Les persones amb el Trastorn de l’Espectre Autista (TEA) es troben amb diverses limitacions que dificulten el seu procés de socialització, com ara el desenvolupament de les emocions. Les persones amb autisme tenen dificultats a l’hora d’identificar, comprendre i expressar les emocions, sigui les pròpies o de les persones del seu entorn, aquest és un aspecte que cal tenir en compte, ja que dificulta el seu desenvolupament personal, social i integral. Per tant, aquest Treball de Final de Grau pretén oferir una proposta d’intervenció educativa per tal de millorar i treballar l’àmbit emocional dels infants amb autisme. D’altra banda, inclou la conceptualització i el desenvolupament de les emocions de les persones amb autisme, ja que són aspectes que cal tenir en compte a l’hora de realitzar la intervenció. Per acabar, s’elabora una guia que recull la programació de la proposta educativa per tal que futurs professionals de la pedagogia, la psicologia i la psicopedagogia puguin aplicar durant les seves primeres intervencions People with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) find various limitations that hinder their socialization process, as well as the development of emotions. People with autism have difficulties when it comes to identifying, understanding and expressing emotions, their own or from other people who surround, this is an aspect that must be taken into account, since it hinders their personal and social development. Therefore, this final degree project intends to offer an education intervention proposal in order to improve and work on the emotional realm of children with autism. Other than that, this work included the conceptualization and development of the emotions of people with autism, since they are aspects that must be taken into account when carrying out the intervention. Finally, a guide is created that summarizes the programming of the educational proposal so that future professionals of pedagogy, psychology and psychopedagogy can apply during their first interventions

Cloud Gaming is an internet service, which allows the customer to play a video game on any device through the cloud. The main objective of this type of service is to provide players with an immediate gaming experience on any device, without needing to have potent hardware to run it. Despite being a recent service and still underpowered, it brings advantages and opportunities for the Gaming Industry. This article aims to define the historical evolution of technology associated with games, the pioneer companies and those that currently present themselves as references in terms of sales volume in this market and identify opportunities and challenges in the development and implementation of Cloud Gaming Services in the Gaming Industry, so that companies can expand. This article aims to arouse the interest of researchers in the areas of Cloud Computing for this gaming market. Application servers generate daily log files with a significant part of their activity. This information is recorded sequentially over time but mixes various types of information. The absence of a standard for formatting the data record and the respective volume, make it difficult to extract the corresponding information. The lack of work, specifically in the treatment of SOA server log files, did not allow the comparisson with pre-existing Key Performance Indicators (KPI) or a set of best practices that could be followed. This work results in a description of the process that can serve as a guide for: definition of a logging structure; construction of a data extraction process; definition of a data structure to support the extracted information; definition of control metrics; definition of analysis and control processes for the extracted data.. Objectives This study aimed at developing technical recommendations for the acquisition, processing and analysis of renal ASL data in the human kidney at 1.5 T and 3 T feld strengths that can promote standardization of renal perfusion measurements and facilitate the comparability of results across scanners and in multi-centre clinical studies. Methods An international panel of 23 renal ASL experts followed a modifed Delphi process, including on-line surveys and two in-person meetings, to formulate a series of consensus statements regarding patient preparation, hardware, acquisition protocol, analysis steps and data reporting. Results Fifty-nine statements achieved consensus, while agreement could not be reached on two statements related to patient preparation. As a default protocol, the panel recommends pseudo-continuous (PCASL) or fow-sensitive alternating inversion recovery (FAIR) labelling with a single-slice spin-echo EPI readout with background suppression and a simple but robust quantifcation model. Discussion This approach is considered robust and reproducible and can provide renal perfusion images of adequate quality and SNR for most applications. If extended kidney coverage is desirable, a 2D multislice readout is recommended. These recommendations are based on current available evidence and expert opinion. Nonetheless they are expected to be updated as more data become available, since the renal ASL literature is rapidly expanding.

