The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the capabilities of internet technology, international entrepreneurial orientation, international networks and export performance achievements of creative industry SMEs in Bali. The population of this research is creative industry SMEs that have exported in Bali. The size of the sample used is 170 managers / owners of creative industry SMEs with purposive sampling method. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results of the study indicate that the capability of internet technology and international entrepreneurial orientation possessed by creative industry SMEs in Bali is quite high. Its international network is in good category, and its export performance is quite good. Therefore, it is important for creative industry SMEs in Bali to continue to improve their internet technology capabilities and international entrepreneurial orientation to a higher level, which is very high, so that their international network becomes very high and the achievement of export performance is high or very high. Things that need to be done include: improving its internet technology infrastructure, communicating its successful mission in international markets more often, increasing resources to support activities in international markets, and attaching importance to encouragement to enter international markets. The recalibration of the sunspot number series, the primary long-term record of the solar cycle, requires the recovery of the entire collection of raw sunspot counts collected by the Zurich Observatory for the production of this index between 1849 and 1980. Here, we report about the major progresses accomplished recently in the construction of this global digital sunspot number database, and we derive global statistics of all the individual observers and professional observatories who provided sunspot data over more than 130 years. First, we can announce the full recovery of long-lost source-data tables covering the last 34 years between 1945 and 1979, and we describe the unique information available in those tables. We then also retrace the evolution of the core observing team in Zurich and of the auxiliary stations. In 1947, we find a major disruption in the composition of both the Zurich team and the international network of auxiliary stations. This sharp transition is unique in the history of the Zurich Observatory and coincides with the main scale-jump found in the original Zurich sunspot number series, the so-called "Waldmeier" jump. This adds key historical evidence explaining why methodological changes introduced progressively in the early $20^{th}$ century could play a role precisely at that time. This article aims to investigate the impact of the international network and social capital on the effectiveness of Muhammadiyah’s emergency response in the 2006 Bantul earthquake. Despite paying more attention to religious and spiritual issues, Muhammadiyah, an Islamic-based social movement, plays a significant role in humanitarian issues. The 2006 earthquake in Bantul devastated public amenities, claimed thousands of people, and caused economic loss. The local government and private sectors of Bantul could not cope with the disaster. The most disaster-affected districts in Bantul Regency were Pundong, Bambanglipuro, and Jetis. Then, Muhammadiyah made an immediate emergency response to help those affected districts. In collaboration with overseas counterparts, Muhammadiyah collected humanitarian assistance. Muhammadiyah might not complete its humanitarian mission without the support of existing local Muhammadiyah in those districts. In other words, Muhammadiyah’s social capital is influential for humanitarian missions. This paper utilized two concepts to elaborate on the effectiveness of Muhammadiyah’s emergency response, namely transnational advocacy networks (TANs) and social capital. Then, this article argues that the higher level of TANs and social capital Muhammadiyah has, the more emergency response it can complete effectively. This paper discovered that three districts had different levels of TANs and social capital. In Pundong, the level of leverage politics (TANs) was higher than social capital. However, both Bambanglipuro and Jetis had a high level of social capital, whereas their leverage politics were low.

