Abstract

The article focuses on evaluating the therapeutic effects of Heracleum lasiopetalum Boiss in a rat model of acetic acid-induced ulcerative colitis (UC). It reports that Heracleum lasiopetalum extract reduces colon hyperemia, mucosal ulceration, inflammation, and fibrosis in a dose-dependent manner, suggesting its potential as an adjunct therapy for UC, warranting further investigation.
