Background The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about social changes that have impacted the functioning and dynamics of couples in a romantic relationship, arising from the overwhelming amount of added stress they have endured. Specifically, the divorce rate in Portugal has increased after lockdown, which underscores the adverse consequences of COVID-19 on couples. A lower quality of the couple’s relationship may worsen the emotional representation of COVID-19; however, the literature suggests that perceived partner dyadic coping responses have a great influence on adverse events. The aim of the present study was to assess the mediating role of partner coping in the association between relationship quality and emotional representation of COVID-19. We also sought to observe whether the length of the relationship moderates this association. Methods Participants (N = 528) were adults living in Portugal (84.7% female) currently in a romantic relationship with their current partner for at least 1 year. Online data collection. Results We found that relationship quality predicted COVID-19 emotional representation, but this association was fully mediated by total dyadic coping. This association was especially significant in couples with a shorter length of time in the relationship. Conclusions We point out the importance of dyadic coping as a protective factor against emotional distress to cope with the ongoing stressors associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. These data suggest the need for relationship education programs that promote positive coping between partners.

El Servei de Suport i Atenció Emocional (SSAE) dels centres educatius del Pla de Barris de Barcelona serveix per promoure un clima escolar positiu i les habilitats socioemocionals. L'objectiu d'aquest article és explorar l'experiència dels seus professionals en relació amb la implementació d'una línia estratègica del servei, els cercles de paraula. En concret, s'explora la seva utilitat, els facilitadors i barreres que han incidit en la seva implementació i les propostes de futur que podrien ajudar a millorar-los. Es realitza un estudi descriptiu qualitatiu amb dos grups focals. Els resultats mostren la utilitat dels cercles de paraula en tant que faciliten el coneixement de l'altre, permeten el treball de competències socioemocionals i de valors. De la valoració dels facilitadors i barreres es destaca la importància de la participació dels tutors, de flexibilitat en la implementació, la capacitació per dur-los a terme, el seu encaix amb els objectius de les direccions dels centres i les administracions locals, entre d'altres. Aquest treball permet avançar en el coneixement dels cercles de paraula i la seva aplicació en el context escolar. Aquest coneixement és important per poder dissenyar, adaptar i millorar la línia estratègica del SSAE i el propi servei.

El ser humano es un ser social: su naturaleza lo lleva a relacionarse con las personas que lo rodean y su entorno. Esta acción innata de relacionarse conlleva a reunirse y organizar grupos, donde los individuos, inconscientemente, se colocan de tal modo de acotar el espacio en el que se encuentran, buscando cierta proximidad entre ellos y cierta distancia con su rededor. Esta demarcación involuntaria de un espacio propio es lo que da forma a una geometría, un dibujo en el territorio: un espacio delimitado en forma de perímetro, que deja un vacío en su centro. Este vacío contenido, que surge de las distancias entre sujetos, muchas veces es “ocupado” por un elemento central en torno al cual se articula la reunión. El escenario creado se puede considerar como una arquitectura que, si bien no hay nada edificado, sí genera un espacio arquitectónico. Precisamente esto dio pie a identificar tres elementos presentes en una reunión, como si estos fueran los componentes que arman la escena. Comenzando por el fuego, como el primer elemento en torno al cual los seres humanos se congregaron. Luego, la mesa; como pieza fundamental del día a día que, extendiéndose más allá del solo acto de comer, se ha transformado en una superficie horizontal símbolo de la vida social y de las relaciones interpersonales. Y, por último, la silla; en cuanto esta, si bien no ocupa un centro, se entiende como un perímetro construido que se origina al aproximar unas sillas, generando, a la vez, una relación inmediata entre quienes se ubican en ellas. Una vez establecidos estos elementos, se decidió exponer tres escenarios donde es posible clarificar el entendimiento de la reunión como arquitectura, pero sólo a partir de uno de ellos: la mesa. Cada una de estas reflexiones apuntan a leer las acciones cotidianas de otra manera, donde es posible considerar al ser humano como creador de espacio y, en definitiva, revelar las reuniones sociales como un espacio arquitectónico.

Al llarg de la trajectòria històrica, la idea d'alteritat s’ha anat modificant a partir de diversos eixos i circumstàncies contextuals. Amb l’auge de les xarxes socials i els entorns digitals, l’alteritat esdevé artífex de noves maneres de concebre la col·lectivitat i es fa palès una forta presència de l’organisme visual. Aquest treball aborda algunes de les noves dinàmiques que les xarxes socials —principalment a Instagram— aporten a la noció d'alteritat i com afecten a les relacions interpersonals, originant canvis substancials en la relació amb l’altre a través de la distorsió de la imatge d’aquest i potenciant tant l’increment del narcisisme com la homogeneïtzació discursiva, realitats que alimenten l’exclusió de la diferència., [eng] Alterity is a key concept to understand what shapes the notion of what is not one's own identity, but it is also what defines human affinities, and even what helps us shape the conception of the self. Throughout history, the idea of otherness has been modified based on various axes and contextual circumstances. With the rise of social networks and digital environments, alterity becomes the architect of new ways of conceiving collectivity and a strong presence of the visual organism becomes evident. This work addresses some of the new dynamics that social networks —mainly on Instagram— bring to the notion of otherness and how they affect interpersonal relationships, causing substantial changes in the relationship with the other through the distortion of the image of this and enhancing both the increase in narcissism and discursive homogenization, realities that fuel the exclusion of difference., [spa] La alteridad es un concepto clave para entender lo que configura la noción de lo que no es la identidad propia, pero también es lo que define las afinidades humanas, e incluso, lo que nos ayuda a configurar la concepción del yo. A lo largo de la trayectoria histórica, la idea de alteridad se ha ido modificando a partir de varios ejes y circunstancias contextuales. Con el auge de las redes sociales y los entornos digitales, la alteridad se convierte en artífice de nuevas formas de concebir la colectividad y se pone de manifiesto una fuerte presencia del organismo visual. Este trabajo aborda algunas de las nuevas dinámicas que las redes sociales — principalmente en Instagram— aportan a la noción de alteridad y cómo afectan a las relaciones interpersonales, originando cambios sustanciales en la relación con el otro a través de la distorsión de la imagen de éste y potenciando tanto el incremento del narcisismo como la homogeneización discursiva, realidades que alimentan la exclusión de la diferencia.

Research shows the benefits quality friendships have throughout humans’ lives. Recent scientific literature focuses on social impact. However, the social impact of reading and dialoguing about a book about friendship is not explored. This study aims to analyze the impact of “Creative Friendships” in the lives of participants and their surroundings. Using communicative methodology, based on dialogical co-creation from the start, it includes 30 participants from diverse backgrounds and ages through individual interviews, a focus group and the observation of two dialogic seminars. Results show how reading and discussing the book impacted participants’ views of beauty, goodness, truth, and freedom.

We have implemented in our lives all kinds of new technologies. We live surrounded by screens and social media and sometimes we forget that we also live in a physical world. This project aims to use the very same technologies that most applications use to keep people looking at the screen with a different purpose. We intend to build a mobile app to bring people closer and encourage them to meet up face to face.

Uno de los pilares fundamentales de la actual relación asistencial es el principio de autonomía. Las personas tienen el derecho legítimo de poder decidir qué tipos de tratamientos desean o rechazan. Ahora bien, también está ampliamente aceptado que para ello es condición indispensable disponer de un cierto grado de competencia para decidir, esto es, la capacidad mental que se muestra a través de aptitudes y habilidades psicológicas suficientes que garanticen que es una decisión razonada y razonable. Esta cuestión ha sido frecuentemente discutida y analizada en el ámbito sanitario. Una crítica usual ha sido que de manera habitual este tema se ha enfocado desde una perspectiva funcional, biologicista, ciñéndose a los aspectos psicológicos.

