The data were organized in the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences, version 23.0, submitted to descriptive statistics and presented in graphs and tables. Results: Most of the employees had a low level of stress in the three categories, but 25.0% of the caretakers presented medium stress level and 22.5% of the high level outsourced workers. In the instrument, of the 23 affirmations, it was verified that the majority had average level of stress (mean = 2.16, SD = 1.27); only one high-level item was related to the discomfort in relation to professional qualification. Conclusion: Significant numbers of mean level of stress were identified among employees, which makes it necessary to discuss management processes and human resources with a view to reducing stress in the work environment.
