Purpose The objective of this study was to determine the effects of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on the volume of trauma patients, the number of orthopedic trauma operations, and the severity of injuries. We also investigated the correlations between social distancing and these variables.Methods This was a retrospective review of trauma patient cases at a single focused training center for trauma in Korea from January 2017 to April 2021. The COVID-19 group included patients treated from January 1 to April 30 in 2020 and 2021, and the control group included patients treated during the same months from 2017 to 2019. The volume of trauma patients according to the level of social distancing was evaluated among patients treated from August 2, 2020 to November 23, 2020.Results The study included 3,032 patients who presented to the emergency department with traumatic injuries from January to April 2017 to 2021. The average number of patients was 646.7 and 546.0 in the control and COVID-19 groups, respectively. The percentage of patients injured in traffic accidents (TAs) decreased from 25.0% to 18.2% (pp=0.0002 and pp=0.0128). The proportion of patients with an Injury Severity Score above 15 and the mortality rate did not change significantly. As the level of social distancing increased, the number of trauma patients and the number of trauma injuries from TAs decreased. The number of orthopedic trauma operations also depended on the social distancing level.Conclusions The number of trauma patients presenting to the emergency department decreased during the COVID-19 period. The volume of trauma patients and orthopedic trauma operations decreased as the social distance level increased.

One of non-formal institution which applies Arabic learning practice method is Islamic Training Center (ITC), an Arabic course institution standardized the Middle East by using EL-BARQIE (special method without formula). ITC uses motto 5 in 1 including Qowa’id ‘Arabiyyah Shamilah, Qira’ah, Kitabah, Tarjamah, Muhadathah, and Ta’bir. This institution is located in Jl. Brawijaya 16 Singgahan, beside ITC mosque Pelem, Pare, Kediri. This research aims at investigating Arabic learning system in Islamic Training Center (ITC) Pare, and the outcome of the students in learning Arabic language in that institution. The finding shows that the special characteristic of ITC that is different with the others is the Middle East standard which can be seen in (1) the accent used in learning Arabic language which always uses lahjah Arabian, especially when takallum. (2) tarkib al-kalimah / sentence pattern used in Arabic language either takallum, qira’ah or kitabah must use Arabian pattern/tarkib Arab fushha, preposition, muta’addi sentence, not Indonesian pattern, but Arabian pattern. Aim This article aimed to review adverse events and complications to orthognathic surgery based upon 10 years. Material and methods This study was a retrospective investigation between 2009 and 2018. Independent variables such as sex, age, pre-operative conditions, diagnosis, type of surgery, bleeding volume, surgery duration, and hospitalization were recorded. The data regarding orthognathic surgery adverse events and complications were evaluated and statistically analyzed with a significance level of p Results A total of 891 patients were included in this study (male 39.1%, female 60.9%) with a mean age of 26.4 ± 6.09 years. A neurosensory disturbance was found as immediate post-operative sequelae as 93.5%. The four most frequent complications had a relapse (6.4%), post-operative TMD (5.7%), unfavorable osteotomy (5.5%), and infection (4.9%), which seem to be more common in males. An average blood loss was 497 ± 371 ml and the average operative time was 401 ± 109.3 min. Complication rates were statistically affected by bleeding volume (p-value = 0.01), operative time (p-value = 0.03), and type of skeletal deformity (p-value = 0.01). Conclusion Although numerous complications were recorded, no fatal complications were experienced. Bleeding time, operative time, and skeletal classification have significant influence on orthognathic surgery complications. However, a multitude of factors could be modified to reduce the complication rate and improve the result of the treatment. One of the most significant factors was the operative time.

[ES] El proyecto busca regenerar el eje de la calle Sagunto, realizando un corredor verde, accesible y comercial que conecte el barrio de Morvedre con el centro de Valencia. Además, a lo largo de la calle se plantea una serie de intervenciones para la creación de espacios públicos y equipamientos sociales. La intervención en la que se centra el proyecto busca regenerar el barrio de Morvedre, realizando la actuación en dos solares ubicados en el cruce de la calle Sagunto y la calle Ruaya. El proyecto pretende rehabilitar y reformar ciertas zonas poniendo en valor la identidad del lugar. Para ello, se proyectan equipamientos sociales, como: un centro de formación que enseñe los oficios artesanales que hay en el barrio (sopladores de vidrio, carpinteros y metalúrgicos¿) un centro intergeneracional compuesto por tres zonas: una infantil, una para jóvenes y una para personas de la tercera edad, un aula multiusos que pueda servir para la celebración de actos y para ensayos de las escuelas de baile y música de la zona. In addition, a series of interventions are proposed for the creation of public spaces and social facilities. The intervention on which the project is focused is intended to regenerate the Morvedre neighbourhood, performing actions on two plots located at the intersection of Sagunto Street and Ruaya Street. The project is aimed at rehabilitating and reforming certain areas in order to save the identity of the place. To this end, social facilities are planned, such as: an educational centre to teach the crafts that exist in the neighbourhood (glassblowers, carpenters, metalworkers...) and an intergenerational centre consisted of three areas: one for children, one for young people and one for the elderly. Besides, it will have a multipurpose room that could be used for events, rehearsals and classes for dance and music schools from the area. Finally, all this will be integrated through public arcaded spaces.

