The article discusses the behavior of monkeys deprived of social interaction. Monkeys deprived of maternal affections are emotionally disturbed but have rugged physical strength and tend to produce higher survival rate. Monkeys separated from their groups display abnormalities in their behavior. They sit in their cages or hold their heads with their hands or arms. They also developed compulsive behavior like pinching their skin. When a human approaches them, they display self-aggression.
