À travers les témoignages d’hôtes de maisons relais ainsi que de résidents, le présent article entend rendre compte de la démarche des repas collectifs menée dans les maisons relais gérées par les professionnels de La Sauvegarde du Nord. Cette étude de cas permettra ainsi de nourrir la réflexion sur le rapport entre alimentation et précarité et soulèvera la question de savoir comment se saisir de la question de l’alimentation comme levier de socialisation. Based on interviews of professionals and residents, this article would like to describe the experimentation of collectives meals that has been led in the relay-houses directed by La Sauvegarde du Nord. This study will establish some elements to have a better understanding of the link between eating practices and precarity. It will also lead us to think about the way to use this collectives meals as a socialization lever.

Early infancy is a critical period for the development of food likes and dislikes, but very little is known about the role of the social context and parent-child interaction within this process, and even less about what happens in the home environment. The current paper addresses this issue by examining how and when parents utter food assessments about their infants eating practices during mealtimes in the home, and the practices through which infant likes become established as knowledge. A data corpus of 77 video-recorded infant mealtimes from six infants (aged 5-9 months) and their parents was analysed using discursive psychology, with a specific focus on the use of object-side and subject-side assessments. Data were recorded in English-speaking family homes in Scotland and Sweden. The analysis highlights three key findings: (1) infants interactional rights to assess food are invoked during first tastes, (2) infants food likes are established through anchoring in family food prefer-ences and as shared knowledge among family members, and (3) infants potential food dislikes are challenged by parents using object-side assessments and claims about previous likes. Parents thus play a crucial role in the establishment of infant food likes through the formulation of subject-side category assessments during early infant mealtimes. The research suggests that more focus should be placed on examining infant eating practices as collaborative and interactional events in everyday contexts.

Little has been said about the disruptive impact that the inability to eat and to participate in mealtimes has for patients with a life-threatening illness and their families. The aim of the current study is to overcome this gap and shed light on how food and eating practices are experienced by families at the end-of-life. An ethnographic research was developed in two Portuguese palliative care units: participant observation was conducted during 10 months and in-depth interviews were carried out with 10 patients with a life-threatening illness, 20 family members and 20 palliative care professionals. Food is not only a matter of nutrition in a biological sense, but also an act of giving care to patients with a life-threatening illness. The findings suggest that food and eating practices affect the processes of relationality and of doing family at the end-of-life in Portugal. Attention is particularly paid to gender differences. The study supports recent sociological research which understands the dying process as a relational experience and intends to develop sociological knowledge on the materialities of care.

Introdução: Práticas alimentares adequadas na infância são construídas por oferta de alimentos variados e com valor nutricional, ambiente adequado às refeições, situação de vida das famílias e percepção do estado nutricional da criança, sendo influenciadas por condições socioeconômicas e culturais. A transição nutricional, marcada pela alimentação inadequada, pela ¿pandemia¿ da obesidade e carência dos micronutrientes, vem trazendo grandes desafios para a saúde pública, ligados às condições socioeconômicas e culturais associadas à pobreza. Objetivo: Compreender, na perspectiva dos pais, as práticas alimentares das famílias de crianças avaliadas com obesidade e desnutrição de uma creche em uma região de alta vulnerabilidade social. Metodologia: Estudo qualitativo com entrevistas semiestruturadas com as mães, responsáveis pelas crianças que foram avaliadas com obesidade e desnutrição, em uma creche no município do Guarujá, SP, em 2019, em uma região de alta vulnerabilidade social. Os dados empíricos oriundos da participação de três crianças obesas