Objective: To understand the social representations of the use of concept maps in a tutorial group of nursing students. Methods: Qualitative research, based on the Collective Subject Discourse analysis of 26 students from a public university in the Midwest of Brazil. Results: Two categories emerged from the discourse analysis: 1) Concept Map: a facilitating tool for learning organization and 2) Concept Map: a tool that causes tension and disadvantages learning. Conclusion: The concept map facilitates self-study and learning, as it enables the synthesis of knowledge and the organization of reasoning. Objective: Describe the use of Yoga in breastfeeding support, from the perspective of nursing mothers. Methods: This is an exploratory, descriptive study with a qualitative approach, with ten lactating women, from the municipality of Niterói - RJ, in the period between May and September 2018, using the structured interview, workshop as data production tool Yoga and field diary. The data were submitted to discourse analysis in the thematic modality. Results: Three categories were identified: Yoga as emotional and physical support for mothers; The assistance of the health team, and the meanings of the experience during the parturition and breastfeeding process; and The mother-baby relationship as a basis for maternal well-being and continuity of breastfeeding. Conclusion: The convergence between Yoga and breastfeeding is identified, since the physiological and psychic processes are manifested in the health of the physical body, holistically interconnected. The senses and negative emotions, reported in the breastfeeding process were minimized with the use of yoga as a therapeutic resource. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: to describe the perception of health professionals about the aspects related to humanization at birth and birth. Methodology: A descriptive study with a qualitative approach, carried out with 26 health professionals specialized in obstetrics (10 nurses and 16 physicians) from three public maternity hospitals at usual risk In Recife-PE. Critical analysis of discourse was used as theoretical reference. Results: Difficulties faced in the development of delivery and birth care; Divergent discourse regarding the humanization of delivery and birth care; Divergence between assisted obstetric care models. Conclusions: the need to extend the understanding of humanization of birth and birth by professionals is perceived, with the objective of paying attention to the needs of the parturient and the family. Objective: to know the historical process of the creation of the Midwifery Technical Chamber and its determinants; identifying the reasons that gave rise to the institutional support offered to Midwifery by the Technical Chamber of Minas Gerais Regional Council of Nursing (COREN-MG). Methodology: social-historic study, from secondary data and semi-structured interviews, which were analyzed based on discourse analysis. Results: midwifery Technical Chamber is a landmark in support to Midwifery; their actions provided sociopolitical advances in the field of autonomy. Objective: to understand how nurses understand the applicability of early intension directives in the care of the last phases of life. Methodology: qualitative, descriptive and exploratory research, carried out with eight nurses from a university hospital in the south of Brazil, in December 2014, based on semi-structured interviews, submitted to discursive textual analysis. Results: three categories emerged: conflicts in patient care in the final phase; Advantages and difficulties in the applicability of antecipated directives of intention; Benefits in the applicability of the antecipated intension directives by the nursing. Conclusion: The antecipated directives are related to the respect of personal autonomy, however a practice surrounded by fears and concern of its fulfillment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