Over the last almost 20 years COPSOQ (Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire) has become a well-established instrument to measure psychosocial stress at work. In Germany, a first validated version of COPSOQ was introduced in 2005. After the COPSOQ international network took over responsibility for the development of COPSOQ, a new version was published in 2019 (COPSOQ III). The German version of this questionnaire is now to be validated.Measurement qualities of German COPSOQ III are explored in adherence to the to the usual requirements of a validation study as defined by DIN EN ISO 10075-3. A sample of observations from more than 250,000 participants surveyed with the COPSOQ in Germany is used for univariate and multivariate statistical analysis.With its 84 items the German COPSOQ III includes all psychosocial work factors that are internationally obligatory and is still compatible with almost 70% of the content in the 2005 German version. Typical psychometric properties of the questionnaire (e. g., validity and reliability) are either good or very good for most of the 84 items and 31 scales. Beyond basic results, congruences with widely used theoretical approaches like the Demand-Control(-Support) model or the Job Demands-Resources model are generally satisfactory.With the launch of COPSOQ III in Germany, new workplace psychosocial aspects could be explored. Like the preceding version, the questionnaire is a highly useful instrument for research as well as for risk assessment in enterprises. COSPQO III covers a multitude of theoretical approaches and gives comprehensive information on psychosocial working conditions to deduce actions for their improvement.HINTERGRUND: Seit fast 20 Jahren ist der COPSOQ (Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire) ein weltweit etabliertes Instrument zur Messung psychischer Belastungen bei der Arbeit. É cada vez mais necessário incentivar a pesquisa que conecte as várias regiões e formas culturais. Como os insights de estudos regionais e locais podem ser integrados em uma rede internacional inclusiva de atividades acadêmicas? Convidamos propostas teóricas criativas e estudos de caso estratégicos de todos os campos, locais e épocas para prever um futuro para a história da arte global, concentrando-nos em conectividades, diferenças culturais negociadas e processos históricos dinâmicos. Esse futuro disciplinar resiste à lógica da globalização econômica, evita o enquadramento nacional de seus objetos de investigação, evita hierarquias de gênero, rejeita o presentismo histórico e põe em causa reivindicações não examinadas de universalidade.

The development of rigorous, high-quality clinical guidelines increases the need for resources and skilled personnel within guideline-producing organizations. While collaboration between organizations provides a unique opportunity to pool resources and save time and effort, the collaboration presents its own unique challenges. To assess the perceived needs and current challenges of guideline producers worldwide related to guideline development and collaboration efforts. Survey questions were developed by the Guidelines International Network and the US GRADE Network, pilot-tested among attendees of a guideline development workshop, and disseminated electronically using convenience and snowball sampling methods. A total of 171 respondents representing 30 countries and more than 112 unique organizations were included in this analysis. The survey included free-response, multiple-choice, and seven-point Likert-scale questions. Questions assessed respondents’ perceived value of guidelines, resource availability and needs, guideline development processes, and collaboration efforts of their organization. Time required to develop high-quality systematic reviews and guidelines was the most relevant need (median=7; IQR=5.5–7). In-house resources to conduct literature searches (median=4; IQR=3–6) and the resources to develop rigorous guidelines rapidly (median=4; IQR=2–5) were perceived as the least available resources. Difficulties reconciling differences in guideline methodology (median=6; IQR=4–7) and the time required to establish collaborative agreements (median=6; IQR=5–6) were the most relevant barriers to collaboration between organizations. Results also indicated a general need for improvement in conflict of interest (COI) disclosure policies. The survey identified organizational challenges in supporting rigorous guideline development, including the time, resources, and personnel required. Connecting guideline developers to existing databases of high-quality systematic reviews and the use of freely available online platforms may facilitate guideline development. Guideline-producing organizations may also consider allocating resources to hiring or training personnel with expertise in systematic review methodologies or utilizing resources more effectively by establishing collaborations with other organizations.

OBJECTIVE: To describe risk factors and outcomes of pregnant women infected with SARS-CoV-2 admitted to South African healthcare facilities. METHODS: A population-based cohort study was conducted utilizing an amended International Obstetric Surveillance System protocol. Data on pregnant women with SARS-CoV-2 infection, hospitalized between April 14, 2020, and November 24, 2020, were analyzed. RESULTS: A total of 36 hospitals submitted data on 673 infected hospitalized pregnant women; 217 (32.2%) were admitted for COVID-19 illness and 456 for other indications. There were 39 deaths with a case fatality rate of 6.3%: 32 (14.7%) deaths occurred in women admitted for COVID-19 illness compared to 7 (1.8%) in women admitted for other indications. Of the women, 106 (15.9%) required critical care. Maternal tuberculosis, but not HIV co-infection or other co-morbidities, was associated with admission for COVID-19 illness. Rates of cesarean delivery did not differ significantly between women admitted for COVID-19 and those admitted for other indications. There were 179 (35.4%) preterm births, 25 (4.7%) stillbirths, 12 (2.3%) neonatal deaths, and 162 (30.8%) neonatal admissions. Neonatal outcomes did not differ significantly from those of infected women admitted for other indications. CONCLUSION: The maternal mortality rate was high among women admitted with SARS-CoV-2 infection and higher in women admitted primarily for COVID-19 illness with tuberculosis being the only co-morbidity associated with admission.

