Abstract

Inclusive cross sections $\sigma^A=Ed^3{\sigma(X,P_t^2)/d^3p}$ of antiproton and negative pion production on Be, Al, Cu and Ta targets hit by 10 GeV protons were measured at the laboratory angles of 10.5$^{\circ}$ and 59$^{\circ}$. Antiproton cross sections were obtained in both kinematically allowed and kinematically forbidden regions for antiproton production on a free nucleon. The antiproton cross section ratio as a function of the longitudinal variable $X$ exhibits three separate plateaus which gives evidence for the existence of compact baryon configurations in nuclei-small-distance scaled objects of nuclear structure. Comparability of the measured cross section ratios with those obtained in the inclusive electron scattering off nuclei suggests a weak antiproton absorption in nuclei. Observed behavior of the cross section ratios is interpreted in the framework of a model considering the hadron production as a fragmentation of quarks (antiquarks) into hadrons. It has been established that the antiproton formation length in nuclear matter can reach the magnitude of 4.5 fm.

Abstract

The differential production cross sections of K^+ and K^- mesons have been measured at the ITEP proton synchrotron in p+Be, p+Cu collisions under lab angle of 10.5^0, respectively, at 1.7 and 2.25, 2.4 GeV beam energies. A detailed comparison of these data with the results of calculations within an appropriate folding model for incoherent primary proton-nucleon, secondary pion-nucleon kaon and antikaon production processes and processes associated with the creation of antikaons via the decay of intermediate phi mesons is given. We show that the strangeness exchange process YN->NNK^- gives a small contribution to the antikaon yield in the kinematics of the performed experiment. We argue that in the case when antikaon production processes are dominated by the channels with KK^- in the final state, the cross sections of the corresponding reactions are weakly influenced by the in-medium kaon and antikaon mean fields., Comment: 24 pages. accepted for publication at J.Phys.G

4. Study of in-medium $\omega$ meson properties in Ap, pA and AA collisions

Abstract

We propose to investigate the in-medium properties of vector $\omega$ mesons at the normal nuclear density in Ap(pA) collisions and at higher density in AA collisions at the ITEP accelerator facility TWAC. Using of the inverse Ap kinematics will permit us to study the $\omega$ meson production in a wide momentum interval included the not yet explored range of small meson momenta relative to the projectile nuclei where the mass modification effect in nuclear matter is expected to be the strongest. Momentum dependence of the in-medium $\omega$ meson width will be studied in the traditional pA kinematics. We intend to use the electromagnetic calorimeter for reconstruction of the $\omega$ meson invariant mass by detecting photons from the $\omega \to \pi^{0}\gamma \to 3\gamma$ decay. The model calculations and simulations with RQMD generator show feasibility of the proposed experiment. Available now intensity of the ion beams provides a possibility to collect large statistics and make decisive conclusion about the $\omega$ meson properties at density of normal nuclei. At the second stage of the investigation the $\omega$ meson properties will be studied in AA collisions at higher density. Interpretation of these measurements will be based on the results obtained in Ap(pA) interactions. Further investigation of the in-medium properties of light unflavored and charmed mesons can be performed at ITEP and at GSI(FAIR) where higher ion energies will be accessible in near future., Comment: 26 pages, 10 figures, 2 tables

Abstract

In this work we explore the possibility to perform ``effective energy'' studies in very high energy collisions at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC). In particular, we focus on the possibility to measure in $pp$ collisions the average charged multiplicity as a function of the effective energy with the ALICE experiment, using its capability to measure the energy of the leading baryons with the Zero Degree Calorimeters. Analyses of this kind have been done at lower centre--of--mass energies and have shown that, once the appropriate kinematic variables are chosen, particle production is characterized by universal properties: no matter the nature of the interacting particles, the final states have identical features. Assuming that this universality picture can be extended to {\it ion--ion} collisions, as suggested by recent results from RHIC experiments, a novel approach based on the scaling hypothesis for limiting fragmentation has been used to derive the expected charged event multiplicity in $AA$ interactions at LHC. This leads to scenarios where the multiplicity is significantly lower compared to most of the predictions from the models currently used to describe high energy $AA$ collisions. A mean charged multiplicity of about 1000-2000 per rapidity unit (at $\eta \sim 0$) is expected for the most central $Pb-Pb$ collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}} = 5.5 TeV$., Comment: 12 pages, 19 figures. Abstract

