Cazadores-recolectores del Holoceno medio en las sierras de Tandilia oriental (Argentina) is the result of doctoral research on the hunter-gatherer groups that inhabited the eastern Tandilia mountain range (Argentina) during the mid-Holocene period, generating new knowledge on aspects related to lithic technology, raw material management and mobility strategies. This study analysed lithic tools recovered from several archaeological sites excavated in caves and rock shelters, specifically between the present-day localities of Balcarce and Mar del Plata. The main results show that hunter-gatherer groups of this period combined two mobility strategies. On the one hand, the mountain range occupations reflect a high logistical mobility aimed mainly at hunting guanacos and pampas deer, where caves and rock shelters were used as temporary shelters while away from residential camps. On the other hand, the integration of these results within the framework of the Pampa Húmeda sub-region suggests that the residential groups of this period were able to carry out annual or seasonal movements within a regional radius, with mobility circuits that included different ecosystems (coast, grassland plain and mountain range) and took advantage of a wide variety of terrestrial and marine resources available at different times of the year.

In a remote desert corner of Sonora, Mexico, the site of El Fin del Mundo offers the first recorded evidence of Paleoindian interactions with gomphotheres, an extinct species related to elephants. The Clovis occupation of North America is the oldest generally accepted and well-documented archaeological assemblage on the continent. This site in Sonora, Mexico, is the northernmost dated late Pleistocene gomphothere and the youngest in North America. It is the first documented intact buried Clovis site outside of the United States, the first in situ Paleoindian site in northwestern Mexico, and the first documented evidence of Clovis gomphothere hunting in North America. The site also includes an associated upland Clovis campsite. This volume also describes a paleontological bone bed below the Clovis level, which includes a rare association of mastodon, mammoth, and gomphothere. This book is aimed at providing clarity through a systemic and systematic approach to organisational change management for sustainability. Chapter 2 of the provides an overview of sustainable development and sustainability discourses, focussing on the economic, environmental, social, and time dimensions, as well as their interactions. Chapter 3 explains what organisations are, the types of organisations (civil society, corporations, education, public sector, and hybrid), the levels and system elements (individuals, groups, organisation, and system), attitudes (informational, emotional, and behavioural), the stakeholders that affect and are affected by the organisation, and the interactions between organisations (from competition to collaboration). Chapter 4 focuses on how organisations have been addressing sustainability, divided into 1) efforts to contribute to sustainability (i.e. focussing outside the organisation), and 2) engagement efforts (i.e. those focussing inside the organisation, e.g. through the use of tools, initiatives, and approaches for sustainability, and collaboration). Hace ya dos décadas, decía el Organismo Mundial de la Salud que la reducción de la sobrerrepresentación de mujeres deprimidas debía abordarse con urgencia a fin de reducir la carga global causada por los trastornos mentales y del comportamiento para ese/este año; que para ello se requería un enfoque intersectorial de múltiples niveles, una política de salud mental de género con un enfoque público de la salud y la implementación de estrategias de reducción de factores de riesgo específicos de género, así como servicios sensibles al género y acceso equitativo a ellos. The Laguna Madre is the only hypersaline coastal lagoon on the North American continent and only one of five worldwide. The lagoon is renowned for its vast seagrass meadows, huge wintering redhead population, and bountiful fishing grounds. The conference brought together thought leaders, industry professionals, academ□ics, and innovators from around the globe to share insights, exchange ideas, and cata□lyze change. The digital transformation era has not only revolutionized our personal lives but has significantly impacted the business landscape. It became a strategic prior□ity, driving companies to reassess their business models, reinvent their strategies, and redefine their value propositions. Amidst this change, ensuring sustainability, building resilient, adaptable, and future-proof businesses became a central theme.

A century ago, the Old Vero Site was brought to prominence by Elias Sellards, who claimed that the human remains discovered there were contemporary with Pleistocene fauna. It was the first serious challenge to the belief, widely accepted until the Folsom discoveries in 1926, that humans had not entered Florida before the current Holocene geological epoch. The argument made by Sellards, that early human occupants of North America lived alongside late Ice Age animals, stirred enduring controversy. Recent construction near the site resulted in new archaeological work being completed from 2014 to 2017. The Old Vero Site details the course of the recent re-excavations of the site while also summarizing the original excavations from a century ago. The volume lays out the sequence and results of the recent project, using new data to conclude that Sellards's claims are not supported by the evidence. Adovasio, Hemmings, and Vento provide the data to settle the matter definitively: human remains at the site were intrusive from a later time horizon, as critics of the original work had vociferously argued.
