Proliferative vitreoretinopathy (PVR) is a complex disease that significantly contributes to recurrent retinal detachment. Its development is notably affected by epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT), where apoptosis plays a crucial role as a regulator of EMT. However, the function of MeCP2 in governing apoptosis and EMT in retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) cells and its implications for PVR development have remained inadequately understood. Thus, we investigated the impact of MeCP2 on proliferation, migration, apoptosis and EMT in ARPE‐19 cells to provide a fresh perspective on the etiology of PVR. The morphological changes in ARPE‐19 cells induced by recombinant human MeCP2 protein and MeCP2 knockdown were observed. Wound healing assay were performed to verify the effects of recombinant human MeCP2 protein and MeCP2 knockdown on ARPE‐19 cell migration. Furthermore, cell proliferation was assessed using the CCK‐8 assay and flow cytometry. Western blot analysis, quantitative reverse transcriptase‐polymerase chain reaction (qRT‐PCR), and immunofluorescence analysis were conducted to measure the protein levels associated with apoptosis, cell cycle and EMT. Western blot analysis and immunofluorescence assays confirmed that MeCP2 promoted EMT formation in ARPE‐19 cells. The CCK‐8 assay revealed that MeCP2 treatment enhanced the proliferation of ARPE‐19 cells, whereas MeCP2 knockdown inhibited ARPE‐19 cell proliferation. Treatment with recombinant human MeCP2 protein and MeCP2 knockdown altered the morphology of ARPE‐19 cells. Wound healing assay demonstrated that MeCP2 knockdown inhibited ARPE‐19 cell migration, and MeCP2 treatment promoted ARPE‐19 cell migration. MeCP2 knockdown induced a G0/G1 phase block, inhibiting cell growth, and qRT‐PCR data indicated reduced expression of cell cycle‐related genes. Increased apoptosis was observed after MeCP2 knockdown in ARPE‐19 cells. Overall, MeCP2 treatment stimulates cell proliferation, migration and EMT formation; conversely, MeCP2 knockdown inhibits EMT, cell proliferation, migration and cell cycle G1/S phase transition, and induces apoptosis. Developing potential hole transport materials (HTMs) is an effective approach to reduce carrier nonradiative recombination and improve the efficiency of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). To investigate the intermolecular and interfacial interactions of HTMs in PSC devices, two molecules (RQ7 and RQ8) with substituent group functionalization are designed by isomerizing ‐F and ‐SMe in the para‐ and ortho‐positions on the side chain of carbazole diphenylamine‐based HTMs. Theoretical simulations indicate that the functionalization of substituent groups in HTMs alters their dipole moments and electronic structures, as well as their intermolecular interactions, hole transport capabilities, and interfacial interactions at the HTMs/perovskite interface. Experimental results show that RQ8 exhibited higher hole mobility, better film‐forming ability, and reduced electron‐hole recombination, resulting in RQ8‐based PSC devices achieving a higher power conversion efficiency than those based on RQ7. Herein, it is demonstrated that isomerous functionalization of substituent groups in carbazole diphenylamine‐based HTMs is a feasible strategy for controlling and regulating the intermolecular and interfacial interactions of HTMs in PSC applications. Background: Investigating emotion sequence patterns in the posts of discussion forums in massive open online courses (MOOCs) holds a vital role in shaping online interactions and impacting learning achievement. While the majority of research focuses on the relationship between emotions and interactions in MOOC forum discussions, research on identifying the crucial difference in emotion sequence patterns among different interaction groups remains in its infancy. Objectives: This research utilizes deep learning and sequential pattern mining to investigate whether there are differences in emotion sequence patterns across different groups of learners who exhibit various types of interactions in online discussion forums. Methods: Data from a comprehensive array of sources, including log files, discussion texts and scores from 498 learners in online discussion forums, were collected for this study. The agglomerative hierarchical algorithm is used to classify learners into groups with different levels of interactions. Additionally, we implement and evaluate multiple deep learning models for detecting different emotions from online discussions. Relevant emotion sequence patterns were identified using sequence pattern analysis and the identified emotion sequence patterns were compared across different groups with different levels of interactions. Results and Conclusions: Using an agglomerative hierarchical algorithm, we classified learners into three distinct groups characterized by different levels of interactions: high, average and low level. Leveraging the bi‐directional long short‐term memory model for emotion detection yielded the highest predictive performance, with an impressive F‐measure of 94.01%, a recall rate of 93.83% and an accuracy score of 95.01%. The results also revealed that learners in the low‐level interaction group experienced more emotion transition from boredom to frustration than the other two groups. Therefore, the aggregation of students into groups and the utilization of their MOOC log data offer educators the capability to provide adaptive emotional feedback, customize assessments and offer more personalized attention as needed. Porokeratotic adnexal ostial nevus (PAON) is a rare adnexal hamartoma characterized by keratotic papules following Blaschko's lines, typically located on the unilateral distal extremities. Cutaneous somatic GJB2 mutations have been linked to the pathogenesis of PAON. However, the genetic mechanism underlying bilateral or extended forms, which are less documented, remains unknown. In this study, we presented two cases of PAON with widespread cutaneous lesions and scalp involvement, and demonstrated the presence of GJB2 mosaic mutations in both patients. We further investigated the mosaic frequency in different tissues to gain insights into the mutation events contributing to the phenotype of widespread PAON. Our findings suggest that early postzygotic mutation causing mosaic GJB2 mutations may contribute to the widespread phenotype of PAON, thereby enriching the disease spectrum and mutation profile of PAON. Breast cancer has become the most commonly diagnosed cancer. The intra‐ and interpatient heterogeneity induced a considerable variation in treatment efficacy. There is an urgent requirement for preclinical models to anticipate the effectiveness of individualized drug responses. Patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) can accurately recapitulate the architecture and biological characteristics of the origin tumor, making them a promising model that can overtake many limitations of cell lines and PDXs. However, it is still unclear whether PDOs‐based drug testing can benefit breast cancer patients, particularly those with tumor recurrence or treatment