Introduction. With the development of humanistic attitudes in society, the importance of issues related to the subjective well-being of the individual increases. It is important not only how successful a person is at work or in educational activities, but also how well he/she feels. The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly changed the learning environment for university students. The study of the factors of subjective well-being of students expands the instrumental capabilities of psychological support during the pandemic. In the case of a repetition of a similar situation, this knowledge will be useful for helping students, and potentially a wider circle of people, to maintain subjective well-being. Aim. The present research aimed to investigate the subjective well-being of students of psychological and pedagogical directions of universities during the pandemic with an emphasis on its emotional component. Methodology and research methods. The research methodology is based on the subjective approach, which considers a student as an active subject, capable of successfully adapting to the changed conditions of an educational activity. In the course of the research, the authors identified the interrelationships of subjective well-being, its semantic markers and self-organisation to expand the possibilities of diagnosing subjective well-being and maintaining it during the periods of extreme social situations, as well as to use semantic markers for self-analysis. To assess subjective well-being, three methods were applied. Self-assessment of satisfaction with one’s condition on a 10-point scale was carried out according to the following parameters: sleep, food, communication with family, communication with friends, studies, hobbies, and mood. The authors employed the scale of subjective well-being (by А. Perrudet-Badoux, G. Mendelsohn, J. Chiche, adapted by M. V. Sokolova) and psychosemantic characteristics of the subjective attitude to the situation of distance learning at the university due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To assess the ability of students to organise themselves in the changed learning conditions, the questionnaire of self-organisation of activities (N. T. Feather и M. J. Bond, adapted by E. Yu. Mandrikova) was used. The study involved 406 students between the ages of 18 and 45 years (383 women and 23 men) studying in the areas of psychology and pedagogy at the University of Tyumen and State Kurgan State University. For statistical analysis of the research data, the Mann-Whitney U Test and correlation analysis were used. Results. It was found that the ability to self-organise leads to higher subjective well-being, and this, in turn, stimulates self-organisation. Semantic markers of subjective well-being associated with educational activities during the pandemic, such as comfortable and uncomfortable, interesting and uninteresting, tired and vigorous, were highlighted. The authors revealed objective parameters associated with self-organisation and subjective well-being, namely sleep disturbances. This can lead to the fact that there is not enough daytime and the student works at night, thereby resulting in the disturbance of night sleep, and consequently – poor self-organisation. Scientific novelty. The parameters of subjective well-being and self-organisation of students in a new, extreme social situation, during the COVID-19 pandemic are considered. Practical significance. The data obtained can be used to develop a strategy for teaching students in a pandemic situation and forced self-isolation, as well as to increase subjective well-being in a new social situation. The research results can be applied in psychodiagnostics for a more complete interpretation of the parameters of subjective well-being, as well as for the use of the identified relationships in the programmes of psychological support for students of psychological and pedagogical specialities. Semantic markers of subjective well-being that have received empirical justification can be employed to create a diagnostic scale. Введение. По мере развития гуманистических установок в обществе возрастает значимость вопросов связанных с субъективным благополучием личности. Важно не только то, насколько человек успешен на производстве или в учебной деятельности, но и то насколько он себя хорошо чувствует. Эпидемия COVID-19 существенно изменила условия обучения студентов университетов. Изучение факторов субъективного благополучия студентов расширяет инструментальные возможности психологического сопровождения в период эпидемии. В случае повторения аналогичной ситуации, эти знания