Remote door lock control using an android based Arduino. where homeowners can lock and unlock by controlling the door lock via a cellphone that is often carried everywhere. So it is hoped that a remote door locking system can be via a smartphone (smartphone) to assist in locking without having to go to the door. In addition to that, the software created is expected to make it easier for homeowners to lock the door without having to go to the door by controlling the door lock using a cellphone to make it easier to open and lock the doors. The method used is the method of data collection and system development methods. The method of data collection is the method of observation and literature study. While the system development method used is the waterfall method. Application control door locks remotely using Arduino based on android were modeled using UML diagrams (Unified Modeling Language). The conclusion of the application made can be used to lock and unlock the door of the house using a cellphone. The creation of an Android-based home door lock application can make it easier for homeowners to open the lock and homeowners are not afraid to lose their house keys. It is expected that the addition of features in the door lock control applications remotely using Arduino based on android not only controls the door lock.

This research is located at Sop Island, Sorong, West Papua. The data was collected using the Belt Transect method, stretching a line for 50 meters with a width of vision for 2.5 meters to the left and 2.5 meters to the right. The depth of the transect is 5 meters, recorded all genera from Family Fungiidae. Five genera were found on The Sop Island, namely Ctenactis, Fungia, Herpolitha, Polyphyllia, and Sandalolitha, but only Ctenactis, Fungia, and Sandalolitha were found on the three sites of observation. Fungia is the most abundant genera found at Sop Island. So, however, the study also found many unhealthy symptoms that infected Fungia. Of the three observation sites, six categories of unhealthy coral are found: Tissue Loss - non-predation - Coloured Band Disease, Tissue Discoloration - White, Tissue Discoloration non-white, Compromised Health Growth Anomalies, and Unknown. The most common categories infected with the Fungiidae at Sop Island are Tissue Loss - non-predation - Coloured Band Disease, Tissue Discoloration - White. Agonizingly, researchers found coral disease at every site.

A common problem that occurs very often in society is motorcycle theft. The rampant cases of motorcycle theft, which are even carried out in the parking lot of homes, need to find the right solution. One solution to handling motorcycle theft cases and securing motorbikes is by installing smart vehicle technology. The purpose of this research is to design a motorcycle safety system based on the Internet of Things. The design uses the Arduino Mega microcontroller, the ESP8266 wifi module, a fingerprint sensor, and the Blynk application on a smartphone. Hardware design with fingerprint and microcontroller integration then designing IoT-based applications with the ESP8266 and combining a security system with notifications to smartphones. Application this can help to turn on and off the engine of two-wheeled motorized vehicles remotely, can assist users in supervising or monitoring two-wheeled motorized vehicles.

Solar and geothermal hybrid system will be promising in the upcoming years, Flores has both energies potential. The use of diesel electric power plant (PLTD) may harmed the environment, the hybrid system with storage energy can be an alternative solution to substitute PLTD. Hence, there is an opportunity to design and implement a hybrid geothermal and solar power plant for Flores Island. Based on existing geothermal fluid characteristics in Flores Island, a hybrid power plant is designed to comprising of a single flash geothermal power generation, a solar collector system with parabolic trough collectors (PTC) either in an East-West (E–W) or a North-South (N–S) alignment, and a thermal energy storage (TES) system with synthetic oil for heat transfer fluid (HTF) and a mixture of salts for storing thermal energy. The hybrid power plant’s operation is designed based on the result of the electricity load study for Flores Island. Solar energy potential for Flores Island is predicted by combining clear sky model empirical formulas and 2017–2019 sunshine duration data from local wheather station. Steady mass and energy balance analyses via Aspen HYSYS were performed to obtain electric power generation capacity for each standalone geothermal power plant and hybrid power plant. Besides, a comparison of carbon dioxide emission from the same capacity of a diesel-electric power plant, a standalone geothermal power plant, and a hybrid power plant is presented. The hybrid power plant is designed to have a solar collector system with a N–S alignment PTC system in which daily average solar irradiation is predicted to be 5.5 kWh/m2/day and a TES volume of 3,000 m3. The land area to be cleared for the solar collector system is estimated as 3.0 hectares (7.5 acres). For a steam turbine inlet pressure of 10 bar, a condenser pressure of 0.08 bar, and 1,215 operation hours per year, the hybrid power plant can produce 5,450 MWh/year of electric energy. The carbon dioxide emission reduction for standalone operation and a hybrid operation are 86% and 93%, respectively, compared to that of a PLTD.

