Tissue‐engineered extraction products, such as apoptotic extracellular vesicles (ApoEVs), significantly promote tissue regeneration, endowing them with the potential to improve osseointegration. However, there is an urgent need to determine how to effectively load these materials onto a material surface to maximize their function. Considering that all such products have a phospholipid bilayer, a phospholipid‐modified implant coating is designed that can effectively load tissue‐engineered products with a phospholipid bilayer structure. ApoEVs are effectively loaded onto the surface and the osteogenic effect improved, achieving good osseointegration. In vitro experiments show that this material improves angiogenesis by promoting macrophage M1 polarization and NO secretion in the early stages. In vivo experiments show that after implantation, it effectively improve the peri‐implant vascularization of the implant, thereby improving the new bone formation ability and osseointegration. This study provides a universal solution for loading vesicular tissue‐engineered products onto an implant surface and validates its ability to improve bone fusion using ApoEVs as an example while exploring its mechanism. INTRODUCTION: More robust non‐human primate models of Alzheimer's disease (AD) will provide new opportunities to better understand the pathogenesis and progression of AD. METHODS: We designed a CRISPR/Cas9 system to achieve precise genomic deletion of exon 9 in cynomolgus monkeys using two guide RNAs targeting the 3′ and 5′ intron sequences of PSEN1 exon 9. We performed biochemical, transcriptome, proteome, and biomarker analyses to characterize the cellular and molecular dysregulations of this non‐human primate model. RESULTS: We observed early changes of AD‐related pathological proteins (cerebrospinal fluid Aβ42 and phosphorylated tau) in PSEN1 mutant (ie, PSEN1‐ΔE9) monkeys. Blood transcriptome and proteome profiling revealed early changes in inflammatory and immune molecules in juvenile PSEN1‐ΔE9 cynomolgus monkeys. DISCUSSION: PSEN1 mutant cynomolgus monkeys recapitulate AD‐related pathological protein changes, and reveal early alterations in blood immune signaling. Thus, this model might mimic AD‐associated pathogenesis and has potential utility for developing early diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. The extensive application of multilayer ceramic capacitors provides an attractive development for terminal electrode pastes. However, the growing requirement for advanced glass materials used in terminal electrode pastes is substantiated. Therefore, to advance the development of electrode pastes, better development and deeper exploration of glass powder are required. Here, a series of BaO–ZnO–B2O3–SiO2 (BZBS) glasses were prepared by melt‐quenching technique, which are used to investigate the effect of the introduction of BaO on structure and properties of the ZnO–B2O3–SiO2 (ZBS) glass. With the introduction of BaO, the relative amount of [BO4] was much less, which made the glass network structure loosen, decreased the glass transition temperature (Tg) and increased the coefficient of thermal expansion of the glass. The decreasing contact angle was observed on the surface of a barium titanate (BaTiO3) substrate. When the BaO content was around 3–7 mol%, the stability of ZBS glass frit could be strengthened by inhibiting the precipitation of Zn2SiO4 crystal. In addition, to further characterize the effect of glass on terminal electrode paste, BZBS glass powder was adopted to prepare copper electrode paste, which was printed on the BaTiO3 substrate and subsequently fired at 800°C for 10 min. With the related copper paste containing ZBS glass doped with 7 mol% BaO, the optimum value of acid resistance and sheet resistance (1.99 mΩ) were exhibited, at which the coated copper paste formed a dense conducting layer. In this paper, we present an analytical local solution for optimal control problems applicable to a wide class of general nonlinear systems. We first introduce the optimal control problem for a general nonlinear system and formulate the associated Hamilton–Jacobi–Bellman equation. Starting from the necessary conditions for optimality represented by the Hamiltonian system of the optimal control problem, we solve the Hamilton–Jacobi equation for the associated generating functions. The generating functions are obtained in the form of series expansions by using canonical transformation theory and the semi‐tensor product of matrices. The coefficients of the generating functions satisfy simply the algebraic Riccati equation and linear algebraic equations