Solenostomus cyanopterus Bleeker 1854 —Longtail ghost pipefish Status at New Ireland. New record, based on a specimen photographed at Lissenung Island, Kavieng District, 18 m depth, by Dean Tully on 17 Sept. 2012. Distribution and habitat. Associated with coral reefs, 4–20 m depth.