будут полезны для оказания помощи студентам, а потенциально и более широкому кругу людей сохранить субъективное благополучие. Цель статьи – исследование субъективного благополучия студентов психолого-педагогических направлений университетов во время пандемии с акцентом на его эмоциональный компонент. Методология, методы и методики исследования. Методологией исследования являлся субъектный подход, рассматривающий студента как активного субъекта, способного успешно адаптироваться к изменившимся условиям учебной деятельности. В ходе исследования выявлялись взаимосвязи субъективного благополучия, его семантических маркеров и самоорганизации, что позволяет расширить возможности диагностики субъективного благополучия и его поддержание в периоды экстремальных социальных ситуаций, а также использовать семантические маркеры для самоанализа. Для оценки субъективного благополучия использовались следующие методики: Самооценка удовлетворенности своим состоянием по 10-балльной шкале по следующим параметрам: сон, питание, общение с семьей, общение с друзьями, учеба, хобби, настроение. Шкала субъективного благополучия (А. Perrudet-Badoux, G. Mendelsohn, J. Chiche, в адаптации М. В. Соколовой) и психосемантическая характеристика субъективного отношения к ситуации дистантного обучения в вузе по причине пандемии по COVID-19. Для оценки способности студентов организовать себя в изменившихся условиях обучения применялся опросник самоорганизации деятельности (N. T. Feather и M. J. Bond, в адаптации Е. Ю. Мандриковой). В исследовании приняли участие 406 студентов, обучающиеся на направлениях психологии и педагогики в Тюменском государственном университет и Курганском государственном университете в возрасте от 18 до 45 лет, из них 383 женщины и 23 мужчины. Для статистического анализа данных исследования использовались критерий Манна – Уитни (U) и корреляционный анализ. Результаты. Установлено, что способность к самоорганизации приводит к более высокому субъективному благополучию, и это в свою очередь стимулирует самоорганизацию. Выделены семантические маркеры субъективного благополучия, связанные с учебной деятельностью в период пандемии, такие как удобный и неудобный, интересный и неинтересный, усталый и бодрый. Выявлены объективные параметры, связанные с самоорганизацией и субъективным благополучием, а именно: нарушения режима сна. Это может привести к тому, что дневного времени не хватает и студент работает ночью, а нарушение ночного сна в свою очередь негативно сказывается на самоорганизации. Научная новизна. Рассматриваются параметры субъективного благополучия и самоорганизации студентов в новой, экстремальной социальной ситуации, в период пандемии COVID-19. Практическая значимость. Полученные данные могут быть использованы для разработки стратегии обучения студентов в ситуации пандемии и вынужденной самоизоляии, а так же для повышения субъективного благополучия в новой социальной ситуации. Результаты могут быть применены в психодиагностике для более полной интерпретации параметров субъективного благополучия, а также для создания программ психологического сопровождения студентов психолого-педагогических направлений. Семантические маркеры субъективного благополучия, получившие эмпирическое обоснование, могут быть использованы для конструирования диагностической шкалы. Статья поступила в редакцию 26.01.2023 г. Проанализированы данные о половых различиях в суицидальных намерениях в связи с параметрами эмоционально-волевой сферы. К показателям эмоциональной сферы относятся стресс, настроение, оптимизм. Показателями суицидальных намерений являются суицидальные мысли и планы, а также суицидальные попытки (опросники М. Перре и др.). Выявлены статистически значимые различия в показателе суицидальных намерений между юношами и девушками. Уровень суицидальных намерений у девушек выше. Более высокий показатель суицидальных намерений у девушек может быть объяснен различиями в параметрах эмоционально-волевой сферы личности. In the framework of the study data on gender differences in suicidal intentions in connection with the parameters of the emotional volitional sphere are analyzed. The indicators of the emotional sphere include stress, mood, optimism. Indicators of suicidal intentions are suicidal thoughts and plans, as well as suicidal attempts. (questionnaires M. Perret and others). Statistically significant differences in the indicator of suicidal intentions between boys and girls were revealed. The level of suicidal intentions among girls is higher. A higher indicator of suicidal intentions among girls can be explained by differences in the parameters of the emotional-volitional sphere of the personality.