e três crianças desnutridas foram analisados por meio de análise de conteúdo. Resultados: Dos dados empíricos emergiram três temas analíticos: concepções e práticas nutricionais; alimentação na creche; e o corpo do filho na percepção materna. As práticas alimentares estavam sujeitas aos fatores socioeconômico e cultural. Houve falta de alimentos para as famílias dos desnutridos e para os obesos incidiu a oferta de obesogênicos. A falta do local para as refeições, dito como ideal, não impediu a coesão familiar, porém a TV, o celular, o computador, entre outros foram fatores impeditivos, evidenciando a influência sociocultural. A creche foi reconhecida pela alimentação adequada e as mães não perceberam o real estado nutricional dos filhos, revelando a distância entre a percepção subjetiva e sociocultural e o olhar biomédico. Conclusões e Considerações Finais: As práticas alimentares das famílias dessas crianças estão associadas ao acesso ao alimento em um contexto social e econômico, ou seja, o que se pode comprar com o que se tem ou o que se pode oferecer com o que se conseguiu, e também norteadas pela cultura alimentar. Para enfrentamento da desnutrição e da obesidade na criança, fazem-se necessárias a ampliação da percepção biológica e orgânica e a compreensão dos determinantes sociais, que vão além da barriga vazia e da mesa cheia, uma vez que as condições socioeconômicas e culturais estão intimamente ligadas às práticas alimentares e à percepção do corpo da criança. Ainda que como discurso de que práticas alimentares adequadas são importantes, esta pesquisa não teve o propósito de construir parâmetros, mas chamar a atenção às políticas sociais para compreender a família dentro das diferenças socioeconômicas e culturais, dotada de emoções, valores e comportamentos. Introduction: Proper dietary practices are constructed by offering a variety of nutritional foods, a proper environment for meals, family life situations, and perception of the child's nutritional status; all of which are influenced by socioeconomic and cultural conditions. The nutritional transition, characterized by poor diet, the ¿pandemic¿ of obesity and lack of micronutrients, associated with poverty has brought great challenges to public health. Objective: To determine feeding practices from the parents' perspective of families of children assessed with obesity and malnutrition in a region of high social vulnerability. Methods: Qualitative study with semi-structured interviews of mothers, responsible for children who were evaluated for obesity and malnutrition, in a daycare center, in the municipality of Guarujá in 2019. The empirical data from the parents of the three obese children and the three malnourished children were investigated via Content Analysis. Results: From the empirical data, three analytical themes emerged: nutritional concepts and practices; food provided by the daycare center; and the child's body from the maternal perception. Eating practices were subject to socioeconomic and cultural factors. There was insufficient food for the families of the malnourished, while in the obese children¿s families there was a supply of obesogens. The lack of a suitable place for meals, considered to be ideal, did not prevent family cohesion; however TV, mobile phones, computers, among others were impeding factors, thereby demonstrating a sociocultural influence. The daycare center was recognized for providing sufficient nutrition and the mothers did not perceive the child's real nutritional status, thus revealing the distance between the subjective and sociocultural view from the biomedical perspective. Conclusions and Final considerations: The eating practices of these children¿s families are associated with access to food within their social and economic context, that is, buy what you can with what you have or offer what you can with what you have been given, also guided by alimentary culture. Socioeconomic and cultural conditions are closely linked to eating practices and the perception of the child's body. Therefore, in order to face malnutrition and obesity in children it is necessary to expand the biological and organic perception and the understanding of social determinants, which go beyond an empty stomach and a full table. While reporting the discourse that adequate eating practices are important, this research was not intended to build parameters, but to draw attention to social policies to understand the family within the socioeconomic and cultural context, associated with their emotions, values and behavior.