The need to introduce new approaches to organizing the training of a variable composition in training centers is due to the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and the need for state defense forces in well-trained junior specialists. This requires a sound approach to the issues of improving the training system, which is impossible without the use of an appropriate scientific and methodological apparatus for assessing the level of competencies of a variable composition in training centers. In the article, based on the existing scientific and methodological apparatus for assessing the effectiveness of training, a methodological approach is proposed for assessing the level of competence of military personnel of the variable composition of the training center, built on the basis of calculating a multi-criteria dimensionless assessment, which allows not only to evaluate the results of training in subjects of study, but also to take into account personal qualities significantly influencing the performance of tasks in the military specialty. The indicators that have a direct impact on the level of competence of the variable composition of the training center include: the level of training and the level of personal qualities. The assessment of the level of training is calculated according to the dependence, taking into account the level of knowledge, skills and abilities of military personnel of variable composition in the subjects provided for by the training programs. The assessment of the level of personal qualities is calculated on the basis of dependence, taking into account the individual psychological and volitional qualities of a serviceman, his motivation for service activities. This approach makes it possible to quantify the level of competence of military personnel, as well as to identify problems (miscalculations) in the organization and conduct of training, which in turn requires the development of recommendations to improve its effectiveness. The results of the study can be used in the practice of assessing the level of competence of servicemen of variable composition in training centers., Необхідність впровадження нових підходів щодо організації підготовки змінного складу в навчальних центрах зумовлено широкомасштабною збройною агресією Російської Федерації проти України та потребою сил оборони держави у якісно підготовлених молодших спеціалістах. Зазначене вимагає обґрунтованого підходу до питань удосконалення системи підготовки, що не можливо без використання відповідного науково-методичного апарату з оцінювання рівня компетентностей змінного складу в навчальних центрах. У статті на основі наявного науково-методичного апарату з оцінювання ефективності підготовки запропоновано методичний підхід щодо оцінювання рівня компетентностей військовослужбовців змінного складу навчального центру, який побудовано на основі розрахунку багатокритеріальної безрозмірної оцінки, що дає змогу не тільки оцінити результати підготовки з предметів навчання, але й врахувати особисті якості, що суттєво впливають на виконання завдань за військово-обліковою спеціальністю. До показників, які здійснюють безпосередній вплив на рівень компетентностей змінного складу навчального центру віднесено: рівень навченості та рівень особистих якостей. Оцінка рівня навченості розраховується за залежністю, яка враховує рівень знань, умінь та навичок військовослужбовців змінного складу з предметів передбачених програмами підготовки. Оцінка рівня особистих якостей розраховується за залежністю, яка враховує індивідуально-психологічні та вольові якості військовослужбовця, його мотивацію до службової діяльності. Зазначений підхід надає можливість провести кількісну оцінку рівня компетентностей військовослужбовців, а також виявити проблеми (прорахунки) в організації та проведенні підготовки, що в свою чергу потребує розробки рекомендацій з підвищення її ефективності. Результати проведеного дослідження можуть бути використані в практиці оцінювання рівня компетентностей військовослужбовців змінного складу у навчальних центрах.