resistance. Fresh tumor samples were surgically resected for organoid culture. Primary tumor samples and PDOs were subsequently subjected to H&E staining, immunohistochemical (IHC) analysis, and whole‐exome sequencing (WES) to make comparisons. Drug sensitivity tests were performed to evaluate the feasibility of this model for predicting patient drug response in clinical practice. We established 75 patient‐derived breast cancer organoid models. The results of H&E staining, IHC, and WES revealed that PDOs inherited the histologic and genetic characteristics of their parental tumor tissues. The PDOs successfully predicted the patient's drug response, and most cases exhibited consistency between PDOs' drug susceptibility test results and the clinical response of the matched patient. We conclude that the breast cancer organoids platform can be a potential preclinical tool used for the selection of effective drugs and guided personalized therapies for patients with advanced breast cancer. Aim: To investigate the correlation between job values, job stress, and job satisfaction among nursing assistants in a hospital setting. Design: A cross‐sectional study. Methods: Data were collected from nursing assistants working in a regional hospital and a medical center in Northern Taiwan. A self‐rated structured questionnaire was used to collect data on participants' demographic characteristics, job values, job stress, and job satisfaction. Descriptive statistics, t test, one‐way analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise regression were used for data analysis. Results: A total of 135 questionnaires were distributed; of them, 132 were returned, resulting in a response rate of 97.8%. The average age of the participants was 57.08 ± 5.86 years, with the majority being female, high school educated, and married. Most participants (70%) had >5 years of experience in working as nursing assistants. The average job satisfaction score of was 63.63, indicating a moderate level of job satisfaction. Job satisfaction exhibited a significantly positive correlation with job values but a significantly negative correlation with job stress. Job value was negatively correlated with job stress. Stepwise regression revealed that job values significantly explained the variance in job satisfaction among hospital nursing assistants. Conclusions: Nursing assistants are integral to clinical practice. To enhance their job satisfaction and professional development, health‐care institutions and policymakers should implement strategies such as providing continual training, offering recognition and rewards to enhance sense of accomplishment. In contrast to the kinetically favored outward isomerization‐hydrocarbonylation of alkenes, the disfavored inward isomerization‐hydrocarbonylation of alkenes remains an important challenge. Herein, we have developed a novel and effective palladium‐catalyzed inward isomerization‐hydroaminocarbonylation of unactivated alkenes and aniline hydrochlorides for the formation of synthetically valuable α‐aryl carboxylic amides in high yields and high site‐selectivities. The high efficiency of the reaction is attributed to a relay catalysis strategy, in which the Markovnikov‐favored [PdH]‐PtBu3 catalyst is responsible for inward isomerization, while the [PdH]‐Ruphos catalyst is responsible for hydroaminocarbonylation of the resulting conjugated aryl alkenes. As one of the key technologies in battery management system, accurate remaining useful life (RUL) prediction is critical to guarantee the reliability and safety for electrical equipment. However, the generalization and robustness of a single method are limited. A novel fusion data‐driven RUL prediction method CSSA‐ELM‐LSSVR based on charging‐discharging health features extraction is proposed in this paper, which fusions chaotic sparrow search algorithm (CSSA), extreme learning machine (ELM), and least squares support vector regression (LSSVR). First, four health indicators (HIs) are extracted from the charging‐discharging process, which can reflect the battery degradation phenomenon from multiple perspectives. Then, pearson correlation coefficient is used to numerically analyze the correlation between HIs and battery aging capacities. Second, the extracted HIs are used as the inputs for ELM and LSSVR to predict the degradation trend of battery, where CSSA is used for hyperparameters optimization in ELM. Finally, considering that CSSA‐ELM can capture the general trend of degradation curves, while LSSVR can trace the detail changes, a fusion framework based on CSSA‐ELM and LSSVR is proposed for RUL prediction. Two weighting schemes, namely precision‐based weighting (PW) and random forest regressor‐based weighting (RFRW) are put forward to fix the weights of CSSA‐ELM and LSSVR algorithms. Two publicly available datasets from National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and MIT are adopted to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method. The results indicate that the proposed method with any weighting scheme has an overall superior prediction performance for different kinds of batteries compared with CSSA‐ELM, LSSVR, convolution neural network and long short term memory. Moreover, the RFRW scheme has better overall performance. Specifically, the maximum root mean square error of the predicted method is 2.5126%, the mean absolute percentage error is 12.9167%, the mean absolute error is 1.8376%, the predicted RUL errors are within one cycle, and the determination coefficient R2$R^2$ is above 0.97. Cardiac microvascular endothelial cells (CMECs) are important cells surrounding the cardiomyocytes in the heart that maintain microenvironment homeostasis. Salvianic acid A sodium (SAAS) has been reported to prevent myocardial infarction (MI) injury. However, the role of SAAS on CMEC proliferation remains unclear. CEMCs exposed to oxygen glucose deprivation (OGD) were used to explore the angiogenic abilities of SAAS. In vivo, C57BL/6 mice were divided into three groups: sham, MI and SAAS + MI groups. Compared to OGD group, SAAS led to a reduction in the apoptotic rate and an increase of the proliferation in vitro. Additionally, SAAS increased the protein levels of Bcl2, HIF‐1α and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) with the reduction of Bax. In terms of the specific mechanisms, SAAS might inhibit HIF‐1α ubiquitination and enhance the HIF‐1α/VEGF signalling pathway to increase CMEC proliferation. Furthermore, SAAS increased the density of vessels, inhibited myocardial fibrosis and improved cardiac dysfunction in vivo. Background: Ovarian cancer is a common gynecological tumor with high malignant potential and poor prognosis. TRIM8, is involved in the development of various tumors, but its precise regulatory role in ovarian cancer is still unknown. Aims: The aim of this study was to explore the specific mechanism by which TRIM8 regulates ovarian cancer. Materials and Methods: We used bioinformatics analysis to screen for high expression of TRIM8 in ovarian cancer. The expression of TRIM8 in healthy and cancerous ovarian tissues was assessed by immunofluorescence. TRIM8 was silenced or overexpressed in ovarian cancer