for the second‐degree homogeneous component and higher degree components, respectively, from which an algorithm and data structure can be derived. This enables us to obtain analytical optimal feedback controllers and the corresponding Lyapunov function. Through theoretical analysis, it is established that the proposed methodology guarantees stability of the closed‐loop system. This approach is not affected by the complexity of the performance index and state equations, and most importantly, it does not require any initial admissible control law. Promoting the technique of crop straw incorporation holds great significance for soil fertility and the green development of agriculture, and the participation of farmers is crucial for the adoption of this technique. Crop straw incorporation has been carried out and promoted in China for more than 30 years, but the adoption rate among farmers remains relatively low. Based on micro survey data on farmers in Jiangsu Province, China, this study quantitatively examines the effects of farmland size and benefit expectations on farmers' willingness to incorporate crop straw (hereinafter referred to as FWIS) by using an ordered logit (ologit) model. The results show that there are significant differences in the willingness to incorporate crop straw among farmers with different farmland sizes; farmers with larger farmland sizes are less willing to adopt crop straw incorporation than those with small‐scale farmland. Benefit expectations significantly affect FWIS. Yield expectations are the key factor in improving FWIS. Cost and soil quality expectations are also important factors that affect FWIS. Plot size affects FWIS more than farmland size. A larger plot size is associated with stronger FWIS. To improve farmers' expectations of crop straw incorporation, the government should increase the use of micro‐incentive policies for farmers and enterprises that provide social services for crop straw incorporation. Promoting the circulation and integration of adjacent farmland, appropriately expanding plot size and reducing the cost of crop straw incorporation will help promote FWIS. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

BN‐embedded oligomers with different pairs of BN units were synthesized by electrophilic borylation. Up to four pairs of BN units were incorporated in the large polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). Their geometric, photophysical, electrochemical, and Lewis acidic properties were investigated by X‐ray crystallography, optical spectroscopy, and cyclic voltammetry. The B−N bonds show delocalized double‐bond characteristics and the conjugation can be extended through the trans‐orientated aromatic azaborine units. Calculations reveal the relatively lower aromaticity for the inner azaborine rings in the BN‐embedded PAH oligomers. The frontier orbitals of the longer oligomers are delocalized over the inner aromatic rings. Consequently, the inner moieties of the BN‐embedded PAH oligomers are more active than the outer parts. This is confirmed by a simple oxidation reaction, which has significant effects on the aromaticity and the intramolecular charge‐transfer interactions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A series of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), consisting of two pairs of BN units, have been designed and their synthesis has been achieved by electrophilic C−H borylation. Two conjugation extension directions can be found in these B2N2‐embedded PAHs. The B2N2‐containing backbone with shorter effective conjugation length is isoelectronic with diaryl‐fused anthracene, whereas the second derivative, with longer effective conjugation length, is isoelectronic with bis(trans‐arylvinyl)benzene. By incorporating different aryl groups, i.e. furyl, thienyl, benzo[b]furyl, and benzo[b]thienyl groups, into the two crossed directions of the B2N2‐embedded PAHs, their electronic and optical properties have been comparatively investigated by photophysical, electrochemical, and theoretical approaches. It is found that both the substituents and their conjugation extension directions have significant effects on the aromatic and photophysical properties of the B2N2‐embedded PAHs. The conjugation extension in the shorter backbone is more pronounced on the effective conjugation length than the longer backbone. Moreover, all the B2N2‐embedded PAHs behave as both Lewis acids and Lewis bases, and reversible photoluminescence switching can be observed by simply neutralizing the added Lewis acid or Lewis base. JBD has developed its unique wafer‐level mass manufacturable approach