Objective: To analyze the profile of technical and higher-level health professionals contaminated by covid-19 in Brazil. Methods: Cross-sectional, quantitative study, developed using data from the National Household Sample Survey (PNAD) COVID 2020, with 2,794 technical and higher-level health workers. The variables available in the PNAD COVID database for the months of July, August, September, October and November 2020 were considered. The PNAD COVID data were transported to a database created in MS-Excel and analyzed with statistics descriptive. Results: Professionals with a technical level were the ones who were most contaminated with covid-19, mainly in the states of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Maranhão; with the following characteristics: female; of the mixed race; with the home already paid off, being responsible for the home; not constituting another job; mean age 40 years; the main symptom evidenced was headache; and more than 80% reported no comorbidities. Conclusion: The current pandemic scenario, for health professionals, highlights the current and future damage, which can affect the mental health of these workers, clarifying the need for further studies and perspectives on these workers. Objective: To analyze the scientific productions available in the literature on the incidence of Burnout Syndrome in the professionals of the nursing team. Methods: Integrative literature review conducted in March 2020, in the LILACS, SCIELO, BDENF and PubMed databases. Sample composed of nine articles, after selection based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria previously established. The controlled descriptors of the Health Science Descriptors (DeCS) "Professional Exhaustion", "Nursing Team", "Prevalence" and the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) were used "Burnout Professional", "Nursing Team", " Prevalence ", using the Boolean operator and to perform the research. Results: The Burnout Syndrome among nursing professionals has a high incidence, showing more pronounced values in mobile emergency care services, but with something different, a reality also in the context of primary health care. The profile of the professionals most affected by the syndrome were women, with less training time and shorter time in the unit, double employment, high demands for work with low control and social support. Conclusion: There is a need for organizational restructuring, opening institutional spaces for discussions between managers and nursing professionals, in the direction of developing strategies aimed at promoting workers' health. Objective: Work accidents occurred in a public reference maternity hospital were analyzed. Methods: Cross-sectional study carried out with data from 102 injured professionals in a public reference maternity hospital. Descriptive statistical analysis and Fisher's exact test were performed. Results: The study pointed out the highest annual prevalence of occupational accidents in 2017 (2.44%), with a predominance of females (75.5%) and workers with 1 to 5 years of service (32%). The most affected professional was the Nursing Technician (38.6%); hands / fingers were found to be the most affected body parts (53.6%) and sharp perforations as the most commonly found causative agents (48.5%). Conclusion: There was a need for greater investment in continuing education actions in relation to notification and preventive measures with a view to reducing the occurrence of work-related injuries. Objective: Identify the types of violence suffered by nurses working in mobile pre-hospital care. Methods: Descriptive study. Data collection took place from July to September 2018, in pre-hospital care units, in the city of Rio de Janeiro. A questionnaire containing questions about violence at work was used, answered by 67 nurses. The data were analyzed using absolute and relative frequencies. Results: It was identified that 49.2% (n = 33) of the participants suffered physical violence, 86.6% (n = 58) verbal abuse and 16.4% (n = 11) sexual harassment in the workplace. Patients and their families, the general public, superiors, coworkers, support service employees and traffickers stood out as authors of the violence. Violences occurred on public roads, homes, communities, inside ambulances and bases for pre-hospital care. There was a predominance of verbal aggressions during work activities. Conclusion: There is an urgent discussion on the phenomenon of violence with the participation of managers and professionals for the development of institutional programs that recognize the dangerousness of pre-hospital work. Objective: To analyze the process of articulation between the Reference Center for Occupational Health and the Basic Health Unit. Methods: Exploratory, descriptive and observational study, with a qualitative approach using the Discourse Analysis technique proposed by Fiorin, using the scenarios of researches the Reference Center in Occupational Health, João Pessoa and the Basic Health Unit Integrating Lives. Results: Users use Primary Health Care as a gateway to the health system, however, the