlendirilen her iki yayın grubu da ders materyalinde olması gereken temel özellikleri taşıdığı tespit edilmiştir. Ancak Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Türkçe Öğretim Seti'nin hazırlanış süreci ve alanında uzman geniş çalışma ekibi ile öne çıktığı; içerik, mizanpaj, görseller, dizayn vb. durumlarda oldukça başarılı bir çizgi yakaladığı tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuç kısmında ise İstanbul Yabancılar İçin Türkçe Öğretim Seti ve Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Türkçe Öğretim Seti B2 düzeyi ders kitapları üzerinde karşılaştırmalı olarak elde edilen bulgular değerlendirilmiş, önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Course books have been the most important materials used in education and teaching throughout the history. Course books on foreign language education are also prepared by considering the language levels and language development of the students, and are used very frequently in language education. In this study, "Istanbul Teaching Turkish to Foreigners Set" and "Yunus Emre Institute Turkish Teaching Set" B2 level course books used in teaching Turkish to foreigners has been examined in terms of basic language skills, cultural transfer and unite assessment criteria in a comparative manner.In the first part of the study, the method, technique, problem status etc. have been provided. In the second part, a literature scan has been conducted and information on various studies has been provided. In the third part, institutional information has been given. The abovementioned course books have been examined in the Findings and Interpretations Part of the study, in which Document Analysis Method has been used. It has been determined that the listening skills are in the lower status when compared with the other language skills in quantitative terms. It has also been observed that more qualified listening skills have been used in Yunus Emre Institute Turkish Teaching Set. It has also been observed that the speaking skill activities in both books have been shaped by considering daily life interactions. Reading skills have been observed to be in the foreground when compared with the other language skills in both books, and are integrated with the other language skills. It has also been determined that writing skill activities are cared for much in both books, and supported by exercises considering student's needs. The cultural transfer principle in Yunus Emre Institute Turkish Teaching Set is in the foreground more than the Istanbul Teaching Turkish to Foreigners Set, and it has been supported by comparisons. In terms of unit assessment criteria, both books have the basic characteristics that have to be present in a class material. However, in Yunus Emre InstituteTurkish Teaching Set comes to the foreground with its preparation process and its being prepared by a specialist working team; and it has achieved to reach a successful point in terms of the contents, page layout, visual elements, design, etc. In the conclusion part of the study, the findings obtained on Istanbul Teaching Turkish to Foreigners Set and Yunus Emre InstituteTurkish Teaching Set B2 Level Course books have been assessed in a comparative manner and recommendations have been made.

In this research opinions of 235 students, attending to the Department of Education of Turkish Language during 2009-2010 were taken and a survey form, consisting of four questions was used as a data collection instrument. The gathered data were analyzed by using the technique of descriptive analysis and the findings were presented numerically. In light of the findings; we see that teacher candidates find teachers very sufficient in listening skill, insufficient in writing skill, that teachers use speaking skill most in the lessons; tell that the lessons in bachelor's degree program do not support basic language skills, and they emphasized that critical reading, creative writing, effective speaking lessons should be included in the program and their hours should be increased.

On account of being both fortifying participation and also being the reflection of daily life, stories have been essential materials in language teaching for ages. The stories which are oral and written cultural products have been conveyed to the digital world via developing communicative technology. With developing technology, lasted maximum three-minute “Digital Stories” which are transferred to the digital media by supporting with audios and visualizations have come out. The purpose of the research is to familiarize the digital storytelling which is powerful in teaching relative to basic language skills’ targets and outcomes which fall within Turkish Language Teaching Program (6,7,8. Grades) (Mİnistry of National Education:2006) to apply in native language education classes. Document analysis has been used in the study which is based on a theoretical basis as data accumulate technique. Descriptive analysis technique has been utilized to analyze the data. In this research, the result has come out that digital storytelling is effective in transferring the native language skills., Hikâyeler, hem katılımı destekleyen hem de günlük hayatın yansıması olmasından dolayı yüzyıllardır dil öğretiminde önemli birer materyal olmuşlardır. Gelişen iletişim teknolojileri ile sözlü ve yazılı kültür ürünlerinden olan hikâyeler dijital dünyaya taşınmışlardır. Bu gelişen teknoloji ile birlikte bir hikâyenin, ses ve görsel öğelerle desteklenerek dijital ortama aktarılmasıyla oluşan en fazla üç dakikalık “Dijital Hikâyeler” varlığını göstermiştir. Araştırmanın amacı, İlköğretim Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı ve Kılavuzu (6., 7., 8. Sınıflar) (MEB:2006)’nda yer alan temel dil becerilerine ait amaç ve kazanımların öğretiminde etkili olan dijital hikaye anlatımlarının, ana dili eğitimi derslerinde kullanılmak üzere tanıtılmasıdır. Kuramsal bir temele dayanan çalışmada veri toplama tekniği olarak doküman analizi kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde ise betimsel analiz tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmada, dijital hikâye anlatımlarının, temel dil becerilerinin aktarılmasında etkili olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