La Red del Espacio Profundo o DSN (Deep Space Network) por sus siglas en inglés, es una red internacional de antenas de radio que sirven como apoyo a misiones interplanetarias de naves espaciales, de las observaciones de astronomía de radio y del radar para la exploración del sistema solar y del universo. También sirve de apoyo a misiones en órbitas terrestre y permite el desarrollo, en la tierra, de actividades relacionadas con la seguridad, la salud y la educación, entre otras. Las comunicaciones a través de la DSN son de fundamentales para alcanzar el objetivo de explorar y explotar los recursos del espacio exterior. El objetivo principal de esta investigación es identificar la estructura de las DSN de los países con mayor desarrollo en la materia. Esta fue una investigación cuantitativa, descriptiva con un diseño documental. Los resultados de esta investigación permiten concluir que en los Estados Unidos se está generando el mayor desarrollo de tecnología espacial y de DSN gracias a la incorporación de capital privado. Se debe continuar estudiando y ampliando el conocimiento en el tema dada la importancia para la supervivencia de la humanidad. As one of several actions to seek the preservation of the human race and its evolution, where climate change has turned into an environmental crisis with irreversible damage in some cases, humanity continues with space exploration and prepares for the exploitation of resources in outer space. The Deep Space Network or DSN (Deep Space Network) for its acronym in English, is an international network of radio antennas that serve as support to interplanetary missions of spacecraft, radio astronomy observations and radar for exploration of the solar system and the universe. It also supports missions in terrestrial orbits and allows the development, on the ground, of activities related to security, health and education, among others. Communications through the DSN are essential to achieve the goal of exploring and exploiting the resources of outer space. The main objective of this research is to identify the structure of the DSN of the most developed countries in the field. This was a quantitative, descriptive investigation with a documentary design. The results of this research allow us to conclude that the United States is generating the greatest development of space technology and DSN thanks to the incorporation of private capital. It should continue to study and expand knowledge on the subject given its importance for the survival of humanity.

open access The current linear economic growth model detached from environmental challenges is flawed and has resulted in environmental challenges such as pollution, climate change and many others. Different organisations and countries have devised various interventions and policies to address environmental issues such as reuse, recycling, upcycling, sustainable waste management and circular economy. However, environmental depletion is continuing at an alarming rate. There is an urgent need to re-examine and change the environmental management strategies, consumption, and production patterns of extract-manufacture-consume-dispose to a sustainable model. This paper discusses upcycling innovation as one of the promising sustainability strategies. The authors observe the research in the area is isolated, e.g., country-specific and uncoordinated. Therefore, there is a need for joint research collaboration at a global level to promote upcycling. This may be achieved through an ongoing research project on the International Upcycling Research Network, which has networked upcycling actors on all continents. The International Upcycling Research Network aims to promote the upcycling practice and research to increase resource efficiency and encourage behavioural change toward sustainable lifestyles.

Objective:To explore how some of the largest food companies involved in producing alternative proteins (AP) use health and nutrition claims to market their products.Design:We identified the largest food manufacturers, meat processors and AP companies selling plant-based AP products in the USA. Using publicly available data, we analysed the voluntary health and nutrition claims made on front-of-pack labels (FOPL) and company webpages. We also analysed company websites for further nutrition and health-related statements about their products or AP more generally. Claim classification was guided by the INFORMAS (International Network for Food and Obesity/Non-Communicable Diseases Research, Monitoring, and Action Support) taxonomy for health-related food labelling.Setting:USA.Participants:Not applicable.Results:1394 health and nutrition-related FOPL claims were identified on 216 products, including 685 nutrition claims and 709 ‘other health-related’ claims. No FOPL health claims were identified. Most nutrient claims were for nutrients associated with meat, with 94 % of products carrying a protein claim and 30 % carrying a cholesterol claim. 74 % of products carried a GMO-free claim, and 63 % carried a plant-based claim. On their websites, some companies expanded on these claims or discussed the health benefits of specific ingredients.Conclusions:Companies involved in this category appear to be using nutritional marketing primarily to position their products in relation to meat. There is a focus on nutrient and ingredient claims, with discussion of processing largely avoided. The findings highlight the challenges companies face in positioning AP products as healthy against the backdrop of debates about ultra-processed foods.

