Objective: To understand the current status of research in the field of metaverse, and to analyze the research progress and evolutionary trends in this field. Methods: Based on the bibliometric analysis, a total of 921 papers were obtained by searching the Web of science core database for the keyword "metaverse". CiteSpace was used to visualize and analyze the current status and trends of metaverse research in China. Results: Ireland is currently the country with the highest research impact. China is currently the country with the largest number of publications in this field, but the impact of the research is insufficient. The current research in the highly cited literature focuses on technical and history reviews of the metaverse as well as its development in the field of education. Artificial Intelligence and utaut2 are the underlying clusters of cited literature in this research area. Several research hotspots have been formed, such as virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, digital twins and artificial intelligence. Conclusion: The current research on metaverse in various fields is basically in its infancy, but has a great potential for future development and will gradually penetrate into many different directions with many challenges. Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) has attracted increasing research interest in sustainable management and decision-making in recent years. To further understand the research status and trend, the purpose of this study is to adopt bibliometric and visual methods to analyze the knowledge structure and the evolution path in the research field of ESG. Based on 1735 papers on ESG in the Web of Science Collection database from 2004 to 2021, this study uses CiteSpace and VOSviewer to present a bibliometric overview of publications, citation structure, authors, universities, countries/regions, journals, and keywords that work on this Topic. Results indicate that scholars increasingly regard ESG as an integrated sustainability analysis framework and pay more attention to the connection among its dimensions. According to the growth trend, ESG may remain a hot research topic for the next few years. The USA is the most productive country, followed by England and China. Journals on ESG research with higher effective factors have higher cocitation frequency and publications. And Sustainable development, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, ESG, and ESG ratings as the research hotspots are presented. Additionally, this study provides an overview of the ESG research trends for future researchers. BACKGROUND: Patellofemoral pain syndrome is a common disease in the field of sports injuries. Research in and outside China is increasing year by year, but there is no visual analysis for patellofemoral pain syndrome. OBJECTIVE: To objectively analyze the literature research on patellofemoral pain syndrome in and outside China in the past 13 years, to summarize the recent research directions in this field and to sort out the knowledge structure in and outside China. METHODS: Relevant articles on patellofemoral pain syndrome were collected from Web of Science and CNKI. Citespace software was used for visual analysis to show the research hotspots and development trends of this field. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: (1) A total of 1 679 articles were finally included in the Web of Science database. The authors with the most articles are De Oliveira Silva D from La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia and Crossley KM from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Hot keywords are hip, biomechanics, prevention (prognosis), prevalence disease rate, consensus statement, gender differences, electromyographic activity, risk factor, and osteoarthritis. (2) A total of 214 articles were included and analyzed in the CNKI database. The author with the most articles is Miao Ping from the Rehabilitation Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University. Hot keywords are arthroscopy, biomechanics, strength training, lateral femoral muscle, surface electromyography, patellofemoral arthritis, and joint replacement. (3) International research hotspots show the biomechanical characteristics of increased knee external rotation, increased hip adduction, and decreased hip internal rotation during patient exercise. Strengthening the hip abductors and external rotators can effectively improve the pain and function of patients. At present, the most appropriate method to treat the disease in the world is a customized multi-modal intervention program, including strengthening of the gluteal muscles and quadriceps, emphasizing education and activity adjustment. (4) The results of major Chinese studies in this field confirm that the use of arthroscopic surgery can improve the pain of patients with patellofemoral pain syndrome, and patellofemoral joint replacement has a certain effect on early severe patellofemoral arthritis in such patients. Rehabilitation training methods are mainly based on hip joint strength training, supplemented by core muscles, lower limb eccentric strength and neuromuscular control training. [Objectives] To analyze the current research situation, hotspots and trends of curcumin and diabetes in recent 10 years. [Methods] Web of Science database was set as data source, the annual number of papers, the distribution of authors, the distribution of country/institution, the distribution of journals, the distribution of key words