cell lines, with cell proliferation and migration evaluated by CCK8, transwell and clonal formation assays. The effect of TRIM8 on ovarian cancer cells in vivo was assessed by subcutaneous tumor formation experiments in nude mice. The potential interacting protein VDAC2 was identified by mass spectrometry. The mechanism underlying TRIM8 regulation of VDAC2 was evaluated by co‐immunoprecipitation and western blotting. Results: TRIM8 was overexpressed in ovarian cancer. TRIM8 promoted the proliferation and migration of ovarian cancer cells in vitro and the growth of subcutaneous tumors in mice in vivo. TRIM8 interacted with VDAC2, weakened the stability of the protein, and promoted its polyubiquitination and subsequent degradation. Knockdown of VDAC2 increased the resistance of ovarian cancer cells to iron death, whereas overexpression of VDAC2 attenuated ovarian cancer progression induced by TRIM8 overexpression. Discussion: TRIM8 promotes ovarian cancer proliferation and migration by targeting VDAC2 for ubiquitination and degradation, these finding may provide new targets for the treatment of ovarian cancer. Conclusion: TRIM8 degraded VDAC2 through the ubiquitination pathway, increased the resistance of ovarian cancer cells to iron death, and promoted the proliferation and migration of ovarian cancer. Accumulating evidence suggests that a wide variety of cell deaths are deeply involved in cancer immunity. However, their roles in glioma have not been explored. We employed a logistic regression model with the shrinkage regularization operator (LASSO) Cox combined with seven machine learning algorithms to analyse the patterns of cell death (including cuproptosis, ferroptosis, pyroptosis, apoptosis and necrosis) in The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) cohort. The performance of the nomogram was assessed through the use of receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves and calibration curves. Cell‐type identification was estimated by using the cell‐type identification by estimating relative subsets of known RNA transcripts (CIBERSORT) and single sample gene set enrichment analysis methods. Hub genes associated with the prognostic model were screened through machine learning techniques. The expression pattern and clinical significance of MYD88 were investigated via immunohistochemistry (IHC). The cell death score represents an independent prognostic factor for poor outcomes in glioma patients and has a distinctly superior accuracy to that of 10 published signatures. The nomogram performed well in predicting outcomes according to time‐dependent ROC and calibration plots. In addition, a high‐risk score was significantly related to high expression of immune checkpoint molecules and dense infiltration of protumor cells, these findings were associated with a cell death‐based prognostic model. Upregulated MYD88 expression was associated with malignant phenotypes and undesirable prognoses according to the IHC. Furthermore, high MYD88 expression was associated with poor clinical outcomes and was positively related to CD163, PD‐L1 and vimentin expression in the in‐horse cohort. The cell death score provides a precise stratification and immune status for glioma. MYD88 was found to be an outstanding representative that might play an important role in glioma. Accurate prediction of employment rate of graduated students can greatly help education authorities to make informed decisions as well as for universities to adjust their teaching plans. Unfortunately, prediction of the employment rate of graduated students is still a difficult problem because the historical employment rate data exhibits fluctuations. In this paper, a new method is proposed for employment rate prediction using fractional gray GM(1,1|$$ \mid $$sin) model, which aims to alleviate the effect of data fluctuation on prediction accuracy and increase the contribution of new data in the prediction procedure. To further decrease prediction error, a Fourier series is adopted to model the residual series. The proposed model, called Fourier Fractional GM(1,1|$$ \mid $$sin) Model (FFGMsin), is used to predict the employment rate of graduated students of Yanshan University from 2010 to 2019. Background: Gadolinium (Gd)‐based contrast agents (GBCAs) have been widely used for acute ischemic stroke (AIS) patients. GBCAs or AIS alone may cause the adverse effects on kidney tissue, respectively. However, whether GBCAs and AIS would generate a synergistic negative effect remains undefined. Purpose: To evaluate synergistic negative effects of AIS and GBCAs on renal tissues in a mouse model of AIS, and to compare the differences of these negative effects between linear and macrocyclic GBCAs. Study Type: Animal study. Animal Model: Seventy‐two healthy mice underwent transient middle cerebral artery occlusion (tMCAO) and sham operation to establish AIS and sham model (N = 36/model). 5.0 mmol/kg GBCAs (gadopentetate or gadobutrol) or 250 μL saline were performed at 4.5 hours and 1 day after model establishing (N = 12/group). Assessment: Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP‐MS) was performed to detect Gd concentrations. Serum biochemical analyzer was performed to measure the serum creatinine (Scr), uric acid (UA), and blood urea nitrogen (BUN). Pathological staining was performed to observe tubular injury, cell apoptosis, mesangial hyperplasia, and interstitial fibrosis. Statistical Tests: Two‐way analysis of variances with post hoc Sidak's tests and independent‐samples t‐tests were performed. A P‐value <0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: AIS groups showed higher Gd concentration than sham group on day 1 p.i. regardless of gadopentetate or gadobutrol used. Increased total Gd concentration was also found in AIS + gadopentetate group compared with the sham group on day 28 p.i. Significantly higher rates for renal dysfunction, higher tubular injury scores, and higher numbers of apoptotic cells on days 1 or 28 p.i. were found for AIS mice injected with GBCA. AIS + gadopentetate group displayed more severe renal damage than the AIS + gadobutrol group. Introducing 2D perovskite onto the surface of 3D perovskite could not only passivate the defects in 3D perovskite, but also protect the 3D perovskite from humidity invasion, which could improve the device stability. The choice of spacer cations in 2D perovskites directly influences the overall properties of the 2D layer, which is crucial to the efficiency and stability of devices. Herein, trifluoromethyl benzylamine is developed as the 2D spacer cation, and the effects of –CF3 at different substitution positions on the surface morphology, carrier dynamics, and device performances are systematically investigated. Results show that the 3‐TFPMAI‐treated 2D/3D perovskite film shows smoother morphology, with fewer surface defects and less nonradiative recombination. Moreover, with a matched energy level, 3‐TFPMAI modification can accelerate hole extraction and hole transporting. The 3‐TFPMAI‐treated 2D/3D cell achieves a champion efficiency of 22.68%. What's more, the introduction of fluoride‐containing groups increases the hydrophobicity of the 2D layer, which