Blackbody‐sensitive uncooled infrared photodetectors with ultra‐broadband and ultrafast photoresponse have a profound impact on many areas of modern science and technology. However, it is a big challenge for both traditional photodetectors and emerging low‐dimensional ones to simultaneously have all the above characteristics. Here, this challenge is addressed by establishing a Te/WTe2 heterostructure photodetector. The built‐in field of the heterostructure and the crossing conduction and valence bands of WTe2 jointly result in a high responsivity and a visible‐to‐long‐wavelength‐infrared photoresponse range. The peak responsivity (at the 3.3 µm wavelength) reaches 914 mA W−1 at zero bias and 8.51 A W−1 at 2 V bias. Further, the joint action coupled with the high mobility of Te and WTe2 promotes the 3‐dB bandwidth to 153 kHz. The self‐powered blackbody responsivity and specific detectivity reach 235.7 mA W−1 and 1.1 × 108 cm Hz1/2 W−1, respectively. The former increases to 5.82 A W−1 at 1 V bias. Moreover, this device is polarization‐sensitive with a contrast ratio of 2. INTRODUCTION: More robust non‐human primate models of Alzheimer's disease (AD) will provide new opportunities to better understand the pathogenesis and progression of AD. METHODS: We designed a CRISPR/Cas9 system to achieve precise genomic deletion of exon 9 in cynomolgus monkeys using two guide RNAs targeting the 3′ and 5′ intron sequences of PSEN1 exon 9. We performed biochemical, transcriptome, proteome, and biomarker analyses to characterize the cellular and molecular dysregulations of this non‐human primate model. RESULTS: We observed early changes of AD‐related pathological proteins (cerebrospinal fluid Aβ42 and phosphorylated tau) in PSEN1 mutant (ie, PSEN1‐ΔE9) monkeys. Blood transcriptome and proteome profiling revealed early changes in inflammatory and immune molecules in juvenile PSEN1‐ΔE9 cynomolgus monkeys. DISCUSSION: PSEN1 mutant cynomolgus monkeys recapitulate AD‐related pathological protein changes, and reveal early alterations in blood immune signaling. Thus, this model might mimic AD‐associated pathogenesis and has potential utility for developing early diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. Objective: To compare the clinical efficacy of febuxostat combined with a low‐purine diet versus allopurinol combined with a low‐purine diet in the treatment of gout. Method s : In this prospective controlled trial, 98 gout patients admitted to our hospital from February 2021 to December 2022 were enrolled as study subjects. Patients were randomly assigned to the study group (febuxostat combined with a low‐purine diet) and the control group (allopurinol combined with a low‐purine diet), with 49 patients in each group. The therapeutic effect was evaluated based on joint function and serum uric acid levels after treatment, and classified into three levels: markedly effective, effective, and ineffective. The levels of inflammatory factors, including tumor necrosis factor‐a (TNF‐a), cytokine interleukin‐1beta (IL‐1β), and interleukin (IL)‐18 (IL‐18), were collected. The Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) was used to assess the degree of pain in patients. Clinical indicators before and 6 months after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results: There was no statistically significant difference in age and gender between the two groups. After 6 months of treatment, the effective rate in the study group (48 cases, 97.96%) was higher than that in the control group (42 cases, 85.71%), with a statistically significant difference (p =.027). At the same time, the study group had significantly lower levels of serum uric acid (162.39 μmol/L ± 17.23 μmol/L vs. S198.32 μmol/L ± 18.34 μmol/L, p <.001), creatinine (87.39 mmol/L ± 9.76 mmol/L vs. 92.18 mmol/L ± 9.27 mmol/L, p =.014), total cholesterol (3.65 mmol/L ± 0.65 mmol/L vs. 4.76 mmol/L ± 0.73 mmol/L, p <.001), and triglycerides (1.76 mmol/L ± 0.32 mmol/L vs. 2.28 mmol/L ± 0.41 mmol/L, p <.001) compared to the control group, with statistically significant differences (p <.05). After treatment, the levels of inflammatory factors and degree of pain in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group (all p <.05). During the treatment process, the incidence of adverse reactions in the study group (2 cases, 4.08%) was lower than that in the control group (9 cases, 18.37%), with a statistically significant difference (p =.025). Conclusion: Febuxostat combined with a low‐purine diet can reduce inflammatory factors and alleviate the degree of pain in gout patients, significantly improving their clinical symptoms. Background: Abnormal lipid metabolism is involved in the development of osteoarthritis (OA). ATP‐binding cassette protein G1 (ABCG1) is crucial in mediating the outflow of cholesterol, phosphatidylcholine and sphingomyelin and reducing intracellular lipid accumulation. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate whether ABCG1 participates in the abnormal adipogenesis of chondrocytes in osteoarthritic cartilage of temporomandibular joint. Methods: Eight‐week‐old female rats were subjected to unilateral anterior crossbite (UAC) to induce OA in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). Histochemical staining, immunohistochemical (IHC) staining, and qRT–PCR were performed. Primary condylar chondrocytes of rats were transfected with ABCG1 shRNA or overexpression lentivirus and then stimulated with fluid flow shear stress (FFSS). Cells were collected for oil red O staining, immunofluorescence staining, and qRT–PCR analysis. Results: Abnormal adipogenesis, characterized by increased expression of Adiponectin, CCAAT/enhancer‐binding protein α (Cebpα), fatty acid binding protein 4 (Fabp4) and Perilipin1, was enhanced in the degenerative cartilage of TMJ OA in rats with UAC, accompanied by decreased expression of ABCG1. After FFSS stimulation, we observed lipid droplets in the cytoplasm of cultured cells with increased expression of Adiponectin, Cebpα, Fabp4 and Perilipin1 and decreased expression of ABCG1. Knockdown of Abcg1 induced abnormal adipogenesis and differentiation of condylar chondrocytes. Overexpression of ABCG1 alleviated the abnormal adipogenesis and differentiation of condylar chondrocytes induced by FFSS. Conclusions: Abnormal adipogenesis of chondrocytes and decreased ABCG1 expression were observed in degenerative cartilage of TMJ OA. ABCG1 overexpression effectively inhibits the adipogenesis of chondrocytes and thus alleviates TMJ condylar cartilage degeneration. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Heterotopic ossification (HO) comprises the abnormal formation of ectopic bone in extraskeletal soft tissue. The factors that initiate HO remain elusive. Herein, we found that calcified apoptotic vesicles (apoVs) led to increased calcification and stiffness of tendon extracellular matrix (ECM), which initiated M2 macrophage polarization and HO progression. Specifically, single‐cell transcriptome analyses of different stages of HO revealed that calcified apoVs were primarily secreted by a PROCR+ fibroblast population. In addition, calcified apoVs enriched calcium by annexin channels, absorbed to collagen I via electrostatic interaction, and aggregated to produce calcifying nodules in the ECM, leading to tendon calcification and stiffening. More importantly, apoV‐releasing inhibition or macrophage deletion both successfully reversed HO development. Thus, we are the first to identify calcified apoVs from PROCR+ fibroblasts as the initiating factor of HO, and might serve as the therapeutic target for inhibiting pathological calcification. The first total synthesis of incarnatapeptins A and B, two novel marine natural products, was accomplished from readily available (S)‐1‐benzyloxycarbonylhexahydropyridazine‐3‐carboxylic acid. This route, whose longest linear sequence was 12 steps, provided the incarnatapeptins A and B in yields of 26.5 % and 19.7 %, respectively, and enabled the structure and stereochemistry of both natural products to be unambiguously confirmed. Highlights of our synthesis include the photoredox‐mediated decarboxylative 1,4‐addition reaction and a novel and practical N‐acylation paradigm promoted by silver carbonate. Flexible perovskite solar cells (FPSCs) with excellent recoverability show a wide range of potential applications in portable power sources. The recoverability of FPSCs requires outstanding bendability of each functional layer, including the flexible substrates, electrodes, perovskite light absorbers, and charge transport materials. This review highlights the recent progress and practical applications of high‐recoverability FPSCs, and illustrates the routes toward improvement of the recoverability and environmental stability through the choice of flexible substrates and the preparation of high‐quality perovskite films, as well as the optimization of charge‐selective contacts. In addition, we explore the intrinsic properties of each functional layer from the physical perspective and analyze how to select suitable functional layers. Additionally, some effective strategies are summarized, including material modification engineering of selective contacts, additives and interface engineering of interlayers, which can release mechanical stress and increase the power‐conversion efficiency (PCE) and recoverability of the FPSCs. The challenges of making high‐performance FPSCs with long‐term stability and high recoverability are discussed. Finally, future applications and perspectives for FPSCs are discussed, aiming to promote more extensive commercialization processes for lightweight and durable FPSCs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: We undertook this study to analyze whole blood gene expression and to investigate the role of B cell genes in primary Sjögren's syndrome–related non‐Hodgkin lymphoma (primary SS‐NHL). Methods: Peripheral whole blood samples were collected from 345 well‐phenotyped patients with primary SS enrolled in the prospective Assessment of Systemic Signs and Evolution in Sjögren's Syndrome (ASSESS) cohort. Transcriptomic analysis was performed using human Clariom S Arrays (Affymetrix). In our primary analysis, we considered patients with incident lymphoma (i‐primary SS‐NHL) as the case group and all patients without lymphoma as the comparison group. In our sensitivity analyses, we considered all patients with primary SS‐NHL, including those with a history of lymphoma (h‐primary SS‐NHL), as the case group and primary SS patients without lymphoma, stratified on their risk factors of lymphoma, as the comparison group. Results: Twenty‐one patients with primary SS‐NHL (including 8 with i‐primary SS‐NHL and 13 h‐primary SS‐NHL) were eligible for transcriptomic analysis; we compared these patients to 324 primary SS controls without lymphoma, including 110 with moderate to severe disease activity and 61 with no risk factor of lymphoma. Functional clustering analyses revealed an enrichment of genes related to innate and adaptive immunity, including B cell–related genes. Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK) and a proliferation‐inducing ligand (APRIL) genes were overexpressed before the occurrence of lymphoma in patients with incident lymphoma compared with patients without lymphoma. In sensitivity analyses, BTK was consistently up‐regulated across all comparisons performed. BTK expression was associated with risk of lymphoma on multivariate analyses, which considered 9 validated predictors of lymphoma in primary SS. Conclusion: BTK and APRIL were overexpressed in the peripheral blood of primary SS patients prior to lymphoma. Osteoarthritis is a degenerative disease characterized by abnormal neurovascularization at the osteochondral junctions, the regulatory mechanisms of which remain poorly understood. In the present study, a murine osteoarthritic model with augmented neurovascularization at the osteochondral junction is used to examine this under‐evaluated facet of degenerative joint dysfunction. Increased extracellular RNA (exRNA) content is identified in neurovascularized osteoarthritic joints. It is found that the amount of exRNA is positively correlated with the extent of neurovascularization and the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). In vitro binding assay and molecular docking demonstrate that synthetic RNAs bind to VEGF via electrostatic interactions. The RNA‐VEGF complex promotes the migration and function of endothelial progenitor cells and trigeminal ganglion cells. The use of VEGF and VEGFR2 inhibitors significantly inhibits the amplification of the RNA‐VEGF complex. Disruption of the RNA‐VEGF complex by RNase and polyethyleneimine reduces its in vitro activities, as well as prevents excessive neurovascularization and osteochondral deterioration in vivo. The results of the present study suggest that exRNAs may be potential targets for regulating nerve and blood vessel ingrowth under physiological and pathological joint conditions. Induced homogeneous nucleation of undercooling melt is a fundamental challenge with exciting implications for composite ceramic and metal alloy materials. Nucleation can be induced externally, but physical mechanical properties reduce due to the introduction of impurities. Herein, a novel focused nanosecond pulsed laser-induced nucleation approach is demonstrated for oxide ceramic melts at undercooled state. Using a self-made aerodynamic levitation setup, the pulsed laser-induced nucleation is controlled by optimizing the pulse energy density at different undercooled temperatures. Exploiting this approach, nucleation and growth are observed from surface of undercooled alumina (Al2O3) and neodymium yttrium aluminum garnet (Nd:YAG) melts with high-speed camera. The undercooling sample experiences a nucleate--solidify--recalescence-- remelting--recalescence--solidify process. The correlation between nucleation time and undercooling temperature confirms that the undercooled melt is nucleated homogeneously by the pulsed laser. The special microstructural of samples agrees well with the prediction of two-step nucleation theory. Therefore, an assumption for the nucleation mechanism with the high-speed images and the microstructure analysis is proposed. 