The dissolution behavior of the largest exposed crystal face of Baloxavir marboxil Form I crystal, an anti-influenza drug, was investigated by in-situ atomic force microscopy (AFM) at near molecular scale in water. The largest exposed crystal surface is the (020) face, the microstructure features of layered steps and spiral dislocations appear before dissolution. The in-situ AFM tests show that there are two main dissolution mechanisms: step retreat and pit expansion dissolution. The step retreat dissolution mechanism mainly occurs at the crystal faces where growth steps remain, and the dissolution is promoted by gradual retreat of layered steps. There are two forms of pits in pit expansion dissolution mechanism: regular pits and inverted spiral dislocation pits. The formation of inverted spiral dislocation pits is related to the defect initiated-dissolution at the spiral dislocation sites; the regular quadrilateral pits mainly appear at the relatively smooth and perfect crystal faces, because this characteristic crystal surface can only promote the dissolution process through spontaneous pitting nucleation. When the crystal face is dissolved by the regular pit dissolution mechanism, the critical size of the pit-dissolution exists, meaning only pits above a certain size can promote dissolution. Atherosclerosis is a chronic vascular wall disease and the most common pathological change in cardiovascular disease. Its pathogenesis is closely related to inflammation, oxidative stress, and lipid deposition. Bilirubin itself has biological activities such as antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, and has a protective effect on the cardiovascular system. [Objective] It reveals the spatial distribution of carbon flow and the key path of carbon element transfer in Bin County, grasps the existing problems of Bin County's Production-Living-Ecological (PLE) space ecological environment, and then provides theoretical support for the future low-carbon rural planning and land-use resilience planning and management decisions in Bin County area. [Methods] Bin County was taken as an example. The overall metabolic network model of rural carbon elements' was constructed to identify and master the evolution law of the PLE spatial pattern, to quantitatively measure the characteristics of carbon sources, carbon sinks and the spatial-temporal dynamic changes of carbon elements in Bin County. [Results] (1) The predominant use of land continued to be for cultivation, while other types of land use displayed varying degrees of change, impacting the ecological environment. (2) Bin County's expanding residential areas had resulted in an initial surge, followed by a decrease in overall carbon emissions. In 2010, carbon emissions of Bin County spiked to 3.07 times of their previous levels, marking a crescendo. In 2020. the emissions of Bin County decreased by 2.25 million tons. The increase in the carbon sink was associated with the alteration in the area of the ecological space. (3) The spatial distribution of high carbon sink and source density mainly concentrated in the central and western parts of Bin County. The cultivated land production space and urban living space were the key components of carbon transfer in the two periods, respectively, and the mutual carbon transfer between the two land uses was also the dominant transfer path in different periods. [Conclusion] The spatial distribution of carbon flow and key paths of carbon element transfer in Bin County mainly concentrate in the areas with rapid urbanization process, where the ecological environment has serious problems. Objective：To analyze the correlation between peripheral blood nucleotide binding oligomerization domain like receptor protein 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome-cysteine protease 1 (Caspase-1)-interleukin 1β (IL-1β) signaling axis and lung cancer. Methods：From June 2021 to August 2023, 72 patients with lung cancer in our hospital (lung cancer group) and 72 healthy subjects (healthy control group) were selected. The levels of NLRP3, Caspase-1, IL-1β in peripheral blood and peripheral blood of lung cancer control and healthy group subjects were compared and analyzed. The levels of pulmonary function［forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1), forced vital capacity (FVC), and ratio of forced expiratory volume in the first second to forced vital capacity (FEV1/FVC)] were compared. The correlation between peripheral blood NLRP3 and IL - 1β levels and FEV1, FVC and FEV1/FVC was analyzed. Results：The levels of FEV1, FVC and FEV1/FVC in lung cancer group were significantly lower than those in healthy control group (P < 0.05). The relative mRNA expression levels of Nlrp3, Caspase-1 and IL-1β, as well as the secretion levels of Caspase-1 and IL-1β in peripheral blood of lung cancer group were significantly higher than those of healthy control group (P < 0.05). Spearman correlation analysis showed that Nlrp3 gene mRNA relative expression levels in peripheral blood were significantly negatively correlated with FEV1/FVC in lung cancer group (P < 0.05). The peripheral blood IL -1β secretion levels were significantly positively correlated with FEV1 and FEV1/FVC in lung cancer group (P < 0.05). Conclusion：Nlrp3 gene mRNA relative expression level in peripheral blood monocytes and peripheral blood IL-1β secretion level are positively correlated with the progression of lung cancer and can reflect the progression of lung cancer to a certain extent, which has potential reference value for the screening and diagnosis of lung cancer. BACKGROUND: Due to the sudden release and the rapid removal by proteases, platelet-rich plasma hydrogel leads to shorter residence times of growth factors at the wound site. In recent years, researchers have focused on the use of hydrogels to encapsulate platelet-rich plasma in order to improve the deficiency of platelet-rich plasma hydrogels. OBJECTIVE: To prepare self-assembled polypeptide-platelet-rich plasma hydrogel and to explore its effects on the release of bioactive factors of platelet-rich plasma. METHODS: The self-assembled polypeptide was synthesized by the solid-phase synthesis method, and the solution was prepared by D-PBS. Hydrogels were prepared by mixing different volumes of polypeptide solutions with platelet-rich plasma and calcium chloride/thrombin solutions, so that the final mass fraction of polypeptides in the system was 0.1%, 0.3%, and 0.5%, respectively. The hydrogel state was observed, and the release of growth factors in platelet-rich plasma was detected in vitro. The polypeptide self-assembly was stimulated by mixing 1% polypeptide solution with 1% human serum albumin solution, so that the final mass fraction of the polypeptide was 0.1%, 0.3%, and 0.5%, respectively. The flow state of the liquid was observed, and the rheological mechanical properties of the self-assembled polypeptide were tested. The microstructure of polypeptide (mass fraction of 0.1% and 0.001%) -human serum albumin solution was observed by scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscope. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: (1) Hydrogels could be formed between different volumes of polypeptide solution and platelet-rich plasma. Compared with platelet-rich plasma hydrogels, 0.1% and 0.3% polypeptide-platelet-rich plasma hydrogels could alleviate the sudden release of epidermal growth factor and vascular endothelial growth factor, and extend the release time to 48 hours. (2) After the addition of human serum albumin, the 0.1% polypeptide group still exhibited a flowing liquid, the 0.3% polypeptide group was semi-liquid, and the 0.5% polypeptide group stimulated self-assembly to form hydrogel. It was determined that human serum albumin in platelet-rich plasma could stimulate the self-assembly of polypeptides. With the increase of the mass fraction of the polypeptide, the higher the storage modulus of the self-assembled polypeptide, the easier it was to form glue. (3) Transmission electron microscopy exhibited that the polypeptide nanofibers were short and disordered before the addition of human serum albumin. After the addition of human serum albumin, the polypeptide nanofibers became significantly longer and cross-linked into bundles, forming a dense fiber network structure. Under a scanning electron microscope, the polypeptides displayed a disordered lamellar structure before adding human serum albumin. After the addition of human serum albumin, the polypeptides self-assembled into cross-linked and densely arranged porous structures. (4) In conclusion, the novel polypeptide can self-assemble triggered by platelet-rich plasma and the self-assembly effect can be accurately adjusted according to the ratio of human serum albumin to polypeptide. The literature provides reference for the accurate determination of boron by inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES), but most of the studies are conducted on the standard substances of soil and stream sediment. In addition, the range of boron content is low, and the methods for the determination of high boron content in boron ores are few. A method of ICP-OES with sealed acid digestion at high pressure was developed for the determination of boron content in boron ores. Using nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid as reagents, the samples of boron ores were dissolved at high temperature and high pressure without acid drive, and ICP-OES equipped with a hydrofluoric acid-resistant sampling system was used to determine boron. The samples of boromagnesite, ludwigite, chambersite and salt lake type solid boron ore were taken as the research objects. The relative standard deviation (RSD, n=11) was 0.39%−2.66%, the detection limit of the method was 1.76µg/g, and the determination range was 5.87µg/g−10.8%. The measured values were consistent with the certified values after the verification of the reference materials. Compared with volumetric method and microwave digestion method, the results were in good agreement. Compared with the traditional ammonium acetate exchange method and calcium acetate exchange method to determine cation exchange capacity (CEC), hexamminecobalt trichloride method has obvious advantages in the analysis of large quantities of samples. However, the application scope of this method is limited, and the detection results of neutral and alkaline samples are good, but the detection results of acidic samples are as low as 50%. In order to solve these problems, the pH was adjusted to alkaline with 2mol/L sodium hydroxide solution, the CEC value of the sample was significantly improved, and the determination results of both acidic and alkaline samples reached the range of standard values. By drawing the pH adjustment curve, the volume of 2mol/L sodium hydroxide solution was obtained in soil samples with different pH ranges, so as to adjust the pH value of unknown samples and realize the accurate determination of CEC. On the basis of the original method, the pH of the sample was adjusted to alkalinity, and the precision of the optimized method ranged from 1.02% to 3.82% (n=6). After optimization, the application scope of the method is expanded, the precision and accuracy are improved, and the detection efficiency of a large number of samples is effectively improved. Organic-inorganic hybrid halide perovskites have garnered significant attention as photovoltaic materials due to their exceptional solar cell performance and ease of fabrication. Nevertheless, their commercial viability remains hindered by poor stability and Pb-related toxicity. Quaternary thioiodides, defined by ns2 lone pair cations and robust metal-chalcogen bonds, exhibit favorable properties including suitable bandgaps, high permittivity, and enhanced stability. In this study, a novel quaternary thioiodide material, Ba2 BiS2 I3, aiming to overcome the stability and toxicity issues faced by lead-based perovskites, has been proposed. Employing first-principles calculations, it is determined that this material possesses an appropriate solar cell bandgap, high dielectric constant, low effective mass, and low exciton binding energy, showing potential as a new outstanding photovoltaic material. Moreover, our calculations indicate superior optical absorption properties for this material. Notably, the theoretical spectroscopic limit for maximal efficiency of Ba2 BiS2 I3 exceeds 28%.