significant majority of professionals participating in the research, only resolve the symptoms and do not intervene in the origin of the problems. Conclusion: A worrying disarticulation between Primary Health Care and the Reference Center for Occupational Health was revealed and some intervention proposals were listed in the work process aimed at overcoming this problem. Objective: To analyze the relation between stress and resilience at work in federal civil servants of an educational institution in the south of Brazil. Method: Cross-sectional study, conducted in 2018, with 526 federal civil servants from a university in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. A questionnaire composed of sociodemographic, work, habits and health variables was used; Job Stress Scale and Resilience at Work Scale 20 - Brazil. Descriptive and multivariate statistical analysis was used. For associations, Pearson's Chi-Square and Fisher's Exact tests were used when p <0.05 and Poisson's Regression. The ethical principles of Resolution 466/2012 were followed. Results: Public servants presented themselves in active work (23,5%) and with a medium level of resilience (38,8%). Servants, in high demand (51%) and in active work (26%), have a higher prevalence for low level of resilience at work. Conclusion: Being exposed to high occupational stress can negatively influence the level of resilience of the worker. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: To analyze resilience at work and associated factors among workers in the Hospital Cleaning Service of a University Hospital in southern Brazil. Method: Cross-sectional study, developed with 149 outsourced workers from a University Hospital in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The data were collected through a questionnaire of sociodemographic, occupational, health and Resilience at Work Scale - Brasil25. Descriptive and inferential analysis was carried out. A significant association was considered when p<0,05 Results: Hospital Cleaning Service workers have a medium resilience at work (78.9 ± 11.5). Of the factors evaluated, training on ergonomic risks was shown to be associated with a higher level of resilience at work (p = 0.028). Conclusion: Trained workers perform their duties with knowledge and safety, resulting in improvements in the process of adapting to adverse situations at work. Objective: To discuss the incivility in the work process of nursing professionals. For this, guiding points were elaborated to support the reflection of the study, namely: civility and work incivility and nursing work incivility. Development: Incivility is not a recent behavior in nursing, it is termed as horizontal hostility or violence, described as hostile, aggressive behavior by one nurse or group of nurses toward another nurse or group through disputes. internal, attitudes such as rudeness in talking with colleague, sarcastic response, disrespect for confidentiality and privacy. Conclusion: Incivil behavior is part of the daily routine of nursing professionals, causing harm to both workers and the health institution. Objective: to know the defensive strategies used by nursing workers to minimize the suffering resulting from the experience of the death of children hospitalized in a pediatric intensive care unit. Methods: descriptive-exploratory study of a qualitative approach. In Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of a university hospital. Data collection occurred between August and September 2016, through a semi-structured interview with 15 nursing workers. The data were submitted to content thematic analysis. Results: the data indicated as main strategies: denial, withdrawal at the time of death, attempt to separate work activities and personal life. The worker's family and co-workers constitute support for coping with these situations, as well as a feeling of accomplishment and seeking support in religious beliefs. Objective: to analyze, under the focus of the Theory of Recognition, the context of Nursing in face of the pandemic of COVID-19 broadcast in the Brazilian press. Method: Documentary research that explored 43 reports published in newspapers and magazines of national circulation available on the internet, from February 26 to March 30, 2020. The textual material was submitted to Descending Hierarchical Classification by the Iramuteq software and analyzed in the light of Axel Honneth's Theory of Recognition. Results: The analysis corpus resulted in six categories, which announced critical nodes involving the three spheres of the struggle for recognition (affection, right and solidarity), highlighting: the need for population adherence; provision of inputs; emotional overload; health system capacity; fear of contagion and quality of information conveyed in the media. Conclusion: The COVID-19 pandemic brought an ambiguous visibility to Nursing work, which highlighted the struggle for recognition of this professional category, signaling that there is still a long way to go and challenges to face to achieve the self-realization of these professionals, especially in the