Introduction: School environments can influence students' dietary habits. Hence, implementing a healthy canteen intervention programme in schools is a recommended strategy to improve students' dietary intake. This study will evaluate the feasibility of providing healthier food and beverage options in selected secondary schools in Malaysia by working with canteen vendors. It also will assess the changes in food choices before and after the intervention.Methods: A feasibility cluster randomised controlled study will be conducted in six secondary schools (intervention, n = 4; control, n = 2) comprising of rural and urban schools located in Selangor and Perak states in Malaysia. Four weeks of intervention will be conducted among Malaysian adolescents aged 15 years old. Two interventions are proposed that will focus on providing healthier food options in the canteen and convenience shops in the selected schools. Interventions 1 and 2 will entail training the canteen and school convenience shop operators. Intervention 2 will be applied to subsidise the cost of low energy-dense kuih (traditional cake), vegetables, and fruits. The control group will continue to sell the usual food. Trained dietitians will audit the canteen menu and food items sold by the school canteen and convenience shops in all schools. Anthropometric measurements, blood pressure and dietary assessment will be collected at baseline and at the end of 4-week intervention. Focus group discussions with students and in-depth interviews with headmasters, teachers, and school canteen operators will be conducted post-intervention to explore intervention acceptability. Under this Healthy School Canteen programme, school canteens will be prohibited from selling “red flag” foods. This refers to foods which are energy-dense and not nutritious, such as confectionery and deep-fried foods. They will also be prohibited from selling soft drinks, which are sugar-rich. Instead, the canteens will be encouraged to sell “green flag” food and drinks, such as fruits and vegetables.Conclusion: It is anticipated that this feasibility study can provide a framework for the conception and implementation of nutritional interventions in a future definitive trial at the school canteens in Malaysia.

Growing urbanisation in Africa is accompanied by rapid changes in food environments, with potential shifts towards unhealthy food/beverage consumption, including in socio-economically disadvantaged populations. This study investigated how unhealthy food and beverages are embedded in everyday life in deprived areas of two African countries, to identify levers for context relevant policy. Deprived neighbourhoods (Ghana: 2 cities, Kenya: 1 city) were investigated (total = 459 female/male, adolescents/adults aged ≥13 y). A qualitative 24hr dietary recall was used to assess the healthiness of food/beverages in relation to eating practices: time of day and frequency of eating episodes (periodicity), length of eating episodes (tempo), and who people eat with and where (synchronisation). Five measures of the healthiness of food/beverages in relation to promoting a nutrient-rich diet were developed: i. nutrients (energy-dense and nutrient-poor -EDNP/energy-dense and nutrient-rich -EDNR); and ii. unhealthy food types (fried foods, sweet foods, sugar sweetened beverages (SSBs). A structured meal pattern of three main meals a day with limited snacking was evident. There was widespread consumption of unhealthy food/beverages. SSBs were consumed at three-quarters of eating episodes in Kenya (78.5%) and over a third in Ghana (36.2%), with those in Kenya coming primarily from sweet tea/coffee. Consumption of sweet foods peaked at breakfast in both countries. When snacking occurred (more common in Kenya), it was in the afternoon and tended to be accompanied by a SSB. In both countries, fried food was an integral part of all mealtimes, particularly common with the evening meal in Kenya. This includes consumption of nutrient-rich traditional foods/dishes (associated with cultural heritage) that were also energy-dense: (>84% consumed EDNR foods in both countries). The lowest socio-economic groups were more likely to consume unhealthy foods/beverages. Most eating episodes were 77% of eating episodes were consumed at home and >46% with family, which tended to be energy dense. Eating alone was also common as >42% of eating episodes were taken alone. In these deprived settings, policy action to encourage nutrient-rich diets has the potential to prevent multiple forms of malnutrition, but action is required across several sectors: enhancing financial and physical access to healthier foods that are convenient (can be eaten quickly/alone) through, for example, subsidies and incentives/training for local food vendors. Actions to limit access to unhealthy foods through, for example, fiscal and advertising policies to dis-incentivise unhealthy food consumption and SSBs, especially in Ghana. Introducing or adapting food-based dietary guidelines to incorporate advice on reducing sugar and fat at mealtimes could be accompanied by cooking skills interventions focussing on reducing frying/oil used when preparing meals, including ‘traditional’ dishes and reducing the sugar content of breakfast., Highlights • Growing urbanisation in African countries, such as Ghana and Kenya is accompanied by rapid changes in food environments. • Investigating unhealthy food practices in deprived areas of African cities identified levers for contextualised policy. • Widespread consumption of unhealthy food/beverages including energy dense nutrient rich foods associated with tradition. • A structured three main meals a day pattern with limited snacking was evident, with eating with family or alone common. • Inter-sectoral policy promoting nutrient-rich diets to prevent all forms of malnutrition in deprived urban areas is needed.