effectively resists moisture erosion and greatly improves the long‐term and operational stability of the perovskite solar cells. The uncoordinated lead cations are ubiquitous in perovskite films and severely affect the efficiency and stability of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). In this work, 15‐crown‐5 with various heteroatoms are connected to the organic semiconductor carbazole diphenylamine, and two new compounds, CDT‐S and CDT‐N, are developed to modify the Pb2+ defects in perovskite films through the anti‐solvent method. Apart from the oxygen atoms, there are also N atoms on crown ether ring in CDT‐N, and both S and N heteroatoms in CDT‐S. The heteroatoms enhance the interaction between the crown ether‐based semiconductors and the undercoordinated Pb2+ defect in perovskite. Particularly, the stronger interaction between S atoms and Pb2+ further enhances the defect passivation effect of CDT‐S than CDT‐N, thereby more effectively suppressing the non‐radiative recombination of charge carriers. Finally, the efficiency of the device treated with CDT‐S is up to 23.05 %. Moreover, the unencapsulated device based on CDT‐S maintained 90.5 % of the initial efficiency after being stored under dark conditions for 1000 hours, demonstrating good long‐term stability. Our work demonstrates that crown ethers are promising in perovskite solar cells, and the crown ether containing multiple heteroatoms could effectively improve both efficiency and stability of devices. Purpose: The optic disc and the macular are two major anatomical structures in the human eye. Optic discs are associated with the optic nerve. Macular mainly involves degeneration and impaired function of the macular region. Reliable optic disc and macular segmentation are necessary for the automated screening of retinal diseases. Methods: A swept‐source OCTA system was designed to capture OCTA images of human eyes. To address these segmentation tasks, first, we constructed a new Optic Disc and Macula in fundus Image with optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) dataset (ODMI). Second, we proposed a Coarse and Fine Attention‐Based Network (CFANet). Results: The five metrics of our methods on ODMI are 98.91%, 98.47%, 89.77%, 98.49%, and 89.77%, respectively. Estimating wheat yield accurately is crucial for efficient agricultural management. While canopy spectral information is widely used for this purpose, the incorporation of canopy volumetric features (CVFs) remains underexplored. This study bridges this gap by utilizing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) multispectral imaging to capture images and elevation data of wheat at key developmental stages—gestation and flowering stages. We innovatively leveraged the elevation differences between these stages to calculate canopy height, develop a novel CVF, and refine the wheat yield prediction model across various wheat varieties, nitrogen fertilizer levels, and planting densities. The integration of canopy volume information significantly enhanced the accuracy of our yield prediction model, as evidenced by an R2 of 0.8380, an RMSE of 313.3 kg/ha, and an nRMSE of 11.33%. This approach not only yielded more precise estimates than models relying solely on spectral data but also introduced a novel dimension to wheat yield estimation methodologies. Aim: The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) pandemic has had a substantial effect on frontline health care workers and caused public health nurses (PHNs) to come under various forms of pressure. PHNs face high‐risk challenges in their work environment, and their professional commitment and adaptability are key concerns. The aim of this qualitative study was to describe the experiences of PHNs during the COVID‐19 outbreak. Methods/Design: Twenty PHNs who worked during the COVID‐19 outbreak were recruited from seven public health centres through posters. Data were collected through in‐depth interviews that comprised semi‐structured and open‐ended questions; subsequently, the data were analysed through content analysis. Results: Three themes emerged from the study findings, namely (1) the disorderliness of COVID‐19 pandemic prevention work, (2) managing stress and fear, and (3) the establishment of a new normal. Because of the severity of the pandemic, the workload and stress associated with epidemic prevention policies continue to increase. PHNs may infect their family members and experience a sense of alienation and distance. They must also deal with irrationality and reactions in the people within their community. Conclusion: Health department directors and policymakers should provide the necessary support and assistance to frontline pandemic prevention workers to increase the efficiency of pandemic prevention efforts. Avulsion often occurs in the limb due to heavy shearing forces which not only damage skeletal muscle but also main vessels, resulting in life‐threatening muscle ischemia and necrosis. Defining muscle activity is vital for surgical repair. Currently, the color, capacity of blood, contractibility, and consistency (4C) are the primary principles for evaluating the activities of torn muscles. Based on clinical experiences, this standard turns out to be delayed diagnosis, which is not defined by specific parameters. Recently, near‐infrared (NIR) fluorescence probes emitting within the second near‐infrared window (NIR‐II, 1000–1700 nm) have been widely used for non‐invasive optical imaging because the tissue absorption and autofluorescence in the NIR‐II region are negligible, thus allowing deeper penetration depths with micrometer‐scale spatial resolution in vivo. As pathogenesis and development of muscle necrosis, necrosis‐related protein may participate in this procedure. There is promising future for NIR‐II to be used in evaluating muscle activity in avulsion. A new approach is developed based on experiments with mice and large animals (swine). Myoblasts were incubated with indocyanine green (ICG) to identify the necrosis muscles. The model of extremity damaged muscle was established for the real‐time visualization and detection of developed necrosis muscle field under new equipment, both in balb/c mice (female) and long‐haired swines. A visible NIR‐II/I imaging system was first used in a large animal injured skeletal muscle‐related model. Our NIR‐II/I imaging system is suitable for evaluating the normal and injured skeletal muscle ICG cycle and pointing to the necrotic skeletal muscle tissue. NIR‐II imaging is superior to NIR‐I imaging in estimating skeletal muscle, best with 1100 nm filter. This study uses a high‐dimensional time‐frequency volatility spillover model to examine risk interactions across 32 global stock and credit default swap (CDS) markets during the coronavirus (COVID‐19) pandemic. Our empirical results mainly show that cross‐market risk spillovers between these two types of markets are rare over the whole crisis period. Adding CDS assets to the stock portfolio would significantly decrease the overall risk spillovers in the mixed portfolio. Then, the time‐frequency spillover and rolling window analyses confirm this finding and provide further