To determine the issuance of licenses versus building license requests that occurred in the last five years in a municipality, a dashboard was implemented and performance indicators were defined, thus presenting the Case Study - Emission of licenses versus building license requests, where the number of licenses emitted, i.e. the number of licenses produced, per year and municipality, as the time elapsed in the issuing of licenses versus the entry of building license requests, as well as the civil parishes that are part of the Municipality. With the constant development of the digital retail market, competition makes it necessary to implement services that increase consumer attractiveness and loyalty. Easy return policies, although attractive, generate charges to tenants, making size recommendation systems essential mechanisms in the maintenance of reverse logistics metrics. This article seeks to contextualize the need for personalization of the consumer experience, through personalized recommendations, also presenting the solution of the company Sizebay. For this, the consumer experience personalization, recommendation systems for fashion e-commerce and the proposed tool as a solution are described. Finally, real data of stores that use the service are presented in order to quantify the impact of personalized recommendations. Mesonephric hyperplasia (MH) is a very rare condition. There are few cases in the literature. Mesonephric remnants (MR) or MH can be a rare source of abnormal Papanicolaou smears. The most common, often difficult, in the differential diagnosis of MH is mesonephric carcinoma that has a poor prognosis. We report a case of a 29-years-old with a routine Papanicolaou smear reported as atypical glandular cells. Financial auditing focuses on obtaining and assessing evidence, based on certain assertions. It is based on the scrutiny of companies' data, with the objective of obtaining appropriate and sufficient evidence that provides a reasonable degree of certainty that the financial statements are free from fraud and / or material errors, subsequently communicating the results to the stakeholders. However, the growing dimension and complexity of organizations, well represented by the volume of data they currently generate and store, have greatly increased the requirements for the auditor's work, which must be effective and efficient. Classic audit procedures, which are highly dependent on sampling and manual procedures, have proved to be insufficient. Due to the massive amount of data, the emergence of new technologies and computer tools at a frenetic level, auditing is now being rethought, with the debate extending from professional organizations to academics. This article brings together the gaps and shortcomings recently revealed in the thought of the so-called traditional audit, and the challenges it faces today. Background Late-onset Pompe disease (LOPD) is a genetic disorder characterized by progressive degeneration of the skeletal muscles produced by a deficiency of the enzyme acid alpha-glucosidase. Enzymatic replacement therapy with recombinant human alpha-glucosidase seems to reduce the progression of the disease; although at the moment, it is not completely clear to what extent. Quantitative muscle magnetic resonance imaging (qMRI) is a good biomarker for the follow-up of fat replacement in neuromuscular disorders. The aim of this study was to describe the changes observed in fat replacement in skeletal muscles using qMRI in a cohort of LOPD patients followed prospectively. Methods A total of 36 LOPD patients were seen once every year for 4 years. qMRI, several muscle function tests, spirometry, activities of daily living scales, and quality-of-life scales were performed on each visit. Muscle MRI consisted of two-point Dixon studies of the trunk and thigh muscles. Computer analysis of the images provided the percentage of muscle degenerated and replaced by fat in every muscle (known as fat fraction). Longitudinal analysis of the measures was performed using linear mixed models applying the Greenhouse-Geisser test. Results We detected a statistically significant and continuous increase in mean thigh fat fraction both in treated (+5.8% in 3 years) and in pre-symptomatic patients (+2.6% in 3years) (Greenhouse-Geisser p < 0.05). As an average, fat fraction increased by 1.9% per year in treated patients, compared with 0.8% in pre-symptomatic patients. Fat fraction significantly increased in every muscle of the thighs. We observed a significant correlation between changes observed in fat fraction in qMRI and changes observed in the results of the muscle function tests performed. Moreover, we identified that muscle performance and mean thigh fat fraction at baseline visit were independent parameters influencing fat fraction progression over 4 years (analysis of covariance, p < 0.05). Conclusions Our study identifies that skeletal muscle fat fraction continues to increase in patients with LOPD despite the treatment with enzymatic replacement therapy. These results suggest that the process of muscle degeneration is not stopped by the treatment and could impact muscle function over the years. Hereby, we show that fat fraction along with muscle function tests can be considered a good outcome measures for clinical trials in LOPD patients.