This article identifies the factors that characterise effective interpersonal partnerships between teachingassistants (TAs) and teachers working in inclusive schools in Catalonia (Spain). This phenomenologicalstudy, based on 40 semi-structured interviews with 22 TAs and 18 teachers revealed that the maininterpersonal factors affecting partnerships were: feeling at ease; trust; respect; and valuing one another.Participants detailed key aspects such as personal affinity, professional compatibility, open communi-cation, a sense of belonging to a class-group, and teamwork, as additionally important for successfulpartnerships. Thefindings provide insight into how schools can support the development of effective TA-teacher partnerships. Implications are discussed. Una d’elles, és la xarxa social restringida i qualitativament diferent respecte etapes anteriors de la vida. L’actual projecte tenia l’objectiu d’investigar com el confinament espanyol per COVID-19 afectà a les relacions socials de les persones grans. Tal propòsit general, es va subdividir en dos d’específics: cercar els vincles que milloraren positivament, així com els seus motius de canvi (1), i fer el mateix amb els que empitjoraren (2). Es va administrar un qüestionari en línia a 1073 subjectes majors de 55 anys. Tractava sobre l’experiència de cada participant amb la pandèmia i el confinament. Posteriorment, es realitzà una anàlisi quantitativa de contingut a quatre preguntes obertes del qüestionari, relacionades amb la temàtica d’aquest treball. El nombre de persones que milloraren alguna relació social fou molt superior a les que empitjoraren. La família i els amics van ser, respectivament, els nexes que més variaren. Com a raons de modificació, a nivell positiu destacaren el contacte interpersonal junt amb el recolzament emocional i funcional. En l’aspecte negatiu van predominar la davallada del contacte, i els canvis en la pròpia persona. Una de ellas, es la red social restringida y cualitativamente diferente respecto a etapas anteriores de la vida. El actual proyecto tenía el objetivo de investigar cómo el confinamiento español por COVID-19 afectó a las relaciones sociales de las personas mayores. Tal propósito general, lo subdividimos en dos de específicos: buscar los vínculos que mejoraron positivamente, así como sus motivos de cambio (1), y hacer lo mismo con los que empeoraron (2). Se administró un cuestionario en línea a 1073 sujetos mayores de 55 años. Trataba sobre la experiencia de cada participante con la pandemia y el confinamiento. Posteriormente, se realizó un análisis cuantitativo de contenido a cuatro preguntas abiertas del cuestionario, relacionadas con la temática de este trabajo. El número de personas que mejoraron alguna relación social fue muy superior a las que empeoraron. La familia y los amigos son, respectivamente, los nexos que más variaron. Como razones de modificación, a nivel positivo destacaron el contacto interpersonal junto con el apoyo emocional y funcional. En el aspecto negativo predominaron la decaída del contacto, y los cambios en la propia persona. Finalmente, este estudio puede resultar útil para aportar visibilidad a algunos efectos poco investigados de la pandemia, constituyendo una base que permita seguir profundizando en ellos., [eng] Starting from the fact that people are heterogeneous beings, old age has some generally common characteristics. One of them is a restricted and qualitatively different social network in comparison with previous stages of life. Our project had the objective to investigate how the Spanish lockdown by COVID-19 affected the social relationships of elder adults. We subdivided this general purpose into two specific ones: to look for the relationships which improved positively, as well as their reasons for change (1), and to do the same with those that worsened (2). An online questionnaire was applied to 1073 individuals over 55 years old. It asked about the experience of each participant with the pandemic and lockdown. Afterwards, a quantitative content analysis was carried out on four open questions of the survey, everyone related to the issue of this project. The number of people who improved any social relationship was much higher than those who worsened. Family and friends are, respectively, the links which oscillated the most. As positive reasons for change, participants highlighted interpersonal contact but also emotional and functional support. On the negative side, the deterioration in contact and intrapersonal modifications were the predominant answers. Finally, this study could be useful providing visibility to some under-researched effects of the pandemic, and constitutes a basis for developing them more.

This paper presents some of the implications of the theatrical metaphor throughout which Erving Goffman analyses face-to-face social relations. This perspective considers the staging of the individual in each situation in which they take part as an ensemble of strategies set aside for controlling the self-image they are trying to project, in order to make their performance plausible. The article stresses that the goal of this dramatisation of the self is to restrain the inconsistencies, uncertainties and ambiguities that would cast doubts on the observance of the rules that make each one acceptable before others. The text aims to point out that, within this theoretical framework, sincerity, understood as a way of communication that guarantees the truthfulness of the information transmitted during a social encounter, is unfeasible, since what the interlocutors seek is never to express any hypothetical subjective truth but, above all, to continue to be foreseeable, to confirm a self-definition that the others will accept. Within this framework, in social life there are no actors but only characters.

El text es basa en l'anàlisi del raonament moral a partir del marc dels models organitzadors. A partir de la determinació de les diferents representacions que una sèrie de subjectes va realitzar sobre un dilema basat en un conflicte moral entre iguals d'edat, i que va incloure tres nuclis (justícia, felicitat i sol·licitud) es va detectar que existeixen quatre grans models organitzadors que es presenten en diferents línies evolutives. La tesi que es defensa és que la inclusió dels sentiments pot guiar el raonament a nivells més elevats i pot integrar les perspectives de justícia i solidaritat a l'hora de resoldre conflictes interpersonals. A l'article s'afirma que tot això són reptes en els quals és necessari treballar per aconseguir un model educatiu integrador dins de les escoles., The theory of the organisational model becomes a basis for an analysis of the moral reasoning. At first, the different representations of a number of persons upon a certain dilemma are settled. That dilemma was based on a moral conflict among people with the same age and it involved three issues (justice, happiness and solicitude). The results of the study showed four big organisational models which appear in different evolutive guidelines. The main thesis is that the inclusion of feelings can put reasoning on higher levels and it can integrate the perspectives of justice and solidarity when solving intrapersonal conflicts. All these are proposals, which must be developed in order to achieve an integrator educational model within schools., El texto se basa en el análisis del razonamiento moral a partir del marco de los modelos organizadores. A partir de la determinación de las diferentes representaciones que una serie de sujetos realizaron sobre un dilema basado en un conflicto moral entre iguales de edad, y que incluyó tres núcleos (justicia, felicidad y cuidado) se detectó que existen cuatro grandes modelos organizadores que se presentan en diferentes líneas evolutivas. La tesis que se defiende es que la inclusión de los sentimientos puede guiar el razonamiento a niveles más elevados y puede integrar las perspectivas de justicia y solidaridad a la hora de resolver conflictos interpersonales. En el artículo se afirma que todo esto son retos en los cuales es necesario trabajar para conseguir un modelo educativo integrador dentro de las escuelas.