Abstract

Анализируются изменения религиозности личности с возрастом. Эмпирически установлено, что религиозность личности возрастает по мере увеличения возраста. Уточняется возрастная динамика различных компонентов, составляющих общую религиозность личности. Некоторые измерения религиозности, такие как измерение религиозных знаний и социальное измерение, не изменяются с возрастом. Показана необходимость изучения возрастных изменений религиозности на российской выборке. Рассмотрены возможные направления дальнейших исследований религиозности пожилых людей. Changes in the religiosity of a person with age are analyzed. It has been empirically established that a person’s religiosity increases with age. The age-related dynamics of various components that make up the general religiosity of a person are specified. Some dimensions of religiosity, such as the dimension of religious knowledge and the social dimension, do not change with age. The necessity of studying age-related changes in religiosity in the Russian sample is shown. Possible directions for further research on the religiosity of the elderly are considered.

Abstract

Interrelations of personal qualities and suicidal intentions of university students are analyzed on the example of volitional qualities. Relationships with suicidal intentions of both individual volitional qualities and the general indicator of the development of the emotional-volitional sphere are empirically revealed. It is shown that the level of development of volitional qualities negatively correlates with suicidal intentions of students. A group of students with suicidal thoughts at the time of the study demonstrates a lower level of volitional qualities. Programs for the development of the emotional-volitional sphere of the personality are promising from the point of view of the prevention of suicidality among young people. Анализируются взаимосвязи личностных качеств и суицидальных намерений студентов университета на примере волевых качеств. Эмпирически выявляются взаимосвязи с суицидальными намерениями как отдельных волевых качеств, так и общего показателя развития эмоционально-волевой сферы. Показано, что уровень развития волевых качеств отрицательно коррелирует с суицидальными намерениями студентов. Группа студентов, имеющих суицидальные мысли в момент исследования, демонстрирует более низкий уровень выраженности волевых качеств. Программы развития эмоционально-волевой сферы личности перспективны с точки зрения профилактики суицидальности в молодежной среде.

Abstract

Introduction. The article compares psychological characteristics of education based on individual instruction techniques and on whole-class instruction techniques. Implementation of new educational technologies should be complemented by an analysis of their effectiveness within various areas of training. Psychological characteristics including professional motivation, professional identity, and choosing various forms of professional activities are important prerequisites for the effectiveness of professional training. The purpose of the article is to conduct an empirical analysis of psychological characteristics of whole-class instruction and individualized techniques for students pursuing undergraduate psychology degrees. Materials and Methods. The authors have employed the following research methods: Vaysman's cognitive and professional motives questionnaire (modified by N. A. Bakshaeva, A. A. Verbitsky); N. A. Bakshaeva and A. A. Verbitsky's self-assessment inventory of educational, cognitive and professional motives; U. S. Rodygina's Student Professional Identity Questionnaire; Questionnaire of professional activities attractiveness for psychology students. Mathematical and statistical methods included descriptive statistics and Mann-Whitney U-test. Results. The authors summarized empirical data and revealed the characteristics of professional motivation and professional identity of psychology students, taking into account various educational technologies. The authors analyzed students' preferences for various types of professional activities, as well as relevant types of activities which support professional activities of psychology students. As a result, the authors compared psychological characteristics of training psychology students within the whole-class system and using individualized educational technologies. Conclusions. Within the framework of educational reforms, universities build different models for the organization of educational process. Based on empirical data, it is shown that individualized instruction technologies enhance students' psychological direction of professional motivation and professional identity. © 2020 Science for Education Today.

Abstract

Представлены данные о взаимосвязи некоторых аспектов семейных отношений и характеристик личности родителей. В исследовании приняли участие 180 человек, имеющих детей в возрасте до 16 лет. Для изучения взаимосвязи психологических характеристик семьи и личностных особенностей использовалась батарея тестов М. Перре. Осуществлен перевод тестов, апробация на русскоязычной выборке и проверка некоторых тестометрических параметров. Была установлена связь личностных особенностей родителей с методами наказания и удовлетворенностью различными аспектами семейной жизни. The article presents data about the interrelation between some aspects of family relations and parents’ personality characteristics. The study involved 180 people who have children under the age of 16 years. To examine the relationship of the psychological characteristics of family and personal characteristics used the battery of tests by M. Perret. Abstract

Рассматриваются теоретические основания для изучения эмоциональных и волевых процессов в их единстве. Предлагается технология исследования эмоциональной составляющей волевого усилия, преодолевающая недостатки ретроспективных методов. Эмпирическим путем выделяются типы волевого усилия в зависимости от особенностей их эмоционального компонента. Выявляется связь эффективности волевого усилия и особенностей его эмоциональной составляющей. Показаны индивидуальные особенности волевого усилия по параметру его эмоциональности. Показана особая роль эмоции интереса в механизме волевой регуляции. The article adresses the problem of effective interaction betwen emotion and will. Basing on the fact that understanding each other is a nessary condition for effective interaction, the autor conducts an ampirical verification of notion of will and defines the notions of strong-willed and weak-willed person. 27. Greenbug (<italic>Schizaphis graminum</italic>) resistance in oat (<italic>Avena</italic> spp.) landraces from Asia.