Os dispositivos Internet of Things (IoT) são primordialmente utilizados para conectar objetos físicos, enquanto as tecnologias sociais são responsáveis pela colaboração e interação social. A importância da Big Data não reside apenas na quantidade de dados que se possui, mas sim do que podemos fazer com eles. A criação do conceito de IoT permite estender a conectividade dos aparelhos digitais aos aparelhos físicos, que não estão ligados à Internet, e que usamos diariamente. This article deals with the application of business intelligence, data visualization tools, to analyze the improvement of energy efficiency in residential buildings in Portugal. We used an exploratory data method, which was obtained from the Energy Agency (ADENE), applying business intelligence systems for historical analysis and drawing up projections until the year 2035. The results obtained showed energy inefficiency in Portuguese housing buildings, with approximately 44% of them classified with energy certification D, E, and F. We created a scenario with the goal of raising these homes to at least energy classification C, as recommended by the study carried out by the Committee on Climate Change of the United Kingdom. This time, we identified that several benefits would be achieved, from reducing the value of the electricity bill to reducing the emission of greenhouse gases. info:eu-repo/semantics/acceptedVersion

The use of positively worded items and reversed forms aims to reduce response bias and is a commonly used practice nowadays. The main goal of this research is to analyze the psychometric implications of the use of positive and reversed items in measurement instruments. Method: A sample of 374 participants was tested aged between 18 and 73 (M=33.98; SD=14.12), 62.60% were women. A repeated measures design was used, evaluating the participants with positive, reversed, and combined forms of a self-effi cacy test. Results: When combinations of positive and reversed items are used in the same test the reliability of the test is fl awed and the unidimensionality of the test is jeopardized by secondary sources of variance. In addition, the variance of the scores is reduced, and the means differ signifi cantly from those in tests in which all items are either positive or reversed, but not combined. Conclusions: The results of this study present a trade-off between a potential acquiescence bias when items are positively worded and a potential different understanding when combining regular and reversed items in the same test. The specialized literature recommends combining regular and reversed items for controlling for response style bias, but these results caution researchers in using them as well after accounting for the potential effect of linguistic skills and the fi ndings presented in this study., Antecedentes: el uso de ítems formulados positivamente junto con otros inversos es una práctica habitual para tratar de evitar sesgos de respuesta. El objetivo del presente trabajo es analizar las implicaciones psicométricas de utilizar ítems directos e inversos en la misma prueba. Método: se utilizó una muestra de 374 participantes con edades comprendidas entre 18 y 73 años (M=33.98; DT=14.12), con un 62,60% de mujeres. Mediante un diseño de medidas repetidas se evaluó a los participantes en una prueba de autoefi cacia con tres condiciones: todos los ítems positivos, todos negativos y un combinado de ambos. Resultados: cuando se utilizan en la misma prueba tanto ítems positivos como negativos su fi abilidad se deteriora, y la unidimensionalidad de la prueba se ve comprometida por fuentes secundarias de varianza. La varianza de las puntuaciones disminuye, y las medias difi eren signifi cativamente respecto de las pruebas en las que todos los ítems están formulados positiva o negativamente. Conclusiones: los resultados de este estudio presentan una disyuntiva entre un posible sesgo de aquiescencia cuando los ítems tienen una redacción positiva y una comprensión potencialmente diferente cuando se combinan ítems regulares e invertidos en la misma prueba. Nowadays, Computer Aided Audit Tools (and Techniques’) support almost all audit processes concerning data extraction and analysis. These tools were firstly aimed to support financial auditing processes. However, their scope is beyond this, therefore, we present case studies and good practices in an academic context. Although in large auditing companies Audit Tools to do data extraction and analysis are very common and applied in several contexts, we realized that is not easy to find practical examples to teach this subject. Computer Science students’ and teachers usually use application manuals’, which are adequate to explore the tools itself, but they are not enough to do real data analysis: a “hands-on” approach is essential. Despite that, our students didn’t belong to any Computer Science graduation. CAATTs are good examples of software aimed to help auditors to analyze data, to explore and study distinct data sets in auditing processes. CAATTs represent an innovative approach to do data analysis, mainly because they allow the manipulation of very large data records with no significant added costs. Frequently, users have another difficulty: they are not able to adequate their data sets or to prepare their data in order to create useful input data, to do their analysis. In this paper, we present a proposal of extraction and data analysis, based on data sets obtained from a LMS platform (Learning Management System), a real data set that can be used to support students learning about CAATTs topic. Fundamental procedures to reach specific answers using a CAATT as a main tool to do data extraction and analysis are also referred. The context for this case study was an Information Technologies applied to Auditing course in a Master Degree graduation.

