Many studies have looked at the phenomena of radicalization and then departure for jihad of French adolescents. A specific question concerns the conversion to Islam followed by a radicalization and departure for jihad of non-Muslim adolescents. This article aims to show the subjective consequences of a conversion to Islam in a context where the environment is saturated by the totalitarian discourse of political Islam and then fails to allow secondary identifications with the desirable feminine. The relationship between mothers and teenagers is at the heart of this work. The method used is that of an analysis, based on psychaoanalytical theory, of non-directive interviews with mothers concerned by the conversion to Islam in adolescence of their children and their departure for jihad in Syria and Iraq starting in the second decade of the 21st century. The specific context of the interviews (recent announcement of death or announcement of detention in the camps) required an adaptation of the research interview frame in order to create and maintain a transferential link. The results obtained through the analysis of the interviews and of the research transference, oriented by psychoanalytic theory, made it possible to confirm the subjective importance of conversion to Islam as a major psychic event equivalent to the discovery of the feminine through the massive presence of matricidal fantasies. These fantasies take the form of the anachronistic practice of taqîya, of the departure for jihad, and remain in the links maintained after the adolescents' departure. The discussion focuses on the place of fathers and siblings, which could not be explored in the context of this article, thus presenting an opening for further research. Fathers seem to occupy a specific place linked to the need to contact the authorities, the NGOs; they are often the ones to take action. Siblings are very affected by the departure of a brother or a sister, but their reactions are very diverse and merit further exploration. Adolescence is a time when questions of the feminine and of the religious can be concordant, and can be reversed into their opposite in the hatred of the feminine. It is indeed the foundation on which all totalitarian political ideologies or religious-politico ideologies are built. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

CULTURAL identity , *MOTHERS , *NARRATIVES - Abstract
In this paper the author explores a cultural narrative that she suggests rests on the concepts of the Feminine and Masculine as such, employing both as though they contain an agreed set of universal givens. These givens are extrapolated from an androcentric perspective on female and male bodies, in particular their biological functions regarding reproduction. The metaphors of the baby‐in‐womb, mother's preoccupation with child and heteronormative sexual relations are the primary cyphers for the narrative. She suggests that remaining unconscious of this narrative, such that it is taken as a universal given, can hamper a person's relation to themselves, the world and others. The author names two concepts, Home and Identity: Home being an hospitable and accommodating space with Identity denoting the one who inhabits the space. In the narrative these two are unhelpfully categorized as belonging to the Feminine and the Masculine respectively. For ease of understanding the author uses a capital letter to designate an abstract idea, and lower case when referring to the concrete or particular. Clinical examples are given throughout the paper to illustrate how acknowledgement and awareness of this narrative might free the analyst or therapist to think more broadly around issues pertaining to space and identity. From a psychoanalytical perspective, violence against women must be approached as violence against the feminine -a Lacanian concept that goes beyond the anatomy or the man/woman dichotomy and involves different modes of jouissance. Although there have been many advances in the social and legal fields, addressing violence still demonstrates the fragility and the need for policies and rights for women. This paper is based on articulating the image and discourse resources made in the miniseries Maid to address specific topics consistent with the problem and draw implications for theory and clinic. Thus, it seeks to reflect on the possible subjective strategies for coping with domestic violence. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This article aims to discuss a destiny for the feminine that does not go through phallocentric Freudian solutions. For this purpose, it recaptures Freud and Lacan's course about femininity and the feminine, respectively. It resorts, however, to an episode of James Joyce's Ulysses, namely Molly Bloom's monologue, to illustrate what a woman can astutely do with the know-how of feminine enjoyment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This essay proposes that the conceptualization of the "sexual" in psychoanalysis must be studied in its polysemy and complexity. It aims to identify some problematic knots in Freud's and Lacan's work when claiming the relationship between sexuality and the unconscious. It examines Oedipus and the castration complex in Freud's, and the formulae of sexuation and the logic of not-all in Lacan's. Finally, it establishes some links between psychoanalysis and the thinking of authors such as Butler and Preciado, among others from the Ljubljana philosophical school, in order to argue that sexuality is an epistemic-political field of action that confronts the biopolitical and historicist approaches with the negative ontology. In some contemporary psychoanalytic theories, a thesis has emerged according to which gender transition can constitute a sinthome. But gender remains a much-discussed notion in Lacanian psychoanalysis, especially in France. This article contributes to the debate by questioning the notion of femininity since it seems to be an essential point in how gender studies and Lacanian sexuation theory diverge. First, we clarify the Lacanian notion of femininity and its conceptual link to the notion of sinthome. Then, we discuss the clinical case of a transgender woman for whom the question of femininity was central during her transition. Finally, we argue how gender transition might function as a sinthome and the limits to such an understanding. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract

13. Inner-outer couple: anima and animus revisited. New perspectives for a clinical approach in transition.

- Abstract
The conflicts of the outer couple (crises, separations, divorces) with a high incidence in the rates of depression, reveal the archetypal dysfunction of the relationship between the inner-couple (in-shadow) and the outer-couple (in-crisis). To understand this in depth, a new animated and integrated model of the masculine (animus) and the feminine (anima) is explored. It is a transformational model, in which Jung's contributions are integrated and understood as knowledge in transition. Masculine and feminine cosmogonic principles are personified in the human psyche as anima-animus archetypes-complexes. Their relationship, mediated by the binding eros (cosmogonic-eros), configures the inner-couple-complex. Masculine and feminine are differentiations of the Self energy, present in both men and women. In the conscious dimension, they structure the ego-anima-animus identity; in the dimension of the personal unconscious, the anima-animus complexes; and at the archetypal level, the deep identity of the primordial feminine/masculine. In this initial restructured model, the anima-animus relationship and the description of the dual quaternity as the dynamics of the inner-outer couple interrelation are especially significant. The breadth and comprehensive richness of the new model is illustrated in the clinical/dream material of a patient under analysis, presenting the dynamics: inner couple in shadow - outer couple in crisis. 14. The Patasola: archetypal roots of feminine identity in exile in a Colombian myth.

- Abstract
Civilization in Transition, the sociological writings of Carl Gustav Jung referring to processes of social transformation in the first half of the 20th century, is a source of inspiration to reflect on the social upheaval that we are facing in the second decade of the 21st century: crises such as the depredation of our natural resources with subsequent climate change; high incidence of feminicide and violence against women and children. The 'Mother Earth', women, the feminine and the dynamics of connection, solidarity and inclusion are being threatened and destroyed. Using the myth and symbolism of the image of Patasola as a starting point, this study seeks to unravel the archetypal roots that have led to exile both to the dark dimension - destructive and self-destructive - as well as to the luminous dimension - autonomy, authority and independence - of the feminine identity. From a psychological standpoint, this paper explores the way that feminine identity, that inhabits the collective unconscious, has been expressed in various patterns since our beginnings as a nation, throughout our history, and how it is still in force through the cultural complex of the undervaluation of the feminine. Finally, we will look at the potential for redemption implicit in the myth. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

MATERNAL love , *MOTHER-daughter relationship , *MOTHERS , *FEMININITY , *CONTINENTS - Abstract
The author proposes to confront the two contiguous fields of the feminine and the maternal based on Freud's considerations on the "black continent", i.e. femininity, and on the notion of feminine jouissance deployed by Jacques Lacan. In the light of clinical psychoanalytical psychopathology, this article aims to highlight that if Oedipus does not make The Woman, the fact of the devastation which is its consequence invades the feminine, as well as the maternal. Indeed, the opaque part of the mother's jouissance, i.e. the feminine in the mother, contaminates both the woman's femininity and her maternity, as shown by the devastating relationship that can exist between a daughter and her mother. Thus, we point out that no more than becoming a woman, becoming a mother is not given from the outset, it is rather constructed from the relationship with language, with fantasy, with jouissance and with the Other in the figure of maternal love, for each one. This paper presents an unpublished translation of Victor Hugo’s poem Oh! n’insultez jamais une femme qui tombe!... (1835, Les Chants du crépuscule), followed by a commentary on the semantic and formal choices. The text of the great French novelist and poet was translated according to a general desire of modernization, which led us to make a certain number of non-literal choices. Nevertheless, we have tried to resonate in the Italian text the stylistic vivacity of the original and its remarkable civic character.

