Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES Historical knowledge presents specificities that stimulate investigations about its nature and its function in society. Unlike the natural sciences, it is built on social interaction, over time and in defined spaces. Without this information, you run the risk of naturalizing it and emptying history of its explanatory and transformative potential. In this sense, the German thinker Jörn Rüsen (2001; 2006; 2015) proposes a Theory of History that locates this field of knowledge, explaining its particularities and the different dimensions in which it acts in reality. Through his investigations, the historian approached a group of thinkers linked to the so-called Historical Education, which emerged in the 1970s in Europe, and today operates in various countries of that continent and also America. This thesis starts from the presuppositions of this research line to understand the relations between the narratives about regionality present in the territory called Vale do Taquari, located in the center-east portion of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and the formation of the historical thinking of young people attending basic education in the thirty-six municipalities in this region. The fieldwork involved visiting schools in these administrative units, in which an interview was conducted with students of the 9th grade of elementary school, completing the first stage of basic education. In this process, each group of students was presented with a set of images corresponding to their municipality, followed by three questions about local and regional history. From this work, a total of 542 interviews were gathered, including young people from 13 to 18 years old, all enrolled and attending this stage of schooling. Starting from the references of Historical Education (Barca, 2001; Lee, 1994; Fronza, 2012; Cainelli, 2017; Cunha, 2017; Martins, 2017), a table was elaborated with categories corresponding to the historical ideas present in the narratives of these students: presentist, ethnocentric, multicultural and intercultural. From these empirical data, we sought to understand the relationship between the process of heritage patrimonialization triggered in the territory and the learning that these young people develop in school life, so that the limits and possibilities of curricular proposals in the interaction with the children are understood different influences on the formation of knowledge and historical consciousness of the subjects. O conhecimento histórico apresenta especificidades que estimulam investigações sobre a sua natureza e a sua função na sociedade. Diferentemente das ciências naturais, ele se constrói a partir da interação social, através do tempo e em espaços definidos. Sem estas informações, corre-se o risco de naturalizá-lo e esvaziar a História de seu potencial explicativo e transformativo. Neste sentido, o pensador alemão Jörn Rüsen (2001; 2006; 2015) propõe uma Teoria da História que situe este campo do conhecimento, explicitando as suas particularidades e as diferentes dimensões na qual ele atua na realidade. Através de suas investigações, o historiador se aproximou de um grupo de pensadores ligados à chamada Educação Histórica, que surgiu nos anos 1970, na Europa, e hoje atua em diversos países daquele continente e também da América. Esta tese parte dos pressupostos desta linha de investigação para compreender as relações entre as narrativas sobre a regionalidade presentes no território denominado Vale do Taquari, situado na porção centro-leste do estado do Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil, e a formação do pensamento histórico de jovens que frequentam a educação básica nos trinta e seis municípios que integram esta região. O trabalho de campo envolveu a visitação a escolas destas unidades administrativas, nas quais realizou-se uma entrevista com estudantes do 9º Ano do Ensino Fundamental, concluintes da primeira etapa da educação básica. Neste processo, apresentou-se a cada grupo de alunos um conjunto de imagens correspondentes ao seu município, seguido de três questões sobre a história local e regional. A partir deste trabalho, reuniu-se um total de 542 entrevistas, incluindo jovens de 13 a 18 anos de idade, todos matriculados e frequentando a referida etapa da escolarização. Partindo dos referenciais da Educação Histórica (Barca, 2001; Lee, 1994; Fronza, 2012; Cainelli, 2017; Cunha, 2017; Martins, 2017), elaborou-se um quadro com categorias correspondentes às ideias históricas presentes nas narrativas destes estudantes: presentista, etnocentrada, multicultural e intercultural. A partir destes dados empíricos, buscou-se compreender as relações entre o processo de patrimonialização de memórias desencadeado no território e as aprendizagens que estes jovens desenvolvem na vida escolar, de forma que se compreendam os limites e as possibilidades das propostas curriculares na interação com as diferentes influências sobre a formação do conhecimento e da consciência histórica dos sujeitos.