evidence of frequency heterogeneity of risk spillovers during the pandemic. The outbreak of the COVID pandemic only sharply increases short‐term risk spillovers between the stock and sovereign CDS market but exerts insignificant impacts on the medium and long‐term cross‐market risk spillovers. Moreover, our results show that developed countries are net transmitters in the stock markets. In contrast, the emerging markets account for the most risk spillovers in sovereign CDS markets over the sample period, emphasizing the heterogenous adverse impacts of the pandemic across various countries and markets. Finally, we find that bailouts implemented by the US and EU central banks, though with heterogeneous impacts across frequencies, gradually enhance the confidence and resilience of investors in these markets. Nanoplastics are recently recognized as neurotoxic factors for the nervous systems. However, whether and how they affect vesicle chemistry (i.e., vesicular catecholamine content and exocytosis) remains unclear. This study offers the first direct evidence for the nanoplastics‐induced neurotoxicity by single‐vesicle electrochemistry. We observe the cellular uptake of polystyrene (PS) nanoplastics into model neuronal cells and mouse primary neurons, leading to cell viability loss depending on nanoplastics exposure time and concentration. By using single‐vesicle electrochemistry, we find the reductions in the vesicular catecholamine content, the frequency of stimulated exocytotic spikes, the neurotransmitter release amount of single exocytotic event, and the membrane‐vesicle fusion pore opening‐closing speed. Mechanistic investigations suggest that PS nanoplastics can cause disruption of filamentous actin (F‐actin) assemblies at cytomembrane zones and change the kinetic patterns of vesicle exocytosis. Background: The suitability of hepatectomy among patients with multinodular hepatocellular carcinoma (MHCC) beyond the Milan criteria remains controversial. There is a need for a reliable risk stratification tool among these patients for the selection of ideal candidates of curative resection. Purpose: To determine the clinicoradiological prognostic factors for patients with MHCC beyond the Milan criteria to further develop a stratification system. Study Type: Retrospective. Subjects: 176 patients with pathologically confirmed MHCC beyond the Milan criteria. Field Strength/Sequence: The 1.5 T scanner, including T1‐, T2‐, diffusion‐weighted imaging, in/out‐phase imaging, and dynamic contrast‐enhanced imaging. Assessment: Conventional MRI features and preoperative laboratory data including aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and α‐fetoprotein (AFP) were collected and analyzed. Two nomograms incorporating clinicoradiological variables were independently constructed to predict recurrence‐free survival (RFS) and overall survival (OS) with Cox regression analyses and verified with 5‐fold cross validation. Based on the nomograms, two prognostic stratification systems for RFS and OS were further developed. Statistical Tests: The Cohen's kappa/intraclass correlation coefficient, C‐index, calibration curve, Kaplan–Meier curve, log‐rank test. A P value <0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: AST > 40 U/L, increased tumor burden score, radiological liver cirrhosis and nonsmooth tumor margin were independent predictors for poor RFS, while AST > 40 U/L, AFP > 400 ng/mL and radiological liver cirrhosis were independent predictors for poor OS. The two nomograms demonstrated good discrimination performance with C‐index of 0.653 (95% confidence interval [CI], 0.602–0.794) and 0.685 (95% CI, 0.623–0.747) for RFS and OS, respectively. The 5‐fold cross validation further validated the discrimination capability of the nomograms. Based on the nomogram models, MHCC patients beyond the Milan criteria were stratified into low−/medium−/high‐risk groups with significantly different RFS and OS. Introduction: Acquired Wolff–Parkinson–White (WPW) syndrome can occur after congenital heart disease (CHD) surgery. Methods and Results: A 27‐year‐old male with Ebstein's anomaly and manifest WPW syndrome received catheter ablation twice. The first electrophysiology study (EPS) induced orthodromic atrioventricular reentrant tachycardia and successfully eliminated the posteroseptal accessory pathway (AP). Six months after the Cone procedure, the patient suffered from palpitation. The second EPS was performed and abolished the right lateral AP. Although previous neuroimaging evidence has confirmed the brain functional disturbances in thyroid‐associated ophthalmopathy (TAO), the dynamic characteristics of brain activity and functional connectivity (FC) in TAO were rarely concerned. The present study aims to investigate the alterations of temporal variability of brain activity and FC in TAO using resting‐state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs‐fMRI). Forty‐seven TAO patients and 30 age‐, gender‐, education‐, and handedness‐matched healthy controls (HCs) were enrolled and underwent rs‐fMRI scanning. The dynamic amplitude of low‐frequency fluctuation (dALFF) was first calculated using a sliding window approach to characterize the temporal variability of brain activity. Based on the dALFF results, seed‐based dynamic functional connectivity (dFC) analysis was performed to identify the temporal variability of efficient communication between brain regions in TAO. Additionally, correlations between dALFF and dFC and the clinical indicators were analyzed. Compared with HCs, TAO patients displayed decreased dALFF in the left superior occipital gyrus (SOG) and cuneus (CUN), while showing increased dALFF in the left triangular part of inferior frontal gyrus (IFGtriang), insula (INS), orbital part of inferior frontal gyrus (ORBinf), superior temporal gyrus (STG) and temporal pole of superior temporal gyrus (TPOsup). Furthermore, TAO patients exhibited decreased dFC between the left STG and the right middle occipital gyrus (MOG), as well as decreased dFC between the left TPOsup and the right calcarine fissure and surrounding cortex (CAL) and MOG. Correlation analyses showed that the altered dALFF in the left SOG/CUN was positively related to visual acuity (r =.409, p =.004), as well as the score of QoL for visual functioning (r =.375, p =.009). TAO patients developed abnormal temporal variability of brain activity in areas related to vision, emotion, and cognition, as well as reduced temporal variability of FC associated with vision deficits. Triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a special pathological type of breast cancer (BC) with poor prognosis. Obesity is shown to be involved in TNBC tumor progression. The interaction between obesity and BC has generated great attention in recent years, however, the mechanism is still unclear. Here, we showed that leptin secreted by adipocytes upregulated PD‐L1 expression in TNBC through the p‐STAT3 signaling pathway and that baicalein inhibited PD‐L1 expression in tumor microenvironment by suppressing leptin transcription of adipocytes. Collectively, our findings suggest that leptin may be the key factor participating in obesity‐related tumor progression and that baicalein can break through the dilemma to boost the anti‐tumor immune response. Background: In this paper, wheat gluten (WG) was modified by electrochemical deamidation. The effects of electrochemical treatment time on the conformation and functional properties of WG and its mechanism were studied. Results: Wheat gluten demonstrated a maximum deamidation of 50.94%. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) showed a decrease in α‐helix and β‐sheets and an increase in β‐turns and random coils, indicating that the secondary structure of WG became looser and more disordered with increased molecular flexibility. Electrochemical deamidation significantly increased the net charge and solubility of WG, the emulsifying activity index (EAI) increased from 8.53 to 15.66 m2 g−1, the foaming capacity (FC) increased from 4.55 to 13.72 cm3, and the water‐holding capacity (WHC) and oil‐holding capacity (OHC) reached maximum levels of 8.42 g g−1 and 7.45 g g−1, respectively, at 90 min. There have been several case reports regarding newly developed vitiligo following the coronavirus disease 19 (COVID‐19) vaccination. However, the relationship between COVID‐19 vaccine and vitiligo progression remains unclear. To explore the relationship between COVID‐19 vaccine and vitiligo progression and its potential influencing factors, A cross‐sectional study was conducted on 90 patients with vitiligo who received inactivated COVID‐19 vaccination. Detailed information covering demographic characteristics (age and sex), vitiligo clinical features (disease subtypes, duration, stage and comorbidities) and disease activity was collected through an electronic questionnaire. Ninety patients with vitiligo included 44.4% males, with an average age of 38.1 years (standard deviation, SD = 15.0). Patients were divided into progress group (29, 32.2%) and normal group (61, 67.8%) based on whether they experienced vitiligo progression after inactivated COVID‐19 vaccination. 41.3% of patients in the progress group experienced vitiligo progression within 1 week after vaccination, and disease progression mainly occurred after the first dose inoculation (20, 69.0%). Logistic regression revealed that patients aged <45 years (odds ratio (OR) was 0.87, 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.34–2.22) and male patients (OR = 0.84, 95% CI: 0.34–2.05) had lower risk for vitiligo progression, while patients with segmental vitiligo (SV) subtype (OR = 1.68, 95% CI: 0.53–5.33), with <5 years disease duration (OR = 1.32, 95% CI: 0.51–3.47) had higher risk for vitiligo progression after COVID‐19 vaccination, but without statistical significance. Over 30% patients experienced vitiligo progression after inactivated COVID‐19 vaccination, and female patients, elder age, shorter disease duration and SV subtype are potential risk factors for vitiligo progression. Summary: This work evaluated the influence of phenolics from Black, Indica and Japonica rice bran (2.5–10%) on pasting and retrogradation properties of rice starch. The breakdown, setback, enthalpy values and retrogradation percentage of rice starch were decreased, and the pasting temperature was enhanced with the phenolics from three varieties of brown rice. X‐ray diffraction results suggested that new V‐type crystal at 13.1° was formed and relative crystallinity of rice starch was decreased. The results from fourier transform infrared spectroscopy exhibited that the 1047/1022 cm−1 values of rice starch were decreased with the content increase of phenolics from three varieties of brown rice. The phenolics from three varieties of brown rice resulted in loose surface structure of rice starch. This work may provide evidences for utilisation of phenolics from different varieties of brown rice to improve quality of rice products and inhibit retrogradation of rice starch. Winter mulching is widely used to raise soil temperature and promote earlier harvesting in agroforestry, but successive years of mulching can lead to soil degradation. The effect of winter mulch on soil bacterial community composition and co‐occurrence patterns is not clear. The influence of different mulches (a defatted seed cake of Camellia oleifera, DS; a mixture of wheat straw and chicken manure, MWC; and wheat straw, WS) on soil bacterial communities and networks in lei bamboo (Phyllostachys praecox) forests over a four‐month mulching period was studied using Illumina sequencing of the 16S rRNA gene. The results showed that mulching time and mulching material treatment significantly influenced bacterial community composition and diversity, mainly driven by nutrient availability. MWC and WS mulching treatments decreased α‐diversity of the bacterial communities, whereas the DS treatment had no significant impact. The oligotrophs, Gryllotalpicola, Granulicella, and Verrucomicrobia, were enriched before and at the end of mulching, while the copiotrophs, Deltaproteobacteria, were enriched in the middle of the mulching period (Jan). Comparing the three mulching treatments, Proteobacteria were enriched in DS mulching soils in Jan. The complexity of the four networks decreased with pre‐mulching, DS mulching, WS mulching, and MWC mulching networks, with a reduction in the number of edges and average degree observed. The results suggested that winter mulching practices adversely affected soil bacterial community diversity and interactions, which may be detrimental to the resistance of bacterial communities to environmental changes and soil sustainability. Alcohol dependence (AD) is a chronic and relapsing disorder. Conditioned cues associated with the rewarding properties of drugs could trigger motivational/physiological reactions and render subjects vulnerable to relapse. Striatal circuit dysfunction has been implicated in alcohol addiction behaviours. However, little is known about the striatal tracts structural connectivity changes underlying cue induced reactivity in AD. In our present study, we recruited 51 patients with AD; 31 individuals had physiological response. We used seed‐based classification by probabilistic tractography with nine target masks to explore the white matter integrity of striatal circuits in physiological responders (N = 31), non‐responders (N = 20), and healthy controls (N = 27). Compared with healthy controls, physiological responders showed lower fractional anisotropy (FA) and/or higher mean diffusivity in the striatum‐dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (dlPFC), striatum‐ventral lateral prefrontal cortex, striatum‐supplementary motor area (SMA), and striatum‐insular. Considering age and smoking are potential nuisances to diffusion parameters, an analysis of covariance also was conducted and similar results were found. We also found the cue‐induced physiological response was negatively associated with the FA of the striatum‐SMA (r = −0.287; p = 0.045) and left striatum‐dlPFC (r = −0.253; p = 0.079) in AD. In our study, we found abnormal integrity of striatal circuit structural connectivity in AD with physiological cue reactivity, especially trajectory from prefrontal cortex and insular. We also found the FA of striatal tracks was negatively associated