2D/3D bilayer perovskite synthesized using sequential deposition methods has shown effectiveness in enhancing the stability of perovskite solar devices. However, these approaches present several limitations such as uncontrolled chemical processes, disordered interfacial states, and microscale heterogeneities that can chemically, structurally, and electronically compromise the performance of solar modules. Here, this work demonstrates an emulsion‐based self‐assembly approach using natural lipid biomolecules in a nonionic solution system to form a 0D/3D bilayer structure. The new capping layer is composed of 0D‐entity nanoparticles of perovskite encapsulated by a hydrophobic lipid membrane, analogous to a cell structure, formed through a molecular self‐assembly process. This 0D layer provides a strong water repellent characteristics, optimum interface microstructure, and excellent homogeneity that drives significant enhancement in stability. Solar modules with a large active area of 70 cm2 fabricated using films comprising of 0D/3D bilayer structure are found to show consistent efficiency of >19% for 2800 h of continuous illumination in the air (60% relative humidity). Inspired by the concept of ionic charge‐transfer complexes for the Mott insulator, integer‐charge‐transfer (integer‐CT) cocrystals are designed for NIR photo‐thermal conversion (PTC). With amino‐styryl‐pyridinium dyes and F4TCNQ (7,7',8,8'‐Tetracyano‐2,3,5,6‐tetrafluoroquinodimethane) serving as donor/acceptor (D/A) units, integer‐CT cocrystals, including amorphous stacking "salt" and segregated stacking "ionic crystal", are synthesized by mechanochemistry and solution method, respectively. Surprisingly, the integer‐CT cocrystals are self‐assembled only through multiple D−A hydrogen bonds (C−H⋅⋅⋅X (X=N, F)). Strong charge‐transfer interactions in cocrystals contribute to the strong light‐harvesting ability at 200–1500 nm. Under 808 nm laser illumination, both the "salt" and "ionic crystal" display excellent PTC efficiency beneficial from ultrafast (∼2 ps) nonradiative decay of excited states. Thus integer‐CT cocrystals are potential candidates for rapid, efficient, and scalable PTC platforms. Especially amorphous "salt" with good photo/thermal stability is highly desirable in practical large‐scale solar‐harvesting/conversion applications in water environment. Effective utilization of solar energy through cocrystal strategy is still a considerable challenge. Herein, the ternary cocrystal strategy is subtly applied to broaden the absorption of cocrystals, resulting in an efficient solar photothermal conversion (PTC). Specifically, the donors of triphenylene (T) and perylene (P) and guest molecules anthracene (AT), pyrene (PY), and perylene (P) are self‐assembled with 7,7,8,8‐tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) to obtain five ternary cocrystals (AT‐T‐TCNQ, PY‐T‐T‐TCNQ, AT‐P‐TCNQ, PY‐P‐TCNQ, and P‐P‐TCNQ). The PTC of ternary cocrystals can be regulated by changing the number of benzene rings of donor and guest molecules, which may be attributed to the π–π and C–H···π intermolecular interactions. Femtosecond transient absorption and excited‐state theoretical calculations confirm that the intense π–π stacking interactions facilitate the light‐harvesting capability, while the weak C–H···π interactions are conducive to molecular stacking loosening and thus facilitate the rotation of C(C ≡ N)2, which promotes nonradiative transition to achieve the efficient PTC. As expected, the PTC efficiencies of AT‐T‐TCNQ, PY‐T‐TCNQ, AT‐P‐TCNQ, PY‐P‐TCNQ, and P‐P‐TCNQ are 59.62%, 63.07%, 81.72%, 79.06%, and 87.72%, respectively, under 808 nm irradiation. Due to the P‐P‐TCNQ having excellent near‐infrared PTC efficiency, it is applied in a solar‐driven interfacial heating evaporation system, gaining a decent evaporation efficiency (83.1%). The incorporation of charged biomacromolecules is widely found in biomineralization. To investigate the significance of this biological strategy for mineralization control, gelatin‐incorporated calcite crystals grown from gelatin hydrogels with different charge concentrations along the gel networks are examined. It is found that the bound charged groups on gelatin networks (amino cations, gelatin‐NH3+ and carboxylic anions, gelatin‐COO−) play crucial roles in controlling the single‐crystallinity and the crystal morphology. And the charge effects are greatly enhanced by the gel‐incorporation because the incorporated gel networks force the bound charged groups on them to attach to crystallization fronts. In contrast, ammonium ions (NH4+) and acetate ions (Ac−) dissolve in the crystallization media do not exhibit the similar charge effects because the balance of attachment/detachment make them more difficult to be incorporated. Organic photothermal cocrystals, integrating the advantages of intrinsic organic cocrystals and the fascinating photothermal conversion ability, hold attracted considerable interest in both basic science and practical applications, involving photoacoustic imaging, seawater desalination, and photothermal therapy, and so on. However, these organic photothermal cocrystals currently suffer individual cases discovered step by step, as well as the deep and systemic investigation in the corresponding photothermal conversion mechanisms is rarely carried out, suggesting a huge challenge for their further developments. Therefore, it is urgently necessary to investigate and explore the rational design and synthesis of high‐performance organic photothermal cocrystals for future applications. This review first and systematically summarizes the organic photothermal cocrystal in terms of molecular classification, the photothermal conversion mechanism, and their corresponding applications. The timely interpretation of the cocrystal photothermal effect will provide broad prospects for the purposeful fabrication of excellent organic photothermal cocrystals toward great efficiency, low cost, and multifunctionality. SHR4640 is a novel, selective urate reabsorption inhibitor. As the mode of action of SHR4640 differs from that of a xanthine oxidase inhibitor, such as febuxostat, coadministration of these drugs may be a treatment option for patients with primary hyperuricemia. We assessed