of monolithic hybrid integration of compound semiconductor functional device arrays on Si ICs, which enables the fabrication of hybrid chips with large device array and ultra‐fine pitch of a few micrometers. Red, green and blue active matrix micro‐LED (AMµLED) micro displays of VGA format with 1270ppi pixel resolution and 256 grayscales were successfully fabricated using JBD's monolithic hybrid integration technology. Further integration of a micro‐reflector array on the micro‐LED array significantly improves the emission directionality of the AMµLED micro display, resulting in an ultra‐high brightness of 3x10 6 nits for green AMµLED micro displays. The resultant monochromatic micro‐LED micro displays exhibit improved device performance compared to other micro display technologies and have great potentials in applications such as portable projectors and near‐to‐eye projection for augmented reality (AR). More importantly, the wafer‐scale monolithic hybrid integration technology offers a clear path for large volume, low cost mass production of hybrid opto‐electronic integrated circuit (OEIC) chips. We report the realization of monochromatic red, green and blue active matrix micro‐LED micro‐displays with >5,000 dpi pixel density. The micro‐displays were fabricated using a wafer‐scale monolithic hybrid integration process which shows feasibility and advantages for the mass production. A 400×240 monochromic micro‐LED micro‐display based on GaN vertical‐LED structure is presented. The micro‐display has the pixel pitch of 30 μm and the size of micro‐LEDs is only 8 μm. It is realized by bonding the GaN epi with the pre‐defined anode pad array to the specific pixel driver on the IC backplane, followed by laser lift‐off and ICP etch process to form isolated micro‐LED pixel array. The electrical connection of n‐type GaN on micro‐LEDs is done by a layer of metal‐grid which serves as a common cathode. Comparing with conventional lateral micro‐LED structure, the vertical‐LED architecture used in our micro‐LED micro‐display is more advantageous of achieving higher device performance such as better current injection, higher light extraction efficiency, low light crosstalk and is more capable of producing compact micro‐LED arrays. In addition, wafer‐level processed semi‐sphere micro‐lens array is also integrated into the micro‐display with each micro‐lens coupled to a single micro‐LED pixel. The micro‐lenses can effectively collimate divergent light emitted from micro‐LEDs leading to a significant improvement of projection brightness when used in a projection light engine. Wafer‐scale epi‐transfer process has been developed for monolithic hybrid integration of Si‐based IC and micro‐LED arrays. Monochromatic red, green, and blue Active‐Matrix micro‐LED (AMmLED) micro‐displays with a resolution of 5000+ PPI were demonstrated for the first time by JBD using this wafer‐scale monolithic hybrid integration technology, which shows feasibility and advantages for low cost mass productions. The brightness of the demonstrated AMμLED micro‐display (green) well exceeds 5x105cd/m2, representing an improvement of over 500‐times compared to the existing self‐emissive micro‐displays. The ultra‐high pixel resolution, high brightness and contrast ratio, low power consumption, and small footprint makes AMμLED micro‐displays highly desirable for various wearable electronics and AR applications. Abstract: Hybridization of silicon integrated circuits (ICs) with compound semiconductor device arrays are crucial for making functional hybrid chips, which are found to have enormous applications in many areas. Although widely used in manufacturing hybrid chips, the flip‐chip technology suffers from several limitations that are difficult to overcome, especially when the demand is raised to make functional hybrid chips with higher device array density without sacrificing the chip footprint. To address those issues, Beida Jade Bird Display Limited has developed its unique wafer‐level monolithic hybrid integration technology and demonstrated its advantages in making large‐scale hybrid integration of functional device arrays on Si IC wafers. Active matrix micro‐light‐emitting diode micro‐displays with a resolution of 5000+ pixel per inch were successfully fabricated using Beida Jade Bird Display Limited's monolithic hybrid integration technology. The general fabrication method is described, and the result is presented in this paper. The fabricated monochromatic micro‐light‐emitting diode micro‐displays exhibit improved device performance than do other micro‐display technologies and have great potentials in applications