This dissertation research aims to analyze the material Ejercicios Amigos Dos used by students learning Spanish as a foreign language in a Swedish school. Specifically, it examines the place of speaking skills, in the context of basic language skills. This study was an exploratory and descriptive analysis of the material Ejercicios Amigos Dos.Qualitative method used was action research, which was based on the real needs of the author of this study to enhance their teaching.Sheet one and Sheet two containing educational criteria for the analysis of teaching materials were used to measure the place of speaking skills.The main findings in the analysis showed that speaking skills are taken into account in the teaching material, however there are some micro skills missing. Speaking skills do not take a prominent role in the teaching material. Writing skills are emphasized to a greater extent.

The article analyses some approaches to teaching language skills to students of non-linguistic specialities, considers the ways of enhancing teaching strategies in the study process.

In this research, using the opinions of 235 students of Turkish Language Teaching during 2009-2010 year of education, a survey form consisting of six questions was used as a data collecting tool. The collected data was resolved by using descriptive analysis technique, and the achieved findings are presented numerically. In light of the achieved findings; the results are that speaking is in the first rank of the most important category of the four basic language skills, that 56.60% the students perceive themselves to be insufficient in the subject of using it, that speaking is the first and writing is the last of these skills in being used in daily life, listening is the first and writing is the last of these skills in being used in classroom, that reading is the first among the reasons for the lack of using basic language skills, that the second reason is the lessons in the program not reinforcing these skills, that then comes the lack of effort, and that the last of these reasons is educators not providing the environment to reinforce these skills in the classroom.

Dil bilgisi, kısaca bir dili ses, şekil ve cümle yapıları bakımından inceleyip bunlarla ilgili kuralları tespit eden bir bilim dalı olarak tanımlanabilir. Dil bilgisi öğretimi ise dilin ses, şekil ve cümle yapılarını birtakım yöntemler kullanarak öğrencilere sezdirme ve bu yolla onların dili etkili, doğru ve düzgün kullanmalarını sağlamaya yönelik etkinlikler yapma sürecidir. Dolayısıyla dil bilgisi öğretimi, anlama ve anlatma becerilerinin öğrencilere etkili bir şekilde kazandırılması için yardımcı ve destekleyici bir alan olarak görülebilir. Nitekim günümüzde uygulanmakta olan İlköğretim Türkçe Dersi (6-8. Sınıflar) Öğretim Programı ve Kılavuzu’nda dil bilgisinin, “bir dilin dinleme/izleme, konuşma, okuma, yazma temel becerilerini destekleyen kurallar bütünü” olduğu belirtilmiştir. Bu bakımdan dil bilgisi öğretimi, birtakım kuralları ezberletmeyi değil, onları kavratarak anlama ve anlatma becerilerinde kullandırabilmeyi hedefler. Grammar can be briefly defined as a discipline that studies a language in terms of phonetics, form and sentence structures; and determines the rules concerning these. As for grammar teaching, it is a process of enabling students to sense the phonetics, form and sentence structures of a language by making use of particular methods; and carrying out activities which help them use language effectively, accurately and smoothly. Therefore, grammar teaching can be seen as an assistant and supportive field, which helps students to acquire the skills of comprehension and expression in an effective way. As a matter of fact, it is stated in the Curriculum and Guidebook of Primary School Turkish Course (6th – 8th grade) that, grammar is “a body of rules supporting the basic skills of a language such as listening/watching, speaking, reading and writing”. In this respect, grammar teaching does not aim to make students memorize a set of rules; but it aims to make them understand those rules so that they are able to utilize them through skills of understanding and expression.