Brazilian scenario. Objective: To analyze the lifestyle of health workers who provide direct assistance to critical/ chronic patients. Methods: a cross - sectional study was carried out with 235 health workers who work in reference hospital services in oncology, nephrology, neonatal intensive care and first aid in the North of Minas Gerais. A self-administered instrument was used, consisting of questions related to the sociodemographic, training and occupational characteristics of the participants, as well as a questionnaire called a Fantastic Lifestyle. The data were tabulated and analyzed by statistical software SPSS (Statistical Package Social Science), version 20.0. Results: the overall average lifestyle value was 72.38 points, which predicts a "very good" lifestyle. As for the grouped categories, 17 (7.2%) workers presented an unhealthy lifestyle, and the domains of the questionnaire fantastic that reached the lowest averages were those of physical activity, followed by the type of behavior and nutrition, the ones that most require change. Conclusion: the health workers presented a very good lifestyle, in which it shows that most of the positive attitudes and values included in the questionnaire fantastic are being practiced. Objective: to verify the occupational stress state of hospital nurses and the relationship of stress with characteristics of professionals and their work. Methodoly: cross-sectional study. It was held at a university hospital in the Midwest of Brazil. Data collection took place in the first semester of 2017, applying two instruments: one for the socio-professional characterization of the sample (n = 85), and the validated Brazilian version of the Job Stress Scale. Results: the nurses were female (88.3%); they had an employment relationship (80%). There was a prevalence of workers who have high demand at work (n = 53; 62.2%) and high control (n = 51; 60%), which characterized the highest proportion of active work (35%). There was no statistically significant association between job characteristics and job classifications. Conclusion: Despite being exposed to high work demand, nurses reported high control and social support to work, which determined higher concentration of active work in the sample, thus, little stress. Objective: To evaluate the level of occupational stress in employees of a public university. Methodology: a descriptive study of a quantative approach, carried out at the Center for Integrative Practices in Health at the Regional University of Cariri, Crato, Ceará, from September to November / 2016. A total of 130 employees participated, who answered the self-administered questionnaire of the Work Stress Scale with 23 items analyzed by a five-point Likert scale. The data were organized in the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences, version 23.0, submitted to descriptive statistics and presented in graphs and tables. Results: Most of the employees had a low level of stress in the three categories, but 25.0% of the caretakers presented medium stress level and 22.5% of the high level outsourced workers. In the instrument, of the 23 affirmations, it was verified that the majority had average level of stress (mean = 2.16, SD = 1.27); only one high-level item was related to the discomfort in relation to professional qualification. Conclusion: Significant numbers of mean level of stress were identified among employees, which makes it necessary to discuss management processes and human resources with a view to reducing stress in the work environment. Objectives: To identify and describe the perceptions of nurses working in the surgical center of a public hospital in the Federal District regarding quality of life. Methodology: Descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Data collection was done through a semistructured interview with a sample of 11 nurses, from September 2016 to January 2017. The testimonies were transcribed and analyzed by the content analysis technique, through which the evocations were organized and grouped into categories. Results: After the analysis, the themes emerged: perception of quality of life and quality of life at work. Conclusions: Quality of life was observed as a polysemic term, having a direct relation with the work. Objective: to describe the sociodemographic and labor profile of rural workers victims of serious accidents. Methodology: epidemiological, descriptive and retrospective study carried out in the Occupational Health Reference Regional Centre (CEREST), in Sobral - Ceará, Brazil, with 509 cases of occupational accidents with rural workers, reported by the National Notifiable Diseases System (SINAN ) between 1 January 2009 to 31 December 2013. Results: 98% (500) were male; 79.6% (405) are aged between 20 and 59 years; 92% (472) are brown; 32.2% (164) have incomplete elementary school; 48.9% (249) are in precarious work situation. Conclusion: the panorama of accidents with rural workers highlights the need for better attention from the health sector, and the representations of this working class. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