[eng] This study sets out to understand the experiences of young people as they undergo Sail Training aboard tall ships (i.e., traditional rigged sailing ships propelled exclusively by wind). It goes beyond current literature on the educational value of Sail Training by focusing on how youngsters actually experience sailing as a way of life. Many young people sense a tension between what they are expected to do, for themselves or their families, and what it feels like to live with everyday decisions. To find harmony in one’s path of life, just like in sailing a ship, one must deal with these contrary forces. On board a tall ship, a manifold of lines is continually generating harmony by way of the tension imparted from the ropes to the sails, from the sails to the whole boat, and from any part of the boat to its crew members. Dwelling on board arises from within this tug of contrary forces. It is a creative dwelling since movement is a constant to which every element in the oceanic medium adjusts itself. In the introduction, I establish the theoretical basis of the study in the maritime environment, in which sailing was practised long before the science of the West attempted to put the ocean under control as it had already done with the territorialisation of the land. To follow the history of the maritime environment and its inhabitants reveals a complex set of skills not only for building the boat as a craft, but also for staying afloat once at sea. Sailing on tall ships offers opportunities to become involved in this process in which, as in every society in past times, experts instruct novices in the course of working together. In the first chapter, tall ships are presented as large sailing vessels that, like earlier craft, need permanent maintenance to remain seaworthy. To keep them so, some friendship races and regattas are organised by Sail Training International, with host ports using the fleet to hold heritage events. These events help to raise the funds to enable young people to participate. Chapter two describes how youngsters without previous experience of sailing, and amateurs including myself, enter this environment as crew members. In the process of becoming familiar with this environment, they get their sea legs. Chapter three shows how the craft, as a shelter affording movement and perception, is both a home in which to stay afloat on the waves and a calming of the wind that, thanks to the sails, provides the required energy to glide the hull over the water. Chapter four describes the organisation on board, with its system of watches or work shifts. This seems simpler than life on land because one does not have to worry about anything other than the established routine. However, since one follows the same daily routines, an awareness of environmental changes emerges with the perception of non-human phenomena like wind, dolphins, waves, clouds and so on. Crew members become sensitised to the ocean environment, to the others and to themselves when responsibilities on board are shared day and night. Attention at sea is existential, it is a matter of life and death, whereas on land it remains contingent on particular interests. At sea, the watch system leads to the development of a meshwork of relationships, described here as a taskship, a creative and trustworthy bonding which lasts for the duration of the voyage. The mutuality on board, discussed in chapter five, allows crew members to develop a sense of who they are while in the company of others. Thus the taskship is constitutive of dwelling on board. Optimal sailing is evidence of the quality of the relationships on board and vice versa, the quality of the relationships on board is shown through the best set of sails to get underway. Finally, in chapter six, it is shown that the wisdom and skills obtained in this ocean-sky world make the difference between an experience that is intentionally transformative for the young person undergoing it and a sailing experience that opens up to an understanding of life., [cat] Aquesta tesi pretén entendre les formes d'habitar el mar a partir de les experiències de navegació d'altura en grans velers. A partir d’un extens treball de camp a bord de grans velers, s’hi detalla les particularitats d’aquest l'entorn, que són de flexibilitat, equitat i intimitat; com es gestiona l'organització social a bord en grups de guàrdies, a la vegada que a partir de les habilitats marineres, es construeix el vaixell com un lloc per viure i en permanent construcció. Aquest lloc habitat, es construeix com un refugi (‘shelter’) que al mar ofereix les condicions necessàries per sobreviure. El fet que ofereixi la protecció necessària sense ser una construcció físicament sòlida per a habitar el mar, fa que el mar es percebi de forma diferent a com percebem l’habitar la terra ferma. Al mar, una nova manera de percebre ‘hàptica’, requereix l'adaptació contínua dels membres de la tripulació al moviment i ritmes del mar. Gestionar aquest equilibri comporta uns tres dies de malestar i vòmits, i es diu que quan un ja té ‘cames de mar’, ja no es mareja més. Un cop obtingudes les cames de mar, el vaixell, viscut com una extensió del propi cos, ofereix a tots els participants sense previ coneixement d'aquest entorn, la possibilitat de conèixer i desenvolupar les habilitats marineres necessàries per a la navegació. A través d’aquestes habilitats s'estableix una relació amb els materials i les formes que es van conformant en l’embarcació (anomenat ‘taskship’ o línies de treball a bord), totes elles fruit de la participació i resposta de cadascun dels components humans i no humans d'aquest entorn. Per tant, la relació que s'estableix amb l'entorn és d'aprenentatge a través de processos concentració (i no pas de cognició) sobre l'experiència viscuda. A bord, el compromís moral preval al compromís per obligació, ja que, de no ser així, difícilment es podria forçar la participació de tots els tripulants en la construcció contínua del propi vaixell. Aquest compromís moral facilita l'equitat, amb la qual cada membre resulta rellevant en aquest entorn hostil, on d'un moment a l'altre tot pot canviar, i on el treball continu així ho exigeix. Una bona navegació reflecteix la qualitat de relacions a bord i de correspondències amb l'entorn, amb el vaixell i entre els participants. Finalment, aquest anàlisi reflecteix el concepte de lloc com un lloc amb profund moviment de relacions, més que un espai físicament localitzat. Aquest lloc és compartit i viscut amb gran atenció, i per aquest motiu roman en la memòria de tots els participants com un saber adaptar-se a allò que ha d’esdevenir, tot esperant sempre que es donin les millors correspondències per l’òptima qualitat de les relacions i de la navegació. És a dir, a través del flux en la navegació tradicional i la seva xarxa de correspondències, els participants en aquestes experiències entendran la vida principalment com un conjunt de relacions en moviment.

In this article we will consider the link between the work of Erich Seligmann Fromm (1900–1980) and the educational relationship. Fromm contributed a fundamental humanist perspective to contemporary thought and his work was characterized by weaving together various cultural influences, such as the Old Testament, Buddhism, Marxism, Sociology and, of course, Psychoanalysis. The main objective of the present work is to specify how this relationship could be better understood, considering its main characteristics. The work of this emblematic author invites to reflect on various aspects related to education ranging from its concept, its purposes, as well as to different characteristics of a good educational relationship, a subject that we will address in this article. Fromm brings a singular and extremely interesting perspective that opens spaces for reflection from various aspects of human existence in his texts. In this study we have analyzed twelve of his books ranging from Escape from Freedom (1941), The art of loving (1956) or The art of listening (1995). This analysis has allowed selecting those contents linked with the educational relationship. Then we will focus on what Fromm understands by education and after specify what would be the most essential questions in an optimal educational relationship, and what should characterize it. En este artículo consideraremos el vínculo entre la obra de Erich Seligmann Fromm (1900–1980) y la relación educativa. Fromm aportó una perspectiva humanista fundamental al pensamiento contemporáneo y su obra se caracterizó por hilvanar variadas influencias culturales, tales como el Antiguo Testamento, el Budismo, el Marxismo, la Sociología y, desde luego, el Psicoanálisis. El objetivo principal del presente trabajo es el de comprender mejor esta relación, considerando sus características principales. La obra de este emblemático autor invita a reflexionar sobre aspectos diversos relacionados con la educación que van desde su concepto, sus finalidades, así como diferentes características de una buena relación educativa, temática que abordaremos en este artículo. Fromm aporta una perspectiva singular y sumamente interesante que abre espacios de reflexión a partir de variados aspectos sobre la existencia humana en sus textos. En este estudio hemos analizado doce de sus obras que van desde El miedo a la libertad (1941), El arte de amar (1956) o El arte de escuchar (1995). Este análisis ha permitido seleccionar aquellos contenidos vinculados a la relación educativa. Así consideraremos lo que Fromm entiende por educación, para posteriormente concretar cuáles serían las cuestiones más esenciales en una óptima relación educativa y qué la debe caracterizar./n

There has recently been increased interest in the potential for formal and informal networks to aid interventions with biologic families in helping them achieve reunification in the context of the child protection system. When group support is provided to families, the creation of a network of social support seems to be a consequence. The article analyzes the conceptualization of social support in order to create social support networks and the benefits on the intervention with families in the framework of the child protection system through a systematic review. From a wide search 4348 documents, finally 14 articles were included in the reviews. Results show that social support is considered a process by which social resources are provided from formal (professional services and programs associated with those services in any off the protection, health of educational systems) and informal (extended family, friends, neighbors and acquaintances) networks, allowing the families to confront daily moments as well as in crisis situations. This social support is related to emotional, psychological, physical, instrumental, material and information support that allow families to face their difficulties. Formal and informal networks of child protection systems contribute to social support, resilience, consolidation of learning and the assistance of families to social intervention programs.

