The paper presents the results of mathematical simulation of the processes of heat transfer and diffusion of natural gas released during combustion of natural gas in a gas infrared emitter burner, which is a source of heat and carbon dioxide supplied to the local operating zone of a large-sized production area. Numerical studies are carried out taking into account the influence of the air exchange systems on the heat and mass transfer processes in the room and the equipment located in it. The problem is solved in a flat formulation using the approximation of the k–ε model of turbulence for the flow of a gas mixture in the local operating zone and its small vicinity on supply of a relatively cold "fresh" air from the air exchange system. The concentration fields of CO2 and the distribution of carbon dioxide values in a locally enclosed small-sized operating area showed an impact of the enclosure of the CO2 concentration and air exchange intensity. A significant influence of local baffles on the temperature fields of operating zones and intensity of air circulation in such zones was also established. The problem of calculating points and magnitudes of discontinuities in the controls acting on a system described by a nonlinear vector ordinary differential equation is considered. A similar problem is well known in systems theory and belongs to the class of failure identification problems. This paper specifies a regularizing algorithm that solves the problem synchronously with the process of functioning of the control system. The algorithm is based on a feedback control method called the dynamic regularization method in the literature; this method was previously actively used in problems of online reconstruction of nonsmooth unknown disturbances. The problem of modeling a solution is studied for a nonlinear system of differential equations with constant delay, inexactly known right-hand side, and inaccurately given initial state. The case is considered when the right-hand side of the system is a nonsmooth (it is only known that it is Lebesgue measurable) unbounded function (belonging to the space of square integrable functions in the Euclidean norm). The results of experimental studies and of mathematical simulation of heat transfer processes in a room with an air exchange system and an operating gas infrared radiator are presented. Temperatures were recorded in the local working area, in which a horizontal panel simulating equipment is located. The regimes of mixed convection for variants with different emissivities were studied, and their influence on the formation temperature fields and the creation of comfortable conditions was established. We consider a guaranteed control problem for a nonlinear distributed equation of diffusion type. The problem is essentially to construct a feedback control algorithm ensuring that the solution of a given equation tracks the solution of a similar equation subjected to an unknown disturbance. The problem of the feedback control of a system of ordinary differential equations, nonlinear in phase variables, subjected to the effect of an unknown nonsmooth disturbance is discussed. The problem consists of constructing a control action formation law that guarantees compensation for a nonsmooth disturbance; i.e., it guarantees that the phase trajectory (as well as the rate of its change) of the given system follows the prescribed phase trajectory (as well as the rate of its change) for any admissible realization of the disturbance. Two cases are considered. In the first case, admissible disturbances are constrained by instantaneous restrictions, and in the second case, any function that is an element of the space of Lebesgue measurable functions summable with the square of the Euclidean norm can be an admissible disturbance. The problem is solved under conditions of inaccurate measurement at discrete times of the phase states of both systems. In the presence of instantaneous restrictions on disturbances, the problem is also solved by measuring some of the phase states. Mathematical modeling of heat transfer processes in a room with a gas infrared emitter, an air exchange system, a horizontal panel simulating equipment, and a local fence has been carried out. The system of radiative heat transfer, energy, and Navier–Stokes equations for air and heat equations for solid elements was solved. The temperature and air velocity fields obtained as a result of modeling illustrate the possibility of controlling the thermal regime of the local working area when a special fence is installed at its boundary. It was established that by changing the fence height and material one can change the local and average air temperatures in the local working area. The results of numerical studies suggest that by varying the local fence parameters one can create more comfortable temperature conditions in the local working area when gas infrared emitters operate under sufficiently intense air exchange conditions. We consider the problem of reconstructing distributed input actions (disturbances) in linear hyperbolic equations. An algorithm for solving this problem is proposed. In the case where the input action is a function of bounded variation, an upper bound for the convergence rate is established. A problem of boundary control is considered for a differential equation with distributed parameters. It is required to design an algorithm that forms a feedback control and guarantees a prescribed quality of the controlled process. More exactly, the solution of this equation should track the solution of another equation, which is subject to an unknown perturbation. Methods for solving problems of this type for systems described by ordinary differential equations are well known and are presented, in particular, within the theory of positional control. In the present paper, we study a tracking problem in which the role of the control object is played by an equation with distributed parameters. It is assumed that the solutions of the equations are measured with an error, and the only available information about the perturbation is that it is an element of the space of functions summable with the square of the Euclidean norm; i.e., the perturbation can be unbounded. On a finite time horizon, we consider a control system described by a vector differential equation with right-hand side that changes its structure at some times spaced by a distance that cannot be less than a certain given value. In between two adjacent structure change instants, the right-hand side is a function that is Lipschitz in state variables, continuous in time, and linear in the control and perturbation, which take values in some convex closed sets. It is assumed that at the structure change instants the solution of the system may experience a jump by a certain vector of which only the direction is known. A uniform mesh is specified on the system operation interval. The values of the state vector are measured (with an error) at the mesh points. We solve the problem of constructing an algorithm for the formation of a system control that ensures bringing the system trajectory to the minimum possible