Dr. Roy Halling retired in December, 2018 after 34 years as Curator of Fungi at the New York Botanical Garden. This brief retrospective recognizes Dr. Halling’s many contributions to the fields of basidiomycete systematics and biogeography through his scientific publications and field guides, field expeditions on five continents, international network of collaborators, training of students and parataxonomists, and contributions to infrastructure for field and collections-based research.

The Twentieth and twenty first centuries have been described as the age of anxiety. This is largely due to the many civil wars and conflicts that have been prevalent in our contemporary world, and especially with special reference to Africa which is the worst hit. In particular, armed conflicts been witnessed in Angola, Ethiopia Mozambique, Rwanda, Somalia and Sudan among others. Equally, civil wars have been witnessed in Angola, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Somalia and Sudan. Sadly, some of these States are at the verge of collapse due to the effect of these unfortunate civil wars and conflicts. Other countries that were affected by civil or ethnic conflicts, albeit at lower levels include: Burundi, Cameroon, Kenya, Nigeria, Togo, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Chad, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Malawi, Senegal, and South Africa. The latter has witnessed xenophobic attacks, especially in May 2008. Terrorism activities have also Increased, as it continues to create tensions among nations, religions, tribes and so on. To this end, this article seeks to explore the causes of civil wars and conflicts in Africa, that bleeds poverty on a mass scale. How can the church participate in curbing these wars and conflicts, and eventually usher-in sanity in these troubled waters? In its methodology, this article strives to redefine war and discusses the characteristics of modern warfare. Through an extensive review of relevant literature, the article has also attempted to explore the place of individual persons, the nation-states and the international network systems in combating civil wars; and lastly, it has endeavored to show the contribution of the church in wrestling out all forms of conflicts in the Sub-Saharan Africa.

BACKGROUND: Covid-19 pandemic greatly impacted on the healthcare systems worldwide with negative consequences on several aspects of clinical populations. For neurological chronic conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS), rehabilitation activities have been suspended or postponed during the pandemic. Rehabilitation is crucial for people with MS (PwMS) because it promotes recovery from relapses and maximizes opportunities for social participation. To better understand the impact of Covid-19 emergency on rehabilitation services for MS, the European network for rehabilitation in MS (RIMS) disseminated a survey to healthcare professionals (HPs) and representatives of the MS rehabilitation services (RSs), to explore the two different perspectives on the delivery of rehabilitation in usual circumstances and during the Covid-19 emergency. METHODS: The online survey was distributed from July 9th to September 20th, 2020. Besides general information on the responders (e.g. location of center, and memebership to RIMS), information was collected on usual service delivery (e.g. settings, specialities, and types of treatment), the impact of Covid-19 circumstances (e.g. restrictions, use of personal protective equipment, and impact on work), and the use of technologiesin rehabilitation. RESULTS: Twenty-two representatives of MS rehabilitation services (RSs)and 143 health care professionals (HPs) responded. Most of RSs and HPs worked in services specialized for MS including a mixture of all usual rehabilitation settings (i.e. inpatient, outpatient and community setting). The majority of services adopted a multidisciplinary framework, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, social service, speech and language therapy, psychological support, dietary interventions, medical management, vocational rehabilitation and cognitive rehabilitaton. Overall, most of responders indicated they did not use technologies in their practice (e.g. for treatment or assessment). However, depending on the type of technology a low-to-medium percentage of responders declared to use some technologies before Covid-19 crisis (5-55% for RSs and 12-53% for HPs) and a low percentage planned the use after pandemic (0-14% for RSs and 1-10% for HPs). Moreover, for the responders the most feasible interventions deliverable through tele-rehabilitation were psychological support and dietary interventions, with psychological support considered the most necessary intervention to be remotely implemented. Single-crystal X-ray structure analysis revealed the precise structure of a Ce-encapsulated Preyssler-type phosphotungstate which was first synthesized by Pope et al. Antonio et al. reported that encapsulated Ce has a 3+ oxidation state and is redox-inactive, which is unlike other Ce-containing phosphotungstates. Therefore, precise structural analysis about Ce position is needed. The encapsulated Ce was located in one of the side cavities, and was coordinated to one H2O molecule. The position of Ce was similar to that of Y3+ and Eu3+ in similar compounds. Diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI/EDI) are pressing issues in chemistry and the natural sciences. In this Essay we share how an area‐specific approach is “calling in” the community so that it can act to address EDI issues, and support those who are marginalised. Women In Supramolecular Chemistry (WISC) is an international network that aims to support equality, diversity, and inclusion within supramolecular chemistry. WISC has taken a field‐specific approach using qualitative research methods with scientists to identify the support that is needed and the problems the supramolecular community needs to address. Herein, we present survey data from the community which highlight the barriers that are faced by those who take career breaks for any reason, a common example is maternity leave, and the importance of mentoring to aid progression post‐PhD. In conclusion, we set out an interdisciplinary and creative approach to addressing EDI issues within supramolecular chemistry., Marginalisation can be experienced for many intersectional reasons including race, ethnicity, sexuality, religion, and gender. This Essay sets out a field‐specific approach to supporting equality, diversity, and inclusion in supramolecular chemistry as pioneered by an international network of Women In Supramolecular Chemistry (WISC). WISC aims to “call in” the community and to use qualitative approaches to set out a framework for addressing EDI.