Anais do XVII Congresso Internacional das Jornadas de Educaão História - teoria, pesquisa e prática - I Encontro da AIPEDH - Associação Iber-Americana de Pesquisadores em Educação História, realizado pela Universidade Federal da Integração Latino-Americana, entre 02, 03 e 04 de agosto de 2017. Jörn Rüsen (2012) aponta desafios que o ensino de História vem enfrentando e como podem levar à formação de uma consciência histórica e a uma visão humanista da realidade. O primeiro desafio são as incertezas e indefinições que se dão acerca das identidades nacionais, antes coesas e unificadas, mas hoje confrontadas com multiplicidades étnicas e sub e trans-identidades resultantes das migrações. A segunda questão desafiadora é aquela relacionada à busca de uma identidade em meio a esta multiplicidade de identidades. Afinal, quem somos em meio a estas novas identificações que caracterizam a contemporaneidade? O terceiro desafio diz respeito aos ataques à racionalidade ocidental, tirando a sustentação e a estabilidade de antigas concepções e verdades que são contestadas por estudos pós-coloniais e pós-modernos. O quarto desafio reside no novo trato com a natureza, uma relação que se redesenha e envolve as múltiplas identidades frente aos problemas ambientais e as possíveis soluções, que agora despertam também uma reconfiguração da História em relação ao meio natural UFSM

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES The present master's dissertation refers to a research developed together with the master's degree in Education in the Postgraduate Program in Education of the Federal University of Santa Maria (PPGE/UFSM), whose objective is to carry out an analysis about the interrelationship between the Teaching History and the construction of narrative identities of subjects teaching, based on History Education, in order to understand how the concepts of History Education, History Teaching, historical consciousness, narrative and identity are linked to the training of professionals, historians-teachers. It is understood that the construction of identities is a broad, complex process of continuous development during the life of every human subject. These subject-teachers are considered a constituent part of History, so that their narrative identities are reflected in their educational practices and in their (self)formation processes. The central problem of this research is the question: How does the Teaching of History and significant educational practices in formal education build narrative identities of subjects-teachers, historians-teachers, through the use and support of History Education? The investigation methodology of this research is permeated by a theoretical, qualitative and documentary approach, guided by the current of History Education and by the meaning of narratives present in selected dissertations and theses in the field of Education and History Teaching, where, through writing, the subject-teachers present identity elements, directly and/or indirectly through the conceptual and theoretical choices they make. Thus, this research, framed in the research line "LP2 - Public educational policies, educational practices and their interfaces", from PPGE/UFSM, allows a reflection on the construction of historical culture in relation to teaching, to the work of the historian as a teacher and producer of knowledge, at the same time, which interrelates the concepts to the educational practices involved in the construction of historical and educational culture, so that the formation of the historian focused on the being-teacher, and his teaching practices, has meaning and can help in the construction of historical knowledge beyond the academy and society in which we live. The analysis of documentary sources (dissertations and theses) allowed us to understand the development of the interrelationship between History Teaching and the construction of narrative identities of subject-teachers, through the meaning of teaching and learning in a way connected with research and theory, as well as with the formation of the subject and historical knowledge. The meaning of the teaching-learning process, interconnected with the teaching and identity formation of the subjects, also makes it possible to qualify the Teaching of History and bring it closer to reality, especially through the meaning of the historical past from the present, with perspectives of the future, of so that this process makes sense for all the subjects involved. A presente dissertação de mestrado refere-se a uma pesquisa desenvolvida junto ao mestrado em Educação no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (PPGE/UFSM), cujo objetivo é realizar uma análise acerca da inter-relação entre o Ensino de História e a construção de identidades narrativas de sujeitos docentes, a partir da Educação Histórica, de modo a entender como os conceitos de Educação Histórica, Ensino de História, consciência histórica, narrativa e identidade se interligam a formação de profissionais, historiadores-professores. Entende-se que a construção de identidades é um processo amplo, complexo e de desenvolvimento contínuo durante a vida de todo sujeito humano. Considera-se esses sujeitos-docentes como parte constituinte da História, de modo que suas identidades narrativas se refletem em suas práticas educativas e em seus processos de (auto)formação. A problemática central desta pesquisa está na questão: Como o Ensino de História e práticas educativas significativas na Educação formal constroem identidades narrativas de sujeitos-docentes, historiadores-professores, por meio do uso e suporte da Educação Histórica? A metodologia de investigação dessa pesquisa é permeada por uma abordagem teórica, qualitativa e documental, pautada pela corrente da Educação Histórica e pela significação de narrativas presentes em dissertações e teses selecionadas do campo da Educação e do Ensino de História, onde, por