The effect of digital transmission impairments is seen from a diagram called an eye pattern. Measurements of the device can be represented in a simulation. Our motivation in conducting this simulation aims to dig deeper into the variation of parameter changes that exist in improving the eye pattern opening angle. The raised cosine pulse with roll-off (a) of 0.3 was used as the basis for this study, using the Matlab simulation. Important parameter values have been explored to show the best data. Finally, we suggest that we continue to explore optimization techniques for the best results for this eye pattern visualization.

The research purpose is to analyze digital flipbook immunopedia (DFI) learning media implementation for immune system concept mastery improvement. The research method used quasi-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design. The research carried out at SMAN 1 Cibinong, Indonesia in Grade XI of MIPA. Samples consisted of 62 students. Instruments used in the research were in the form of multiple-choice questions of 40 questions. The instrument grid refered to a revised Bloom’s Taxonomy levels with indicators of C1 to C6. The instruments were valid and had a significantly high reliability. The Wilcoxon test result of 0.000 indicated the effect of DFI on learning. Average total result of Normalized Gain was 0.81, which was high and the Effect Size test result was 2.37 indicating a strong effect. It proved that DFI could improve the immune system concept mastery. The immune system learning should utilize digital learning media, such as flipbook that could assist in the achievement of concept mastery.

This research aims to determine the effect of the Bio-Repropedia website based on reading, mind mapping, and sharing (RMS) learning model of reproductive system materials to improve student biological literacy. The method used is a quasi-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. Sample of 61 students were taken random sampling from the class XI IPA SMAN 16 Jakarta, Indonesia student population. The instrument used is biological literacy oriented tests amounted to 30 items. Data were analyzed using descriptive methods, t test and normalized gain. The results showed an increase in biological literacy due to the application of the Bio-Repropedia website based RMS to reproductive system learning. The normalized gain score of 0.69 indicated that the Bio-Repropedia website is effective at improving biological literacy. The Biorepropedia Website based on RMS is best at improving the multidimensional aspects of biological literacy and the concept of menstruation of the reproductive system.

Environmental problem-solving skill is defined as a person’s skill to find solutions to the differences between the current environment and the expected environment. This study aimed to analyze the correlation between ecological literacy, environmental awareness, and academic ability with environmental problem-solving skills. The research method used was descriptive quantitative with survey techniques. The respondents consisted of 245 students of grade 11th science from 3 Adiwiyatas’ Senior High Schools in Tangerang City. The study used descriptive quantitative methods with survey techniques. The research instrument used in this study were tests and questionnaires. The Pearson Product Moment correlation formula tested the research hypothesis at α = 0.05. The results showed a strong enough positive relationship between ecological literacy, environmental awareness, and academic ability with environmental problem-solving skills with a correlation coefficient of 0.462. Based on these results, it can be concluded that an increase will follow the higher the score of ecological literacy, environmental awareness, and academic ability in the score of the environmental problem-solving skill. Other schools are also expected to implement the Adiwiyata program so that students can develop ecological literacy, environmental awareness, academic ability, and environmental problem-solving skills.

Multilevel inverter is a converter that converts DC power sources into AC power sources with the voltage output higher than two levels. Conventional multilevel inverter topology for five levels that is currently developing generally uses eight components of power switches. In this paper, a five-level multilevel inverter topology is proposed by reducing the power switch component to four and aided with two pin diodes and capacitors as voltage couplings. The simulation with MATLAB that has been done shows various advantages of this topology compared to conventional multilevel inverter topologies. Results and discussion This topology compare the switching techniques used between Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) and Sinus Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) for five-level multilevel inverter. Cohesiveness in switching techniques topology is proposed and validated by using passive filter. The harmonic analysis performed by the proposed topology could reduce the output voltage with the low harmonics.