[cat] La tesi doctoral L’educació moral a l’escola bressol ha investigat l’educació moral i en valors a l’etapa educativa de zero a tres anys a l’escola bressol. La idea parteix de les següents preguntes de recerca: quin és l’origen de la moralitat?, com es realitza l’educació en valors a la primera infància? i com es vincula l’origen de la moralitat amb l’educació en valors i la cultura?. Per concretar-ho, ens proposem dos objectius generals que es concreten en dues parts diferenciades. El primer objectiu pretén descriure els dinamismes morals que es viuen en el dia a dia d’una classe de nens i nenes de dos a tres anys a l’escola bressol. D’altra banda, el segon objectiu de recerca es planteja descriure i analitzar les primeres conductes morals espontànies que manifesten els infants de dos a tres anys, i de quina manera es porta a terme la regulació educativa que realitzen les educadores a l’escola bressol. La recerca s’ha realitzat a partir d’un treball etnogràfic d’observació d’una classe d’infants de dos a tres anys a l’Escola Bressol Municipal El Petit Príncep de Barcelona, durant el període d’un any i mig. L’etnografia ens va permetre observar la realitat educativa i captar la vida diària d’una escola bressol, que es va focalitzar en la primera part de la recerca a partir de l’estructura embut i que es va centrar en un dels aspectes que va sorgir com a destacable. La primera part de la recerca presenta una descripció narrativa del dia a dia d’una classe d’infants d’entre dos i tres anys, realitzada amb la intenció de conèixer de manera global l’educació en valors en una escola bressol. Aquest escrit narratiu ens va possibilitar identificar i sistematitzar vuit pràctiques educatives que s’activen en el dia a dia, algunes de les quals són la vida quotidiana, els tallers formatius o les activitats de pati, entre d’altres. Aquestes pràctiques educatives proporcionen als infants la possibilitat de viure sis tipologies d’experiències sociomorals: l’adquisició de normes, la relació amb la mestra o els valors de consens són alguns exemples de les experiències que es viuen en el si de les pràctiques educatives. En la segona part s’estudia la relació entre iguals com una experiència sociomoral que impregna totes les pràctiques educatives i es converteix en l’espai principal d’educació moral dels infants. Aquest procediment ens va permetre anar d’una visió general de l’educació en valors en la primera infància a una aproximació detallada de les relacions interpersonals entre iguals entès com el nucli de la moralitat humana. Els resultats que es porten aquesta segona part són: definir què és un encontre moral entre iguals, identificar- ne la tipologia (cura, justícia i cooperació) i, finalment, establir el model de regulació educativa que apliquen les educadores per intervenir en les situacions de conflicte moral. En síntesi, una recerca que aporta una visió general de l’educació en valors en una escola bressol i, posteriorment, un estudi aprofundit dels encontres morals entre iguals., [eng] This doctoral thesis is a research upon moral education and values at educational stage from zero to three year-old at nursery school. It is inspired by the following questions for research: Which is the origin of morality? How is achieved education in values in early childhood? And how is the origin of morality linked to education in values and culture? In order to specify it we propose two general objectives stated in two different parts. The first purpose pretends to describe the moral dynamics lived at nursery school in a classroom of two to three year-old small girls and boys. On the other hand, the second purpose of research is the description and analysis of first spontaneous moral behaviours of infants aged two to three years and the way educators carry out the educational regulation at nursery school. The research has been based on an ethnographic observation worked out throughout one year and a half in a classroom at the Municipal Nursery School El Petit Príncep in Barcelona. The ethnography allowed us to observe the educational reality and daily life of a nursery school. From the “funnel structure”, we focused the first part of the research on one of the most remarkable aspect. First part of the research presents a narrative description of the daily life of a classroom of two to three year-old infants, realised intentionally in order to know globally moral education at nursery school. This narrative account enabled us to identify and systematize eight daily educational practices, day to day life, formative workshops and playtime activities, among other ones. These educational practices give to the children the possibility to live six kinds of sociomoral experiences: the acquisition of rules, the relationship with their teacher or consensus values, are examples of experiences lived in the bossom of educational practices. The second part of the research is a study of the peer relationship as a sociomoral experience which impregnates the whole educational practices and is converted into the main space of moral education for infants. This procedure allowed us to go from a general vision of education of values in early childhood to a detailed approach of interpersonal peer relationships as the core of human morality. The results of this second part are: to define what is moral peer encounter, to identify its typology (cure, justice and cooperation) and finally to establish a model of educational regulation applied by educators when they have to mediate in situations of moral conflict. As a synthesis, it is a research which brings a global vision of what are education and values at a nursery school and also an in-depth study of the moral peer encounters.

This paper introduces Intimate Entanglements by proposing three interrelated shifts that result from juxtaposing experiences with different world-making practices at the intersection of care, technoscience and theoretical engagements with affect theory and science and technology studies (STS). The first shift positions intimacy as not only relevant in STS but also as a more general epistemic concern of social scientific enquiry. The second shift is an exploration of the heterogeneous materiality of the intimate and, in particular, of its more-than-human constituencies. The third shift both reclaims and speculates about other politics of relations, including practical challenges (not only conceptual) to the way we do research. The paper shows that the beings entangled, the materialities involved, the affects conveyed and the extension of the intimate all come to matter when science and technology is critically analysed, and that they challenge the traditional limits and geographies of the intimate. It also argues that this has important political implications for science and technology, because it counters the invisibilisation of affect and all the “intimate work” usually associated with the emotional, domestic, and even infrastructural, and contests the ready-made framing of the intimate as naturally bound to the interpersonal, corporal and private, which the authors argue is a way to make visible the politics of relations that scientific and technological settings silently enact.

[spa] En las sociedades de capitalismo avanzado, el estallido de la crisis de 2008 supuso la agudización y manifestación de las dinámicas de exclusión social que se venían produciendo desde el fin de la era industrial y el abandono del paradigma fordista-keynesiano. En España, concretamente, las transformaciones vividas en la esfera de la economía (desindustrialización, financiarización y avance del sector servicios) el trabajo (segmentación del mercado, precarización laboral, desempleo de larga duración), el Estado (subsidiarización de los sistemas de bienestar) y en las estructuras demográfica (fenómenos migratorios masivos) y cultural (cambio en las pautas familiares y en los estilos de vida) habían sentado las bases para una sociedad más fragmentada y desigual, con nuevas vulnerabilidades emergiendo entre capas de población hasta entonces perfectamente integradas. En este escenario, la presente investigación sostiene que la “metamorfosis de la cuestión social” ha conducido a la aparición de un nuevo “doble movimiento”, en términos de Polanyi, en tanto que la ciudadanía se ha visto empujada a buscar nuevas formas de organizarse ante la evolución de los riesgos sociales y el deterioro de los mecanismos de protección e integración social asociados a las instituciones de la primera modernidad (Estado, familia y comunidad tradicional). En base al trabajo de campo realizado entre 2014 y 2016, y que abarcaría a un conjunto de 12 iniciativas ciudadanas, en las ciudades de Madrid y Barcelona, esta obra concluye que la principal contribución de la ciudadanía madrileña y barcelonesa en la búsqueda de soluciones ante las nuevas dinámicas de exclusión social, durante la crisis de 2008, ha sido la creación de nuevas formas de “vinculación seguras” que han satisfecho, en mayor o menor medida, la creciente necesidad de protección y reconocimiento de la población movilizada. El hecho de que la participación ciudadana se haya visto atravesada por una praxis política más pragmática que ideológica, a raíz de las movilizaciones del 15M y de las consignas del movimiento antiglobalización de la década anterior, ha permitido aglutinar una fuerza social más diversa, en la que las nuevas vulnerabilidades se han encontrado con las viejas marginalidades, dando lugar a nuevas formas de comunidad inclusivas. Las iniciativas estudiadas, sea cual fuere el ámbito de acción y su voluntad de afectar o no a la Institución, han tenido como base elemental, a la hora de organizarse, una estrategia de apoyo mutuo basada en el cultivo de la empatía, la tolerancia y la solidaridad, lo cual ha permitido generar nuevos espacios de socialización segura, invirtiendo las dinámicas de descualificación y desafiliación social asociadas a las dinámicas de exclusión. Esta es la base que reivindican los propios colectivos ciudadanos en su papel como impulsores de procesos de democratización política y “familiarización” de la vida pública. Una solución real a las dinámicas de exclusión social, en ámbitos como el trabajo o en recursos básicos como la salud o la energía está lejos del alcance de la ciudadanía, razón por la cual, ésta actúa un agente de presión ante las instituciones o un espacio de experimentación con nuevas prácticas de organización a escala comunitaria. En este proceso, la ciudadanía está transformando los escenarios de reproducción social; ya sea a escala informal, generando cambios en las formas de socialización a escala vecinal o comunitaria; o a nivel institucional, recomponiendo los mecanismos de protección e integración social con nuevos dispositivos que mejoran el alcance y la adaptabilidad de los sistemas de bienestar social ante los nuevos riesgos., [eng] During the crisis of 2008, the citizenship of Madrid and Barcelona have faced the intensification of several social exclusion dynamics. In this context, the following research explores the apparition, development and consolidation of social innovative initiatives that, in a bottom-up way, seek to find new forms of social organization in order to face the new social risks in areas such as employment, basic needs and political participation. Following an empirical fieldwork, with several in-depth interviews and direct observations, the thesis concludes that, in this stage, the greatest achievement of the citizenship has been to build up new kinds of communities, based in safe social ties. That is a way of relating each other, based in solidarity, mutual support and empathy, which allows the individuals to be part of the group, maintaining their own singularities. Thanks to that, the citizens have been able to provide support to those affected by social exclusion dynamics, in material, political and mostly relational terms. This way, the citizenship has been crucial in confronting the crisis, sometimes playing the traditional role of the family and the State, as these institutions are losing their ability to answer to the needs of social protection and recognition. As a consequence, In spite of the positives attributes of this “double movement” in the process of social change in terms of socialization and social bonding, the crisis of the family and the State, as we know them, let the citizenship in front of a social scenario too big and complex to be faced on his own. If anything, this shows the importance of the citizenship participation to complement the work of others social institutions as the State or the family to reverse the social exclusion dynamics and the increasing fragmentation of our societies.