En el presente artículo expondremos las emociones ligadas a las prácticas del comer cotidianas de mujeres empleadas de oficinas públicas de la Administración Pública Nacional Argentina, centrándonos en los aportes teóricos de la sociología de los cs/emociones. El presente trabajo parte de una investigación, en donde se buscaba conocer la configuración de las emociones y las prácticas del comer de dichas mujeres. Para ello se realizaron entrevistas en profundidad a mujeres de entre 22 y 56 años con variedad de años de experiencia laboral en oficinas públicas. Como principales resultados, se observa que el asco, la culpa y la vergüenza se constituyen como las emociones ligadas al comer cotidiano a partir de una articulación entre el régimen alimentario y las prácticas del dietar que organizan el comer. In this article we will expose the emotions linked to the daily eating practices of women employees of public offices of the Argentine National Public Administration, focusing on the theoretical contributions of the sociology of bodies/emotions. The present work is based on a research, where the aim was to know the configuration of emotions and the eating practices of these women. In order to do so, in-depth interviews were carried out with women between 22 and 56 years old with a variety of years of work experience in public offices. The main results were that disgust, guilt and shame are the emotions linked to daily eating, based on an articulation between the diet and the dietary practices that organize eating. Neste artigo, exporemos as emoções ligadas às práticas alimentares diárias de mulheres empregadas em cargos públicos da Administração Pública Nacional Argentina, enfocando as contribuições teóricas da sociologia dos corpos / emoções. O presente trabalho é baseado em uma investigação, na qual queríamos conhecer a configuração das emoções e práticas alimentares dessas mulheres. Para isso, foram realizadas entrevistas em profundidade com mulheres entre 22 e 56 anos de idade, com vários anos de experiência profissional em cargos públicos. Como principais resultados, observa-se que nojo, culpa e vergonha são constituídas como emoções ligadas à alimentação diária a partir de uma articulação entre a dieta e as práticas alimentares que organizam a alimentação.

In order to understand the act of eating it becomes necessary to place it within a determinate society, time and space, which are structured by concrete practices and organized by specific rules and norms. Knowledge about food consumption within the working space is relevant because the food practices deployed during office hours are linked to the relation between energy use and the replenishment of energies necessaries for the working tasks. These strategies of selection of meals by the women interviewed were organized in the articulation between the available physical space, the body and the available time for eating. These women seek to eat in the fastest time possible and therefore consume “fast food” and “light” food. At this way, a “disposable commensality” is structured as a way of everyday eating in the office, where the relation heavy/fast organizes the food practices in contrast to the body used as a recipient. The data for this article is part of a wider research in which I seek to describe the everyday eating practices of working women within the spaces of national public offices, in relation to their eating and commensality. The article begins with (a) the exposition of the bases connecting bodies/emotions with eating; b) present the meals selected daily and the strategies for the selections of these meals as explained by the women and c) d) explain the relation between food/body/space.

Anthropologists have paid much attention to food and eating practices in India, but surprisingly few scholars in any discipline have examined eating disorders. This article presents an ethnographic case study of disordered eating, based on a story of a young female pharmacist from one of the Northern Indian states. Advocating ethnography as an essential method to uncovering the multiple facets of “not eating,” I first show how this phenomenon may reflect resistance to Brahmanical patriarchy, especially the institution of arranged marriage. Secondly, I illustrate how “not eating” may be an embodied expression of distress, in this case related to the inability to fulfil filial obligations of reciprocity. Finally, I argue that “not eating” in India may be associated with the ways in which personhood, as locally understood, is influenced by regional socioeconomic development. Thus, while young, unmarried, and highly educated women have increasingly better opportunities for formal employment, they may find themselves at the crossroads of conflicting social expectations, and “not eating” may arise as an after-effect. While making large-scale generalizations of these findings across India would be inappropriate, this case study sheds light on the complexity of disordered eating in this country and calls for further ethnographic studies, sensitive to local meanings of (not) eating.