Duckweed has been used as animal feed which contains high nutrients, ie proteins and amino acids, but the water content is high. This is a limitation in its use Therefore, research was conducted to improve dry matter, mineral content and lower duckweed crude fat content. Duckweed fermentation is divided into two stages, firstly, Trichoderma harzianum (Th) (3x107 spores/100 grams substrate) with added ZnCO3 (186 ppm) and dl-methionine (286 ppm), secondly, Saccharomyces cerevisiae (Sc) (3x107 spores/100 grams of a substrate). Completed randomized design (CRD) was used in experimental design with 20 experimental units, the treatments consist of P1 (Fermentation using Th for 1day continued with Sc for 9 days), P2 (Th for 3 days continued with Sc for 7 days), P3 (Th 5 days continued with Sc 5 days), P4 (Th 7 days continued with Sc 3 days), P5 (Th 9 days continued with Sc 1 day) with four replications. Indonesia’s lignite coal and sawdust production are 131,05 and 11,82 million tonnes, respectively, which are potential to become raw material of hybrid coal through co-pyrolysis. Hybrid coal utilization will reduce non-neutral CO2 emission, a part of CO2 emission released from combustion of biomass. The aim of this study is to determine the effects on biomass composition and co-pyrolysis retention time on reduction of non-neutral CO2 emission from combustion of hybrid coal in power plant. Co-pyrolysis was conducted in a vertical tubular furnace under an inert condition in atmospheric pressure and temperature 300° C. Biomass composition and co-pyrolysis retention time was varied from 20 to 40 %-mass and from 30 to 90 minutes, respectively. Hybrid coal was characterized with proximate, ultimate and calorific value analysis. The result of analysis was used as an input on simulation to determine reduction of non-neutral CO2 emission on hybrid coal combustion in power plant. An increase in co-pyrolysis retention time (CRT) from 30 to 90 minutes increases the CO2 emission from 13.25 to 13.30 %-vol. While increase in biomass composition from 20 to 40 %-mass reduce CO2 emission from 13.18 to 12.81 %-vol. Non-neutral CO2 emission reduction rises from 24.22 to 26.86 % along with the increased of biomass composition from 20 to 40 %-mass. Average of non-neutral CO2 emission reduction is about 26.30 % in all variation. CO2 emission of hybrid coal as fuel for power plant increased along with the increased of co-pyrolysis retention time (CRT), which was about 780-830 kg CO2/MWh. The highest CO2 emission was achieved from co-pyrolysis product hybrid coal utilization with 30 %-mass of biomass composition.

Metacognitive skill is the process of thinking about thinking, process of developing self-awareness, the ability to self-assess and how to learn and solve the problems at hand. An important dimension to the metacognitive process is the knowledge of thinking skills in planning, regulating, and evaluating an academic task. Metacognitive skill can be trained using a learning model, one of which is Cirsa, a learning developed by integrating a CIRC-based scientific approach. This study aims to measure and know the effect of Cirsa learning on students’ metacognitive skill. The research method used is quasi-experiment using pretest-postest nonequivalent control group design. The study involved 248 students, 8th grade on Biology subject at MTS Al Hidayah Citaringgul Bogor as the research sample. The development of metacognitive instrument refered to MAI (Metacognition Awareness Inventory). The results showed that Cirsa learning model had an effect on the students’ metacognitive ability with the sig value. of 0,000. Cirsa learning proved superior to CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) and conventional learning on human digestive and excretory system topics. Teaching Biological topics with a scientific approach is a demand in the K-13. Therefore, the authors suggest teachers to develop students’ metacognitive skill with Cirsa learning which emphasize on reading and scientific-based activities.