In this context, the primary research objective of this study is to analyze if robotics facilitates programming learning. To tackle the problem, we developed a robotic kit and a small course. The robotic kit used Arduino platform and was presented in the context of this course. The course consisted of programming concepts. This course was taught to higher education students, with no previous programming knowledge. In the end, we analyzed the impact of the course. Results demonstrate that students showed interest in using robotics to learn computer programming. Results also showed the main adoption determinants of the robotic kit. Enjoyment is the most relevant to the robotic kit intention to use. However, perceived ease is the dimension that has more impact on robotic kit usage. authorsversion published

Assumem perante a organização um papel preponderante quer no apoio aos níveis de gestão estratégico, tático e operacional. Dada a sua complexidade, o sucesso deste sistema depende de vários fatores. A investigação aqui reportada foca-se no impacto do suporte da gestão de topo e da formação dos utilizadores sobre a adoção e sucesso dos sistemas de informação. Para tal foi desenvolvido um modelo e em seguida realizado estudo empírico para respetiva validação. É fundamental estudar e investigar as melhores abordagens à sua integração. O presente estudo identifica, os principais princípios orientadores da ética, na área da informática e sistemas de informação, em contexto de uso de sistemas inteligentes e autónomos. Apresenta também os resultados de um estudo bibliométrico, no qual são identificados os principais grupos de assuntos estudados e publicados na ACM e IEEE pela comunidade científica. This article identifies the guiding principles of ethics in the context of using intelligent and autonomous systems. A utilização do smartphone na sociedade atual tem vindo a crescer através da introdução de novos dispositivos móveis no mercado e da rápida evolução das tecnologias de comunicação. Esta evolução leva a que este dispositivo móvel quase perca as suas funções principais de efetuar chamadas e enviar mensagens, e adquira também as funções de um computador com uma baixa capacidade de processamento. Grande parte da adição destas novas funcionalidades ao telemóvel, foi da responsabilidade das empresas de telecomunicações, pois as pessoas ao adquirirem um telemóvel melhor, dão mais uso aos dados móveis. Essa responsabilidade é partilhada com as empresas de desenvolvimento de smartphones e de aplicações a ser instaladas nos mesmos. Com estes novos dispositivos no mercado, e com a variedade de aplicações disponíveis, as pessoas têm a tendência de os querer adquirir, visto que, com bastante facilidade, conseguem efetuar algumas funções que anteriormente apenas conseguiam com um computador. Este estudo mostra perceber qual é a influência que o telemóvel tem no quotidiano das pessoas, nomeadamente se consegue fazer com que as pessoas se tornem dependentes do mesmo, sem se aperceberem. O advento das tecnologias e, sucessivamente, da internet, despoletou diversos fenómenos até antes desconhecidos. A possibilidade de comunicação entre os utilizadores da internet levou ao aparecimento de redes sociais e, consequentemente as comunidades online, como forma de sociabilização e troca de ideias. Começaram a surgir os blogues e influenciadores digitais, que rapidamente se tornaram parte fundamental nas decisões de compra dos seus seguidores, ao criar parcerias com empresas e divulgar os seus produtos/serviços. Com este artigo pretende-se perceber qual a influência desses indivíduos nas decisões de compra dos seus seguidores. As redes sociais assumem, desde finais do século XX, um papel de referência quando falamos de meios de