TRANSFERENCE (Psychology) , *FEMININITY , *AXIOMS - Abstract
The relationship between transference and feminine in psychoanalysis arises from the discovery of transference, in which, in Dora's case, the presence of the feminine is not only because it is a woman but due to the stumbling blocks in the handling of the case, which caused Freud postulated transference precisely in what the method had failed, revealing the erotic dimension present in every treatment. This revelation is made not only by the content worked by Freud in this case but by the mystery of femininity, which placed itself to Dora and Freud himself. Dedicating itself to this first moment, in which the feminine appears in the transference bond, this article investigates the answers given, from Freud to Lacan, to the feminine that poses as a constant interrogation to the limits of the phallic signifier and, without departing from it, reveals a not-all phallic position that can contribute to the management of transference.

The author explores clinical implications of Julia Kristeva's concept of the abject. The abject describes the developmental moment when the infant is first separating from the mother, when separation of self from other is incomplete and tenuous. The other, still desired, must be made abject, extruded from the self with a lingering sense of horror and terror. The concept of the abject underlies the feelings of desire and fear directed toward the "feminine" or the maternal body by individuals and society and provides an explanation of misogyny. The author provides clinical material to illustrate this concept in men who loathe and desire the female body, and in women who hate themselves and their female bodies. The clinical cases raise issues about the primitive affect of horror, how the abject is related to early narcissism, and the inseparability of desire, affect, defence, and object.