This research was conducted in the multilevel marketing industry. Unprofessional salespersons behavior and responsibility can ruin the image of the multilevel marketing industry and distrust to the multilevel marketing industry. This leads to decreased company revenue due to lack of public interest in multilevel marketing products. Seeing these conditions, researcher develop training programs to improve the competence of salespersons in making sales. It was done by looking at factors that affect the level of salespersons sales. The research analyzes several factors that influence the salesperson's sales level: presentation skills, questioning ability, adaptability, technical knowledge, self-control, interaction involvement, sales environment, and intrapersonal skills. Through the analysis of these factors with One Sample T-Test and Multiple Linear Regression methods, researchers design a training program for salespersons to increase their sales. The developed training for salespersons is basic training and special training and before training was given, salespersons need to be assessed for the effectivity and efficiency reasons.

The cross-sectional examinations of oxide scales formed by oxidation on the surface of FeCr alloys and Ferritic Steel that implanted with lanthanum and titanium dopants were observed and investigated. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) coupled with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) has been used to study the cross-sectional oxides produced by specimens after oxidation process. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis was used to strengthen the analysis of the oxide scale morphology, oxide phases and oxidation products. Cross-sectional observations show the effectiveness of La implantation for improving thinner and stronger scale/substrate interface during oxidation process. The result shows that the thickness of oxide scales formed on the surface of La implanted FeCr alloy and ferritic steel was found less than 3 μm and 300 μm, respectively. The oxide scale formed on the surface of La implanted specimens consisted roughly of Cr2O3 with a small amount of FeO mixture, which indicates that lanthanum implantation can improve the adherence, reduce the growth of the oxide scale as well as reduce the Cr evaporation. On the other side, the oxide scale formed on the surface of FeCr alloys and ferritic steel that implanted with titanium dopant was thicker, indicating that significant increase in oxidation mass gain. It can be noticed that titanium implantation ineffectively promotes Cr rich oxide. At the same time, the amount of Fe increased and diffused outwards, which caused the formation and rapid growth of FeO.

This paper presents a design of altitude stabilization of QuadRotor based on type-2 fuzzy and fuzzy PID. This practical design is implemented outdoor. Barometric and sonar sensor were used in this experiment as an input for the controller YoHe. The throttle signal as a control input was provided by the controller to leveling QuadRotor in particular altitude and known well as altitude stabilization. The parameter of type-2 fuzzy and fuzzy PID was tuned in several heights to get the best control parameter for any height. Type-2 fuzzy produced better result than fuzzy PID but had a slow response in the beginning.

X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis was used to characterize the oxide scale morphology and to identify the phases and oxidation products. Furthermore, Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) coupled with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) have been used to study the cross-sectional oxides produced by specimens after oxidation process. The cross-sectional investigation shows that the oxide scale formed on the surface of FeCr alloys consisted roughly of Cr2O3 with a small amount of FeO mixture. The outward diffusivity of Chromium to form Cr2O3 protective layers vary significantly occurrences on the surface of FeCr alloy with smallest crystallite size (38.51 nm), the scale had an enriched Cr content which improves the adherence of the oxide scale to the substrate, in another word, it increases the oxidation resistance. While the oxide scale formed on the surface of FeCr alloy with largest crystallite sizes (76.60 nm) had an enriched Fe content which reduces the resistance to oxidation, and adherence to the substrate. The thickness of oxide scale formed on nanocrystalline FeCr alloy with smallest crystallite sizes was found around 8 μm thick, which three-time thinner than FeCr alloy with largest crystallite sizes.

The effect of screw rotating speed on cold feed rubber blending production were evaluated. The specimens were prepared by using QSM 200 extruding machine with variable screw rotating speed 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16 and 20 RPM. The temperature set in the screw and head of the barrel was around 80 °C by using Temperature Controll Unit (TCU), and was set around 70°C in zone 1 and 2. Mooney Viscometer was used to evaluate the viscosity and Mooney Scorch Time of cold rubber blending before and after extruding process. In addition, the dynamic rubber process analyzer was used to evaluate the Die Swell of rubber blending after extruding process. The result indicated that the increase of screw rotating speed has a significant effect to increase the flow rate, temperature and the viscosity of the rubber blending. Otherwise, the Mooney Scorch Time (MST) increases due to the decrease of the screw rotating speed. It does not have a significant effect to the die swell of rubber blending.

