Using fly ash to synthesize zeolite molecular sieves can improve the reuse value of coal fly ash resources, reduce the synthesis cost of the zeolites, and protect the ecology. A novel approach was proposed to prepare zeolite socony mobil‐5 (ZSM‐5) zeolite via one‐pot hydrothermal synthesis. The mesoporous ZSM‐5 synthesized by adjusting the molar ratio of chemical reagents has higher crystallinity, larger specific surface area, and more adsorption sites. An analysis of methylene blue (MB) adsorption on mesoporous ZSM‐5 was conducted at many different adsorption parameters, including solution concentration, temperature, and duration of adsorption. The Langmuir model can objectively describe the adsorption behavior of MB on ZSM‐5, and the adsorption characteristics of MB on ZSM‐5 are better described by the pseudo‐second‐order kinetic model. This article discusses a study that aimed to identify biomarkers that could predict the response to immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) therapy in cutaneous melanoma. The study focused on somatic NTRK mutations, which are alterations in genes involved in regulating cellular processes. The researchers found that cutaneous melanoma patients with somatic NTRK mutations had higher tumor mutation burden (TMB) and showed better response rates and survival outcomes with ICI therapy. However, the association between somatic NTRK mutations and ICI therapy response was only significant in melanoma and not in other types of cancer. The study suggests that somatic NTRK mutations could be used as a predictor for the efficacy of ICI therapy in cutaneous melanoma, and combining this information with TMB could improve patient stratification for ICI therapy. A large amount of metallurgical solid waste accumulation poses a serious threat to the environment. Study on synergistic reinforcement of synthetic process of metallurgical solid waste‐based ceramics with fly ash is of great significance in reducing environmental pollution and resource utilization. A metallurgical solid waste‐based ceramic used as building ceramic was developed with the erosion part of used MgO–C bricks and fly ash as main raw materials, and the amount of solid waste added to the prepared ceramics was at least 60 wt% and up to 90 wt%. The effects of fly ash content and sintering temperature on the crystalline phase transitions, morphologies, and the main physical and mechanical properties of ceramics were investigated by X‐ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and mechanical testing. The results show that the obtained ceramics presented maximum bending strength and minimum water absorption, 80.14 MPa and 5.04%, respectively, when the raw material proportions were the erosion part of used refractories accounted for 60 wt%, fly ash 20 wt%, pyrophyllite 10 wt%, and quartz sands 10 wt%, and the process parameters were the sintering temperature 1150°C, sintering time 120 min, and molding pressure 15 MPa. The meiotic entry of undifferentiated germ cells is sexually specific and strictly regulated by the testicular or ovarian environment. Germline stem cells with a set of abnormal sex chromosomes and associated autosomes undergo defective meiotic processes and are eventually eliminated by yet to be defined post‐transcriptional modifications. Herein, we report the role of gsdf, a member of BMP/TGFβ family uniquely found in teleost, in the regulation of meiotic entry in medaka (Oryzias latipes) via analyses of gametogenesis in gsdf‐deficient XX and XY gonads in comparison with their wild‐type siblings. Several differentially expressed genes, including the FKB506‐binding protein 7 (fkbp7), were significantly upregulated in pubertal gsdf‐deficient gonads. The increase in alternative pre‐mRNA isoforms of meiotic synaptonemal complex gene sycp3 was visualized using Integrative Genomics Viewer and confirmed by real‐time qPCR. Nevertheless, immunofluorescence analysis showed that Sycp3 protein products reduced significantly in gsdf‐deficient XY oocytes. Transmission electron microscope observations showed that normal synchronous cysts were replaced by asynchronous cysts in gsdf‐deficient testis. Breeding experiments showed that the sex ratio deviation of gsdf−/− XY gametes in a non‐Mendelian manner might be due to the non‐segregation of XY chromosomes. Taken together, our results suggest that gsdf plays a role in the proper execution of cytoplasmic and nuclear events through receptor Smad phosphorylation and Sycp3 dephosphorylation to coordinate medaka gametogenesis, including sex‐specific mitotic divisions and meiotic recombination. Aiming at the problems of inherent chattering of traditional sliding mode control system of permanent magnet synchronous motor and further improving the control precision, a new fuzzy exponential reaching law sliding mode control method optimized by improved differential evolution (DE) algorithm (DEFSMC) is proposed in this article. A new hyperbolic tangent function with fuzzy boundary layer is proposed to instead of