This paper is intended to discus the construction of granular logic system under variable fuzzy criterion condition and the formal representation of the reasoning of granular logic system so as to study the application of granular computing from another perspective and to facilitate the application of granular computing in artificial intelligence with uncertainty. The change law of fuzzy criterion variability can be described by the transformation of qualitative and quantitative attributes in attribute theory. On the basis that the concept and logic computing formula of attribute granule are given, a granular logic system is initially established and the logic reasoning is described using the formalization method of Petri Net, showing that the reasoning is effective and operations of thinking like cognition, recognition, judging and reasoning can be well expressed.

This paper discusses how to reveal the cognitive operation of human being from the perspective of granular computing, and discusses the uncertainty, ambiguity and other basic issues of cognition, and distinguishes, judges and identifies its link with thought operation. Human brain can only receive messages of different sensory attributes. A thing's state, movement and change process are reflected by its attributes and change process. Set up a granular computing model based on attributes and the judgment criterion change process and work out the basic logic rules for granular computing. The results show that this method can reflect the identification and judgment process with the attributes of uncertainty. At the same time, messages on granular conversion can be fully expressed through the definition of qualitative mapping, so as to better reveal the essential reason for ambiguous cognition of human. This model provides a new convenient tool for the study and stimulation of human's advanced intelligence and image thinking.

The transports of modern oil, gas and water are in need of pipeline design, usually we build on Extreme Value Model of polybasic function, and then find the numerical solution with mathematical software to make the pipeline construction costs to the minimum. This paper employs two basic situations between the pipeline design of the CPC pipeline and non-shared length pipeline with the same and different costs to establish the extreme model. And the classic problems and solutions of Fermat point are obtained to meet the analytical solution of the extreme value models.

The DC and analog/RF performance of p-channel Schottky barrier Si and Ge nanowire transistors are simulated and some impact factors are studied. The results suggest that 100meV and 50meV are the most optimized Schottky barrier height for intrinsic gain and cutoff frequency respectively. Thinner nanowires enhance the drivability of silicon devices while impair that of germanium devices. With gate length scaled down, the intrinsic gain degrades, but cutoff frequency and intrinsic delay benefit from smaller capacitances.

The performance of n-channel gate-all-around silicon nanowire FETs with asymmetric barrier heights at source/drain (ASB-SiNW-FET) was simulated. Some impact factors are studied. The results suggest that the drain current and threshold voltage are mainly determined by source-side barrier height (S-SBH). Increasing S-SBH or decreasing nanowire radius can optimize sub-threshold slope, while decreasing S-SBH can enhance the drain current and suppress the fluctuation of threshold voltage.

Double gate SBFET with asymmetric barrier heights at source/drain and the symmetric DG-SBFET are simulated. A comparative study between them is made. We have found that the DG-ASBFET is more appropriate for LOP and LSPT applications. Furthermore, the DG-ASBFET shows a better scale ability and better immunity to the short channel effects.

In order to prevent and monitor the faults of the cutting unit of the motor and deceleration system of the shearer, this study analyses the shaft’s torsional vibration transmission and provides a mechanical model of concentrated mass for EDW-150-2L Series electrical traction shearer’s motor and deceleration system. Take the cutting resistance with simple harmonic vibration for example. The torsional vibration equation of shaft’s output terminal is deduced theoretically and analyses its vibration type.

The performance of the n-channel Schottky barrier MOSFET with asymmetric barrier height at source/drain (A-SBFET) was numerically simulated. The impact factors on the performance are studied. The results suggest the on-state characteristics of the devices are mainly determined by the source-side barrier height (SBH). Increasing SBH or decreasing body thickness can optimize the sub-threshold slope, and decreasing SBH can enhance the on-state current.

We have developed an optimized model for electron behavior in Cu-line and we have implemented it using Monte Carlo method. Our model takes into account not only four normal scatterings but also the grain boundary scattering and the surface roughness scattering. The model has been tested with different line width and providing a good agreement with both calculated results and ITRS data.

ISAR real-time imaging algorithm, the hardware platform and the system structure of the processor are introduced. The high resolution ISAR images are given after imaging for the measured dada from ground-based radar. The imaging results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed system.