the potential drug-drug interaction between SHR4640 and febuxostat. In this single-center, open-label, randomized, drug-drug interaction study, subjects received 80 mg febuxostat or 10 mg SHR4640 alone daily in the first week, whereas during the second week a combination of SHR4640 and febuxostat was administered daily to all subjects. Plasma concentrations of SHR4640 and febuxostat were analyzed. We compared their pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic parameters and assessed both safety and tolerability. Compared with febuxostat alone, the geometric mean ratios (90%CIs) of the maximum concentration (Cmax) and the area under the plasma concentration-time curve over the dosing interval t (AUC0-t) for febuxostat after coadministration were 1.284 (1.016 to 1.621) and 0.984 (0.876 to 1.106), respectively. The geometric mean ratios (90%CIs) of Cmax and AUC0-t for SHR4640 after coadministration compared with SHR4640 alone were 0.910 (0.839 to 0.988) and 0.929 (0.893 to 0.966), respectively. Febuxostat had no effect on SHR4640 pharmacokinetic parameters, as the 90%CIs of the geometric mean ratios were all within the range of 0.80 to 1.25. The coadministration of febuxostat and SHR4640 was well tolerated. The coadministration of SHR4640 with febuxostat was not associated with any clinically relevant pharmacokinetic drug interactions. SHR4640 combined with febuxostat had a synergistic effect on reducing uric acid in the pharmacodynamics, with the AUC decreasing from 7440 to 3170 h µmol/L compared with febuxostat alone and from 5730 to 2960 h µmol/L compared with SHR4640 alone. Crystal monochromators are indispensable optical components for the majority of beamlines at synchrotron radiation facilities. Channel-cut monochromators are sometimes chosen to filter monochromatic X-ray beams by virtue of their ultrahigh angular stability. Nevertheless, high-accuracy polishing on the inner diffracting surfaces remains challenging, thus hampering their performance in preserving the coherence or wavefront of the photon beam. Herein, a magnetically controlled chemical-mechanical polishing (MC-CMP) approach has been successfully developed for fine polishing of the inner surfaces of channel-cut crystals. This MC-CMP process relieves the constraints of narrow working space dictated by small offset requirements and achieves near-perfect polishing on the surface of the crystals. Using this method, a high-quality surface with roughness of 0.614 nm (root mean square, r.m.s.) is obtained in a channelcut crystal with 7 mm gap designed for beamlines at the High Energy Photon Source, a fourth-generation synchrotron radiation source under construction. On-line X-ray topography and rocking-curve measurements indicate that the stress residual layer on the crystal surface was removed. Firstly, the measured rocking-curve width is in good agreement with the theoretical value. Secondly, the peak reflectivity is very close to theoretical values. Thirdly, topographic images of the optics after polishing were uniform without any speckle or scratches. Only a nearly 2.5 nm-thick SiO2 layer was observed on the perfect crystalline matrix from high-resolution transmission electron microscopy photographs, indicating that the structure of the bulk material is defect- and dislocation-free. Future development of MC-CMP is promising for fabricating wavefront-preserving and ultra-stable channel-cut monochromators, which are crucial to exploit the merits of fourth-generation synchrotron radiation sources or hard X-ray free-electron lasers. Understanding how crop phenology responds to climate change is critical for enabling agricultural adaptation measures. Pre‐season temperature alone leads to well‐understood changes in crop phenology. Nevertheless, the modulation effect of concurrent precipitation extremes on the response to temperature extremes has been largely under‐addressed. Here, we investigate the response of rice transplanting dates to pre‐season temperature extremes and reveal the modulation effects of concurrent precipitation extremes by using station‐observed rice transplanting dates from 1981 to 2018 across mainland China. We also evaluate the performance of a remotely sensed phenology product, ChinaCropPhen1km, in reproducing the above temperature responses and modulation effects. Our results showed that transplanting dates tended to advance in response to an extremely hot pre‐season, while concurrent extreme drought offset the advance by up to 2.6 days. Transplanting dates tended to be delayed in response to an extremely cold pre‐season, while concurrent extreme precipitation exacerbated the delay by up to 1 day. Responses to temperature extremes and modulation effects were divergent across different regions. Under extremely hot conditions, transplanting dates advanced further in hotter and wetter regions, while under extremely cold pre‐seasons, transplanting dates delayed less in colder and drier regions. Transplanting dates from the ChinaCropPhen1km product underestimated the responses to temperature extremes by up to 4.7 days and detected the opposite modulation effect compared to those obtained from observations. Our results highlight that the need to improve our understanding and modeling of modulation effects of precipitation extremes on temperature–phenology relationship, which benefits the field of agriculture risk analysis and climate change adaptation. This paper reveals the effect of concurrent precipitation extremes in modulating rice transplanting date response to pre‐season temperature extremes in China and assesses remotely sensed transplanting dates from the ChinaCropPhen1km product in reproducing the above temperature responses and modulation effects. Results show that concurrent precipitation extremes substantially influence the temperature–transplanting date relationship. A set of marine carbonates was deposited in the Palaeozoic of the North China Craton, which is the dominant sequence for buried hill hydrocarbon exploration. This study focuses on the lithofacies and reservoirs developed in the sequence. Based on the data of cores, thin sections, drilling, and logging, the characteristics of the sequence stratigraphic framework and its control on lithofacies and reservoirs of the Lower Palaeozoic buried hills in the offshore Bohai Bay Basin are discussed. The results show that there developed 4 second‐order sequences and 21 third‐order sequences in the study area. Due to the deep burial depth, the dolomite is more likely to form high‐quality reservoirs than limestone in the study area, and we define the dolomitic tidal flat‐dominant sequences as 'favorable reservoir sequences'. There developed unconformity‐related reservoirs and inner reservoirs in the buried hill, and the 'favourable reservoir sequences' present obvious control on both reservoirs, showing: (i) 'favourable reservoir sequences' and weathering interface control on the scale of the unconformity‐related reservoir jointly, and (ii) the inner reservoirs developed within 'favourable reservoir sequences' as well, and the top and bottom of the high‐frequency sequences are the predominant areas for the bedding karst reservoir distribution. Cobalt‐free LiNixMn1−xO2 (NM, x ≥ 0.5) layered oxides are considered to be promising cathode materials for next‐generation lithium‐ion batteries because of exceptionally high capacity and low cost, yet the fundamental role of manganese ions in the NM layered structure and rate performance has not been fully addressed to date. Herein, a series of Ni‐fixed LiNi0.6Co0.4−xMnxO2 (x = 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, and 0.4) systems are employed as cathode materials to investigate the functionality of Mn ions on their structures and electrochemical properties. It is found that contrary to prior reports, the change in the c‐axis lattice parameter is not in close connection with the rate performance of NM cathodes. In particular, superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) measurements are performed to verify the fact that Mn3+ and Mn4+ ions with high spin states cause severe magnetic frustration in the structures of cathode materials, which profoundly aggravates the Li/Ni ionic disorder and blocks Li+ migration, contributing to inferior rate performance. In addition, Li+ migration hindered by Li/Ni disorder, is theoretically demonstrated by ab initio calculation. Balanced electron and hole transport properties are essential for various organic electrical/optoelectrical applications such as organic solar cells, complementary circuits, and light‐emitting transistors. However, the electron transport in organic semiconductor lags far behind the hole side, making it with vital significance to seek the factors that limit the electron mobility. Here, the authors demonstrate that the π‐conjugated solvents, as essential components in the widely‐used solution processing techniques, can significantly suppress the electron transport if they are not properly removed and trapped as residuals. Single crystals of typical p‐type materials exhibit a transition from p‐type behavior to ambipolar conductance via reducing the amount of solvent residuals, and the same effect is confirmed by varied p‐type materials and solvents. The highest electron mobility reaches 0.027 cm2 V−1 s−1 and 0.029 cm2 V−1 s−1 for 6,13‐bis(triisopropylsilylethynyl)pentacene and 5,15‐bis(triisopropylsilylethynyl)tetrabenzoporphyrin, respectively. This work discloses the non‐negligible existence of solvent residuals even in high quality, long‐range ordered organic single crystals, and further provides efficient strategies to harvest the n‐type behaviors of organic semiconductor materials. Helicobacter pylori infection is a prevalent infectious disease, associated with many gastric diseases, including gastritis, gastric ulcer, and gastric cancer. To reveal the characteristics of the gastric microbiome in patients infected with H. pylori, we performed metagenomic shotgun sequencing of stomach swab samples from 96 patients and then conducted metagenomic association analyses between alterations in the gastric microbiome and H. pylori infection status. The overall composition of the gastric microbiota in H. pylori-infected individuals was distinctly different from the negative controls; H. pylori became the dominant species after colonizing the human stomach and significantly decreased the α-diversity of the gastric community (P < 0.05, Wilcoxon rank-sum test). We also identified 6 HPIassociated microbial species (FDR < 0.05, Wilcoxon rank-sum test): Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, Stenotrophomonas unclassified, Chryseobacterium unclassified, Pedobacter unclassified, Variovorax unclassified, and Pseudomonas stutzeri. Furthermore, 55 gastric microbial pathways were enriched in the H. pylori-positive group, whereas only 2 pathways were more abundant in the H. pylori-negative group: dTDP-L-rhamnose biosynthesis and tetrapyrrole biosynthesis (FDR < 0.05, Wilcoxon rank-sum test). Gastritis was not associated with non-H. pylori species in the stomach (P > 0.05, Wilcoxon rank-sum test). This study revealed alterations in gastric microbial taxa and function associated with HPI in the Chinese population, which provides an insight into gastric microbial interactions and their potential role in the pathological process of gastric diseases. To cater for the diverse experiment requirements at the High Energy Photon Source (HEPS) with often limited human resources, Bluesky was chosen as the basis for our software framework, Mamba. In our attempt to address Bluesky's lack of integrated graphical user interfaces (GUIs), command injection with feedback was chosen as the main way for the GUIs to cooperate with the command line interface; a remote-procedure-call service is also provided, which covers functionalities unsuitable for command injection, as well as pushing of status updates. In order to fully support high-frequency applications like fly scans, Bluesky's support for asynchronous control is being improved; furthermore, to support high-throughput experiments, Mamba Data Worker is being developed to cover the complexity in asynchronous online data processing for these experiments. To systematically simplify the specification of metadata, scan parameters and data-processing graphs for each type of experiment, an experiment parameter generator will be developed; experiment-specific modules to automate preparation steps will also be made. The integration of offthe-shelf code in Mamba for domain-specific needs is under investigation, and Mamba GUI Studio is being developed to simplify the implementation and integration of GUIs. Temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis (TMJOA) is a chronic degenerative disease for which the underlying mechanism still remains unclear. Compared with apoptosis and autophagy, necroptosis causes greater harm to tissue homeostasis by releasing damage‐associated molecular patterns (DAMPs). However, the role of necroptosis and downstream key DAMPs in TMJOA is unknown. Here, rodent models of TMJOA were established by the unilateral anterior crossbite (UAC). Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and immunohistochemistry of receptor interacting protein kinase 3 (RIPK3)/phosphorylation of mixed lineage kinase domain‐like protein (pMLKL) were conducted to evaluate the occurrence of necroptosis in vivo. The therapeutic effects of blocking necroptosis were achieved by intra‐articularly injecting RIPK3 or MLKL inhibitors and using RIPK3 or MLKL knockout mice. In vitro necroptosis of condylar chondrocyte was induced by combination of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα), second mitochondria‐derived activator of caspases (SMAC) mimetics and carbobenzoxy‐valyl‐alanyl‐aspartyl‐[O‐methyl]‐ fluoromethylketone (z‐VAD‐fmk). The possible DAMPs released by necroptotic chondrocytes were screened by quantitative proteomics and blocked by specific antibody. Translucent cytosol, swollen organelles, and ruptured cell membranes, features of necroptosis, were frequently manifested in chondrocytes at the early stage of condylar cartilage degeneration in TMJOA, which was accompanied by upregulation of RIPK3/pMLKL. Inhibiting or knocking out RIPK3/MLKL significantly prevented cartilage degeneration. DAMPs released by necroptotic condylar chondrocytes, such as syndecan 4 (SDC4) and heat shock protein 90 (HSP90), were verified. Furthermore, blocking the function of SDC4 significantly attenuated the expression of TNFα in cartilage and synovium, and accordingly increased cartilage thickness and reduced synovial inflammation. Summary: Acid mine drainage (AMD) generated by rare earth elements (REEs) deposits exploration contains high concentrations of REEs, ammonium and sulfates, which is quite different from typical metallic AMD. Currently, microbial responses and ecological functions in REEs‐AMD impacted rivers are unknown. Here, 16S rRNA analysis and genome‐resolved metagenomics were performed on microbial community collected from a REEs‐AMD contaminated river. The results showed that REEs‐AMD significantly changed river microbial diversity and shaped unique indicator species (e.g. Thaumarchaeota, Methylophilales, Rhodospirillales and Burkholderiales). The main environmental factors regulating community were pH, ammonium and REEs, among which high concentration of REEs increased REEs‐dependent enzyme‐encoding genes (XoxF and ExaF/PedH). Additionally, we reconstructed 566 metagenome‐assembled genomes covering 70.4% of identifying indicators. Genome‐centric analysis revealed that the abundant archaea Thaumarchaeota and Xanthomonadaceae were often involved in nitrification and denitrification, while family Burkholderiaceae were capable of sulfide oxidation coupled with dissimilatory nitrate reduction to ammonium. These indicators play crucial roles in nitrogen and sulfur cycling as well as REEs immobilization in REEs‐AMD contaminated rivers. This study confirmed the potential dual effect of REEs on microbial community at the functional gene level. Highly reducing polyketide synthases (HR‐PKSs) produce structurally diverse polyketides (PKs). The PK diversity is constructed by a variety of factors, including the β‐keto processing, chain length, methylation pattern, and relative and absolute configurations of the substituents. We examined the stereochemical course of the PK processing for the synthesis of polyhydroxy PKs such as phialotides, phomenoic acid, and ACR‐toxin. Heterologous expression of a HR‐PKS gene, a trans‐acting enoylreductase gene, and a truncated non‐ribosomal peptide synthetase gene resulted in the formation of a linear PK with multiple stereogenic centers. The absolute configurations of the stereogenic centers were determined by chemical degradation followed by comparison of the degradation products with synthetic standards. A stereochemical rule was proposed to explain the absolute configurations of other reduced PKs and highlights an error in the absolute configurations of a reported structure. BACKGROUND Nanoparticles can improve the bioavailability of bioactive compounds. Concomitant intake of food can affect pharmacokinetic profiles by altering dissolution, absorption, metabolism, and elimination behavior. Studies on the effects of food and its supplements on the bioavailability of bioactives in nanoformulations are few. In this study, the effects of typical food (milk, sugar, high‐fat diet, and regular kibble) and a widely consumed probiotic [Bifidobacterium lactis Bb‐12® (Bb‐12)] on the bioavailability of curcumin in four formulations [simply suspended curcumin (Cur‐SS) and curcumin in nanoemulsions (Cur‐NEs), in single‐walled carbon nanotubes (Cur‐SWNTs), and in nanostructured lipid carriers (Cur‐NLCs)] were investigated. RESULTS: Fasting treatment and sugar co‐ingestion can significantly enhance the bioavailability of curcumin in Cur‐NEs and Cur‐SWNTs, respectively. Compared with the fasting treatment, co‐ingestion with regular kibble reduced the absorption of curcumin in Cur‐NEs and Cur‐SWNTs. Ingesting milk along with Cur‐NE is also not recommended. The mechanisms behind these phenomena were briefly discussed. This study revealed for the first time that the intestinal colonization of Bb‐12 reduces the bioavailability of curcumin and this reduction can be attenuated by nanoformulations SWNTs and NLCs, but not NEs. The reason for this difference was the protective effects of the former two nanoformulations against curcumin degradation by Bb‐12 according to in vitro experiments. Buried‐hill reservoirs are important targets for petroleum exploration. The number of buried‐hill oil–gas fields with reservoirs hosted in metamorphic rock is low, and metamorphic rock buried‐hill reservoirs deeper than 4,500 m (ultra‐deep) are even rarer. Ultra‐deep metamorphic rock buried‐hill reservoirs are characterized by highly heterogeneous lithologies and structure and have complex formation mechanisms, but such reservoirs have received relatively little research attention compared with reservoirs hosted in other rock types and at shallower depths. In the Bozhong Sag in the Bohai Bay Basin, Archean metamorphic rocks are buried at depths of 4,500–6,000 m, and their anticlinal structures are thus defined as ultra‐deep buried hills. Owing to their burial depth and compacted overburden, tectonism has been a key control on the formation of high‐quality reservoirs by causing deformation such as fractures. In this study, using results of drill‐core analyses, thin‐section imaging, and rock mechanical tests, we investigated the distribution and formation mechanisms of high‐quality reservoirs within the Bozhong 19‐A metamorphic rock buried hill. We also examined the formation mechanism of fractures in the Bozhong 19‐A buried hill with respect to early‐stage initiation by compression and late‐stage reactivation by transpression. Results show that intense compression‐related overthrusting caused by collision between the South China and North China plates during the Indosinian (252–237 Ma) orogeny generated initial fractures in the metamorphic rock buried hill and the formation of numerous NW‐trending nappe structures. Subsequent Yanshanian (163–66 Ma) sinistral transpression not only reactivated pre‐existing fractures, but also resulted in the development of numerous new fractures. In addition, in low‐stress regions such as anticline flanks and the lower parts of structures, compression closed the pre‐existing fractures, leading to lower