the traditional switching function, and the improved DE algorithm is used to optimize the fuzzy rules of parameters in sliding mode controller. Double‐sided tubular machine (DSTM) is very suitable for wave energy conversion but easily suffers from high thrust ripple. In order to get the minimum cogging force with the maximum thrust force, a new DSTM with hybrid segmented permanent magnet array is proposed and optimised by a novel iterative few‐sample multi‐objective optimisation method. The novel optimisation method is based on an iterative Taguchi method framework to obtain optimal design with only few samples. To solve the low precision problem of the iterative Taguchi method, a surrogate‐model based multi‐objective optimisation algorithm that uses a general regression neural network, a speed‐constrained multi‐objective particle swarm optimisation and an exponentially weighted moving average are embedded into this framework. Rationale: Methylophiopogonanone A (MOA) is a naturally occurring homoisoflavonoid from the Chinese herb Ophiopogon japonicus, which has been demonstrated to attenuate myocardial apoptosis. However, the metabolism of MOA remains unknown. The goal of the present work was to investigate the in vitro metabolism of MOA using liver microsomes and hepatocytes. Methods: The metabolites were generated by incubating MOA with rat, monkey and human liver microsomes or hepatocytes. The resulting samples were analyzed by using a quadrupole‐orbitrap high‐resolution mass spectrometer. The metabolites were identified through the measurements of the exact mass, elemental composition and product ions. Results: A total of 15 metabolites were detected and identified. Among these metabolites, M7 (demethylenation) was the most abundant metabolite in liver microsomes, while M6 (hydroxylation) was the predominant metabolite in hepatocytes, and glucuronidation metabolites (M9 and M10) were also the main metabolites in hepatocytes. The metabolic pathways of MOA included hydroxylation, demethylenation, glucuronidation, methylation, sulfation and glutathione conjugation. Conclusions: This study for the first time provides valuable data on the metabolites of MOA, which will be of great importance for a better understanding of its disposition and to predict human pharmacokinetics. Novel and stringent automotive exhaust gas emissions standards are urgently needed to counter the problems posed by the worsening global climate and environment. However, the traditional cordierite‐based honeycomb ceramics substrates with ultimate pore density have seriously restricted the establishment of new emission standards. Herein, we introduce a novel robust substrate with tailored volume‐specific surface area and low heat capacity. This substrate employs the synergy of high‐strength ceramic fibers and ultrathin TiO2 nanosheets. The micro‐sized fibers provide support to ensure structural strength during the catalytic reaction, while the nanosheets play the dual role of connecting the fibers and providing a high surface area for catalyst immobilization. The new three‐dimensional (3D) microarchitecture exhibits a high volume‐specific surface area of 3.59×104 cm2/cm3, a compressive strength of 2.01 MPa, and remarkable stability after high‐speed air erosion at 800 °C. The honeycomb‐like structure exhibit low resistance to gas flow. Furthermore, after loading with Pt and Pd nanoparticles, the composite 3D microarchitecture delivered an excellent catalytic performance and prominent structural stability, with a super low light‐off temperature of 150 °C. The outstanding mechanical and thermal stability and the high surface area and light‐off temperature of the new substrate indicate its potential for use as a highly efficient catalytic carrier to meet the next‐generation auto emissions standards. Hierarchical nano‐micro carbon spheres porous carbon composites are successfully synthesized derived from Euryale ferox shells by the in‐situ decoration of the porous carbon with carbon spheres from carboxymethyl cellulose under the activation of KOH. Effects of fabrication and activation manner on surface area of porous carbons were investigated. The influence of activation temperature, impregnation ratio and modifier were analyzed. The specific surface area, pore volume and average pore diameter of porous carbon was characterized by N2 adsorption isotherms. Porous carbon produced at 800 °C with an impregnation ratio of 3, 2 hours of carbonization time, 20 hours immersion time has been found 2506 m2 g−1, 1.515 cm3 g−1 and 2.4 nm of the optimum specific surface area, pore volume and average pore diameter, respectively. The result of Fourier‐infrared spectroscopy analysis of the prepared porous carbon confirmed that it has abundant functional groups on the surface. Quantum dots (QD), mixed with carbon materials, have gained increasing interest in the last few years as electrocatalysts due to their outstanding properties, such as excellent catalytic activity and good thermodynamic stabilities. However, most