meio da escrita, os sujeitos-docentes apresentam elementos identitários, de forma direta e/ou indireta pelas escolhas conceituais e teóricas que realizam. Dessa forma, esta pesquisa, enquadrada na linha de pesquisa “LP2 – Políticas públicas educacionais, práticas educativas e suas interfaces”, do PPGE/UFSM, possibilita uma reflexão acerca da construção da cultura histórica em relação ao ensinar, ao trabalho do historiador enquanto professor e produtor de conhecimento, ao mesmo tempo, que interrelaciona os conceitos às práticas educativas envolvidas na construção da cultura histórica e, também, educacional, de modo que a formação do historiador voltada para o ser-professor, e suas práticas docentes, tenha sentido e possa ajudar na construção de conhecimento histórico para além da academia e da sociedade em que se vive. A análise de fontes documentais (dissertações e teses) permitiu compreender o desenvolvimento da inter-relação entre o Ensino de História e a construção de identidades narrativas de sujeitos docentes, por meio da significação do ensinar e do aprender de modo conectado com a pesquisa e a teoria, bem como com a própria formação do sujeito e do conhecimento histórico. A significação do processo de ensino-aprendizagem, interligada a formação docente e identitária dos sujeitos, possibilita ainda qualificar o Ensino de História e aproximá-lo da realidade, especialmente por meio da significação do passado histórico a partir do presente, com perspectivas de futuro, de modo que esse processo tenha sentido para todos os sujeitos envolvidos.

Esta dissertação busca compreender como as imagens relacionadas à temática africana e afro-brasileira têm sido abordadas nos livros didáticos antes e depois da Lei 10.639/03, que instituiu a obrigatoriedade do ensino de história e cultura africana e afro-brasileira no ensino de história. Para tanto, inicialmente foi necessário abordar a importância das imagens no imaginário social como representação e sua relação com a construção de estereótipos, uma vez que partimos de uma concepção da imagem como fenômeno amplo, que extrapola os limites do livro didático. Em seguida, realizou-se um levantamento, análise e descrição das imagens de temática africana e afro-brasileira em seis livros; três deles anteriores à Lei e três posteriores à Lei 10.639/03. Esse levantamento teve como objetivo perceber quais eram as imagens que costumeiramente eram selecionadas para abordar a temática africana e afro-brasileira (por exemplo, se elas se repetiam antes e posteriormente à Lei, se havia uma preferência em relação a algum tipo de imagem). Após a análise e descrição das imagens, foi realizado um cruzamento dos dados obtidos entre os livros analisados para averiguar a existência de recorrências e padrões – principalmente a frequência de representações produzidas por europeus do período colonial (etnocentrismo) – e a correlação entre informação escrita e imagem (contexto). Com isso, buscou-se, além dos aspectos formais da obra e seus autores, perceber como cada livro discutiu as imagens adotadas à luz dos conteúdos estabelecidos. Por fim, como produto, realizou-se uma proposta didática apresentando um método de análise para imagens fundamentado no método proposto por Panofsky de interpretação de obras de arte. Quatro atividades com obras de arte de artistas negros contemporâneos foram sugeridas, de modo a servir como modelo para se realizar outras atividades com a mesma proposta, sob uma perspectiva decolonial. Assim, por meio dessa proposta didática, pretende-se contribuir para a ampliação de possibilidades metodológicas no uso de imagens no ensino de história com a temática africana e afro-brasileira. This dissertation seeks to understand how images related to African and Afro-Brazilian themes have been addressed in textbooks before and after the implementation of Law 10.639/03, which instituted as mandatory the teaching of African and Afro-Brazilian history and culture within the teaching of history. In order to grasp a fuller understanding, it was initially necessary to address the importance of images in the social imaginary as loaded representations and its relationship with the construction of stereotypes – by doing this, we started from a conception of the image as a broad phenomenon, which goes beyond the limits of the textbook. Then, a survey, analysis and description of images of African and Afro-Brazilian themes were carried out in six books; three of them before the Law and three after Law 10.639/03. This comparative tableau aimed at mapping the way through which images were usually selected to address African and Afro-Brazilian themes (for example, if they were repeated before and after the Law, if there was a preference in relation to some type of image etc). After the analysis and description of the images, a cross-referencing of the data obtained among the analyzed books was carried out to verify recurrences and patterns -- mostly the frequency of representations used in the textbooks that were produced by Europeans from the colonial period (ethnocentrism), and correlation between written information and images (context). Through these different axis, we sought beyond the formal aspects of the visual phenomena in order to understand how each book discussed the images in light of the established contents. Finally, as a product, a didactic proposal was implemented, that aimed at presenting a method of analysis for images based on the method proposed by Panofsky for the interpretation of works of art. Four activities with works of art by contemporary black artists were set out to model further activities, with the same proposal through the lenses of a decolonial perspective. Thus, through this didactic proposal, we intended to contribute to the expansion of methodological possibilities in the use of images within the context of teaching history with African and Afro-Brazilian themes.