such as portable projectors and near‐to‐eye projection for augmented reality. Two series of regioisomeric luminophores that contained a dithieno[2,3- a:3′,2′- c]phenazine (DTP) unit as an electron acceptor have been designed and synthesized. To investigate the effect of substitution pattern on the optoelectronic properties of these luminophores, electron donors ( N, N-dihexylaniline or N, N-dihexyl-4-vinylaniline) were incorporated at the 2,5-, 8,11-, and 9,10-positions of the DTP unit. We found that the optoelectronic properties of the regioisomeric luminophores were greatly affected by the substitution pattern: functionalization at the 8,11-positions of the DTP unit was superior to the other two substitution patterns in extending the effective π-conjugation and strengthening the intramolecular charge-transfer interactions. Moreover, the insertion of vinyl groups between the DTP and N, N-dihexylaniline units narrowed the energy band-gap for isomers 4 and 5. However, hypsochromically shifted absorption and photoluminescence maxima were observed for isomeric luminophore 6, in which electron donors were substituted at the 2,5-positions of the DTP unit. These results should facilitate greater understanding of the structure-property relationships in regioisomeric semiconductors and present a new way to design optoelectronic materials with effective substitution patterns. Three symmetrical donor-acceptor-donor (D-A-D) luminophores ( C1, C2, and C3) with pyrazine derivatives as electron-withdrawing groups have been developed for multistimuli-responsive luminescence switching. For comparison, reference compounds R1 and R2 without the pyrazine moiety have also been synthesized. Intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) interactions can be found for all D-A-D luminophores owing to the electron-withdrawing properties of the two imine nitrogen atoms in the pyrazine ring and the electron-donating properties of the other two amine nitrogen atoms in the two triphenylamine units. Moreover, luminophores C1, C2, and C3 exhibit 'on-off-on' luminescence switching properties in mixtures of water/tetrahydrofuran with increasing water content, which is different from the 'on-off' switching for typical aggregation-caused quenching (ACQ) materials and 'off-on' switching for traditional aggregation-induced emission (AIE) materials. Additionally, upon grinding the pristine samples, luminophores C1, C2, and C3 display bathochromically shifted photoluminescence maxima that can be recovered by either solvent fuming or thermal annealing treatments. The piezofluorochromic (PFC) properties are more pronounced than those for reference compounds R1 and R2, which indicates that D-A molecules have the ability to amplify the PFC effect by tuning the ICT interactions upon tiny structural changes under pressure. Furthermore, the target luminophores demonstrate acid-responsive photoluminescence spectra that can be recovered in either basic or ambient environments. These results suggest that D-A complexes are potential candidates for multistimuli-responsive luminescence switching because their ICT profiles can be facilely tuned with tiny external stimuli. We report liquid crystal functionalized smart fabrics fabricated by gas jet spinning or electrospinning. These fabrics retain all the stimuli-responsive properties of liquid crystals. Foxtail millet is a cereal crop that contains high levels of unsaturated fatty acids, so that processed food such as instant millet powder is susceptible to lipid oxidation, which gradually leads to deteriorated flavor and quality. In this work, volatiles of millet powder samples with or without storage at room temperature for 12 months were extracted and analyzed by gas chromatography–olfactometry/mass spectrometry. In fresh steamed millet powder, hexanal, 2‐pentylfuran, and 3‐octen‐2‐one might be dominant odorants, whereas in deteriorated steamed millet powder, volatiles such as 1‐octen‐3‐ol, (E)‐2‐octen‐1‐ol, (E)‐2‐octenal, 3‐nonen‐2‐one, (E)‐2‐nonenal, decanal, 2‐undecanone, and 2‐methylnaphthalene emerged or increased over time, among which 1‐octen‐3‐ol and (E)‐2‐nonenal were highly responsible for its rancid flavor. We also compared millet powder prepared with two different processing methods, steaming and extrusion. Compared with steaming, extrusion was a cooking method of millet that helped slow the generation of oxidized flavor to some extent. When 0.04 g/kg (w/w millet) of ascorbyl palmitate was added as an antioxidant before drying, the production of unpleasant odorants was significantly inhibited, so that the quality of final products was improved.