QD‐carbon hybrids show lower catalytic activities than that theoretically predicted due to the aggregation of the QD‐carbon nanostructures during processing. Herein, biomass is used as a carbon source to prepare QD carbon nanostructures (Ni@CN) to address the aforementioned issue. The cells walls and membranes in the biomass materials are usually rich in sites that could regulate the deposition and growth of Ni from a salt precursor by a simple solution impregnation method. Due to the abundance of the seeding sits and the limited supply of Ni+, the Ni particles size is restricted to the QD level with 3–4 nm. The formed Ni compounds QD are strongly linked to the cells walls and membranes, which could be maintained after subsequent heat treatment. The prepared 3D architecture has high catalytic activity, large surface area, strong physical integration, and rapid charge transfer capability, which collectively enhances the performance toward oxygen evolution reaction and hydrogen evolution reaction, opening the door to empower the next‐generation green fuel conversion for carbon neutral. Silicoaluminophosphate zeolite (SAPO‐34) has been attracting increasing attention due to its excellent form selection and controllability in the chemical industry, as well as being one of the best industrial catalysts for methanol‐to‐olefin (MTO) reaction conversion. However, as a microporous molecular sieve, SAPO‐34 easily generates carbon deposition and rapidly becomes inactivated. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce the crystal size of the zeolite or to introduce secondary macropores into the zeolite crystal to form a hierarchical structure in order to improve the catalytic effect. In this review, the synthesis methods of conventional SAPO‐34 molecular sieves, hierarchical SAPO‐34 molecular sieves and nanosized SAPO‐34 molecular sieves are introduced, and the properties of the synthesized SAPO‐34 molecular sieves are described, including the phase, morphology, pore structure, acid source, and catalytic performance, in particular with respect to the synthesis of hierarchical SAPO‐34 molecular sieves. We hope that the review can provide guidance to the preparation of the SAPO‐34 catalysts, and stimulate the future development of high‐performance hierarchical SAPO‐34 catalysts to meet the growing demands of the material and chemical industries. Nowadays, the research on materials science is rapidly entering a phase of data‐driven age. Machine learning, one of the most powerful data‐driven methods, have been being applied to materials discovery and performances prediction with undoubtedly tremendous application foreground. Herein, the challenges and current progress of machine learning are summarized in materials science, the design strategies are classified and highlighted, and possible perspectives are proposed for the future development. A shape‐stabilized composite phase change material (SS‐CPCM) with paraffin (PA) and biological porous carbon (BPC) was prepared. Freeze‐dried biological‐cellulose include abandoned pomelo peel (APP) and tangerine peel (ATP) were carbonized in vacuum at 800 °C to obtain BPC to be used as a matrix material to prevent PA leakage and enhance thermal conductivity. A vacuum impregnation process was utilized to obtain the SS‐CPCM. Scanning electron microscopy showed that BPC (carbonized APP is subsequently referred to as BPC1 and carbonized ATP as BPC2) has a porous, honeycomb‐like structure, and that the paraffin encapsulated by the pores is evenly distributed. The SS‐CPCM2 (made from ATP) had the highest thermal conductivity (2.10 W/m K), which is 1.89 and 10 times that of the SS‐CPCM1 (made using APP) and pure PA, respectively. Differential scanning calorimetry and thermo‐gravimetric analysis were applied to determine the thermal performance and thermal reliability of the SS‐CPCM. Phase‐change materials (PCMs) have been widely investigated as candidates for thermal energy storage and solar thermal energy conversion. However, low thermal conductivity and poor shape stability during phase transition processes are detrimental to their practical applications. In this study, we designed composite PCMs based on carbon foam (CF) via the vacuum impregnation method to overcome these problems. CF with 3D interconnected microporous structures and good compressive strength was fabricated from phenolic resin (PF) using a combined process of carbonization and sacrificial template techniques. The developer material is considered a promising support material for PCMs. The as‐prepared polyethylene glycol/CF composite (PCC) exhibited a high energy‐storage density with a melting enthalpy of 135.7 J/g, and the thermal conductivity was enhanced by 109.8% compared to that of pure polyethylene glycol. In addition, the PCC showed excellent thermal stability and leakage‐proof performance after 100 heating/cooling cycles and good compressive strength. Because of the simple preparation process and low cost, PCC is a promising material for various