The title complex, [ReNCl(C 24 H 20 NP 2 S 2 )(C 8 H 11 P) 2 ], is formed during the reaction of [ReNCl 2 (Me 2 PhP) 3 ] with a stoichiometric amount of Na(SPh2PNPPh2S) in dichloromethane/methanol. The equatorial sphere of the six-coordinate complex is occupied by two Me2PhP ligands and the tetraphenyldithioimidodiphosphinate anion, which binds in a bidentate manner via the sulfur donors. The chloro ligand is arranged in a position trans with respect to the terminal nitrido N atom, with exceptionally long Re-Cl bond lengths [2.598(4) and 2.632 (5) A for the two crystallographically independent molecules] due to the structural trans influence of 'N 3-' .

Dimeric units of the almost planar title compound, C 8 H 11 N 4 S + .Cl - , are formed by N-H. . -Cl hydrogen c- bonds between the Cl- anion and the H atom of the to protonated pyridinium N atom, one H atom of the terminal NH2 group of one thiosemicarbazone molecule and the second NH2 H atom of a second molecule. The dimeric units are stacked in layers. The C-S bond length is 1.681 (3) A and considerable double-bond character can be detected for the C-N bonds.

mer-[TcCl3(Me2PhP)3] reacts with potassium thiocyanate with the replacement of only one Cl− ligand by NCS− and forms selectively (OC-6–12)dichlorotris(dimethylphenylphosphine)(thiocyanato-κN)technetium(III) {mer,trans-[TcCl2(NCS)(Me2PhP)3]}. No evidence could be found for the formation of the cis analogue. The title compound crystallizes in monomeric units. The Tc atom is coordinated in a distorted octahedral manner with the two chloride ligands in trans positions to each other. The NCS− ligand is N-bonded with a Tc—N bond length of 2.104 (3) A.

The title compound, [TcCl 2 (C 4 H 10 O 2 PS 2 )(C 8 H 11 P) 2 ], is formed during the reaction of [TcNCl 2 (Me 2 PhP) 3 ] with excess sodium diethyldithiophosphate involving cleavage of the technetium-nitrido bond. The Cl ligands are trans with respect to each other, with a mean Tc-Cl distance of 2.3545 (6) A. The diethyldithiophosphate is bonded as a chelate ligand with Tc-S bond lengths of 2.4639 (7) and 2.4787 (6) A.

The title compound consists of well separated molecules of [Re(C 6 H 5 N)(CH 3 O)(NCS) 2 (C 18 H 15 P) 2 ]. The Re atom is six-coordinate in a distorted octahedral environment. The two triphenylphosphine ligands are arranged trans to each other and there is a methoxy group in the position trans to the phenylimido group. The Re-NPh distance is 1.744(4)A and the NCS ligands are coordinated via the N atom.

The title compound crystallizes with discrete [ReOCl 2 -(C 3 H 7 O)(C 18 H 15 P) 2 ] units. The coordination sphere of the metal atom is approximately octahedral with the bulky phosphine ligands trans with respect to each other. The O=Re-O unit is nearly linear with an angle of 174.25 (9)°. Both Re-Cl bond lengths, as well as both Re-P lengths, are equal within their standard deviations.

The title compound consists of well-separated units of (Re(OH)(NCS) 3 (Ph3P) 2 ] complexes and MeOH solvent molecules. The Re atom is six-coordinate in a distorted octahedral coordination sphere. The two triphenylphosphine ligands are arranged trans to each other. The ReOH distance is 2.171 (4) A and lies in the range for a single Re-O bond. The NCS ligands are coordinated via nitrogen

The title compound, trans-bisaquabis[1,2-ethanediylbis(diphenylphosphine)]technetium tetraphenylborate, [Tc(C 26 H 24 P 2 ) 2 (H 2 O) 2 [B(C 6 H 5 ) 4 ], consists of packed [Tc(H 2 O) 2 (dppe) 2 ] + cations [dppe is 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane] and tetraphenylborate anions. The Tc atom is coordinated in an octahedral environment. The two aqua ligands are in a trans arrangement with Tc-O distances of 2.307 (4) and 2.252 (4) A and an O1-Tc-O2 angle of 175.7 (2) o . The equatorial Tc-P distances fall in the range 2.493 (2)-2.505 (2) A

The title complex crystallizes as a tetraethanol solvate, [Ni(C9H10N3O2S)2]·4C2H6O, with the metal on a centre of inversion. Two singly deprotonated ligands coordinate the metal atom in a planar fashion. The metal complexes are organized into layers by an extended network of hydrogen bonds involving the NH2 groups, the phenolic OH groups and the solvent mol­ecules.

Tris(phenylselanyl)methane, C 19 H 16 Se 3 , crystallizes in the rhombohedral space group R3, with the CH group situated on a threefold axis. The selenium-carbon bond to the aromatic ring is slightly shorter than that to the aliphatic C atom. The tetrahedral angles at the methane C atom range between 107.4(1) and 111.5(1)°.