Objectives Health guidelines are a key knowledge translation tool produced and used by numerous stakeholders worldwide. Effective participation in guideline development groups or development groups is crucial for guideline success, yet little guidance exists for members of these groups. In this study, we present the Guideline Participant Tool (GPT) to support effective participation in guideline groups, in particular those using the Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development, and Evaluation (GRADE) approach. Study Design and Setting We used a mixed methods and iterative approach to develop a tool to support guideline participation. We used the findings of a published systematic review to develop an initial list of items for considerations for guideline participants. Then, we refined this list through key informant interviews with guideline chairs, sponsors, and participants. Finally, we validated the GPT in three guideline groups with 26 guideline group members. Results The initial list of items based on 37 articles from the existing systematic review included 15 themes and 61 items for a draft tool. Ten key informant interviews helped us refine the list to include the following themes: selection of participants, guideline group process, and tool format. 26 respondents completed the validation survey from three guideline groups. Refinement of the tool ultimately generated a GPT with 33 items for participant consideration before, during, and in follow-up to guideline group meetings. Conclusion The GPT contains helpful guidance for all guideline participants, particularly those without previous guideline experience. Future research should further explore the need for additional tools to support guideline participants and identify and develop strategies for improving guideline members’ participation in guideline groups. This work will be incorporated into INGUIDE.org guideline training and credentialing efforts by the Guidelines International Network and McMaster University.

Antes de abordar el concepto de revaloración, es necesario definir qué es un valor y cómo éste es identificado dentro de los componentes del paisaje de la ciudad; por ello se pretende describir los valores del paisaje presentes en la zona en estudio, que hacen de esta metrópoli un sitio icónico por su historia, riqueza mineral, topografía y cultura. Se ha tomado como referente el método de análisis de la Metropolitan Situation Analysis (MESA), concebido por el programa “Training for Education, Learning and Leadership Towards a New Metropolitan discipline TELLme”, perteneciente a la red internacional de investigación sobre ciudades y metrópolis, coordinada por la Facultad de Arquitectura del Politécnico de Milán, Italia, a través del Programa Erasmus Plus de la Unión Europea, 2014-2020 y el documento del Catálogo de Paisaje de la Región Metropolitana de Barcelona (2017) así como una exhaustiva recopilación de información documental, bibliográfica, cartográfica y fotográfica y realización de recorridos por la ciudad, todo ello con miras a recabar información que permita la apreciación del Patrimonio Cultural de la ciudad a través de los valores paisajísticos presentes en ella

This article discusses the topical issues of engineering education, which have become the discussion point at the international network scientific and practical conference titled “Synergy” that has been held since 2016. The organizational basis of the conference is provided by the leading technical universities in Russia under the support of the international societies for engineering education and the largest Russian energy company Gazprom. The article outlines the broad issues of the conference, related to interdisciplinarity, new standards and technologies for engineering education, digital educational environment and online technologies, interaction between engineering education and high-tech business and industry, the models of digital competencies and mechanisms to independently certify them, training of highly qualified personnel, professional education within the school-university-enterprise system, and many other relevant aspects of contemporary engineering education.