Si è adottato un’approccio che parte dai mercati per realizzare un dibattito sul cibo, sulle persone e sul quotidiano in un contesto di frontiere. L'obiettivo è quello di studiare le culture alimentari (al plurale) del confine Brasile-Paraguay-Argentina attraverso indizi e tracce presenti nei mercati e a questo modo contribuire alla riflessione sulle pratiche fondamentali – sia dal punto di vista fisiologico che sociale – correlate all’alimentazione esistente in questo territorio. I mercati analizzati sono la Feirinha da JK, la Feria de Ciudad del Este e la Feirinha da Argentina. Gli sguardi diretti a questi luoghi, così come i percorsi di questa ricerca, sono stati modellati a partire dagli indizi etnografici delle pratiche quotidiane. Due storici, Ginzburg (1989, 2006, 2007, 2018) e Certeau (2007, 2008), con pizzichi etnografici, costituiscono i miei fondamenti. Invito il lettore a degustare queste pagine seguendo l'ordine di un pasto accademico-intellettuale che comprende i seguenti elementi: l’Antipasto contiene la prefazione alla tesi, presentandone gli obiettivi e la caratterizzazione dell'oggetto della ricerca. Qui vengono anche descrittte le linee guida generali che orientano questa tesi. Il Primo Piatto riporta i percorsi della ricerca in zone di confine e terre più distanti, come l'Italia. Il Secondo Piatto offre al lettore discussioni su fiere e mercati e sui mercati in Brasile. Traccia inoltre un panorama dello spazio di frontiera vissuto e lavorato. Il Contorno è composto dalle storie e dai resoconti delle mie visite ai mercati. Vengono presentati i mercati e le loro caratteristiche, così come le mie impressioni e percezioni di questi spazi. Il Formaggio contiene le ruminazioni e fermentazioni delle storie e dei resoconti sui mercati, e intavola discussioni sulle culture alimentari (al plurale) della frontiera triplice negli spazi considerati. Si conclude con il Dolce, che recupera in modo armonioso qualche elemento delle altre parti di questo pasto accademico, proprio come deve essere un dessert. Con questo studio si spera di registrare, sistematizzare e riflettere sulle scoperte relative a cibi, prodotti alimentari, pratiche, conoscenze, utensili e metodi, nonché alle pratiche quotidiane e alle persone che lavorano e camminano attraverso questi spazi. Mi auguro che questi registri gastronomici, linguistici, monetari e “mercatali”, sistematizzati e ponderati, possano diventare anche riferimento e memoria di questa triplice frontiera. Se opta por un recorte que parte de ferias, para realizar un debate sobre comidas, personas y cotidiano en un contexto de fronteras. Se objetiva estudiar culturas alimentarias (en plural) de la frontera Brasil-Paraguay-Argentina a través de indicios y vestigios en ferias y, de esta manera, contribuir para una reflexión sobre prácticas esenciales – tanto del punto de vista fisiológico cuanto social – relativas a la alimentación existente en este territorio. Las ferias analizadas fueron la Feirinha da JK, la Feria de Ciudad del Este y la Feirinha da Argentina. Las miradas dirigidas para estos locales, tal como los caminos de esta investigación se han moldeado por indicios etnográficos de las prácticas del cotidiano. Dos historiadores, Ginzburg (1989, 2006, 2007, 2018) y Certeau (2007, 2008), con pizcas etnográficas, me apoyan. Invito el lector a degustar estas páginas, siguiendo el orden de una comida académico-intelectual la cual comprende los siguientes puntos: el Antipasto contiene la “prehistoria” de la tesis, enseñando los objetivos y la caracterización del objeto de la investigación. También son presentadas las directrices generales las cuales referencian esta tesis. En el Primo Piatto son relatados los caminos de la investigación en tierras fronterizas y otras más lejanas, como las italianas. El Secondo Piatto regala el lector con discusiones sobre ferias y mercados y sobre las ferias en Brasil. Traza, todavía, un resumen del espacio fronterizo experimentado y trabajado. El Contorno está compuesto de historias y relatos de las tres ferias estudiadas, a partir de mis caminatas. Son presentadas las ferias y sus características, tales como mis impresiones y percepciones de estos espacios. En Formaggio, están los rumiares y fermentaciones hechas a partir de las historias y relatos de esas ferias, propiciando discusiones de las culturas alimentares (en plural) de la triple frontera en los espacios considerados. Se finaliza con el Dolce lo cual recupera elementos de las demás partes de esa comida-académica de forma harmónica, así como un postre debe ser. Se espera, con este estudio, registrar, sistematizar y reflexionar sobre los hallazgos respeto a comidas, productos alimenticios, prácticas, saberes, utensilios y métodos, así como prácticas del cotidiano y de las personas que trabajan y pasean por estos espacios. Se pretende que estos registros