This paper is an experimental study that aimed at figuring out the effect of screw rotation speed on the viscosity, mooney scorch time and dieswell of rubber-compound blending prepared by GS/w 250 Extruder Machine to determine the appropriate parameter setting for the expected rubber-compond specification. The screw rotation speed was set at 10, 20, 40 RPM and the three-zone temperature of the screw extruder was set by the TCU. Viscosity and Mooney Scorch Time (MST)of rubber-compound were evaluated before and after extruding processusing the Mooney Viscometer test equipment. The Die Swell of the rubber-compound were evaluated after blending process using the dynamic rubber process analyzer. The result showed that the Viscosity and Mooney Scorch Timeof rubber-compound before extuder process was around 56.59 mooney and 19.69 minute. After extruding process, the value of Mooney Viscosity was consecutively around 51.55, 51.25, 50.55 mooney and the value of Die Swell was consecutively around 0.493, 0.536, 0.553Lb-in. The value of Mooney Scorch Time was consecutively around 19.00, 15.47, 17.37 minute. The results indicates that, the increase of screw rotation speed decrease the Viscosityand increase the Die Swell of the rubber-compound.

Catfish (Clarias gariepinus) is one of the familiar freshwater fish cultured in Indonesia farmer. One of the reason is the high mortality of the catfish infected by Aeromonas hydrophila and Saprolegnia sp. Motile Aeromonas septicemia (MAS) is a common bacterial disease, caused by Aeromonas hydrophila, which affects freshwater fish. In Southeast Asia, the outbreak of this disease was firstly reported from West Java in 1980, when a total of 82.5 tons a month of catfish were lost, while in Central Java in 1984, the total loss was 1.6 tons. Saprolegniosis can cause economic loss due to high mortality from its case reaching 10% to 50%. This research aimed to identify and determine the percentage of A. hydrophila and Saprolegnia sp. the catfish farmed in bozem Moro Krembangan, Surabaya, East Java. Meanwhile, a supporting parameter in this research is the value of water quality parameter including pH, temperature, ammonia and dissolved oxygen that were measured during sampling. The results showed that of the 20 samples taken from the two cages, 19 fish were positively infected by A. drophila. percentage of infections of A. hydrophila that infect umbo catfish in Moro Krembangan, was 95%, while the percentage Saprolegnia sp. was 90%.

We study thermodynamic stability of static Banados–Teitelboim–Zanelli (BTZ) black hole solutions in the framework of dilaton gravity and investigate the effects of the dilaton field on the stability of the solutions. We find that these solutions can represent a dilaton BTZ black hole with a horizon provided the dilaton parameter satisfies . We obtain the temperature and the entropy of the solutions. Using the counterterm method, we calculate the quasilocal mass and check the first law of black hole thermodynamics. Finally, we analyze the thermodynamic stability in the canonical ensemble and show that the system is thermally stable for , while for the system has an unstable phase.

A novel aluminum iron oxide (Al/AlFe2O4/p-Si) Schottky photodiode was successfully fabricated via the sol-gel coating process. The microstructure of the spinel ferrite (AlFe2O4) was examined by atomic force microscopy. The current-voltage characteristics of the fabricated photodiode were studied under dark and different illumination conditions at room temperature. By using the thermionic emission theory, the forward bias I-V characteristics of the photodiode are analyzed to determine the main electrical parameters such as the ideality factor (n) and barrier height (Phi(B0)) of the photodiode. The values of n and Phi(B0) for all conditions are found to be about 7.00 and 0.76 eV, respectively. In addition, the values of series resistance (R-s) are determined using Cheung's method and Ohm's law. The values of Rs and shunt resistance (R-sh) are decreased with the increase of illumination intensity. These new spinel ferrites will open a new avenue to other spinel structure materials for optoelectronic devices in the near future.