fracture densities. Results of acoustic emission mechanical testing indicate that Himalayan (66–0 Ma) extensional stress was insufficient to produce large‐scale fracture systems in the Archean metamorphic rock, but was crucial for reactivating pre‐existing early‐stage fractures. Thus, the Himalayan period was a key interval for the formation of effective fractures. Therefore, rocks that underwent large‐scale overthrusting during early‐stage (Indosinian) fracturing and subsequent late‐stage (Yanshanian and Himalayan) reactivation favoured the development of ultra‐deep metamorphic rock buried‐hill reservoirs. This study should provide guidance for petroleum exploration in buried hills in superimposed basins that underwent early‐stage compression, late‐stage transpression, and final extension. The influence of high‐temperature treatment (100–120°C, 15 min) on the texture, color, and water‐holding capacity of tofu gels was investigated. As the temperature increasing, the hardness and chewiness as well as the values of redness a and yellowness b increased gradually, while the water content and the lightness L value reduced progressively, and these variations were more pronounced at 115 or 120°C. Low field nuclear magnetic resonance showed that the loss of T22 water led to the decrease of the water content. Scanning electron microscope revealed that the micropore in gels decreased after heating, and almost entirely disappeared at 120°C. Further analysis by SDS‐PAGE indicated the soy protein aggregation formed via disulfide linkage was observed in the thermal treated tofu gels, and nondisulfide linkage might also be occurred as temperature reached 110°C or higher. Aims/Introduction: The predictive value of admission hyperglycemia in the long‐term prognosis of acute myocardial infarction patients is still controversial. We aimed to investigate this value based on the diabetes status. Materials and Methods: We carried out a multicenter, retrospective study of 1,288 acute myocardial infarction patients enrolled in 11 hospitals between March 2014 and June 2019 in Chengdu, China. The patients were classified into those with diabetes and those without diabetes, each was further divided into: hyperglycemia and non‐hyperglycemia subgroups, according to the optimal cut‐off value of the blood glucose to predict all‐cause mortality during follow up. The end‐points were all‐cause death and major adverse cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events, including all‐cause death, non‐fatal myocardial infarction, vessel revascularization and non‐fatal stroke. Results: In the follow‐up period of 15 months, we observed 210 (16.3%), 6 (0.5%), 57 (4.4%) and 34 (2.6%) cases of death, non‐fatal myocardial infarction, revascularization and non‐fatal stroke, respectively. The optimal cut‐off values of admission blood glucose for patients with diabetes and patients without diabetes to predict all‐cause mortality during follow up were 14.80 and 6.77 mmol/L, respectively. We divided patients with diabetes (n = 331) into hyperglycemia (n = 92) and non‐hyperglycemia (n = 239), and patients without diabetes (n = 897) into hyperglycemia (n = 425) and non‐hyperglycemia (n = 472). The cumulative rates of all‐cause death and major adverse cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events among the patients in each hyperglycemia group was higher than that in the corresponding non‐hyperglycemia group (P < 0.001). In patients without diabetes, admission hyperglycemia was an independent predictor of all‐cause mortality and major adverse cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events. Narrowband photodetector (NB‐PD) with selective light detection is critical for artificial vision and imaging. Intrinsic (optical‐filter‐free) NB‐PDs using conjugated organics or halide perovskite materials have been developed for eliminating the current complex filtering systems in NB‐PDs. However, the poor performance and external driving circuit of organic NB‐PDs as well as complex doping and uncontrollable recombination reactions in typical perovskite NB‐PDs have limited their applicational diversification. A p‐type self‐doped perovskite for intrinsic NB detection is reported which exhibits unique unbalanced electron–hole transfer kinetics. In conjunction with the optical field distribution, an unbalanced charge transport within the self‐doped perovskite triggers a wavelength‐dependent photo‐carrier collection, resulting in a novel spontaneous internal quantum efficiency narrowing mechanism. As a result, by reverting the device architectural polarity, an NB detection at a monochromic light of either red or UV is observed. Using such a revertible asymmetric device design, self‐powered NB‐PDs are successfully achieved. Briefly, the corresponding NB‐PDs exhibit excellent narrow response with a response window of ≈100 nm, high detectivity ≈1011 Jones, and fast response speed (f−3dB ≈ 60 kHz) at zero bias. With the power conversion efficiencies of perovskite solar cells (PSCs) exceeding 25%, the PSCs are a step closer to initial industrialization. Prior to transferring from laboratory fabrication to industrial manufacturing, issues such as scalability, material cost, and production line compatibility that significantly impact the manufacturing remain to be addressed. Here, breakthroughs on all these fronts are reported. Carbon‐based PSCs with architecture fluorine doped tin oxide (FTO)/electron transport layer/perovskite/carbon, that eliminate the need for the hole transport layer and noble metal electrode, provide ultralow‐cost configuration. This PSC architecture is manufactured using a scalable and industrially compatible electrospray (ES) technique, which enables continuous printing of all the cell layers. The ES deposited electron transport layer and perovskite layer exhibit properties comparable to that of the laboratory‐scale spin coating method. The ES deposited carbon electrode layer exhibits superior conductivity and interfacial microstructure in comparison to films synthesized using the conventional doctor blading technique. As a result, the fully ES printed carbon‐based PSCs show a record 14.41% power conversion efficiency, rivaling the state‐of‐the‐art hole transporter‐free PSCs. There has been increasing interest in understanding climate change impacts on crop yield stability, including interannual yield variability and lower yield extremes, in addition to mean yield. In this study, we evaluated these impacts on wheat yield and investigated the contribution of changes in climate mean and variability, and their interaction, on the North China Plain (NCP). Wheat yield simulation experiments with control groups were conducted using the Crop Environment Resource Synthesis (CERES) model, with multiple general circulation model ensembles under two representative concentration