Abstract

Among 371 oat accessions from the world collection of the Vavilov Institute of Plant Genetic Resources (VIR) mostly represented by the landraces from Asia (Maritime Territory of Russian Federation, Mongolia, China, Japan, North Korea, India, Iran, Afghanistan, and Bhutan) ninety five were heterogeneous for resistance to the North Caucasus populations of the greenbug (Schizaphis graminum Rondani). Damage ratings of resistance in 47 accessions were high, low level of resistance was identified in 48 genotypes. Higher frequency of greenbug resistant accessions (60.5%) was found among landraces from Mongolia. Lines with high expression of the resistance were selected from seven landraces with wide range of damage ratings. North Caucasus populations of S. graminum from Krasnodar area and Dagestan significantly differ by the frequencies of virulence to host plant. Seven virulence phenotypes differentially interacting with oat genotypes were found in the Krasnodar population and 10 phenotypes were revealed in the Dagestan population. Results of the experiments with the greenbug test clones revealed that all the lines selected from the accessions VIR-2490, VIR-2539, VIR-4074, VIR-12213, VIR-12214 (Mongolia), VIR-6688 (India) and VIR-13624 (North Korea) are protected by diverse alleles of resistance genes which differ from the earlier identified gene Grb3. These lines are supposed to have aphid resistance genes nonidentical to the Grb1 and Grb2. The accessions VIR-6688, VIR-4074 and VIR-12214 possess high resistance to Krasnodar and Dagestan greenbug populations and the accession VIR-13624 is protected by the most effective gene (genes) of resistance to the both populations from North Caucasus. Abstract

The ϕ → K + K – decay channel in Pb-Pb collisions at LHC is studied through a full simulation of the ALICE detector. The study focuses on possible signatures in this channel of quark-gluon plasma (QGP) formation. On a basis of 106 collisions at high centrality some proposed QGP signatures are clearly visible both in K + K – invariant mass and transverse mass distributions. The high significance of this observation appears to reside heavily on the use of the TOF (Time Of Flight) system of ALICE in addition to its central tracking detectors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

The article presents information on the efforts of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) Ministry of Public Health and the Presidium of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences to control polio myelitis. It states that the Soviet Union through a large-scale program of 100% immunization of the entire susceptible population aims to eradicate the disease. It mentions that the international cooperation of scientists had led to the development of several effective live polio vaccines which are being used in USSR including Peroral immunization. Data and statistics related to the issue is also provided.

Abstract

Despite the certainty concerning viral etiology of hemorrhagic fever in Uzbekistan, N. I. Khodukin and his colleagues were not able to obtain convincing evidence to prove their theory; experiments of inoculating rabbits and employing thus obtained antigens and immune sera in Complement fixation test, may produce unspecific (false positive) results. It was impossible to decide with certainty the problem of viral etiology of the Crimean hemorrhagic type of illness without observations carried out on people. However, recently with the invention of a new technique of cultivation and identification of the Crimean hemorrhagic fever virus, it became possible to explain the interrelation between Crimean hemorrhagic fever and other illnesses of this type encountered in Central Asiatic republics, in Kazakhstan, and in other countries., Trans. of Akademiya Meditsinskikh Nauk SSSR. Abstract