This contribution questions the singular motivations s and the psychic challenges of the prostitution trajectory. From our point of view, entering, remaining in, and leaving prostitution would be key moments in the subject's life and would reveal differentiated psychological arrangements. In the context of this publication, we seek to grasp what prostitution – here, of women – means in terms of their psychic functioning and how it finds its place in their life story. Focusing on the clinical case of Ms. G., over the course of non-directive research interviews, we explore the life story, the journey through prostitution, and the reworkings of the feminine after leaving prostitution. Ms. G.'s case demonstrates that the use of prostitution may be an attempt to unravel the intrapsychic resonance of traumatic experiences. We hypothesize the presence of an aggressiveness that was previously the cause of suffering, which Ms. G. subsequently repressed and turned against herself. The processes of turning against oneself and of the reversal of passivity into activity represent a lived experience of helplessness and a masochistic dimension in the service of a vacillating narcissism and femininity, undermined by early traumatic experiences. The introjected guilt would generate a sadistic and ferocious self-devaluation and would contribute to the mobilization of the moral masochistic register in the unconscious search for punishment in prostitution and its aftermath. Despite her leaving prostitution, Ms. G. remains in thrall to this experience of guilt fueled by the drive to destroy herself. In this sense, prostitution can be understood as an actualization of a psychic conflict that is susceptible to be displaced throughout the subject's lived experiences. The proposed clinical reading does not claim to provide generalizable knowledge about prostitution, any more than it aims to identify or point out any specificity of prostitution. Beyond prostitution, it is also the complexity of the subject's life trajectory that is questioned as well as the conscious and unconscious motivators of psychic functioning and their repercussions throughout life. Following this logic, the process of leaving prostitution should be understood as an opportunity for psychic reworkings and rearrangements. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Based on data from a vast medical-psychopathological research study proposed to girls suffering from utero-vaginal agenesis — Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser syndrome (MRKH) —, the value and the function of a frequently occurring (10%) bulimic disorder (with weight gain) at the announcement of the diagnosis are analyzed from a psychodynamic perspective. The psychic implications of the diagnosis and its consequences in terms of the modalities of the sessions with these adolescents, alongside genital sexuality, are underlined. The analysis of two cases studies, put into perspective, allows us to refine our understanding of the meaning of this food-related symptom. Therefore, this could both constitute a defensive modality signaling the impasses of the process of construction of the feminine as it could be a lever of psychic transformation of the traumatic repercussions of this process. Forty young MRKH women aged 19 to 34 (with an average age of 25 ½) are met. The research is offered to them from two to 17 years after their diagnostic announcement; clinical reflection consists of a retrospective analysis of their adolescent traumatic experience. The patients' stories are collected using a clinical research non-directive interview. Two projective methods — Rorschach and Thematic Apperception Test (TAT) — are also proposed to better understand the modalities of their psychic functioning at the time of the clinical encounters. Interview data are subjected to a thematic clinical analysis. The protocols of the Rorschach and of the TAT are analyzed according to the method of interpretation of the French School, which refers to the psychoanalytic theory of psychic functioning. The material, resulting from sessions with two patients diagnosed with MRKH at the age of 17 and having gained 10 kg in the aftermath of this announcement, is compared in a thorough way. The contrasts — in terms of problematics and of levels of elaboration — between the interview and the projective protocols are striking for each patient. With the analysis of the interview, the bulimic symptom of the first patient occurs in a psychic context where feminine interiority seems unrepresentable. On the contrary, projective protocols reveal access to conflicting and symbolic feminine work. In the same way, the second patient's discourse about her symptom is at first sight much more elaborate than that of the first patient; she establishes a subjective link between the renunciation of maternity inherent in the announcement of MRKH and the compensatory dimension provided by weight gain. However, the discrepancy with the projective tests is surprising in this second patient. Indeed, her productions reflect fragilities in her identity and an insufficient symbolization of the sexual that testify to the defensive value of the excessive symbolization of her speech, evident in the interview. These contrasts lead us to consider binge-eating as an attempt to treat an already conflicting female sexuality, even in deadlock, before the discovery of MRKH. Its traumatic accents are updated and potentiated with the diagnostic announcement. The different levels of identified problems can coexist in a same woman, whether it is a feminine that has neither been constructed nor integrated; an impossible investment of the internal body; or a counter-investment of an impossible maternity. In this context, the etiopathogeny of weight gain subsequent to the announcement of the diagnosis is unique for each young woman, but always in connection with an affected or wounded feminine and/or maternal. In conclusion, if the weight gain following the diagnosis reflects a hindrance or even an impasse (possibly punctual) of the psychic treatment of its effects, this medical announcement in adolescence can constitute, afterwards, a new chance for these girls, with a potentially mutative value. This article approaches, based on Jacques Lacan's theory, the female devastation as a consequence of the woman's location as not-all in phallic logic. The point in this work is to find out how an act can be a possibility of treatment of the devastation. For this purpose, two resources were used to understand this proposal: the work Medea, dated 413 b.C., and the story of Holk, published in a book called Patu. The Lacanian proposal about the feminine used here is the one formulated in 1971, in which the sexual division occurs in two modes of jouissance: phallic enjoyment, located on the male side, and feminine enjoyment, located on the female side. The proposal of feminine enjoyment indicates that the woman is not all referred to the phallus, which can have as one of its consequences the devastation of love, that affects the feminine parlêtre. About the act, Lacan's theory is also used, especially the 1969 proposals, in which the act acquires the dimension of a significant mark, that delimits a new beginning for the subject, in which if it is erased at the moment of the act, resurfaces after the action. After presenting the two main theorizations, the article aims to demonstrate how Medea can emerge from the devastation that she was in, after being left by Jason, through the act of killing her children. And also, how Holk makes his way, moving the unconscious, forging a new signifier in the analysis: patu (a signifier that ciphered female enjoyment) the dimension of the analytic act is present here. The aim of this article is to present the results of a sociological study on everyday life within a female cloistered monastery. This is a radical form of religious life, highly routinised, distanced from the outside world and conducted in community yet in almost total silence. By elaborating upon the concepts of everyday and lived religion, the scope of our examination complements dominant sociological approaches to the study of this religious phenomenon. By addressing the following research question: 'Do cloistered monasteries de-individualise and totally regulate the life of nuns?', we discuss selected aspects of everyday life in the institution and its contemporary transformations related to, among other things, new communication technologies and new generations of nuns. We show that in this highly institutionalised place nuns remain reflexive individuals. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine how gender is characterized in children's literature in the Swedish preschool. The research question is of great importance to investigate because the Swedish preschool operates as a social institution. The gender debate has exploded in the last decade, which means that preschools need to approach gender pedagogy in education. The Swedish preschool's curriculum also includes requirements on gender-pedagogically based education. It also includes norm-critical and equal values (Skolverket 2018). Since children's books are a big part of the preschool's education, it is of great importance to examine gender patterns in children's literature. The study is based on qualitative and quantitative analyses which highlights gender patterns in children's literature. The credibility of the literature study can be considered as valid because the research is based on two different supplementary gender analyzing schedules. The result that is prominent from the analyzing method is a male-dominant norm in the main and secondary characters of the children's books. The result showed that the characters who performed norm-breaking actions were more often performed by masculine characters. This result may not be considered surprising as the majority of the analyzed children's books have masculine main characters. The feminine characters who performed norm-breaking actions were for that reason not discovered as often as the male equivalent of the same phenomenon. The conclusion of the study implies higher demands on preschool teachers' awareness when handling children's literature. The consequences of the lack of awareness contain two main grounds that were identified in the study. Firstly, there is a cultural heritage in already existing children's literature that needs to be preserved. Secondly, it may be considered financially unjustifiable to exclusively replace existing literature with new gender awareness books., Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur genus karaktäriseras i barnlitteraturen i den svenska förskolan.