gastronómicos, lingüísticos, monetarios y “feriales” sistematizados y pensados puedan también ser fuente y memoria de esta triple frontera. Subject of daily life, food is highlighted in this study and along these lines. We choose a clipping that starts from fairs, to hold a debate about food, people and daily life in a context of borders. The goal is to study food cultures (in plural) from the BrazilParaguay-Argentina border through evidence and traces in fairs and thus contribute to a reflection on essential practices, from both a physiological and a social point of view relating to food in this territory. The fairs analyzed were the Feirinha da JK (Iguassu – Brazil), the Feria de Ciudad del Este (Paraguay) and the Feirinha da Argentina (Iguassu – Argentina). The eyes were fixed to these places, as the paths of this research were being shaped by ethnographic evidence of the daily practices. Two historians, Ginzburg (1989, 2006, 2007, 2018) and Certeau (2007, 2008), with ethnographic hints, support me. I invite the reader to taste these pages, following the order of an intellectualacademic meal comprising the following items: Antipasto contains the “prehistory” of the thesis, showing the objectives and characterization of the research object. Also presented are the general guidelines that reference this thesis. Primo Piatto reports the pathways on the research in frontier and more distant lands, such as Italy. Secondo Piatto offers the reader discussions about fairs and markets in Brazil. It also gives a panorama of the lived and worked frontier space. Contorno is composed of stories and reports from the three fairs studied, from my walks. The fairs and their characteristics are presented, such as my impressions and perceptions of these spaces. In Formaggio, there are ruminars and fermentations made from the stories and reports of these fairs, providing discussions of food cultures (in plural) of the triple frontier in the spaces considered. It ends with Dolce that recovers elements from the rest of this academicmeal harmoniously, just as a dessert should be. It is expected, with this study, to record, to systematize and to reflect on the findings regarding food, food products, practices, knowledge, utensils and methods, as well as daily practices and people who work and walk through these spaces. It is hoped that these systematized and thoughtful gastronomic, linguistic, monetary and fairs records can also be a source and memory of this triple frontier. Optase por um recorte que parte de feiras, para realizar um debate sobre comidas, pessoas e cotidiano em um contexto de fronteiras. Objetiva-se estudar culturas alimentares (no plural) da fronteira Brasil-Paraguai-Argentina por meio de indícios e vestígios em feiras e, assim, contribuir para uma reflexão sobre práticas essenciais – tanto do ponto de vista fisiológico quanto social – relativas à alimentação existente neste território. As feiras analisadas foram a Feirinha da JK, a Feria de Ciudad del Este e a Feirinha da Argentina. Os olhares dirigidos para estes locais, tal como os percursos desta pesquisa foram sendo moldados por indícios etnográficos das práticas do cotidiano. Dois historiadores, Ginzburg (1989, 2006, 2007, 2018) e Certeau (2007, 2008), com pitadas etnográficas, me alicerçam. Convido o leitor a degustar estas páginas, seguindo a ordem de uma refeição acadêmico-intelectual que compreende os seguintes itens: o Antipasto contém a “pré-história” da tese, mostrando os objetivos e a caracterização do objeto da pesquisa. Também são apresentadas as diretrizes gerais que referenciam esta tese. No Primo Piatto são relatados os percursos da pesquisa em terras fronteiriças e outras mais distantes, como as italianas. O Secondo Piatto brinda o leitor com discussões sobre feiras e mercados e sobre as feiras no Brasil. Traça, ainda, um panorama do espaço fronteiriço vivenciado e trabalhado. O Contorno é composto de histórias e relatos das três feiras estudadas, a partir das minhas caminhadas. São apresentadas as feiras e suas características, tais como minhas impressões e percepções destes espaços. No Formaggio, estão os ruminares e fermentações feitas a partir das histórias e relatos dessas feiras, propiciando discussões das culturas alimentares (no plural) da tríplice fronteira nos espaços considerados. Finaliza-se com o Dolce que recupera elementos das demais partes dessa refeição-acadêmica de forma harmônica, assim como uma sobremesa deve ser. Espera-se, com este estudo, registrar, sistematizar e refletir sobre os achados a respeito de comidas, produtos alimentícios, práticas, saberes, utensílios e métodos, bem como práticas do cotidiano e das pessoas que trabalham e passeiam por estes espaços. Almeja-se que estes registros gastronômicos, linguísticos, monetários e “feirais” sistematizados e pensados possam também ser fonte e memória desta tríplice fronteira.