in the literature about curcumin and diabetes from January 1,2010 to March 31, 2021 were quantitatively and visually analyzed with the aid of visualization software Bibliometrix. [Results] A total of 475 articles were included, and the annual number of papers was on the rise; the top three high-yielding countries were China (120 papers), India (65 papers), and the United States (58 papers). In terms of international cooperation, China and the United States had the most cooperation (27 papers); the top three high-yielding institutions were Wenzhou Medical University (42 papers), Mashhad University of Medical Sciences (41 papers) and Tehran University of Medical Sciences (30 papers); the most frequently cited authors were Wang Y (19 times), Li X (13 times), Li Y (12 times), Liang G (12 times) and Zhang Y (12 times); the top three journals in number of papers were Diabetology & Metabolic Syndrome (8 papers), PLoS One (8 papers), and European Journal of Pharmacology (7 papers), and the h index was 7,8, and 6, respectively; the most frequently cited journals were Diabetes (496 times), Journal of Biological Chemistry (486 times), PLoS One (347 times), Diabetes Care (284 times), and European Journal of Pharmacology (229 times); the most frequent key words mainly included oxidative stress, curcumin, insulin-resistance and expression; the hotspots were insulin resistance and NF-kP>, mainly focusing on in vitro experiments. [Conclusions] The curcumin has good therapeutic potential in improving insulin resistance, inhibiting inflammation and oxidative stress, etc. The results are expected provide a reference and basis for scientific researchers to understand the current situation of curcumin and diabetes research and cany' out the further research. BACKGROUND: Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) technology has been widely used in neuropsychology, rehabilitation medicine, and pediatrics, due to its advantages of painlessness, non-invasiveness, effectiveness and safety. However, there is yet no visual analysis of literature on TMS for treating stroke. OBJECTIVE: To objectively analyze global research on TMS in the treatment of stroke in recent 10 years, and summarize the recent research direction of this field and sort out the knowledge structure worldwide. METHODS: Based on the relevant literature on TMS for stroke in databases of CNKI and Web of Science, Citespace software was used to visualize the use of TMS in the treatment of stroke. The number, countries, authors, research institutions, keywords, cited references and journals of relevant literatures and funding grants were analyzed to explore the research hotspot and development trend in this field. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: A total of 1 729 articles were included in the Web of Science database. Among them, the institution with the most publications was Harvard Medical School, and the country with the most publications was the United States, followed by China. China ranks first in international fund support. The hot keywords included rehabilitation, excitability, motor cortex and etc. As described in a representative English article, TMS therapy at a frequency of 1 Hz was found to improve patients’ motor function to a greater extent. A total of 455 literatures were included in CNKI database. Among them, the institution with the most publications was the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of Huashan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University, and the hot keywords were rehabilitation, depression, motor function, aphasia and so on. As described in a representative Chinese article, high-frequency TMS was found to be more effective than low-frequency TMS in improving post-stroke depression and daily living ability. Further analysis of the results shows that, in recent 10 years, the international research frontier and future development trend mainly focus on the mechanism of TMS on cerebral cortical motor areas and the efficacy of TMS combined with other rehabilitation therapies (motor learning and mirror therapy) in the treatment of various functional disorders after stroke. Based on the bibliometric and data visualization analysis software Citespace, this study carried out document statistics and information mining on the Web of Science database and characterized the distributed hydrological model knowledge system from 1986 to 2019. The results show a few things: (1) from 1986 to 2019, the United States and China accounted for 41% of the total amount of publications, and they were the main force in the field of distributed hydrological model research; (2) field research involves multiple disciplines, mainly covering water resources, geology, earth sciences, environmental sciences, ecology and engineering; (3) the frontier of field research has shifted from using distributed hydrological models in order to simulate runoff and nonpoint source environmental responses to the coupling of technologies and products that can obtain high-precision, high-resolution data with distributed hydrological models. (4) Affected by climate warming, the melting of glaciers has accelerated, and the spatial distribution of permafrost and water resources have changed, which has caused a non-negligible impact on the hydrological process. Therefore, the development of distributed hydrological models suitable for alpine regions and the response of hydrological processes to climate change have also become important research directions at present.