Valuable material was collected concerning the clinical, laboratory, pathomorphological and epidemiological characteristics of Omsk disease. It was demonstrated that steppe ticks, Dermacentor pictus, which were collected in the regions where there were cases of Omsk fever, contain the virus of Omsk fever and therefore may be sources of infection for man, whom they attack. Immunity to Omsk fever was developed in those who were vaccinated with the killed virus, which makes it possible to make practical use of vaccinated to combat this disease. Experiments on monkeys, mice, and others testified to the absence of cross immunological reactions between the virus of Omsk fever and that of Crimean hemorrhagic fever and, therefore to the etiological individuality of each of these infections, which appeared similar, but are not identical to each other. Experiments on cross immunity in guinea pigs and the results obtained from regular pathological investigations established a clear differentiation between the virus of Omsk fever and the filtrable virus of the rickettsial type such as Q-fever or the so-called 'atypical virus pneumonia.' A practical method of sero-diagnosis of separate cases of Omsk fever and diseases suspected to be Omsk fever was established by using complement fixation reactions and neutralization tests of the virus with specific serum., Trans. of Akademiya Nauk Meditsinskikh Nauk SSSR. Abstract

Hyperimmune sera in the plaque neutralization test in chick embryo cell cultures produced no antigenic relationships between the new isolate and viruses of Kemerovo tick-borne fever, tick-borne and Japanese encephalitis, WEE, CTF, and herpes simplex virus. The data so far are incomplete evidence of the study of arbovirus isolated from man. Its peculiar behavior in different tissue cultures, almost complete absence of pathogenicity for mice, other laboratory animals, and chick embryos, significant cytopathic effect in inoculated tissue cultures, absence of cross neutralization with viruses isolated in Kemerovo region, and with some other viruses, permit the conclusion that this agent is another independent arbovirus found in western Siberia., s of papers of the Scientific Conference of the Institute of Poliomyelitis and Encephalitis (11th), Moscow, p13-4.

Abstract

A study was made of the regularities of formation and the dynamics of homologous and heterologous antihemagglutinins, developing after immunization of animals with the eastern and western strains of tick-borne encephalitis and the viruses of Scotland encephalomyelitis of sheep, Omsk hemorrhagic fever, Kyasanur forest disease, Langat, Powassan and Negishi. The differences in the dynamics of homologous and heterologous antihemagglutinins after hypo- and hyperimmunization and reimmunization bear a quantitative nature. Immunization with any strain of tick-borne encephalitis virus leads to the formation of antihemagglutinating antibodies on an equal level to all the remaining strains related to this virus. There is a simultaneous formation of antibodies to all the other representatives of this group, but in lower titers. For the viruses of Omsk hemorrhagic fever, Langat, Scotland encephalomyelitis of sheep and Negishi the difference in titers of antibodies reach large differences, if the antibodies are determined against the viruses of Kyasanur forest disease (3--5 log) and especially Powassan (5--7 log). Immunization with any other virus of the subgroup, except Powassan, also leads to the appearance of antibodies to the remaining representatives of the complex. Abstract

The investigations and analysis of data allow us to conclude that a Crimean hemorrhagic fever focus exists in Rostov region. It is associated with the northeastern slopes of the Donets ridge and the Severny Donets floodplains. The Crimean hemorrhagic fever focus borders continue to expand. The most effective prophylactic measures against Crimean hemorrhagic fever are: (a) Personal prophylactic measures, preventing tick bites of humans and Crimean hemorrhagic fever virus infiltration by other means, and increased sanitary training among the population. (b) Systematic continuous acaricide chemical treatment of cattle against tick infestation should be carried out by the veterinary service during April to August. (c) Maintenance of a sanitary-epidemiological routine in medical institutions to prevent the infection inside them. (Author)

Abstract

Serially cultured laboratory strains of the agent of HFRS were obtained. At present, 13 strains of the virus of hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome are being maintained in cellular cultures. New possibilities have been opened for the study of the role played by murine rodents in relation to epidemiology and epizootology of HFRS owing to development of cultural technique for investigation of HFRS virus. Abstract

In 2 observations (1955), the application of pyrogenic therapy to mental patients, by inoculating sera from hemorrhagic fever patients, made it possible to reproduce this peculiar illness with relatively moderate hemorrhagic syndrome. This not only demonstrated viral etiology of the CHF type of illness encountered in Astrakhan Oblast, but also confirmed the noticable similarity if not same identity between the clinical picture of the experimentally induced illness and the Astrakhan and Crimean cases of hemorrhagic fever. Supplementary data obtained in this manner, show the presence of Crimean hemorrhagic fever in Astrakhan Oblast. Abstract