comunicação. O conteúdo é espalhado de forma rápida e personalizada e o utilizador é, ao mesmo tempo, criador e recetor de conteúdo. Nesta perspetiva, os influenciadores digitais assumem um papel importante na divulgação das marcas. São indivíduos que se aproximam do público, garantindo uma maior confiança na marca ou produto que estão a divulgar, algo que não acontece na publicidade dita tradicional (televisão, rádio ou jornais). Somando, os influenciadores digitais assumem um papel importante na criação de laços. Através de um inquérito por questionário, quisemos saber a importância psicossocial de Cameron Dallas para os seus seguidores portugueses. A realidade aumentada (RA), no turismo, tem contribuído para revolucionar a forma como turistas e visitantes acedem a informação, adquirem conhecimento e se integram nos espaços físicos e destinos visitados. Os estudos produzidos a este respeito são ainda limitados, particularmente na perceção da forma como os utilizadores adotam a tecnologia e sobre que uso fazem dela. This study has the primary goal to analyze the growth of data science through the main search trends. This study was conducted by defining in high level the concept of data science as well as its main components. Supported in those elements, we identified the main trends. We used mainly data from google trends to determine the evolution of search by topics., research area, or simple expressions. It allowed us to reckon that artificial intelligence (AI)suffered a lack of interest until 2012. Then it became an increasingly popular field since 2014. O fenômeno do aumento da população idosa associado às ciências e tecnologias da informação e comunicação tem inspirado vários trabalhos de investigação que buscam alternativas para incluir essa parcela da população a essa nova realidade. A partir do levantamento bibliográfico sobre o estado da arte, a maioria dos estudos considerou as variáveis gênero, situação física, inclusão digital e socialização dos idosos. Apenas um estudo considerou as variáveis narrativa de jogos, interação social e condição de saúde como preditores diretos de intenção de uso de jogos digitais, propondo um modelo de uso e aceitação das Tecnologias estendido. Neste contexto, e diante desta lacuna identificada, a presente proposta de investigação intenta identificar características que facilitem e/ou promovam a aceitação de jogos eletrônicos, a sua utilização e o aprendizado de tecnologias da informação e comunicação pela população idosa. Este artigo demonstra que quaisquer que sejam as descrições de algoritmos computacionais, o que eles apresentam são alguns tipos de heurísticas na lógica computacional para a otimização das aquisições e tratamentos de informações. As informações adquiridas são sempre armazenadas em mídias digitais, organizadas em um grupo com indexação de acesso em uma ordem qualquer, o que permite relacioná-las com tipos de indexadores de um outro grupo de mídias digitais. A metodologia baseia-se na geração de uma indexação única em uma mídia digital de tal maneira que as informações se ordenem de forma hierárquica. Uma vez composta uma única indexação em uma mídia digital, o algoritmo poderá descrever qual é a ordem em que as informações devem ser mostradas ou trabalhadas. O resultado é a disponibilização das informações em um tempo mais otimizado em relação a uma lógica convencional, e sempre atendendo ao objetivo do projeto. A escolha de um dos tipos de heurística, a ordenação da indexação e o cruzamento entre mídias digitais leva à obtenção de maior ou menor tempo no acesso à informação e em seu tratamento, onde normalmente a falta de tal indexação é causa de lentidão no acesso ou mesmo de ausência de alguns dados. info:eu-repo/semantics/acceptedVersion