neighborhood of the goal set at the end time. A mathematical model of thermogravitational heat transfer process in a closed area of liquefied natural gas (LNG) tanks is constructed and a numerical study is made. An unsteady system of energy and Navier-Stokes equations in dimensionless speed vortex-stream function variables with corresponding boundary conditions is solved. Based on the results of numerical analysis of distributions of thermodynamic parameters and temperatures, which characterize the basic laws of heat transfer, the mechanisms of formation of circulating flows in the LNG are disclosed. An analysis is made of the rate of LNG evaporation from the free surface in the tank. The effect of longitudinal and transverse dimensions of the tank and the rate of heat transfer at the inner boundaries of the tank on the temperature field in the LNG storage tanks is determined. A typical porous material enriched with organic matter, soil, is considered. Investigation of the thermal regimes of such materials exposed to a high-temperature action is important for solving ecological and environmental protection problems, and also those of agriculture. Many authors have established that thermal action on the near-surface soil can have a negative effect on both the soil itself, and further development of grass and forest stands. There is a need for the development of a system of geomonitoring accounting for thermophysical processes in the soil at the level of mathematical models. Verification of such models requires the conduct of experiments. In this investigation, we propose an experimental setup for physical simulation of heat transfer processes in a layer of typical soil exposed to high temperature whose source is an inert heater. A set of thermocouples is set up in the soil layer at different depths. The real structures of α-Al2O3 – δ anion-deficient corundum crystals characterized by a nonstoichiometry level of δ ~ 0.001, which are applied in X-ray, gamma and beta dosimetry, are neutronographically investigated for the first time. Neutron-scattering measurements are performed on two crystals sintered by the Stepanov method; the anion-vacancy contents are Ca = 8 × 1016 cm–3 for the radiation-sensitive crystal and Ca < 1014 cm–3 for the crystal taken after annealing in an oxygen atmosphere and not sensitive to radiation. With pronounced indications of significant fragmentedness revealed from attestation of these two crystals, in both cases the corundum structure is recognized, and the lattice parameters and atomic coordinates were found. Three approaches are considered for processing the neutron-scattering data obtained from the crystal with the smallest oxygen deficiency (Ca < 1014 cm–3), with the measured intensities corrected in different ways. The best results, which are numerically identical within the framework of the three considered approaches, are extracted from the "ideal crystal" model. The real structure of bulk Zn1 – хМхSe (S) crystals of diluted magnetic semiconductors with М = V, Cr, Fe, Co, Ni 3d impurities is characterized by neutron diffraction. These impurities are known to greatly destabilize even the initial lattices of pure zinc chalcogenides. Data on the resulting non-uniform microstrain field induced by atomic displacements are obtained from the structural peaks along the tangential and radial directions on the above crystals within a dopant concentration range of 0.01 ≤ х ≤ 0.10. Additional nodes with q = (1/3 1/3 1/3) 2π/a (q is the wave vector and a is the cubic unit cell) emerging in the reciprocal lattice of the cubic structure are considered as evidence for a pre-transition to the fcc (face-centered cubic)–hcp (hexagonal close-packed) phase state, which implies transitions from the fcc lattice along an 8-ray non-Lifshitz star with the wave vector k5 = μ(b1 + b2 + b3), where b1, b2, b3 are the reciprocal lattice vectors and μ ≈ 1/3. The objective of the survey is to identify the specificities in the functions of ATPase enzyme systems in blood and the longest back muscle in sheep of two breeds and different ages. Lambs and wethers of Texel and Kuibyshev breeds sampled on the analog principle are the subject of the survey according to the current animal-keeping and feeding standards developed by the Ernst All-Russia Research Institute for Animal Husbandry. It has been ascertained that the activities of Mg2+, Na+, K+-ATPase, Mg2+-ATase, and Na+, K+-ATPase in the lamb's red-blood cell membranes are determined by the age at high significance levels (P < 0.001) of 99.45, 99.41, and 98.46%, respectively, while their activities in the wethers' longest back muscle are determined by the age at the levels of 81.09, 85.16, and 83.21%, respectively. The correlation analysis has proven the effects of age on the ATPase activity in the membranes of the red blood cells and the longest back muscle сells. With respect to red blood cells, the correlation is negative, while the muscle tissue is found to have a positive correlation. No significant effect of the breed specificity on the activities of Mg2+, Na+, K+-ATPase, Mg2+-ATPase, and Na+, K+-ATPase in the red-blood and muscle tissue cells was identified. We study the problem of reconstructing an unknown input acting on a system described by a nonlinear vector differential equation with constant delay. Both the input and the solution (trajectory) of the system are unknown. During the operation of the system, its phase states are measured at discrete times. The measurements, in general, are inaccurate. It is required to give a dynamic stable rule for the approximate reconstruction of the input, which means that the approximate values must be found in real time and the approximations must be arbitrarily accurate for sufficiently exact observations. Abstract—Behavioral activity of rats in experimental hypothyreosis and its correction with iodine-containing drugs was investigated. It has been demonstrated that the administration of thyrostatic mercazolilum to white rats for 8 weeks leads to experimental hypothyreosis accompanied by a decrease in thyroxine (T4) level to 5.25 ng/mL and an increase in thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) level to 8.75 ng/mL. In the control (healthy) animals, the average levels of T4 and TSH were 43.70 and 1.73 ng/mL, respectively. When the animals with experimental hypothyreosis received an intramuscular injection of iodine-containing drugs (Sedimin-Fe+ and Sedimin-Se+) twice with an interval of 10 days and a preparation of bio-iron with microelements orally for 20 days, the level of thyroxine rose to 52.7 ± 3.48 and 54.8 ± 4.17 ng/mL in response to Sedimin-Fe+ and Sedimin-Se+ administration, respectively, and to 56.2 ± 4.13 ng/mL after the ingestion of feed enriched with bio-iron and microelements. In animals that did not receive the drugs, the T4 level was 5.25 ± 0.55 ng/mL. The levels of thyroid-stimulating hormone after the treatment with iodine-containing preparations were 0.37 ± 0.14, 0.51 ± 0.18, 0.47 ± 0.15, and 8.75 ± 0.55 ng/mL for Sedimin-Fe+, Sedimin-Se+, bio-iron with microelements, and animals with experimental hypothyreosis, respectively.