Resumen: En el presente artículo expondremos las emociones ligadas a las prácticas del comer cotidianas de mujeres empleadas de oficinas públicas de la Administración Pública Nacional Argentina, centrándonos en los aportes teóricos de la sociología de los cs/emociones. El presente trabajo parte de una investigación, en donde se buscaba conocer la configuración de las emociones y las prácticas del comer de dichas mujeres. Para ello se realizaron entrevistas en profundidad a mujeres de entre 22 y 56 años con variedad de años de experiencia laboral en oficinas públicas. Como principales resultados, se observa que el asco, la culpa y la vergüenza se constituyen como las emociones ligadas al comer cotidiano a partir de una articulación entre el régimen alimentario y las prácticas del dietar que organizan el comer. Abstract: In this article we will expose the emotions linked to the daily eating practices of women employees of public offices of the Argentine National Public Administration, focusing on the theoretical contributions of the sociology of bodies/emotions. The present work is based on a research, where the aim was to know the configuration of emotions and the eating practices of these women. In order to do so, in-depth interviews were carried out with women between 22 and 56 years old with a variety of years of work experience in public offices. The main results were that disgust, guilt and shame are the emotions linked to daily eating, based on an articulation between the diet and the dietary practices that organize eating. Resumo: Neste artigo, exporemos as emoções ligadas às práticas alimentares diárias de mulheres empregadas em cargos públicos da Administração Pública Nacional Argentina, enfocando as contribuições teóricas da sociologia dos corpos / emoções. O presente trabalho é baseado em uma investigação, na qual queríamos conhecer a configuração das emoções e práticas alimentares dessas mulheres. Para isso, foram realizadas entrevistas em profundidade com mulheres entre 22 e 56 anos de idade, com vários anos de experiência profissional em cargos públicos. Como principais resultados, observa-se que nojo, culpa e vergonha são constituídas como emoções ligadas à alimentação diária a partir de uma articulação entre a dieta e as práticas alimentares que organizam a alimentação.