The object of the study was the professional identity of students in the psychological areas of the university. The subject of the study was the relationship between professional identity and personal qualities of students. The master's thesis consists of an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, a list of references (110 sources) and an appendix, which includes forms of the methods used. The volume of the master's thesis is 88 pages, which contain 11 figures and 11 tables. The introduction reveals the relevance of the research problem, the development of the problem, sets the goal and objectives of the study, defines the object and subject of the study, formulates the main and additional hypotheses, indicates the methods and empirical base, as well as the stages of the study, scientific novelty, theoretical and practical significance of the work. The first chapter includes a review of foreign and domestic literature on the topic of theoretical foundations for the study of student professional identity. Sections devoted to the study of the concepts of identity, psychological well-being, reflexivity, self-organization, resilience are presented. The conclusions on the first chapter are the results of the study of theoretical material. The second chapter is devoted to the empirical part of the study. It presents a description of the organization and methods of the study and the results obtained by all the methods used: the Questionnaire of the professional identity of psychology students by U. S. Rodygina, the scale of psychological well-being by K. Riff, the questionnaire of reflexivity by A. V. Karpov, the questionnaire of self-organization of activity by N. Feather and M. Bond, methodology for studying the motivation of a professional career E. Shane, S. Muddy's hardiness test. The chapter also presents a correlation analysis of the results of the study. Chapter 2's conclusions include the main findings of the empirical study. In conclusion, the results of the theoretical and empirical parts of the work, as well as conclusions on them, are summarized, the practical significance of the study is substantiated, and possible prospects for further development of this issue are described. Объектом исследования явилась профессиональная идентичность студентов психологических направлений университета. Предметом исследования стала взаимосвязь профессиональной идентичности и личностных качеств студентов. Магистерская диссертация состоит из введения, двух глав, заключения, списка литературы (110 источников) и приложения, включающего в себя бланки применявшихся методик. 49. Gene Expression in Parthenogenic Maize Proembryos.

Abstract

Angiosperm plants reproduce both sexually and asexually (by apomixis). In apomictic plants, the embryo and endosperm develop without fertilization. Modern maize seems to have a broken apomixis-triggering mechanism, which still works in Tripsacum and in Tripsacum -maize hybrids. For the first time, maize lines characterized by pronounced and inheritable high-frequency maternal parthenogenesis were generated 40 years ago, but there are no data on gene expression in parthenogenic maize proembryos. Here we examined for the first time gene expression in parthenogenic proembryos isolated from unpollinated embryo sacs (ESs) of a parthenogenic maize line (AT-4). The DNA-methylation genes ( dmt103 , dmt105 ) and the genes coding for the chromatin-modifying enzymes ( chr106 , hdt104 , hon101 ) were expressed much higher in parthenogenic proembryos than in unpollinated ESs. The expression of the fertilization-independent endosperm ( fie1 ) genes was found for the first time in parthenogenic proembryos and unpollinated ESs. In parthenogenic proembryos, the Zm&#95;fie2 gene was expressed up to two times higher than it was expressed in unpollinated ESs.

Abstract

VirE2 from Agrobacterium tumefaciens is a single-stranded (ss) DNA-binding protein involved in delivery of ssT-DNA (single-stranded transfer DNA) from the agrobacterial Ti plasmid into the eukaryotic cell nucleus. The crystallized part of VirE2 was studied by X-ray diffraction, and the noncrystallized parts of the C- (40 amino acid residues [aars]) and N- (111 aars) termini of the protein, which are presumably disordered, were evaluated by computational methods. We did a molecular dynamics simulation of VirE2 without VirE1 and observed no large changes in domain orientation. The interaction of VirE2 with ssDNA and formation of ssDNA-VirE2 complexes in silico were studied. We also used computer-aided methods to design model complexes consisting from two- and four-subunit VirE2 proteins. We examined the implication of disordered sites in formation of two- and four-subunit VirE2 complexes. Formation of VirE2 dimers and tetramers within ssDNA-VirE2 complexes was demonstrated by computational methods. Using the Platinum program, we found that hydrophilic amino acids were predominant on the surface of the four-subunit VirE2 complex.
