This paper focuses on the perceptions of sustainability and environmental protection expressed by the users of social networks (such as Facebook or WhatsApp). Forming the perception of climate change and environmental protection is a part of sustainable education. Social networks and Internet-based technologies might contribute to the process of gaining, processing and exchanging the information on sustainable development and to help to shape the social environmental awareness. Our results demonstrate that people who are familiar with the concept of sustainability consider environmental protection to be very important compared to those who are not familiar with this concept. In addition, it appears that people without any significant knowledge about sustainability are not interested in environmental protection. These outcomes suggest that sustainable education might help people in changing their perspectives and considering environmental protection to be essential for the future.

The paper deals with innovations in security policy, which are mainly influenced in relation to cyberspace. Currently, cybersecurity issues are among the most discussed, mainly because most of both the professional as well as personal activities have moved to the online environment. Along the advantages of this phenomenon which undoubtedly include, in particular, the use of the Internet, we may also distinguish in an exponentially increasing magnitude the risks of cyber-hazard of various levels of significance. It is therefore essential to have an institutional framework of public authorities ensuring the safe use of the online environment as well as for dealing with possible security incidents. The aim of the paper is thus to analyze those public administration bodies in the Slovak Republic that have powers in the researched area, as well as to point out the modern trends related to this issue. The main goal of bachelor study is provide quality of education to its student during three years. The better the studies, the better employment chances of the graduates. The competitive ability of today's youth is a very important social and economic factor in every developed state. Since its foundation, the European Union went from its initial documents founding European Coal and Steel Community, to the Lisbon Treaty founding the European Union, through changes in priorities and goals to a very ambitious strategy that is supposed to bring the EU to a leading place in the world market. The EU is supposed to gain a position as the most competitive economy based on a knowledge and skills-oriented economy. The paper aims at analysing and assessing of educational programme of applied informatics. It describes the assessment quality of bachelor curriculum in half of the academic year (after one semester) by third year students (last year of the bachelor study) of the Department of Applied Informatics and Math at University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius, Slovak Republic. Data was obtained by electronic questionnaire and anonymously from students. The results are presented by graphical output and describes it. The paper deals with a very topical issue which currently constitutes one of the major global problems of the world, and that is terrorism and its consequences for social and economic development of our society. For this reason, in this article, was created by analysis of strategic elements that are effective in combating terrorism. Part of the contribution is intended to define terrorism from a historical perspective, which we see as the perception and the overall focus of terrorism is changing due to the current global or regional problems. Currently, each region of the world, due to its economic potential, seeks to promote the fight against terrorism. In the world there are many organizations involved in protecting humans against terrorism. We are dealing with text mainly those that directly affect European Union. Another part of the article describes and defines the current strategy to fight terrorism in the Czech Republic. Czech legislation based on the basic regulation and standards to be followed by each Member State of Union. At the same time, most European Union states struggling in practice against this problem institutions and national churches, which operate at the national and transnational levels today because the state can't fight terrorism only at their national level.