thermal energy storage applications, especially in building energy storage systems. Metal‐based nanocatalysts supported on carbon have significant prospect for industry. However, a straightforward method for efficient and stable nanocatalysts still remains extremely challenging. Inspired by the structure and comptosition of cell walls and membranes, an ion chemical bond anchoring, an in situ carbonization coreduction process, is designed to obtain composite catalysts on N‐doped 2D carbon (C‐N) loaded with various noble and non‐noble metals (for example, Pt, Ru, Rh, Pd, Ag, Ir, Au, Co, and Ni) nanocatalysts. These 2 nm particles uniformly and stably bond with the C‐N support since the agglomeration and growth are suppressed by anchoring the metal ions on the cell wall and membrane during the carbonization and reduction reactions. The Pt@C‐N exhibits excellent catalytic activity and long‐term stability for the hydrogen evolution reaction, and the relative overpotential at 100 mA cm−2 is only 77 mV, which is much lower than that of commercial Pt/C and Pt single‐atom catalysts reported recently. Needle‐like α‐Si3N4 with unique structures has potential application in both field emission devices and tips for atomic force microscopes. Single‐crystalline, α‐Si3N4 nanoneedles have been prepared by using an improved chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method at 1200°C for 3 hours. The phases, chemical composition, and microstructure of the as‐prepared products were determined by X‐ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) equipped with EDS. The as‐synthesized products show a needle‐like morphology with hundreds of micrometers in length and nanometer‐featured tips. The nanoneedles show a α‐Si3N4@SiOx core‐shell heterostructure as characterized by TEM, with single‐crystalline α‐Si3N4 core and an insulating amorphous silicon oxide shell. The growth of α‐Si3N4 nanoneedles corresponds to vapor‐liquid‐solid cap‐growth and base‐growth mechanism. Photoluminescence (PL) properties of the products were also characterized. An obvious emission peak at 400 nm under 254 nm UV excitation was observed. Lanthanum hexaaluminate is a promising candidate to establish yttria partially stabilized zirconia as a thermal barrier coating material for super alloy due to their remarkable stability and thermophysical performance. In order to understand the relationship between the structure and properties and gain new low thermal conducting materials, the LnMgAl11O19 (LnMA, Ln: La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd) materials were synthesized firstly and further used to produce the LnMA ceramics. With the increasing relative atomic mass of the replaced Ln3+ ions from La to Gd, the lattice parameters and grain sizes of the LnMA platelets decrease, while the mechanical properties increase, and the thermal physic properties decrease. The GdMgAl11O19 ceramics obtain the lowest thermal conductivity with the value of 1.91‐1.78 W/m K in the range from room temperature to 800°C, which could be considered as a promising candidate for application in thermal barrier coating materials. β‐SiC materials have been seen as the third‐generation semiconductor widely used in kinds of photoelectric device, high temperature electronics, and other fields. Compared with ordinary semiconductors, β‐SiC materials have huge potential application in replacing monocrystalline silicon in extreme environments because of their numerals extraordinary chemical and physical properties. Based on this, β‐SiC nanowires obviously are more desirable in any way. Here, we present a modified chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method to synthesis β‐SiC nanowires, which needs no protect gas, and transfer it to Si/SiO2 substrates equipped with Au electrodes. The microstructure of the as‐prepared samples is tested by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). The humidity sensing performance of electronic device is measured by electrochemical workstation test equipment. It shows that the resistance of β‐SiC nanowires increases with increasing environment humidity within very short response/recovery time‐0.5 seconds/0.5 seconds and also performs excellent cycling stability. The ZrN‐SiAlON composite powder was synthesized using low‐grade zircon and bauxite by carbothermal reduction nitridation at first and then ZrN‐SiAlON‐SiC‐C composite refractory were fabricated with the ZrN‐SiAlON powder, SiC particles, and a small amount of Si powder as raw materials and sucrose as the binder. The slag resistance of these composites in O2, N2 and Ar atmosphere was investigated by X‐ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and energy dispersion spectra. The results show that the pores in the inside of ZrN‐SiAlON‐SiC‐C composite refractory were enlarged in oxygen atmosphere due to oxidation, which leads to the decrease in slag resistance. In argon atmosphere, blast furnace slag destroyed the sintered body of zircon, corundum, and cristobalite with the formation