- Abstract
The rate of adolescents, especially girls who are quitting sports has increased in the last decade. Since physical activity is an important factor for good health, it´s important that we try to turn the trend around. The aim of the present study was to understand why some people are quitting sports earlier than others, by examining how sex, sports gendertyping, and masculine and feminine personality (MF-score) based on the Big Five Inventory (BFI 44) affect participation and termination in sport. The sample size was 6 139 and three groups were created, adolescents that stopped doing their sport before age 20, adults that stopped doing their sport after age 19,and adults that were still active. Two studies were conducted, a systematic review of sports gendertyping, which provided values on how masculine-feminine each of 123 sports have been rated. The analyses showed that sex is a significant predictor of sport choice. Males chose more masculine sports, and vice versa for females. Masculine personality predicted choice of masculine coded sports for boys and active males, and vice versa for girls and active females. Boys and men were also active in sports more years than girls and women. Feminine sports predicted more active years among girls. Masculine and feminine personality did not predict how many years participants were active in the sport. Further knowledge is needed to keep as many active as long as possible, regardless of type of sport and sex.

- Abstract
Les résultats seront confrontés à quelques critiques contemporaines., The purpose of this thesis is to explore the issue of gender difference in the expression of passion in the tragedy of Jean Racine. What do the possible differences between female and male characters in the expression of passion tell us about Racine’s theatre? The distinctions between female and male reactions will be analysed and compared to understand the genre in Racine’s theatre. Four different pieces from the author’s repertoire will be analysed to determine if the character’s gender influences the expression of passion. Analysis of the behaviour of the protagonists will also help us understand how each sex expresses and treats passion. The pieces on which this project focuses are Andromachus, Berenice, Phaedra, and Athalie. The study will reveal the differences between female and male characters in the expression of passion and reveal whether women have less control over their emotions than men. Then we will see what these differences say about the aesthetics and conventions of Racine’s tragedy. The results will be confronted with some contemporary criticism.

The distinction between male and female is one of the most prominent features of funerary arts in Roman Egypt: numerous productions demonstrate this principle, with men tending to retain a traditional Egyptian iconography, while women wear contemporary costumes and hairstyles, according to Graeco-Roman fashion. The latest studies dedicated to this subject have shown that these additions to the depictions of women were intended to create the most effective image of the deceased, in order to best express their transfigured state in the afterlife. However, many grey areas remain as to why such a distinction between men and women takes place. Through the extensive study of a well-identified production, funerary masks from Meir, this article attempts to explain the origin and function of such differentiation.