As narrativas são construções humanas com finalidade de urdir sentido ao caos das três dimensões temporais: passado, presente e futuro. Incitados pelas carências do presente, os seres humanos traçam suas escolhas dos eventos/resquícios pretéritos, manuseando-os amparados a ideias, métodos e perspectivas, urdem interpretações e, em conclusão, dão formas lógicas ao saber ou ao conhecimento histórico; podendo apresentar confluências e maior destaque aos tipos de sentido “tradicional, exemplar, genética e a crítica”. Este trabalho, de caráter historiográfico, é fruto desse caminho antropológico em meio as dúvidas causadas pela pandemia provocada pelo SARS-CoV-2. Como, então, o ensino de História e os professores foram impactados? Como e o que se ensina no ciberespaço? O contexto impôs o encaminhamento de convites aos professores de História, dos Colégios Estaduais de Goiás, a narrarem suas experiências no Ensino Remoto Emergencial, de agosto até dezembro (2020). Nove aceitaram a construção de cartas pessoais compartilhadas por correios eletrônicos entre três grupos; o conteúdo de maior enfoque são: os sofrimentos, os (re)significados dados ao ensino de História e, surpreendentemente, os seus pensamentos utópicos. Analisando os sofrimentos identifico os “três companheiros” – intensificação do trabalho; necessidade de domínio das ferramentas do ciberespaço; evasão dos discentes. Averiguação que impôs a necessidade de entender por que sofrem e que se depara com a estreita relação com a manutenção do pensamento utópico no ensino de História e não uma crise – normal, crítica ou catastrófica. Narratives are human constructions that aim to weave meaning into the three-time dimensional chaos which consists of past, present and future. Incited by the needs of the present, the human beings trace their past events/vestiges choices by handling them ideas, methods and perspectives, weaving interpretations and, in conclusion, giving logical forms to knowledge or historical knowledge; being able to introduce confluences and greater emphasis to the kinds of meaning “traditional, exemplary, genetic and critical”. This historiographical part, amidst the doubts caused by the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. How, then, the history teaching and teachers have been impacted? How and what is taught within the cyberspace? The context imposed the invitation to history teachers, from the State Colleges of Goiás, to narrate their Emergency Remote Teaching experience, from august until December (2020). Nine have accepted the building of personal letters shared by electronic mailing between three groups; the most focused contents are: the suffering, the (re)meanings given to the History teacher and, surprisingly, their utopic thoughts. With the suffering being analyzed, I identify the “three companions” – work intensification; necessity of mastering the cyberspace tools; student’s evasions. Inquiry the imposed the necessity understanding why they suffer and that is faced with the narrow relation with maintaining the utopical thinking in the History teaching and not a crysis – normal, critical or catastrophic. Ensinar História é também ensinar o seu método de pesquisa. Entretanto, na Educação Básica, os fundamentos teóricos e metodológicos acerca da História, juntamente com todas as disputas político-ideológicas em torno do que deve ser lembrado ou esquecido são comumente negligenciados, colaborando para uma postura passiva dos alunos diante de um conhecimento histórico aparentemente estático. Considerando esse cenário, esta pesquisa-ação propôs a construção do Museu Virtual de Ceilândia em conjunto com alunos dos primeiros anos do Ensino Médio do Centro Educacional 06 de Ceilândia, Distrito Federal. Essa construção se deu através do ensino remoto e em etapas realizadas ao longo do primeiro semestre de 2021. Primeiramente, os alunos responderam um formulário sobre a sua relação com a cidade. Em seguida, visitaram remotamente o Memorial JK e a Casa da Memória Viva da Ceilândia. Posteriormente, entrevistaram os seus familiares e coletaram objetos para o acervo do Museu. Por último, organizaram o Museu Virtual de Ceilândia. O objetivo principal desta Dissertação é analisar o processo de construção desse Museu como meio para que os alunos percebessem os fundamentos da pesquisa histórica, as intencionalidades e as disputas em torno das narrativas históricas a partir da própria experiência prática. Considerando as respostas presentes nos questionários, juntamente