The article discusses a longitudinal study on temperamental differences among children and how they interact with environmental influences in the formation of personality. The three types of temperament according to the study are easy, difficult and slow to warm up. The study concluded that if the child's own characteristics and his environment are harmonized, a healthy development of a child can be anticipated.