Objectives: To evaluate the awareness of HPV and HPV vaccine, and willingness to be vaccinated against HPV, among women with and without daughter(s) in Shenzhen, China. Methods: Cross-sectional survey in January and June 2015 by means of a self-administered questionnaire to collect information. Multivariate logistic regression was used to explore the factors associated with awareness of HPV and its vaccine and the willingness to be vaccinated. Results: A total of 9855 women (mean age 37.09 years, SD 7.48) were included in the analysis. Although only 42.3% had heard of HPV and 21.0% of HPV vaccine, 63.3% were willing to be vaccinated. 73.9% of the 5799 women with daughter(s) were willing have their daughter(s) vaccinated. Women with daughter(s) did not have a higher awareness of HPV (43.2% vs. 41.5%, P = 0.109) and HPV vaccine (21.1% vs. 20.9%, P = 0.854) than women without daughter(s), but did tend to be more willing to be vaccinated themselves (66.3% vs. 59.9%, P < 0.001). Women's awareness of HPV and specific knowledge of HPV vaccine were predictors of the willingness to have both themselves and their daughters vaccinated. These associations may be modified by residency status, education and monthly income. Conclusions: Although awareness of HPV and HPV vaccine among women in Shenzhen was low, willingness to have themselves and their daughter(s) vaccinated was relatively high, especially among mothers. High awareness of HPV and its vaccine will help improve the acceptability of HPV vaccination according to residency status, education and monthly income. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]- Published

AIDS , *GAY people , *HOMOSEXUALITY , *CHARACTER , *REFLECTIONS - Abstract
A film about three women, from three generations, in different places. They are all connected by the Virginia Woolf‟s novel. This one is being written by her. Laura Brown reads it and lives it. So does Clarissa. There‟s a fourth character. It‟s a poet, sick of AIDS, homosexual, making part of that group of characters who look like themselves, one like each other, looking like the same, identical, in almost identical situations, in times which we shall understand as different, but on realise them as being simultaneous. I propose thinking the movement of this film under the perspective of the other, by a dialogue with Zizek and Levinas, passing through Tassin, the novel which inspired the film, by Michael Cunningham, as through Mrs. Dalloway. The questions which guide this reflection are: who is the other in this film? And what‟s proposed to this person? What does the other says about myself? [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The present work brings to the forefront the typology and manner of character construction in the spectrum of the 80's epic. In the context of a monographic study, we rely on mapping the character's hypostases - female in most cases - that populate and outline the prosaic universe proposed by the writer Adriana Bittel by directly referring the short prose volumes and the novel signed by the same writer. A major point of interest consist especially in highlighting the modes and the procedures by which the character participates in the construction of the fictional world: metaleptic incursions, discursive marks and language games, meta and intertextual accents. We also insist on highlighting the relationships of Adrian Bittel's prose character with the narrative instances, with the other characters, with the thematic field all in a more or less obvious interdependence with the textuallist context of the 80`s literature. Abstract: The 1930s were a bountiful backdrop for the proliferation of publications that became seminal American and Franco-Belgian comic strip classics. In Quebec, translations of American comic strips took up the lion’s share of the market. Between 1935 to 1938, L’Action catholique published eleven stories, comprising in excess of 700 comic strips. These were, by and large, adaptations of native Quebec novels that glorified Franco-Canadian roots and Catholicism, including Lionel Groulx’s L’appel de la race. These adaptations were sewn into popular imagery. This is an examination of these comic strips, with specific focus on the role of the female characters, particularly in Son Chemin de Damas, the one and only story to include the phylactery.