as manifestações dos alunos durante as aulas, tal objetivo foi atingido. However, in Basic Education, the theoretical and methodological foundations about History, along with all the political-ideological disputes around what should be remembered or forgotten, are commonly neglected, contributing to a passive attitude of students towards an apparently static historical knowledge. Considering this scenario, this action-research proposed the construction of the Virtual Museum of Ceilândia along with students of the first year of high school at Centro Educacional 06 in Ceilândia, Distrito Federal. This construction took place through remote teaching and in stages carried out throughout the first semester of 2021. First, the students answered to a form about their relationship with the city. Then, they remotely visited the JK Memorial and the Casa da Memória Viva da Ceilândia. Subsequently, they interviewed their relatives and collected objects for the Museum's collection. Finally, they organized the Virtual Museum of Ceilândia. The main objective of this dissertation is to analyze the process of construction of this Museum as a means for students to understand the foundations of historical research and also the intentions and disputes around historical narratives from their own practical experience. Considering the answers present in the questionnaires, together with the contributions of the students during the classes, this objective was achieved. A presente tese investigou o processo de militarização do ensino público em Goiás e sua relação com os interesses concretos de frações de classe. Identificamos a necessidade de uma leitura do tema para além das concepções educacionais tradicionais. O objetivo foi de acessar e compreender as principais motivações, interesses e o sentido da busca das famílias que recorrem às condições oferecidas pelo modelo de administração escolar militarizada. Para isso, recorremos aos conceitos, categorias e argumentos de Christian Laval, Jessé Souza, Pierre Bourdieu dentre outros. Nesse ditame, com base no pensamento do anarquista russo Mikhail Bakunin (1814 -1876) concentramos esforços para estabelecer uma leitura materialista da militarização. O método aplicado é de caráter interdisciplinar na composição de uma análise histórica e sociológica do objeto investigado. A partir de uma multiplicidade de fontes e da aplicação de instrumentais, observamos múltiplas determinações que impulsionam a procura pelos colégios militares. Neste estudo constatamos um conjunto de contradições entre os argumentos pró-militarização e a realidade do processo. Contudo, mesmo em termos contraditórios a dinâmica da militarização se conecta com interesses concretos dos indivíduos, indicando que a busca não se reduz ao aspecto político e ideológico, mas também por fins pragmáticos. Neste sentido, acreditamos que a pesquisa propõe uma mudança de ênfase e de foco nas abordagens sobre o tema, como também da necessidade do debate. The present thesis investigated the militarization process of public education in Goiás and its relation to the concrete interests of class fractions. We identified the need for a reading of the theme beyond traditional educational conceptions. The objective was to access and understand the main motivations, interests and the meaning of the search of families that resort to the conditions offered by the militarized school administration model. To this end, we resorted to the concepts, categories, and arguments of Christian Laval, Jessé Souza, Pierre Bourdieu, among others. Based on the thought of the Russian anarchist Mikhail Bakunin (1814-1876) we concentrate our efforts to establish a materialist reading of militarization. The method applied is of an interdisciplinary nature in the composition of a historical and sociological analysis of the object investigated. From a multiplicity of sources and the application of instruments, we have observed multiple determinations that drive the demand for military colleges. In this study we found a set of contradictions between the pro-militarization arguments and the reality of the process. However, even in contradictory terms the dynamics of militarization connects with concrete interests of individuals, indicating that the search is not reduced to the political and ideological aspect, but also for pragmatic purposes. In this sense, we believe that the research proposes a change of emphasis and focus in approaches to the subject, as well as the need for debate.