Context Current debriefing approaches and faculty development strategies for simulation educators differ around the world. We aim to describe the status of current debriefing practice and faculty development for simulation educators in this study. Methods We distributed a paper-based survey during 2 international conferences to obtain data from active International Network for Simulation-based Pediatric Innovation, Research and Education members. The survey was tested to ensure content validity and consisted of the following 3 constructs: demographic characteristics, current debriefing practice, and issues related to faculty development. Results One hundred nine of 114 participants (96%) completed the survey. Debriefing practice differs in terms of timing, duration, framework, and conversational framework. Most debriefings were less than 30 minutes (93/109, 85%), with many educators not using objective data during debriefing (47/109, 43%). Three- or 4-phase debriefing frameworks were used most commonly (66/109, 61%). Most participants have access to some faculty development opportunities (99/109, 91%). Barriers to faculty development are related to time and resource constraints (eg, freeing up facilitator's time: 75/109, 69%, competing priorities 64/109, 59%). Most participants indicated that their needs for debriefing to improve learning outcomes were met (95/109, 87%). The desired content for future faculty development opportunities varies between educators with different levels of expertise. Conclusions Approaches to debriefing among members of an international pediatric simulation network vary considerably. Although faculty development opportunities were available to most participants, future simulation programs should work on addressing barriers and optimizing faculty development plans to meet the needs of their educators.

A educação ocupa um lugar importante na formação humana por promover um descortinar da cegueira do conhecimento. Para tanto, a educação requer espaços que promovam a construção do saber, religue conceitos de igualdade e sociedade a fim de possibilitar o ato de educar em toda sua inteireza. Com o objetivo de relatar as principais atividades que nortearam a atuação dos Núcleos RIEC FURB e RIEC ECOFOR em Santa Catarina, engajados com a justiça social, este artigo foi elaborado a partir de uma pesquisa documental e bibliográfica, com base de dados nos registros dos núcleos e publicações relacionadas. Os dados demonstram uma intensa atividade de ambos os núcleos no desenvolvimento de ensino, pesquisa e extensão e revelam a potencialidade socializadora das ações empreendidas na direção de consolidar o desempenho da Rede Internacional de Escolas Criativas desde a educação básica até o ensino superior no período de 2012 a 2020.

BACKGROUND In this study, we aimed to evaluate and compare the treatment indication for patients with glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis (GIOP) in various clinical practice guidelines. METHODS We searched for potentially relevant studies conducted from January 2000 to March 2020 using online databases, including PubMed, Ovid-EMBASE, Guidelines International Network, National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence, KoreaMed, KMbase, and KoMGI. We reviewed and analyzed the guidelines that included recommendations on GIOP and fulfilled the inclusion criteria. RESULTS A total of 94 articles were selected based on review of the title and abstract; 14 guidelines were assessed upon reviewing the full text. The bone mineral density score for therapeutic intervention of GIOP in postmenopausal women was presented in 7 guidelines, among which 3 guidelines set a T-score of -2.5 or lower and the other 4 guidelines proposed a less stringent cut-off point of -1.5 or lower. Among the 10 guidelines published since 2012 after the emergence of the fracture risk assessment tool (FRAX), 6 guidelines included FRAX in their criteria for defining intervention thresholds. However, they were further divided into fixed-probability (n=3) and age-dependent (n=3) thresholds based on the country. CONCLUSIONS Recently developed guidelines use FRAX as the criterion for establishing the treatment of patients with GIOP. However, these intervention thresholds need to be adapted for each country.