with the degree of cue reactivity. Hole transporting materials (HTMs) are imperative for promoting the development of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Herein, three isomers of RQ4, RQ5, and RQ6 are constructed by methylthio (‐SMe) group in the para, meta, and adjacent sites of terminal benzene on the side‐chain of carbazole‐arylamine derivatives based HTMs, and investigated by means of the theoretical simulation and experimental characterization. As a result of the theoretical simulation, the isomeric HTMs of RQ4‐RQ6 exhibit appropriate highest occupied molecular orbital /lowest unoccupied molecular orbital energy levels and good optical properties. However, by comparison with RQ4 and RQ5, a better planar configuration and closer molecular stacking for RQ6 may be beneficial to promote the hole coupling, interface interaction, and charge transfer at perovskite/HTMs interface. In order to verify the accuracy of the theoretical model, the designed RQ4‐RQ6 are synthesized to be used to assemble PSCs devices. In comparison to isomers RQ4 (20.07%) and RQ5 (18.18%) based devices, the RQ6 based devices has higher power conversion efficiency of 21.03% because of its high hole mobility, the film formation ability, and large charge transfer at perovskite/HTMs interface. The experimental results confirm the reliability of the theoretical simulation and provide an effective strategy to obtain potential HTMs through isomerization of side‐chain functional groups. RNA therapy represents a great way to precisely regulate cellular processes by modulating the gene expression. Despite this potential, a profound gap exists in our knowledge of how to subsequently deliver these RNAs into the specific target cells and turn therapeutically active RNAs into practical medicines. An advanced series of interlocked, thermodynamically self‐regulated processes that enable the precise assembly of functional synthetic carriers of siRNA to the target cells in vivo was developed. To demonstrate the efficacy of this delivery system, we used it to treat human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) infection in a humanized mouse model. In this study, we use small interfering RNA (siRNA) and small complementary RNA (scRNA) to inhibit the expressions of two HCMV genes, IE1 and IE2. The auto‐regulated nanocarrier polywraplex with core‐shell structure was designed to condense and package these RNAs for delivering. To allow these particles recognize the HCMV‐infected cells, a ligand was coupled on the surface of nanoparticle, which would specifically target the HCMV‐encoded CX3CL1 chemokine receptor presented in the HCMV‐infected cells. The results demonstrated that the polywraplex conjugated with the target molecule CX3CL1 effectively and specifically delivered the siRNA/scRNA to HCMV infected cells and inhibited virus growth in vitro and in vivo. It has been reported that B‐cell CLL‐lymphoma 10 (BCL10) serves as an oncogene in cervical cancer. However, the roles of BCL10 in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), especially involved in immune infiltration remain not clear. This study aims to explore the relationship between BCL10 and the prognosis and clinical significance, and immune infiltration in HCC. The expression of BCL10 was analyzed between HCC samples and non‐tumor samples in the multiple datasets. In addition, the prognostic values of BCL10 and its methylation in HCC were also investigated. The clinical significance of BCL10 has also been explored. Furthermore, the correlation between BCL10 and immune infiltration in HCC microenvironment was assessed. Finally, the biological behaviors of BCL10 in HCC were verified by cell function experiments. It was found that the expression levels of BCL10 were increased in HCC patients in multiple datasets. Moreover, the increased BCL10 and its reduced methylation were associated with the poor survival. BCL10 was significantly associated with immune infiltration. When BCL10 was knocked down in HCC cells, their proliferation ability was significantly inhibited, their migration was significantly decreased, their apoptosis was significantly increased, and AKT signaling pathway was inhibited. Foamed materials play an important role in a lightweight design. Foam injection molding (FIM) is an advanced and convenient way to fabricate lightweight structural materials. Recently, a new foam injection molding machine is developed, which only needs ultra‐low gas pressure to fabricate microcellular foam. As a universal plastic, polypropylene (PP) is widely used due to its good mechanical properties. But after foaming, the toughness of the PP tends to decrease. Herein, a lightweight and high‐impact polypropylene foam is fabricated via the new FIM technology with an ultra‐low nitrogen pressure of 6.5 MPa. PP/polyolefin elastomer (POE) foam with a tiny cell size of 4.13 µm and high cell density of 2.7 × 109 cm−3 is successfully obtained. Owing to the superior cellular structure, compared with the pure PP foam, after adding the POE component, the maximum impact performance is increased by 465%. In conventional (n‐i‐p) perovskite solar cells (PSCs), spiro‐OMeTAD is the most widely used hole‐transporting material (HTM), which contributes to the current state‐of‐the‐art efficiency. Suffering from the low conductivity, dopants such as LiTFSI (lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide) and tBP are usually required to achieve excellent hole transport properties in spiro‐OMeTAD. Nevertheless, the hygroscopicity and the migration of Li+ during device operation severely affect the device's stability. To address the aforementioned issue, a 12‐crown‐4‐based organic semiconductor (CDT) is synthesized and applied in PSCs. Notably, CDT is simultaneously doped in spiro‐OMeTAD and perovskite layer through the antisolvent method. In this way, the strong "host‐guest" interaction between crown ether and Li+ effectively inhibits its migration both in the hole transporting layer (HTL) and at the perovskite/HTM interface. Furthermore, the carbazole diphenylamine group in CDT facilitates hole transport, and meanwhile improves the hydrophobicity of the HTL. In addition, CDT added into the perovskite layer is also able to passivate defects by interacting with the undercoordinated Pb2+. Summary: In this work, the catalytic efficiency and influencing factors of supported bimetallic catalysts for the synchronised isomerisation of rice bran oil (RBO) to produce conjugated linoleic acid (CLA)‐rich RBO under supercritical conditions were investigated. The morphology and internal composition of the metal catalysts were analysed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), which revealed that Ru and Pd were successfully supported by ultra‐stable Y(USY). The catalyst and oil were synchronously isomerised in the supercritical CO2 environment, and the change in the fatty acid composition of the oil was measured by gas chromatography. Cyclostratigraphy and astrochronology are now at the forefront of geologic timekeeping. While this technique heavily relies on the accuracy of astronomical calculations, solar system chaos limits how far back astronomical calculations