Desde aquí decidí realizar este trabajo. Siempre se ha prefijado la idea de que la mujer andalusí tiende a quedarse en el ámbito privado. Al introducir el concepto de la libertad femenina dentro de nuestra investigación nos hace ver que estas mujeres tienen una gran presencia e importancia social, ya que participaban activamente en los espacios públicos y privados. Al ejercer su libertad femenina y las relaciones de affidamento la mujer también configura la historia de al-Ándalus., [eng] Little by little, the currents of feminist thought are opening the way towards a way of understanding the world from the point of view of femininity. From here I decided to do this job. The idea that Andalusian women tend to stay in the private sphere has always been prefixed. By introducing the concept of female freedom into our research, it makes us see that these women have a great presence and social importance, since they actively participated in public and private spaces. By exercising her feminine freedom and affidament relations, women also configure the history of al-Andalus.

Resumen: El propósito de esta investigación es analizar los diferentes estilos de resolución de conflictos presentes en escolares adolescentes de España y ver si existen diferencias significativas entre varones y mujeres, teniendo en cuenta además el tipo de centro al que asisten (mixto o diferenciado por sexo). Para ello se definió una muestra de 816 alumnos, de 12 escuelas españolas, a la que se aplicó un cuestionario basado en el Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI), adaptado y validado para adolescentes. Los resultados confirman diferencias entre sexos, ya identificadas en otras investigaciones, y para ambos sexos, en la escuela diferenciada aparecen puntajes más altos en el estilo colaborador respecto de los estudiantes varones y mujeres que asisten a una escuela mixta. Para los demás estilos de resolución de conflictos no se encontraron diferencias significativas Abstract: The purpose of this research is to analyze the different styles of conflict resolution found in adolescent students in Spain and to see if there are significant differences between men and women, also taking into account the type of center they attend (mixed or differentiated by sex). For this purpose, a sample of 816 students from 12 Spanish schools was defined and a questionnaire based on the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI), adapted and validated for adolescents, was applied. The results confirm differences between sexes, already identified in other investigations, and for both sexes, in the differentiated school, higher scores appear in the collaborative style in comparison with male and female students attending a mixed school. This paper sets out the service users' life histories and the frontline providers' practice findings -récit de pratique- who have participated in the Housing First pilot project implemented in Barcelona under the name of Primer la Llar (2015-2018). This new method of working is carried out in house. For this analysis, we focus on accompaniment in the home. Establishing a professional relationship, accompanying service users to autonomy and recovery has specific features, especially locating in the home. There, we observe the intersection of both the domestic sphere and the work sphere. Focusing on the first 24 months, we analyze how two feelings emerge horizontality; the sense of controlling someone and being controlled by others, and feeling the house as one's own. The results show how building an ethical relationship seems to be the key to facilitating an accompaniment according to the Housing First philosophy.

També busco resoldre el conflicte en l’àmbit expositiu i desenvolupar quelcom que expressi i generi una reacció en l’espectador. Hi ha un projecte personal de recerca a nivell gràfic: el tractament de les textures, la taca, l’ombra, els ritmes, la composició, la llum... Donar forma a tots aquests coneixements que he anat adquirint al llarg de la carrera en una sèrie de tres peces, amb el pretext de la parella, amb el qual puc treballar la composició de dos elements i la introspecció en la intimitat d’aquests subjectes., [eng] This project is developed in the field of drawing, I have researched the problems in my artworks’ composition, analysing the representation of love in contemporary drawing. Additionally, I will resolve the issues that arise at the expositional level, developing expressive pieces of art, intended to provoke a reaction amongst the public. This project features extensive research into graphic design: the treatment of textures, stains, shadows, rhythms, composition and lighting. I aim to apply the knowledge I acquired throughout my career, giving shape to a set of three artworks, revolving around couples and seeking to portray the beauty of intimacy between lovers.

Investigaciones recientes relacionan la superación de las relaciones triangulares con el apego seguro. El objetivo de este estudio es presentar el diseño y validación de un Registro de Evaluación de las Relaciones Triangulares (RERT) a través del test proyectivo Pata Negra o Patte Noire (P.N.) de Corman, a partir de una muestra de 100 participantes con edades comprendidas entre 5 y 18 años. Para verificar la validez de contenido, las respuestas fueron clasificadas en base a 28 ítems, agrupados en cuatro categorías de repuesta y sometidas a un acuerdo interjueces. Los porcentajes de acuerdo interjueces alcanzaron una validez tolerable (60-80) para una de las categorías y una validez satisfactoria (80-100) para el resto de categorías aceptadas. Los valores del coeficiente del alfa de Cronbach fueron, en general, entre .56 y .74. Los resultados muestran que el RERT posee propiedades psicométricas adecuadas que lo convierten en una herramienta apropiada para evaluar las relaciones triangulares de un modo cuantitativo y complementario al análisis cualitativo del test Pata Negra, lo que añade objetividad y fiabilidad al test.

Sustainability is becoming increasingly important for society, and the creation of business ventures is one area where sustainability is critical. We examined the factors affecting actions that are designed to foster business sustainability. These factors are related to the environment, behavior, human relations, and business activity. Based on questionnaire responses from experts, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method was used to rank sustainable business criteria according to their importance for entrepreneurs starting sustainable businesses. The results indicate that the most important drivers of sustainable entrepreneurship are behavioral factors and business factors. Ethical principles and values, together with competitive intelligence, are crucial for undertaking actions that lead to sustainability. In order to find out the influence of Korean Middle School Students' relationship by science class applying STAD collaborative learning, this study conducted a social network analysis and sought to analyze the communication networks within the group and identified the change process of the type. The subject of this study was 30 students of the second grade at the girls' middle school located in Korea's Metropolitan City. For five weeks, science class applying STAD Collaborative Learning was implemented in the ‘reproduction and generation’ chapter. First, the class social network analysis showed that all the prices of density, degree centrality, closeness centrality, and betweenness centrality have risen after science class applying STAD Collaborative Learning. Also, the classroom's relationship index has improved. In other words, STAD Collaborative Learning encouraged interaction among students. Second, in order to research popularity, students' centrality analysis through the class social network analysis showed that top-ranked students' values of density, degree centrality, closeness centrality, and betweenness centrality appeared commonly high after science class applying STAD Collaborative Learning. Third, the analysis of the communication network change within six groups showed that all channel type appeared most often and circle type also appeared anew after science class applying STAD Collaborative Learning. In other words, it was possible to exchange information freely and communicate with all members of the group through STAD Collaborative Learning.