pathways (RCPs), namely 4.5 and 8.5. Climate change was projected to reduce mean yield by 15 and 17%, increase yield interannual variability by 5 and 11%, and reduce 10‐year return period lower yield extremes by 31 and 34% under RCPs 4.5 and 8.5, respectively. When analysed, changes in climate mean proved the main cause for changes in mean yield (62–71%), followed by the interactive changes in climate mean and variability (26–33%). As for the impact on yield variability, the interaction of the changes in climate mean and variability proved the main cause (48–54%), followed by changes in climate mean (33–41%). Surprisingly, climate change in variability contributed the least in both cases. Our results pertaining to the decrease in both availability and stability of wheat yield on the NCP presents a greater challenge for building a resilient food system for local areas than before. They also highlighted the importance of separating the impacts of changes in climate mean and variability on crop yield stability in a holistic framework, with particular attention paid to the tangible and interactive effects. Most trichobezoars can be removed by traditional surgical laparotomy or laparoscopy; however, these modalities are costly and invasive.4,5 With the development of endoscopic technique and its auxiliary equipment,6 four cases treated successfully by endoscopy have been reported. Primary pores are undeveloped in the granite, but multiple types of reservoir spaces can form during the processes of weathering and tectonic movement. Taking Penglai (PL) oil field as an example, the vertical zonal characteristic of the buried granite is defined and the relationship between different zones and reservoir is discussed. The granite can be divided into weathered zone (WZ) and bedrock zone (BZ) vertically according to weathered or not, and the WZ can be divided into weathered clay zone (WCZ), weathered glutenite zone (WGZ), and weathered fracture zone (WFZ) further. The lithology, mineral composition, and weathering indices (geochemistry) can distinguish different zones. Both WZ and BZ can form good reservoirs, among them the reservoir of WGZ is dominated by pores, while that of WFZ and the BZ are mainly composed of fractures, and they constitute the high‐quality reservoir together. There is an obvious positive correlation between the thickness of fracture zone in BZ and the thickness of WZ, and both WZ and BZ are influenced by tectonic movement. Moreover, WZ superimposed with meteoric water dissolution makes it the best reservoir in the granitic buried hill, and the development of fractures in BZ extends the thickness of reservoir greatly. Based on broadband magnetotelluric data collected in western Yunnan, we obtain a three‐dimensional crustal resistivity model, which reveals seismogenic structures of Yingjiang and Longling earthquakes. Our model suggests a bifurcation of the crustal flow in western Yunnan, with a southwestern branch running into the Tengchong Block north of the Dayingjiang Fault and a southeastern branch flowing into the Baoshan Block. The Yingjiang region features an upper and midcrustal resistive body above 20‐km depth, surrounded by conductors in the midcrust. Six moderate earthquakes in Yingjiang occurred in the transition zone between the resistive and conductive structures. These earthquakes occurred in the context of a right‐lateral accommodation zone between the Nabang and Binglangjiang Faults and in the presence of the southwestern branch of the crustal flow, which provides a mechanical decoupling under the rigid high‐resistive upper crust. Beneath the Longling area, a high‐resistive structure extends through the entire crust, but a zone of low resistivity is embedded in the depth range of 10–25 km where the 1976 M7.3 earthquake occurred. The high‐resistive body provides a blockage to the previously proposed crustal channel flow along the Gaoligong shear zone and may accumulate sufficient stress. The Longling strong earthquakes may result from the sinistral strike‐slip motion of the Ruili‐Luxi Fault in the framework of the north to northeast trending compressive stress. The blockage to the crustal channel flow along the Gaoligong shear zone by the high‐resistivity zone in Longling could be an important factor to produce the north to northeast trending compressive stress field in Longling area. A concise and asymmetric total synthesis of five kopsane alkaloids that share a unique heptacyclic caged ring system was accomplished. The key transformation in the sequence involved a remarkable PtCl2‐catalyzed intramolecular [3+2] cycloaddition, which allowed for the rapid assembly of pentacyclic carbon skeletons bearing 2,3‐quaternary functionalized indoline. The recent studies widely believe that the stability of (PEA)2PbI4/MAPbI3 perovskite solar cells (PSCs) can be progressively increased with the addition of phenethylammonium ion (PEA+). Herein, it is reported on the stability variations after the addition of PEA+ into the MAPbI3 film and it is demonstrated that excess PEA+ has negative effect on the stability of (PEA)2PbI4/MAPbI3 perovskite film. X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance, and X‐ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy are utilized to testify that the excess PEA+ damages the MAPbI3 crystal structure and generates defects due to the strong coordination between NH3+ from PEA+ and I− from [PbI6]4−. This work reveals that the stability of (PEA)2PbI4/MAPbI3 perovskite films is not proportional to the addition of PEA+, which is of interest for the developing of stable 2D/3D PSCs. Cesium‐based fully inorganic black‐phase (BP) lead halide perovskites (such as α‐, β‐, and γ‐CsPbI3) with excellent thermal stability and a decently high photovoltaic performance have attracted increasing attention. However, a below 200 °C fabrication process of the desirable BP CsPbI3 has rarely been reported. Herein, the detailed crystal structure evolution of ambient‐air‐stable BP CsPbI3 prepared under low temperature conditions is investigated by exploiting the strong coordination bonding between CO in polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and Pb in CsPbI3 and inflection effect of PVP under annealing. It is found that ambient‐air‐stable BP CsPbI3 films are formed and the energy barrier for the long‐term stable BP CsPbI3 formation is significantly reduced (the required annealing temperature is only 80 °C). After optimization, the highest power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) of ≈4.0% and 10.0% are recorded for the 3% PVP‐added devices with light absorbers annealed at 80 and 160 °C, respectively. More importantly, the 3% PVP device annealed at 160 °C maintains ≈80% of its original PCE after 5 months storage under ambient‐air conditions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