Eating practices are complex and multidimension­al manifestations which generate cultural norms regarding the ways food should be produced and consumed, and determine patterns of social behaviour and associated representations. Food involves many other activities besides the strictly nutri­tional, and constitutes an important part of wellbeing, both physical and psycho-cultural. This study provides an ethno­graphic work experience on the effects and social implications of participating in agro-ecological consumption groups. We seek to understand the meanings and social representations that motivate people to become part of these groups and at the same time analyse their repercussions, both for an indi­vidual and at a collective level. Moreover, we seek to inquire into the possible social, psychological and economic benefits that such activities bring to their members and the way in which all of this affects social differentiation, feeling of collec­tive identity and sociability. The anthropological view applied to the study of agro-ecological consumption groups allows us to probe the subjective experiences and collective construc­tions of participants, and to gain access to the motivations, practices and values that frame their belonging to said associ­ative structures. Las prácticas alimentarias son manifestaciones complejas y multidimensionales, generadoras de pautas culturales que plantean cómo deben producirse y consumirse los alimentos, al mismo tiempo que determinan patrones de conducta y represen­taciones asociadas. En torno a la alimentación se conjugan muchas otras actividades además de las estrictamente nutricionales y que constituyen una parte importante del bienestar, tanto físico como psicocultural. Este estudio aporta una experiencia de tra­bajo etnográfico sobre los efectos y las implicaciones sociales que conlleva participar en grupos de consumo agroecológico. Pre­tendemos comprender los significados y las representaciones que motivan a las personas a formar parte de estas asociaciones y analizar sus repercusiones tanto individuales como colectivas. Asimismo, buscamos indagar acerca de los posibles beneficios so­ciales, psicológicos y económicos que aportan a sus miembros y el modo en que todo ello incide sobre la diferenciación social, el sentimiento de identidad común y la sociabilidad. La mirada antropológica aplicada a los grupos de consumo agroecológico per­mite profundizar en las experiencias subjetivas y construcciones colectivas de los participantes, accediendo a las motivaciones, prácticas y valores que enmarcan su pertenencia a dichas estructuras asociativas.

Cette étude, fruit d’une approche ethnographique, analyse les aspects psychosociaux et les possibilités politiques d’action et de négociation dans le fonctionnement d’une foire agro-écologique. Au delà de l’observation participante, dix-neuf entretiens ont été menés avec des producteurs et des consommateurs. Ceux entretiens ont permis de construire un réseau de thèmes récurrents et des croisements discursifs sur les relations établies dans la vie quotidienne de cette forme de commerce alimentaire. Le processus de recherche a permis d’analyser les relations dans la foire à partir de deux dimensions centrales: la communauté et le management. Ces aspects se sont montrés liés aux discours environnementaux et aux formes de résistance à l’économie majoritaire et aux pratiques alimentaires industrialisées, en s’opposant à la consommation élitiste et à l’idéalisation du rural. Este estudo, resultado de uma abordagem etnográfica, analisa aspectos psicossociais e possibilidades políticas de agência e negociação no funcionamento de uma feira agroecológica. Além da observação participante, foram realizadas dezenove entrevistas com produtores(as) e consumidores(as) que permitiram construir uma rede de temas recorrentes e atravessamentos discursivos sobre as relações estabelecidas no cotidiano dessa forma de comércio alimentar. O processo de pesquisa possibilitou analisar as relações na feira a partir de duas dimensões centrais: comunitárias e de gestão. Esses aspectos se mostraram articulados a discursos ambientalistas e formas de resistência à economia majoritária e às práticas alimentares industrializadas, tensionando-se com formas de elitização do consumo e idealização do rural. This study, the result of an ethnographic approach, analyzes psychosocial aspects and political possibilities of agency and negotiation in the functioning of an agroecological fair. In addition to participant observation, nineteen interviews were conducted with producers and consumers that allowed the construction of a network of recurring themes and discursive crossings on the relationships established in the daily life of this form of food trade. The research process made it possible to analyze the relations at the fair from two central dimensions: community and management. These aspects were shown to be linked to environmentalist discourses and forms of resistance to the majority economy and industrialized food practices, tending to ways of elitism consumption and idealizing the rural. Este estudio, resultado de un enfoque etnográfico, analiza aspectos psicosociales y posibilidades políticas de agencia y negociación en el funcionamiento de una feria agroecológica. Además de la observación participante, fueron realizadas diecinueve entrevistas con productores(as) y consumidores(as) que permitieron construir una red de temas recurrente y cruces discursivos sobre las relaciones establecidas en el cotidiano de esta forma de comercio alimentar. El proceso de investigación permitió analizar las relaciones en la feria a partir de dos dimensiones centrales: comunitarias y de gestión. Estos aspectos se mostraron articulados a discursos ambientalistas y formas de resistencia a la economía mayoritaria y a las prácticas alimentares industrializadas, tensionándose como forma de elitización del consumo e idealización del rural.