Tradicionalmente, el estudio del envejecimiento ha focalizado su atención sobre los factores patológicos que aceleran el declive físico y psicológico de las personas que representan la “tercera edad”, provocando una escisión entre el estudio de la cognición y la emoción en personas mayores. Es necesario tener en cuenta que los mecanismos de regulación emocional son considerados como “intentos que realizan las personas para modificar un estado emocional, alterando alguno de los factores que anteceden a la emoción (por ejemplo, selección de situaciones), o modificando algún componente de la emoción en sí misma, tienen una influencia fundamental sobre el bienestar subjetivo y la salud física” (Gross y John, 2003).

Aquests canvis també depenen dels nostres propis processos interns, de desitjos i perspectives. Tot fluctua, i ens hem d’adaptar. El canvi, el fluir, són propis de la nostra realitat. La precarietat laboral converteix el lloc de treball en un seguit de contractes temporals que dificulten crear un àmbit laboral conegut, marxar a estudiar o a treballar a fora és una pràctica molt comuna sota la bandera de la competitivitat i les oportunitats que això depara i les tecnologies com les xarxes socials i el whatsapp ens connecten, ens relacionen però eliminen la part física d’aquestes relacions, la presència de l’altre. En el meu treball experimento amb la combinació i la temporalitat de les meves relacions més pròximes. Faig aparèixer i desaparèixer els cossos, creant situacions irreals, impossibles, o vist des d’un altre punt de vista , creant possibilitats de relacions, ja que les que realment existeixen potser d’aquí un temps no hi seran, així que les que creo gràficament aleatòriament, podrien ser certes en un futur., [eng] Relationships between people are complex and temporary, their intensity changes along time. New people appear, we lose others, as it also changes what we need and what we can give. These changes depend upon our own inner processes, desires and perspectives. Everything fluctuates, and we need to adapt. Change, flux, liquid state, befits our reality. Work inestability turns workplace into a series of temporary contracts that make difficult to create a known workplace. Migrating to study or work abroad is a very common practice, in the sense of competitivity and the oportunities it means. Social media and whatsapp keep us connected, they keep us in touch but they erase the phisical part of these relationships, the presence of the other one. In my thesis I experiment with the combination and temporarity of my closest relationships. I make bodies appear and dissapear, creating possible relationships, due to the fact the ones that really exist maybe they won’t exist later in time, so the ones that I graphycally create randomly, could become true in the future.

Curs: 2015/2016 En el presente trabajo se muestran los resultados de un estudio empírico realizado en cuatro centros de la provincia de Castellón a alumnos de edades comprendidas entre los 9 y 12 años. La muestra está comprendida en un total de 544 niños y niñas de los cuales, 239 son niñas y 305 niños de los cursos cuarto y quinto de primaria. En él, se han evaluado las conductas sociales y reputación social junto con la inteligencia emocional. Para el estudio de la reputación social se utilizó la escala de evaluación de conductas y reputación social Peer Rating creada por el equipo de investigación GREI y para el análisis de la inteligencia emocional se llevó a cabo el pase de la prueba Emotional Intilligence Inventory Youth version de Reuven Bar-On. Así pues, los resultados demuestran que el género afecta en las conductas de prosocialidad y timidez a favor del género femenino y a conductas de agresión para el género masculino. Y que los niños y niñas más mayores tienden a tener menos inteligencia emocional. Por lo que respecta a las facetas de inteligencia emocional que afectan a las conductas de prosocialidad con la inteligencia interpersonal, el manejo del estrés, la adaptabilidad y el estado de ánimo. Las que afectan a la timidez son de forma negativa la inteligencia intrapersonal, la adaptabilidad y el estado de ánimo y de forma positiva el manejo del estrés. En las conductas de agresión de forma negativa la inteligencia interpersonal, el manejo del estrés y el estado de ánimo, y para el aislamiento de forma negativa las inteligencias intra e interpersonal, la adaptabilidad y el estado de ánimo. This work shows the results of an empirical study carried out in four schools in the province of Castellon among students from fourth and fifth of primary who are 9 and 12 years old. The sample has a total of 544 children from which 239 are girls and 305 are boys. In this study the social behaviours and the social reputation along with the emotional intelligence are evaluated. For the social reputation study, a scale called Peer Rating for evaluating the social behaviours and the social reputation was used. It was created by the search team GREI. On the other hand, for the emotional intelligence analysis was taken the version of Reuven Bar-On of the test Emotional Intelligence Inventory Youth. Hence, the obtained results prove that gender affects the pro-sociality and shyness behaviours in favour of the female sex and it affects the aggression behaviours regarding the male sex. Older boys and girls tend to have lower emotional intelligence. The aspects of the emotional intelligence affect pro-sociality behaviour with the interpersonal intelligence, stress management, adaptability and mood. The ones which affect shyness in a negative way are the intrapersonal intelligence, adaptability and mood and the stress management is affected positively. Moving to the aggression behaviours it affects negatively the interpersonal intelligence, the stress management and mood. Isolation imapcts in a negative way the intra and interpersonal intelligences, the adaptability and mood.

Una forma de (re)conocerse a uno mismo y a todo aquello que le envuelve a través de sus relaciones. La propuesta pretende establecer un diálogo entre la materia y el espacio, entre el ser y su entorno. Una mirada de atención hacia las pequeñas cosas, lo efímero y lo orgánico con una clara intención de recuperar el equilibrio con la naturaleza, el cual se está perdiendo a raíz de la gran crisis humanitaria que estamos sufriendo actualmente., [eng] Starting from a respectful attitude and from (re)conciliation with the environment, Comprendiendo la vida is an artistic process in continuous evolution which tries to understand the nature of life and everything that it contains. It is a way to recognize oneself and everything that surrounds them through their relationships. The project seeks to establish a dialogue between matter and space, between beings and their environment. It is a careful look at little things, both ephemeral and organic,with a clear intention to recover balance with nature which is being lost as a result of the great humanitarian crisis that we are currently suffering.

La infidelitat és un fenomen comú en la parella actual monògama. Tot i així, és fortament penada socialment per la transgressió que suposa sobre les normes acceptades en comunitat. El cinema universal en l'actualitat, com a mitjà de comunicació transmissor i influent de conductes socials, conté alguns elements discursius homogenis vers la infidelitat. És un discurs que relativitza la responsabilitat de l'infidel i subratlla el canvi històric de rols de gènere en la parella, l'omnipresència de la sexualitat en les relacions interpersonals i la doble moral amb la que es castiga la infidelitat segons el grau de proximitat. La infidelidad es un fenómeno común en la pareja actual monógama. Aún así, está fuertemente penada socialmente por la transgresión que supone sobre las normas aceptadas en comunidad. El cine universal en la actualidad, como medio de comunicación transmisor e influyente de conductas sociales, contiene algunos elementos discursivos homogéneos alrededor de la infidelidad. Es un discurso que relativiza la responsabilidad del infiel y subraya el cambio histórico de roles de género en la pareja, la omnipresencia de la sexualidad en las relaciones interpersonales y la doble moral con la que se castiga a la infidelidad según el grado de proximidad. Infidelity is a common phenomenon in today's monogamous couple. Still, it is strongly socially punished for transgressing the accepted community standards. The universal movie content, as a media capable of transmit and influence social behaviour, contains some homogeneous discursive elements around infidelity. That discourse downplays the responsibility of the infidel and underlines the historical change of gender roles in the couple, the omnipresence of sexuality in interpersonal relationships and the double standards in punishing infidelity focused on proximity with the infidel behaviour.