of CaZrO3, then infiltrated into and filled the pores inside the refractory to form a dense layer, which hindered the further erosion of the blast furnace slag. In the reducing atmosphere, the interfacial energy of the gas‐liquid phases became larger due to the reactions between blast furnace slag liquid and the gas, resulting in a larger wetting angle which prevented the erosion. G2 and S‐phase expressed 1 (GTSE1) regulates cell cycle progression in human cancers. However, its significance and mechanism of action in acral melanoma (AM) remain unknown. In the present study, we found that GTSE1 expression was upregulated in advanced stage/metastatic AM tissues and metastatic cell lines, and correlated with higher stage (P = .028) and poor disease‐free survival (DFS) in patients with AM (P = .003). Cox regression assays validated GTSE1 expression to be an independent prognostic factor of DFS for patients with AM (P = .004). Ectopic expression of GTSE1 enhanced primary AM cell proliferation, invasion, and migration. Loss‐of‐function in GTSE1 attenuated metastatic AM cell proliferation and metastatic ability in vitro and in vivo. We additionally observed that inhibition of migration and invasion occurred concomitantly with a GTSE1 knockdown‐mediated increase in E‐cadherin and decreases in N‐cadherin and Slug. We further showed that integrin subunit alpha 2 (ITGA2) interacts with GTSE1 and is a downstream effector of GTSE1. Further, ITGA2 levels were positively correlated with GTSE1 expression in human AM tissues. Ectopic ITGA2 expression rescued siGTSE1‐mediated inhibition of migration and invasion, thereby restoring epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT). In conclusion, GTSE1 expression promotes AM progression and correlates with clinical outcomes of patients with AM, and may represent a promising therapeutic target to suppress AM progression. In this work, the mechanical properties and solid particle erosion wear behavior of LaMgAl11O19-Al2O3 ceramics toughened and reinforced with LaMgAl11O19 platelets were investigated. The effects of LaMgAl11O19 additions, impingement angles (30°, 45°, 60°, 75°, and 90°), and erosion temperatures varying from room temperature to 1400°C on the erosion rates and material removal mechanisms of LaMgAl11O19-Al2O3 composites were systematically studied. The results indicated that LaMgAl11O19-Al2O3 ceramics exhibited superior erosive wear resistance compared to monolithic Al2O3 ceramics at room and elevated temperatures due to their enhanced mechanical properties and improved microstructure resulting from the introduction of an appropriate amount of LaMgAl11O19 platelets. Examination of the eroded surfaces of LaMgAl11O19-Al2O3 composites revealed that erosion temperatures and impingement angles play important roles in determining the erosion behavior and mechanisms of the tested materials. For the case of elevated temperature and oblique erosion, plowing and subsurface intergranular fracture are the predominant mechanisms resulting in material removal, whereas at room temperature and normal impact, the erosion process of the targets is primarily dominated by grain ejection and lateral crack intersection. To overcome disadvantages of the conventional electric energy measurement system (CEEMS) in 10 kV distribution network, the study presents a high‐voltage electrical energy meter (HVEEM) comprised of signal sensors, two measurement units, a synthesis unit, power supplies, and extended communication devices. With measurement chip circuit boards floating at 10 kV potentials, HVEEM accomplishes electrical energy measurement at the primary side. With the whole structure, HVEEM can be calibrated as a whole, and the synchronisation error makes no difference on its whole error. As the core component, the capacitive voltage divider (CVD) acts as not only the voltage sensor but also the power supply. The stability of CVDs, which is almost not affected by temperature, can be improved by the manner of voltage accelerated ageing for a certain time. CVDs for power supplies are able to output enough power for measurement chip circuit boards even if a single‐phase ground or an opening fault occurs. The tests both in the laboratory and the field prove that HVEEM has substantial advantages over CEEMS especially in accuracy and reliability. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A case of phosphor is reported where the cooling rate parameter significantly influences the luminescence property. By quenching the sample after the high-temperature solid-state reaction at 1250°C, we successfully prepared the Eu2+-doped α form Ca3( PO4)2 (α- TCP:Eu2+) as a new kind of bright cyan-emitting phosphor. The unusual emission color variation (from cyan to blue) depends on the cooling rate after sintering and Eu2+ doping level as it was observed in the TCP-based phosphors. By the Rietveld analysis, it is revealed that the cyan- and blue-emitting phosphors are two different TCP forms crystallizing in the monoclinic (space group P21/ a, α- TCP) and the rhombohedral structure (space group R3 c, β- TCP), respectively. Upon 365 nm UV light excitation, α- TCP:Eu2+ exhibits an asymmetric broad-band cyan emission peaking at 480 nm, while β- TCP:Eu2+ displays a relatively narrow-band blue emission peaking at 416 nm. The Eu2+-doping in Ca3( PO4)2 shifts the upper temperature limit of the stable structural range of β form from 1125°C to ≥1250°C. Moreover, the crystal structures of α/β- TCP:Eu2+ were compared in the aspects of compactness and cation site sets. The emission thermal stability of α/β- TCP:Eu2+ was comparatively characterized and the difference was related to the specific host structural features. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To study the improvement in solid particle impact erosion wear resistances of 3 mol% yttria-stabilized zirconia (3YSZ) ceramic at elevated temperatures up to 1400°C, 2 wt% LaMgA111O19 was added into 3YSZ to prepare LaMgA111O19-3YSZ ceramic for erosion resistance tests with angular corundum abrasive particles. The testing results show that the volume erosion rates of 3YSZ and LaMgA111O19-3YSZ ceramic were similar in the temperature range from room temperature to 600°C, then exhibited a sharp increase from 600°C to 1200°C, and dropped again at 1400°C. It was mainly caused by the change in material removal mechanisms from plastic deformation below 600°C to the interaction of transverse cracks in the temperature range from 600°C to 1400°C. The solid particle impact erosion wear properties of 3YSZ ceramic in the temperature range from 600°C to 1400°C were successfully improved by the addition 2 wt% LaMgA111O19 platelets. SrIn2O4, which shows lower phonon energy than CaIn2O4, is not only a good photocatalyst but also can be an excellent up-conversion (UC) host to exhibits UC luminescence. In this work, Yb3+ and/or Er3+ doped SrIn2O4 phosphors were synthesized, and their UC luminescence properties were studied and compared with those in the CaIn2O4 host. The structure of SrIn2O4: 0.01Er3+ and SrIn2O4: 0.1Yb3+/0.01Er3+ samples were refined by the Rietveld method and found to that SrIn2O4: 0.1Yb3+/0.01Er3+ showed increasing unit cell parameters and cell volume, indicating In3+ sites were substituted successfully by Yb3+ and/or Er3+ ions. From the UC luminescence spectra and diffuse reflection spectra, Er3+-doped SrIn2O4 showed very weak luminescence due to ground state absorption of Er3+; Yb3+/Er3+ codoped SrIn2O4 presented strong green (550 nm) and red (663 nm) UC emissions which were assigned to energy transfer from Yb3+ transition 2F7/2→2F5/2 to the Er3+ transition 4S3/2 → 4I15/2 and 4F9/2 → 4I15/2. Comparing with CaIn2O4, Yb3+/Er3+ codoped SrIn2O4 showed obvious advantages with higher UC luminescent intensity. The pumping powers study showed that UC emissions in Yb3+/Er3+ codoped SrIn2O4 were attributed to energy transfer of Yb3+→Er3+ with a two-photon process. Novel LaMgAl11O19:Tm3+, Dy3+ phosphors were prepared utilizing a high-temperature solid-state reaction method. The phase formation, luminescence properties, energy-transfer mechanism from the Tm3+ to the Dy3+ ions, the thermal stability, and CIE coordinates were investigated. When excited at 359 nm, the LaMgAl11O19: xTm3+ phosphors exhibit strong blue emission bands at 455 nm. After codoping with Dy3+ and excitation at 359 nm, the LaMgAl11O19:0.03Tm3+, yDy3+ phosphors emitted white light consisting of the characteristic emission peaks of Tm3+ and Dy3+. The Dy3+ emission intensity increased with the Dy3+ concentration due to the energy transfer from Tm3+ to Dy3+, and concentration quenching due to the high Dy3+ doping concentration (y = 0.1 mol) did not occur. The calculation of the CIE coordinates of the LaMgAl11O19: Tm3+, yDy3+ phosphors revealed the tunability of the emission color from blue to bluish-white and to white by changing the excitation wavelength and the doping concentration. An energy transfer from Tm3+ to Dy3+ by dipole-dipole interaction was confirmed by the decay curve, lifetime, and energy-transfer efficiency measurements. When excited at 359 nm, the LaMgAl11O19:Tm3+, Dy3+ phosphor also showed good thermal stability, suggesting that it can be used in white LEDs excited by a GaN-based ultraviolet LED. Neuraminidase is a significant anti-influenza target that plays crucial role in virus replication cycle. The discovery of 150-cavity in Group-1 neuraminidase provides us a novel mentality of designing inhibitor which can bind with both conserved site and 150-cavity. In order to discover novel dual-site-binding inhibitors, a 3D chemical-feature-based pharmacophore model was established to cover dual-site in neuraminidase. The dual-site-binding model was consistent in predicting the binding conformation of Group-1 neuraminidase inhibitor and applied for virtual screening of Specs database. Compound 4 (ZINC05790048) that aligned well to the model was selected after multiple filtrations for molecular dynamics simulations, indicating improved binding energy with neuraminidase.