The article reveals the importance of learning of foreign languages, English and German in particular. Language learning is a serious challenge for Ukrainian researchers as the world continues to become increasingly connected, learning a language other than English is considered a necessity. There are many linguistic centers, training centers, language schools aiming to teach languages to Ukrainian students. Advancing technologies have afforded people the ability to communicate in a distance in the world, amplifying the importance of foreign language study. And as more business leaders and corporations reach out to global audiences and markets, the importance of knowing another language comes in handy for graduates seeking a job. Many organizations need individuals who can work in a culturally diverse environment but also boast strong skills in a modern foreign language. The CEFR divides general competences in knowledge, skills, and existential competence with particular communicative competences in linguistic competence, sociolinguistic competence, and pragmatic competence. A language user can develop various degrees of competence in each of these domains and to help describe them, the CEFR has provided a set of six Common Reference Levels (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2). English borrowings fi ll up Ukrainian lexicon actively, pronunciation, morphology and syntax have been considerably influenced by English. The causes of this are obvious: computerizing, urge towards the international standards of business partnership, towards science and education. However quite a bit of Anglicisms force the specific Ukrainian words out of appeal, and it is a linguistic aggression. There are many reasons to learn foreign languages. Learning a foreign language can help understand your own language and make it easier to learn others., У статті визначено роль германських мов (зокрема англійської та німецької) в умовах глобалізації. Важливість навчання мов упродовж ХХ століття набуло об’єктивної актуалізації завдяки інтенсивному розвитку і масштабним досягненням психології, нейрофізіології, фізіології нервової діяльності, соціології, кібернетики, теорії комунікації та появі нових міждисциплінарних галузей прикладних наук. Зазначено, що англійська мова є вагомим джерелом збагачення рідної мови через швидкий розвиток ІТ технологій. Поповнення лексичного складу української мови запозиченнями з англійської та німецької мов в сучасний період відбувається надзвичайно швидко й інтенсивно. Завдяки оволодінню англійською та німецькою мовами українські науковці виходять на світову арену науки.

The purpose of this article is to scientifically study the activity and scope of the Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) through a systematic review of the literature. For this purpose, a Boolean search is carried out and the information is extracted from three databases: Scopus, SSCI and EBSCOhost. The specific objectives are: to identify the different theoretical perspectives that characterize and define the literature related to SBDCs and to highlight the connections between them; determine the perspective to which researchers have given the greatest importance according to a trend analysis of publications; identify the greatest exponents of the subject and identify the sources that are most consulted. To obtain the bibliometric information, citation techniques were used to select, analyze and interpret the patterns within the literature. It is achieved: identifying business development and entrepreneurship education as the two main theoretical perspectives; business education is established as the most important perspective given its growth; the greatest exponents and sources that publish the subject are recognized. From a practical aspect, this research contributes to the analysis of the existing theory on SBDC and shows their effectiveness. El propósito de este artículo es estudiar científicamente la actividad y los alcances de los Centros para el Desarrollo de la Pequeña Empresa (SBDC), a través de una revisión sistemática de la literatura. Para tal fin, se realiza una búsqueda booleana y se extrae la información de tres bases de datos: Scopus, SSCI y EBSCOhost. Los objetivos específicos son: identificar las diferentes perspectivas teóricas que caracterizan y definen la literatura relacionada con los SBDC y destacar las conexiones entre ellas; determinar la perspectiva a la que los investigadores le han otorgado mayor importancia de acuerdo con un análisis de tendencias de las publicaciones; identificar los mayores exponentes del tema e identificar las fuentes que mayormente son consultadas. Para obtener la información bibliométrica se utilizaron técnicas de citación para seleccionar, analizar e interpretar los patrones dentro de la literatura. Se logra: identificar el desarrollo de negocios y la educación empresarial como las dos principales perspectivas teóricas; se establece la educación empresarial como la perspectiva de mayor importancia dado su crecimiento; se reconocen los mayores exponentes, y fuentes que publican el tema. Desde un aspecto práctico, esta investigación contribuye al análisis de la teoría existente sobre SBDC y evidencia la efectividad de estos. &nbsp

En este proyecto de grado, se diseñará un centro de formación gastronómica en la ciudad de Bucaramanga, ubicado en la comuna 13 oriental, sobre la esquina de la carrera 34 con calle 35. Este proyecto busca suplir un déficit de capacitación de las personas dedicadas al sector alimenticio del área metropolitana, al igual que apoyar a otras instituciones que educan a nivel tecnológico y profesional. Esto a causa de un gran crecimiento en el número de restaurantes y locales comerciales en el área metropolitana. El centro de formación va enfocado a todas las personas que necesiten capacitaciones generales y específicas, para el trabajo en el sector alimenticio, tanto industrial, como en locales de servicio al público. El proyecto se desarrollará, basado en las normativas vigentes enfocadas en el adecuado manejo y preparación de los alimentos, como también las que indiquen los requerimientos en infraestructura que son necesarios para un desarrollo ideal de las actividades educativas y administrativas. The project will be developed, based on current regulations focused on the correct handling and preparation of food, as well as those that indicate the infrastructure requirements that are necessary for an optimal development of educational and administrative activities. Data will also be taken from the Cámara de Comercio, in order to identify the number of new restaurants in the city in recent years, to obtain possible coverage in the city as a result.