Les persones, a la recerca d'identitat personal, s'identifiquen amb el cos, l’activitat mental, les emocions, sentiments, creences, etc., portant a percebre totes aquelles situacions o esdeveniments que ocorrin d'una manera personal. Així mateix, aquesta mena de percepció generarà un judici del fenomen succeït en base a un jo central, segons el qual el que ha passat serà positiu i, per tant, augmentarà l'autoestima i confiança del subjecte o negatiu, minant ambdós factors. Gràcies al mindfulness, s'ha descobert recentment, que es pot arribar a una manera d'actuació i percepció distant d'aquesta plètora de resultats o avaluacions interpersonals, i mitjançant el qual es veuen facilitades i reforçades capacitats com la resiliència, la humilitat, la confiança i l'amabilitat. El valuós canvi d'una forma de percepció a l'altra rau a la transcendència de l'ego, en la transcendència de la necessitat d'identificar-nos amb tot allò transitori que passi en la nostra vida, i poder retornar a la Consciència.

Rere les nostres accions sempre hi ha un motiu, o si més no això és el que ens agrada pensar. Per exemple, quan ajudem una persona, ¿ho fem per generositat empàtica o perquè esperem que algun dia ens ho retorni com a reciprocitat social? A vegades no ho sabem o no en som conscients ni nosaltres mateixos, però resulta que el cervell ho distingeix ben clarament. Un equip de recerca format per investigadors suïssos, japonesos i coreans ha desenvolupat una tècnica que permet distingir els motius subjacents a alguns dels nostres comportaments, concretament els que qualifiquem genèricament d'altruistes. El cervell humà continua sent un gran desconegut, però poc a poc anem descobrint els seus secrets. I n'hi ha que fan meditar sobre el significat de la mateixa condició humana. Universitat de Barcelona, Curs: 2015-16, Tutor: Montse Carreño, [spa] Lo que me hace hombre es un proyecto que consiste en un análisis del manga yaoi a través de la apropiación de material de cómics y foros online y su posterior reelaboración, que lleva a la articulación de un nuevo relato. Este proceso se materializa en una serie de tres tomos y tres posters vinculados a cada uno de éstos. El análisis está basado en los argumentos defendidos en el Debate del Yaoi, y plantea una respuesta a estas opiniones tratando de demostrar su validez o de refutarlas a través de la información encontrada en los cómics y en los foros. Las cuestiones que se tratan en este proyecto, todas ellas estrechamente relacionadas con el yaoi, son el embellecimiento y naturalización de la violencia en la pareja, la influencia de la ficción en la vida real, la representación estereotipada de la pareja homosexual, la homofobia implícita en muchos mangas yaoi y la apropiación y despolitización de la identidad homosexual masculina. El uso de la apropiación y la postproducción como metodología se debe a su coherencia con el tipo de material analizado, puesto que el yaoi es un género con una importante tradición apropiacionista., [eng] Lo que me hace hombre (What makes me a man) is a project which consists in an analysis of yaoi manga through the appropriation of material found in comics and online forums and its subsequent reworking, generating a new narrative. This process results in three volumes and three posters related to each one of them. This analysis is based on the arguments stated in the Yaoi Debate, and it raises an answer to these opinions, trying to prove them right or to refute them using the information found in the already metioned resources. The issues addressed in this project, all of them closely related to yaoi, are the embellishment and naturalization of couple violence, the influence of fiction in real live, the stereotypical representation of male homosexual couples, the homophobia implicit in lots of yaoi manga and the appropriation and depoliticization of male homosexual identity. The use of appropriation and post-production as a methodology is due to its coherence with the kind of material being analysed, for yaoi is a genre with a significant appropriationist tradition.

Treball teòric-aplicat. L'objectiu d'aquest treball és demostrar que l'ordre en el qual s'efectuen les interaccions entre parelles d'individus és un factor rellevant a l'hora d'explicar els resultats agregats d'un procés de pagaments mitjançant taquilla inversa. Metodològicament s'ha emprat l'enquesta per a recollir preferències individuals, simulació per estudiar ordenacions diverses i anàlisi estadística dels resultat, que mostra que la presència d'interacció entre individus incrementa els pagaments en relació a les preferències inicials dels individus en gairebé la totalitat de casos simulats. Més enllà de l'existència del fenomen, aquest estudi és una primera aproximació al tema, i el resultats obtinguts manquen d'una explicació formal.

[eng] INTRODUCTION: There is conflicting evidence regarding the role of social support networks in health and wellbeing and more research is needed to address the lack of information. The objective of this project is to categorize key indicators of social support and social networks, and further to determine the impact of such indicators on mental disorder and mortality. METHODS: This project will include three research articles: paper I is a review of the literature which involves an investigation into the evidence on associations between social support networks and depression in the general population (systematic literature review). Paper II is an original research paper that involves an examination of how social network integration predicts all-cause mortality among older adults in six Latin-American countries, India, and China (prospective analysis). Finally, paper III is an original research paper involving an investigation into relationship quality (positive and negative aspects of social support) and social networks with depression, anxiety and suicidal ideation in a nationally representative sample of older Irish adults in intimate relationships (cross-sectional analysis). RESULTS: I) A number of key indicators of social support and social networks were identified to be associated with depression. Generally, studies have found protective effects of perceived social support and large, diverse social networks against depression in the general population. II) For older adults in developing countries, survival time is significantly reduced in individuals embedded in restricted social networks. III) For older Irish adults in intimate relationships, we found that worse relationship quality with the spouse is positively associated with depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation, and that restricted social network integration is positively associated with depression. CONCLUSION: A number of recommendations have been made for future research in order to make a more comprehensive assessment of the role of social support networks in relation to mental health outcomes. Further, being embedded in good social support networks is negatively associated with mortality and also a number of outcomes on mental disorder among older adults in the general population. Social care and public mental health interventions may be enhanced by tailoring interventions to improve the quantity and quality of social support networks in order to promote population mental health and health status. Implications for health research, policy and future directions, [spa] INTRODUCCIÓN: Hay pruebas contradictorias sobre el rol de las relaciones sociales en la salud y el bienestar y es necesaria más investigación para hacer frente a la falta de información. El objetivo de este proyecto es categorizar los indicadores clave identificados en relación con la salud y el bienestar, y determinar el impacto de este tipo de indicadores en la salud mental y mortalidad. MÉTODOS: Este proyecto incluirá tres artículos de investigación: El artículo I es una revisión de la literatura que investiga la evidencia sobre asociaciones entre las relaciones sociales y la depresión en la población general. El artículo II es un trabajo de investigación original con el objetivo de examinar cómo el tipo de red social identificada al inicio del estudio predice la mortalidad entre los adultos mayores en los países en desarrollo. El artículo III es un trabajo de investigación original que consiste en la investigación de las asociaciones de las interacciones sociales positivas y negativas y las redes sociales con la depresión, la ansiedad y la ideación suicida entre los adultos mayores irlandeses con una relación sentimental. RESULTADOS: I) Se identificaron asociaciones entre la depresión y un número de indicadores claves de apoyo social y redes sociales. En general, los estudios encontraron que el apoyo social percibido y tener redes sociales grandes y diversas tenían efectos protectores sobre la depresión en la población general. II) Para adultos mayores procedentes de países en vías desarrollo, el tiempo de supervivencia se reduce significativamente en individuos con redes sociales limitadas. III) En una muestra irlandesa de adultos mayores con una relación sentimental, encontramos que una peor calidad de la relación con la pareja se relacionaba positivamente con depresión, ansiedad e ideación suicida, y que redes sociales limitadas se asociaban positivamente con depresión. CONCLUSIÓN: Se hacen una serie de recomendaciones para hacer una evaluación más completa sobre el papel de las redes sociales de apoyo en relación con la salud mental en el futuro. Además, estar incluido en relaciones sociales de apoyo de calidad se asocia negativamente con mortalidad y con trastornos mentales entre los adultos mayores en la población general. La asistencia social y las intervenciones de salud mental pública podrían ser mejoradas mediante la adaptación de las intervenciones para aumentar la cantidad y calidad de las redes de apoyo social con el fin de promover la salud mental y el estado de salud general de la población. Se discuten las implicaciones para la investigación en salud, las políticas sanitarias y sociales, y direcciones futuras.