A spiritual principle for Muḥyī al-Dīn Ibn ʿArabī (1165-1240) and a universal archetype for Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961), the Feminine is at the center of this research, where it will be studied from the perspective of the mystical experience of which it is an inescapable mediator. The emphasis will be on the relationship between the Feminine as a principle or archetype and the mystical experience as articulated by our two thinkers in their personal experience as well as in their theoretical elaborations. It consists, to avoid any anachronism, more of a dialogue of ideas than a comparison of the thought of the Andalusian Sufi master with that of the modern Swiss psychoanalyst. It is at this first level of analysis, where the Feminine and the Masculine form a primordial androgyny that their thoughts meet in a significant way. Both thinkers in fact recognize in the Feminine a transcendental function that is fulfilled through a predisposition to establish a relationship with the subtle world of Spirit that is rooted either in a given religious tradition-Islam in the case of Ibn ʿArabī or of a therapeutic analysis with nonetheless mystical overtones in the case of Jung. The experience of the Feminine in our two thinkers reveals a differentiated relationship as to the nature and form of the spiritual experience that is its medium of expression. Their conceptions also differ on the question of God (transcendent or immanent) whose meeting is perceived as the finality towards which tends the transforming dynamics of the personality that implies this initiatory path that induces the meeting of the spiritual Feminine. Before realizing this ultimate and unifying encounter, one must first meet and relate to this Feminine figure of inner and outer otherness in order to overcome the primary dualism in which humans are mired both individually and collectively. It is on this point in particular that the study shows significant convergences, which reveal, on the one hand, the link between Sufism and analytical psychology; and on the other hand, the "deep psychological" aspects of Akbarian mysticism. This draft dialogue, carried out in an interdisciplinary approach, certainly reveals very different epistemological postures, but also a convergence of views implicit until then and which the method of hermeneutic phenomenology chosen for this master's thesis has shed new light on. It is in this spirit that it can open up new avenues of reflection for our contemporary societies caught up in a disturbing crisis of meaning and loss of identity markers. The underpinning of this crisis is a dualistic vision of woman and man, and consequently of a binary division between nature and culture, instead of grasping their necessary and paradoxical complementarity which must be realized first and foremost in each human being.

This association raises several issues related to the definition of gender, based on its link with the medical and ideological studies of the 19th century. The scandal surrounding the figure of the writer is analyzed in the light of the several female figures structuring Rachilde’s novels.

The prologues of the tragedies by Louis des Masures and Théodore de Bèze present a singularity, which remains unique in the French tragic production of the 16th century: when asking the public for silence, both Prologues pretend to be interrupted by a woman to whom they then speak directly. Should these prologues be taken seriously or do they only come under the comic topos? This study first examines the text of these prologues: beyond the fact that these prologues confirm the presence of women in the audience, they can in themselves reveal a certain ambivalence on the specific role of the female audience. Then, it returns to their possible sources: these types of prologues potentially fall under two traditions, that of comic prologues and that of mystery prologues, which shows the aesthetic peculiarity of these biblical tragedies. Finally, the article looks at the echoes of these comments on the feminine in the plays: they seem to present a similar ambivalence as to their representation of the feminine, since, like the prologues, they recall commonplaces on women but then do not model the female characters on the stage according to these commonplaces. From then on, the spectators could observe positive models of women on stage, and feel even more concerned by a lesson that they could in turn understand and transmit: beyond the topos, the female spectators therefore have their place in the theatrical project of Bèze and des Masures.

Abstract Based on psychoanalytic listening offered to mothers of premature babies in the neonatology ward of a maternity hospital, this study articulates the relationships between the feminine and motherhood through a case analysis. To do so, it discusses issues related to the construction of motherhood as inherent to femininity, a perspective created by modernity that prevails today, followed by criticisms and updated views. It also considers the Freudian femininity as an Oedipean escape for women, which differs from social readings as it includes the desire. This notion was better developed by Lacan, whose writing helped us investigate motherhood and femininity according to desire and to phallic and not-all phallic jouissance, which are always singular experiences.

This article analyses the portraits of the men of the Revolution contained in the autobiographical and historical writings by Marie-Jeanne Roland. This anti-pantheon, highly critical of the men who occupied the forefront of this part of the Enlightenment, serves to draw, in negative, the portrait of the prototype of the revolutionary hero, of the new being rebuilt after 1789, an ideal quite the opposite of the masculinity in motion represented by these cowardly, scheming, uneducated and petty men, an ideal configured from a model fashioned by herself... and which is none other than herself: Indeed, for Marie-Jeanne Roland, the only person capable of picking up the reins of the French Res publica, the only true homo politicus of her time, is herself.