can be performed with confidence. High‐resolution paleoclimate records with Milankovitch imprints now allow reversing the traditional cyclostratigraphic approach: Middle Eocene drift sediments from Newfoundland Ridge are well‐suited for this purpose, due to high sedimentation rates and distinct lithological cycles. Per contra, the stratigraphies of Integrated Ocean Drilling Program Sites U1408–U1410 are highly complex with several hiatuses. Here, we built a two‐site composite and constructed a conservative age‐depth model to provide a reliable chronology for this rhythmic, highly resolved (<1 kyr) sedimentary archive. Astronomical components (g‐terms and precession constant) are extracted from proxy time‐series using two different techniques, producing consistent results. We find astronomical frequencies up to 4% lower than reported in astronomical solution La04. This solution, however, was smoothed over 20‐Myr intervals, and our results therefore provide constraints on g‐term variability on shorter, million‐year timescales. We also report first evidence that the g4–g3 "grand eccentricity cycle" may have had a 1.2‐Myr period around 41 Ma, contrary to its 2.4‐Myr periodicity today. Our median precession constant estimate (51.28 ± 0.56″/year) confirms earlier indicators of a relatively low rate of tidal dissipation in the Paleogene. Newfoundland Ridge drift sediments thus enable a reliable reconstruction of astronomical components at the limit of validity of current astronomical calculations, extracted from geologic data, providing a new target for the next generation of astronomical calculations. Plain Language Summary: The traditional cyclostratigraphic approach is to align and correlate a geologic depth‐series with an astronomical solution. However, the chaotic nature of the Solar System prevents astronomers from precisely calculating planetary motions beyond 40–50 million years ago. This in turn limits the options for geologists to use the resulting oscillations in Earth's climate system as a metronome for determining geologic time. In this study, we reversed the cyclostratigraphic approach and used the highly rhythmical sedimentary deposits from Newfoundland Ridge (North Atlantic) to back‐calculate planetary motions at ∼41 million years ago. The superior quality of the Newfoundland Ridge geoarchive originates from the combination of relatively high sedimentation rates (∼4 cm/kyr) and the time‐continuous character of our two‐site composite record between 39.5 and 42.8 million years ago. In this work, we had to first overcome considerable challenges in reconstructing the timing of sediment deposition, which we did with highly resolved geochemical measurements from two sites. We then were able to extract information on the Earth's planetary motion and on the Earth‐Moon interactions. These astronomical reconstructions based on geological data can now be used by astronomers to describe the evolution of the solar system further back in time than was previously possible. Keratinocytes, as the most dominant cell type in the epidermis, play multiple roles in skin wound healing. Recently, we have shown that a short antimicrobial peptide Pt5‐1c can promote skin wound healing via enhancing fibroblast proliferation and migration in vitro, and accelerating re‐epithelialization of murine dermal wounds in vivo.[1] However, its effects on keratinocytes is unknown. Here we clearly showed that Pt5‐1c markedly enhanced keratinocyte migration and proliferation. Moreover, Pt5‐1c stimulated keratinocyte activation by inducing the phosphorylation of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), Akt, extracellular signal‐regulated kinase (ERK), p38, and signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) in keratinocytes. Importantly, Pt5‐1c also increased collagen production, stimulated cell proliferation, and enhanced the phosphorylation of Akt, p38 and STAT3 in the wound skin tissues. These together indicate that Pt5‐1c can promote keratinocyte migration and proliferation via activation of EGFR‐mediated Akt, MAPK, and STAT3 pathways, thereby contributing to skin wound healing. The development of hole‐transporting materials (HTMs) that can passivate defects in perovskite is of great significance in improving the efficiency and long‐term stability of perovskite solar cells. To date, the investigation on HTMs mainly focus on exploring new structures, while molecular configuration is seldomly concerned. In this work, two small molecules are developed as HTMs with benzil and phenanthrene quinone as the core structure, respectively. With similar structure and the same defect passivation groups, whereas, the two molecules exhibit different configurations, thus distinct properties. Compared to 3,6‐bis(3,6‐bis(bis(4‐methoxyphenyl)amino)‐9H‐carbazol‐9‐yl)phenanthrene‐9,10‐dione (PQ) with a rigid core structure, the benzil group in 1,2‐bis(4‐(3,6‐bis(bis(4‐methoxyphenyl)amino)‐9H‐carbazol‐9‐yl)phenyl)ethane‐1,2‐dione (DB) is flexible and can adjust molecular configuration to efficiently interact with the underlying perovskite material, which is confirmed from both experimental results and theoretical simulations. The DB‐based device exhibits a high power conversion efficiency of 22.21% with excellent long‐term stability, superior to the PQ‐based device (20.22%). This study demonstrates that molecular configuration engineering will directly affect the properties of hole transport materials, as well as their interactions with perovskite, which should also be taken into consideration when devising HTMs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A new MOF‐supported heterogeneous palladium catalyst Pd/NBB‐1 has been synthesized successfully through the effective metal metathesis between Pd(CF3COO)2 and NBB‐1. NBB‐1 is a two‐dimensional zinc metal‐organic framework constructed from 2‐aminoterephthalate (NH2−H2BDC) and 2,2′‐bipyridine‐5‐carboxylate (HBPC) by solvothermal method. The replacement efficiency of Pd(II) to Zn(II) is up to 72% after only 24 hours, which is beneficial to the catalytic application. Pd/NBB‐1 with a low loading of 2 mol% works efficiently in the 1,4‐addition reaction of arylboronic acids with α,β‐unsaturated ketones in air, and its catalytic activity keeps unchanged after 3 reaction cycles. This work provides a new strategy to effectively prepare supported noble metal/MOF catalysts, which would further increase the practical applications of metal‐organic frameworks. Neurochemical events involving biosignals of different time and space dimensionalities constitute the complex basis of neurological functions and diseases. In view of this fact, electrochemical measurements enabling real‐time quantification of neurochemicals at multiple levels of spatiotemporal resolution can provide informative clues to decode the molecular networks bridging vesicles and brains. This Minireview focuses on how scientific questions regarding the properties of single vesicles, neurotransmitter release kinetics, interstitial neurochemical dynamics, and multisignal interconnections in vivo have driven the design of electrochemical nano/microsensors, sensing interface engineering, and signal/data processing.