Postgrau en Educació Emocional i Benestar, Facultat de Pedagogia, Departament de Mètodes d’Investigació i Diagnòstic en Educació, Universitat de Barcelona, curs: 2009-2010, Tutor/Tutora: ?, El present projecte revisa aquells aspectes comunicatius i de relacions interpersonals que tenen connexió amb el bagatge cultural que cada u posseeix. Es tracten les diferències culturals, des d'el punt de vista personal i individual, però amb el reconeixement de que hi ha característiques culturals que distingeixen als grups; i tenint en compte també que aquests trets són cada vegada més diversos i variats, difícils de definir en un únic concepte tancat. El projecte es divideix en tres parts: un marc teòric on es revisen els conceptes centrals, una part pràctica basada en entrevistes i les conclusions finals on s'analitza allò extret a les entrevistes des del que proposa l'Educació Emocional.

Aquest document és un recull de situacions viscudes en l’àmbit clínic-assistencial, narrades en molts casos en primera persona, que fan referencia a algun dels principals estils de comunicació interpersonal: assertiu, passiu i/o agressiu. El material que es presenta està subjecte a diferents tipus d’anàlisis. Es pot donar el cas de que algunes situacions exposades puguin ser interpretades en un sentit diferent al objectiu inicial del autor. En qualsevol cas, el valor central és disposar de exemples aplicats per generar debat i anàlisis de estils de comunicació / relació interpersonal. Explicar situacions personals no es fàcil. Cal entendre aquest treball com una aportació “generosa” dels autors. Per tant, tots aquells que utilitzin algun material d’aquesta publicació han de partir de la base de que és un exercici docent per utilitzar en el context i amb finalitat formativa. Les situacions han estat laborades pels estudiants de primer curs del Màster de Lideratge i Gestió d’ Infermeria de l’any acadèmic en curs. Cada situació configura un capítol i està estructurada en els següents apartats: estil de comunicació, descrpció de la situació, resolució de la situació i elements que identifiquen l’estil de comunicació (verbals i no verbals).

[spa] En los últimos años, la llegada masiva de población extranjera en edad escolar a Cataluña ha incrementado la diversidad cultural en las aulas. Partiendo de la importancia de los amigos, esta investigación explora las relaciones de amistad que establecen los adolescentes cuando interactúan con adolescentes de otras culturas y con la cultura mayoritaria. En específico, el estudio focaliza las amistades de los adolescentes de origen inmigrante que establecen relaciones de amistad diádica en el contexto de la escuela. Los participantes fueron estudiantes de seis institutos de Educación Segundaria de Barcelona y Girona; del total de la muestra (N=681) se identificaron 398 diadas de amigos; de ellas, 276 Co-étnicas y 122 Inter-étnicas. En primer lugar se realizó a una indagación de corte cuantitativo que pretendía analizar las similitudes y diferencias de amistades diádicas Co-étnicas e Inter-étnicas respecto de variables sociodemográficas y psicosociales. Para ello, se aplicaron cuatro cuestionarios: uno sociodemográfico que indagó aspectos personales de los adolescentes; uno sociométrico que permitió conocer la composición étnica de las diadas de amigos; el Cuestionario de calidad de la amistad (Bukowski, Boivin & Hoza, 1994), que evaluó la calidad y el conflicto de los adolescentes con sus mejores amigos y el Cuestionario sobre apoyo académico percibido (Fulgini, 1997), que mostró el grado en que los amigos se apoyan entre sí en la resolución de tareas escolares. Los resultados principales de este objetivo dan cuenta que, diadas Co-étnicas e Inter-étnicas son similares en sexo, edad, estatus socioeconómico y rendimiento académico. En cuanto a la calidad de la amistad, ambos tipos de diadas obtienen niveles más altos cuando utilizan la misma lengua para comunicarse en el hogar. Reportaron menor cantidad de conflictos las diadas conformadas por chicas autóctonas, apreciándose diferencias en el resto de las variables analizadas. En segundo lugar, se planteó un objetivo de corte cualitativo con la intención de profundizar en las similitudes y diferencias a partir de los significados otorgados a las relaciones de amistad en contextos educativos de diversidad cultural. Para ello, se aplicó una entrevista semiestructurada en profundidad en la que participaron 90 estudiantes, correspondientes a 45 diadas: de amigos Co-étnicos e Inter-étnicos. Los resultados, correspondientes a cinco dimensiones de análisis, evidenciaron que la historia de amistad de ambos tipos de diadas se inicia en el Instituto. En cuanto a los valores que consideraron más importantes dentro de una relación cercana, para diadas Co-étnicas sobresalieron la confianza y la compañía y para diadas Inter-étnicas, además de la confianza, se señaló la expectativa de ayuda. En los motivos de conflicto, los amigos de ambos tipos de diadas relataron que los conflictos ocurren por desacuerdos que generan sentimientos de enfado o tristeza y adicionalmente para Inter-étnicos, la falta de lealtad. Ambos tipos de diadas refirieron utilizar estrategias similares en la resolución de sus diferencias, primero hablar de lo sucedido para llegar a un acuerdo y esto en general les trae sensaciones de alivio, se sienten reconfortados por mantener su relación intacta y poder continuar disfrutando de la compañía de su amigo, aumentando la tranquilidad y el bienestar personal. Por último, diadas Co-étnicas e Inter-étnicas consideraron importante apoyarse académicamente en la realización de alguna actividad de clase o estudiar para una evaluación, apreciándose diferencias sutiles entre los relatos de ambos tipos de diadas. Nuestros resultados confirman que las amistades de buena calidad favorecen el desarrollo individual, social y académico del adolescente y ratifican la necesidad de promover espacios para la integración que permitan generar relaciones de amistad diádica en contextos educativos de diversidad cultural, como el de Cataluña., [eng] This research, based on the relevance of friends in schools, explores the friendships that teenagers establish when interacting with peers from other cultures and the dominant culture. Particularly, the study focuses on the dyadic friendships that foreign teenagers build in school contexts. The participants were students from six secondary education institutes in Barcelona and Girona. From the total sample (n=681), 398 friend dyads were identified. Within these, 276 were co-ethnic and 122 inter-ethnic. As a primary goal, a qualitative inquiry was conducted in order to analyse the differences and similarities amongst the co-ethnic and inter-ethnic dyads in relation to socio- demographic and psycho-social variables. As a means to obtain this information four questionnaires were applied; a socio-demographic questionnaire, socio-metric questionnaire, the Friendship Quality Scale and the questionnaire about perceived academic support. The main findings of this objective indicate that co-ethnic and inter- ethnic dyads are similar in gender, age, socio-economic status and academic performance. Regarding the quality of friendship, it was possible to observe that co-ethnic dyads and inter-ethnic dyads obtain high rates when the language they use to communicate is the same used in their homes. The second qualitative objective in this study was to further investigate the differences and similarities from the meanings given to friendship in culturally diverse educational contexts. Thus, a semi-structured interview was applied to 90 students corresponding to 45 co-ethnic and inter-ethnic dyads. The results showed that the friendship history of both types of dyads starts at the institute. In relation to the aspects they considered most important within a close relationship, the co-ethnic dyads highlighted trust and company, whereas the inter-ethnic dyads emphasized, besides trust, help expectation. According to both types of dyads, the most common reasons for conflict include disagreements which generate feelings of sadness or anger. Finally, despite subtle differences, the co and inter- ethnic dyads considered mutual support as highly relevant when doing academic activities). Our results confirm that high quality friendships foster teenagers’ academic, social and individual development. Also, they emphasize the need to promote opportunities for integration which allow students to generate dyadic friendships in culturally diverse educational contexts such as Catalonia.
